(00:01):
I woke up 1 morning just a regular schmo.
Green Bay was restless. Spirit ran low and then it hit
me. I had to let it show.
So shout it so loud. Go, pack.
Go. But the fans started roaring.
(00:38):
Lambeau Field shook from the very first moment.
That's all it took down the line.
If I told you I could barely thought stealing a chance some
soccer team God. No need for a Viking to borrow a
chin. I choose out the power of the
(01:00):
frozen monsoon. The apps did you create?
Did you buy online? But that's not my policy.
These words are my name. Go back gold.
Go back gold. Go back gold.
(01:27):
Go back, go. Did you hear that?
She's head spit. Go back, go.
He was hot up and loud screaming.
Go back, go said, you know we ain't no choir.
Go back, go. So we shouted so loud.
Go back, go, go back, go. Yeah.
(01:53):
Go back. Go.
Yeah. Welcome back to Derailed.
I am your host JJ Leahy here with my good friend Jake
(02:13):
Chavink. We got some, got some of the
boys in the chat already got Chris the casual end saying I'd
rather be 120 minutes early thanone minute late.
Appreciate you Chris. That's exactly the right mindset
that you need for Ed policy day.Now Ed policy day was yesterday.
We tried to go live yesterday, something came up, couldn't do
(02:36):
it. But I still heart partied hard.
I hope that all the rest of you did as well.
But we got Aspendale Farm in thechat saying hi fellas, Aspendale
Farm. That's my Mama.
Mama, how? How's it going?
I got my beverage. All right.
Jake, did you celebrate Ed Policy Day like a good red
(02:58):
blooded American? Absolutely.
As much as as much as physicallypossible.
And I'm excited to dive into allof that and more on Ed Policy
Day today in a belated fashion. Very excited about it.
And I got a couple got a couple surprises up the sleeve here.
(03:21):
JJI don't even think knows aboutwhat what's going on.
So we'll figure out when we'll figure out when you were
bringing anything. OK, we'll figure out when I'm
going to we're going to do this. But I'm excited.
I did. So I I kind of partied all
weekend for Ed policy Day. My daughter painted pictures of
(03:42):
fireworks Fred policy day and she wore her Packers dress.
We had burgers. We had brat burgers roasted up
some great pork at a good time. I have of course, my spotted
cow. There it is.
(04:03):
Now many of you remember I don'tlive in the the great state of
Wisconsin, but my mom just visited and she brought me a
pack. So cheers Mama.
Thank you. There we go.
So we are. We're celebrating in style.
Derschel says he parted with a new redacted flavor.
(04:25):
Would not recommend it. I wondered.
So Derschel sent me a picture ofthe new flavor of redacted
energy that he found. It was a it was a bubblicious
like dragon fruit or something. What was it?
Hold on. I got bubblicious dragon fruit.
That's a thing. Here it is.
Here's the picture. It's.
(04:46):
What is that? My goodness, cotton candy,
bubblicious cotton candy. And I was mega iffy about it.
And and so Durst said he'd take one of the team and and try it.
He says it's not worth it. So we got Drew in the chat.
Welcome, Drew. Thank you.
Drew, how did you celebrate Ed Policy day of?
(05:11):
Drew says dragon fruit sounds good.
And always his points. Yeah.
The one dragon fruit thing that is good.
What are those called? High choose.
High choose. You know what I'm talking about.
I think that's right. I think that's.
I think that's what they're called.
Yes. All right, I got the picture.
I'm going to share my screen. Here we go.
(05:31):
High choose. That's not what I was trying to
share. Glad that didn't share.
Here we go. Haichu.
So this candy right here, there we go.
Now it's on screen. The dragon fruit flavor of
Haichu is pretty good. And here actually, I've had the
dragon. So you see this Kiwi one right
(05:54):
here. Yeah, this is like crazy good.
The Kiwi, it looks good. Where's the IT looks very good.
Mango. I like grape.
I'm not a fan of did. Would not recommend that one
Watermelon. I didn't know I had watermelon
Let's see Haichu dragon. I do know I like this one more
(06:14):
there we go check that out. So that's pretty darn good there
you go there's your weekly promothat we give to a brand who
doesn't pay US money cuz you know we're we're always looking
for sponsors. I did, I did ask the energy
drink company who Shall not be named to sponsor us and they
(06:35):
haven't gotten back to me yet. So pretty sad about that.
So Adam Huddle says he's hopefully seeing F1 on Saturday.
That looks pretty good. And I really enjoyed Ford versus
Ferrari when it came out a couple years ago.
That was a good one too. Yes, that, Jake, did you see
that one? I have seen that.
I love it. It's everybody was passing
(06:56):
around those like top ten favorite or best or however you
wanted to approach it, movies ofthe 21st century.
And I put Ford versus Ferrari onmy list.
I love, I, I really, really enjoy that movie.
So I, I want to see F1 as well. That is, that is on the list
this summer. No question.
(07:17):
Actually, I, I haven't seen people debating the top ten.
What is it, the top ten, 21st century?
Yeah. So like people, I think the New
York Times is doing like a a reader's poll that you could
submit your 10 and they would kind of put the readers
together. And I know they're going through
their own list as well. OK.
So, well, I, I kind of want to fill this out then I would
(07:41):
definitely have to include the first Madagascar movie on there.
OK, I have mine. I could share it on the screen.
Yeah, let's, let's see. Let's share it on the screen.
All right. Let's do that.
Let's there's not much that's more patriotic on Ed policy day
than than ranking things than ranking things.
(08:04):
I you know, it's true. Oh, man, can you make your can
you make your window a lot narrower?
I'll hide the than the make it narrower.
Maybe hang on. If you make it narrower, it'll
fill the it'll go. It'll stretch taller.
Let me let me do it again and then I will mess with it before.
(08:31):
Did you guys know that Antonio Freeman plays soccer for the US
men's national team? I had no idea.
I actually, I don't watch any soccer hardly at all.
I, I, I, I saw one professional soccer game in person and then I
watched the first couple seasonsof Ted Lasso.
(08:52):
That is my entire exposure to tosoccer, but I love Antonio
Friedman. Oh no, Drew says it's not
Antonio Friedman, it's Antonio Friedman's son.
OK, F1 has a lot of Days of Thunder elements, but don't go
in expecting it to be an amazingmovie.
(09:12):
Ford versus Ferrari was good as well.
I would say Ford versus Ferrari was an amazing movie.
Ford versus Ferrari is one of myhigher rated Christian Bale
performances. I thought he was just fantastic
in that. Yeah, he he did.
He was awesome. Gershwil says any list without
the prestige doesn't count. I need to give the Prestige
(09:33):
another shot. That's interesting.
I need to give the prestige another shot.
I I saw the first like 20 minutes.
I just didn't get sucked in. So I think I need I think the
problem is I don't enjoy magic like, you know, illusions,
slight hands type stuff like that's not interesting to me.
(09:55):
So I think that was why I had a hard time getting sucked in.
All right, this is still this isstill pretty small, but so are
these ranked or is it just the top ten in nowhere?
I just put I just put 10 on there.
Yes. OK, so Ford versus Ferrari
parasite. I didn't see parasite I it's
very good. OK, I'm putting that on there.
Very good Inception also on my list.
(10:18):
Too old for this recommended Sinners and I haven't seen that
yet but I have it in my possession now so I need to
watch that. I've not seen that Inception.
Inception is good. Here's my thing with Inception
though. I will say I think that you need
to have a long gap in between viewings because the movie is
(10:39):
repetitive enough that if you see it close together, I think
it gets monotonous. But if it's been, you know, 5 or
10 years since we've seen it, it's crazy good.
You have Lord of the Rings, The Return of the King on here.
Now remind me, did Fellowship come out pre 2000?
(11:01):
Is that like 99? No, I I don't.
I am a huge Lord of the Rings fan, but I would rank the two
towers significantly ahead of Return of the King.
That's fair, but I certainly would include the two towers on
(11:24):
2001. I would have a hard time not
including all three of them on my list, but I probably would.
I decided I couldn't. I'm not putting.
I decided no multiple of a series that was like my one like
caveat that I did for this because I would have also done
the same thing. I would have put all three of
them on here for sure. But I left.
(11:47):
I just I just kept one on there.Drew says if I can be a party
pooper, remember the Titans, which came out in 2000.
It's technically a 20th century.The 21st century doesn't begin
until 2001. I am asking perplexity, is the
year 2000 considered 20th or 21st century?
(12:09):
And perplexity says you're just taking a long time to think
about it. The year 2000 is considered part
of the 20th century. The 20th century includes the
years 19 O one through 2000. The 21st century began on
January 1st, 2001. This is because there's no year
zero in the Gregorian calendar. That is interesting.
(12:31):
I do find that interesting. Of of course, we would coming up
with a great language that we have in English.
We would also include in a different century something that
starts with A2, with everything else that starts with 19.
That doesn't shock me that we'rethat stupid.
Yes, I that doesn't shock me at all.
(12:52):
Doesn't shock I bet it was on there.
It was if if if it wasn't if it was 99 or before you couldn't
search for it so it's on there too bad tough party still goes
on. I'm I'm surprised you're digging
in on this because I would thinkthat you would party's going on
Relieved to have an excuse to gograb my 11th movie to include in
(13:15):
here. We just gave you a a nice little
loophole. All right.
We have a quite a bunch of comments to catch up on here.
There's just any list without the prestige doesn't count.
Chris N asks if I like Ford VS Safari better than American
Psycho. No, I mean obviously American
Psycho is is the better film of Christian Bale's but it's like 2
(13:39):
draft drastically different versions of Christian Bale.
So you can love both of them. I both I would put them both,
you know, in the S tier of of Bale films.
Let's see, Daryl is RO. Wait, where's RO?
Respect oranges? Where's respect oranges in the
(14:00):
world? But I don't know why you put
that up on the screen. Sorry, I didn't realize I
clicked it. Dirstjel says Parasite.
I didn't read it out loud at least.
Dirstjel says Parasite might be the most underrated,
award-winning movie ever. All right, fine, I'll put it on
my freaking. List and we'll watch it.
Inception is unreal. Domination.
(14:21):
What domination? It's it's a great movie.
Mafi is here for Jake's 2026 draft hot takes.
I'm guessing that's probably what Jake was teasing earlier
that he said he had something cooked up for.
Especially guessing it's actually not it.
Believe it or not, O27 we're getting 27 hot.
Well, draft hot takes then. You know, maybe Otto agrees with
(14:43):
Remember the Titans being on thelist, and he also agrees with me
that Two Towers is better than return.
But both are great huddled. What do you think about Rings of
Power 'cause I have debated and debated this with people.
So I was blue in the face. I really like Rings of Power.
(15:04):
I think it's fun. Yeah, I have no problems, no
qualms. There's a lot of people who
can't get over the, you know, the, the shifting of the
timeline. And I'm like, you know what?
Here's the thing. Star Wars has shifted the
timelines 15 billion times. We mad that they did it a
little. You have to compress the
timeline in order for it to workwell on film.
(15:24):
Like, I'm congratulations that, you know, the, the, you know,
chronology of everything. You know, great props to you
for, you know, being highly educated about it.
But do you honestly expect people to sit through just, you
(15:45):
know, these massive gaps in the linear timeline that is not
going to work on on screen? I just don't.
I just feel like no matter what, people will find a way to
complain about something for sure.
There's just, I feel like there's, there's just no way
this is this is we're, we're getting truly derailed on, on,
(16:09):
on. We're we're giving the people,
we're giving the people a gift. All right, for for Ed policy
day. We're giving people some movie
talk, Derschel says in honor of too old for this.
No rest in power, rest in concussion protocol.
Godzilla deserves to sneak in. Here's the question, though,
(16:32):
which Godzilla movie? That's the tough thing.
I would say that's tough. Now I'm conflicted.
Like I was about to say which one I thought it was and I'm I
got to go back to the film room.Literally.
I'm going back. We got to re rank those.
We'll do it. We'll do that on another show.
(16:53):
Feel like we we re ranked it just like we did five months
ago, didn't we did? But it feels too long.
I think. I think I'm going to, I'm going
to cast my vote for Godzilla -1 I think that's got to be the
answer. But man, there's some good ones
in there -1 is is going to be myanswer.
(17:13):
But OK, honestly, all of them wegot agreement for the only one
that doesn't agree or the only one that that doesn't have any
place is Godzilla King of the Monsters.
Just like 2019 or something. That's that was the one with 11
from Stranger Things. Horrific movie, just awful.
The only good part of that entire movie, 2019, that seems.
(17:36):
Wow, Yeah. Wow.
Did not realize that. Yeah, the the only good part of
that movie was when Ghidorah is on top of the volcano and he oh,
that's sick roars. And he does like the triple, the
triple like echo thing. So it's like a three second long
(18:01):
clip. That was the only good part of
the entire I did. I did like Ghidorah dropping
Godzilla from space, from literal space was pretty sick,
honestly. I mean, just all the all the
fights are good. All the fights are good.
But the plot of that movie was just oh, no, Yeah, and the
acting was and the pacing was. They should have just removed
(18:23):
the plot entirely and just had it given us the 20 minutes of
the. Yeah.
Drew says. I like the conspiracy theorist
podcaster and Godzilla versus Kong and the Hollow Earth was
amazing. Yeah, that was, that was fun.
No complaints for Godzilla versus Kong.
If that's your. If that's your answer there.
Absolutely. Yeah.
(18:44):
Looks like we have a couple different votes for Godzilla -1
Godzilla versus Kong has a vote.Adam Huddle asks.
Honestly, haven't watched Rings of Power, Is it worth watching?
I really like, really like the hosts in the chat.
I think. I think you have to decide for
(19:05):
yourself if you want to have funor if you want to be mad.
And some people just want to be mad.
So if you want to be mad, then don't watch it.
If you want to have fun, then watch it.
All right? I think we're caught up in
everything. Oh, then back to your list.
So back to the list mid. I have not seen midway.
(19:27):
Dark Knight obviously is worthy of being on here.
Rogue Nation obviously worthy ofbeing on here.
Although as you know, as of course for you, I think I ranked
it third. Did I rank it third on my list?
There is either 3rd or 4th. I really love.
Did you think I you went 375 or did you go 357?
I don't remember. I thought I went three.
(19:50):
Or did you go 473-754-3754, the top?
OK, top list. We'll.
Have to go double check, but that sounds right.
Yeah, I think you. I think you were pretty high on
7, you know? Did you ever request the chat?
I really need to hear how you guys celebrate at Policy Day.
That's true. A little bit disappointed that
(20:13):
we haven't already gotten some. Like, I appreciate you showing
up to the live stream, but yeah. But we also thought you were
going to, you know? Thought you were going to
celebrate Ed Policy Day? Don't leave me hanging.
I celebrated hardcore for three days.
We went out on the boat, smoked some stogies, had some bonfires,
played with the kids, ran around, got ice cream, went for
(20:34):
a couple hikes, made brat burgers, beef burgers, we had
Turkey burgers. You know, the whole the whole
shebang. So.
So what? Yeah, my wife made this cracked
pasta, which is freaking amazing.
Did I like the Godzilla movie in98 with Matthew Broderick?
I liked it because of Matthew Broderick.
(20:55):
That thing was not Godzilla. That thing was just AT Rex.
It's a good movie. It is actually.
It's certainly not a Godzilla movie.
It's not much better than Kick of the Monsters.
So Questioned. It's a great movie.
It's just not a Godzilla movie. So, you know, but I'm, I'm also
not going to sit there like while I'm watching just, oh,
(21:16):
that's stupid, That's not Godzilla.
I'm just not going to rank it. That's all.
That's all. If you're asking me to put
together a list of Godzilla movies and rank, you're going to
have to do it eventually. Again, I'll give it a rating.
I just won't rank it among otherGodzilla movies because it's not
a Godzilla movie. So totally agrees.
But with you, here's the thing. I freaking love Matthew
Broderick. You're going to you're.
Hard pressed to find Matthew Broderick movie that I'm not
(21:39):
going to sit. There and enjoy.
I'm looking at them just in case.
There's one I didn't think of yet that I don't enjoy.
I had to look them up so far. So far, I don't see anything.
He's even great in Lion King. Yeah.
Inspector Gadget tier one. Yeah, just best Inspector
(22:02):
Gadget. Lion King.
OK. I mean, obviously, you know, why
are we discussing Lion King in the year of our Lord 2025?
But I mean, that's one of those movies.
You go back and it's like shocking how star-studded that
cast is. Oh, I know.
I mean you even. It's crazy.
They even had Benson, Robert Guillaume playing Rafiki, like
(22:27):
one of the most minor charactersin the whole thing.
That's right. It's crazy good.
So we we have a a couple of fun things.
Yes, we do to do tonight. So you haven't seen the Midway's
the 1 Midway and Parasite. You haven't seen, Right.
Those are the two on there. You haven't seen.
I've seen everything else on here.
I don't know what Midnight or Parasite are even about.
(22:49):
Midway is about World War 2, right?
Battle Midway. That figures.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Parasite I, I, I, I think you, I
think you will enjoy it. I do, right.
As a betting, as a betting man, I, I have a good buddy bite
20/19/2019 I have 4 movies from 2019 on air.
(23:12):
You know, that was a that was a good year for movies and it was
that was kind of the last year for good movies for a while.
Yeah. Which, you know, fair.
I mean that's it's kind of it's the last, you know, good a lot
of things for a while, as they say.
So I got I put it on my list. So I I currently have 5 movies
on my watch list. One from is the 2024 live action
(23:36):
Mufasa. So that's funny.
Oh, there you go. I keep forgetting about.
That there you go. So all right, and.
Then all right, let's. Here we go.
We can get that out of there. All right, so we got if you want
that link to put your list together, but let me know on
Twitter and I I'll do that for you.
Yeah, if you'll later, if you'llDM that list to me, I want to
(23:59):
put you on my my list and I'll I'll share it with you.
Maybe maybe I won't share it with you.
Maybe I will save it for next week.
There you go and let the chat like.
Yeah, unless chat. If you don't want to see it, let
me know. Mama says The Secret Life of
Walter Mitty deserves consideration.
That's a. Freaking good movie.
That's good. There's, there's, I'm telling
you, when you start putting it together, you it's tough.
(24:20):
It's hard to do. I was, I sat around for like
3035 minutes, like looking for like, is this too?
Like there was 'cause there was so many that are like so close
to the century mark that like you look up and you go oops,
it's not there. So it must be 9899, something
like that. So it's quite good.
I feel like before next week I need to watch the movie
(24:43):
Paddington 2 'cause I have heardfrom every human on the planet
that Paddington 2 is like elite.I didn't see the first
Paddington. I read some books when I was a
kid. I did not see the first
Paddington movie. But everybody says that
Paddington 2 is like the most underrated film of all time.
So I feel like I need to watch it before I put this together.
I haven't seen it. I've seen the first one, but
(25:07):
I've not seen the second one. So Daryl Azian says new movies
nowadays just ain't cutting it, especially if they remake the
original movie that was recentlyfilmed.
Here's the thing, I'm kind of always down to try something.
Oh yeah, you know, I, I certainly have my beefs.
(25:28):
But if something is well writtenand well acted, you know, I
mean, I, I can look past, you know, some iffy special effects.
I'm a huge special effects buff, you know, I just freaking just
nerd out on compositing and, andeverything and really get super
(25:50):
geeked about rendering and practical effects and puppetry
and dolls and all that stuff. And I, I can ignore all that.
If you can put together good writing and good acting, the the
story doesn't even have to be that good.
Well, you know, you can. Some of the best movies ever had
no story at all, but the conversational writing was just
(26:14):
God tear, Drew says the Supermanmovie.
This upcoming Superman movie is made by James Gunn, who made
Guardians of the Galaxy, Peacemaker and some other big
movies. I think he was.
I think Drew's the one who said he was looking forward to that.
And then Dershow said that Paddington 2 is a top five
(26:36):
sequel ever, which is kind of a low bar.
There's not a lot of good sequels out there.
Yeah, that's why I was looking up.
I had to remind myself. Dirchell had right here.
He's got it. And I think these are really
good right here. Terminator 2 is definitely one
of them. Yeah, Terminator 2 is a
guarantee. Terminator 2 now, Paddington 2
notwithstanding, since I haven'tseen it, Terminator 2 is the
(26:58):
only inclusion on this list thatI was at all iffy about in terms
of like, it's deserving of beingin the in the top five.
Paddington, too. I'd love that.
All right, I'll hold on, hold on.
It has to be a second film. It has to be a second film.
(27:19):
Like I know it has to be some ofthem, some of them are, you
know, like the third Harry Potter movie, which I would be
with that. It's better.
I would agree that it's it's better, right?
I think it's a great movie relative to the 1st 2:00 but
it's not it's not a sequel. It it, it we've gone past it.
We can't. So yeah, it has to be the the
second movie, otherwise Mission Impossibles would all count.
(27:40):
And then, well, this is what I wanted to ask you a long time.
This is what I wanted to ask you.
So gun to your head, So you've not seen Paddington 2, right?
No. So gun to your head, if you had
to include as the 5th best sequel of all time, either
Paddington 2 or Mission Impossible two.
Well, you don't get any other choices prop.
(28:01):
I mean, I, I would guess it would be, you know, I would
guess it would be Paddington 2 just based on what everybody
else is saying about it, right? Like I, I, I do love all the
other inclusions. I was trying to think of another
one that gosh, Paddington 2 is 99% on Rotten Tomatoes.
(28:25):
That's nuts. I could, I could get down with
Catching Fire, Hunger Games. I could see that.
I don't know about the second Sherlock Holmes.
That seems not that I didn't like it, but I don't think
(28:46):
that's. I don't think that's better.
Winter Soldier was a great inclusion.
Yeah. Empire.
Yeah, this, this, but Godfather 2.
Godfather 2, That's the one I wasn't thinking of.
Yeah, that's right. I I got one.
I wonder one that turned down there.
OK, I'm going to Empire Strikes Back.
This is not in order, but EmpireStrikes Back, Two Towers, Winter
(29:07):
Soldier, The Dark Knight. Oh, that's clever and Spider Man
2, the Doc Aqua oh oh Oh yeah, that's Dark Knight is a that's a
(29:29):
great shout because it does count.
Wow, John Wick too. Is this coach Len?
I contemplated like Toy Story 2,but and then drew Drew said
aliens, which is certainly oh, Top Gun maverick.
(29:51):
Top Gun Maverick is I haven't seen is S tier.
It's S tier, but I'm I'm puttingit below the five.
I just said for sure, man, really OK, I know people like
that. I have that.
I started watching it like 10 minutes in and the Internet cut
out. I need to finish Top Gun
Maverick Indiana Jones ones are interesting.
That's that's another one. I think that was brought up
(30:12):
coach last crusade is Part 3. Part 2 is Temple of doom.
That's right, it is. Look at this.
Look at this too old for this isunderailing us.
He says happy Ed policy day. Are we getting into Ed policy
now? Is that what we're doing?
Are we going after that? Are we going after this
(30:34):
underailed us? We're going after a trip tool
for this. You got you got reference
already a couple times. I just remembered is that a
segment we're doing X2 X-Men United?
Oh, oh, I didn't think about that.
That's like number six or seven.Oh, I didn't think about that at
(30:56):
all. Interesting.
Yeah. Yo, when you search some of
these, when you search sequels better, they're bringing up, as
I said earlier, they're bringingup third movies and 4th ones.
Yeah, we're not doing that. No, no, no, we're not.
We're not doing that. So would you disagree with
Empire Strikes Back being the single best sequel of all time
(31:19):
'cause I I, I, I will die on that hill.
I if you're including Dark Knight, No, but I think you
think Dark Knight is better thanEmpire.
Yeah, I would probably have it higher.
We say 1A1B Yeah. No, I I'm totally fine with
that. I'm good with that.
I I probably would have said it if you hadn't that jogged by
Beverly of Dark Knight because it just doesn't like have Oh,
(31:43):
that's that was oh, that's such a good one.
Yeah, there's there is a boatload of Batman movies, but
that was that trilogy. The yeah, the Chris Nolan,
Christopher Nolan trilogy. It it it certainly is a stand
alone. It's not.
And like the how Holland Spider Man movies would also be the
(32:03):
second one with Mysterio would be a sequel to the first one.
It's just in a different terrible sequel.
It wasn't good, but you know, that would be 1.
Look at this look at look at tool for this and Paul sees the
Lord of the rings of trilogies. That's that's what we're doing.
(32:28):
I like that because Mark Murphy is the Star Wars of trilogies.
He's the gift that keeps there you go.
There you go, there you go. So we did.
We did have a few things prepared to talk about tonight
there football related. Are we doing the Ed policy
segment yet? Do we are we doing that first?
(32:50):
Are we going to wait till the end?
Are we going to, well, the, the chat's not talking about what
they did for Ed policy today. I already talked about what they
did for Ed policy today. I don't, I don't know where to
go with this. Do you have something to talk
about for Ed policy today? I would love it if you do.
And there's not something to talk about necessarily, But I, I
have something that if we're going to really kind of cap
this, if we're going to cap the celebration at the end, then
(33:12):
I'll leave it at the end. No, let's do it now, Let's do it
now. I want, I want to see what you
got. And maybe it'll, maybe it'll
fire the chat to you. No, no, I think we got to do it
at the end. I think we got to do it at the
end. I think it works.
It was either going to work right at the beginning or right
at the end. So any, anybody who does not
(33:32):
show up right at the beginning of our podcast, you may maybe
don't know our theme song. Yes, which is, which is called
the Legend of Ed policy. What'd you say?
It is called that? Yeah.
So I've I was working all week on a music video for it and I
just couldn't get it done in time but I it'll be delivered.
(33:55):
Eventually. Maybe, maybe for next week.
There we go. Honestly, can I, can I admit
something? I was partying too hard
celebrating Ed Policy day to finish my Ed policy music video.
That's actually the truth. That's fair, that's that's the
only excuse I'll give. Not even watching a Godzilla
movie could get you out of that. But to parting too hard for Ed
(34:20):
Policy day definitely counts as an excuse tool for this.
Says so modern Disney Star Wars is what happens if Mark Murphy
stays past 70. Let's just not find out what
happens if Mark Murphy stays past 70.
What do we count modern Rogue One and and or count if so?
I think so. I mean, there's like there's
there's some good, there's some bad, there's there's rogue One
(34:44):
and there's the rise of Skywalker, right?
You know, there's Andor and there's there's that one Star
Wars show that I didn't watch Acolyte talking about.
I was, yeah, I was looking forward to that.
And then I just, I was busy the the first day it came out and I
got on Twitter and people were just lighting it up and saying
(35:06):
it was like the worst thing ever.
And I was like, you know, I sat through Rise of Skywalker.
I don't need any more bad Star Wars.
So I'm just gonna trust the crowd on this one.
I never, never watched it. Yeah.
But everybody makes mistakes, you know?
No, everybody has not everybody has holidays.
Holidays special that never happened.
He spent a lot of money to make sure that it doesn't exist
(35:26):
anymore. Except for that one YouTube
video tool for this. Wants to know why there was no
show yesterday. Yeah, I something came up.
Can't, can't say what. It wasn't on my end this time.
Oh, my gosh. Oh, this is really good.
Tyler Dirchell somehow taught returns.
(35:46):
Gosh, that's good. That's good.
Ted Thompson gave U.S. star TrekDiscovery.
Mark Murphy doesn't need to giveus new star.
Wars, all right. Love our chat.
Our chat is just has poppin. This is what we needed it to be.
So Drew wants to talk about the blockbuster trade between the
Dolphins and the Steelers. I I'm just going to come out and
(36:08):
say this is the worst NFL trade since the Deshaun Watson trade.
I can't think of another one that's happened since then.
That was Osweiler. That was way before.
Give us. We'll we'll take.
We will give your second. You can have our second.
Just take him. Is is perhaps the most comical
(36:29):
of them. Yeah, this was interesting to
say the least. Yeah.
So the so the Steelers traded like the roughly about a top the
top five best safety in the NFL and a sixth round pick for Jalen
freaking Ramsey in the year of our lore 2025 Jonnu Smith and a
(36:54):
seventh round pick. So they gave up.
They gave up the the better pickand the better player for washed
up Jalen Ramsey and Jonnu Smith. It is a fifth round for a
seventh round. So the pick swap is a two round.
What pick swap? It is a two round up pick swap.
Yes, that is, that is disgusting.
(37:15):
I, I have a dear friend of mine who's a huge Steelers fan and I
told him that it was a 6th. I think he, he has been probably
better that he doesn't know. I, I think he's got his
therapist on speed dial right now.
I'm, I'm a little concerned thathe might be looking for nearby
bridges right now. This is, it's awful.
(37:35):
May I say that if there's anything to glean from this,
it's this draft Caleb Johnson inyour fantasy leagues.
That's the deal. Do it.
They might be in 13 personnel running the ball with Washington
prime youth and Johnny and DK isjust the X like that that I'm
(37:58):
dead serious. They probably are going to be
doing that. So draft Caleb Johnson if you
learn nothing else from this podtoday.
There was also a follow up trade.
The Dolphins this morning tradedwith the Giants for the retired
(38:18):
Darren Waller. And look, I don't ever turn on
the TV and listen to the Talkingheads on, you know, all the
stupid shows. I don't even know what what
shows there are 'cause I don't watch them.
I never have them. I'm sure that they are hyping up
this Darren Waller thing as though it's actually meaningful.
This is wild that that they evendid this.
(38:40):
I feel like I they already have hold on Coach Lynn says Ramsay
provides some versatility in thesecond day.
I think I think they're gonna try to play him some safety.
I'm pretty sure they're gonna have to, but they're down
grading from like the roughly the 6th best safety in the
league probably ish depending on, you know, I'm not far off by
(39:02):
calling him the 6th. No, for a converted washed up
Jalen Ramsey, who hasn't been good.
He hasn't been good since like his second to last year with the
Rams. And he he fell off before he
went to Miami. That's why they let him.
Yeah, that's why they let him go.
I mean, the, the, the Rams were trying like the Dickens a year
(39:26):
before they end up moving on from him to find a trade partner
stupid enough to take him because he was already washed.
It's it, this is just such a dumb move.
I just, I, I don't know what Omar Khan is doing over there in
Pittsburgh, but the only thing that makes any sense to me is
(39:49):
that maybe there's something wrong with Minka.
I'm just saying that because we've seen the Steelers move on
from players who we didn't know were locker room cancers until
they left Pittsburgh. It's like several Times Now.
They've done it twice. Yeah, this offseason.
It's the only thing I can think of.
(40:09):
I mean, PFF was not kind to makea Fitzpatrick this last year.
He's so worth more than Jalen Ramsey.
Jalen's terrible at this point, probably.
You know what? So I'm not even sure that I
would want Jalen Ramsey on the Packers.
And you know that I think our cornerback room is trash.
(40:32):
No, I'd. I'd probably take him.
I'd probably take him. Would you would you trade?
Try to think who would be the best comp for Minka on our team.
We don't. Based on last season.
(40:53):
Yeah. Based on last season.
There's a class. Based on the last two seasons.
Oh, it has to be two. Well, like, you know, roughly
that much. That's fair too over that says
would you trade Xavier McKinney?Oh, wait, wait, Drew says yeah,
neither one of these teams wanted gyre.
(41:15):
I mean, no, the something that'sbetter in the division wanted
gyre. So Pittsburgh?
Shocking, let me tell you. Oh, yeah, yeah.
I, I, I think, yeah. I mean Miami.
(41:37):
No, I, I do have another thing for us to do here.
Yeah. I wouldn't trade.
I wouldn't trade Xavier McKinneyfor Minka.
No way. No thank you.
No thank you. I asked on Twitter.
I asked the lovely fans to rate each of our defensive tackles
(42:02):
and each of our quarterbacks because I just want to see where
the fan base was at. Baltimore ate him for lunch,
Minka, last year. It's tough, actually.
It seems all the good teams did, which is kind of tough to look
at here other than maybe, I don't know, I guess Kansas City,
(42:23):
Cincinnati late in the season, but I don't know.
All right, so he's not the 6th best safety in the league.
I mean, before this year, yeah. I think again, it's PFF grades.
It's one part of the equation. I know he's maybe been a little
bit unhappy of what the defense is doing for his role
specifically. So again, that could be part of
(42:44):
the trade as well. But I just don't know what Jalen
Ramsey brings to their defense aslot.
Like, to me, this trade is more understandable about Jonnu Smith
than it is about Jay and Ramsey.Yeah, the.
I mean, the Jonnu thing made sense.
(43:05):
They were trying to do that for a while.
They want him there. This Arthur Smith loves Jonnu.
They made a bunch of offers for Jonnu.
Yeah. So it it's not shocking.
It was more shocking. It was like when Ramsay got
announced first, it was like, oh, wait, it's.
So it's not Jonnu. They don't.
They didn't get Jonnu. They got they got Ramsay
instead. And lo and behold, it's both.
(43:27):
Listen, I don't know if either of these teams are making the
playoffs, so it kind of feels like a moot point even, you
know, dive heavily into this trade, right?
Like, I do feel like I don't feel like I have my finger on
the pulse of where the Dolphins are right now.
I didn't I had I hadn't considered they have like fallen
off to that point. I just don't, I don't know.
(43:48):
I, I, they're, they, they've at least now tried again with
building the trenches a little bit more in the draft.
But like, I don't know, I, I think they're just poor
commitments at offensive line have just continued to catch up
with them. Like Pittsburgh, it was catching
up with them a few years ago andthey've decided to spend a bunch
(44:08):
of capital there, which they should have been doing for a
long time. And I feel like Miami's in that
boat that Pittsburgh was in. So that makes sense.
That makes sense. That's and and there's this and
to what you just hope is and prey is going to be healthy,
which is the other problem with not addressing offensive line
(44:30):
and they can get a massive priority.
So yeah, I don't, I don't know. And and Coach Lin asking if
Ramsey will play in the slot. He definitely will.
They're yeah, they're going to have Porter and Slavey, their
perimeter guys and, and Ramsey will probably play slots and
maybe and maybe rotate to some box safety as well.
So that's yeah, they're they're probably going to do a lot of
that. They extended to Sean Elliott.
(44:52):
So I know they want him to be a major factor on the back end.
So Thornhill, it's Thornhill andElliott, yeah.
And then Sleigh Porter and Ramsey and I I think that
sleigh, I think sleigh, sleigh and Ramsey are both like just
north of terrible right now. Sleigh it it, it was, I mean,
Philly, Philly reloaded, right. Mitchell de Jean and said, yeah,
(45:17):
we're good. We don't need slay anymore.
And I I feel like if the if you know, arguably, you know, maybe
maybe not put them at the top, but arguably the best GM in
football right now. If if they're moving on, they
they know they they they know it's time.
So yeah, it does it it it does feel like a very Aaron Rodgers E
roster right now with some bets on there.
(45:39):
Ursula says Musgrave for Washington, who says no.
I mean I'm like kind of fine with it I guess.
I'd obviously would rather have Friar move but I I wouldn't hate
adding Washington. He's he's turned into a pretty
nice blocker. 6th old line let Craft cook as a pass catcher.
It would at least give you that. But yes, I would also prefer
(46:04):
Friar youth because I feel it's way more interchangeable and it
makes your offense very fun staying in 12 with those two
guys. The problem is the Janu is Janu
is obviously not a firemouth replacement.
He's a he's a Darnell Washingtonreplacement.
(46:28):
Well, I no, he won't block Janu blocks.
You don't like Janu as a blocker?
No, no, I mean, there's a reasonMiami was using him as a
receiver in the quick game and all that stuff, because he's
just not like he's he's built tobe a big receiver, definitely
(46:48):
built for that part of the game.No question.
They have Washington and Frymouth to block.
They're going to use Janu in 13 as their quote UN quote wide
receiver too. And then look, I I would take
Frymouth. I just don't think that you can
I I'm I think it would take a lot to go get him.
Oh yeah, I mean, first of all, first of all, they're not doing
(47:14):
a must Gray for Friarmouth swap that even the guy who just
created a nice cut and 1/5 for Janu and Jalen is not falling
for that. They need a nice pick for that.
Yeah, I think Friarmouth is probably a fifth, maybe a
fourth, probably a fourth. What would you say?
(47:35):
What? Just Friarmouth 4th round pick
or the 5th. I mean, he signed a four year,
$48.4 million extension last year.
That's a fourth round pick. They're paying him pretty hefty.
Yeah, I don't think it could be any higher, but yeah, they're
going to have to green. If Green Bay was going to try to
make that move and add Musgrave to the deal, they would
(47:56):
definitely have to add a pic of that caliber.
So Jake, you had a request for something we could do tonight
and that was a a return of something that we had a lot of
fun with a year ago, which was the wheel of blind ranking.
(48:24):
Yes. So I have this pulled up really
quick, 22 quick things here. Coastland, just just because
it's a final point. We've been talking about all the
tight ends. He asked, would you trade
Musgrave for Michael Mayer in Vegas?
What do you mean? Would you?
What does would you mean? He asked.
(48:45):
Would you? Would you do that?
Yes. Oh, no, he said.
Musgrave and LVN, no tool for this, did say that.
Coach Lynn said Musgrave for mayor.
Would you trade Musgrave for Myers?
He meant mayor. I know.
I I think it's got to be who that is.
This is like, would I trade Jacoby or does he talk about
Jacoby Myers? Would I, would I trade Malik
(49:05):
Willis for Patrick Mahomes? Like Mayer is freaking elite and
Musgrave I don't think has a role on the team that Mayer's
not elite. You thinking of his his
teammate. Who's his teammate?
Bowers. I'm thinking of Bowers.
(49:25):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So I I, I don't know, I don't
mind there. He's going to give you more
inline stuff than Musgrave would, which again, a lot of I
have zero opinion on Michael Mayer because I was, I was our
guy at cook. I was picturing Brock Bowers.
I know that's fair. That's so so item for the
Raiders. That's I mean, that's where you
(49:46):
got to go. Here you go.
So tool for this. There's Musgrave for Bowers.
Yeah, you could talk me into it.You could, I guess I would do
it. You could.
Talk to him. What else are the Raiders giving
me? Throw a sweetener in there.
Yeah, a little Ashton Genti, Brock Powers.
I will say, oh, I have somethingelse we could talk about too.
(50:09):
That was sent to me a little bitago, but we'll let's go to.
Yeah, OK. Coach was talking about Mayor.
I I forgot about Jacoby Myers and I was wondering if that's
what he was talking about as well.
But I feel like a receiver is pretty full.
Yeah. Mayor made more sense because I
know I thought Miami would go after Mayor because of the hole
at tight end. So they went after Darren
Waller, which is, you know, kindof adding Jonnu Smith, but not
(50:32):
as good. I I truly, I don't know, as I
briefly said, what I don't know what Waller does at at his age
right now that Nick Westbrook, Akina isn't going to give that
team essentially. So, yeah, I don't know it
Miami's offense seemed to be better when they could run the
(50:53):
ball better out of the sets, that they could get into the
quick passing game, which meant having an inline tight end who
can block like at a really high level.
And they they really don't have that.
It's gonna be like Julian Hill this year, which, Yeah.
Anyway, anyway, we've talked a lot about Miami and Pittsburgh.
Very exciting teams. Yes, of course.
(51:15):
Yeah, of course. The the the two 7:00 and 9:00
the AFC teams that we only play one of them this year.
We don't play the Dolphins this year, do we?
No, played them last year, embarrassed them Thanksgiving
night. That was Jacobs carry the Turkey
off the field. Love that.
(51:35):
That was one of the better gamesof the year.
Maybe the best game of the year. Here we have the Wheel of Blind
ranking. So this is brought back by
special request of Mr. Jake Schuvank.
So if you weren't here for it last year, if you if you don't,
if you weren't here for last year, we're gonna spin the
(51:58):
wheel. Jake has to slot the team that
it lands on somewhere one through 5 and predict where
they're gonna finish. Cool.
But it says would it be awesome if Talon's first career year
below 500 is worth? I'm pretty sure it's going to be
I think it would make me sad because I like Mike Tomlin so
much, but I think it's going to happen again.
(52:20):
The the ceiling and Pittsburgh. We know what it is is 10 and
seven lose wild card game by 20,right.
Like that's that's the ceiling. Yeah, maybe to the Browns, mate,
but mate, more likely to like the Baltimore Buffalo non buy
recipient, which is tough. It's going to be it's going to
be Baltimore or Cleveland or maybe just the chips fall right
(52:43):
for Cincy and they stay healthy and somehow it all works.
That maybe, yeah, Rodgers looks Coke.
I read it as caked. I'm just, I'm going to say it as
caked because that's how I read it the first time.
Rodgers looks caked out of his mind and all his team picks.
I don't know what's going on with his eyeball.
I don't know. He's got something wrong with
his eye infection or something. His eye is doing weird things
(53:03):
right now. But he's been trash talking the
Bears, which I could be all thatcould be all that I Alaska, I
think everybody just clicked offand we'll see you.
There it is. We on the same page two weeks in
a row. All right, the wheel is
(53:23):
spinning, Jake. Whichever team it lands on, you
have to rank them one through 5.You don't know who the other
four teams are going to be. You got to predict their finish.
I wanted the Giants because I knew where I was going to put
them. OK, where is Houston going?
Houston was a part of this last year.
(53:43):
May I say I remember the five teams last year.
Do you remember them? The Rams?
Yep. The Packers, Yes.
The Texans? Yep.
I don't remember the other two. Detroit and Pittsburgh, all
(54:05):
playoff teams. So that was interesting.
That's that was kind of wild. So the order wasn't totally off.
I think I had I think I had Lions, Rams, Packers, Texans,
Steelers, which isn't the worst.Packers would have obviously
been behind Houston. They didn't win the division.
Houston moved to the divisional round.
(54:26):
But it was, I mean, it wasn't bad, but Houston, I forgot the
Rams made the playoffs last year.
Yeah, they were the one that they pushed Philly the limit the
most. I'm going to put Houston at
three. I think they're a playoff team.
Maybe they make a step forward this year, pass the division
around. But I'm not.
I'm not totally sold. Will that get me in trouble?
(54:48):
We'll see. It didn't last year.
Last year, I got some real nice luck on this on this wheel.
Oh, Hashtag. It's not rigged.
I promise. The Packers.
Where are you ranking the Packers this year?
Oh, Hashtag. The think, I know Green Bay.
Are we going to run it back? That would be hilarious.
(55:11):
I mean, we're 2 for two. We're going to get the other
three teams. We have to restart this.
Green Bay's riding on a lot. They they need a lot of steps
forward from a lot of guys. Oh, man, You know what?
(55:33):
Just just because I would love to come back here and get
ridiculed, let's put them at 4:00.
That's where I thought you were putting them.
Here comes Cleveland or something.
Cleveland would be hard to rank there.
There you go. There's five.
There's five for the for the folks.
(55:54):
This is just not going to go well.
They're going to be competing for the number one overall
should have put by the way, I should a second.
I mean, Dang it, this is not good.
Do you remember you remember on this?
Who did who did I scream all last year?
Tennessee, the number one pick Tennessee.
(56:15):
I called I did called that nothing but and I was and I was
a year too early just a year early with my call last year
'cause I do think that that teamis going to get it this time
around all right and we have thebeeps.
Thank you so much. You got it saved.
Oh you all It was almost the Seahawks.
(56:36):
OK, I'm going to bank on something big here.
I'm putting them at 2 all right,Cleveland brown.
This list could look really stupid in one second here.
Oh, it definitely could, but I'm, I'm banking on it being
Buffalo or Philly. You drink Buffalo ahead of the
Chiefs. Seattle.
That's tough. That's tough, brutal.
(57:00):
You know what, you get what you deserve.
Because if you had put the Chiefs at one and the Seahawks
at 2, I think it would have beenno, I, I still think it would
have been pretty bad either way.I needed to put Houston at 2.
That was, that was the I, I saidthat at the beginning.
That's tough. That's tough.
Honestly, if Jalen Millrol cooks, if Jalen Millrol cooks as
(57:29):
a rookie, I think it could happen.
It's not going to be Darnold. It's not going to be Darnold if,
but if, if Jalen Millrol can cook.
I honestly, I if, if, if JJ, if you were asked me to rank this
right after seeing all the teams, how do you think I would
rank this? I think that the only change you
(57:52):
would make is you probably wouldput the Seahawks either 3rd or
4th. I think that's the only change
you'd make. It is not the only change I
make. I would put Seattle at 4:00.
However, I think I would put Houston at one, Kansas City at
2, and Green Bay at 3. Interesting.
I think KC might be in for an interesting awakening this time
(58:15):
around. They won a lot of close games
last year. That close game regression to
the mean is going to happen. They're going to have to play
better football. Left tackle, massive issue.
I think they will play better football.
Patellar tendon. Patellar tendon, left tackle.
Packers, the Packers and the Chiefs last year had like
(58:38):
hilariously horrible offenses. And it was not really super
explainable why their offenses were playing so poorly.
So I mean, yeah, if if you thinkit's going to be the exact same
team running it back, then yeah, you, you know, you're going to
regress to the mean. I think their offense is going
to improve because I think they're, I think both the
(59:01):
Packers and Chiefs offenses had no excuses for being as bad as
they were. I just feel like the Chiefs have
gotten worse on the offensive line.
I think Kelsey, I just don't. Are we going to get some like
resurrection this year in terms of the production?
I don't see it. Now.
(59:22):
Maybe Rashid Rice takes that andhe kind of becomes that, which I
think is is kind of their key. I think that would, but that
again means Worthy has to do more for them on the boundary.
Are they going to be able to runit as well without Toonie?
They don't have the three heads in the middle anymore.
(59:42):
Are they going to be OK being able to do that?
Do I love the defense? I love Spags, but you know, I
think I, I think there's some some some things I'm not loving
right now about them where I would feel Super Bowl loser
hangovers are real. It is true.
We haven't seen that for the Chiefs, though.
(01:00:03):
The Chiefs have been unless you're the Chiefs or the
Patriots really the last 20 years, it's not really.
Yes I agree but other than that like Philly loses to the Chiefs.
And they just had an epic meltdown at the end of at the
end of the season before, right and, and San Francisco injuries,
contract stuff, all of that, right?
(01:00:23):
The the hangover certainly happened.
McCaffrey going down did not help them.
IU going down did not help them. They they lost a lot.
So yes, it, it is doable. It is Chiefs, though, But I, I I
would probably stick with that if I got to change them.
Are you going JJ? I am going to go, but I wanted I
wanted you to weigh in Should I so we removed the five teams
that you ranked. Should I re spin the same wheel
(01:00:46):
with those teams removed or should I reset the wheel?
I think you should reset it all right, so I got to also reset my
tier maker then. Oh shoot, I.
Got to do. This delete I did something fun
(01:01:06):
a day or two ago. I found a tier maker list that
had every pro sports team and all of the FBS college teams as
well all in the same 1. And so I, I did have to create a
(01:01:26):
tier of who the heck is this? And it was mostly like the
international soccer teams. I, I, there was like 30 logos.
I, I, I had no idea what they were at all.
And then there was also one weird yellow duck logo that I'd
never seen before in my life. Other than that, I ranked
(01:01:47):
everything else and I had a lot of fun doing it.
Nice. But it took me, it took me to
that for freaking ever. It was like to say that's a lot.
That's a lot of teams to go through too older for this, as
being a Bears fan is a tear maker.
No, Drew, it wasn't Oregon. It was somebody else.
Other cartoon yellow duck Jay. Great.
(01:02:09):
Are you saying you think you know what it is?
I think so. Unless I'm losing my mind, it's
oh, something crazy. Maybe it wasn't a duck.
Maybe it was just a bird. Oh, oh, oh, it's is it Southern
(01:02:32):
Miss? I don't see it on here.
It's not Southern Miss. I mean, I guess I could.
The Golden Eagles. I think it was like a cartoon.
(01:02:53):
Though. Oh, wait a minute, it was a cart
yellow cartoon bird that was like twisted up and then angling
like southwest, like his beak was pointing southwest and then
his Oh, he doesn't have a pointing northeast.
No Cape. I don't remember a Cape.
What? Oh, this isn't a bird, though.
(01:03:14):
The Tulsa golden hurricane lookshas like an old logo that looks
like a it's got a little cyclonetype of guy.
No, these were all these were all current.
Logos. Oh, oh, it could be the the the
hens. The hens from Delaware.
No. Aren't the Blue Hens?
(01:03:37):
Oh, they are the Blue Hens, but it still might be that's pretty
close. Hey, we're going to find the
tier list that's. Not it.
(01:04:03):
Oh, it was a funny name. It was something like way too
many teams or something like that.
Well, we'll think about it. I think you should make your
think. You should make your picks with
the blind wheel. They call American sports.
(01:04:23):
Lots of sports teams. This is the one.
There's 269 teams to rank on here.
OK, this is the This is the tearmaker.
Whoa. Oh, look, here is this thing
right here. What's that?
So he's pointing SE. I don't know what that is.
Let's zoom in. What?
Is that gosh that? Has to be that.
(01:04:46):
Has to be football. No, you would.
Think. It's gotta be right.
What is? And then I put the Florida
Panthers in here 'cause I just, I found their logo annoying.
So I I do know what the Florida Panthers are, but I just found
their logo annoying. So their old logo is way better.
(01:05:07):
Their old logo is so much better.
Yeah. I don't know what that is.
Be honest. I think it's funny that my tears
are still there. This one.
Yeah, that has a way better. Logo.
Holy cow. Yeah, yeah, that new one is
trash. Yeah, this looks like a This
looks like Nua logo. It does look like now.
(01:05:30):
Yeah. Too old for this.
Wants to know if this is a fish.I don't know what it is.
It's a there's a beak. There's a beak.
Maybe it is, but like, I don't know.
Croc would probably know. JJ is while you're doing this,
(01:05:56):
is there a team you're hoping toget as an EZ pass?
The Saints, the Titans, you know, are you hoping for?
I don't know about EZ Pass, but like I would like to you want to
use grok for that I can get. Grok.
I guess I don't use rock. Grok doesn't know.
(01:06:21):
Whoa, Grok doesn't even know. It's tough.
What logo is this? Man help me.
Incredible if they just don't. Oh my gosh, GPT doesn't know
either. Maybe CSU Bakersfield?
(01:06:45):
No, because CSUB was on there already.
No, it is. That's what it is.
What? I have it CSUB.
Yeah. That's it, that's our guy.
Wow, that's our guy. You know, it makes a lot more
(01:07:06):
sense when you get the full body, though.
Just the head doesn't quite do it, but it looks weird.
But that's somebody's going to clip down, take it out of
context. Yep, for sure.
OK is there a team I'm hoping toget?
I would enjoy ranking the Packers.
Sure sure. If you haven't noticed, I like
to talk about the Packers. I have a lot of Packers opinions
(01:07:29):
for sure. This is Packers podcast.
Of course knew it was a Roadrunner.
Nailed it. There we go see I that's Yeah, I
thought he was. I have learned to trust Drew
when he says things. OK well, all right.
Have at it. Spin this so Team 10 got.
A Mute this after. This one, because it does like a
it does like a fireworks or something lovely.
(01:07:50):
We just talked about them. Where are they gonna go?
That's that is. Tough, you're kind of mute.
We should have done this with all of them.
We should have blind ranked. We should have blind ranked
everyone that yeah, or maybe even 2.
Maybe we should have unten. Maybe we should intend I mean we
(01:08:14):
can expand it to 10. I can just expand this to 10 and
then start with Miami. Then I should get it.
Then do I get a redo? Not a redo.
I get and again ask ask the chat32 team ranks would be fun.
Let the chat decide if you get aa redo of we could do the
together 32 team. That's I feel like that's a
(01:08:37):
whole episode. That probably is that probably
is Drew. Let's I'm going to start that.
We'll, we'll get to that one. I like, I kind of feel, I kind
of feel like you've got some space from Miami sponsored by
some super chats, some donos. There you go.
So Miami, where are we going to put Miami with 10?
(01:08:59):
Yeah, 2 is the whole problem. But they're going to keep
playing them. I'm going to put them at six.
Feels like a safe little cop out.
There you go. 6 it is for the Miami Dolphins.
Lets me disrespect some other teams too, even the Bears.
Oh. Colts is going to get Cleveland.
(01:09:20):
No, it's not. It's the Colts.
Who's who's their starter right now?
It's going to be Daniel Jones. I think that's a tech.
No, I'm going to do 9 'cause there, there could be, there
could be a Saints lurking around.
Yeah, but we got to be careful. I mean, there's a one in three
chance that I'm going to get thethe Giants.
I'm going to go 9 for Giant Saints.
(01:09:40):
I don't. I don't really regret that.
No, I don't mind it at all. Too old.
Too old. This says Miami doesn't have
John or Ramsey anymore. They're trash.
Oh, is Houston making his appearance again?
OK, I'm not as high. Where will they go, Houston as
you? Where will they go?
But I'll put them at 5. My problem is, is Houston
literally their their competition's very funny in the
(01:10:02):
division. Supposed to have Jacksonville's
bad again. Yeah, they're making the
playoffs. But are they winning a game?
There we go. There's 10.
Oh, man, I'm going to 8. Wow.
The Saints have made do with no quarterback for years now.
They stink. They're terrible.
(01:10:26):
No, you said eight, you said eight.
You said 8. Defense.
Crap, you said 8. It's old.
I think the Saints can do betterthan the Colts.
I don't think that's a high bar to clear.
I mean, you might be talking about like two wins.
I feel like. I feel like the team with the
number one overall pick to get Arch Manning is 8 right now.
(01:10:50):
Raiders. Gino is turning for the Raiders,
this is Pete Carroll. I can't do anything other than
7, but Gentie and Bowers cook. Falcons, this is brutal.
(01:11:18):
That's tough. That's tough.
I don't. I don't believe Houston.
Houston at five, baby, I got to put the Falcons at 4.
This is brutal. That it's not impossible, JJ.
It's not. I mean, they're closer to 4 than
they are at a 10 for sure. This is the only possible.
It's not impossible. Oh gosh.
(01:11:43):
Come on, come on, come on. Do it to him.
Do it to him. I'd I'd do it.
I would do it. Yeah, I would do.
I would do it. No Fear, No Fear.
This is the you have the hall ofmid right now pretty much It
(01:12:04):
really is. This is crazy.
I love that, though. I love it 4 through 9 is a bunch
of mid and then me doubting the Texans a bit, but I don't
actually doubt this that much. I love this.
I don't doubt the Texans that much.
It's a bunch of mid and then maybe a bad season for Texans
and then I'm I love this right now.
I love this. I, I, I love New England, man.
(01:12:27):
I mean for this list I mean. I I think the.
Chargers can finish better than anybody here.
Yeah. Yeah, that's not that's not too
hard to do. No, this is working out pretty
nicely. OK.
Now I'm terrified, though 'causewatch me get you have.
Oh, you have one in 10. Oh, my God.
I got one in 10 left. That's it.
Well, I mean, odds are you're going to get oh, there it is.
(01:12:50):
There it is. There it is.
See, and this thing's 'cause this is going to be tackers.
Who's going to be my backers? I just had to pick either one or
ten. I'm not tweeting this one out.
Yes, you must, you must. Oh, do it to him.
(01:13:11):
Oh my gosh. Oh my.
So I'm saved by a pixel. I got The Jets.
Wow. I mean, again, I don't think
this is bad at all. That's hey, this is what
happened to me. This is what happened to me last
(01:13:32):
year where I literally called it, I said we did the we did the
ranking, the team of the record prediction, right, JJ?
And then we did the oh, what arethey going to be in three years?
And then, and you were like, whyyou put Houston at 2:00?
And then I said, well, I'm just waiting for the Chiefs to pop
up. Then they popped up immediately
next, which was incredible. So that's it was J JS turn guys.
(01:13:56):
It was J JS turn to get a littlelittle help from the wheel.
I got. I think my only qualms is I
think maybe Vegas ends up betterthan the patriots.
But like again, it's a shame thepatriots do not have an
offensive line because if they did well, I also don't doubt the
Texans this much either. No, I like, but Texans and
(01:14:18):
Falcons and Patriots, they certainly could all be in the
same tier. I think the Patriots have a
rough road to the playoffs because they got Buffalo in that
division and they, you know, I don't think that Miami teams
lower, two teams lower. I think that AFC East rankings
are correct, by the way, 100% correct.
(01:14:39):
Patriots, Dolphins, Jets, 100% that's correct.
No notes drawing a blank on who The Jets quarterback even is
right now. Justin Fields.
Oh, that's right. Yeah, 10 is probably right for
them. I would probably I would
probably push Indy up to 8, The Jets up to 9 or Jets and Saints
(01:15:01):
910, I think. All right, so you, you, the
people voted to give you the shot at #10 redemption or at at
temp. Honestly, for the content, I
want this to be a horrible list.I want to get screwed over
multiple times. For the content, I want us to be
(01:15:21):
able to talk about the Packers. That would be freaking nice.
All right, here we go. I got to remember to mute it.
All right, here we go. Yeah, I, I thought it was going
to. I thought it was going to
stretch to Washington. It looked right on the line.
It was a pixel way. All right, we got the Raiders
again. Where where you going with the
Raiders this time? 5 All right, your next team is
(01:15:50):
can I get an easy one like a give me a Baltimore or a yeah LA
yes, yes 2 yes, man, I'm not there.
I'm not there. I know you love though, but
Stafford is still there. I'm not there.
Love that easy two maybe one depending on yeah.
(01:16:12):
This isn't going to be 1 Where where are the lions going for
you now at three, I think I think I'm going to put them at 3
for now as if I can move it later.
I don't know why, I said. It for now. 4 is a possibility
depending on who else comes up though Cardinals I want to
(01:16:34):
believe I want to believe in what they don't have anything
going for him, but I may not believe in this team.
I'm going to go I'm going to go seven.
OK that's where I want to put him in two.
I want to in Marv in McBride. They got a OK offensive line.
(01:16:57):
Why? Why are you doing this to me?
Vikings with the. 5th pick. Oh man, come on, there's the
obvious spot to stick up 6 We'regoing 6 Cowboys.
(01:17:21):
OK. Yeah, we got, we got to go 8.
We're going to have to do it to him.
All right. Can I get Baltimore or Buffalo,
please, so I can just put them at 1:00 and we can call it a
day? It's not going to happen, folks.
Unbelievable. I thought it was going to be
(01:17:43):
Green Bay. It's a Steelers by a nine.
It's 9. Honestly, I couldn't find you
have 1/4 and 10 left. JJ, I've almost done what you
did. I should have put the Rams in
one. I'm such a dumb.
Dumb. Please.
Baltimore. Baltimore.
Baltimore. No.
(01:18:04):
Well, I guess we're one in tending this sucker.
It's brutal, isn't it? What could go wrong, folks?
What could go wrong? What could go wrong here?
Philly. Philly, Philly.
Buffalo, Cincy. You have to be kidding.
(01:18:25):
They're not going to be worse than Pittsburgh, Dallas,
Arizona. Let's do it.
Bengals to one. Yeah, let's do it.
Can't wait. Please.
What could go wrong? Give me the Ravens.
This would be Baltimore. I know it is.
This is going to be Baltimore. It's going to be Philly.
OK? It's going to be neither of
those. Colts.
(01:18:45):
Colts, yes, yes, insane. Let's see all right, we got one
through 10 Bengals, Rams, Lions,Falcons, Raiders, Vikings,
Cardinals, Cowboys, Steelers, Colts.
There's a lot of mid in the NFL right now, that's for sure.
Actually, you kind of got more the more suck than mid.
(01:19:08):
I kind of want to do one more 5.I actually see if we can start
getting some good teams. He flipped my list.
He flipped Minnesota and Arizonaon me.
No, I like that. I actually like that.
I think this would fall into theBengals.
(01:19:29):
Everything falls right, as you were talking about earlier,
Like, it's a narrow path. I would say it's narrower than
like the Packers path. Yeah.
But like, both of them have the narrow paths.
Yeah. All right, let's do one more
five. Man, we have to agree where to
put them. We'll just.
Hope we get some good teams. I'd like to get some good teams.
(01:19:50):
Yes, there we go. Ravens.
I'm I'm going to say it's tough because, you know, all these
sucky teams are in there. I think this is easy for me.
One, it's probably 1. I think so.
One or two, Yeah, I think so. It's either one or two.
There's nothing else. I I think though, my thing is if
(01:20:10):
I, I think I could justify like having pretty much anybody below
them, but I can't justify is having to put like Jacksonville
at 1:00 because we didn't, we didn't get who we wanted at 10.
Did you remove? Well, it's, it's also, it's also
tough because there's not a lot of teams that have put ahead of
Baltimore. That's what I mean.
(01:20:31):
Like I think Tampa, I think Kansas City is defensible.
I don't think I'd maybe Philly because I think Baltimore,
Philly, the game was the game was exactly what I expected.
It was tight. It it, I wanted that Super Bowl
(01:20:52):
because I thought it was going to be like a really, really
good, like we were going to get a great match up.
Again, I think it's defensible to put Baltimore above Philly.
I think it's defensible to put Baltimore above everybody.
So I don't think there's anybodythat I'm getting where I'm going
to regret putting Baltimore at one.
Do you think San Francisco is going to be good this year?
Yes or no? What what would we say?
(01:21:15):
One word answer? One word answer, yes or no?
Good, Good. No.
Right. So our next, our number two team
is Atlanta. I kind of want all birds.
Where do you think the Falcons are?
I'm just, I'm looking at what else is there right now.
(01:21:35):
I'm trying to decide if don't forget to remove them because I
think Baltimore's still on there.
Oh, they're still on there. You're right.
That's OK. If we get Baltimore again, we
just re spin unless you can remove them.
I'm guessing I can't. I can't try removing it until we
(01:21:56):
rank Atlanta. My issue is if you have Atlanta
right and you say you get Miami and like Seattle, I don't have a
problem putting either one of those teams ahead of Atlanta.
Oh, OK. Oh, OK.
Like, I think they're kind of inthe same tier of like wild card,
(01:22:23):
right? Yeah.
Like a like a a tier behind where the Packers would be.
Oh Atlanta yeah they're they're they're a gear behind the
package yes, of course yes, absolutely.
Drew says 4 is too low. There are too many bad teams,
(01:22:44):
but on the upside, like are you Houston or Atlanta?
Houston, right. Chargers are Atlanta Chargers.
No, I, I mean, the all three of those are pretty close for me.
Like I would, I would put Houston and the Chargers ahead
of the Falcons, but I wouldn't be like gut punched if I had to
(01:23:05):
on on this blind ranking. If I had them flip-flopped, I
wouldn't be gut punched. Yeah, I'm, I'm, I'm fine.
Certainly. What's your gut?
What? One of them at 3:00.
Well, my gut is 4, but the chat I think you should do your I
think you should I, I I think I pushed you for Baltimore at one.
I think you could make the the call for for Atlanta at 4.
The chat could be the chat couldbe right.
The chat could be right. That's the luck of the draw.
(01:23:28):
Yeah. What What what do the four
feels? OK.
Yeah, I I don't, I think we're fine.
Like, if we get Green Bay, like,it's going to be perfect.
OK. Well, this this is interesting
now. OK.
Well, I already, I already wish we had put the Falcons at 3:00.
Yeah, I think they got to go 3 Niners at 3.
(01:23:50):
All right, I'm fine with that. You just get.
I just hope they're not good. I really wanted, I really wanted
Tampa. Well, there we go.
OK, Seattle. So Seattle's going at 2, right?
For me. No, not a chance.
You're putting in Seattle at five.
Yeah, I think. I think for reasons the reason
(01:24:12):
is Kevin O'Connell, QB whisperer.
He's not coming with him. Who's the office coordinator for
Seattle this year? It's Clint Kubiak who was in New
Orleans who did some good stuff,Seattle Five, who did some good
stuff. But I feel like didn't, I know
(01:24:33):
he didn't get help with the injuries, but I did feel like
there was not as much of an adjustment.
All right, you know what? And, and it's kind of just like
JSN and nobody, like their offensive line is OK.
It's not. It's not bad.
It's OK. Yeah, final team is.
(01:25:00):
That's really unfortunate. We were close to Carolina and
Washington. It would have been perfect.
It's tough. Wait, you would you'd be OK with
Carolina at two? Yeah.
Really. Yes, 100%.
Are you a big Bryce Zone believer now?
(01:25:21):
Now. Always, you always were always,
always for Bryce Young and now he's got tat.
So we're I like that. I like that.
This is a list of pretty different teams than what we had
last time. We did get three birds on there.
Was hoping we get off. We got three birds and four NFC
(01:25:43):
teams. I was hoping we were going to
get all five birds. Drew says Jake needs to tweet
this one out. OK, All right, Jake, send that
screenshot, turn it over. I'll DM you the screenshot.
Perfect. You got to tweet it and then
chat. You got to retweet this.
I shall retweet this with some embarrassing comments for for
(01:26:04):
sure. As as you should, as you should.
Hashtag Ed policy day. Yes, yes.
So I do have something else. Hashtag head Policy Rankings Day
Policy ranking State Sponsored by State Farm Yes, Jake, I do
(01:26:25):
have something else I wanted to do with you.
So I hold our listeners and my Twitter following and asked them
to rate each of our defensive tackles and our cornerbacks
'cause I, you know, I've been. That's interesting.
Nothing short of brutal to thosetwo groups on this podcast for
(01:26:49):
the last month and 1/2 or longer.
And I want I wanted a gut check.I wanted to see where the
listeners are at, see if maybe I'm just way out over my skis.
And obviously, you know the top guy that I wanted to gut check
(01:27:11):
this opinion on Kenny Clark. I wanted to see if the fanbase
thinks I'm a nut job, so I started.
I had Defonte Wyatt was the first player on here.
What I'm going to do is I'm going to give you the options.
(01:27:34):
So on each one of these options, there's a like, I don't know,
just the results option. So the percentages are not going
to add up to 100. And I'm going to give you the
other options. And I want you for each of these
players to tell me which option the fans picked and which option
(01:27:56):
you would pick. I need 30 seconds to step away.
So if you want to give the chat a few of those options quick and
let me pop off for 30 seconds and I will be right back.
OK, I don't understand this question, Drew.
All right, so I it's a live show.
(01:28:19):
Go ahead, Drew says. Is Ghost on the list of YouTube
affiliates that you can sell products for?
I don't have any idea. No idea what that means.
I'm guessing this is over on on Jake's more exciting channel.
YouTube has affiliates. I would be surprised if Ghost is
(01:28:40):
on there. I mean redacted.
We don't say the name on here. So do you by the way, if you
want the if you want the screenshot that that Jake is
going to tweet out of his five person or his five team ranking
list that you guys need to retweet.
He's on X at Jake NFL draft. So he hasn't tweeted it yet, but
(01:29:04):
he will probably after the show ends, go ahead and retweet it
with it an embarrassing comment and try and get people to think
that he actually thinks that it's cool for this says what's
what's how can I say this word? I only know redacted.
It's a great, great comment. All right, so I I was kind of
(01:29:31):
chuckling when I put together this defensive tackle list for
people to react to on Twitter because there's just so few
bodies on the roster like I did the defensive tackles and the
quarterbacks and we have like a full healthy room of, you know,
bodies in the quarterback room to react to really wasn't a
(01:29:52):
problem. And then defensive tackles like
the shortest list ever. So for each of these, the first
couple guys who are actually going to be kind of more in the
rotation, the options that I included were great slash elite,
dependable or liability. And then for some of the guys
who we have kind of seen a lot and we kind of have never seen
(01:30:17):
anything good from them, I just removed the great slash elite
and just only let people vote ondependable versus liability.
And then for the guys we haven'tseen at all, the options were
like, what do you think they're going to be for 2025, either
playable on defense or not playable on defense.
Those were the only options. All right.
(01:30:39):
Drew says I still love the redacted branding.
That should be a legit company. I have thought several times
about oh nice a total jacket on that yes it's a little jacket
folks thanks. You'd love to see.
I I thought, although I did showthe brand, which is energy
(01:31:00):
drink. I did show the.
Brand that was tough. But that's the way we do promote
the Packers brand everywhere. But you know, that's because
we're catering to, we are sucking up to Packers fans.
Except for Packers fans. Really good.
I haven't. Had that yet?
That's so good. Wow.
OK, Jake, are you coming to my birthday party?
(01:31:23):
When's that? It's it's this coming?
Week. It's this this week.
Well, July 9th and 10th is the birthday celebrations.
The actual birthday's on the 10th and I'm doing Bonfire Night
on the ninth Wednesday. OK, let me get back to you on
that since it's midweek and I'm a state or two away.
(01:31:47):
All right, I don't see the big deal.
Just bop over. It'll be a good time.
I'm turning 30. That's a pretty big one to to
get to. You only get to turn 30, let you
know a couple times. Drew said you should.
None of us were invited. None of us never know. 12 of the
(01:32:09):
invite's coming still for loco this week.
I felt it, but boy was it good. I've never tried that.
That was good. For.
I mean, I don't OK, I don't loathe for loco.
It's not. I wouldn't say it's good.
I've never had one. All right, so here we go.
(01:32:30):
Jake, starting with Devante Wyatt.
Your options are great. Slash, elite, dependable or
liability. Devante Wyatt.
Yeah. You you have to tell me first
what you think. The fans voted.
(01:32:50):
There were 81 votes. 81 votes. Wow.
OK, what do you think 1 and and what do you think the split was?
So there there were there all three options were there for
them, for the fans. OK, yeah, Option 1 was great
slash elite. Option 2 was dependable.
(01:33:10):
Option 3 was liability. OK, if I were to guess the
votes, I would guess 61% dependable leaves me with 39.
I would say 22% liability and 17% great, excellent.
(01:33:31):
And then what would your answer be of those three?
I think as of this moment, I would go with dependable.
I think a full healthy season ofhim is probably going to be in
that highest tier. Once that happens, which I think
it will, then we'll put him there.
(01:33:53):
As of now, the question was not asking what has he been in the
past. The question is what do you
think he's going to be for 2025?Oh, oh, oh.
Then I I would put him in the Packer fans, please Give your
opinion on the DT room for 2025.Let's start with Devante Wyatt.
OK? No, yeah, no, I think I think,
well, if we're going on what can, what will he become?
I would put great, excellent. Then yeah, OK.
(01:34:16):
Which is my answer as well. The fans only went 51%
dependable. Is there an intruder breaking
into Jake's house? Hopefully they're just bringing
cookies and not steering this TV.
Just a really great timing to dosome stuff that's going on
(01:34:39):
behind me. I don't know why they're doing
that, but whatever. If you need to go, we can wrap
this up. No, no, no, it's not me.
It's not me, OK? It's not me, but great,
excellent is. Yeah, well, he can be.
I think to this point I would say dependable.
So I I don't know, but I would still put that for my guest.
It has to be forward because I would still put that for the
(01:35:01):
terms of the poll because I don't think, OK, I think for the
poll, that's what I would still stick with.
OK, so so the the fans said 51% dependable.
OK, 39% great slash elite 3.7% liability.
That's great. Good job fans.
(01:35:23):
I I you know, I didn't believe in you enough.
I didn't believe in you enough. That's my fault.
I will take the I'm going to tell you what man, I did not
think it was going to be the case.
I was surprised by the answers to these.
Well, that's good. I think fans well done.
Good job to to my stance about alot of the players in here.
(01:35:44):
OK, I love so Kenny Clark was upnext.
So the question was give your now Give your opinion of Kenny
Clark for 2025 great slash elitedependable or liability.
What do you think won? I mean, I think I think
liability wins, but I don't knowif it wins by as much as it
probably should win by is my guess.
(01:36:08):
So I'm going to guess the I'm going to guess the, the numbers
here, I'm going to say liabilitygets, I'm going to say liability
gets 52%. Don't don't forget each one of
these does have a don't know, just the results option.
(01:36:29):
So you don't have to try and getto 100%.
Basically the the further down the depth chart you get, the
more that just see results option creeps up for, for Kenny
and Devante, it was like 1 to 2%of just see results.
And then for some of the other ones, it was like 17/18/19
percent for some of the depth guys.
Kenny Clark, Kenny Clark, man, great slash elite dependable or
(01:36:52):
liability. Which one won?
I mean, I, I think I, I think liability wins.
I do OK. I just don't think I don't think
it wins by a lot. I'm going to say I'm going to
say liability gets like 53% would be my guess.
For liability. I think 53, I'm going to go, I'm
(01:37:17):
going to go. I'm going to go 383037 say
dependable, which leaves me for about 10%. 5337, yeah, leaves me
about 10% that say elite, which makes no sense, but I have a
feeling that that's what happened.
So I want 5337 and 10. You're not bad.
(01:37:41):
It's 59 liability, 27% dependable, 10% great slash
elite. OK, so it was so 90% used more
essentially or 97 point whatever.
Yeah, more more than half of or no more than twice as many
(01:38:02):
people said liability as dependable.
OK, you know, I I would, I wouldprobably say again, I I would
put liability in there. I think he's over the hill.
He's over the hill gang for sure.
So I think it's good the fans are seeing that.
(01:38:23):
I think now 10% saying great elite, that's it's unfortunate,
but that's, that's where I landed in it.
And I just I feel like we're going to hang up.
I feel like those that's the family that tend to hang on to
this. I think that 10% was my buddy
Zach and his 15 burner accounts.Oh, it could could be who's
(01:38:43):
next? Carl Brooks is up next.
So I did give all three options again for this great slash
elite, dependable and liability.Which one do you think won?
I just, I feel like there's not a negative opinion out there.
So I feel like dependable probably wins this dependable
(01:39:04):
one. OK, so then I'm going to think
about this. Which had more great slash elite
or liability? Which one was higher?
76% of the vote went to dependable.
OK, that I I buy that. I was probably going to say
around 65 to 70. So that makes sense.
(01:39:26):
Which one got more great or liability?
I mean, you said 76% was dependable, 76%.
OK. So it's going to be pretty close
then I feel like, I feel like it's not a blow out because I
think that one of these almost doubled, the other almost
(01:39:48):
doubled. Really.
Wow. I mean it's it's small numbers,
so you know, you almost doubled. So like.
We're we're a. 15 and 9 we're a point away from it being the
double 15 and 9. So 16 and 8 would be the double.
It's so 15 and 9 would be my guess.
(01:40:10):
If it's close to the double, 15 to 9, then.
So it's 13 and 813 and eight. OK.
Oh, so there were a few then there's still a few percentage
points of of results then. OK.
From here on out, we're gonna start getting where where just
see results is like a really large number.
OK, I feel like that's the last one.
I think dependable player. Yes, I do think then if he's in
(01:40:36):
the dependable, then I think youhave to put Wyatt in the great
elite then if he's going to win dependable by that much,
especially again, I I know that I think there's a lot of
optimism, which I think is good.Carl Brooks, I think JJ still
leading that train. I am comfortably in car three
ordering a little bit of tea andsome honey on that on that train
(01:40:58):
for Carl Brooks. I do think he needs to show more
though. I think we need to see more.
This is going to be year three now where, you know, I mean,
he's still a tweener is the problem.
Like he's right. You know, there is that's always
going to be the problem. And he doesn't offer much as a
run stuffer. He's kind of a pure swipe pass
rushing defensive tackle. So there's that.
(01:41:21):
He's a situational guy, which iswhy I wish he was our DT4
instead of DT two or three. But you didn't answer whether
you saw whether you thought Great slash elite or liability
10. I I, I think of the fans have
seemed to be optimist at this point.
So I think Great has to probablywin that.
Yeah, Great had 13% liability had 8%.
(01:41:43):
Just the results had yeah. I just don't, I don't think I
could consciously vote for either of those for him at this
point. So I just don't think he's shown
you vote liability for Carl Brooks.
No, I, I wouldn't vote either ofthose pollers.
I I think dependable has to be the vote dependable, which then
I think for me would, yeah, would be.
I'm glad that you kind of said that for 2025, because I do
(01:42:04):
think great elite is, is, is where why it should be.
Yeah. So here's, by the way, here's
the purpose of me doing this poll.
I wanted to kind of establish, hey, what does the fan base
think as far as how many guys dowe have in the room who are
adequate? And through these first 3, I
(01:42:28):
feel like this is borderline notenough depending on like where
you land on Carl Brooks because the the fans have spoken and
they say Kenny Clark is not adequate.
So to me it comes down to are you voting?
Yeah, Carl Brooks as your 3 is dependable or is it Carl Brooks
(01:42:51):
is dependable no matter what. That's fair.
So, and I think this is where itshould be as to what you you
need to have at least three defensive tackles who you can
play, minimum of three guys you can put out there and play.
So that means through the rest of this room, we're going to
(01:43:12):
have to find one more. Let's see.
Let's see what the next one. I don't understand, man.
Let's see what's up next. Holby.
Wouldn't the only options I gavewere dependable or liability?
Well, OK. Which one do you think won?
Dependable. Liability.
Wins for sure. Liability.
(01:43:34):
Hold on. Hold on.
What do you think? Hold on.
What do you think the split was?I feel like the results might be
higher on this. I feel like less of a result
than opinion. Results was in second place.
Wow. OK, great.
OK, that's good to know. OK.
Results. This is in second.
So nobody nobody wants to see depend.
No, nobody thinks dependable or this has to be probably I mean
(01:43:56):
this has to be close to 2/3 thenliability.
You think 2/3 liability? I think so 66.7%.
Wow. OK, Yeah, I mean, if if results
is beating dependable, yeah, it would it would have had to be
somewhere like that. OK, it's good to know.
So you had 17 and 15% for results in Team 15.
(01:44:19):
OK, All right. Next up, six round four in.
What are the 15% doing respectfully?
Respectfully, I think they're just resting on the laurels.
In fact, he's a fourth round pick.
So I feel I will say Drew sayingI'm amazing at this game.
I feel like JJ kind of hinted towards, like he was surprised
by the results, which to me means that I think a lot of our
(01:44:42):
takes, which was usually a line in this front, are pretty much
going to be realizing these. And I feel like that's why I'm
getting a bit of a leg up on this.
So I I think I have my iPod. That's good.
That's clever tool for this said.
I feel like Jake has Twitter pulled up on his iPod.
You're wrong. Because it's X and it's on his
(01:45:03):
iPad right there. Yeah, it's the everything app on
his on my Zune. No, Warren Brinson.
Oh, boy. Sixth round rookie.
I mean, here's the only options I gave.
OK. Playable on defense for 2025 or
(01:45:24):
not playable on defense? In 2025.
Which one do you think won? Yikes.
Well, I mean, not playable. Probably has to win, which is
not good because this is like the 4th, the fifth guy you've
mentioned in the. The fourth guy is.
You know, I will say this one shocked me, especially because I
(01:45:49):
saw the early results. Yeah.
And then the final, the final vote was not even close to the
early results. OK, so give me, all right, I'm
going to say I'm going to say not playable is like 46% and
like playable's like 303839, something like that.
(01:46:12):
And then what? What is that?
You have the freaking app open on your phone or something?
I do not, No, I mean, yeah, not playable is 46%.
Is it really? That's great.
Of course it is. Aren't you're not looking at it.
Really. I'm not.
This is wild. I'm not.
Is that, is that your Twitter? Can I go look at it now?
No, we got a couple. I don't.
(01:46:33):
We have quarters. We still have quarters to do.
Yeah, we do. Yeah.
And we, we still have some, believe it or not, we have a
couple DTS to get through. So, oh, we probably just put,
just put Stackhouse on there too.
Probably I put everybody out here.
Well, that's fair. If you're going to be like he's
looking over there, he's lookingover here and looking at it.
I, I'm not, I'm just you usuallyare.
(01:46:54):
Twitter is usually on that screen for you.
Twitter is I will say Twitter ison the screen.
Your Twitter is not on the screen.
I am just catching up to see if I look at your Twitter, he's
tweeting. I don't know why he wouldn't
look at mine. That's just mean.
All right, JJ wants me to cheat, all right, That's which option
I'm I'm giggling at all these Darren Waller tweets.
(01:47:14):
I got to say playable on defenseor results.
Which one won this one? I feel like this one.
I feel like this one might be like 333333 like results is
super, super high. I let's go 1/3 for each of them.
(01:47:35):
Well, you already know that the dead tie.
How much was 4346% not playable was 46.
Oh, so I'm 46 again. Wow, OK, no, this is still the
same 10. This is Warren Brinson.
Oh, 46%. And I was saying playable on
(01:47:56):
defense versus results. Which one won?
Well, I think I said I think I said playable one, right.
I said 4637 and like whatever the rest is 17.
So that was left not playable was. 46%.
Yeah, not playable 46, playable 37 and then whatever's left is
the is the our see results. I think it was almost a a dead
(01:48:18):
tie. It was like a percentage point
off between playable and results, but playable one.
OK, well it came in second over results.
OK, so in a zero stack house sent next, it was a 46 not
playable 27 playable 25 1/2 results.
(01:48:38):
OK, it's fair. Stackhouse Xer Stackhouse
playable or not playable? He's a UDFA.
This could be this could be likethis could be like 62 not
(01:49:00):
playable. What?
I have 38 left, 6220 for resultsand then 18 for or no, Is that
wrong? No, wait, wait, wait.
Yeah, 20 and 18. No, that's right. 62% not
(01:49:20):
playable. 20 results and then 18playable is my guess for this
one. This was really split. 44 not
playable. 30 just the results. 25 playable.
Wait, did Oh no, you said 27. OK, yeah. 27% playable for
(01:49:45):
Warren Brinson, 25% playable forNazir Stackhouse.
So apparently there's apparentlythere's like 4 people out there
who do believe in Warren Brinsonbut don't believe in Nazir
Stackhouse. And otherwise, if you believe in
one, you'll believe in that's the that's the draft pick thing.
Almost drafted 1 wasn't, which should probably be on the flip
(01:50:06):
side, I think it should be opposite.
Probably Udfas, man. Udfas play more than the late
day three picks. Yeah.
Yeah. I feel like it should be split.
So then we have Cameron Young, who we just brought in from the
Seahawks. He was a was he a fourth round
pick or a sixth round pick? I forget.
(01:50:26):
I think it was a fourth round pick a few years ago.
Yeah. He basically didn't really play
for the Seahawks. He was a draft pick.
We picked him up recently. I think he didn't play in 2024.
I mean, I mean, logically this not playable must be higher.
(01:50:48):
So how many people, what do you think the percentage was of
people who said playable? It's got to be pretty low
because again, here, here's the logic.
All right, here's the logic. The logic is that this should
not playable, should be much higher, but also see results
(01:51:14):
should be higher because I feel like most people don't know this
guy is. So I'm almost thinking, see
results might have won this pole.
I'm going to go see results, seeresults for like 58%.
I'm going to see results. That leaves me at 42.
I'm going to almost I'm going togo 34 for the not playable and
(01:51:35):
then 8% for the playable. That's what it was.
It was almost like 4545 not playable in results.
Oh wow, it was 49 not playable, 43 results, 7 playable.
I mean logically based on these numbers that that makes sense
because again, a lot of people don't know the guy, which to be
(01:51:55):
fair, I didn't either. I had to go back and look, and
again, if logically, if you're going to go up from the draft
pick to the UDFA to the guy we've never heard of, that's
probably the direction it's going to be.
But I think corner's going to bemuch more interesting.
We have one more question here for defensive tackle, and this
(01:52:17):
was there. There's three more defensive
tackles on the roster. And so I actually Randolph
Esther, and there's Randolph James Esther.
Who's the other Nesta Jade Silvera is the last one.
Oh, that's right. Oh my goodness.
OK, so I put those three guys and none as an option.
(01:52:41):
And I said, which player has thehighest likelihood of being able
to play on defense for the Packers at any point in 2025?
What answer do you think won andwhat was the drop off from that
answer to the second highest answer?
Let's see here. He just scrolled on his phone.
Unfortunately, no. That's a text message saying I
(01:53:02):
didn't move anything too much inthe house.
You're or any. I didn't move too much around.
You're fine. Because I was complaining about
it. No.
Oh, man. OK, so there's four options.
Keith Randolph, Nesta Jade Silvera, James Ester, and none.
(01:53:25):
Which option was highest and what was the drop off from that
to? I mean, logically it should be
none, but I bet the drop off's not big.
So let's go. Let's go. 32% for none.
Go about a third, little under athird.
I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go 25 for Randolph.
That gives me a 57. I have 43 left.
(01:53:51):
Give me 21 of that 43. No 23 of the 43 for Esther and
then 20 for Silvera. So 31 or 3220520320 is my guess.
None got 72% of the vote. Keith Randolph and James Esther
(01:54:16):
were tied at 10.3%. Oh boy.
Nesta Jade, Silvera's mom, votedfor him and that was it.
OK, well, there we go. So that's the defensive tack
room. So I would say we did not come
up with three playable defensivetackles.
(01:54:36):
No2. It's not good.
If you're doing, that's not goodenough.
If you're doing not enough, not good at all is not enough.
I mean, I I like basically the fan base unanimously agrees.
Brian Goudigans did not do enough to address defensive
(01:54:58):
tackle for 2025 in a great classto do so.
Let's turn our attention to cornerback.
OK, let's Nate Hobbs. The options are great.
Slash elite, dependable or liability.
(01:55:26):
OK. But is there results tab,
there's a results for all these?Yeah, The only exception is that
at some point I did the same, like pick between three guys or
none. OK, that's the only one.
Nate Hobbs. I feel like I think dependables
going to win this. Oh, it's just a question.
(01:55:49):
By how much is it going to win? What would your answer be?
I don't. I think dependables my answer,
OK, this is a plurality to me. This isn't winning it.
There's no way. I just don't feel like 60% like
dependable feels unlikely. OK, hurry up.
(01:56:17):
Trying to I'm trying to I'm trying to put it together.
I'm trying to think, I'm trying to think, I'm trying to think.
All right, I'm going to give dependable like 42.
What was higher, great slash elite or liability?
I think liability is higher. What was higher, great slash
(01:56:37):
elite or results? Great slash elite?
Great slash elite brought up therear with 6.3%.
OK, wow, that's probably, I probably would have guessed
double that. Results did double that.
Wow. OK.
Liability got 16%. Wow.
(01:57:00):
OK, that's higher than you want for your CV1 and dependable got
exactly 2 thirds, 66.7%. Did not think that was going to
be the case. OK, now we have Keyshawn Nixon
and I don't know why, but hardlyanybody voted in this one.
(01:57:24):
Nobody wanted to. It's a very small sample size.
It's a it's AI wrote it differently though.
I said Give your opinion of Keyshawn Nixon as a cornerback
for 2025. That's probably good.
What did that? What answer won and what would
you pick? I feel like dependable and
(01:57:49):
liability are probably splittingthe the plurality of this vote
would be my guess. Both of those around 40% each
and then results narrowly beats great, excellent, 66.7%
dependable, 22% liability, 5.6% each for results and great
(01:58:17):
slash, OK. But not many people voted on
that one for some reason. OK, Harrington Valentine, I know
what's happening. Everybody voted on this there.
I will tell you 0% went for justsee results.
I think this is the only one where that's OK.
I feel like liabilities last on this.
(01:58:38):
I think the I think the opinionsare high draft pick over signee
and former kicker Turner. So let's go.
Let's put dependable in the 60s again, though.
We'll we'll keep it again for for me, it I think dependable's
going to be in the 60s dependable 63 and then yeah,
(01:59:03):
let's go 19 and 18 for your great elite liability.
Liability edges it out by 1. Your logic is sound based on
what I've seen already. 7.9 percent, 7.9% each for great
slash elite and liability. OK, so even more 0 for your
(01:59:25):
results. So whopping 84% went for
dependable. Wow, wow, which I think is about
where I would probably put him to like I'd be waffle in between
dependable and liability, but I probably would go dependable.
So so Valentine was the most dependable of the three in the
polls, correct. Yes, OK, yeah, Keyshawn and
(01:59:51):
Hobbes both got should be that'sthat's what I expect from the
fans draft pick and then the signees and the former kick
returner like yeah, yeah, kinda.I'm fine with going dependable
for all three of these guys. Yeah.
(02:00:12):
I don't really have a problem with it.
I'm not like enthusiastically saying dependable, but I'm
saying dependable, Yeah. It's not an it's not a it's not,
it's not dependable like those guys in the news, you know, bits
on some cartoons who like really, really, you know, give
it some juice. It's very much like dependable,
(02:00:32):
sure, kind of a very, very muteddependable that comes out of
your mouth almost, which is fine, you know, but but it's
yeah, exactly. It's not It's not, you know,
hey, we added Trey Amos to the corner room or, you know, we
added even somebody like Wes or Robinson, right, like to the DT
(02:00:58):
room. So do you know how good I feel
right now? If we had Ty Robinson on this
freaking roster, I'd feel fine. I think I would just be like,
we're set. Robinson plus pick your favorite
nose tackle from his raft. And I feel like, boy, would we
feel good right now. But honestly, if you if you if
(02:01:21):
you told me it was Robinson and Warren Brinson, I'd be like,
whatever we got Robinson, whatever, I can live with it.
We haven't really had great nosetackle play.
Like like imagine Amos West and Robinson on this team, all
three. Imagine Belton, Savion, and we
(02:01:43):
still Jacob. Monk from last year.
Sick. So the next guy I went with on
here was Javon Bullard. The only options I gave were
dependable or liability. What do you think won?
I think dependable won, which based on the based on the play
(02:02:06):
of last year, it shouldn't win. I go 6238 just straight up
pretty good 66270 there's yeah and then 5% for results.
OK, yeah, seems about right and and you would go liability
(02:02:29):
there. I, I don't, it's hard through
one season to say either or He'sprobably in between of like we
put him in developmental projecttier for a reason 'cause he had
to wear multiple hats last year and the majority of it wasn't
(02:02:53):
good. If you're going for 2024, it's a
liability. I would be a little more
optimistic for, for 25 probably.But yeah, I, I don't, I, I would
vote, I would fence dependable for this, for this poll.
I would probably fence it, to behonest.
But yeah, I mean, still second up, man, our defensive ends
(02:03:20):
better just be play lights out this year.
Defensive ends and safeties and linebackers, man, they're going
to have to be our defense. I guess.
I I sure feel better about our corners than I do about our
defensive tackles, though. I'll tell you what, yeah, I
think, I think that's totally fair.
And like, if Wyatt gets hurt, better give somebody a call.
(02:03:47):
Who would you rather try and live without?
The the turf monster is going tograb either Rashan Gary or
Devante Wyatt. Who would you rather try and
live without? Oh my gosh, probably Gary, which
is insane thing to say, but it'strue.
(02:04:07):
And like this coming from somebody who's not quite the
believer in Van Ness either. But I feel like happily with
with Cox, with Annegbari, with Oliver and even maybe Sorrell,
like can get more out of that than I think anybody's going to
get out of a unit that doesn't have Wyatt on it.
Like, that's just facts, unfortunately.
(02:04:28):
Gosh, wouldn't it be so sick if Wyatt had somebody who was like,
Oh yeah, I can match him, you know, in the middle and we can
just go to work. Like it would be so nice.
And I think maybe some people think it's Carl Brooks based on
the pole, which great, if it happens, awesome.
But there's just I, I, yeah, I, I think it's very clearly Gary,
(02:04:51):
unfortunately, which would suck because that's two big injuries
in the, you know, a relatively short span for him.
So the other thing that I have not talked about on here, I
don't know why I've never brought this up.
You know, I was mega high on Carl Brooks, but never as a
defensive tackle. I always liked him as a
defensive end. Defensive end, I don't like him
(02:05:12):
as a defensive at tackle. I want him playing on the off
the edge. Now.
I loved Devante Wyatt. Devante Wyatt.
I had as like the maybe the 11thbest player in that draft class.
I loved Devante Wyatt. So glad we got him.
So 22 that was 22 let. Me.
(02:05:33):
Go find that wire. Keep going.
Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt, but I wanna.
I wanna find mine, too. We have Kaylin King.
Dependable or liability. Yeah.
Ed Wyatt right behind Davis and as the best three tech in that
(02:05:57):
draft by a mile. My third D line in that draft
was Travis Jones, who's doing a nice little job for himself as
kind of A1 tech in Baltimore. Wasn't a great draft when you
look up and down the you look upand down the board of the DTS
was big for Green Bay to LED Wyatt.
It was because we had to try to talk ourselves into Matthew
(02:06:22):
Butler, Thomas Booker, Neil Farrell, Junior.
Yeah. So it was it was it was
impaired. Well, and there were the hybrid
guys, right, like the Logan Halls, the Demarvan Leals, the
Josh Pascals, But like again, they weren't going to be truly
playing where Wyatt was going toplay.
So it was not a great DT class and and no, hats off to Goody
(02:06:46):
for saying yeah, we got to go get one.
We need one. Like now.
We're not we're not. I mean, I didn't like that he
but then he didn't do Wyatt to grab Quay.
Well, that's a problem. Yes, 100% that was not not smart
at all. 100% Drew asks, is not drafting ADT highly a sign that
we will use defensive ends as defensive tackles like Gary and
(02:07:07):
Vadnais? No, it's not.
It's a sign that Packers are still operating under the
delusion that Kenny Clark is a God.
He's still a top three defensivetackle in the NFL.
That's all it is. They're hoping they think that
they're set to and a new scheme. That's what it was.
That's what they're thinking. I just don't.
They're just going to ignore theprevious two years.
Yeah, I just don't like that bat.
(02:07:27):
I think it's a silly bat, Coach Lynn asks.
Can wouldn't help us in the one tech.
He's going to have to because there's nobody else.
We're going to have to go to Culver's 5 * a week to get
there, period. He's going to have to because
there's nobody else. There's nobody else on the
roster. OK, Kaylin King, dependable or
(02:07:52):
liable. They can do this on 3rd down
right, but we're not be. It will not happen on early
downs because we're this unit cannot you can't use Gary or Van
Ness at AD tackle spot on early downs.
You will get pushed around by Philly.
You will get pushed around by Detroit week 1.
I don't care that their interiorO line is a major question.
(02:08:13):
They're still going to push you around with with with that set
up that they they can't do that on on early downs.
Can they do it on late downs? Sure, but at that point, like I
would also still rather have, you know, the guys who are
coming off the edge like Gary and Van Ness, who can create
like they can. But yeah, it's it's a tricky
(02:08:37):
spot. It's not great.
So Drew says they'll bet on Kenny Clark, but not Jair.
I mean, I can I get an Amen? I I would think the correct
answer on paper is to bet on either one.
I would have been happier betting on Jair than for sure.
(02:08:59):
For sure. Jake, do you just not want to
talk about Kaylin King? No, we can.
Let's do it. Kaylin King dependable or
liability? Which one Liability.
What was the split go 6535. It's probably higher, honestly,
now they think about it. So there was a 35 in there, but
(02:09:20):
that was for results, sure. Sure.
That's what I meant. That's what I meant.
There was 00 percent dependable. That's what I meant for sure was
dependable over or below 10% should be below better not be
over 11.8 guys. Adam says Kenny was playing the
(02:09:44):
seven pro and Jair hasn't. Kenny can't see the play through
mild. That's fatigue.
Yeah. We shouldn't be doing that,
Kenny. He can't play through mild
fatigue. Respect for trying, but don't do
it. Respect for trying.
He just stands there with his hands on his hips and watches
other guys play. Like, I'm sorry, if you are too
(02:10:06):
hurt to continue the play, then let's put you on IR.
Let you rest up. Yeah, like, like the rant I've
gone on 50 times about 2022. Aaron Rodgers, dude, if your
hand is so messed up that you can't throw the football
accurately, then let's put you on IR.
(02:10:28):
Yeah, right. Either you suck or you need to
go on IR. So which is it?
Because we have another quarterback who can play.
We have another first round quarterback who's been sitting
here for a few years, is ready to play.
We've seen him play against the Eagles.
He's ready. So why are you still out there?
Why doesn't our coach have the Fortitude cojones to put you on
(02:10:52):
IR? You already hit Goody.
Goody. Put him on IR.
Yeah, that's your call. It's not it's not Aaron's call
whether he goes on IR or not. This brings me back to one of my
this brings me back to Moneyball, one of the movies
that made my list where he just walks in there and said, no,
you're you're he's not playing for space.
(02:11:12):
I've traded him, OK, Like we're not.
So I know I walked in, I'm putting it, but IR buddy, OK,
sorry, Aaron can't play today. He's on IR 100%.
You're going to have to take that up with Roger Goodell
because he's going to need to have some sort of an exemption
from the commissioner to get taken off the IR list.
(02:11:33):
You know. Drew says I don't want to hear
about injuries when it's been like 3 years since he was good.
Amen, Amen. But Twitter didn't want to hear
about that last year because he got 5 sacks.
He did 5 snaps that whole year that we're good, at least five.
That's the problem. So that's how you know he's
good. Love the sacks even though
they're not all created, createdthe same.
(02:11:55):
We still haven't learned that, by the way.
So we got 53% liability for Kaylin King, 11.8% dependable,
35% results, seventh round rookie Micah Robinson.
The options were playable on defense in 2025 or not playable
on defense and result, what do you think the split was?
(02:12:16):
Were there? There were results, Yeah.
OK. Results.
Yes, exactly. Such is the problem.
I remember. You think result one.
No, I think results probably gotsecond though.
I think not playable on defense got 55 results got like 30 and
(02:12:41):
then we got 15 for playable. Let's do that results in
playable Tide at 17.6, not playable, got 64.
OK, not bad, not bad. So Next up was Kamal Haddon.
Now, the reason I ranked Kamal Haddon next is because he got
name dropped by Goody recently, and I think that played into the
(02:13:03):
fact that this was a three-way tie.
Whoa. Kamal Haddon was essentially
within a percentage point basically of a three-way tie.
Just the results, technically one, but it was basically a
three-way tie. But OK, wow.
So look, the GM name dropping you as a guy who's going to be
(02:13:26):
in the mix as CB3 or 4. Sure, sure.
I'll go with that. Hey, so I would have gone and
see results as well. Actually, that would be my vote.
I'm not going not play under defense.
Did the name drop affect you in this poll?
Yes. No, I don't know how it
couldn't. It basically.
(02:13:47):
Did you hear about the name dropor not?
Did you hear about it? Yeah, that's it.
That's the one. So last question was, which
corner do you believe has the highest likelihood of
contributing on defense for the Packers in 2025?
Gregory Junior, Isaiah Dunn, Tyron Herring or none?
Well, none probably won. Let's see if I can pick out who
(02:14:08):
won. None got 61%.
Of the vote. Give me, give me #1 Gregory
Junior. Let's go.
Gregory Junior. OK, who then?
Who then? I think Dunn got last.
He did. OK.
(02:14:31):
Tyron Herring and Gregory Juniortied with 15.4.
Isaiah Dunn's mom voted for him.Dang, OK, sure.
All right. Feel pretty good about that.
So I kind of think that where we're at with corner is OK, but
(02:14:53):
not great. I think maybe you're kind of
banking on maybe there's not a weak link.
If you got Valentine and Hobbs and Nixon and potentially
Bullard or somebody else out there as well, there's not
really a weak link to pick on. You're gonna be in trouble if
(02:15:14):
you go up against Justin Jefferson.
Sure, sure. You're gonna be in trouble if
you go up against Aman Ross St. Brown or any Malik neighbors,
any of the good Philly duo wide receivers out there.
Yeah, but it's probably good enough that if the offense can
put up points, which they freaking couldn't last year,
(02:15:37):
Cincinnati might be. I think if the offense can, if
the offense can can get like in the mid to high 20s, I think the
cornerbacks won't be the reason that you lose that game.
Probably not. It's probably going to be that
the quarterback had, you know, 8seconds because Devante Wyatt
needed needed a a break from his100% snap count and nobody else
(02:16:00):
is getting home. Both of you to assume that
they're going to throw the ball at all.
Well, there is also that they can just run it at Kenny or
whoever is not playing. See on this.
In this scenario, I was assumingEdwin Cooper got ATFL and got
super hyped and we're back. I mean, our linebackers are
(02:16:21):
going to have to be perfect. I'm ready.
I'm ready for Koi and Koop. Our linebackers are going to
have to be perfect all year. I'm ready for this defense To
you say Tyron Hopper will have to contribute for this team.
I mean, heck, we can put Tyron Hopper a defensive tackle.
I there's options that I hate worse than that that there's
(02:16:43):
options that I hate worse than that.
That's interesting. Should float that by Goody in a
press conference. I think, Hey, like, say, what do
you think about this, Goudie? I'm I'm trying to reconcile a
couple of things that don't really make sense.
One is Tyron Hopper's place on the roster. 2 is the fact that
you don't have any defensive tackles.
Is Hopper going to play defensive tackle?
(02:17:05):
Could Sorrell play D tackle? Yeah.
What if OK, I I'm not saying I want to do could Sean Ryan play
D tackle? Why not?
Why not? Makes you think, did Jordan
Morgan play D tackle? Does he have that?
(02:17:27):
Does he have that edge? Does he play with enough edge?
Maybe a little bit? Belton play D tackle.
Belton would be a nightmare I think to play against AD tackle
if he wasn't so tall. Did you see the video of NFL
offensive lineman going up against the UFC fighter this
week? No, make the rounds.
(02:17:48):
No, I got to find the I I think I can find the clip somewhere.
I'll send it to you. OK.
It was very satisfying. I like it, Drew said at the
Bears had Shawn Ryan, he'd be their fullback.
He might be the quarterback. He might have to play any spot
on the he'd probably have to play tackle for them.
(02:18:09):
Honestly, he probably would haveto play tackle.
So All right, Jake, you had a surprise for us.
I think it's time for your surprise.
OK, Well, you know, I was, I wassort of thinking like, what
could we, what could we do to like, celebrate, you know, Ed
(02:18:30):
policy day in like the best way possible.
Like, how could we, like, have abig time celebration on the show
for the people? You know, that's what I was
trying to come up with this weekbecause you said you were
putting together something and Ithought, you know, that sounds
fun. Can we get like an intro to the
show? Could we add a little bit of
(02:18:50):
something or is this music thingfrom you?
It is. Can we close out the show?
Oh my gosh, can we close out theshow with an absolute banger?
Love this. Can we do it?
Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh, this is beautiful.
(02:19:23):
Stop doing it. May I say party all, all week
long, folks at Policy Day, make it a week.
July 4th. Go nuts.
That's all I'm going to say. We close it out right there.
Go, pack, go. Oh, this is beautiful.
(02:19:45):
We might have to put a warning on this thing, but it's fine.
Ladies and gentlemen, thank you so much for being here with us
for a full year of celebrating this beautiful man at Policy and
the Green Bay Packers. Just so much fun.
We'll do it again next year. Until next week.
(02:20:09):
I think we got, I think we got to let it drop again.
Is it coming around again? I think so.
I think so, but I wanted to makesure it got to the first effect.
57 seconds it drops the first time and so I wanted to make
sure I could. I'm pretty sure it's going to
drop again. So we got it.
We got to do it one more time for for our guy.
(02:20:29):
I'm down, I'm down for it. Oh my gosh, the word the late,
great Ed Hollis. Love you guys.
Happy Ed Hollis today. Go pack.
(02:20:50):
Good. We're going to get a cop.
Great. Go pack.
(02:21:24):
Go, folks.
