This message is from the book titled, “Evangelistic Talks by Gipsy Smith. Each chapter represents messages that he was giving every morning during a revival. The book was written in 1922 so there is no doubt he was influenced by the Welsh revival and the Azusa Street Revival. And but I dare to say that if he had kept quiet though influenced and impacted by these great moves of God he would have been filled with the same remorse as Peter was in his denying Jesus.

I will be doing several chapters from this book as Gipsy was very evangelistic and so his messages were always down to the brass tacks of salvation. Yes he operated in the office of an evangelist as discussed in Eph chapter 4, in other words he did his part and as each of us does our part in completing the mission of Jesus He, that is Jesus will return.

The bible states the following about His Word:

Is 55:11 - So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

What this means is that I can teach on a message that was preached 5000 years ago and it will still have the power to transform those who can see and hear the things of God. And now but if this wasn’t true then we are in trouble to seek anything from the bible which is confoundedly both the oldest book as well as the newest book to have ever to have existed. Old because is whispers of a few of the creation events more precisely than all of the science that has ever existed, and new because it tells us of the end of all that was created under the old Adam world and speaks to us of a new heaven and a new earth. No science or A. I. can ever be so accurately predictive.

All of that to say don’t worry about the age of the books that I speak on as God never can lie:

Matt 24:35 - Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
