If you can run your business like a zoo (which you already might), what lessons can exotic species teach us about business? This episode features Tim Morrow, CEO of the San Antonio Zoo. Drawing on his career from two large theme parks, Tim wanted to put sizzle and excitement into the 109-year-old zoo.
In addition to redesigning habitats, the zoo opened a nature-based preschool, a rhino exhibit, moved the city’s iconic Kiddie Park to the zoo grounds, fiddled with Taco Tuesdays and even writes love letters between hippos. Every industry will definitely take a few hints from Tim, who backed off a law enforcement career to save animals, save jobs and rescue a human here and there.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
