When we can learn to embrace the righteousness of God that comes to us through Jesus Christ alone, there is always a way forward. And not only that, the glory of the LORD will protect you from behind!
There is no amount of good works, philanthropy, charity or service to others that can serve as a substitute for the precious gift of forgiveness and salvation accomplished through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
† “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.“ Romans 3:23 NIV
It’s not that we shouldn’t do good works, we should. The point here is that we shouldn’t do good works to obtain forgiveness and salvation, but rather we should do good works because in Christ, we are forgiven and have received salvation!

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
