En el 2012, el gobierno mexicano decidió medir el bienestar subjetivo como indicador de progreso nacional. A partir de ese año surgió el BIARE como un módulo de la Encuesta Nacional de Confianza del Consumidor en México y que tiene como objetivo medir la felicidad, la satisfacción con la vida y las emociones positivas y negativas de la población mexicana.
Pero ¿Qué tan confiables son estos datos? ¿Cómo sabemos si realmente reflejan cómo nos sentimos?
