Speaker 1 (00:09):
Hi guys, I'm just
getting ready for today's
episode of Basic Quest byputting all of my dice in color
order and alpha order and all ofthat stuff, like everybody does
.
But I'm also getting ready fortoday's episode of Basic Quest
by telling you about what wehave at intermission, which is
super exciting because onceagain we have our friends from
the get brown joining us toteach a little bit about some of
(00:32):
the finer points of the basiclanguage and culture.
So make sure to stick around atintermission for seeing them.
And in the meantime, here isthe beginning of today's episode
of Basic Quest.
Don't worry, I won't be talkinglike this the whole time.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
Welcome to the
seventh episode of this week and
welcome to the recap.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
Anjali, yeah, it's
all downhill from here.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
How have things been
going for you and the party so
far?
Speaker 1 (01:02):
Well, for me, anjali,
they're going great, but for
the party it's a little like notso great.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
Anjali doing great
Sitara, maybe struggling Sitara
is definitely struggling.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
So at the beginning
of the last episode, we had just
emerged from the zone of dreador the demon of dread, that
dread place, the bad place, theplace we didn't want to be, and
we discovered that Namir hadsacrificed himself for us and
become the new Lord of Wrath, which was a very, very sad
(01:32):
moment.
And then we started to talkwith these goblin folk who
showed up on crazy phase spidersLike crazy like bam, they were
scary.
Speaker 4 (01:44):
They were pretty cool
.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Now, admittedly,
backtrack, backtrack, backtrack.
You know what happened beforethat.
This is what happened beforethat.
All of a sudden, deus ex priyacomes riding down the levas.
She's on the float and shebrought us a new friend named
Nuri Nuri.
And Nuri is bad ass.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Nuri really cracked
that web stage, managed and got
you all in trouble.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
I really would have
loved it if Sitara could have
worked with Nuri a little bit tostart her own production
company, because I feel like, between the two of us, I would
have been the creative one, shewould have been the one that got
everything.
She's the COO, I'm the COE.
Speaker 5 (02:21):
You know I feel like
that's something, but maybe for
the future.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Anyway, so one of the
phase spiders was a big scary
phase spider, so we startedattacking it.
But then Nuri, who actuallyspoke a bissel, could speak to
the goblins and to the phasespiders, and we basically found
out we just had to make a veryloud noise and that spider would
go away.
Yeah, and then we began to talkwith the two goblins, one of
whose name was Multan, I think.
(02:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (02:47):
Multan, the Sultan
yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
So we tried to
negotiate with him to give us
some mounts, and he did.
And he did, but only inexchange for and I completely
understand this a little bit ofa brand glow up from me and
Natasha, who among us hasn'ttweeted some nefarious things
and then needed a little bit offear, yeah.
I need a little bit of like afixer in there.
So, Natasha God lover, the sweetgirl who felt so badly about
(03:14):
how things had gone.
At the end of the last episode,we finally gave her this
awesome purpose and got her tosafety by sending her off with
Multan.
So now all of us had these dopeass phase spiders that we could
ride on, and it went partlywell and partly not so well
depending on who you were.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
So, but I mean, you
made it to Silgar.
We did make it to Silgar Withall your limbs attached.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
Yes, we all made it
there and suddenly and this was
so cool we made it to the townand everybody started
recognizing Ladooanty.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Yes, local celebrity,
ladooanty of the franchise,
ladooanty Right and we were veryconfused.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
You guys didn't know
that, but we were very, very
skeptical, because I thought thesame thing that Ladooanty did.
I knew this you know well, ofcourse.
You know everything.
You're like the see all, be all, know all things.
That's your job.
You are the omnipresent one.
So we got there and wediscovered that there were
nefarious people working aroundin the marketplace.
So, we started to hunt them, westarted to figure out where
(04:10):
they are.
I shaped change into anoridinian grandmother and we
ended up meeting a new friend,Sonia who was terrified because
the bad guys had her sister.
But you were able to find thesister.
Well, I was able to find thesister, but not before all the
baddies started attacking us andwe started getting giant waves
of negative energy and whohasn't had that happen in like
(04:30):
real life Waves of gender?
Speaker 3 (04:32):
There's a baby
beholder.
That's got to be some positiveenergy.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
The baby beholder the
cutest mini I think we have
ever seen in our entire lives.
So we desperately attempted tothwart these nefarious folk, but
unfortunately and this is thesad place that we find ourselves
now- the ritual.
The ritual that one of them wascasting, as we had been hearing
the lamenting wails ofSil-Salan from atop the mountain
(05:00):
all of a sudden, that wailstopped and we saw some kind of
crazy spirit.
The bad guy spirit emerge fromone of these lesser bad guys and
our beloved new friend Nuri, who was a devotee of Sil-Salan,
(05:20):
had the life drain out of her, just like we think.
Maybe Sil-Salan has drained outof her, but I had hope.
I don't think she's.
She's not dead, she's justdrained of life.
There's a difference.
You know, glass half full.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
So your glass is
completely full, my glass is
completely full.
I've been talking a lot andthat positivity might fair, you
know, might help you in the nextbattle.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
I won't get a skill.
Do you never know?
Speaker 3 (05:44):
I'm excited to get
into this finale.
We're dressed for success?
We sure are.
Are you ready?
Speaker 1 (05:49):
I was born.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
ready, let's get into
it More chai.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
More chai, more chai,
more chai, more chai, more chai
.
Speaker 7 (06:07):
More chai, more chai.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
Although I've enjoyed
your company here, I feel that
our new found friendship demandssome degree of honesty.
Noren says to you her hair kindof like absentmindedly up
writing cups on the shelvesaround her domain.
Speaker 6 (07:40):
Whatever you require,
I will divulge.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
I think the divulging
must come from my end.
Speaker 6 (07:49):
I see.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
The girls who you
sacrificed yourself to save.
They're my girls.
Speaker 6 (08:02):
Oh, I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
I am too, or at least
I wish I could be, in this far
removed state.
I blamed my husband, for whenyou try to close in your fist
something that is liquid, thepressure tends to send it
(08:28):
through the gaps.
Yes, it does, but the fault wasnot solely his.
The deity of judgment, rukonhe's.
He sowed paranoia in my husband, in my consort.
Speaker 6 (08:56):
And through that your
daughters paid a price.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
We tried to convince
him that if he didn't join in
his senseless war against mortalkind, that eventually modernity
would take more Bonnie forestand take our family.
That if he didn't safeguard thefuture and force my daughters
to this path, that all wouldeventually fall to the march of
(09:29):
time and industrialization.
And when sohan Syria passed inmy rage, he convinced me that
the best judgment was to banishmy husband, and so I did.
(09:50):
I did not realize that it woulddam my own daughters and in my
grief and in my loss I wantednothing more than to be free of
(10:11):
it and to be free of the heart,to be free of the plane.
But now I feel rage and now Iwant vengeance, and now I will
(10:36):
not allow my inaction to tearany more families apart.
This is the gift you've givenme and I am going to give you a
gift.
I will allow you to don fleshand I will allow you to take a
(11:03):
small vestige of my power andsmite Rukhan once and for all.
Will you do this for me?
Speaker 6 (11:17):
Will I, on your
behalf, send the being that
conned you and your husband andtook from you so much?
Will I, on your behalf, sendthem back to where they belong?
Speaker 3 (11:42):
It is a big ask.
Speaker 6 (11:45):
Everything has a
place.
Sometimes something forgetswhat that place is for them, and
they trespass and they take andthey violate.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
I cannot bear to have
more taken from me, and I
cannot bear to see him take fromanyone else.
Then he won't.
Speaker 6 (12:19):
I will put him in his
place.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
Then you go with my
blessing.
Speaker 6 (12:33):
Let us go.
Speaker 3 (12:36):
Welcome to the final
episode of this request.
I brought someone to tormentyou.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
I just lamented your
death.
Speaker 6 (12:59):
In a loving and
friendly way.
But torment, it will be whatlies.
Speaker 8 (13:05):
You said you were
gone.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
All right, welcome to
the finale of this request.
We're dressed for a wedding, but we should be dressed for a
funeral.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
We already lamented
the death of one person at this
table and they're right there,so I think we're doing pretty
well.
Speaker 6 (13:27):
You brought me back.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Yes, are you here I?
Speaker 2 (13:28):
don't trust it.
What are you going to do?
Speaker 1 (13:32):
No, no, no, no, no,
no, no, no, no, no no no, no, no
no.
I don't like it.
I don't like it.
I don't like it.
Speaker 3 (13:47):
You find yourselves
in a market much more somber
than it was Yesterday.
It was full of jibylation, fullof commerce.
Now it's full of people pickingup the remains of their
livelihoods and trying theirbest to go about their business.
You see your compatriot Nooryfall to the ground from the
(14:18):
rooftop.
She was on lifelessly.
Just as this barrier comesshattering out like a sonic boom
shaking the ground hereon, thedark cultists also fall to the
ground, senseless.
As you crowd around Noory, youknow you would see the life has
(14:41):
been drained from her.
Her eyes don't respond, herskin feels cold instead of the
usual warmth of her Genasibloodline.
Erica did leave a message forall of you, sitara.
You see a notebook clutched inNoory's hand, the notebook she
(15:04):
scribbles in All day In it youread.
Keep it cool.
Don't treat talent weird.
Don't let her know you're a fanand trust that in the future
(15:27):
you'll get to work together.
Stay calm, don't fangirl andmake sure she has everything she
needs, because if you give hereverything she needs, she'll be
sure to shine.
The journal goes on.
To read A number of small actsof kindness might seem like
(15:54):
they're pointless.
Something as small as makingsure that people are fed.
They have what they need to dotheir jobs.
Sometimes it can be a thanklessjob, but those small acts of
kindness ripple out and, like awave of color, they give the
world beauty.
I don't know if I can saveSilsalon, but I know I can help
(16:18):
these people and so I'll focuson that.
You see, folded between thepages, made out of waxed
parchment, a hastily craftedpinwheel.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
I just take the
pinwheel and hold it like this
so that Murkars can see it andgive it to Bachar.
Can I sense whether she isrevivable or if this is
completely, this is the end?
(16:55):
Can I sense any sense of lifein her?
Speaker 3 (16:58):
Give me an arcana
check or medicine.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
The one time an
Indian is bad at medicine, it's
now.
Okay, I'm actually better atmedicine 18.
Speaker 3 (17:11):
You think her fate is
tied?
Speaker 1 (17:16):
to Silsalon's and we
can't hear the wailing anymore.
Speaker 3 (17:19):
No, your eyes turn to
the lake at the summit of the
mountains, where you know shemakes her residence.
There, standing at the nowshattered crystalline spires
that were the source of thissort of negative energy force
(17:41):
field, you see a familiar face.
Speaker 6 (17:46):
Whoa.
So emerging from the lake,mm-hmm, slowly, as if, as if
someone were able to have allthe time in the world, moving
(18:08):
slowly, step by step, walkingstraight to you.
And although in his body thereis the sense of time eternal, on
his face there is nothing buturgency.
And with every step hismovement quickens and it's
(18:29):
faster and faster as heapproaches you all.
You're all here, you're here.
Speaker 5 (18:46):
Why are you here?
Can you help?
Our friend has fallen.
He's a god now.
Maybe he can help us.
Speaker 6 (18:55):
I'll approach their
fallen friend.
I don't know if I even need toget that close.
I already know what you justdescribed, mm-hmm, this won't be
the only victim.
There is much to do in solittle time.
There is an imbalance thatneeds fixing, are you?
Speaker 5 (19:18):
ready?
Yes, tell us what we must do.
Speaker 6 (19:24):
Do you not know what
to do yet?
How long has it been since I'veseen you?
Speaker 1 (19:30):
Is Cilsilan still
alive in any form?
There's?
Speaker 6 (19:35):
still a chance, okay,
but the life is being drained.
We must go to her and puteverything back into the balance
that it so desperately needs tobe put in.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
And our adversary and
hers.
Speaker 6 (19:54):
We all share the same
adversary.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
What do you know of
him?
Anything that would help us,the trespasser?
Speaker 6 (20:00):
Mm-hmm, the god of
judgment.
Yes, he doesn't belong here.
His place is elsewhere, mm-hmm,and I need your help to send
him back.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
You shall have it.
Um, I'm real quick.
I'm going to go down to Nuri'sbody and say I am so sorry, dear
friend, but you always seem tohave everything that we need.
I just want to search Nuri'sbody to see if there's anything
that we might be able to use inour.
I know she had a bag of holdinga bunch of stuff in it that
(20:35):
she's pulling stuff out of.
Give me an investigation, check, diedence.
That's how I cast Diedence.
Speaker 5 (20:43):
In case you haven't
seen it See if there's any extra
spell slots in there 19 plus.
Check.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
Numir right 20 plus.
Yeah, 20 plus.23.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
I'll do a check 23.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
Both of you roll
insight Diedence.
Speaker 5 (21:05):
I just trust
everybody, so.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
Stay out, we don't
need it.
With Guidance, I get 14.
Oh okay, can you?
Speaker 7 (21:16):
only do it with one
person.
Speaker 8 (21:18):
Mine is worse.
Speaker 7 (21:20):
This is investigation
.
Or insight.
Speaker 8 (21:24):
Insight.
Okay, so that's going to be 14as well.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
We're all in
deception.
Speaker 6 (21:34):
Okay, I will.
Speaker 4 (21:38):
Can I?
Speaker 6 (21:38):
offer a yeah.
It's either deception orpersuasion.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
Yeah, yeah.
We'll see what you all figureout, yeah, Mm-hmm 17.
Speaker 6 (21:53):
You've approached
Nuri Mm.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
Also, it was at 23.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
You find two potions
of healing.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
I put my hand on her
heart and perhaps we can put her
somewhere that's not the middleof the street.
Um, can we leave her with thevendor that you helped?
Gauri, mommy, gauri.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
Mommy.
Yeah, I think we're closeenough that I can leave a dead
body there.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
And where's Sonia?
Where's Sonia and her sister?
Speaker 3 (22:24):
You see Sonia and her
comforting her sister, mm-hmm,
where she has like, removed thebindings from her.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
Okay, I just want to
run over to Sonia and check were
these the ones?
These two?
These were the only ones thatyou saw.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
Yes, I don't think
there's much time.
Yeah, I think you must go tothe summit, so let's go.
Speaker 6 (22:46):
We must go now.
What state are you all in?
Not a great one.
Speaker 1 (22:51):
Yes, pretty her.
Speaker 3 (22:52):
From the lake where
you emerged, you now see,
reflected in the lake, anethereal battle taking place,
and as you approach the summit,it turns from a reflection into
something more real.
Uh-uh, you see the Lord ofJudgment.
(23:17):
Oh snap.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
And you see much more
ethereal, barely in a physical
state.
More reflection sills along, channeling life from one to the
other, suspended above the lake,a reflection made real.
You see a being channelingpower from the beyond.
Ash, you healed Bria beforehealing yourself.
Speaker 5 (23:52):
Okay, I hope that's
the good sign.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
Auntie, you took the
time to help a shopkeep when one
of your members didn't, and youhelped her pick up the pieces
of her shattered businessafterwards.
Speaker 5 (24:08):
Oh, it's going to
help her later.
Speaker 3 (24:12):
No, no, all of you
resolved the dispute with the
Racknit Court peacefully.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
We'll need more for
that one.
Speaker 5 (24:23):
Oh shit.
Speaker 3 (24:25):
And when, faced with
the horrible conclusion of what
had happened to one of yourcompatriots, two of you paid
homage to Namir.
Maybe his boon will help you.
Your reckless gambit tocommandeer the airship resulted
(24:45):
in family being left homelessand with Bria being left to pick
up the pieces.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
I don't think so Put
us in contact.
Speaker 3 (25:00):
Namir was forced to
give up his life to save you
from an encounter that you werenot prepared for.
Okay, but he chose to.
Speaker 1 (25:12):
That's questionable.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
But you did save a
baby beholder.
Speaker 7 (25:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (25:21):
Okay, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (25:23):
And Nori did save the
Bards who were then able to
help you.
Speaker 8 (25:31):
That's true.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
You helped Sonia find
her sister.
It took you some time, but youdid, in the end, help Sonia find
her sister, okay.
Speaker 8 (25:46):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (25:49):
But the cult was able
to channel the dark ritual
several times.
Oh, so then give the cult anidentity.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
Right, they're doing
the bad stuff.
Okay, that's too much Uh.
Speaker 3 (26:05):
And this is where we
now find ourselves.
Roll for initiative.
Can we say that I?
Speaker 1 (26:10):
have like ran behind
a corner and dropped my.
I look like me again.
Speaker 3 (26:15):
Yeah, you can look
like you again.
Cool, cool, cool.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
I don't want to do
this battle.
Speaker 3 (26:20):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
Let's go ahead and
place our minis here.
Speaker 3 (26:23):
You can place them
between here and you can place
them between here.
Oh yeah, I forgot.
You wrote l'edoux on myinitiative track.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
Oh no, Come on.
Speaker 8 (26:37):
Oh, that's a magic.
Oh, that was a photo shoot,yeah it's a.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
Now I have to clean
it.
No, no, no, okay, so what?
I gave you a little extra thingto occupy your mind.
I was just going to help you soyou don't have to think about
DMing all the time, so you canthink about other stuff.
Yeah, you're, thank you.
Maybe you want to give me.
Speaker 1 (27:03):
That was an attempt
to give you a l'edoux.
She didn't have any in her hand.
She wanted to remind you ofsweet me If you give me a
l'edoux.
Speaker 3 (27:09):
I'll take it off.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
I brought a l'edoux
to your house.
Fine, you're right, you didbring me a l'edoux.
You're going to metagame me.
I'm going to come at you.
Speaker 7 (27:19):
I'm a.
Speaker 3 (27:21):
DM.
I'm allowed to metagame.
Yeah, okay.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
I mean yes, please,
yes please.
Y'all are so funny.
Speaker 3 (27:30):
Okay okay okay.
Initiative oh right right right, you know what I can use the
non-dry race marker for this why?
Wow, because this is the lastbattle.
Speaker 5 (27:45):
But then Should we
take a quick long rest?
Speaker 1 (27:50):
Yeah, just a quickie.
Speaker 4 (27:51):
Just a quick one,
just a quick one.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
Just a little bit
more, Just like we, just like
stop time.
Be free to have a littleshelter.
Speaker 7 (27:57):
Oh yeah, Priya.
Speaker 1 (27:59):
Priya now would be a
great time, darling, Are you
here?
Yes, All right.
Right, I tell Jo to get out,get about 10 feet away from me
At hmm, 1, 2, 3, 4, does it fit?
Yeah, 10 feet away from any ofus and to poof.
And then he goes into fullflames.
And then I cast.
(28:20):
I'm looking at him, but I'mcasting it over here.
I'm going to wave my arms likethis and out of my hand, orange
smoke comes out.
Speaker 8 (28:31):
Oh hello.
Speaker 1 (28:32):
And I summon a Bengal
tiger.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
Hmm.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
Summon Beast.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
This is just pretend.
This is a tiger.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
Rawr, he's a very big
tiger.
I love him.
He's excellent, okay.
Speaker 3 (28:43):
Now I do have one
question.
I love Mander lizards.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
I do have one
question about this, because
there's a bunch of things thatit says that this character,
this thing can do.
And I can't tell if it's eitheror or, if it's all I got you?
Speaker 3 (28:55):
What level did you
cast it at?
Speaker 1 (28:56):
I will cast it at
second level.
Speaker 3 (28:59):
So the Beast you
summon has multi attack.
It makes a number of attacksequal to half the spells level
rounded down.
So it'll attack once and thenit'll be your spell attack
modifier to hit, which is a plusseven, and then it's the damage
will be if you hit 1d8 plusfour plus the spells level.
So in your case 1d8 plus sixAttacks once but.
Speaker 8 (29:21):
But he's not golly so
we'll talk about it for the
rest of the time.
Yes, exactly.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
It makes you realize
why he's doing it.
Speaker 3 (29:28):
And it shares your
initiative count and takes its
turn immediately after yoursRoast.
Speaker 1 (29:32):
Fantastic.
And then it also says here flyby Pact Tactics.
Water breathing Are all ofthose options?
I mean, are all of thoseavailable?
Because there doesn't seem tobe anything that says it not.
Speaker 3 (29:46):
You choose the
environment when you summon it.
I assume because you chose atiger or you chose land.
Speaker 1 (29:50):
Well.
Speaker 3 (29:52):
Pact.
Speaker 1 (29:52):
Tactics, then yeah
but Pact Tactics was kind of
what I was going for.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
Yes, so you would
have that as a land creature.
How deep is that lake?
Speaker 1 (29:59):
Does Deweyda?
Who's floating in the middle?
Do you want to find out?
Is he floating or is hestanding?
He's floating, yeah, All right.
All right.
I secretly want to wreck on andnot do this.
I know it's super cool to do aBengal tiger, but you know.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
I mean, if you do a
monitor lizard, that works for
that works for the many we have.
Speaker 8 (30:19):
And we get maybe a
little pedal, maybe we get like
a sponsor.
Speaker 1 (30:23):
Jasmine's favorite
animal.
Speaker 3 (30:26):
Crocodile Are you
really, omar being shady, he's
kidding, he's kidding.
Speaker 8 (30:31):
If we do that, that
scale is going to be tilted.
I need meta help.
Speaker 1 (30:36):
Who wants a Bengal
tiger?
Who wants a crocodile?
Speaker 5 (30:41):
I thought it was the
lake.
It would be somethingamphibious.
Speaker 8 (30:45):
I say Bengal tiger,
whatever side you're on, go with
the opposite.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
I shouldn't vote.
Speaker 6 (30:51):
I'm ambiguous.
Speaker 8 (30:54):
I like it.
Speaker 3 (30:56):
I just trust you for
what's on the line.
I like it.
I like it.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
Okay, yeah, I am
going to take, I'm going to
change it, I'm going to make ita crocodile.
It starts out to come out as aBengal tiger, but then I realize
, oh, that man's in the water.
And I spin my hands this wayand now we have a giant
crocodile so cute.
So it's a giant crocodile Cute, and okay, that's that, that
bonus.
And then I just want to takecover somewhere.
Speaker 3 (31:20):
Okay, where would you
like to take?
Speaker 1 (31:21):
cover, can I Maybe
behind that little table that
will give you half cover, behindthat little hut?
Do you have the movement to getthere?
I have 30 feet Five 10, 15, 20,25, 30.
Speaker 3 (31:35):
You are now protected
by half cover, Half cover.
Speaker 1 (31:37):
It's not great.
Okay, then I'm going to takethe crocodile stun.
I would like for the crocodileto head over to Deuter in the
lake 10, 15, 20, 25, 30.
Great.
And then my boy short two.
I'm going to have him hop up.
I just want to get himsomewhere near me, but where he
(32:00):
can fling, you can say five, 10,and he has flight.
That's right, he has flight, okay, okay, and then I want him
to.
Speaker 3 (32:13):
And how far is anyone
who has, oh five 10, 15, 20, 25
, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70.
Speaker 1 (32:24):
Yeah, he doesn't have
that range.
Oh, he has 60 feet, you're 70.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, that'sit.
That's where we are.
Speaker 6 (32:32):
All right.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
That's 70.
This is 65, 70.
So 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 100.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
Oh, beautiful,
beautiful, damn.
It is within 120 feet, isn't it?
Speaker 3 (32:47):
You see, rakan point
with one finger, one long,
beautifully manicured nail,towards you.
Oh no, I, and he creates awhirlwind.
Make all three of you, make aDC.
(33:09):
I'm not going to tell you DCs,make a strength, saving throw.
Or be restrained.
Speaker 1 (33:15):
Three of us.
Speaker 3 (33:16):
Yeah, no, no, no.
The three in this circle here.
I can't see who's.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
Oh, so wait, LaDue.
Speaker 3 (33:22):
Merca Ash, ladue
Merca Ash.
Actually, it's only a five footradius, so it'll just be Merca
and Ash.
Speaker 2 (33:27):
I love that.
Speaker 3 (33:28):
You're 15 feet.
Speaker 2 (33:29):
I love that for you,
ladue, I love that for you, so
you actually won't be hit.
Speaker 5 (33:33):
I love that for you.
Speaker 3 (33:35):
The air around you
begins to get hot.
In fact, you would probably seethe tip of its nail flick with
fire, and then the air starts toswirl.
Speaker 8 (33:48):
Nine, nine, oh, okay.
And it says dex Strength, ohstrength, oh Okay, that's going
to be 13.
Speaker 3 (33:57):
You are both
restrained.
This means your speed becomeszero.
You can't benefit from anybonus to your speed.
Attack rolls against you haveadvantage and you have
disadvantage when rolling.
You also have disadvantage ondex saves.
You can use your action orsomeone else can use their
action to try to free you, butit will be.
(34:19):
You'll have to make that samestrength save.
Speaker 7 (34:22):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 3 (34:24):
So the rest of you
see a fiery cyclone kick up and
you hear howling of wind pastyour ears.
As the air gets super heated.
And as it does, and this windwhips around you, you find
yourself unable to move.
As the air gets hot, you takefour fire damage each.
(34:51):
Oh, wow Then, ah, we see.
Speaker 7 (35:01):
What is that Coming?
Speaker 3 (35:02):
down from the
mountains.
Help has arrived.
Speaker 2 (35:06):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
Okay, you guys, I'm a
little nervous about that first
half, you know, and I'm notangry, I'm just a little
disappointed, okay.
So I'm gonna need you to stepit up, I'm gonna need you to
bring your A game, as it were.
You know who else is bringingtheir A game, the Get Brown.
During this intermission.
They're here to tell you alittle bit more about Thaisi
culture and figure out whatexactly is a Bunty.
Speaker 4 (35:41):
anyway, Bunty, bunty,
pass the ball.
Bunty, I'm open, bunty.
You're probably wondering rightnow what's a Bunty?
It's a person, an Indian person.
You see, indian people like togive their children beautiful
names, like Lakshmi, and thengive them nonsensical nicknames
(36:03):
like Bunty.
My mother calls me Bhoji.
That's not a name, that's justa sound.
Here are some more weirdnicknames that Indian people
give their kids Kunu, tipu.
Speaker 8 (36:15):
Laddu.
Speaker 2 (36:17):
Tinker Fatty Milky.
Speaker 5 (36:21):
Tilky Silky.
Speaker 8 (36:23):
Shetty.
Speaker 5 (36:28):
Swishpink.
Speaker 4 (36:30):
Now you're ready to
get brown Koti Bicchi.
Speaker 3 (36:35):
Jonathan, this
intermission, we're going to be
taking a snack and our snackshave been generously provided by
Corona.
Speaker 2 (36:42):
Foods Okay, and not
to bring Laddu on to you today
but I based her character off ofthis exact type of model of
business where when I've been toJersey, if we're like getting
like other restaurants orsomething, it's not from a store
, it's from some lady in herhouse that makes it behind a
curtain for some reason orwhatever, and then her husband
wordlessly sells it to me orwhatever, and it's like she'll
(37:04):
eventually franchise or likesell it to grocery stores and
stuff.
But it's all just like twopeople making stuff in their
house.
So I think it's awesome.
Speaker 5 (37:11):
So now where they're
at seven full-time employees,
they operate in a 6,000 footsquare warehouse.
They've never advertised before.
This is kind of like theirfirst foray to advertise a while
it took a chance on us.
Speaker 3 (37:23):
There's like sweet,
there's salt, and, yeah, the
orange is so good.
Yeah, that's what I mean.
Speaker 5 (37:26):
My favorite is the
pineapple, so I just want to say
to you all yousecond-generation daisies out
there, when you have thatcraving to just grab like a
flaming hot Cheetos bag, nah,nah.
Speaker 1 (37:37):
First of all, shame
on you.
Come back home, come back home.
Speaker 5 (37:41):
Grab some Corona
Foods.
It's got the kick.
It's got mom's touch in therethis is the stuff that you
should be munching on instead.
I really like the jalapeno ones.
Speaker 8 (37:50):
Yeah, this is the new
go-to.
Like TTRPG food, like this isthe snack.
Speaker 3 (37:55):
We're going to keep
snacking on this intramission
because we cannot put thesesnacks down.
We'll see you soon on DaisyQuest.
Speaker 5 (38:02):
So if you want to
munch along with us, go over to
doranafoodscom and use codedaisyquest to get 10% off your
first order.
Okay, it is game time, omar.
You have 30 seconds to roll aNat 20 with this glorious D20
from our sponsor, die Hard Diceyeah, while I sell the belief
out of them to our viewers.
Speaker 8 (38:21):
So I mean, choose
your choice.
I'm going to go with thisbeautiful, shiny one, okay.
Speaker 5 (38:26):
Here we go and
remember, if you don't do it, I
pull from the squid of squalor.
Speaker 8 (38:29):
Okay, but if I crit
within these 30 seconds, then
you have to.
Speaker 5 (38:32):
Whatever, that's not
going to happen.
So here we go, ready, yeah, 30seconds in clock Go.
Okay.
All the dice from Die Hard Diceare designed and handcrafted in
our in-house by theiralchemists and artificers before
they are sent off to production.
They take pride in the quality, creativity, intent and care
behind all of their designs.

(38:52):
You think everyone does this.
They do not.
Okay, money right there.
Speaker 7 (38:56):
You guys are no, not

Speaker 5 (38:57):
Right there, I have
so much more to read.
These guys have to go above andbeyond.
Speaker 8 (39:02):
Why.
Speaker 5 (39:02):
Because Die Hard Dice
has to do, I have to do.
As comprised of gamers, theirdice are made by TTRPG players,
four TTRPG players.
They make these absolute.
Stop it.
You're tripping on that.
Yeah, I'm going to go.
You take over.
You start when they put up thatsize Go.
Speaker 7 (39:18):
They make these
absolutely gorgeous metal ones,
but they also make gorgeouspolymer sets.
Speaker 8 (39:22):
I mean look at these,
at least two's in a row.
Look at these, look at these.
All right, sandeep, how'd youdo?
Oh my God, you lost Ro, you gotit in the end.
What does this mean?
We both have to do one.
I don't know.
We both have to do the one wepull.

Okay, all right, so we're doingone between the two of us.
(39:43):

A massive arachnid figure.
Wow, thank you.
Speaker 3 (40:36):
All types of bags,
components, tinctures on its
back and, as a result of that, you're going to be able to see
the whole thing All types ofbags, components, tinctures on
its back and, as you say, helphas arrived.
Oh my gosh, thank you.
It tosses you, flinging fromits bag a component.
(41:01):
Regards of the arachnid court.
Roll a D4.
Speaker 8 (41:09):
Yeah, absolutely.
Speaker 3 (41:13):
That's four, you
regain up to a fourth level
spell slot.
I don't think you have a fourthlevel, but that means a third
level spell slot.
Speaker 1 (41:20):
Oh hello, that's
awesome, that's dope, that's
dope.
Speaker 3 (41:25):
Yeah, ma'am, this is

Speaker 2 (41:32):
We can't see anything
.
There's a building in the way Ican't.
There is a, there is an entirebuilding I saw, and what, and
what do you call?
Speaker 1 (41:44):
judgment.
I call being impressed.
And what do you?
Speaker 2 (41:46):
call judgment.
I call speaking.
Speaker 7 (41:50):

I like to ask.
Speaker 1 (42:01):
Thank you, doctor
Spiderman, doctor, spiderman,
spiderman, eight degrees.
Speaker 2 (42:07):
And then Spiderman,
spiderman, spiderman, spiderman,
spiderman.
Speaker 1 (42:11):
Spiderman, doctor
Spiderman that's very cute.
Speaker 5 (42:13):
You just want the
internet.
Chaos has increased since.
Speaker 2 (42:16):
Spiderman.
Speaker 8 (42:17):
Spiderman.
Speaker 1 (42:17):
Spiderman.
Speaker 2 (42:18):
Spiderman is late.
Spiderman, spiderman, spiderman, spiderman, oh yes.
Speaker 3 (42:24):
All right, she was
the opposite.
The channeler suspended abovethe middle of the Silsalon lake
channels its energy once again, this time towards Silsalon.
Uh-uh, okay, sheesh, uh-uh, howare you doing?
Speaker 7 (42:40):
How many was that?
I don't know, it was four.
It was four, yeah.
Speaker 2 (42:50):
I don't like it,
uh-oh.
Speaker 3 (43:03):
You see Silsalon no
longer making any noise Like.
Too weak to even cry out inpain.
Grow weaker.
Speaker 7 (43:18):
No.
Speaker 3 (43:22):
Or me, maybe
Technically actually One comes
off of there, yeah, and then onegoes from there to there.
Perfect, Sorry, there's a lotof mechanics in this fight.
It is Rakan's turn again.
He gets to move twice in theinitiative track.
Speaker 6 (43:39):
One, two, three, four
, five, six, seven, eight
Opportunity attack.
Speaker 2 (43:45):
I'm crocodile.
Opportunity attack.
Yes, you can't get away withanything.
Speaker 5 (43:51):
Opportunity.
Speaker 1 (43:55):
So the croc has
opportunity, attack yes so
beautiful.
Speaker 8 (43:58):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (44:01):
Oh, he's plus seven
to hit.
That's what 20.
Speaker 3 (44:05):
Wow, double your
damage, die.
The croc tries to take anattack or makes an attack at
Rakan as he moves past, disregarding such a lowly life
form.
Speaker 1 (44:17):
Oh, the judgment.
Yeah, that's bad judgment.
He does not nice, he does thecroc.
Speaker 3 (44:24):
Puts his hands
together and then points them
out at all of you.
That didn't go.
That's a 15 foot cone.
You're safe.
The three of you make a duck.
Save Me too, yes.
Speaker 5 (44:39):
And I don't want to
be this guy, but you have to
make disadvantage right.
Speaker 2 (44:43):
Yes, oh, oh, we do.
Speaker 5 (44:46):
You do, we do, we're
in a whirlwind 19.
Speaker 2 (44:48):
Well, it's okay, I'm
already pretty disadvantaged.
Yeah, you have disadvantage onduck, saves Two, six, fourteen,
fourteen.
I'll say I was distracted byhow beautiful spider mommy is,
it's Dr Spider Mac, the spidermommy.
Speaker 8 (45:07):
The 14 makes it oh
okay, and the two of us.
Speaker 2 (45:12):
The two and the six
11 points of fire.
Speaker 1 (45:18):
Damage at both of you
, oh my God, 19,.
So half of the, that's one none.
You're not even in the cone ofattack 11?
.
Speaker 3 (45:27):
No, I said the three.
Speaker 4 (45:30):
No, no, no.
Speaker 3 (45:32):
Flame erupts from his
fingers and buffets the two of
you.
Ash is able to get out of theway despite being swept up in
this whirlwind, and the two ofyou are scorched with flame.
Namir, you're up.
Speaker 6 (45:50):
So Ash, Ash is here
and Merka Mm-hmm, You're both
kind of right in front of me.
Speaker 3 (46:02):
Yes, you have LOS on
both of them.
Great, they're within 15 feetof you.
Speaker 6 (46:08):
How messed up are
they looking to me?
Speaker 5 (46:11):
I'm looking slightly
ragged, but you know.
Speaker 6 (46:14):
You're holding on by
a thread.
Speaker 8 (46:16):
I'm about to die.
Speaker 6 (46:17):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (46:21):
So, matter of fact,
I'm about to die.
Speaker 6 (46:24):
My tail's not wagging
, but yeah, pulling out my
longbow, which is now shimmeringwith this sort of ephemeral
energy, and I draw an arrow andthe insect swarm that has been
flying and crawling, flyingaround me, crawling all over me,
(46:44):
some of them land on the arrowand they sink into it and it
starts to glow.
And I look at Rukan and I sayto him I've been waiting for you
.
And then I turn to look at you.
Speaker 1 (47:05):
No.
Speaker 6 (47:06):
And I fire an arrow.
Speaker 7 (47:08):
No Namir.
Speaker 6 (47:10):
Healing arrow right
and it pierces you through the
chest, but it doesn't hurt.
Speaker 8 (47:20):
And I said that's
what death feels like.
Maybe you.
Speaker 2 (47:22):
Maybe you?
Maybe you is fake.
It's like healing.
It's got a healing arrow,healing arrow.
Speaker 1 (47:27):
Healing arrow.
It's like a surprise.
Speaker 8 (47:29):
It's that much Got
you psych.
Speaker 6 (47:34):
The arrow melts into
you and it bursts.
You start to feel like thingsare crawling all over you.
Actually, these insects startto crawl all over you and then
it becomes gentle and this waveof healing energy flows through
you as you regain seven hitpoints.
Speaker 8 (47:49):
Yes, okay, I didn't
doubt you for a second.
Speaker 6 (47:53):
Thank you, yeah, yeah
, yeah, no, I'm taking note, I'm
taking note.
Speaker 7 (47:56):
Oh okay, I'm taking
note, I'm taking note.
Speaker 2 (47:58):
I'm taking note.
I'm taking note.
I'm taking note.
I'm taking note.
I'm taking note.
I'm taking note.
Speaker 5 (48:05):
I'm taking note.
I'm taking note.
I'm taking note.
We're done, we made it.
There'll be time for that later.
I'm fine.
Speaker 3 (48:12):
Sorry, I'm just
excited.
That's my first attack.
That's your first attack.
You have one more.
Speaker 6 (48:17):
Second attack.
I then I'll train my eyes backonto Lord of Judgment and I say
Naurin sends her regards Ooh.
And I attack with another arrowgoing right through all the
holes.
But a bad arrow.
A 17 to hit Meats.
It beats it.
Speaker 1 (48:35):
Oh, I shouldn't have
it Okay, it's an open roll.
Speaker 6 (48:39):
This is Medigame
pizza.
Speaker 2 (48:41):
I'm just gonna now be
my threat, Just be like hey.
Speaker 6 (48:45):
And just for flavor,
I wanna use my bonus action and
conjunction with this.
As part of the swarm breaks offand joins the arrow yes, giving
it this like swarming energy,I'm going to.
And then some of the rest ofthe swarm breaks off and starts
to fly around me as I lift 10feet up in the air.
(49:06):
Oh, that's my bonus action.
I am going to do a number ofthings.
So this is my swarm attack die, yes, this is my weapon.
Yes, and I'm going to divinesmite this mofo.
Yes, let's go.
I'm going to use a second levelspell slot All right.
(49:27):
So there's one, two, three Okay,so this is all the damage.
That is that.
That that, yes.
Next round I'll do more.
Speaker 3 (49:41):
Maybe that is 21
points of damage 21 points of
damage, a decisive blow as yourarrow pierces it, your swarm
driving the arrow through andfused with Noren's light, you
(50:03):
strike a grievous blow to RakanQuestion yes.
Speaker 6 (50:10):
Now I can see the
mechanic behind you, mm-hmm.
Is there any sense that I havein terms of how Rakan is
weighing judgment?
Is that something I sense?
Speaker 3 (50:22):
Yes, you all are
vaguely aware that a scale
somewhere is beginning to tip,as you see that the closer
Silphalon gets to death, thestronger Rakan gets, and as you
strike this blow to Rakan, yousee Silphala's eyelids flutter
for just a moment.
(50:43):
This is it everybody.
Speaker 6 (50:46):
This is, this is the
fight.
That one, oh, he's still no no,that'll be my turn.
Speaker 4 (50:51):
That'll be my turn.
Speaker 3 (50:52):
I'm 10 feet up in the
air, though.
Speaker 5 (50:54):
Ash you're up.
Yes, so I'm currentlyrestrained right?
Speaker 3 (51:00):
Yes, you can use your
action to try to remove
yourself from the restraint.
Speaker 5 (51:04):
Okay, um, first, I
want to.
I see these gods before me andthey look more familiar than
ever before.
I remember.
I sort of flashed to a memorymany memories of my father at
home, at our home, mandir, praying to statues, morthies of
(51:32):
these very same gods, or some ofthem.
And I want to.
Are any of these my patrondeity or the deity that's
associated with my family?
It's nothing we've ever talkedabout explicitly, but that is
the thought that's going throughmy head.
Speaker 3 (51:48):
Give me a religion
check.
Speaker 5 (51:53):
Okay, Plus zero cool.
Speaker 7 (51:54):
I'm gonna bless with
some flowers first Aw.
Speaker 8 (51:57):
Aw.
Speaker 5 (51:59):
Very cool.
Gotta do some pooja yes 17.
Speaker 3 (52:06):
You recognize Sil
Silan's face and, as a healer,
your first instinct is to helpher.
You wonder, as you're ponderingher face and you're remembering
these statues that your father, like, paid so much respect to.
It dawns on you that she is inno state to give your family any
(52:27):
favor at this time and, as adoctor, your base instinct is to
do the thing you do best tohelp her.
Speaker 5 (52:35):
Okay, all right, with
my turn, I will.
I'm gonna bless my friends, myallies here, with some more of
my flower petals, so I can dothree of us that are closest to
(52:57):
me.
I will bless the three of youLando, ante, namir and Murka.
Speaker 3 (53:05):
Amazing All of you
get a D4 that you can add to
ability checks and, I believe,attacks.
Speaker 6 (53:11):
Yes, yes, that's
right, amazing Saving throws.
Speaker 5 (53:15):
And I have a test yes
, and saving throws, yeah, yeah
yeah.
Speaker 6 (53:18):
Bless is actually
really strong.
Speaker 3 (53:19):
Yeah, it's great
You're blessing falls on your
fellow party members.
Would you like to do anythingwith your bonus action?
Can I just?
Speaker 5 (53:30):
speak to the sort of
merchant arachnid there.
Speaker 3 (53:35):
Um, yeah, you could
speak briefly.
You could say maybe up to 10words, since we are in the
middle of combat.
Speaker 5 (53:40):
Yeah, yeah anything
you can offer, any any you know,
help I'll gladly take it.
Speaker 3 (53:49):
And you hear her
voice come back and say, trying
as she tries to with her manyarms, she pulls like a sari out
and throws it away.
And she pulls out bangles andthrows those away and she pulls
out like a pot and she's likesearching through her, searching
through her bags.
Speaker 5 (54:07):
All right that's my
turn Lando Ante.
Speaker 2 (54:10):
Oh, okay, that's it.
Speaker 1 (54:12):
Something like take a
bath off, Take a bath that was
very disaparting to your elders.
I feel like you know Very slow,Mm.
Speaker 2 (54:23):
Come on, lando Ante.
Okay, come on Ante.
So what are your HP at?
Speaker 8 (54:28):
I'm doing okay now I
suppose All things.
I'm at nine.
Speaker 2 (54:32):
I'm like, should I
help him with one action and
then strike with another, orshould I just go strike, go
strike.
Speaker 5 (54:37):
I'll be fine.
Do your Lando Ante thing.
Do your job.
Speaker 2 (54:41):
Okay, I go, you seem
good and I'm spiraling in fire
yeah yeah fine, everything'sfine.
Yes, I'm raging.
Speaker 3 (54:50):
Do I still?
Speaker 2 (54:50):
continue to rage from
previously.
Speaker 3 (54:52):
You're in the fire,
so you take one d4 at the top of
your turn For For an additionalfour-fired damage.
Oh yeah, yes continue.
Speaker 2 (55:01):
Am I still raging
from the previous thing, or does
that reset?
Speaker 6 (55:04):
It lasts a minute.
Speaker 2 (55:05):
Oh, I would like to
rage, yes, yes.
Speaker 1 (55:08):
That's a bonus.
She's pretty enraging yeah.
Speaker 2 (55:11):
I'm pretty enraged.
Not only is this godthreatening to hurt my family,
my newfound family, not onlydoes this god think he can do my
job, which is judging I'm justkidding this god took my sister
(55:32):
and brother-in-law into theFeywild.
So, with that rage in her heart, she am I 20 feet away.
Or yes, okay, so you can.
So I would like to use my hand,ox, Because you can do 5, 10,
15, 20.
Great, I would like to hit withmy hand.
Ox Roll to hit.
(55:52):
Okay, that is a 16.
A miss.
Speaker 1 (55:56):
Ah, okay, is that
plus?
All you want to play us?
Did you use your plus?
Bless, bless, bless, bless.
I used my plus, yes, d4.
Oh you did.
Speaker 5 (56:01):
Oh no, I didn't.
You're gonna get an extra d4.
Speaker 2 (56:02):
Okay, great.
Speaker 5 (56:03):
Which will be.
Speaker 2 (56:04):
So then that's a
dirty 20.
Yeah, that's a hit.
Yeah, okay, so then damage Welldone Ash.
Speaker 5 (56:11):
So yes, to bless, I
do 7 damage.
Speaker 3 (56:15):
And I'm raging right.
Speaker 2 (56:16):
So plus 2, so 9.
9 damage amazing.
And then I get a second hit.
You do, you have 2 attacks perattack action.
Okay, so that is a 24.
That is.
Speaker 8 (56:30):
No.
Speaker 2 (56:31):
And then that is 7
plus 2, 9.
Speaker 3 (56:35):
You strike twice with
your hand, ox, both of them
hitting at this individual.
He is going to use his reactionto hellish rebuke you.
Speaker 2 (56:45):
You cannot rebuke me.
Give me a deck save, oh come onOkay, you got this.
Speaker 6 (56:50):
Come on, Andy, stop
Blessings is a 2.
So that'll be a plus to d4.
Speaker 2 (56:54):
Okay, so, okay, so 18
.
Speaker 3 (57:01):
That meets it.
You take 10 points of firedamage.
Wow, that was gonna be reallybad.
As he says, you dare to strikeme.
Speaker 2 (57:12):
You hit an old woman.
Speaker 3 (57:14):
Ha ha ha ha ha.
Is it the end of your turn?
Speaker 2 (57:18):
I think that's all I
can do.
Speaker 3 (57:20):
Morka, it is your
turn.
Speaker 8 (57:22):
Yeah, I tap my suit
and I'm gonna infuse it and
that's gonna give me a plusthree to shrink checks and saves
.
So I do that little double tapand I would like to attempt to
step out of this fiery whirlwind.
Speaker 3 (57:38):
All right, roll a
strength save.
Okay, you are blessed and youhave your plus three.
Speaker 8 (57:50):
Okay, so that's going
to be a total of 14.
Speaker 3 (57:57):
Just shy.
You try to step out of thiswhirlwind and as you do it,
almost as though grabbing aethereal hand made a fiery wind,
pulls you back.
Wow, at the top of your turn, you also take three fire damage.
Speaker 8 (58:12):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (58:14):
Is that your turn?
Speaker 8 (58:15):
That's it.
Speaker 3 (58:16):
At the end of your
turn, Rakan uses his legendary
action.
No.
Speaker 1 (58:21):
I knew it.
Speaker 3 (58:23):
He looks at you and
says, invoking your guilt what I
, what guilt?
But you knew.
You knew that they were lockedaway and you chose to forget.
(58:47):
You begged to forget.
You knew the whole time and youlied to her.
You knew in your heart you arenothing but a thief.
And you tell yourself all kindsof lies, don't you?
(59:08):
But the world is moving forwardand it's leaving you behind.
Make a charisma saving, throwOkay and you are blessed, thank
you so much.
Speaker 2 (59:23):
Oh my God, that is a
23.
Speaker 3 (59:28):
For a moment, a
almost hidden, repressed memory
in your mind comes up, but youare able to focus on the task at
hand.
Even if he's telling the truth,he's using the truth against
you and he must be twisting itin some way, you are not
(59:50):
affected by the guilt condition.
Speaker 2 (59:54):
Ain't that the truth?
Medically, I am not affected byit.
Well, well.
Speaker 3 (01:00:06):
Sitara, it is the top
of a new round.
What do you do?
Speaker 5 (01:00:15):
She gets on her toes.
Speaker 1 (01:00:16):
Okay, I, Sitara, is
seeing so many conflicting
things.
She sees her auntie she's heardthis being tell her auntie that
she knew about my parents, which blows her mind, and she's
confused because Namir seemedlike he was good and then he was
(01:00:37):
evil.
But then she's relieved becausehe's evil I mean he's good and
she's as confused as I am andshe remembers that he said Nurin
sends her regards and she takesthe card out, she puts it
between her hands and she saysif I've ever needed you, now is
the time.
Speaker 3 (01:00:58):
How many stamps do
you have left?
Two Mmm, it's huge.
You feel a warmth envelop youand you hear Nurin's voice in
(01:01:19):
your mind for just a moment.
She says to you amidst thecacophony of battle oh my sweet,
I wish that I could whisk youaway, but I cannot pull you from
(01:01:40):
his hand.
Speaker 1 (01:01:41):
I don't want you to
pull me from his hand.
I want you to tell me how tobreak his.
Speaker 3 (01:01:50):
She says find
strength in your companions and
in the friends you've made alongthe way and know that my
blessing goes with you.
Speaker 1 (01:02:10):
I feel like I want to
ask one more question, but it's
not as pretty as what you justsaid, so I can't do it.
Okay, I'll just take that.
I come back and I run.
I do it.
(01:02:33):
I run between him and Aunty.
Ooh okay, and I swipe at himwith my magic ukri, alright roll
to hit.
Speaker 2 (01:02:48):
Aunty is horrified.
Okay, no, I don't want thatRight.
Speaker 1 (01:02:58):
Plus 18.
Speaker 4 (01:03:00):
18 hits for all
damage.
Speaker 3 (01:03:03):
Four.
Speaker 1 (01:03:06):
As my bonus action, I
would like to reach behind me
with my other hand and cast whatis it Cast Healing Spirit on?
Are you two next to each otherby any chance?
Are you close, remotely closeto each other?
(01:03:27):
Passion?
Speaker 8 (01:03:27):
me, yeah, right next
to each other.
Great so.
Speaker 1 (01:03:30):
I'm going to put the
Healing Spirit, I'm going to
invoke a Healing Spirit and youwill actually see a white,
iridescent form that looksexactly like me Come and stand
around you and hold you and itwill imbue you with One d6.
(01:03:52):
Okay, until this spell ends.
Whenever you are a creature youcan see it moves into the
Spirit's face for the first timeon a turn or starts its turn
there, you can cause the Spiritto restore one d6 hit points to
that creature, no actionrequired.
Speaker 7 (01:04:02):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 3 (01:04:03):
So at the top of your
turn you'll gain one d6.
Speaker 1 (01:04:06):
And I tell Aunty go
to Merca, I'll take this.
Speaker 2 (01:04:12):
No, aray very
dangerous.
Speaker 1 (01:04:17):
I'm not going to say
anything, I'm just going to give
you a non-deluc.
Oh my God, that's what it feelslike.
Speaker 3 (01:04:25):
You're reaching back.
Cast your Healing Spirit onMerca.
Yeah, Go ahead and move anattack with your Summoned Beast
and then with your WildfireSpirit.
Speaker 1 (01:04:34):
Excellent.
So my Summoned Beast is goingto come and stand exactly
opposite me, behind Rakan, andbecause he has Pact Tactics, he
is going to Roll with Advantage, roll with Advantage.
Speaker 2 (01:04:44):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (01:04:46):
That's cute.
Wait please, my God.
Oh, natural 20,.
So there you go.
Speaker 6 (01:04:51):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (01:04:52):
Again and.
Speaker 6 (01:04:54):
Yeah, didn't it crit
already once yes, not bad die.
But your crocodile, oh thecrocodile crit yeah, yeah, okay,
okay.
Speaker 1 (01:05:03):
So it's plus seven.
That doesn't mean anything.
And it's 1d8 plus four plus twotimes two.
Eight, 16 plus four plus two is22 points of damage.
Okay, jeez.
And then my beloved Squirrel isgoing oh, can he get to Auntie?
(01:05:26):
How are we going to?
What's the speed?
Again, he can fly, so his speedis 30.
How far away is that die fromAuntie?
Speaker 8 (01:05:36):
You can do it in five
, I think.
Speaker 1 (01:05:38):
I'm going to have him
fly to Auntie and wrap his
little tail.
Speaker 3 (01:05:43):
Are you okay with
this?
I'm just I'm asking Becausethat's me a willing creature,
Right.
So I'm asking you story-wisewhat do you?
Speaker 2 (01:05:55):
Auntie hates that you
stepped in between them because
she's like what can a child do,what can my child do?
But in her whole journey I sortof learned a little bit, just a
little bit no one get tooexcited A little bit Unpossibly,
how to slightly delegate.
(01:06:16):
So she is okay.
Speaker 1 (01:06:21):
Okay, because you
need ranged weapon attack, yeah,
hmm, so he's going to fly over,he's going to wrap his tail
around her arms and teleport heraway.
I'll take the damage, but sowill Rakhur Khan, and let's
teleport her 15 feet behind him, okay, and then he?
Speaker 3 (01:06:48):
does?
I think it's a deck save.
Now I got a 15.
It needs a pizza, okay.
Speaker 1 (01:06:56):
Oh, I have to do my
deck save Mm-hmm.
No, I don't make it so.
1d6 plus 3.
Okay, 9.
That's okay, that's fine, it'sfine, everything's fine.
Speaker 3 (01:07:14):
It is Rakhur Khan's
turn.
He's going to cast Thunder Wave.
The FaZe, Spider, Auntie, theCrocodile and you all make a
Khan save Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:07:30):
And we still have
Blessing.
Speaker 6 (01:07:32):
You all do yes.
Speaker 1 (01:07:33):
I do not.
Speaker 6 (01:07:34):
Oh, you're not.
Speaker 1 (01:07:34):
Yeah, yeah, yeah,
that is Khan Khan, Khan, Khan 15
.
15 as well 18 for the Croc.
Speaker 3 (01:07:46):
All right, the two of
you are pushed.
The Croc is not.
You take 12 Thunder Damage.
12 Thunder Damage, 6 ThunderDamage to the Croc.
Speaker 1 (01:07:57):
Where am I pushed
away to, though, back?
Speaker 3 (01:08:00):
10 feet right, Is
that a nat one for the Spider,
who is also pushed back andtakes 24 damage?
Speaker 8 (01:08:10):
No.
Speaker 3 (01:08:12):
Spider, mommy, you
see the Spider real ssssss back
as this grievous blow chorusesup her body, her legs twitching
a little bit helplessly.
He doesn't look good.
Speaker 1 (01:08:27):
I suppose um uh uh
Chotu is probably with her
because he teleported with her.
He's not in range.
Speaker 4 (01:08:34):
Oh yeah yeah,
actually, so yes, but he's a
flying creature so does he stillhave to make a Dexie?
Speaker 1 (01:08:39):
Yes, 16.
Speaker 3 (01:08:42):
Is it 16?
16.
Okay, so Chotu is not pushed.
Chotu is there and takes thesame damage you took.
Speaker 1 (01:08:50):
Oh, I think Chotu
might be down.
Uh-uh, no, they're crocodile.
Speaker 8 (01:08:53):
Oh no no, no, no, no,
he's not.
Speaker 1 (01:08:54):
He's not down.
Speaker 3 (01:08:55):
Right, the
crocodile's safe.
Yeah, the crocodile's safe.
Yeah, the crocodile made thesame.
Yeah, yeah, so Chotu did aswell.
Yeah, it is then the vendor'sturn.
The vendor is going to.
I think the vendor is going touse its action to try to help
you out of the whirlwind.
Speaker 2 (01:09:16):
Oh, killer, spider,
mama, spider mommy Ramanandri,
spider mommy, Bless you Mommy, not mama sorry, all right, I'll
ask her Dirty 20, she pulls youout.
Speaker 3 (01:09:31):
Wow, wow, I want you
to get pulled out, okay.
Speaker 8 (01:09:33):
Into four of her arms
.
You see her bangles clinking.
What is this?
Speaker 3 (01:09:38):
As she grabs you and
pulls you out of the whirlwind.
Oh, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'msorry, I'm sorry.
She pulls you out and pulls youout of the whirlwind.
Nice, it is then thischaracter's turn floating
forward.
They channel their energytowards Cilsilon once more.
Oh God, there's so much.
Speaker 7 (01:10:02):
JB 30.
Speaker 8 (01:10:11):
Oh my God, no Whoa.
Speaker 3 (01:10:20):
You see the life
begin to drain from her once
again and her eyes shut oncemore.
Then, seeing that you're in aperfect cone, rakan once again
puts his fingers together andcasts burning hands at you.
(01:10:41):
And the spider vendor?
No, it's not you.
You mean me.
Yes, make a deck save.
Speaker 5 (01:10:47):
Come on, punch, let's
go.
Baby that 20.
Speaker 3 (01:10:54):
Yeah, you take no
damage.
But you see the spider vendor.
You're still wrapped in herarms as she shields you from the
flames with her body.
No, she succumbs to the burns.
(01:11:19):
You look down and see in one ofher hands as the flames buffet
her and she falls to the ground, knocked, unconscious.
One last potion for you, ash.
Okay, healing potion.
No, you'll know what it is.
On your turn if you wish to useit, namir.
Speaker 6 (01:11:45):
All right, rakan is
ahead of me and Sol Solan is
being I don't know something.
Is this other creature?
Has had their attention on SolSolan the whole time?
Yes, and I see that she isbeing drained more and more.
(01:12:07):
Crap man, a little bit, okay.
So I'm floating 10 feet up.
A quick scan around what arethe other people in the vicinity
doing?
Are they fleeing?
Fleeing?
Speaker 3 (01:12:24):
for their lives.
Speaker 6 (01:12:30):
Knowing, even though
they're fleeing, enough of them
will be looking back and will bewitness to what happens here,
and that means something.
I'm going to, okay, I'm goingto step so that I'm within 30
feet of Ash of Merca and 15, 20.
Speaker 3 (01:13:00):
Like here.
Speaker 6 (01:13:02):
Yes, so I want to.
They need to be within 30 feetof me Of you.
Speaker 3 (01:13:06):
Okay yeah, they are.
Speaker 6 (01:13:08):
Merca, ladoo and Ash,
and I draw an arrow and instead
I shoot it straight up at thesky and it bursts and these sort
of ephemeral moths start tofloat and fly around you,
knowing full well that therewill be witnesses to this and
(01:13:32):
that you all must be the ones toput forth the greatest efforts,
and that that's what's going tomatter.
More is if they see you right, this wrong, and I'm casting aid.
So all three of you gain anextra five hit points to your
maximum and to your current hitpoints.
Whoa.
Speaker 3 (01:13:53):
My yes these moths
gently fall on you, bringing you
comfort and sucker in thisdifficult time.
That's your movement and, Ibelieve, your action.
Speaker 6 (01:14:07):
You still have your
bonus action Um do, and I, Ah-ha
, ooh, ooh, ooh, I will drawanother arrow, knock it.
And uh, oh, uh, I'm.
You know what I'm going to do?
I'm going to stand in between.
(01:14:27):
I want to be a meat shield, adecaying meat shield.
Um, for for Merca to stand infront of him.
Speaker 3 (01:14:36):
Okay, you're actually
a place there now, great.
Speaker 6 (01:14:39):
So I'll stand exactly
there and I uh stare daggers
into Recon's eyes, the Lord ofJudgment taking down the mortals
of this realm, instead offacing an equal how?
Speaker 3 (01:15:05):
like you, important
question Is Butchuff flammable?
Speaker 8 (01:15:10):

Speaker 5 (01:15:32):

wished to inflict those woundsupon you.
Speaker 1 (01:15:38):
I keep asking for
some place where I feel like I
am real, and all I get is moreconfusion.
Speaker 6 (01:15:46):
Wow, that's a lot of
ones You're looking very worse
for her right.
Speaker 5 (01:15:49):
