(00:00):
I woke up 1 morning just a regular small Green Bay was
restless. Spirit ran low and then it hit
me. I had to let it show.
So shout it so loud. Go, pack.
Go. But the fans started roaring.
(00:38):
Lambeau Field shook from the very first moment.
That's all it took down the line.
If I told you, I could bare the thought.
Stealing a chance some soccer team God.
No need for a Viking to borrow June.
I choose out the power of the frozen monsoon.
(01:02):
The apps did you create? Did you buy online?
But that's not my policy. These words are mine here.
Go back gold. Go back gold.
(01:23):
Go back gold, go back, go. Did you hear that?
She's head spit. Go back, go.
He was hot up and loud screaminggo back, go said, you know we
ain't no choir. Go back, go.
So we shouted so loud. Go back, go, go back.
(01:50):
Go Yeah. Go back.
Go back. Welcome back to Derailed.
(02:11):
I am your host JJ Leahy here with Jake Chavink and the one
and only Matt Ramage, friend of the show, long time Packer
backer, bear hater, cowboy troller, Viking dumper on.
And he's been our good luck charm for a while now.
(02:31):
OK, we've had Matt on derailed acouple times and like, you know,
I'm not I'm not saying that it'slike a surefire lock guarantee,
but anytime he comes on here, the Packers win their next game.
I'm just saying. So it's been a minute since we
we had you on here, Matt. Appreciate you making time to
talk to us once again. Super excited to talk about the
(02:54):
Dallas Cowboys and Jerry Jones and Micah Parsons and the butt
whipping the the Green Bay Packers are about to hand out to
the Dallas Cowboys. 2 questions #1 How excited are you that
we're playing the Cowboys and #2Are you more excited about the
Cowboys game or being on this podcast?
(03:18):
Probably been been on this podcast, you know, because I
don't have to do anything. I just drink that.
That was my whole preparation. I just sat here drinking 'cause
I was like I was really tired. I only saw like 2 hours last
night 'cause doing these live games that I do, it's like
kicking the crap out of me. But I was like I can't be over
here sober. He didn't ask me to come out and
talk to him sober. So I told my wife, you know, I
(03:40):
have to get after it. I had to knuckle down and get
after it, slug some beers and come on the The Derailed podcast
because I have to. First of all, my show should be
called the derailed 'cause I'm like, I don't know if it's ADD
what's going on, but like I, I'mall over the place, but I'm
excited about this Cowboys game.First of all, after that, that
Browns disaster. I'm excited 'cause, you know,
(04:01):
just go out here and stomp the Cowboys down and people kind of
forget about that. It's AFC game.
It sucked. And maybe the Browns are the
greatest of all time. We'll find out throughout the
rest of the year. Doesn't seem like it before this
game, but obviously their defense was good.
But I just want them to to go out here and like kind of first
of all, make me feel better, like the often to line to play
(04:21):
good, like just show me that allthe hype that we've been given
wasn't fake. And I I don't I I don't think it
was, but I'm excited, JJ, you know what I mean?
And and you know, I knew I was doing the show all day at work.
As I was slanging that cheese atthe cheese factory.
I was thinking, JJ, I don't knowwhy I had that sound in my head.
(04:42):
I told my wife about it and she's.
You're not the only one. She said don't say that on the
podcast. So then I knew at that moment I
was gonna. Very sorry, Missus Ramage.
Speaking of Missus Ramage. Hi, Jake.
Thanks for joining. Always, always, always.
What if if we're going over lastweek, I got to play a clip from
last week's show, but I know we're gonna talk a lot of
(05:04):
Dallas. Oh, you brought you brought
something for us. I'm so happy.
Yeah, I did. Now, we'll, we'll get there.
Anybody, anybody who tuned on inhere and too old for this says
why wasn't Matt on last week? Yeah.
I mean, if you had been on last week, then we would have beaten
the Browns or maybe broken your special good luck charm you had
with us, you know. But for anybody who did TuneIn
(05:27):
last week, you may notice two things.
One, Mr. Jake Schabank did pick the Browns to win that game.
So don't say we didn't tell you so.
And then secondly, you know, we basically previewed for you that
it was going to be a slog. It was going to be not a very
fun watch. And that the the Cleveland
(05:49):
Browns were going to need a lot of help from their from our
special teams and our offense making things easy on them by by
turning the ball over or making huge mistakes.
And like I'm telling you, if youdo not tune into this show for
your previews of these upcoming games, boy, I feel bad for you
'cause you must get surprised anawful lot.
(06:11):
So tell your friends, tell your neighbors, tell your wife TuneIn
to derailed. You're gonna get all the, all
the the breakdowns. Jake, you wanna roll the clip?
Yeah, I want the clip. Yeah, yeah, I want the clip.
And, and, and I think that we'regonna have to talk about.
Oh, Oh yeah, let's see what thisis.
Yeah. Oh, my gosh.
(06:31):
This Adam Huddle says feels likea swishing your interception.
Was he? Is he the one who got the
interception? Who?
No, it was. It was.
No, it was. It was Grant Dumpa.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it was. But 1613 I said it was going to
be a weird game, and turns out it was totally fine for like 56
minutes and everything went S from there.
(06:55):
Everything that we said could gopotentially go wrong, that could
make this weird went wrong and made it weird.
That's all I had. Yeah, I said a bunch of times
that if we played well, it was going to be 17 zero.
If we didn't play well, it was going to be 13 zero and it was
going to be 13 zero prior to random picking the lowest field
(07:16):
goal you've ever seen. And then, you know, Rich
Mustachio, Rich Mustachio out there.
So, you know, I was on well on my way to A130 and you know,
we'd be all a lot a little happier, I think.
And maybe Ram would be slightly less drunk.
Never know. Probably not, but maybe.
Probably not 'cause I, you know, sometimes you're celebrating
drunk, sometimes you're like saddrunk.
(07:39):
That's true. Either way, you're having a good
time. That's.
True, we do. We do have we have some people
in the chat here. Tool for this says he wants to
see a Musgrave jet sweep. Oh no, he doesn't want Musgrave
jet sweep. Oh, I would.
I would told him you. Already put it out in the
universe. He already put it out there.
It's happening. At least he didn't say 4th down
(08:01):
on there, you know. But you're welcome.
Too old for this if the Packers.Win the Super.
Bowl This season, I'm going to buy you a Luke Musgrave jersey.
I'm going to send it to your house with the Super Bowl patch
on it. That's what.
That's what you need right there.
(08:21):
He's not going to be able to getrid of it because he's going to
be like, it's like, Oh my gosh, this has a got it.
JJ sent it to me and like, I hate the guy, but I mean, come
on, I I can't. Oh, boy.
Dershow wants to know how much redacted did it get to coerce
Ramage to come on tonight? Now, Ramage, I don't know how
(08:42):
often you tune into our live stream.
I know you watch this very frequently, but maybe you know
or don't know what redacted is and so you know, just fill in
the blank in your own mind. How much redacted did it take
for us to coerce you on here? Actually, you mentioned me one
night and I was drinking and I was just like drinking.
I say, yes, I'm like, oh, yeah, let's have that.
No, I, I, I've been out here before.
(09:04):
It's always fun. I, I like this show because it's
derailed and it's, that's kind of like what I am.
It's just like, you know, you just bounce around, talk about
whatever. And we only have one smart
person here. You know it's not JJ.
Wow, wow. No, cuz whenever I cuz I do
TuneIn once in a while cuz I tryto I I I people that subscribe
to and follow whatever people onFacebook, whether it's on
(09:26):
YouTube, I always try to watch like some streams I don't watch
like a lot. You know everything but.
I try. Oh, you don't watch our three
hour live. Stream I try to.
Five hours free mica trade. That was just for five hours.
Why do we do that? I, I miss them and I, it's
probably good to miss that one. That thing we were running out
of beer on that one. I can't believe.
That yeah, yeah. They don't have enough beer at
(09:46):
Quick Trip for that. I don't think so.
I don't. Think so, Yeah, if, if, if your
streams are longer than Rogan's podcast, like, dude, that's
that's long. That's a lot of talking.
Yeah, dude, I do. Like like sometimes I do.
Like we have to after midnight we have to stop drinking beer
and start drinking redacted energy.
Yeah, dude, but I've I've done like 6 hour streams like for
(10:06):
like game days cuz I do the gamewatches and like dude the next
day like I can't talk and like especially like a Packer game
comes screaming more but like yeah dude, I don't know like
talking a lot does something to the vocal cords.
I don't know. It really does.
I'm surprised my wife's, you know, hers is always so clear.
(10:26):
She says so many words a day. I was like, you should have a
podcast. And I know she's sleeping right
now, so I know I can say that joke.
My my wife should definitely have a podcast because she is a
much better public speaker than I am so.
I always say it to people at work who, like, talk a lot.
I was like, I don't know why I have a pod.
You should have a podcast and just Yammer all this stuff out
(10:48):
in the world so we don't got to hear it, you know what I mean?
But they don't like when you saysomething like that work.
The art of podcasting is purely just a confidence game.
Do you have the confidence to goand and talk for a while into a
microphone and let yourself be judged?
And if you do, then you are a podcaster.
It helps if if you feel like youare just above the average
(11:14):
attractiveness level to where you can go on camera as the
three of us are. You know, most, most podcasters
have to stay off camera because.I don't think anyone with like
an eye like mine can consider themselves like above average
and good looking. I think the eye you could be
Brad Pitt. You got one eye cocked off to
the left side like you're not. It's not working for you dude.
(11:37):
You're. Not looking.
I kind of want to see Brad Pitt with the eye.
Dude, we're the graphic people in the chat, you know what I
mean? Make that happen.
Give me Brad Pitt. Give me, give me all of them.
Leo DiCaprio. In his prime.
Give us. Live Photoshop.
Streams. I bet Matt, I bet if one of us
gets ranting, JJ will do it while we're ranting right here.
(11:57):
I bet he could get that done. It would not be the first time,
dude. It wouldn't be hard to get me in
a rant. I did been roughed.
Look, I got the eye going on on this week's thumbnail, so yeah.
I saw that cuz I when when I first saw I was like you gotta
get the eye right. You know what I mean the eye has
to be right hat looks good. I like.
It then then you see our friend in the background.
(12:19):
Yeah, I love that the Cowboys lost to the Bears.
They lost to the Bear. Yeah.
It doesn't like a ghost. Dude.
That's looking at. That trade killed him, dude.
And then he tried to convince everyone he wanted.
I I think that was my favorite part about that trade
afterwards, like, oh, he's paralyzed.
The back is broke. He's like Mike Tyson.
(12:40):
My back is broke. Like dude, the whole cell, like
I won the trade thing was just hilarious to me.
And he just tried to like, they were pumping out information
about the back and everyone was like commenting on my Facebook,
like, oh, he's got a hurt back and he's not going to play half
the year. I'm like, dude, all right,
believe that if you want. Like it's hilarious.
He's out there week one. Second year golf you.
(13:02):
Know. Throwing up a enormous pressure
rate and just like, just just wrecking crap.
And then the Cowboys just get absolutely blown up by Caleb
Williams, dude. They're like, it's his career
game. Like yeah, I bet it is against
the Dallas Cowboys did. I I wish we could all play
against the Cowboys every week. Yeah, at least we can this week.
(13:23):
Yo, we can't. And then they have to.
Dude, come out here, punch them in the throat.
Dude, I want to see Jerry Jones just gasping air.
He's up there like a little sweet.
He's going to leave. Yeah.
Imagine if Green Bay wins like 49 to 14 or something like that.
Mike has like 3 sacks. Love is doing what he did in the
in the wild card game. Like Jerry won't be there.
(13:44):
Do it. He'd be like a time for him to.
Be gone. Yeah.
He's gonna go on. Massage, Yeah, I would love
that. Dude, that would be so great.
The Packers went so much. Jerry Jones just walks off.
That would be like, I mean, I don't even care.
I mean, I, I hope that when a Super Bowl and all the things
happen, but like, if that happened that he just walked
off, that would just be special.I'd hold that in my heart
(14:05):
forever. I.
Was going to fly to Cleveland towatch the Rangers finale.
Instead he's just so tired. He was like, I don't want to be
here. That would be fantastic.
I hope it happens. The Packers have to play just
mad angry like dude, everyone hyped you up, everything was all
jacked up and then they're just tearing you down right now,
which is certainly so cool. They played like crap, the
offense, the line, the offense, defense did their job, but like
(14:28):
just come out here and show everyone all right, that was a
fluke. That was you know, maybe I think
that maybe they're feeling I don't know if if athletes
actually listen to the media andlike kind of feed off it.
I assume not some maybe do I don't know.
I'm not an athlete, but I can drink pretty good.
But I, I, I something happened. I don't know if if they were
feeling themselves too much, butthat offensive line dude, like,
(14:50):
dude, that, that, that game, that, you know, that game made
me, I, I tried to watch it a second time to like be a
professional podcaster, no stuff.
And I was like, no, don't want to do that.
That game. Yeah, no, it was brutal.
But also it's an AFC game. So like now that's over, it's
like, all right, whatever. It sucked.
The Packers are getting trashed like I'm getting trashed because
(15:10):
I was you know, I was more confident than you guys.
I was like I remember making like talking about my live
stream, like, oh, everyone talk about the Browns defense, but
look what the Ravens said. Yeah, all right, I was wrong and
that'll happen a lot probably happened some more this season.
Hopefully not this week, but I Inot that I thought the Browns
defense like it was over hyped. I thought I knew that they were
good. They got my aired over there.
(15:31):
Like obviously they're gonna. I knew that their pass rush,
that they're lying is good. I just thought, you know, the
Packers didn't have to score a lot of points to win, which was
true. But they didn't do it.
They didn't score enough. And that field goal?
Well, that's the question I havefor the question I have for both
of you was like, obviously it was just a complete and utter
bleep show as far as offense wasconcerned.
(15:53):
And then I would say the same for for special teams as well.
But my the question that I thinkis worth Monday morning
quarterbacking is, is there anything from this game it
actually concerns us going forward?
Because a lot of what we saw wasjust like, yeah, we know what it
looks like when the Packers don't show up.
We know what it looks like when the offensive line can't get any
(16:15):
cohesion and, and and, you know, and the the interior is giving
up pressures every single play. And then you're shuffling guys
around and there's Miles Garrettand, you know, Malik and
everybody there. Like we know what that type of
game looks like. So how much from this game
actually has a concern going forward?
(16:35):
Am I going? I'll go.
Yeah, I don't know who's going first.
I think that, I think the weird thing is in Derschel's in the
comments doing the same thing. I I don't know what I mean.
Again, Tom got hurt and so that kind of threw a wrench in things
immediately. But but like, maybe that
shouldn't have been the plan from the start, you know?
Yeah, it it should have been honestly, I don't know, it just
it felt weird like, OK, you know, let's rush Tom back
(16:58):
because, you know, we we need him against Cleveland.
Like, I get it. And obviously that happened.
The pass rush was, you know, notOh my gosh, you've already done
it. That's incredible.
This is brought to you by redacted energy.
This this photo. But yeah, I mean, if it that was
I think the biggest thing. It was just like, OK, we're just
going to see where Jordan Morgancan play.
(17:19):
It's like, what? What do you mean you are against
this defensive line? It's not pre season.
Like it was just very weird thatthey were trying that out during
this game and that I just think Morgan is that reminded me of
the Vikings game last year that they rushed Jordan back for
yeah, that where it was felt like we're out of sorts
(17:39):
immediately. Matt was so Matt Lafleur was so
concerned about something with the game.
You know, and last year Willis man, playing the Vikings defense
was so good. You know, I got to have I got to
have Jordan back or this game. It's like, oh, man.
Like we could clearly see Miles Garrett was in Matt Lafleur's
head that he was really scared of trying to stop Miles Garrett.
(18:02):
And so, hey, let's rush back ourour best tackle because then we
have, you know, a puncher's chance at at holding back.
And it's like, OK, but why was this your plan A like you should
have had a cohesive plan going into this game of what your
starting 5 was going to be and who was actually accustomed to
(18:25):
playing next to each other and and who had been rehearsing how
they're actually going to be blocking this this defensive
line. Yeah, dude, I think that I've
seen smart people talk about this offense line because to me,
the offensive line is like the my weakest point and I have a
lot of weak points, but like, I don't know much about offensive
line, but they need to stop likemoving people around.
(18:46):
Like like like people talking about Jordan Morgan, let him get
comfortable with the spot because he had a horrible game
like that that that was that. That was rough.
But so like let him get good like at a spot.
And I get it, like with injuries, you got to move people
around. But like the offensive line is
what scares me. Like after that game, it kind of
worries me. I hopefully they can fix it.
(19:07):
Like you said, I'm not no offensive line guru.
It's like the least I know. I'm not watching film on
offensive lineman. That's just not what I'm going
to do in my life. But I know I'm glad people do
it. I'm glad smart people do it.
But like, I'm not going to do itand I'll listen to them and then
I'll repeat what they say. But the offensive line I think
is the issue going into the season, secondary wasn't kind of
cornerbacks, but they've been handling their own and I'm
(19:28):
excited about that. I try to even talk about them
because I don't even want to like, you know, people tell me
on Facebook I'm a jinx. So I just try not to say nothing
about them. But I I think the offensive line
like is the issue. But is it only the issue that
when we play big beastly defensive line, but that's not
good either because come playofftime, who, who are you playing?
You're playing teams that are good and good teams that have a
good defensive line. So they have to figure out they
(19:50):
have. Come on, we're not going to face
the Eagles in the playoffs. That's not going to happen.
What are the odds? You know what I mean?
You can't play the Lions. And we already beat the Lions
one time. We're gonna have to play them
again, yeah. Dude, Lion fans are a funny
bunch too. They've been getting after me,
dude, because I got after them. So, you know, I kind of had a
comment, but like after that winthat they're all, I mean, like
(20:12):
we beat them and until they beatus, we got it.
And they're like, well, the lasttwo years.
All right, let's talk about the past.
If you want to talk about the past, let's talk about the last
40 years. In like 1957, Lions have people
retiring early, All Star Hall ofFame players like I'm out of
here, I don't want to do it no more.
(20:32):
And then they're good for two years.
They act like they're a freakingdynasty.
You expect like Tom Brady to talk like this, like Patriot fan
know which they did first of all, but the Lion fan just drive
me nuts and then they get mad when I talk.
Dude, I got like AI don't want to get into it, but I got I got
a pretty severe death threat, but so I'm not going to go to
Detroit. Have fun, I've been there.
(20:53):
At least I don't, I don't, I don't want to say the whole
thing because I'm not going to give him like whatever, but he's
basically said don't go to Detroit.
And I, I'm like, yeah, I don't, I'm not going to.
That's not one of the cities I'metching to go to.
I shouldn't say that if they're watching.
The Lions fans are gonna be evenmore ridiculous because they're
they're at home. They're gonna play Cleveland
next week. They're gonna be by 24,
whatever. And then be like, see, this is
(21:15):
that's not hard to beat the Browns.
It's like. Yeah, cool.
But that's what I do like cuz I do like Lion fans.
Like for the most part, like I've met Lion fans over at
Lambeau Field and like, I, I getalong great with Lion fans.
Like all the fan base, it's not personal, but like the Lions,
Lion fans on the Internet, like they get so excited about like
the littlest things. So let's just wait.
(21:36):
Cuz that, that's what I like about this rivalry.
It's like starting to get alive and they're gonna beat Cleveland
and then they're gonna talk, which I would do the same thing
cuz I don't blame them about that.
But like, come Thanksgiving, dude, dude, we will see like
where the Packers are, where theLions are, who wins that game.
It's going to be a beautiful thing.
I'm glad that this rivalry is reduced a little bit.
And I say that, but that little bit of coping, you know, I mean,
(21:58):
cuz I don't want to be good. I don't want any rather be good.
I want the Packers to dominate all of them.
But you know what I mean? You got to say that.
But I think this, this season, NFC North is going to be going
to be nasty. Besides the Bears, they're not
doing nothing. I I hope not.
But they did look really good against the Cowboys, and I'll
give them credit because even though they're just the Cowboys,
(22:19):
I hate when people say it was just they're all NFL teams.
They played very well against them and I expect the Packers to
do the same. But you still gotta give a team
props when they handle A-Team like that.
Yeah, people definitely do that after two weeks.
They think, oh, this team's really good.
They will never lose. And they think like, oh, this
team's terrible. They'll never win.
And it's like it's never the gaps, never that big.
(22:41):
It's never that big. We just saw it.
The Browns. The Browns beat Green Bay again.
Green Bay gave it away, Yes, butit's, you know, they showed up
to play Carolina and Atlanta. What happened?
Yeah, like, are you serious, Atlanta?
Like. But Carolina says no, we're
gonna, we're gonna show up like.Well, they look at the.
Packers the first two weeks, thePackers, everyone, dude, not
(23:03):
just fans, cuz fans are gonna talk like people like me are
gonna talk and oh, they're goingto see whatever.
But like people on, you know, the, the TV, which I don't
really watch, but I saw a lot ofclips.
Everyone was saying oh the Packers on the team, you know,
after like 2 weeks earlier they were saying they sucked and then
they're the greatest thing in the world and then they lose to
the Browns. Like oh the Packers, I always
thought they were they suck, butlook at the Bears.
They beat the Cowboys by all these points.
Look at Detroit and they're talking about all the.
(23:24):
Memory of a goldfish. Yeah.
And then so that they're going to hoist these teams up now and
then when they lose, like, oh, wrong, that team sucks, but look
at this team over here and they're just going to keep
bouncing around to like the certain five teams in the
league. And that that's what it is.
It was cool. I actually enjoyed hearing
people talk good about the Packers for a little bit, but
then it got me nervous. And then for that reason,
(23:45):
because then and you end up losing like Rashid Walkers over
there, we might never lose the game again.
Maybe, you know, I could say that players shouldn't say that.
Yeah, right, right. Listen, I like the confidence,
but I like what Mike has said about that too.
Like Rashid, you could keep thatenergy in the building.
You don't need to tell people that you're doing that.
But like, I loved it. I love the mentality.
I have no problem with the mentality at all.
(24:05):
Once you once that gets out, they're gunning for you
immediately. Yeah, you're playing next.
So yeah, there's definitely that.
And like, again, every every place on planet Earth right now,
Chargers, they're unbelievable. Who will stop them if they lose
to Jackson Dart in the Giants this week?
What are they going to say aboutthem?
Yeah, they're going to flip. What?
(24:26):
They're going to complete 180. Oh, look, it's the same old
Chargers. We were just kidding.
It's not the Chargers aren't theChargers anymore.
No, they are. Like, it's just we have to first
month. We're still gathering data about
these teams. We don't there there should be
no like early unless you're on three, sorry, like you're not
making the playoffs. Probably if you're on three,
like let's just, you know, call a spade a spade.
(24:47):
Probably Houston, sorry, we'll be seeing you next year.
But like other than that, like one, those teams are going to
win. But yeah, I think you know of of
the three and O teams, like there's six of them right now.
Like there's there's going to bea team, one of those probably
who's, you know, six and four, six and five by November.
And it's like what happened? And it's like, well, you know,
(25:08):
teams adjust, you know, cream starts rising a little bit,
right? These Chiefs and Ravens one and
two starts probably aren't goingto hold.
Like there's going to be a lot more movement.
So it's yeah, everybody wants toget out those sweeping judgement
takes and be like, oh, I was outthere, I was out there, you
know, real early and in the season.
And it's like, OK, but you know, teams, teams are going to lose
(25:32):
guys, all all this stuff. There's there's just so much to.
This Yeah, there's something moving parts in trying to in the
NFL, like you say, like injuries.
It up real early and and send itout, send the package out before
like, you know, we've we've got like the whole picture it it is
wild. Yeah, especially this year too
with like the the games that arebeing played early, so many
(25:52):
division games, so many good games.
There's so many good games that have been played so far.
And it's like a knock off punch.Like look at the Chiefs.
I don't know who exactly they played.
I know the record isn't good, but like there's so many good
division games going on. So I feel like all the, the
divisions starting off are like really, really tight and
(26:13):
they're, you know, especially the NFC North, which is all I
care about really. There are there are 6 O and
three teams right now. If you guys had to pick one then
to make the playoffs and I'll read them off to.
You. Which one?
Which one would you give the thebest odds to?
So in the NFC we have the Saintsand the Giants and the AFC we
have The Jets, Dolphins, Texans and Titans.
(26:35):
If you had to pick one of those six to make the playoffs, where
you going? AM I going to go back on what I
just said about Houston probablyasked the question because,
yeah, I mean, it just depends onwhat you think.
Like if the Colts are, if DanielJones is going to, you know,
continue with this ridiculous EPA per play rate for this
offense. Like and like we've seen
(26:58):
Jacksonville, they don't have it.
Lawrence doesn't have it. I don't think it.
He's played like 65 games. I think that's done.
And like the Titans are severelyunder manned.
So they could maybe do it, but Idon't know.
It's just that they feel so behind the 8 ball they can't
protect anybody. Like Strout is getting just
battered back there. Dude.
(27:18):
Constantly it's nuts. Like I feel like it's the Titans
this coming week and I still think Jeffrey Simmons.
I'm a little worried about Strout, honestly, Like maybe
they can just triple team him. But like, you know, the rest of
your lines not that good. So yeah, I I feel like it's
probably Houston, but even then.Yeah, I'm not sure any of those
(27:41):
teams like I watched Houston andlike I was watching because I I
did a live stream for that and Iwas like, this guy is better
than enjoying love. Like I mean, I I hate not CD
straw, but like that team did not look good.
I wasn't excited about it, but like, I don't think any of these
teams make the playoffs. But like he said, Houston, I
think I think that's probably one of the teams that you would
(28:02):
look at if any of them do it, but I'll say Miami and not
because I think that'll happen, but because I like their coach.
He's funny. He says funny stuff and I want
them to be in the media just so I can hear him say funny.
I know a lot some people don't think it's funny at all.
See, that's good right there. I'm I'm on a screenshot that and
make a make a just like. Me and I'll just send it to you.
(28:23):
I'll just send it to. You and.
I'll say me and Brad Pitt are the same dude.
We are the same, just as good looking as you know that's.
Just as much money, just as. Many players, yeah, we have all
that. I have all the.
I have so many awards. He's looking.
I mean awards. Like when I was in school, I got
some awards too. I mean, most of them were
(28:44):
ribbons, but all of them. But they're there.
They call it. But yeah, but I'll say Miami
just because I like their coach.I think he's funny.
He's, I mean, I don't know if he'd be funny if he was my coach
because he's someone else's coach.
And he says I would. I don't want my my coach
cracking jokes after a loss. You know, I like jokes, but
like, I don't want Matt Lafleur to be out there.
(29:04):
Like, yeah, we might have had four sacks, but you know, I'm
just hitting zingers. I don't have a joke set up for
that, but I wish I did. But like, I don't, I don't need
them hitting zingers at the end of a game.
But other teams coaches Zing away, dude, Zing away.
It's a little bit like, like JimHarbaugh, like, a lot of people
like to really laugh at him. And like, when he's winning, you
know, people find his quirkinessendearing.
(29:24):
And when you're losing, you're like, all right, what are you?
Dude, you're. Weird.
Please stop. Doing it and win some freaking.
Games that is like me at work, like like when things go really
bad at work, I'll just start like cracking jokes and
sometimes not appropriate, like everything is going bad.
It's chaos. The managers are in disarray.
They're all freaking out and I'll walk up to like my boss.
(29:45):
Like what kind of shit show you running over here?
Like just try to like lighten itup a little bit.
Sometimes it lands, sometimes, you know, I think I'm about to
get sent home, but. Yeah, you don't.
Need that like real important times you don't need someone
like hitting out one liners, butwhen you're watching from a
distance though Miami, who cares?
(30:07):
I laugh, I like. It hey, they were doing some
really fun stuff on offense a couple years ago and like I,
yeah, I'm I'm never going to forget all those fun tight end
screens and. Stuff.
What about Tyree Hill? He's either bawling or he's
yelling and complaining about everything or having children.
I think he has a lot of those. I'm.
Not sure even Stefan digs. They got a lot of kids now.
Yeah, they got their own. If they work hard enough,
(30:28):
they're going to catch up to Phillip Rivers at some point.
The East is wild, yeah. Are we talking just kids or just
like the teams? The teams.
The teams. Dude, that's what they should
do. They should figure out how many
kids each team has. Like of all the players counting
up all the kids they have and then those the most versus the
the least, they play each other, that's what.
(30:51):
You have the kids play each other, the kids play each other.
I didn't think that through whenI was saying it.
I'm so I apologize. That's why I worked this stuff
out on your show. None of mine.
Rivers will come back. He's got like. 11 Yeah, Rivers
is like, I will not be dominating this field.
He's going to field his own team.
Just him. Yeah.
(31:12):
He's like I got 2. Basketball teams, I can get a
third. Rivers family versus the
Dolphins, Who wins? Yeah, a family tree is just a
Bush. Can any of them cover Hill and
waddle though? You know, that's the problem.
Hey, we, I mean, you know, Phil Rivers is probably the pressure
athlete of all time. You know what we got to find out
(31:33):
how athletic misses Rivers is because that that's true.
That might play a factor in this.
Maybe he's got some of those speedy kids.
Steve wants to know who has a bigger impact this Sunday, Micah
or Kenny Clark? I'm going to, I'm going to
answer that question with a question, how could Kenny Clark
possibly have a bigger impact than Micah Parsons?
(31:55):
I don't. Exactly.
They're gonna run it. But yeah, it's Micah Parsons for
sure to me. And I feel like Micah Parsons,
you could ask that question every single week and more times
than not, he's gonna be the answer.
Like you could, you could argue like against Cleveland, Miles
Garrett, you know, there's all those comparisons.
But Micah Parsons, like his impact, because I think his
impact goes way beyond just whathe does on the field.
(32:16):
He lifts people up. I mean, I, I feel like it's not
even let people up. Like he's such a great,
fantastic leader because that people are trash.
Me like when when I was saying that, but not even that, but
like when you're playing with a guy of that caliber, like even
like when players are playing with Charles Woodson or whoever
you want to name, like they don't have to say it.
They just like, I can't let thisdude down.
This guy is like, you know, theylike they see him at a certain
(32:37):
level. They don't want to be the
weakest link. So I feel like it lifts everyone
up and it helps just because he's getting all the attention
and Rashawn, Gary Vaness, other guys can, you know, not have
double teams. So I think Parsons is is huge
when he's on the field. Well, the other thing too is
that the Packers were mega, super duper nice to Kenny Clark
(33:01):
for a very long time. And like Kenny Clark is just not
a vindictive dude. Like Micah Parsons wants to
humiliate the Cowboys and Jerry Jones and Kenny Clark does not
hate the Green Bay Packers. It's just, it's, it's apples
and. Oranges.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah.
For sure. Yeah, That's a good point.
Yeah. Micah Parsons, he's talking to
(33:22):
everyone a lot. And like, yo, when we go into
Dallas, dude, don't have a bad game.
You're not going to be at my house for dinner.
Like, But yeah, Kenny Clark, I don't feel like he has love for
the Packers. Packers have love for Kenny.
I love Kenny Clark. Kenny Clark one of the nicest
Soup did my podcast more times than like any player besides
like Tom Crabtree. But he was like the most active
player. He would do like every
(33:42):
offseason, so he was super cool and it was horrible.
Like when I first started, it was like on a speakerphone,
asked him his favorite color. I didn't know what I was doing.
I'm like, what do you do for fun?
No, but like. Kenny Clark is super.
That's. Amazing.
No, like when you like my early days I was so bad.
So every player that came on after that, I was like, all
right, that guy's, I don't know.He, he's loyal to the Packer
(34:06):
fans. He's just being nice.
He's not doing this for anythingelse.
But but yeah, Kenny Clark's a nice guy.
I, I think Michael Parson's probably a nice guy too.
But I do feel like he has that alittle bit of he want dude, he'd
love to embarrass Jerry Jones. He'd love to get 4 sacks and
just humiliate the whole, the whole day.
I'm not saying he's going to get4 sacks, but I'm not against it.
(34:26):
Why not? I'll say it, you guys.
You guys know that clip of of Micah in the locker room and for
some reason he's in the lion's locker room and he says, like, I
hate quarterbacks, like right infront of Jared Goff.
And Jared's like, wait, what? You hate me.
That's what I want, dude. That's what you want from a from
(34:47):
a dividend player, especially a password.
You want someone who like, just like don't even want to talk to
their own quarterback. They asked me, hey, what do you
think about your quarterback? I hate quarterbacks.
They all suck. That's what I want to hear.
From Yeah, yeah. He's my.
Friend. Oh, that's my dog over there.
Like just, that's all, he says. Like no, no, no.
Yeah. Once we're between the lines,
(35:07):
right type of thing. Yeah, I, I it'll be Micah for
sure. It's Kenny's got a lot on his
shoulders, especially this week.I know he got.
I know he got hurt. During the game.
But I don't, I don't know if they said anything about it, him
not playing this week, but it would be disappointing if he
doesn't play. I I think we do want to see him
out there in the field, like having having to be on the
(35:28):
sidelines for this game. Nobody wants to see that.
Right. No, that would suck.
No, and and I mean a lot of pressure on him because I think
last week Ezraaku, Neeland, Houston all had like 0% pass
rush win rate against the Bears. Not ideal.
Probably why Caleb's carving youup for the most part, because
(35:49):
you're just simply not getting any wins one V1.
And so if Kenny has to carry that load, I mean, that's that's
going to be difficult for him. And and that's the thing, like
you guys were talking, Parsons doesn't have to carry the load
right? Like he is.
He just has to be around and you're going to get into those
like cheetah packages where Van Ness can just bull rush guards
(36:10):
and and and Gary's going to get wins, right?
And and they're going to bring the linebackers.
They're going to bring a corner and, and happily being able to
just, you know, do whatever he wants when it's third and seven
because he got a guy who can go go get a win and he's like,
well, all right, what else can Ido here in in a lot of these
looks. So yeah, Mike is going to have a
massive impact on this one. I, I, I could see 2 1/2 three
(36:32):
sacks. I'm not sure.
I don't think that's impossible.Do we got 4?
Do we got five over here? We got 6.
I mean as a as a whole the team probably will right?
Like Terence Steele has been horrendous at right tackle for
them. Rookie Tyler or second year guy
Tyler Guyton, that left tackle is not it's not going well.
They lost Cooper Beebe. I think they just lost one of
their guards again as well. Like, so they're down to guys
(36:55):
this week and it's it's already a struggling unit like.
Yeah, and, and I think that likewhen other players go to play
that they're like their old team.
And I've heard this from in the past from different players,
like they want to play up. Like when Farb went to the
Vikings and he was playing the Packers, all the Vikings players
like, oh, we wanted to play up because we want him to get this
win. So I feel like that it's going
to be the same thing now that they're gonna play harder.
(37:16):
Like they're like, I wasn't gonna play hard at all, but now
I'm really gonna give her because I don't think that
players really think that. But I do think that they're
gonna be, there's gonna be like a hyped up energy and the
Cowboys and the Packers, you know, I don't know if the
players really feel that rivalry, but like, I think, you
know, Jordan Love, some of thoseguys have played them in the
playoffs. They probably feel a little bit
of it. But yeah, I feel like they're
(37:36):
going to be amped up. And after this loss is an
embarrassing loss. I feel like everyone, any
players like competitive people, not me, but like competitive
people, when they like lose and something bad happens, they like
really get fired up. So, and I really hope they do
because I want this. I don't want to just win, I want
to embarrass him because of the cowboy fan I know at work too.
(37:57):
You know what I mean? Oh yeah, I don't know I'm that
good, but I will come talk to him.
I don't. We've never talked before, but I
saw him walking to work a few times at the cowboy's head and
I'm looking forward to having a conversation.
Or not if need be. I love it.
I love it. I do have.
(38:18):
I do have for us right here I. Hate.
Quarterbacks we. Already saw that before.
Do you hate me? But I do have that and then I
also. You get that you.
Just see this guy on the broadcast from the college.
I see this you. Yeah.
Yeah, dude, I got tagged. People said that was me.
Yeah, Matt Ramage in the crowd, dude, I got.
(38:39):
Tagged on that like every website and I feel like it
started on Twitter, but then people like took it to Facebook
and I was like and I, I just started agreeing like Yep, now
you guys know the truth. I never take my shirt off in
public and This is why I get, you know, ridiculed.
Too much attention. Yeah, I don't need this in my
life, but actually just messagedme.
He said that knew him and like you want him on the podcast.
I was like, maybe? I just really want you to do
(39:04):
this again come playoff time when it's, you know, 20 below.
I want to see you do this again. So make it happen, Matt.
If you see that guy, just know it's me and that'll be me as
it's happening, and then you'll know it's me.
Perfect. That guy in the picture probably
hates Matt for getting all the credit.
(39:26):
Yeah, he does. He's like that fat guy, he hate
me. He ain't pets like text.
No, show him that guy. You know, I mean I'm not trying
to mess make anyone that big annoyed with me.
So show to that guy, hope he's having a good time and I hope
you enjoyed the game. Wouldn't he write across his
chest like the top board clearlysays welcome.
(39:46):
But then like, what in the worldwould he write underneath that
welcome? I don't know what it is.
I don't know, something awesome,I'm sure, just in case I run
into this guy at one point. Like I saw you on the Over That
Derail podcast talking trash. I don't need that in my life.
I can't fight or run. I used to be able to not fight,
but I could run. Now I'm kind of fat, so I can't
(40:09):
fight or run. That changes your attitude, how
you talk to people. You get real friendly.
Well, Mr. Packer bodybuilder, come on this podcast and get
railed with us. It's going to be a good old
time. What?
We'll invite Matt on No. Wait, wait, I thought.
It was what? Get railed with us.
Hey, I'm not going to be on thatone.
Sorry I didn't realize what I didn't see this on the schedule
(40:31):
so. I'm not, I'm not available that
one. No, I mean not.
There's anything wrong with that.
Here we go. Let's get removed.
That's has to be what it is. Welcome, Parsons.
Also, it looks like there's a one kind of like above the rest
of whatever that wording is. I feel like whoever wrote that
(40:54):
was probably drinking pretty early, you know?
I mean, they're good after. It welcome.
Well, that questions and that's.You know, I mean, cause it's,
it's game man. You're like close enough.
You don't need all letters. Throw a number in there.
Yeah. By the way, by the way, thanks
for inviting me into the Mat cave.
Rammage. This is pretty.
This is pretty sweet, Jake. I wish you would have come too.
(41:16):
That's that's this is pretty. This is pretty good here.
I get there so fast. That's not creepy at all.
I've been, I've been in here, you know, since we started the
live stream. Yeah, it was there three hours
ago for prep, that's what. I didn't even notice that.
No, but it's funny because people always talk about it like
I want to tour, you know, your your spot, you got the epic, you
(41:39):
know, man cave. Like, no, I don't like my
basement is like I have a brokenrefrigerator of a toilet right
here. No wall around it didn't even
have running water. I'd like dump water to flush it.
It's like an old basement. I'm going to fix that, though.
By the way, my wife's been on me, but we don't really use it
too often. Yeah, we don't use it.
I mean, if I use it, I'll throw water in anyways, but like, it's
(41:59):
not a good basement. Like this is the spot.
I got like 7 feet make it look good.
And then the rest of it is just a lot of refrigerators hang on a
lie to you because they're hard to get upstairs.
So I get a new one now. We'll just use that one for
shelving. Say it's not good, but I have a
cool jersey back here. And Chris Farley.
(42:20):
Yeah, yeah. Chris Farley, he's he's on my
screen. He's over here.
I don't know if I'm pointing it.Right away, Yeah.
He's friend of the show. He's.
Right here, Here. I'm gonna.
I can give this here there you see, you guys see Chris, Chris
Farley over there. Oh yeah.
We got Chris Farley over here. You know what?
I mean the Heisenberg. No, we got Heisenberg over the
first line. We got, we got Richard Pryor.
(42:42):
We got yeah, yeah, yeah, we got The Sopranos back here.
It's like all anything that I'veever watched.
Once we got the Goodfellas, I don't know how to part.
Is that Hemingway on the other side?
Why is it so hard to point? Is your hard beard?
I would think with your eye situation it'd be easy for you
to point out it's. Hard.
It's hard to point at stuff sometimes, but yeah, we got all
(43:04):
the legends back there, you knowwhat I mean?
That's true. Jason put you on the spot there.
You know he did. I used to point and do all that.
Yeah, it's hard to point at stuff in the opposite.
Anyways, what do you got? I used to have a whole room in
our house that was just my recording studio.
It was great. And then I had too many kids and
so I got evicted from that, fromthat room and.
So. Played yourself so now I got to
(43:25):
have the the virtual screen behind me.
Because I'm recording. In my bedroom.
So you gotta tell your kid like every time that kid like
irritates you dust on the ROM like you are my recording
studio. Hey, listen, if you don't
behave, I'm recording in your bedroom tonight, all right?
Yeah, like you took. 5 hour showI'm gonna be, I'm gonna, I'm
(43:46):
gonna smash a derailed redacted drink and you know, Jake and I
are gonna speculate on on more trade rumors for five hours
tonight. Yeah, yeah.
That's yeah, I do. You know what I mean?
Let them know. Yeah, I think the answer is I
need to get a bigger house and get my recording.
I've had a studio in every room this old.
(44:09):
It's called the gun room cuz when I bought the house, the
people who lived there before had a bunch of guns in there.
It's like a lock on it and all that.
It was like a lot of guns when Ilooked at the house, but now
it's not. But I had my studio in there,
but it would get so cold. It was like a Canon on the
outside of the house. I was upstairs and my son, my
son was moving to college. I was moving stuff up as he was
leaving. Alright, see you later, bud.
(44:31):
But then that that that didn't really work either because the
internet's kind of sketchy up there and my wife was
complaining because, you know, the sound or whatever.
So now I'm in the basement. Anyway, I don't know why I told
you all that. You didn't even know any of
that. I want to know where you got
that. I got derailed.
I got derailed, Yeah. What?
JJ made his background your background.
Yeah. Where, where did you get that?
(44:54):
That Homer hat? Did you make that?
Yourself. Yeah, you got your Matt Ramage
logo on the side too. Yeah, this is in my store.
The Homer hat. I like to wear this when I'm
talking homerish stuff, just to 1 number.
Like you're a Homer. You're biased.
I'm like, dude, I ain't hiding it.
But yeah, I I got the short D mattramage.com.
Go buy some stuff. That's my wholepointramage.com.
(45:14):
That's your. Story the mattramage.com Yeah,
we have a lot of stuff we have Thanks Jerry stuff.
We got some Thanks Jerry. Stuff with the cheese head on
might get sued for. It on Sunday.
Yeah, dude, yeah, there's peoplewho bought it cuz we put it out
like early on and dude, they're gonna take pictures and a
Dallas. Damn, dude, I want so much to
see that Thanks Jerry shirt in Dallas.
(45:36):
I'm going to give like random people who send me pictures,
like free merch and I'm going torepost it because I just want to
see it so much, not even becauseit's my merch and and shout out
to Campache, a collective. I don't know how you say I think
I'm saying it right. I, I study it, but it's a weird
name, but I, I, I just want to see that just trolling Jerry
Jones. Even if it's not my shirt, dude,
I want to see people showing up saying thanks Jerry and like,
(46:00):
you know, trolling Jerry Jones. That's the way it's amazing.
There it is. That that's a shirt right there.
You know what I mean? I don't like Jerry John.
I don't. I don't like him.
I mean, I don't like. Does like.
Who does? Not him.
Yeah, Not personal. It's just like.
First of all, what owners just does a press conference after
the game? Like, you know, you want to hear
from the coaches, you want to hear from the players, like what
happened in this game? What were you thinking while
(46:21):
going through this game? No, let's hear about the owner
who watched it like the rest of us.
Who gives crap what he's talkingabout?
I give me the GM. But like, yeah, that's the
whole. Reason.
Because he's the freaking GM. But like.
Other GM's don't talk after every game, like immediately
after game not hearing Google mother like yeah, you know, we
tried to get the run game going more than.
He does, but. Yeah.
(46:41):
I I want to see Ed policy at a press conference immediately
after the game talking about we got to get that run game going.
I don't know what's going on. The play call is sketchy.
Like he'll call on everyone. He doesn't care, I don't think.
I don't know if he has this year, but like Jerry Jones, he
goes on the radio and just blabbering everywhere.
Like how can anyone be successful there?
Like what would any respectable head coach?
Why would they want to go and play for Dallas when you have
(47:04):
Jerry Jones all over? That's why they'll always have
like, like Mike McCarthy, which shout to him because like I, I
do like Mike McCarthy. You know, he won a Super Bowl
here. I'll always show him respect.
But like, he didn't have a lot of options going in there.
So he's like, all right, I'll goplay for this old guy.
You know, he's seen now he's going to yell, bark about stuff,
going to do press conferences. But like, you're not going to
get like one of these legendary coaches to come back.
(47:24):
You know, that they're trying todraw back.
Like there's a whole bunch of them, you know, all the names.
But no one wants to go there andwork for Jerry.
It's always going to be like some newcomers, someone who's
like kind of in a situation where they don't have a lot of
options. Nobody wants to work for a
psychopath. You know what I mean?
Jerry Jones is a psychopath. I mean, I, I don't think he'll
(47:45):
be fun to work for. Like it's very, very clearly
like, and we talked about this alot with the whole Micah Parsons
trade about just like the way that Jerry was talking about
Micah throughout the whole process.
Yeah. Well, like Michael, Michael
wants the heck out of Dodge. I mean, it was absolutely brutal
maltreatment of him. It was.
(48:06):
It was, yeah. He had second hand embarrassment
for Micah before, you know, we even thought this was had any
possibility it was going to happen.
Yeah. And then like, even after the
trade, like I mentioned earlier,he's like, he's trying so hard
and tell everyone that he won the trade, Like, oh, Micah's got
a back injury. Like, oh, he wasn't saying like
the media, you know, it was leaked.
I wonder who did that. And then he just cares so much
(48:29):
about public perception. That's why your team sucks.
Because, like, the Packers don'tcare.
The Packer fans could be screaming and yelling, you know,
this guy sucks. We didn't get this guy.
Whatever. The guy, you know, everyone's
freaking out, losing their mind over some of the Packers.
Like, yeah, we don't care. You don't know anything.
We're going to trust the guys that we pay to like know stuff.
They don't really give into that.
Jerry Jones I feel like cares somuch about.
(48:51):
Yeah, he cares. That's what the problem with the
owner. And everyone says, well, the
Packers have an owner. They could do this, they could
do that. But when you have an owner,
that's what you have like a God shadowing over your franchise.
And any thought in his mind, in his 90 year old mind, he just
says do that and you have to do that.
And he's, you know, I, I would not, I feel for Cowboys fans cuz
(49:12):
like, how do you root for? That.
How do you root? Like you're a team.
You love this team. You've you know, you know the
history, you know everything about this team.
You'd like, you know, almost diefor this team, not literally.
But and then you got this like psycho old guy who just screams
out from the clouds and just pops up on press conferences
talking about just gibberish, you know, getting in drama with
players, training away your bestplayer.
(49:34):
Like, I don't need that in my life, dude.
I'm glad to be a Packer fan. You don't have an owner, and
actually we do. Here we go.
They're all right here. Yeah, you see that?
That's business right there. The Don and the Mafioso up
there. Yeah, it looks like the way
their hands were like that, He'slike, he's like asking for a
favor on the day of his daughter's wedding or something
(49:55):
like that. That's why I feel like I'm
walking in here, right here and I'm like, all right, He's.
Like. It's like you need a favor, I'll
take care of it. Type of thing, yeah.
I'm not going to ask you if anything right now, but someday
maybe you can help me. Yeah, I.
Don't know if that's going. To work and.
Actually I know like. Family Matt we are massive Ed
(50:17):
policy super fans here on this live streaming.
This is the preeminent Ed policy.
I mean, you heard our theme songat the beginning.
It's it's the it's the legend ofEd policy.
It's it's ledge Ed policy's origin story is our theme song.
And like, we need to get Ed on this podcast.
It needs to happen. We have some very important
(50:40):
questions that we want to ask him and hopefully we're going to
get him to sing our theme song, no.
Yeah, I think. I think if he was watching and
he was like, yeah, I could probably do that, give him a
couple minutes. Then you start talking about
that like I ain't doing no singing, but that'd be
something. All right, maybe, maybe we're
not gonna have the same theme. Yeah, yeah, I'd probably leave
that part out or just leave it out and then when he's on, you
(51:03):
know, like the. Put him in the hot.
Seat, he's like, hey, have you heard our song?
Let's hit the vocals, Let's get the music going.
Bang go. We all do is it needs to be for
for charity. We need to get a big fundraiser
going have people donate for to hear him sing the song and then
donate all that to to charity. Yeah, I.
Think he would just, I think he would rather just give the money
(51:25):
to charity. He's like, yeah, I'm trying to
be respectable president here inthe greatest franchise in the
NFL. You're gonna have me singing
duets over here on the on a livestream.
I don't. I'm not sure that's gonna
happen. But sing singing a singing a fan
fiction about my origin story. Yeah, that's kind of.
(51:46):
And and he does, I think he doesall right.
I, I, I think he does OK for himself.
He he's got plenty of plenty of money in the bank.
He does, He does. Yeah, he probably doesn't help
with fundraising. How much are you?
Yeah, Say, you know, offer to pay him to do a thing for
charity. I'm not I.
Have I have $3? I got a $50.00 gift card from
(52:06):
QuikTrip someone gave me. I will throw that in there.
Actually, I think I spent it, but I'll chip into something now
that I think about that. I got gas.
You know, I think I might have got gas with that.
Drew wants to know if we think with with Ed policy coming in
now, you know, maybe maybe starting a new era post Mark
(52:28):
Murphy. Drew wants to know if we think
Goody and the floor are in on any kind of a hot seat or no.
And I, I will, I will mention that Matt Schneidman has been
running some pieces about stuff that he thinks he's heard from
people inside the building possibly supporting that theory.
(52:49):
So. Yeah, I don't know I mean I I
trust snipe and I trusted the reporters like doing the work
and like hearing stuff cuz like no one tells me stuff.
So like I'm not gonna like, but I think that the the probably I
wouldn't say a hot seat, but like in my opinion, it it would
seem like he's interested. He's paying attention like if
you're like Sanders are high. So if they like this is the
(53:13):
third year, right, Jordan loves, you know, started and last year
he was hurt. They feel like they got to go to
they went and got Parsons. They they're going like kind of
all in mode. And if they flop and they kind
of like screw the pooch and theynot meet expectations, I could
see it. But I don't think it's like
something hot. Like they have all this pressure
and they're like, you know, they're, you know, going to get
(53:34):
fired. But but like I say, I, I, I
trust reporters like talking about like stuff they hear
because, you know, I don't hear nothing.
But I don't know, I have a hard time feeling like it's like
super hot. But like if they throw a dud out
here that like this year, like it falls apart, which I don't
think is going to happen. Yeah, I can see like if they say
that we think this rush is good enough.
We went and got parcel. We traded away a lot for this.
(53:56):
And then if you lay an egg and absolutely like, you know, the
the Browns game kind of repeats over and over, which I'd like to
say I don't think that's going to happen.
Then I could see a situation where like, because you know,
halfway to he's going to be a big one head coach.
A lot of people on Facebook think they're just going to
swap. They're going to fire Lafleura
on Thursday and have them. You know he's going to be in
there and I don't think that's going to happen, but.
(54:17):
Have you guys seen the the the trend though online?
It's a big thing on on X and on Reddit and all these sites of
like Packer fans like talking massive crap about what an
awesome person Jeff Hafley is sothat other people hire him away
like Browns, this Browns game, like Jeff Halfley threw this
(54:40):
game on purpose, you know, because he was drunk.
Like that's, you know. I saw someone.
Nobody should hire him as a headcoach.
I saw someone that was like a meme and said the Packers
offensive line played horrible. Nobody hire Halfley has no idea
what he's doing. He's a defensive coordinator.
You get it. That's what makes it funny.
(55:02):
I do think to to your point you made a second ago, you know,
like the the 2022 and 2024 seasons really kind of fizzled
out, you know, as it went along and kind of, you know, went
ended on like a wet fart like both of the regular seasons.
And like in the 2024 season, we did make it into the play offs.
But like, you know. Fart does it for him.
(55:23):
Wet fart. How how how much did anybody
actually believe in them headinginto that Eagles game?
You know, I didn't have any any confidence, you know, in like
the state of the team at that point.
And like, if you look at like how stacked they are now, like
if if Jordan Love stays healthy and and Micah stays healthy, you
know, if the if this season wereto end the way that 22 and 24
(55:46):
ended, I think that there's somevalidity to the idea that Ed
policy could say, Hey, are theseguys actually the right guys to
lead us to the promised land? Because you know, you're not
going to have many better opportunities than just too old
for this comment that you did. I can't even read it.
(56:09):
Affleck kicked my cousin's salamander off a bridge, you
know. What I mean, you can't, you
can't have that. You don't want that in your
city. You've that in Green Bay?
Come on, Miami, you don't want that.
Tennessee. No.
OK, good. Oh my gosh.
Oh. New York There's way too many
bridges. See how many salmoners you could
kick off a bridge in New York. Do this way.
(56:30):
Can't do that. Yeah, and why would you want to
coach there? You let him go to New Orleans,
He's gonna he's gonna go kick analligator.
You. Know, dude, my thing for Haffley
is, hey, Mike McCarthy still lives in Green Bay.
Even when he was in Dallas, I think he still had that property
in Green Bay. Like there's so many players who
stay in Green Bay. Everyone loves Green Bay, so why
would you want to go somewhere else?
(56:51):
Stay in Green Bay and be the best defensive coordinator in
the world in Green Bay. And I don't care.
They can pay you all the money. They can pay you more than
Lafleur. I don't care.
They can take his money, steal his car.
I don't care what you gotta do. It's not my money.
I'm not gonna offer mine, but you know, I got 5 on it.
You know, I can throw the Blazeror something, but.
(57:12):
Look at look at that suit that Ed Paul has got on.
Like that man has that. That man has money.
He's about business. Just keep, keep patting Jeff
Haffley's, you know, bank account, Yeah.
The thing is though, like you talk about him though, what do
you do? Like people who play Madden like
they, they, they, they pick a team, they.
Fire the coach. They want their own people, so
(57:32):
maybe that's what he wants, but I I don't think he's going to
get stupid with it, but I think he'll be open.
I. Wonder if he waits.
I wonder if he like waits for a good job to open up.
Like he doesn't just take anything.
Yeah, he waits. Because you don't want to like
jump out like Dallas or like whatever.
I mean, like, but like also like, how'd that work out for
(57:53):
Ben Johnson? Like, I'm not, I'm not I'm not
saying that like the bears are not going to keep this, but
like, yeah, pass on. No, no, I'm just saying he
passed on Washington because he's like.
Oh, I'm I'm too good for Washington.
I don't want to have to coach upJaden Daniels in this.
Anyone who chooses to go to the Bears player or coach, I
honestly think I you're an idiot.
(58:14):
Like, like you're, you're not. Going to change it.
It's like, it's like you have a boyfriend or you know, a girl or
whatever girlfriend and you're like, oh, they're all screwed
up. They cheat.
They're all like crazy alcoholic.
Maybe they're drug addict. I can change them.
You can't. The Chicago Bears are the
Chicago Bears. They suck.
They're not. You're not going to make them
better. They're going to make you worse.
Every quarterback that's gone there suffered.
(58:36):
The coaches suffered. Like, dude, that's why I was
rooting so hard for Justin Fields.
I want him. So they just show the world like
Chicago was just horrible. They don't know how to run an
organization. Even the Bears fans don't like.
I saw a conspiracy where like the one of the Bears owners that
the older lady, I think she might have passed like she like
killed someone to get ownership.I was like, dude, what?
(58:57):
You rabbit a hole and like that's a conspiracy.
And it was all Bears fans. You're like, she killed them to
get ownership and she ruined theteam.
And I'm like, well, then they should put a statue of her.
God bless you. You know what I mean?
Hey. Ben Johnson ain't doing nothing
in Chicago. He's gonna go back to being a
coordinator. Maybe he'll be a head coach
somewhere someday, like on the Saints in seven years, and he'll
(59:20):
be fantastic. But in Chicago, nothing's
happening for you, bud. That's all I.
Got This is why we have Matt come on here, because you don't
get content like this anywhere else.
No, that's true. Speaking of the Bears.
So we're playing Dallas and likeDallas's offense is is pretty
darn good, although CD Lamb is hurt and you know, it, it seems
(59:42):
like he's going to be at least questionable for this game.
And like, this is a very, very bad defense that Dallas has.
And and and and they just got, you know, shellacked by the
Bears, who I can't remember. Jake, did we talk about this
last week that via DVOA after after two weeks?
(01:00:05):
The number one team in the NFL was the Green Bay Packers and
the number 32 team was the Chicago Bears.
Then the Chicago Bears kind of had their way with Dallas.
I'm not going to say they dog walked, but they they had their
way with them for sure. Yeah, it wasn't.
It didn't look very hard from when I was.
Watching and like and they I go had had the worst defense in the
NFL through the 1st 2 weeks and that's after playing the Vikings
(01:00:30):
and the lions. Now, like Lions have a pretty
good offense, but you know, I, Idon't think.
That there was. Any kind of a body of work to
indicate to you that the the Week 1 Vikings were that good on
offense. So it might be really rough for
(01:00:52):
Cowboys fans this week. And I think that I think that
the it's going to be a high scoring game for the Packers
offense. Kind of remains to be seen for
me whether the Cowboys offense is gonna is gonna have what they
need to get things going with, with the injuries that they've
sustained on offensive line and at wide receiver.
(01:01:13):
Are they gonna be able to do what they need to do?
But it it could, it could be a pretty high scoring game.
And Jake and I have this, we've been working on this theory for
two weeks now that this is gonnabe Matthew Golden's.
Welcome to the NFL breakout game.
Yep, you know, and and and we talked about how in the
commander's game, they were trying to get the ball to him.
(01:01:35):
They they chucked it to him a couple times.
A deep couldn't connect. You know, would have been a 2
tutty 100 yard game had they been able to make, you know,
connect on those plays. Instead, he gets, you know,
blanked on the on the stat sheet.
But then against Cleveland, whenthey really were not chucking
the ball all over the place, they still were finding the way
(01:01:58):
to get to get the ball to Matthew Golden even against that
defense. And he kind of had the play of
the game. That unfortunately will not be
remembered as such because it didn't result in any points
where he, what was it, 3237 yards, something like that up
the right sideline, 3434. Yeah, he even watched that film.
(01:02:20):
He was like Bro I. Watched really nice times.
Really nice moment for him to show up.
You know, and, and you want, youknow, you, you want your highly
invested players to be at their best on the biggest stages when
you need them the most. And this feels very much like
(01:02:42):
the game where you're going to see Matthew Golden coming out
party. It has to me a lot of the vibes
of 2022 Christian Watson. And that was Week 7 or 8.
And that was against Dallas. And Roger starts really chucking
it around. I think Watson had, what, 3
touchdowns in that game Like this?
(01:03:03):
This. This feels like probably the
beginning of the rest of the season for Matthew Golden.
Is this Dallas? Cowboys game, Yeah.
First touchdown he'll probably get this week, but although I
did say it last week and he would have kind of ran out of
bounds. I don't like to talk about that
play because I'm not an athlete.I don't know what was going on.
Kind of ran out of bounds after you caught that path.
Seemed like A to a lot of peoplewho could have ran it up field.
(01:03:24):
But like I'm the last, but I work at a cheese factory and I'm
obese. So I'm not going to tell a
premier athlete drafted in the first round in the NFL.
Like it should have just turned it up field, but it seemed like
he could have. But I think Matthew Golden
things you want's gonna happen. I'm gonna I'm gonna go to the
bathroom real quick. You talk, I can hear you.
I got Bluetooth on. But like dude, my bladder is not
(01:03:44):
gonna. Go up well, hey.
Mute your mic before you. Oh yeah, my.
My toe is way too close, I gottamute the same.
Yeah, thanks. I don't even hear the flushing.
Jake, this is quite the graphic you got here.
Highest coverage EPA allowed through Week 3.
We got Kayer Alam and oh, what'sHooker's first name?
Amani Hooker. Malik.
(01:04:06):
Malik Hooker and then Trayvon Diggs.
Yeah, that's Malik Hooker. Malik Hooker's with the Cowboys
right now. Yes, Sir.
Gosh, yeah. So they're 3rd, 4th and 5th in
highest coverage EPA allowed through week three.
I think the biggest thing one for Golden on that catch, it
kind of looked like one of thosesports cars that you weren't
ready. They didn't know how to turn it
(01:04:26):
yet, right. And it's like, oh, I, I can't, I
can't control this type of thing.
And it's just you just, you know, just kind of ran out of
the mounds, but like it that's that's kind of what it looked
like after watching it several times.
Just like I can't control this right now.
I'm going too fast. But I do think like with with
Dallas, because of all these explosive plays, they are
(01:04:47):
they're the communication's horrible, clearly really bad
right now in the secondary. Like you watch some of the
giants big plays where it's justlike they are, they're getting
like one deal in motion, right? And and they getting they're
getting 3 to the side of of of the field.
And, and Dallas is just trying to communicate what's your
assignment, what's mine? You have this, you have this,
(01:05:08):
and then guys just don't pick itup.
They don't pick it up late. They don't realize they have the
number 2 on the vertical route or anything like that.
And, and also, you know, Malik neighbors is just running by
everybody as well. And I think because of that, I
also this was interesting as well from John owning Cowboys
defense has the fourth lowest rate of press coverage in the
(01:05:30):
NFL, second lowest jam rate, which is when cornerback makes
contact with the receiver withintwo yards of the line of
scrimmage. And the lowest mirror rate,
which is cornerback making contact with wide receiver
within two to five yards per PFF.
So like they're they're literally just not, you know,
trying to play physical at all. They're trying to just get eyes
on the get eyes on the quarterback, get eyes on, you
know, what's happening kind of developing over the middle of
(01:05:51):
the field. And they're not, you know, just
they're not sticking with guys. They're, they're, I think
they're playing a little flat footed.
They're trying to match with some of their coverage.
And this is what happens. They you, you watch the Luther
Burden touchdown. What happened?
Like everybody collapses in, right, Because you think it's a
run play. But like their corners are, you
know, almost in the box by the time Caleb has the ball.
(01:06:16):
And it's just like, so they're just not, they're just, I, I
think just very, very focused onwhat's going on in the backfield
and what's going on elsewhere from their area.
Like genuinely, it just feels like the this secondary has
doesn't know how to communicate and just is truly unsure of of
(01:06:37):
their keys and principles and coverage.
I, I, you just don't see much like it at this point for that
defense. It feels.
And, and even when Bland was in there, like bland's obviously
hurt, right? And dig's got a little hurt, I
think, I think well, but I thinkthey're kind of expecting Bland
to play this week though, which is fine.
Like this is the the week doublemove.
(01:06:57):
He's he's really aggressive. They're also super aggressive
with also not being physical, right?
They're they're trying to break on a lot of these these quick
routes. And so I think, you know, golden
first touchdown on a double movemakes perfect sense.
Even Dobbs as well, like guys who are just going to be able to
work on double moves because they're so aggressive.
They're going to want to make a play.
They're playing against Michael Parsons again.
(01:07:18):
I think they're going to have that feeling that they really
have week to week anyway, but it's just I can't believe the
last they're doing. They allowed Wandale to have 142
yards on 8 catches. He hasn't done that since
Kentucky JJ. He has 6 yards per catch.
He has 6 yards per. Catch in like every other game.
(01:07:39):
Are you listening, JJ? Like they, they just straight up
stink. They just straight up stink in
coverage and, and obviously in, you know, this is tricky.
We've seen this one. Yeah, this is tricky to see.
But we're receiving efficiency, right?
Yards per route run. You got guys like the 2 1/2 yard
marker there and then, you know, passer rating when targeted up
here, Tucker Craft way up there.Passer rating when targeted #1
(01:08:04):
right. And so you have him.
You have Romeo Dobbs, who's overhere next to a Mecca Buca.
Like I, I just think they're going to, they're going to just
have their way. Dude, I like it.
You're getting me jacked up. If if Kenny Clark's banged up
and is like trying to play like with an injury, that is like
notable what's going to happen? They're the they're young pass.
(01:08:26):
Don't forget not been doing welleither.
So like it is it's open. Last time we played this could
be a 50 burger. Dude.
Last time we played the Cowboys,it was it was a 50 burger.
And second of all, that was the Dante V Wicks game where, you
know, he was, you know, really came alive in that game.
So I'd like to see him have haveanother repeat performance.
(01:08:47):
And OPS had 150 in that game. When you look at the at the
defense as a whole, they've onlygot 2 guys on defense who are
playing competent football and you got one of them is Kenny
Clark. Right who?
Like, I mean, we talked about like maybe a change of scenery
was going to be a good thing forhim.
And like, I would say play them all.
(01:09:07):
It seems like he's doing better on that D line than he was doing
with us. And then it helps that he's he's
next to Odigi Zua. I think those guys are
complementing each other really well and they're both playing
some pretty good football. And across the rest of the
defense. I mean, it is bad.
But one thing that I thought wasreally interesting, they brought
in Kenneth Murray and Jack Sanborn, who just like, you
(01:09:27):
know, we're, we're doing fine. They were decent linebackers and
then they went to Dallas and apparently died in the locker
room or something. It seems like they're just like
it seems like the Cowboys are just plopping it.
Eberfluse is the the de Seizer, right?
The Eberfluse like dragged theircorpses out and just propped
them up Weekend at Bernie's style in the middle of the
(01:09:48):
defensive field just said like, you know, hey, you know, the
rules say we got to have some guys out here don't want to get
penalized for too few men on thefield.
And like we've already we've already emptied the the kitchen
cupboards for DBS. We got Kairalam and Diggs and
Deron Bland and they stink to high heavens.
Safeties are playing like crap. Donovan Wilson is, you know,
(01:10:09):
having the worst year of his entire career.
Donovan is Ezraku playing prettywell.
He was the guy we liked a lot. But on the other side, Sam
Williams from Ole Miss, like, you know, had two promising
years in the league and then starting this one off, you know,
just the sort of a year so far. I mean, it's it's bad in Dallas.
(01:10:31):
This is a bad. It's.
Beautiful as a rocker's probablydoing OK because this is not
really a a super new defense forhim.
Sure, like Eberfluse and Hafley have some similarities at least
to like alignments and how they play on the defensive line.
So as a rocker's probably at least decently comfortable
walking in as a rookie. But Sam Williams, like you
mentioned, it's kind of a new thing for him a little bit with
(01:10:53):
Eberfluse coming in and it's probably like, OK, where my
keys, you know, where am I aligning?
How am I attacking? All that stuff is, is probably
an adjustment. And and they're bringing in
Clowny because of it. Like they just don't know.
Like we can't get anything out of this.
I guess let's try to continue tostop the run.
They gave him $0.50. They gave him they gave him the
(01:11:17):
the elite snack bar privilege toon the. 2nd.
Floor of the training center. They're like, all right, you
just stopped the run, big guy. No mini bar, but snack bar you
got? Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah. That's why I want.
Kenny Clark gets mini bar privileges.
The Packers has smacked the Cowboys in a way.
It's smacking the Cowboys and the Bears at the same time.
Because Eberflus was a guy, it wasn't just a coach over there.
(01:11:39):
He was a guy that everyone was like, oh, he's gone.
Oh, you wait, you wait, He wait, what's watch what he's about to
do. And so like, I feel like even
though bears fans kind of like, oh, we hate that guy, but like,
yeah, you loved him a couple years ago.
So I, I just feel like you can kind of smack them both right
there. Anytime you have a chance to
have like a secondary smack at the bears, it's always a good
(01:12:00):
time. Two birds.
And even like watching Justin Fields play good.
I, I, I just feel good about it,even if that doesn't matter
anything to me. But I just, I just want him to
play well away from the trash can that is Illinois.
So like, I'm a big Justin Fieldsfan.
Any time he gets on a field, dude, I'm rocking it.
I was going to buy a jersey. I wouldn't do that.
(01:12:21):
I don't buy non Packard jerseys but get crazy.
But here you go. I might buy one not.
Packard Jersey. But it's for my it's it's.
Actually, my son has. Everybody in chat knows.
They know who it is. Yeah, my son has it.
We, I actually bought a Justin Field jersey for my son if he
liked it in college or whatever. And then you got with the Bears
and I was like, all right, you know, we're just to pretend like
(01:12:43):
this didn't happen. Keep it in your bedroom.
Don't bring it out, don't wear it around the dinner.
But Oh yeah. We got Apham complaining that
Matt Ramage is too handsome. Would it hurt Matt to have one
eyebrow out of place? Never trust someone takes longer
to get ready than their wife. Oh man.
(01:13:03):
You Beautiful man. Yeah, Apham, I don't think I.
Know, I think it's talking aboutMatt on the floor.
I don't think it's. Like, no, he's got no, it's
definitely you he has a problem with.
No, my eyebrows, I don't, no, you know, you know how you know
that you're getting old? When you go to the Barber, you
get your hair cut. Like you want me to trim your
eyebrows? That doesn't happen for a long
time. And then it happens every time.
I'm like, well, do you think it's necessary?
(01:13:24):
And they're like, I want to ask. You're not asking this randomly
to bald people. Like you got some Bush going on
over there. So that's how, you know, once
that first time they ask you if you want me to trim the
eyebrows, that's when, you know, maybe ease up on the pizza
rolls. You're gonna get an old.
You're gonna start. Things are gonna start messing
up anyways. I I got a problem, you know,
(01:13:47):
they, they always ask me now if the if I want them to trim my
eyebrows and I always say no because I have obviously.
I have a cow. No, we're surprised by the no.
I have a cow lick in this in this eyebrow.
And if if they trim this eyebrowlike the more you try and trim
it, the worse it looks. The only thing you can do is
just let it grow all the way outand then like have the weight of
(01:14:08):
it. You gotta see it.
It sticks up on this side, just on this one, right?
Here I think it looks all right cuz you got that, that beard.
If you didn't have a beard, you'd look like.
A It does balance it out, yeah. If you didn't have a beard,
imagine him with all the beard and those same eyebrows.
You're scaring children at that point.
You need that beard. That's a good beard.
Well, if you could see the, you know, the hideous scarring and
(01:14:31):
facial deformities and growths that I have on my chin that I'm
covering up with this beard, youknow, you'd really I do.
I could be more grateful. I could be Tom Hanks on the
island for seven years. First of all, I wouldn't survive
that. I'm not really good at that.
I would die. Oh, I don't know man, you.
You if I did. Keep the rolls in there.
That should last a while. I'm telling you, if I did, seven
(01:14:52):
years later, they're going to find me.
I wouldn't have a beard like that.
It would just be like a 17 year old just trying to get that
first real beard going and kind of patchy.
That's what it would be just like a nice good homeless look.
I mean, I've. Shaved this stuff a few times in
the last few years and it it grows back pretty darn quick.
My wife always complaints whenever I do shave the beard.
(01:15:12):
She. Doesn't like that she doesn't
want to look all good. People who can't grow beard
don't want to hear about your beard growing problems.
All right, I can't grow a beard.I I I could like put I don't do
that, but I could go to the store.
I guarantee you put all this stuff in my face.
I can't grow a beard, just enough to look bad.
I saw a picture of Jake just like dirty just a couple days
(01:15:34):
ago where he didn't have a beardon and it was it was eye
opening. I was like, wow, this is.
Not that's a good beard too, youknow what I mean?
He's got that. He's got that kind of like a
matte lafleurie, you know, kind of clean beard going.
You got that Duck Dynasty. Like I haven't seen a razor in
14 years. Look like you walk down the
street, people just hand you a rage.
Duck Dynasty are the two cops. I love that.
(01:15:56):
I love that. All right, let me see here we
can you do this here. See, we got derails.
Guys, I got to be better out there, OK?
I got to be better. I got to help the team.
You know? It's on me.
Someday was on me, OK? It was absolutely.
Someday was on me. I think people on Facebook said
it was my fault the Packers lostbecause I said some stuff.
(01:16:18):
I said the Packers are like, youknow, the offices.
I said the opposite. Hold on a second.
Look, look, look, Jake. I fixed their display names.
I fixed their display names. All right, now.
Now you can show us whatever youwant.
To show. Look at that.
Show us some. Stuff I was just going to I, I
just found this too. So yards allowed per coverage
snap and then passer rating allowed.
(01:16:40):
You got your trio up here, Bullard in the top right
quadrant, Nixon and and Valentine.
And lo and behold, here's Diggs down to your bottom left.
Here's Elam bottom left. I don't think Elam's going to
sounds like Bland's going to be back.
But Even so, Diggs being kind oflike one of the bottom 5.
Also shout out Terry and Arnold over here. 2 1/2 yards for
(01:17:01):
coverage. Snap.
That is that's difficult to do. He's struggling.
But the fact again, Dallas is just near the bottom in
coverage. They're they're struggling a
little bit to communicate, as wementioned before, but you know,
I just saw Scheinheimer kind of go, Oh yeah, well, they're going
to be changes to this defense and they haven't played a lot of
man coverage. Maybe they do a little bit more
(01:17:23):
of that because, you know, no, hey, let's see what the Packers
receivers can do. I regret to inform them that
Romeo Dobbs has like 3 yards perout run against man coverage.
And I expect and, and Golden's got one of the higher separation
rates in the league to this point.
So I, I don't know if that's going to help, but I hope that
(01:17:44):
if that jam rate goes up, if thepress rate goes up, that that
the fellows are ready there in the receiving room.
Dude, that's some like smart stuff.
That's why I come on other people's shows because like, I
have never heard anything smarter than that.
That doesn't happen on my show. People, you're not going to
leave my show being smarter. But I do want to ask you a
question like all that smart. Stuff this is also this is a
disgusting comment from Am I tooold for this?
(01:18:05):
I'd better not see that again. But I got I got Romeo Dobbs on
my fantasy team. So I just want to is Romeo Dobbs
going to bust off this year or this this week against Dallas?
I think what you probably shoulddo is he's.
He's not like the guy. The guy.
But if he pops off against the Cowboys this week, you should
(01:18:25):
sell high 7 for 90. Let's go 7 for 90 with Dobbs
this week. That's that's my thoughts.
I like actually. Are you are you PPR cuz that be
that be a nice It's supposed to be a.
Touchdown I'm not a good fantasyplayer cuz I don't know all
those letters, but it's like a dynasty league and I'm not good
at it. You know how not good I am at
fantasy. I had that quarterback Drake May
(01:18:46):
I drafted him whatever cuz dynasty league a couple years
ago. So then I have I have Lamar
Jack. I'm not gonna get into my whole
fantasy. Don't don't worry.
I'm not gonna tell you my whole fantasy story, but I have Lamar
and Jordan love. So I was like I don't need this
other guy so I'll just trade himso I play Hey tread block.
Hey, someone trade for him. First one Ioffer I got, you got
it. So I traded him and then turns
out that guy's on IR. The whole league was mad at me.
(01:19:08):
Like you're stupid. And I was like, yo, you know,
I'll leave the league if you want.
You know, I was like all like offended by it.
I was like, I made a bad trade, but I don't care.
Like I was like, it was a guy that was just there and then
people are mad. But hey, when that wide receiver
gets off IR, guess who's got an extra wide receiver buddy?
Was it Jalen Coker? It was one day around.
(01:19:31):
Nick. Nick Millen, I think McMillan.
OK, Jill McMillan. Sure, yeah.
And I don't even know cuz like I'm like heavy into the Packers,
obviously, but like I'm not, I'mnot so knowledgeable about the
whole league. Like I know about the stuff the
average fan knows probably maybea little more than the average.
Do you know? Who Patrick Mahomes is, you
heard? Yes, he he plays for the Titans,
you know what I mean? He's.
(01:19:53):
I mean, I mean, he's dating Harley Kelsey.
You know, I thought he played for the Bears, but and then I
forgot they passed on him. There we go.
They didn't want him. They're like, no, we don't need
that. We don't need winners in this
room anyways. I ruined this dude.
The the the list of of quarterbacks that the Bears have
(01:20:15):
had the opportunity to draft andpassed on is an all time.
It's one that shows you you're not good.
Yeah, it shows you're not makinggood decisions either.
So like, when I hear them talk about all the Packers, you know,
back in the day before Jordan Love, Aaron Rodgers and his
prime, they're like, oh, they had Brett Favre and then they
had Jordan Aaron Rodgers. Like, well, you could have like,
(01:20:38):
you know, Aaron Rodgers wasn't pick number one overall, bro.
I think the bear, I think it wasa fight.
One of them passed on him twice.I think they had draft picks.
I think Minnesota. It might have been, you know,
don't quote me on that. My memory is not good, dude.
But like you could it wasn't like they were like, like they
traded up and they did all this stuff to get him and they knew
like no one knew. Everyone passed on him and the
(01:21:01):
Packers got him and so like, andthen they act like it was luck.
Well, it wasn't luck. They didn't like stumble upon
him in the fourth round and likelike the Brady was luck.
I feel like, I mean, not luck, but like I feel like in the
right situation and obviously hedid his thing, but like he was a
sexual and no one knew that whatwhat he was.
I think that's what most great quarterbacks are.
Besides that, the Peyton Manning's whatever the ones, but
(01:21:21):
like so many number ones aren't that great.
I mean, we're seen in Chicago. We've seen him in Detroit for
like 40 years. They draft these the
quarterbacks and then, you know,so like, I don't, I I hate when
people talk about that, like with Aaron Rodgers, like the
Packers got lucky. I mean, there's always a little
bit luck in draft picks. But and then Mike McCarthy was
(01:21:41):
like, he passed on him and he came back like, sorry, bud, you
know what I mean? Wasn't my call.
I blame all these guys. Let's have a good time though.
And they did for a little bit. Anyway, too, too old for this is
JJ. Have you heard of Kaiser Bros on
TikTok and Instagram? They are Packer fans and one of
(01:22:04):
them looks a lot like you. I'm just gonna, I'm just gonna
throw this out there before we look at Kaiser Bros.
Everyone with the beard looks like you. 100% of suggestions
that people have of like, oh, this person looks like you is
always like morbidly obese. So apparently this is just how
people view me. It's always, 100% of the time
(01:22:26):
it's a it's a big old chunky guy.
You. Guarantee it.
You know, what's funny is like, I have like, you know, the, the
videos like with my eyes, like afew of them went viral.
And it's funny because on Instagram there's a guy who like
he's got tagged because they hada bunch of comments.
You know, it's one of the they don't all do that.
But like this video went like really big and it's an I video.
(01:22:46):
I'm all eyes are all gendered and they're tagging as one guy.
He's like a million followers. He's got like a following, but
he has like a slight lazy eye and everyone's like, Yo, is this
you? And I'm like, like my video was
just met is being used. It's viral because they're just
using it to abuse this like big content creator who has a
slightly like, you know, lazy eye and they're just I feel like
I'm a bully, but I followed him because I was like the least I
(01:23:08):
could do is follow the guy. He's getting tagged over and
over again. I'm like, I'm he didn't follow
back, though. Maybe you know, maybe I should,
you know, I should make a video about him.
I'm. Just.
I'm a little buzzed up. I ain't gonna lie to you.
I'm sorry. You should definitely do it.
You should definitely do it. Here's here's Kaiser Bros.
All right. So clearly this is this is who
(01:23:31):
they're saying looks like me. No, he's way better looking than
you. Not even close.
I I agree I agree he also has a better beard.
That's a better. Bit the hat fits and better.
Your hats are way up high. Your forehead's much bigger.
Well, my my forehead. Goes oh, OK.
Oh, yeah. Lower the hat.
All right, Now, now, now you gotit.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Look.
At that right there. All right.
I'm trying to look like him, yeah.
(01:23:53):
No, your, your, your beard is more full.
You look very much alike though. That could be like your brother,
your cousin. Just like you didn't get the
beard tonight as good as him. You know, I do have a a black
and red Plaid shirt I could go grab and then I.
Look, I have no doubt about that.
(01:24:13):
Everyone with a beard that lookslike yours has that shirt.
Yeah, but I think. That kind of proves the point.
It's not another color point. Yeah, it's always the red.
It's that red. Yeah, it's 100%.
Buy it for myself. People keep giving And the white
T. Shirt because if you have a
beard like you have, that's the only gift.
Like hey, this is a lumberjack, get him a shirt that he
(01:24:35):
lumberjacks wear. That plus the white T-shirt
underneath 100%. Yeah, you got to have a Plaid
shirt. You get a like, if I haven't
started to grow a beard, my, youknow, my wife will go out and
buy me a Plaid shirt. Hasn't happened yet, but like,
she will do it. That's what happens when you
grow a beard like that. Oh my gosh, there's yeah, look
at that nice Packer helmet. See, I'm kind of like the guy on
top, except I got, you know, better eyes.
(01:24:59):
That that does not matter, you know, you know, Matt and I have
actually met in person, which ismore than I can say for Jake and
I. So you know Matt never met in
person about what we look like in.
You guys never met in person? Yeah.
No, no, not yet. Jake's like, yeah, we're gonna
keep that rolling. You think this is by accident?
(01:25:20):
He's like, we always just miss each other.
I don't know what's going on. Yeah, it's just sometimes it's
passing so crazy. I don't know but.
I'm so busy I can't get away. Oh, you're not busy at that
time. Darn, I'm busy at that time.
That's time. I'm like, hey, I'm going to the
pack again. I thought you were going to the
pack again. Yeah, I decided not to go,
actually. That actually happened with the
draft. That actually did what?
(01:25:40):
No. Oh no, you didn't go.
You didn't go Saturday though, right?
Yeah. So I was there for two days and
you were initially you were like, yeah, the only day that
I'm not going to be there is dayone.
I'm like, oh, you know, that's OK I'll be there on what?
No, no, I'll be there on the 1st2 days Friday.
There's no way. There's no way.
And then and then you were like, yeah, you know, I was going to
(01:26:01):
go, but since you're going, I just realized I really don't
want to leave my. I feel like this is a game of
telephone where like you're not remembering things correctly.
I mean, I, I said I would definitely do Saturday and then
and then by the time I'd been onlive for like 16 hours the last
two days I was like, I'm not, I'm tired.
I'm. Not see, that's the thing you
(01:26:22):
can go live for 16 hours. Like when you know stuff, like
when you know stuff, I, I realized that like I do like
these live streams a lot more and like if I prepare really
good, I'm like, oh, if I know stuff, it's really easier.
I mean, not that I try to like be smarter than ever, most of my
stuff just goofing around, but it does help to know something.
I just think about that because you're like one of the smart
people. Like I, you know, I have a list
(01:26:43):
of people that like in my brain who are smart, you know, JJ, you
know what I mean? I I trust I'm not on that.
I'm not, you're not on the list.You know, there's a certain
list, you know, everyone has that list of like the smart
people. Everyone has their place.
I mean, I think you're right under the smart people because I
know that you know football way more than I do like you, you
know, ball. I'm not in talking trash, but
(01:27:05):
I'm just saying like on that list of like the top smart
people. I got Jake on that thing and
I've only talked to him through this thing.
But even if I don't understand what you're saying at the time,
I know it's smart. That's how I know it's smart.
I'm like. Next time he's on and bring him
fake facts. You couldn't.
I didn't zone out because my brain like goes back to like
(01:27:25):
middle school, like when I don'tknow something, I just zone out.
And you're not stupid if you're not paying attention.
That's my philosophy in life. That's how you get to work at a
cheese factory for 23 years. So speaking about the cheese
factory, I, I was on TikTok thismorning and like the first thing
that popped up was a video aboutlike how they make cheddar
(01:27:47):
cheese and I'm watching this. And I was like, oh man, I, I, I
can suddenly picture what Matt Ramage does all day.
And now I need to know, what do you do at your cheese factory?
What? Is your I cut the cheese?
I'm literally I cut the cheese. Hell yeah.
I want to make it to my podcast title with Senior Cheesehead.
(01:28:07):
He's a friend of mine. He has a podcast.
He doesn't really do it anymore, but it was called Cutting the
Cheese or whatever. I've seen him make it a segment.
Yeah, I couldn't like, steal hisname or never, but like, no.
But I literally caught the cheese.
I can't say too much because there's confidentiality and I
mean, they'll fire me and they're all listening to right
now. They're probably watching just
like, say something. Say something.
I dare you. No, but like the cheese.
(01:28:29):
Posing industry secrets about like what what the proprietary
method of cutting cheese is thatyou're telling the formula for
cheddar? We're coming for you.
Yeah, I I know it, dude. For the right price, you know
what I mean. You want to leave me mad,
though? Was this video at the beginning?
You know, it has text on the screen to like, you know, tease
(01:28:49):
you about, like, what it's goingto be.
And they're like, this is how Wisconsin Cheddar gets its
orangey yellow color. I'm like, oh, cool.
And then at no point did they ever touch on how it gets its
color. It was just like, yeah, you
know, here's how they press it together.
And then, you know, they put it in this thing to squeeze more of
the way out. And they kind of cut it and
(01:29:10):
stack it and cut it and stack it.
And then they put it in boxes toship out to stores.
And I'm like, you didn't still have.
The box where the car. Is from they skipped a step.
You didn't want you to see it. It depends what because we've
met. Probably you know where I work
probably makes the best cheese of all the land.
You know what I mean? That's all I'll say.
I got good insurance dude, Don'tdo my job.
(01:29:33):
Heck yeah. You get me fired.
I've already got a final warning, bro, for attendance.
I don't need this No, but I cut the cheese.
The cheese comes down. I got that got knives come down
and cut the strange cheese. That that's what we do.
We we make cheese strange cheesesometimes I'm I'm mixing it.
You know what I mean? We got the big cookers, the
cheese they got like a you know what is it?
(01:29:55):
It's like a like 1800 lbs of cheese curd.
Mix it all up, you know? And with the stuff they put in
it, you know what I mean? What, you can't talk about
'cause they'll fire me. I feel like they're watching
right now. Plant managers probably zoned in
right now. He's like shit.
He's like what he's like. Shut up.
Talk about. Jordan Love?
(01:30:15):
No, but you do have to. Sign like a thing you know,
saying you won't talk about it. I have a lot of knowledge.
You know what I mean? I guess you could say I'm pretty
smart about cheese. I was on WI.
Executives are asking me a question about cheese, and I
didn't know any of the answers. I was like, well, they might
fire me this. I can't say anything I.
Don't like, Yeah, you don't haveto like not I I, I don't know.
(01:30:36):
No. I mean, I can't say I know
everything, but I just can't saybecause it's top secret.
It's like the CIA over there. Cheese.
You know what I mean? Cheese in Wisconsin, dude.
It's more important screw around.
They don't date you not screw. Around No, I was on WX next and
they're like, they're like, we don't want you to get in any
trouble, but like what's the main ingredient for cheese?
I'm like, I shouldn't be tellingyou this.
(01:30:56):
I really shouldn't be telling you this.
It's milk. You know what I mean?
I might get fired for this milk. That's the main ingredient.
Oh, no, sorry, sorry. It's all right.
We'll cut that. That's field cuts that first.
That's what it is that when whenI first started working there, I
didn't know what a VAT was. I thought they were saying bat.
Are my other bats in here? I don't like bats.
(01:31:17):
I'm very afraid of bats like, you know what I mean?
Like when I bought my house, I checked the I checked the attic
first. When I first looked at the
house. They're all looking at it
though. Oh, look at the kitchen.
The bet. No, let's look at the attic.
Is there? Can we go in there?
Is there bats and it's like Dracula up in there.
I didn't know that the layer is secure because I don't like
bats, but anyways. But bats are different.
That's cheese and other stuff probably.
(01:31:39):
Anyways you. Put out the cheese.
I'll drink that pieces of real Americans in your American
cheese. We don't make American cheese,
we make mozzarella string cheese.
Oh, OK. Probably the best mozzarella
string cheese in the whole land.So.
You can't be asked all these questions.
It's going to reveal too much. Yeah, I'm like what you're.
Asking over here. Didn't he send you over the
(01:32:00):
questions you're not supposed toask?
This isn't live. Ignore that thing in red up top.
That's not real. Didn't my manager tell you what?
These are all These are all plants in a Where's my?
Publicist. So that, says Matt, is the
Batman of cheese production. There we go.
(01:32:21):
I like that. I don't like bats though, but
Batman probably don't got a problem with bats, so maybe I
win Batman and that's why I don't like bats.
There we go. Because I am the Bat man, you
know what I mean? Jake follows me.
I'm not sure JJ does. He's lost in his beard right
now. Lost in the sauce right now.
I'm I'm reading these lost in the bat right now.
I apologize. Those are cracking me up.
(01:32:43):
I feel like this is the most derailed.
That's what you want. The.
Show's called Derailed. You have a show called Derailed
and you named it Roasting the Cowboys and we barely talked
about the Cowboys. That is the most derailed thing
of all time. We did.
But you know what I mean? Not like the whole title was
that. So you feel like people probably
watching like, oh, we're gonna hear a lot about the Cowboys
today. They're like, oh, they're
(01:33:04):
talking about bats or bats. What's going on here?
Talking about cheese? What happened?
Well, 8th, 8th and we have the Cowboys.
Really exciting stuff in terms of derailed it before.
No, that's, that's that's. Why Godzilla's Ras before?
Like we're we're insane people dude.
That was an all let's. Talk about Ras.
Let's talk about Ras real quick,all right, because I, I, I see
(01:33:26):
this, I see this phrase a lot and I pretend to know what it
is. You know, I even quoted it and
made posts about on Facebook. I still what the hell does that
mean? Jake, educate me real quick.
I know it. You know, I know that the smart
real posts like all right, you know, they think it's good.
I should show other people. It's just the combine testing
athletic scores, you know, they just the, the one guy makes the
(01:33:48):
score out of it all based on, you know, the history of, of all
the combine data. And so you get like, you know,
this guy's ran the an 86th percentile.
So like, you know, Top 14 percent, 40 or whatever.
And they just puts that all together in a formula.
You want the good athletes. That's all you need to know
about Ras. The green is the good, and
that's all you got to do. That is kind of what I was like.
(01:34:10):
I know this guy is probably going to be pretty good.
And there we go. Yeah, the draft.
I don't know anything about young people.
I don't even say it like that. Young players like whenever,
like they talk about like this guy's coming out of college.
What do you think? I'm like, dude, I have no clue.
Give me like 8 years. I'll tell you what he did.
(01:34:31):
I know history. I can remember stuff but like
predicting not so much. It's about how you compare to
your uncle at the cookout. So it's too old for this.
I like that better. That is pretty good.
And your uncle at the cookout, if you win, you got green on the
third. The relative part of relative
athletic score is nice because it just means they're comparing
(01:34:53):
them to other the athletes at the same position.
Like hey, you know a scale of like, you know, suck to amazing.
How good are you compared to allthe other guys at the position
you're trying to play at? I wish that they had a score
like that for everybody. Just think you meet someone and
a score pops on their head and like this guy's a douche.
I'm like, keep her moving. We need we need one for
(01:35:16):
podcasters. There's one air.
There's one category where Jake and I would score very highly,
which is stamina. We have a immense stamina as
podcasters, as evidenced by our five hour live stream.
Here's the Yeah, here's. The more live stream.
Drew said show them an Ras card and I said you know what I'm you
know where I'm going. Oh, the.
(01:35:37):
Godzilla's right, I've seen the cards before, I've shared them
before. Have you seen?
The card this. Is.
The card you got. Godzilla over here.
Yeah, this is going right here. He's not agile, but he's big,
fast enough and and very explosive.
Very. Why did you give him a 10 second
shuttle? Because he can't see.
(01:35:57):
He doesn't turn. What have you seen him turn in
any movie? Think about it.
He's walking well. He's got to get down in all
fours. He's got to get down in all
fours. Yeah.
Yeah, He, he, it's just turning is a difficult thing for him,
but there's, I mean. You gotta keep it realistic.
Come on, JJ, there's. No rule in the NFL rule book
that says that you can't go downon all fours.
(01:36:18):
So he can go on all fours and and complete the shuttle and by
the boom it should be good enough.
Same with a three comb. But see, he's already got to get
down there. He's so tall already.
He's got to get down into the position to do the shuttle and
the shuttle's already begun. So you're saying that that
gravity is working against him because he he has to fall all
the way down to horizontal to get going.
(01:36:40):
Listen, we want this guy going linear.
We don't need him changing direction or we just need him
just standing there, right? This is this is the ultimate
like I'm playing defensive tackle or offensive line, JJ
that's it. That's it.
Just take up space, take up space.
And I don't know quarterbacks, there's a lot of evidence
suggesting that the shuttle is pretty darn important for
(01:37:02):
offensive lineman. So, you know, he there's this is
like there's more of a yeah. Do you think that that Godzilla
is going to be able to contain Miles Garrett if he doesn't have
a good shuttle? No, He'll just, we put him next
to Micah. That's what we'll do.
We haven't listened. It's ADT right here.
Frickin Godzilla like ripst you guys still?
(01:37:24):
Playing him at offensive tackle, yeah, No, I I did say that.
But we'll look, look where we have him right now.
And I agree that that is a better spot for him.
I mean, like you, you've seen Desmond Watson, the the 470 LB
defensive tackle out of Florida who who just got signed to the
Buccaneers practice squad. Yeah, like this is this is
(01:37:45):
basically what Godzilla is. And like honestly, like Todd
Bowles is going to regular. Ass person.
Todd Bowles is going to put Godzilla on a diet, just like he
did with with Desmond Watson. I don't think so, I'm not
familiar, I don't watch a lot ofGodzilla movies but I've seen
Eclipse from what I understand, pretty strong I feel like.
You're not moving him off the ball.
(01:38:06):
There's just. No way.
Yeah, I feel like he's gonna. Scrimmage is staying the last.
Probably gonna have a good time back there.
There's not gonna be a problem for him.
They're like, all right, how do we too old for this?
Says that Godzilla is technically always offsides
since he's the size of the of the.
Well then he should probably play for the.
Eagles that could be. Problematic burn.
(01:38:30):
Zinger. Burner.
Oh man. Yes.
That's way too good. You know, I mean, usually when I
say good stuff like that, everyone gets excited.
I just walk off. You got to get that George
kissand a walk off. I should have done it, man.
I was too late. You can't talk about the walk
off and then, yeah, then walk off.
(01:38:52):
So next time I do something good, walking the hell off.
There we go. Well, just just be careful which
way you walk. I don't want you to end up in
your in your toilet over there. No, that's the only way to walk
that way is counter. You know what I mean?
There's nothing open your. Beverages on that counter.
No, that's a that. That's what a spiders love.
That's what a spiders love. We don't mess around over here.
(01:39:13):
We give them their spot. You stay over there.
I'll do my thing. We'll be all right.
Jake, what would a spiders RSP? Oh.
Spiders, dude. What kind of spider are they?
What kind like the? Little basement spiders?
No, like regular basement spiders.
Black. Wolf spiders, Yeah.
Big, big wolf spiders. They're in everybody's.
Do they move wolf spiders? I don't know when you spray them
(01:39:37):
they do. I usually when I see the spiders
because I'm shooting them down. Dude I got lean like a 30 foot
reach over here. The bottle raid.
I'm getting after it dude. I'm like a sniper in the woods,
bro. I need to see the wolf spider
move, JJ, I don't have yeah. I have to have he doesn't have
this. I don't have to film on him
right now to to to see what the this isn't.
(01:39:59):
Oh, this is a. This is a.
Nobody wants to see that dude. You put that images up there,
you're no. Why?
We're for showing videos. You started throwing spiders on
the screen. I guess these scary drop.
I don't like spiders really scare me, but they I don't like
them. What is this?
I don't want them honest I. Don't want this.
Yeah, nobody wants. To want this what?
(01:40:19):
Are we doing? We're not.
That we need footage of them. Moving rail OK, well, it is wolf
spider season here in Texas onceagain in this little all right
first. Of all, that's why I don't live
in freaking Texas. You.
Crawl out underneath one of my machines and I'm going to see if
he'll let. Me not only to get to deal with.
The. I'm going to see if he'll let me
talk. Texas is just literally
Australia in America. What are we doing here?
(01:40:41):
Yeah, everything in Texas exceptfor like a good decision making.
Oh, that's so creepy. He's got to touch this something
bitch. Why would you do that?
No, no, okay, pretty quick, justpretty quick.
(01:41:02):
That 10 yard split might be pretty.
Good. What do you mean like?
About to be. First of all, if I obviously a
smell like that at my house. Wicked first step.
Investigating, trying to poke him.
I'm burning this shit down. I'm burning all of it down,
really. I'm not a first.
Step like Micah. He's gonna touch him again.
Whoa, whoa. I'm glad I wasn't paying
attention. Why do you let it go back under
(01:41:23):
the machine, idiot. Get your shotgun out.
Burn that bitch, dude. Burn.
Right, that machines, It's over. We're going to have to get rid
of the machine. Yeah, bananas.
You got to get rid of the machine.
You got to get rid of that wholeneighborhood.
You need a riot there. Like that's how you kill that.
This thing on his face? No, do not click on this, No,
Drew says. We have to look at this.
That's probably. I don't want to look at this.
(01:41:45):
Yeah, I think I got to go. We need.
To do we need to do our picks for the game.
If I want to look at spiders, I'll just start looking.
I'm in my basement right now. I look up, I might see one.
I don't care. I have AI have a pencil
sharpener because the guy who lived here before me was like a
real man and he would fix stuff and he would like he would
(01:42:06):
sharpen pencils down here. I've never been down here and be
like my pencils dull. He's never done that.
But if I ever in that situation right here, dude, it's one of
those ones in like 5th grade you'd get up to sharpen your
pencils. You look back at Sally.
Hey, how you doing? You know what I mean?
First Katie, now Sally. Yeah, you know, we had the
(01:42:27):
sharpest pencils in the game, you know what I mean?
But anyways, I'm sorry you want to.
Give us a score prediction on this game.
Score prediction for this game All right, I'll I'll give you a
score prediction. You know what I'm going to do
and I'm going to remember this one too No, because someone said
(01:42:49):
earlier because he threw A50 burger up there something like
No 50 burger for the Matt Raymond show and I've never
predicted A50 burger before and that because I always try
because I'm very biased. You know, I got the I, I do the
whole Homer thing. And so I I try to like tame
myself so that people aren't like the people get all
dramatic. But I'm going to predict it and
I'll make it graphic before whenwe're done here and I'll post it
(01:43:11):
on Facebook and get everybody all upset.
No, but I'll, I'll say 5151. Nice.
To to 13. Let's keep it going, you know
what I mean? No, but I do think the Packers
could just light a fire. You know, why not?
I I think there could be a lot of defensive points.
I think Micah Parse saying that that's a defense to be fired up.
(01:43:32):
I think the Cowboys are just in shambles right now.
They got beat by the Bears by a good margin.
If you get beat by the Bears andeveryone's, you get beat so bad
by the Bears, even ESP NS. Like maybe this team's good.
Caleb Williams has arrived and they're getting all jacked up
and doing all this stuff. Next week they'll be talking
about, I guess we were wrong on that one, Caleb Williams to
three interceptions or whatever the deal is.
(01:43:52):
But like, yeah, I think the Cowboys are a bad football team.
And if, if, if Jake disagrees, then I'd take it all back.
And I was just kidding because he seems like he knows what's
going on. Yeah, I think, yeah.
I mean, again, kudos to Caleb and all that for for playing
well. We literally forgot that Russell
Wilson threw 450 in week two against Dallas.
(01:44:16):
And you saw that if you saw the Chiefs game, right?
Like you saw him hit the upright, throw the football down
the tunnel. He was terrified, hit the goal
line like very clearly, like what happens when you go from
Dallas to a defense who's at at the very least for the Chiefs,
like middle of the road. So yeah, JJ, are you going first
or do you want me to go? No, I want you to go first
because I went first last time. All right.
(01:44:37):
I like how you guys really, really, you know, we're going.
Fair about it. You want me to go first or you
want to go first? Yeah, we're we're going to,
we're going to try to go for twoin a row here after last week's
very nice prediction. Sadly that was correct.
I'm going to go 3424 Green Bay. I think that there is a chance
(01:45:03):
because of how good Dallas runs it that that could be, you know,
a factor early. Maybe they're trying to show it
in this game. Yeah, I picked the 50 burger
because you said it earlier and now you're over here. 3424 It's
going to be a close one. 50 Burger is within the realm of
possibility for sure because of how good they are.
(01:45:23):
They put a 48 two years ago, right?
And that team had Parsons on it.So, you know, I don't think A50
Burger's out of the question, but I do.
Think like it could be. Yeah, 5113.
I I want to see it. I would like to say that's the
difference between now. So you're like smart, like
figure it out. And I'm just like, yeah, what
the hell? That seems like a good score.
That's and I, I'm pretty sure I was the only person and just
(01:45:47):
kind of like to be funny to pickCleveland last week.
So who knows? Nobody knows anything.
We're just, you know. Oh yeah, definitely know what I
mean. So it's some people know more
than others, but like, yeah, I'mnot one of those people.
Still like predictings and forecasting?
Is it Oh, yeah, it, it really isbecause that is like how the NFL
is like you look at the the the Packers, like the first two
weeks, everyone's all high on them.
Like then we talked about they lost.
(01:46:07):
Now they're all low on them. And now the Bears are all,
they're all high. Everyone's down on the Cowboys
or the Chiefs. You know, they, you know,
they're struggling. Like that's what it is week to
week. And if, if the Chiefs win 3-4
games pretty convincingly now they're going to, oh, the Chiefs
are back and they're the greatest team in the world.
That's kind of how the NFL is it.
It's week to week like you have. That's why that that Browns game
ticked me off because, yeah, that was a close game.
(01:46:29):
You got to squeak that one out. You got to figure it out.
Like so many things went wrong because those games matter.
But but now we're on to the Cowboys.
Stop the hell out of them. And people are going to forget
about especially being an AFC loss.
So, like, you know, I mean, I forgot what I was talking about.
But yeah, just go on there and beat the crap out of the Cowboys
and make it convincing. Make Cowboy fans cry.
Make make men leave in the thirdquarter out of the living room
(01:46:52):
and go cut the grass because they're just so infuriated.
They don't want to think about stuff no more.
That's what I want to happen. All of Houston, all of Dallas
out there just cutting the grass, doing yard work, hacking
trees down because the Cowboys are getting humiliated again.
Honestly, they'll be incredible because then people be doing it
late at night because this is Sunday night.
(01:47:14):
Got him so razzled that they're out there doing yard work during
the night. That would be incredible.
Yeah, I'm rooting for that. This guys weed eating his yard
because at 9:30, because he's had enough.
He doesn't know what to do now. He's gonna go out there tonight.
He's got a flat play headband down.
He's out there just getting after it.
Exactly. And then the Packer fan next
(01:47:35):
door's like shut it down. We're celebrating over here,
bud. Got all the lights on up there.
There's a big party going on in the backyard and this guy's out
there out front, flashlight on his head, like I can't, I can't
be here right now. Yeah, dude, dude did.
Imagine being a Cowboys fan. Well.
There's a lot of them. Who?
Don't have jerseys right now because.
Oh yeah, burn them. They don't and they can't watch
(01:47:57):
the game because running jerseysbusting TV, that's what they do.
And they always, you know, I think I always think they're
funny with like the busting TV thing Cowboy fans, because it'll
be like there's magnificent living room.
Like you can just tell it's likea really high ceiling, really
glorious house, beautiful house, like a 13 inch TV getting
smashed like bro, we know you'restaging that all right, You're
going to have to bump it up to at least a 50 inch before I get
(01:48:18):
impressed. You know, I mean, you want to
smash ATV, don't smash ATV undera 50 inch and think I'm going to
be over there tapping a like button.
That's. My like bud at Walmart get one
of those on brands in 50 right and then it's convincing they
took the 65 off of the off of the mount to put that one on so
they could they could smash it right like that.
(01:48:39):
Yeah, and they act like we're supposed to be impressed.
They're always burning jersey. Someone has a bad game, they're
under burning jersey. I do.
I would be embarrassed to burn aPackers jersey.
So I don't care who the players.Like when Farve went to play
with the Vikings, that was like the most that I felt like just
like gutted like by a player because I I rocked with Farb.
Like I defended Farb so much during those down years.
(01:49:00):
I'd go to war with people on Facebook, like my uncles.
There's people I don't talk to still because of those years
because we would just go to war.And when he went to the Vikings,
it was just like so brutal. But I didn't like burn his
jersey. First of all, who cares?
It's already paid for. Like you think, you think farms
and you're like, oh man, there goes another one.
(01:49:21):
He's he's tallying him up. That was 13 in the last four
hours. Maybe I'll do something great
and they'll buy another one, youknow what I mean?
But yeah, I would never burn a jerk.
First of all. I would never did disrespect the
Packers in public. Like when that's why, Like when
I have my thoughts and like I'm yelling on my TV, like if I'm
watching the game by myself, like I feel like it's like
family, like where you don't. Like you might have a brother
(01:49:42):
that's like an alcoholic and you'd be like, yeah, you know
what I mean? Billy got a drinking problem and
then someone else like, yeah, Billy's an alcohol.
Like you, you mind your business, you know what I mean?
That's why you defend your team. It's so true.
Like you defend your family and you don't speak I'll of them in
public. I mean, some people do because
obviously some people that's what they do for a living and
that's what they do or not even for a living, but like that's
(01:50:05):
how they run their podcast. Whatever.
But for me, I'm just a fan. So like, I, I'm not going to be
airing out my team's dirty laundry.
I mean, I'll say like when they, when they crapped the bed, like
the offensive line sucked this last game.
I'm not going to be like, you know, sugar coat and everything
like, oh, it's all fine. No, but like I try not to
because other people get enjoyment from that, like Bears
fans and Viking fans who I troll.
(01:50:26):
And then if I'm on a stream, like yelling about the Packers,
screaming on ranting, then they they're happy.
And I ain't here to make Viking fans happy.
Yeah, that's true. That's true.
Anyway, well it's funny cuz cuz we'll be on this podcast and
like just talking mad crap abouthow bad the Packers are in this
area or how mad we are about this loss.
You know, maybe God forbid they strung 2 losses together and
(01:50:48):
we're like. Burning all.
Fire everybody, you know, But then I just got to see, you
know, one Bears fan or Lions fanrunning their mouth.
About like who you know. Packers long snapper isn't so
good. I'm like you.
What came over here? I'm gonna beat the crap out of
you. Yeah, like, dude, you.
Only I can say that, yeah. Dude, absolutely.
(01:51:09):
And then they can say, like I say all that, but there's
nothing wrong with people being like we're listening, but like,
hey, this is the problem over here.
Like I joke or whatever, but like obviously the opposite line
was an issue I was. Horrible a Packer fan, Yeah, but
if you're. An but you don't wanna hear from
other people. Yeah, that's why I don't like to
put it out there cuz they'll be in my comments like I agree they
suck. I can't have that cuz I talk a
(01:51:30):
lot of trash and I'm gonna continue to talk guys.
But I am very confident in this team, the Browns game, whatever
it was, they got to fix that offat the line and they got to make
that consistent. That can't be a thing that
happens regularly. But like this defense is so
good. The special teams like first of
all, like what's going on with Rich, You know what I mean?
Like he's a look, here's my thing about Rich, if you let me
(01:51:51):
like Rich, they they they like him, They they like him.
He's a locker room guy. Everyone loves him.
I'm glad you know what I mean. Then he's the assistant head
coach. All right, keeping the assistant
head coach. Hire a special teams coordinator
then, and he can be the manager of the defense or the special
court, I don't care. But I feel like something has to
happen over here. I like Rich.
(01:52:12):
If he's good for the locker room, by all means.
I don't care. They can have 119 coaches for I
care. Pay them all.
It's not my money. I'm not chipping in So, but the
special teams got to get fixed like once and for all.
Like everyone's all jacked up. You know, we got a kicker and
you know, and then he misses it.That, that that was a block.
It was a low kick. And I'm not trashing a guy cuz
like, hopefully they, they figure that out.
(01:52:32):
But like that was the worst opportunity to like for that to
happen. And it's like the special teams
dude for the moment of attention.
I'm gonna love that Rich gets. Well.
They all need we need a field goal earlier in the game and
they almost blocked that one. Yeah, it's like, and I didn't
know special teams like Guru by any means.
Like I didn't realize it was lowuntil I saw on Twitter and I
watched it. I'm like, that was low cuz I'm
(01:52:54):
in a live stream too. So you're gonna look at
comments. You're not really not dialing on
a field goal. Like Oh my God, that was a
little bit low. But yeah, they got to fix
special teams problem because fix the simple stuff like try to
knock off the penalties a littlebit, you know, catch the ball,
don't have field goals blocked, clean up special teams, don't
let long returns. You're not asking like to be the
(01:53:14):
end all be all. But the secondary I feel like is
kind of like paying off for it. Cuz like I expected that the
passing defense to kind of be sluggish and they're like really
doing their thing. So I guess they're like, hey,
we're gonna stop the pass, but we're not going to stop the rush
on offense. So like, you got to give and
take. No, but like just clean up a few
things. And I think this team could be
(01:53:35):
really, really good. Defense is going to bail him out
a lot this year. But you can't have like if
you're playing another defense that's similar to your defense
and then you just follow, you just, you know, K, if your
offense can't do nothing, like you can't lose a game, you the
defense only allows like 13 points.
Like that just can't happen. Well, and the the Browns also
are three and 17 in the last 20 games.
(01:53:57):
And I'm, yeah, I'm. Supposed to, but that's why
they're going to give the. Packers a pass because because
they they went up against Miles Garrett.
I'm sorry, what about the 17 other games that were played
where where I'm sorry, Michael or Miles Garrett was available
for most of those? Yeah, yeah.
But now they're going to go on arun.
This is probably the first game of them being the greatest team
(01:54:18):
in the NFL. That's the only.
Way, I'm sure, yeah. Let me cope.
Hopefully, I mean just continue to coast until Monday, November
10th and then we get a real test, right?
Like that's you'd hope that Cowboys, Bengals, Cardinals,
Steelers, Panthers goes pretty smoothly until you get to Philly
and then division play, which you know, that's gonna be weird
(01:54:40):
that it is weird. We've we've talked about that JJ
right. Like playing week one against
visual opponent and then then million percent see you guys in
November and December. Like that's yeah, I don't.
That's very weird cuz they get in two different teams though.
Yeah, yeah, you're getting good.Like all the line fans with the
excuses, which I don't allow, like what was the first game of
the season and we had a new coordinator, which is funny cuz
(01:55:00):
the excuse came after the game, before the game.
Like we're gonna beat the crap out of you.
But but I I do think it's it, itis interesting because the first
game that that Packers line, both those teams are not going
to be the same team. You're going to have guys in IR
hopefully not, but like that's what's going to happen.
You're going to you know, they, they change kind of their
philosophy, like as they go defenses to catch on stuff, they
kind of change as even if it's alittle bit they they do change.
(01:55:22):
You're going to get Matthew Golden even Week 1 was a rookie
and just nothing by that time, probably no, but he's going to
be a more seasoned guy. He's be more part of this game
plan probably and like, yeah, soboth teams are going to be
different. But I do like how the NFL
schedule worked out this year. I don't like the divisions of
(01:55:43):
week one that I. Cared to play.
I don't. I got one problem at work
schedule. A massive problem with schedule.
I hate one problem with the season.
We we play the Bears twice in three weeks.
Can we please play them at the beginning of the year and the
end of the year? Yeah.
Everybody that could have. Been we do that, that'd be fun.
I don't like that twice. Twice in three weeks.
(01:56:04):
That's always stupid. But like, they kind of do that
with the Bears a couple Times Now.
I don't know what that's about. Dude, I think they work really
hard to schedule to begin this season and then come to the end.
They're like, it's kind of like like like how I did the Madden
draft, like when I'm playing franchise mode on Madden and
then I'll do like the first 3 rounds of the draft, I'm like,
yeah, just simulate the threats.I don't care, Figure it out,
clean up the roster spots. I just, I neglected in the first
(01:56:27):
3 rounds because. And I feel like that's how they
deal with the schedule. Like they're focused all dialed
in on the beginning and then at the end they're like, yeah, just
fill it in. If the players, you know, teams
are playing with each other, yeah, twice in three weeks is
stupid unless it's like a playoff situation, end of the
season, you know that that will happen.
But the schedule that way is stupid.
I feel like the best of the Packers Bears, like I think all
(01:56:48):
division games should. They should try to spread the
model, start the model like. I like that that the.
Line I would like to play all three of our division rivals
early in the season and late in the season yeah it doesn't have
to all be in September right yeah but like by the end of
October I want I want to play toall three of our rivals that
would be nice one time and then like let's let's have at least a
(01:57:10):
full 6 to 8 weeks in between yeah games against our division
rivals like to your whole point about but they're a different
team by the time you play them the next time like that's kind
of what part of what makes it fun is that whoever loses that
first one yeah gets themselves into like hey we want.
(01:57:31):
To talk trash. Yeah, exactly.
Let it sit like again, even if even if Green Bay were to lose
one of these, right, like they lose the first one in Chicago.
It's like the Bears don't even get to talk trash that long.
It's like we'll see in, you know, 13.
Days or whatever? Yeah, 2 days.
That's it. And yeah, I don't.
It is just wait, one of these years they're gonna do, we're
(01:57:53):
gonna play the Bears on Sunday and then again on Thursday.
One of these years, they're gonna make us do that.
I think that that's the only good thing about having that
small window is that if you do lose, you could be fired up and
still feel that, feel that pain and feel that fire when you play
them again. But that's the only good thing.
And I would I would vote againstit entirely.
(01:58:13):
Like I don't like the play in the same, especially the
division rival. I mean, I guess it's the only
one you could play twice here. But like, yeah, they got to,
they got to spread that out. It's happened before, like in
the past, like with the Vikings.I remember.
Yeah, it's stupid. Spread it all a little bit.
Let let me. Spread the other.
Bears throw the whole season. I don't want to jam pack at all.
(01:58:35):
Like the Christmas window. I'm trying to feel jolly over
here. Yeah, right.
But now I got to bash the bears and do Bears Still Suck song,
You know what I mean? You know, here's here's the
other thing. So it's it's week 14 and week 16
that we play the bears. And so theoretically, if we both
(01:58:57):
make the playoffs, we could thenplay them a third time in What
is that six weeks? Like, miss me with that crap.
I don't want to play the same team three times in six weeks.
That's happened like with the Vikings.
But let me don't worry JJ and and.
That's he's going to talk to theschedule that.
Ain't no, but that's not going to.
Happen like I'm tired of call bad policy.
(01:59:19):
You think the Bears can make theplayoffs?
Like what? The Lions like what they did the
Cowboys, The Lions are kind of come along.
And you know that even after thePackers beat the Lions, the week
when I knew the Lions weren't gonna be they weren't gonna fall
off. They weren't gonna be like turn
into the Bears. Yeah, the the Vikings seem like
they have a quarterback nine that they'll win some stuff.
The chance of the Bears making the playoffs.
(01:59:39):
I'm not saying the Vikings gonnabe end all be all, but the whole
division isn't gonna make the playoffs.
You know what I mean? Like, probably not.
I don't care what the Bears do. And I just have no faith in the
Bears. The coach is, I don't care who
the coach. Is there not?
To they could bring in Belichick.
I mean, I know he's doing his thing in North Carolina and that
whole thing. Whatever I would, I would
welcome the. Like, you know, that's a whole
(02:00:00):
other thing. Doesn't matter who.
You're bringing to. Chicago yeah, the whole thing
like he's getting he's talking to his and I've never seen a
coach like would have his wife or his girlfriend on the
sideline. They're chit chatting like while
the game while you're getting blown up.
But anyways, that's a whole other thing but like.
I don't. I was going to college for real.
I'm on. Top of coaching I guess he's got
to get 4 years of like. I think he doesn't.
(02:00:21):
Care. I don't know what that is.
It's. Wild.
I feel like he's just like, I don't care anymore.
We're gonna, you know, let me enjoy my life.
I was super serious for all those years, Won all those
championships. Let me live.
You know what I mean? Once I saw that booty call Ring
camera footage, I knew Bill was.I do remember that one.
Here's that thing, yes. Here's the other thing.
Do you know where Bill Bell got derailed?
(02:00:43):
Ended college. What the hell is?
University sounds like a barn burner.
Man, what a grand. I will say this.
I will say. This he doesn't get out of the
system. But the people who say that that
that whole dynasty with the Patriots was just Brady and
Belichick had nothing to do withit and this proves it, this and
that, I think that's BSI feel like the same thing with Farv
(02:01:05):
and Holmgren. I don't think Farv would have
been a household name without Holmgren and that Holmgren might
not have been known without Farv.
I feel like certain coaches and certain quarterbacks come
together and just magic happens. And what they had in the
Patriots was just magic. Wasn't just Brady and Belichick,
but like the GM, like they had athey, they kind of made a almost
a college atmosphere where like players knew they'd come there,
(02:01:26):
play, play for less, probably win a championship, maybe not.
But either way, you're gonna be really good.
Get a contract, go somewhere else.
Hopefully you win a ring while you're there.
So that they had like a whole system of just winning like in
that room. And I think Belichick and Brady
work together. But like people who disrespect
Brady or Belichick and say like it was all Brady, I just don't
see that. I think Belichick was a great
coach, like other coaches fearedhim and just off being
(02:01:49):
Belichick, other coaches just made bad mistakes.
Like I just I think Belichick deserve this too.
And you know, booty calling overon the ring cameras like that,
that was the best venue ever. When I saw that ESPN anymore, I
was like, I don't even watch like that much.
When I saw it, I've ever seen itin the morning, I was like, is
that Bill Belichick? Like he's the most respected
coach in like all of sports at that moment and he's over here
(02:02:12):
like tiptoeing down the steps ofthis like rundown.
I don't know. Anyways, but talk to Bill
Belichick and when he was on theNFL thing, he showed a lot of
love to Lambeau and like Lombardi and all so.
I love the. Respect to Packard.
Yeah, I like him. You know what I mean?
Especially now that the the Patriots dynasty is dead.
Now I can I have 0 guilt about loving Belichick and I.
(02:02:35):
Can, but he's still #2 though toLombardi and and I'll.
I will die on that Cliff. You can gut me.
Million. People Waltz can come eat me.
That's where I will be on the hill.
But I also think that you can't compare those two at all.
But people are going to. And if you're going to, I, I go
history every single time. Lombardi was #1 but Belichick
(02:02:56):
probably, you know, he got inspired by him, so that makes
him #2 anyways. I think comparing #1 and #2 all
time is a a very worthwhile comparison and and we can do
that to the end of time because they didn't.
But it's different, like John, the different decade, the
different the games really like the the the games of the 60s is
(02:03:18):
not the games of today. But like, I think, I think
they're both warranted. I think they're both great.
What Belichick did is insane, like that whole thing, but I
don't, I don't think it was justhim, but like he was.
I mean, on this podcast we compare Matt Ramage and and Brad
Pitt, so. Yeah, we can compare.
Number one and number. Two, dude, that's a good
looking. I, you know, I, I feel like I
(02:03:39):
look at Brad Pitt. I've seen pitches of Brad Pitt
before. I don't think I've ever seen him
look this good looking. You know what I mean?
I feel like this is his best view.
Well, he's finally looking you right in the eyes, so you know
what I mean. You.
You could like full beauty. I got I got 2 screens open right
now. He's looking at me right both
those pictures. All right, I, I have to get
(02:04:03):
going out this thing. Yeah, man, thanks for sticking
around here for two freaking hours, you were supposed.
To leave you guys. Hour ago.
An hour ago this. I got no time.
No, you guys are awesome. Jake is really smart and yeah,
it's fun to talk to. I'm.
Gonna actually. Fun to talk to you.
No, I don't actually do it. I always say if I insult you,
(02:04:25):
that means I like you. You know what I mean?
So I don't know what that says about Jake.
Yeah, it's probably. Yeah, there's something to.
That I'm like, you're a really nice guy.
He thinks he knows everything. No, you guys are both awesome.
You're great at what you do and keep doing it.
But I appreciate you having me on here.
(02:04:45):
Yeah, well, thanks man. We appreciate you.
Hope you can come back on again soon, maybe later in the year
maybe maybe you're going to haveto come back on to celebrate
this complete butt whipping we're going to dish out to the
Dallas Cowboys yeah 32nd cameo or something I.
Yeah, like we definitely should have.
(02:05:07):
I'm I'm doing live streams like every day now or like Monday
through Friday, so it'd be harder, but we can figure it out
because if I come on your show, I'll just do my live stream
earlier. I couldn't today because I I
went I went to met AI have a producer on my live streams now
and I went met him for the firsttime didn't get murdered.
So that's always cool when you meet people on the Internet, you
don't get killed. Yeah, yeah, it's always a
because you know. Well, it's not it's never a 0
(02:05:29):
per chance per chance that's gonna happen.
So where do you want to meet Lambeau Atrium.
Lots of witnesses. No, but but yeah, I I can always
do earlier. I could come back and hang out.
This is fun. Your your your comments section
is banging. You guys are awesome.
You know, you got the smart, yougot the bearded guy, then you
(02:05:50):
bring in the drunk guy who says stuff.
It's a it's a 3 amigos and this has been derailed.
I appreciate you, Matt, for joining us.
This was a super fun time. In the words of the late, great
Mr. Ed policy. Hey JJ, you picked the game.
To J Policy. I I'm over there.
(02:06:10):
Why are you doing that policy? Like I saw you bring up the
policy thing like you're about to like shut down the live
stream. You didn't pick the game.
What are you doing? All right, so so I'll hang out.
I'll. Betting.
Markets betting markets are saying Packers 27, Cowboys 20.
I'm going to go Packers 37, Cowboys 20.
(02:06:32):
I, I think that, and I think it's gonna be a little more
lopsided than that until late. And the Packers are gonna do
their typical shtick of allowinggarbage time points, you know,
maybe, maybe 7 or 10 garbage time points they're gonna give
up to to the Cowboys. And, and if you actually watch
the game, you'll know it was never that close.
(02:06:52):
So that's, yeah, that's my official prediction.
It's 3721. Question before we go as well.
Zach Prescott's played Green Bay6 times.
How many picks has he thrown do you think, in six games?
Well, I know the last time we played he had three picks, so
I'm going to say. 9. 9 is exactly what I was going to say
(02:07:13):
as well. What is it?
Well, it's 10 all right, 10 and and the last three he's thrown
70 really. All right, so.
I like, you know. You know, I I've always been a
big guy. DAC Prescott.
He's he's going to give. You 2.
I like DAC Prescott. I do him, he's.
Going to give you. Two, I like him playing for the
Cowboys, but but he's. We got, you know, we got Xavier
(02:07:36):
McKinney and, and he's kind of aball hawk.
I I think he'll get one. And then Edrin Cooper's been
really trying to get one. So, you know, we'll have to see
like, hey, you know, do the Cowboys take advantage and, and,
you know, scheme up some double moves to take advantage of his
aggressiveness and, and burn himthat way or does he, does he
(02:07:56):
take one to the house? So I'll, I'll say 2
interceptions in this game by the Packers defense.
I think Evan Williams for sure. Evan Williams gets interception
#2 No. I think.
Wolf of this thing. Monty.
Wise can get one. I think an odd player is gonna
get one, like a linebacker, Someone Like You never predict
to get it. And I think it's me, a tip ball,
something to happen. Hopper, maybe one of the big
(02:08:18):
guy, maybe Rashawn Gary tumbling, rumbling and
stumbling. Old Rashawn Gary down the old
sideline for the touchdown. Yeah, that's what gets me, keeps
me awake at night. You know what?
I. Mean, I think Drew's got it
right here. We need to make a part kick to
get a pick 6. On Yeah, yeah, Prescott kept
that thing in the ale, catch himself, take it to the house.
And then right as he's going in deck, Prescott's running across
(02:08:40):
the field trying to be a hero, and he shoulders him down.
He rolls across, and then it cuts to Jerry Jones, and he's
like. No.
Deck. And then everyone cries, except
for Packer fans, and we rejoice.Yeah, I do have a question for
you. They have him drop into the
window of a double slant like like Savage did in the playoff
(02:09:01):
game, right? Like, But Micah's dropping from
the defensive line. Oh, my.
That that place is going to havea lot of pack rans in it.
They might that might erupt. You might hear like a noise
shift. What if if Parsons picks one
off? Dude, the the whole earth will
shift. Yeah, that's true.
Might have two I do have. I do have a question for you.
You were you were talking about how all these Cowboys fans are
(02:09:24):
gonna be out mowing their lawns at night, but what's Jerry Jones
gonna be doing because he's too rich to mow lawns?
I think that's rich people. Do they probably get massages
and they, you know what I mean? I know, I know.
The Patriots owner likes to get them.
I heard. I thought in the media.
I don't know what they're. Talking.
I regret asking this question. But, but I think Jerry Jones is
probably out there just getting loosened up.
(02:09:46):
I think when you're that old too, you got to get loosened up
every now and again because like, you're all, you're like
barely staying alive. You know, you got to get loose.
Like, you know, like The Simpsons, that rich guy in The
Simpsons, they're always loosening that guy up.
He can't barely move. They got to get got to get after
it. So I feel like that's what Jerry
Jones is doing, win or lose, they're lubing them up, they're
getting them loose and get them going for the rest of the work
(02:10:07):
week. Any other questions?
Sorry, No, no, Dear God, no. I don't need to see Jerry Jones
Mr. Burnsing it up as they they put them on the rack and stretch
them out and his old sinews and ligaments are just like
completely separating. Do it held together.
(02:10:29):
By I feel like that's what it is.
I I did. That's what's happening.
It's probably happening right now.
Probably happens all the time. Whenever he's not on TV, he's
just getting lubed up. They're just stop saying.
Loop. They're pounding the meat over
there, you know what I mean? They're, you know, working those
muscles. Oh man.
(02:10:49):
Stop. I don't know if we have Matt
back on here. I I might need to get a.
Little Hey, you brought on spiders.
I might have Matt on here. I talk about getting lubed up.
It's. So much.
Worse than the spiders? No, I.
I I watch spiders. Ed policy's never going to come
on this show. Now he's.
No, he's not. His eyes all jacked up.
Look at this guy. He's.
Just seeing this episode. I do not I do not concur with
(02:11:13):
this. Oh, you did this?
I didn't even notice that you. Just I didn't know this.
I didn't realize JJ thought it was always this.
I feel repulsed and offended. He said Brad Pitt, not Ed
policy. Unreal.
We're not on board. No, no.
(02:11:35):
All right loop. Happened again.
The comments. Are in wandered.
Podcast you're going to have a derail.
Podcast serious Remember one time in fifth grade a train came
off the tracks right by my school tipped over.
Smoke was going everywhere. There was like fire departments
and they were like, they were like everyone going to school
(02:11:57):
cuz then you know, like safety and all the kids were like no
school today. They just scattered throughout
the neighborhood and there was like cops like trying to find
kids and other kids like couldn't get through cuz the
train was tipped over and that was derailed.
That's something about derailed.Sounds like Super 8.
No, it was a good day. I remember we all just hung out.
We were just like, hey, no one knows where we are and it's
fine. And we got and then he found us.
(02:12:18):
So they're all. Oh my God, we're so scared.
But they weren't that scared. It was the 80s.
Kids were usually on their own anyways, but usually there
wasn't like chemical spills nearby, you know what I mean?
They're kind of waked out about that.
But anyway, the chat. 'S just the chat's just tossing
out titles for this thing and I'm.
Using it right now. I do appreciate when the chat
helps us see it's. Hard to they get titles, yeah.
(02:12:40):
I I appreciate it. That helps us title the episode.
Yeah, I don't think we can call this the roast of of the Dallas
Cowboys. Anymore.
Yeah, we didn't really do that, I think.
I think you roasted Ed Policy more than anything.
He's still there. He's still there.
Well, he's not leaving till we leave.
He's I, I. Do have to hand out?
Our award Wait here. Speaking of awards, here we go.
(02:13:02):
Awards right here. I have to hand out our award
Derailer of the Week. None other than obviously Matt
Ramage has to be our dealer. I think you're the one who
brought up spiders. No, I'm taking Jake.
Shut up. I brought up spiders, but Matt
Ramage is the one who started talking about Jerry Jones and
(02:13:24):
his baby oil on his. Listen, I didn't say baby.
Oil talked about that. I lubed up, Kneecap said that.
We talked about spiders, we talked about Ras, We did all
this. Talk about this all right, Jake,
I said I said lubed up and rightaway he says baby oil why did
you go to baby oil right away what do you know about baby oil
I'm. Not part of this one.
No, not you, Jake. I know, I know, I can't.
(02:13:45):
Want to make sure? Floor is his the floor is JJ.
So like, where do you I mean, have you got?
Is that your is that your go to when you're talking lubed up?
You're going to all. Baby no goose and old chat was
going you said baby oil and so II was trying to give him credit
for for what he was saying, but have you guys seen there's the
this what stupid the. Swift shop, The Swift shop.
He's like a Swift shop. He's like, hey, you guys ever
(02:14:07):
seen a movie before? We're moving.
On. It's.
The baby oil, there's this stupid ice cream sundae, viral
ice cream sundae that has baby oil on it.
It's like Graham crackers. What?
And something else in baby oil. Have you seen this?
No, I've never used baby oil. This might.
Be worse to look at than the spider, to be honest.
Yeah, I don't know if I want to see this.
(02:14:28):
What are you gonna? Find a photo of this.
Why do like, like, like the big podcast do this?
You're like, hey, they have a guy on the side and whenever
they think of some dumb thing like, hey, bring it up and they
bring it up trying to not everything needs to be on the
screen. Yeah, it's JJ.
Are you? Trying to get me to search this.
If you want I I can get it. I don't want you to know how I
no. Like I don't think anyone should
get it. You shouldn't Google baby oil,
(02:14:49):
first of all. You know what I mean?
Like, you got all kinds of dittystuff going on.
You don't need that in your life.
You're going to see some stuff. So, so I, I know I saw a video
of somebody eating it. It was Ed Curry, who's invented
the Carolina Reaper pepper smoking Ed Curry.
(02:15:13):
And he was doing a video of, of,of like antidotes for hot
Peppers, OK. And, and in the video, he ate
dirt. And he also did.
He tried the stupid viral ice cream sundae.
(02:15:34):
Did he eat the dirt first? He did.
He did the dirt first. Because I feel like you eat dirt
first, like nothing's going to taste good.
And then I said that would otherwise, but I'm 100%.
Though you eat you. Know if you take a trap on a a
big old turd and you eat like some glorious, you know, Glazer
afterwards, it's probably not going to go down that good, you
know what I mean? You already got the that, you
(02:15:55):
know, hunk of turd in your mouth, you know?
What? I mean, I feel like that's not
if we're going to do a science, you know, experiment, do it the
right way, you got to separate, you got to rinse, repeat.
You know what I mean? I think so.
I've I've I've just pulled up a video of JJ.
I'm sorry, I asked what your prediction was for the game.
(02:16:16):
I apologize. I apologize.
Almost ended. I apologize.
I asked what your prediction was.
JJ, That's on me. That's on.
Yeah. And and first of all, he.
That's on me. We were so JJ was like, JJ was
stretching over the finish line and I just like ripped him
backwards and like. Yeah, now look at him.
He's bringing up videos from this.
Guy, look, so he's gonna he's gonna eat the dirt here.
(02:16:36):
Let's see if I can turn the volume up.
Why is he eating dirt? Did you not try this at home?
Or now he's on fire. You.
Don't try. It.
I'd still You're gonna tell me, bud, you.
Gave it Adi, can't believe it. That's crazy.
He's like, yeah, that's just about.
Walking off the home. Hey JJ take a crap in my mouth
(02:16:57):
and he does like hey don't try it at home.
Also don't recommend didn't taste good at all.
You give it an. F grade.
He gave it AD which means could have been worse.
There is that I mean, I mean. The worst like I ever put in my
mouth, but obviously. Like a turf.
(02:17:20):
Sunday Here it goes the this. This is what you're talking
about, Yeah. Okay, sure, started with this.
This seems a lot better than thedirt.
He did the dirt. He ate the dirt.
Yes, watch. Out of order.
Sunday ice cream, soft teens, honey and then we're going to
put baby shampoo. That's disgusting.
(02:17:44):
Really. I can't believe.
It. No, and this sucks.
It's like it sucks. Let's say I get it punched in
the face by Mike Tyson and you're like, you know what?
That hurts. I didn't.
I simply cannot believe it sucks.
I can't. I can't believe he that he
thinks it's bad. It's crazy.
Is that the thing? He just does weird stuff and
(02:18:05):
then says it's not good? Yeah, First of all, ice cream
good on its own. Don't add soap to it.
It's like And then. Why aren't we eating dirt?
I'm going to I got to go figure this out.
Why are we eating it? So what was the greatest?
This he gave dirt, AD he gave this Taltina.
He gave this thing AZ, which is I think is hilarious.
(02:18:26):
I can't believe this. I got to go.
I should never have asked what JJ's pick was for this game.
That was the tough part. We just, we kept going and
derailed. Reached a new level there.
There was something there. This last, Yeah, I don't even
know that we were ever railed, you know what I mean?
That's. 15 minutes that last 15 is is one for the books right
(02:18:48):
there that might need. To Oh yeah, two hours even
August stream I've ever been up.Even hands over your hearts.
We are doing this right. In the words of the late great
Ed policy. Go, pet, go.
Thank you all for listening to this ridiculous dream and.
Why would you listen to this? What's going on with your life?
You know what I mean? Like what decisions are you
making?
