Skip across the borders with us as Sitara (Anjali Bhimani) welcome Ash (Sandeep Parikh), a newcomer at Priya's philanthropic Kitty party, and delve into the noble cause it serves.   Laddoo Auntie (Rekha Shankar) has brought the sweets for the get-together but is shocked to see Priya has invited Gharana Foods to cater the event.  The high-spirited chatter only gets lighter as we introduce Namir, our half-elven explorer on a quest to reconnect with his roots, and Priya, our nature aficionado, guiding us through the enigmatic trails of Rak Tibba. Uncover the mysteries of hierarchy, culture, and language as we encounter Murkha (Omar Najam) and his adorable red panda construct, Baccha.

Well, welcome to the this request recap MUSIC.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Thank you for joining me on that.
That's beautiful.
That's the listening andrespondent.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Our adventures, oh gosh, where do I begin?
They came to the platform inthe coastal region of Vejar, the
continent we are on calledCerepaní, and here in the
capital, chand Bay, we havesomeone from your characters,
part of the world which I won'tspoil yet that came to the

(01:10):
platform and got their luggagestolen pretty much right away,
as this happens when one engagesin this request.
There was some drama, there wassome always sunny and
Philadelphia-esque energy.
Eventually they succeeded inrecovering their luggage.
I guess it didn't feel like itwas a success.

(01:32):
It feels like they kind ofblundered their way forward.
But they need help.
The situation is escalatingbeyond their control and I think
that's why I brought you, mywonderful friend, to help out
our desi-questers.
We've got an auntie who'sreally more of a grandma in some
ways.
To the party, she makes sweetsfor everyone.
We've got an actress who has amurky past Between you and me.

(01:56):
She's married to a gangster.
Oh, yes, oh, and she thoughther parents were dead, but
they're actually just missing.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Does she know that yet?

Speaker 1 (02:06):
She knows now.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Oh yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Oh, and get this.
She found out her aunt lied toher about it.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
This is so juicy.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Yeah, yeah, You're coming into a very dramatic
Indian situation like familysituation.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
They haven't cried yet.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
They haven't cried yet, but they've come very close
and they've almost fought.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
You want me to make them cry.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Yeah, well, yeah, Get those tears out you know, those
drama lessons to use.
And then we've got our strangehalf-elf from Bretzewald.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Who is here because of a dream he's having about a
mountain.
Okay, interesting I don't knowwhat that's all about.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Interesting.
So what you basically describedto me is easy prey in a lot of
like various ways, which I will.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Well, I suppose you could kill them all.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
I could.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Audience.
He is higher level.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
I now.
I know that's going to be fun.
No, no, I won't explain that, but this is really awesome.
I can't wait to meet them andthen see how what I've heard
about them matches up with whatthey actually end up doing.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Well, merck has already off to a running start.
He has, like, this littlerobotic child it's kind of a
Gepetto and Pinocchio situation, wow and they're hosting a
kiddie party.
A kiddie party that's kind ofbeing organized by a very good
friend of yours.
Okay, I think you know who sheis.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
I know who she is.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
And so, oh, you're here to help them along the path
, because between you and me,some serious stuff is about to
go down.
In Lockpin, you see, a harvestfestival that's supposed to
happen.
It hasn't.
And until this festival happens, until the deities descend from
the mountains and kind of kickthis festival off, they can't

(03:56):
harvest the crop, so it'srotting on the vine.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Oh, wow, okay, that's a problem.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
But that's why I brought in an expert.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Well, let's figure out what's going on with the
harvest and the deities.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Yeah Well, I'm so excited to get you out there at
the Gohinoa table, but ourplayers actually don't know that
you're here.
That's exciting, so I'm goingto go out and troll them.
Okay, and I have this cool ideawhere I announce you and you
just come out and blow theirminds.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Okay, I will.
I will make their heads explode.
All right, figuratively.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
On three, one, two, three Break.
See you in a bit.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
See you in a bit.

Speaker 5 (05:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Welcome again to Episode two of this Squest.
How are we feeling today?
This Equestras, I'm excited.
Are you in different chairs, excited in different chairs?
And today you are also in adifferent location.
Oh, that's right.
Having successfully somewhatnavigated the countryside,

(06:14):
you've made it to the town ofs'VIV, prot ombas.
Here you see Fort speckling, asprawling skyline, as this town
sits on sort of a strange spitof land, kind of sitting in the
middle of a beautiful sound.
That's where the salt water andthe fresh water mixes, making

(06:37):
this area particularly fertileand home to fauna that you don't
see in other places.
On Bihar and this is Merca'shometown we find ourselves in
Arcane Colony.
Now, in the past, arcane Colonywas home to the great inventors
that kept this town safe.
So Merca's neighbors are warmages, a very high repute

(06:58):
specialists in protection magicsand, depending on how you roll,
maybe you can learn more aboutthem.
But for now we find ourselvesin a kitty party.
The party is just kicking up.
You are all fashionably late.
What are you?

Speaker 6 (07:17):
wearing.
I know Priya, the woman who isthrowing this party, and she is
very much.
More is more, so I prefer to beeven more is even more whenever
I am going to any of her kittyparties.
So I have changed from mycasual silkwear into a gleaming
orange and gold saree with abeautiful golden belt and some

(07:41):
golden shoes like little kitchenheels for the kitty party.
Let me see what I did there.
And fully gold, completely24-carat gold jewellery bangles.
I have a hair piece it's a verygood look and I for some reason
seem to have a little bit of anorangey gold sheen on my face.

(08:03):
It's not quite makeup, we can'tquite tell, but when anyone
looks at me I just look like Ihave a little bit of an orange
glow to go with my dress, marca.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
I tap my coat and I cast, tinkering.
So I am going to project theimage of a bow tie and then I am
also going to cast.
You can do like the thing youtap, it's like an odor.
So I am just going to castcologne on myself.

Speaker 6 (08:31):
Oh, so you smell good .
Is it jacar noir.
Sorry, sorry, uncle, I calledyou out.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
Sorry, sorry not sorry, it is straight up 100%.

Speaker 5 (08:48):
So, ash, so I am wearing the only formal clothes
that I brought with me.
It's actually my father's kurta, and she is a little taller
than me, so the tail hole isn'tin the right spot, so it's just
kind of sometimes bunched up inthe back there and poor punj is

(09:10):
sort of poking out the wrongareas of the kurta.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
The punj- is the punj , did you say?

Speaker 6 (09:21):
das punj, punj das.
Now it's Indian See it goeseither way.
We are all just one small world.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
Lundi auntie has a cooking rag over her shoulder
and is wearing the same outfitshe was wearing before.

Speaker 6 (09:37):
She is working.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
She is working.

Speaker 4 (09:41):
I'll say Bucca has a beautiful opulessant vest that
trails behind him.

Speaker 5 (09:56):
A wedding gown.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
Kind of yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
As you look over at Bucca's train trailing on the
ground, you notice that Bucca istrying to drive your
contraption, your cannon.
Oh yeah, beep boop.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
You having a good time, bucca, he loves it.
He loves it.
Just don't activate it.
It's a flame thrower.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
You are very dangerous.
Come to our helmet.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
He'll look like a dork but okay, better dork than
dead.
I'll put a helmet on Bucca.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
What is already a helmet the metal head.

Speaker 4 (10:49):
A less safe material on top of the hardened metal.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
And as you do this, bucca goes bonk bonk.

Speaker 3 (11:01):
Bonk, bonk on the head.

Speaker 6 (11:04):
Anyone?
No, okay, you are all too young, suck it.

Speaker 4 (11:10):
Wow, was it from the 1700s.

Speaker 6 (11:13):
It was from the original Star Trek.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
It was an original.
Yeah, discovery.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Sorry, I'm so voluntary, as you enter Merca's
home and probably make your wayto the rooftop, because this is
a rooftop party and a lot of thehouses in this area have flat
rooftops.
You actually look out over thecity of Diwane.
It has gorgeous forts andpalaces, the domed roofs of

(11:45):
which you can see with therapidly setting sun.
Give me a history check.
All of us.
Yeah, merca, with advantagesince you're a local.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
Thank you.

Speaker 6 (11:56):
Yeah, indrani, shout out to Indrani 17 plus, what 18.

Speaker 4 (12:05):
18.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
That was the same 14.
Sorry, I was funny.
14, 17, 7?
, 15.
You too would know that a lotof with a higher than 12 roll,
that a lot of the forts andpalaces in this area are
actually no longer active.
Many of them have been turnedinto hotels, tourist attractions

(12:30):
, theme restaurants.
You know where you can go andrelive the good old days.
But since Vehar has had ahard-earned and well-fought four
piece, these forts, well, there's a lot of controversy on
whether or not what to do withthem rather than let them fall
into disrepair, and a lot of thefort keepers or castellans that

(12:53):
were responsible for theirupkeep, find themselves without
the work with which to pay fortheir very expensive maintenance
.
But with that 17, something youwould know, sitara is a little
bit more about the role thatthese forts play.
You know that at one pointSouth Sindh Kastlin was a
kingdom to the north of Veharthat at one point sought to

(13:17):
expand its territory and we hada 15-year-long war with them.
They were masters of siegeweaponry and therefore the
colony here and now ArcaneColony, was actually at one
point a strategic hub where warmages came together and
specifically learned protectionmagics.

(13:38):
In fact, you're kind of vaguelyreminded of the shield that you
saw Merca cast earlier.
The engineers of this regionexcelled at figuring out how to
make safe buildings and deflectprojectiles.
So you have a little bit more.

Speaker 6 (13:58):
I researched it for one of my films.
It was very good.
It was.
Thank you, too much kissing.

Speaker 5 (14:06):
Too much, almost kissing.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
Was there like one kiss.

Speaker 6 (14:10):
It was not even a real kiss.
It was like we went in for itand then we went to crashing
waves, you know, but of courseshe's too much for her.
I left the room.
I don't know what she thinks wedo in real life.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
As you're pondering this, le Duante, you notice that
there isn't a space on thebuffet table for you to put your
goods.
There's snack food everywhere, next to beautiful cups kind of
emblazoned with gold elephantsand the trunk forming the little

(14:47):
handle of the tea cup all overthe place.
I need one of those.
And there's just salty, delicious fried foods that
everyone is eating them.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
Now what Reika would do in this instance, totally
different.
I would, you know, quietly finda table somewhere or ask yeah,
le Duante goes what and moveseverything to the side, making
it so cramped, and puts herselfon the table.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
She should Roll a sleight of hand to see if you
manage to keep everything on thetable as you unceremoniously
push it aside.

Speaker 6 (15:22):
Seven God damn it I should have guided you.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
A platter of jacqueries begins to fall and
then you see a beautifullymanicured red nails green hand.
Come and catch it with thedeafness that surprises you.
The half orc is wearing a redlehenga.
It's way too fancy for thisoccasion.

(15:46):
It's a red stone and embroideryon the red silk.
The blouse is a little bit tooshort for your modesty and maybe
comes down a little too far,and she is dripping with gold
jewelry.
She wears a smart pair of specson her face and as she adjusts
them, sitara, you recognize heras Priya, a fellow actress.

Speaker 3 (16:10):
Oh, thank you, Priya Kanna.
What is the rest of your shirt?
Namaste Auntie.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
What is the rest of your shirt?
As you say that she adjusts herduperta to cover her modesty?
You know it's the style thesedays.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
Not my style.

Speaker 6 (16:29):
Sitara, it's so good to see you.
Darling, how are you?
I'm so well.
Oh, you look fantastic.
You look fantastic.
Let's suit you so perfectly.
I can't tell you how good it isto see you.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
Thank you, auntie.
I was absolutely just besidemyself and now you're here.

Speaker 6 (16:48):
I wasn't sure you were going to make it, but of
course I'm going to make it,especially when my own auntie is
providing the most delectablefood for this place, or you're
just going to die.
It's so, so good.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
This she like looks a little uncomfortable holding
the platter of juckeries andsays well, I had heard that you
weren't coming, so I askedKarana Foods if they could maybe
come in and fill in.
And you know, salty is goodjust like sweet, and so I didn't
mean to step on.
Oh no, oh no you look upset.

Speaker 6 (17:22):
Well, you know what.
It's perfect to have thecombination of the two things,
obviously salty and sweet.
You have a little bit of saltand you finish it off with the
perfect sweet.
So you leave with a taste ofdelicious laddoos on your lips.

Speaker 3 (17:35):
Your guests will love it, I promise you and I have
took the liberty of making roomon the table.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Oh yeah, Wow, I can take.
I can probably find thesesomewhere else.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
You could put the chakri in the other room or in
the back or something.

Speaker 6 (17:49):
Oh, you could just walk up, darn it.
Yeah, well, darn it.
Why don't you just keep it inyour hand and walk around and
see if anyone wants some?
It'd be so nice to offeringthem the food as the host.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
Yeah, see, if anybody wants it, that is happening.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
Well, I'm sure we could get a waiter to do that oh
.

Speaker 5 (18:11):
I could do, that, I could help.
No, no, no.

Speaker 6 (18:13):
She shoves it on, obviously no, no no, no, no.

Speaker 5 (18:16):
I'd love to meet people this way.
You must be one of Merck'sassociates.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
Yes, yes, Merck thank you so much for providing the
venue.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
By the way, she like completely ignores you once you
state that you're a waiter.
Thank you so much for providingthe venue and the hands, of
course oh my gosh, you canbalance another one on your
little tail.

Speaker 6 (18:34):
And she puts another bladder right there.
Sure, I guess I'm about to dothat just for fun.
I'm so terrified I amabsolutely mortified because I
know he is our guest and I feellike this is an extreme status
play.
I'm not okay with this.
I don't know what you mean.
Oh, I'm not saying that as her,I'm just saying as if like
sorry, I should probably go outof accent occasionally, but it's
just so much fun.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
So At one point I forgot she had a British lilt.

Speaker 6 (18:56):
So it's quite all right, you know it's in and out,
it's gameplay, it's fun.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
Sometimes it's there, sometimes it's just kind of you
know what, the same thinghappens to people in films
sometimes, so you never know.
You never know.

Speaker 6 (19:08):
So I immediately take these trays off of you.
Darling, You're very sweet tohelp, but this is not your job,
Priya, and I put these down ontop of another plate of savoury
food, so it just like mash themdown, Priya.
I would like for you to.
I would like to introduce ourbeautiful guest from another

(19:28):
country and another land.
He's come so far to visit us.
This is Ash, Ash, this is Priya.
Well, Ash, hello.

Speaker 5 (19:36):
It's a pleasure to meet you.
Welcome, it's a wonderful party.
Wow, it's amazing, isn't shedelightful?
So, opulent and lovely, I'mjust.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
Is this your first kitty party?

Speaker 5 (19:45):
Yes, it's, yes, it's definitely my first party of any
type.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
Well, then, allow me to show you around and with one
smooth motion she puts her armin yours.
You can't help but notice asshe straightens up her perfect
hourglass figure, built like awhiskey bottle, like we say in
Punjab, and she sweeps youaround the party.

Speaker 5 (20:06):
Yeah, my heart like leaves to my throat, because I
don't think anyone so eleganthas ever touched my body.

Speaker 4 (20:14):
Leave shaking hands.

Speaker 3 (20:18):
I hit you earlier and now.

Speaker 6 (20:20):
I'm offended.
I'm going to put the glassesback in her hand, but as you're
leaving, I just say gently inyour head, darling, if you need
a rescue, all you have to do isgive me a signal.
Have fun, bye-bye.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
Did you hear that?

Speaker 5 (20:35):
Oh, anyway, yeah, okay.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
Oh yes, we have a musician today.
Merck has been so kind to beour host and I'm assuming you
must probably find the wordkitty party a bit strange.
You always say no, no, no, akitty refers to, you know, a
pool of money.
You see, we charge thatentrance fee I'm sure you
noticed at the door and then wetake that money and we put it

(20:58):
towards the charitable cause.
And there's actually, you know,a different cause every month.
What's the cause?
This month we're raising moneyto help some of the farmers.

Speaker 5 (21:08):
Oh, that's lovely.
Yes, what's wrong with thefarmers?

Speaker 1 (21:11):
Well, and sometimes I'm like kind of continuing on
her tangent without answeringyour question.
Oh, oh, oh oh, but you're fromabroad.

Speaker 5 (21:19):
Yes, yes, I'm from Bratselwald.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
Oh, we've been wanting to actually maybe send
some funds over there.
We know things are very bad.

Speaker 5 (21:27):
It's a tough area for sure.
With the war in Breino, it'snot great, no.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
No one's really happy .
No, well, you know, one of thecauses I personally find the
thing is I truly feel likephilanthropy is so important.
When you make such an obsceneamount of money, you know, I
feel like, in order to do so andnot worry for your afterlife,
for your karma, your eternalsoul, you have to really give as

(21:56):
much as you get, and so I'mactually sponsoring a foreigner.

Speaker 5 (22:01):
You're sponsoring a from where?

Speaker 1 (22:03):
Well, I don't remember where he's from, but
you have to meet him.
He's a wildlife expert, but notfor the things you think.
See, you'd probably think he'strying to save elephants for
peacocks, but he's such adarling he's trying to save like
random mosses and stuff.

Speaker 5 (22:21):
Random.
What now Say?

Speaker 1 (22:22):
again Mosses and like , like mushrooms, I don't really
pay attention, if I'm beinghonest.

Speaker 5 (22:27):
Okay.
So he's trying to save mosseslike yeah, Okay, so not animals.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
And I fund his expeditions into the forest.

Speaker 5 (22:38):
Okay, yeah, I would love to meet anybody.
I'm so intrigued by this wholeplace.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
You know what I'm going to call him over, and I
bet he won't even think your axehad strange it.
Then you can both be likeforeigners together.

Speaker 5 (22:49):
He don't think it was strange either, but fine.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
And she gestures to someone across the room.
Will you please join us, ourwonderful guest?
What?
Yes?

Speaker 4 (23:04):
Yes, and today you're an honor to the.

Speaker 3 (23:09):
DC.

Speaker 6 (23:09):
I love it oh my God, look at you.
You look so gorgeous.
Thank you, you all lookwonderful.
As for, always.

Speaker 4 (23:13):
That's not fair.
You're so beautiful, you're sobeautiful, you're so beautiful,
you're so beautiful, you're sobeautiful, you're so beautiful,
you're so beautiful, you're sobeautiful, you're so beautiful,
you're so beautiful, you don'tlook better than you already
look in real-life.

Speaker 6 (23:25):
That's not fair.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
Look what we got.
We got Rihanna.
He's like saying a meme Hi, I'mReika.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
I'm Louise Nice to meet you, Nice to meet you.
We've met and I know both ofyou.
You're so far away from me thishow do I grab?

Speaker 4 (23:43):
Here.
I'll just wrangle you from here.

Speaker 6 (23:44):
Hold on, yeah, we can just slide under just a little
bit more.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
Are you going to play footsie on this basket?
I'm trying, we can try.

Speaker 4 (23:53):
It's longer than it's seen.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
That's what he said.

Speaker 4 (23:56):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (23:58):
It's longer than it's seen.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
I thought you said it , I thought it and I wasn't
going to say it oh yeah, no, wedon't.

Speaker 3 (24:04):
We're here to do it for you, we're here to do it for
you, darling.

Speaker 6 (24:07):
Oh my gosh, Thank you .

Speaker 2 (24:10):
So who do you want to go attack first?

Speaker 1 (24:12):
Right, yeah, all of them, all of them, louise.
Yes, will you describe yourcharacter for us, for the table?

Speaker 2 (24:20):
So, um, as a Priya Mm-hmm Becken's me forth, you
see, um, it takes a moment.
If you turn to see where Priyais gesturing, then it takes a
moment before Namir notices, half a second before Namir
notices that he's being beckoned.

(24:41):
And you see a man who ishalf-elven in appearance, medium
, light brown skin, uh, lightbrown hair, uh, tied back, and a
dark brown, almost black, goatee Wearing a leather armor
that's embroidered, the seamsare gold and silver and he has

(25:01):
these bracelets and braceletsthat are made of gold as well,
and walks with a kind ofconfident inelegance, mm Uh, as
he walks forward to meet Priya.

Speaker 1 (25:14):
Priya does like a happy little hop and immediately
discards your arm.
I know you don't like socialfunctions, but I'm so happy you
could come.
My little dumpling, uh, mylittle samosa, my little gorgoro
.

Speaker 5 (25:30):
My little go-gopo.
Oh, she's really pinching you, that's fun how many.

Speaker 2 (25:39):
He looks around to see how many people are watching
.
Um, is it there?
Is it there?
If you know that I'muncomfortable about, uh, these
kinds of displays, is there?
Is there anything you need fromme?

Speaker 1 (25:53):
Actually would you say you're characterless,
something like this.
What?

Speaker 3 (25:57):
So much like this.
Oh my God, hot mini-alert thatwas happening.
I can see that from over here.
Mini-alert.
Oh, boil, Boil, boil.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
You say there's like an earthy undertone to the color
of his skin and once you get agood look into his eyes you know
you're lucky enough to do thatYou'll see that there's coppery
flex in his light brown eyes.
Oh, Do you want to?
Oh, yes, Okay, I love this miniShimmering groves so cute, but

(26:27):
that's real.

Speaker 6 (26:29):
Don't give it to me.
I'll never get a daddy.
Ah.

Speaker 5 (26:33):
Ash is so excited to see, yeah, someone even
resembling an elf.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
Yeah, another half-elf and as he says there's
something you need, she is likewell, I have a bit of a, you
know, potential friend for you.
Oh, from, I think, like backyour part of the way.
A visitor, yeah, I know it'sbeen a long time since you've
been in Brehrenorp.
He's from the neighboringcountry, I'm right here.

Speaker 5 (26:59):
Here, great soul, great to meet you.
Yeah, do you speak Elvish?
I ask in Elvish.

Speaker 2 (27:06):
I look around to clock how anyone else responds
to him speaking Elvish.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
Yeah, to the rest of us it probably sounds a little
guttural, mmm.
So like native Bihari speakers.
Sure Because you know it's alittle Germanic.
Yeah, it sounds a little likeyou know.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
Drink water.
I should have me really gethanded a glass of water.

Speaker 5 (27:26):
Thank you, wow.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
I'll approach you and I put my hand on your shoulder
and give you a slightly tightsqueeze and in Elvish I'll
respond Good grip, Welcomebrother.

Speaker 5 (27:42):
What brings you here?
Oh, I'm visiting the homelandfor the first time.
I was born here, but I haven'tbeen back for 30 years.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
That's a long time to be away.
Yeah, what are you searchingfor?

Speaker 5 (28:02):
I'm searching for answers.
I have no connection to myculture and my family won't talk
about it very much, and so Ijust run off and go on and
explain myself.
Say no more.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
Any brings you in and gives you a big hug.

Speaker 4 (28:17):
Oh, oh, very tight squeeze.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
In your ear.
There's much for you to seehere.
Know that, no matter how youwere received, know that you've
been missed.
Oh, thank you, and then I stepaway.

Speaker 5 (28:41):
Where are you from?
How did you get here?

Speaker 2 (28:45):
Well, I'm from what town did you say you were from?
I'm from Brazovolt.
Oh, that's on the border.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
The kingdom of Brannor, you would know, has
been currently expanding itsterritories north into Zulhar,
and these two nations have beenengaged in a bloody war for a
long time.
Brazovolt lies somewhere to thewest, somewhat uninvolved in
the war, but still affected byit.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
And still part of the antagonizing kingdom or the one
on the receiving end of it.

Speaker 1 (29:17):
Antagonizing Got it.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
I'm from further north than where you're from.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
At this Priya kind of jumps in and is like Namiar,
you simply have to meet myfriend Sitar.

Speaker 2 (29:29):
I will meet whoever you require, madam Require.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
Oh, don't say it like that it will be my pleasure.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
Yes, that's much better.
Oh, I know she's not a littlebug, so you're probably not
going to be super excited to seeher.
I'm excited by bugs.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
You'll see in a moment.
On the mention of the bug yousee, sort of almost a wisp of.
Is it a tiny wasp?
Is it an ant?
Is it a moth?
It seems like something landson him and it's made of almost,
as if it's made of light, like alightning bug, and then it just

(30:09):
disappears in the wisp.

Speaker 1 (30:12):
Unfortunately she's not a bug and she calls across
the way.

Speaker 6 (30:16):
Sitarah oh God, here we go.
Yes, darling.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
Have you met my wonderful friend Namiar?
Now Namiar is visiting.
He's a wildlife expert.
He's helping me study for arole.

Speaker 6 (30:28):
Oh, study for a role.
That's what I've been doinghere.
What are you working ontogether?

Speaker 1 (30:35):
Oh well, we're working on a rocky picture.
It's being shot in the MorabaniForest Rocky, but I wanted to
like get some boots on theground.
Experience, you know how it is.

Speaker 6 (30:44):
Rocky.
As in Rocky Rakesh, my Rocky.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
Oh, it's A.

Speaker 6 (30:48):
Rocky, I didn't my husband Rocky oh.

Speaker 1 (30:54):
I had the clue that you were still married.

Speaker 6 (31:01):
Well, I don't wear this finger for my health, or
this ring on my finger for thatmatter.
It's just that he doesn't wearone.
Well, I know he doesn't.
He never has darling.
He wears it around his neck.
Oh, on a chain, oh that hekeeps buttoned up my, because
it's near his heart and it'smine.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
My mistake.
Yes, he told me that the rolehad opened up, and so oh, you
must be playing the role.

Speaker 6 (31:22):
I know what she's.
She's playing the role of theolder sister.
Of course, of course.

Speaker 5 (31:27):
Well it's such a beautiful film and the
relationship between the twosisters was so lovely you know
I'm playing the lead.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
Yes, I'm playing.
I'm playing the lead.
Oh yeah, it was the young womanwho goes and dispatches the
Racknid Court.

Speaker 6 (31:42):
Right, right, the story that I don't read from my
I've been getting into shape forit, because I want to try to at
least do some of my own stunts.
Oh well, that's very sweet ofyou and clearly you have some
work to do, so I'm very happy tohelp you if you need.
Oh, I wouldn't want you to hurtsomething at your age, oh.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
Oh, darling.

Speaker 5 (32:06):
Believe me, I've choked my water, because I've
got that one.

Speaker 6 (32:10):
I may be older than I look, but I'm younger than I
feel.
Oh well, I mean, that's notwhat.
I meant to say I think she'llbe back.
Never mind, I'm Forget, I saidthat so well.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
I know that you know orcs age a bit differently than
everyone else, but I just hopethat you know I enjoy this while
I have it and as I get older Ihope I get more meaty roles and
I'm just going to try to do mybest.
Yes, does Leigh do want to hearany of this?
Yeah, you probably hear it fromsome distance away.

Speaker 3 (32:47):
She comes charging forward with a plate.
You're looking pale.
You should eat.

Speaker 1 (32:54):
I'm trying to cut down Auntie.

Speaker 3 (32:56):
Oh, but you're kind of sick, so you should be trying
to really yeah.

Speaker 6 (33:01):
So, as this is happening, we're taking a look.
So you are, your name is, andthen she finally gets a chance
to look at him.
Your name is.
Sorry, I forgot what I wassaying.
Namier, namier, yes, namier.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
And your name.
I'm sorry.

Speaker 6 (33:16):
Citarra, citarra.

Speaker 2 (33:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (33:17):
Citarra.

Speaker 2 (33:19):
And you are an old friend of Priya.
Priya, yes, yes.

Speaker 6 (33:23):
I'm not so old, I'm very old, I'm so yes.
And you know that movie I'mworking on.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
I've just found out that Citarra's actually married
to the producer.
Yeah, you know, oh.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
Yes, close ties all over.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
I know we're a happy little accident.
Yeah, happily married.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
Extremely happy.
Make a deception check.
Oh why?
Why, Auntie?
Why guidance Dirty 20s?
Yes, that's my guidance.
That's my guidance.
Okay, so let's roll a D4.
Plus one.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
Okay, yeah, 21.

Speaker 5 (34:00):
Yeah, I'm gonna buy this Like oh very happily
married.

Speaker 3 (34:03):
You're so married, I am so married, deeply married.
Mmm, don't look at her.
She's so married, oh.

Speaker 6 (34:12):
Well, darling, I'm married, not dead.
Don't look at her, don't temptme.

Speaker 5 (34:17):
What role are you gonna play in the movie then?

Speaker 6 (34:19):
Oh well, you know what I think perhaps there's
been some confusion darling, because I don't think Rocky has
told people yet.
I came up here to do someconservation work and to
research a role in a differentmovie.
I thought it was the one that Iwas talking about, but clearly
it's a different one.

Speaker 3 (34:36):
Rocky must be experimenting, you know,
diversifying the type of personhe hires sick people, you know
kind of different, differentlocals.

Speaker 6 (34:45):
And now you hear in your head Auntie, stop trying to
help.

Speaker 3 (34:49):
Sick ill sort of sad.

Speaker 6 (34:51):
So, namir, you're here visiting for work or for
pleasure?

Speaker 2 (34:55):
Well, I suppose I live here, or at least just
outside of here.
I spend most of my time in theforest.
It's where I feel the most athome right now.
But I've been all over.
I come from the northern regionand I've spent time.
I've spent a little bit of timewhere you're from, my friend.

Speaker 5 (35:14):
Yes, we're from roughly the same area.
I mean, you know, relativelyspeaking to where we are today.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
Yes, but still quite far from each other.
But it's OK.

Speaker 6 (35:24):
And what do you specialise in in the forest?
Is it the flora, is it thefauna, is it All of it?

Speaker 2 (35:29):
In tree.
What do you want to know?
Are you a student of thenatural world?
I?

Speaker 6 (35:35):
am.
Ever since I was young, I'vebeen close to animals, to.
I felt a kindred spirit withthe plants around.
I've felt the.
I've taken the journeys thatone can take with some of the
varieties of moss and fungi andall of the things that we have
available to us in the world.

(35:55):
It's so special.
The relationship that itconnects you with the spiritual
nature of all of the things inthe universe is just amazing.
And of course, I have mydarling, jotu, and Jotu just
skitters out from under my saree.
You have not met Jotu.

Speaker 5 (36:12):
No.

Speaker 6 (36:12):
Let me tell you about him.
Jotu resembles a Malabar giantsquirrel.
Yes, look it up, it's real.
This giant squirrel is aboutthree feet long.
He has big pushy tail and he ismulti-coloured he's got a
cobalt blue, a little bit of amaroon, little marigold colour
and he seems very you know, veryclose to me.

(36:35):
He's very attached, so when hecomes out you can tell he's been
curled around, like like curledaround me, like a little puppy
would be curled around you.
And then he just slinks rightout and looks up with the
sweetest little look in his eyes.

Speaker 2 (36:49):
Immediately, I lock eyes with this creature and I
bend down and I just reach outmy hand.
Hello, little friend.

Speaker 6 (36:59):
So he just he's a little sniff and then leans his
chin into your hand and justputs it back.

Speaker 2 (37:07):
He said yes, I'll reach into my pocket and I'm
going to pull out some berries.
And may I?

Speaker 6 (37:20):
Please, those are his favourite.
Do you know what these are?
Well, he loves berries of allkinds.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
Do you know what kind of berry this is?
Do?

Speaker 1 (37:26):
you know what kind of berry this is Can.

Speaker 6 (37:28):
I roll for her.
Yeah, give me an nature trackor survival Guidance me, I
guidance myself.
I can guidance you, okay, good, thank you, it doesn't matter,
because I think we're good.
21 plus, oh wow.
Thank you again, darling.
Wait, is this what I think itis?

Speaker 2 (37:43):
Yes, can you guidance yourself?
You can guidance yourself.
Okay, good to know, it's anarcana chuck.

Speaker 6 (37:48):
Okay, well, it's still.
Then it's 18 plus 1, is 19 plus3, so 22.
It's a good berry.
A good berry as in it gives HP.

Speaker 2 (38:01):
so it's a.
You see that as you starttaking a closer look and you go
in to try to assess the naturalelements of it.
But then you see this, likewisp of arcane magic mixed with
this sort of natural magic justswirl around it and it is a
piece of for lack of a betterterm it's a piece of me.

Speaker 6 (38:24):
Oh God.
So I look closer and I justlook up at him and say you Not
of my actual flesh no, no, no, Iknow what you mean.
I get what you're saying.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
But I, yes, and I offer to your To Cho too, cho
too.

Speaker 6 (38:39):
Cho too, cho too.
I'm going to say it out loud, but you can see in her face this
just like gratitude.
Just thank you for being kind.

Speaker 2 (38:49):
Ah, you surprised me.
When you were a child, you werefascinated with the mushrooms
and the moss you had mentioned.

Speaker 6 (38:55):
Yes, when did you lose that?
Oh, I've never lost it.

Speaker 2 (38:58):
Never, never, not at all.

Speaker 6 (39:00):
No, it's still inside me.

Speaker 2 (39:02):
So you're not here to research a role.

Speaker 6 (39:04):
Well, it was a role that was written for me.

Speaker 2 (39:06):
Did you ever write your own roles?

Speaker 6 (39:12):
Don't tell anyone.
Huh, Don't listen, goddammit.
But a lot of the time when I'mtalking with Rocky, I share
stories for my life, andsometimes he puts them into his
movies.

Speaker 2 (39:25):
But then he casts somebody else in it.

Speaker 6 (39:29):
Not normally.

Speaker 2 (39:31):
I think you're in the wrong place.

Speaker 6 (39:34):
How do you mean?

Speaker 2 (39:37):
Look around.
If you are so fascinated withthe natural world, then you know
that the moss and the funginever lie.
How much of this feels real toyou.

Speaker 6 (39:55):
How much of anything is real?

Speaker 2 (39:59):
When you're in the right place, all of it.

Speaker 1 (40:04):
I love you, louise.
As you are having thisconversation, almost as though
the rest of the room comes backinto focus and you become
vaguely aware of Bria's voicespeaking to you, ash, and she
says oh yes, I know about themountain, I actually studied it

(40:26):
for some time.

Speaker 5 (40:27):
You know about Rock Teepa.
Oh yes, Did I say that?

Speaker 1 (40:29):
right, a very illustrious history.
So this is the mountain, veryinfamous history.

Speaker 5 (40:36):
Just to be sure, this mountain has three tips.
That sort of are like teeth.

Speaker 1 (40:46):
Did you know back in the day it was actually called
the crown of darkness?
That's why it looks like acrown.

Speaker 5 (40:53):
I don't know anything about it, except for what it
looks like.
I just have an image of it.

Speaker 1 (40:57):
Would you like to?
I actually like to collectthings.
You see, my grandmother was aBaharian.

Speaker 5 (41:04):
Yes, I would love to learn about it.

Speaker 1 (41:06):
Come, come with me.
Anybody else who wants to come, you're more than welcome to.
I'd love showing my collection.

Speaker 3 (41:12):
I am okay, I do.
Reika wants to go.
I do not think I'll take up.

Speaker 6 (41:20):
I would hate to leave my guest.
Would you join us?

Speaker 2 (41:25):
To see the collection ?
Yes, please, I would love to.

Speaker 1 (41:28):
Marker, I actually wanted your help with it anyway,
because I was hoping you couldmaybe help me figure out a
system to like automate some ofthe sorting.

Speaker 4 (41:39):
Oh man, what the hell .
Oh my, that would be.
That's a yes.

Speaker 6 (41:43):
My nose starts to bleed, yeah yeah, yeah, you
don't have that.

Speaker 4 (41:49):
That's me, oh, you're just my favorite.
Oh, my God.

Speaker 1 (41:53):
Where's your little one?
Oh he is right there.

Speaker 4 (41:57):
Oh, he's talking so much.

Speaker 3 (41:59):
Oh God, it's all right, You're a matured man.

Speaker 4 (42:01):
Sorry, my dad, I thought you meant like you were
intending like immaturity orsomething like that.
No, yeah, let me, oh man.

Speaker 1 (42:10):
Like you see her blush a little bit.

Speaker 4 (42:12):
How unintentionally rude you're being, oh no, it was
the tone of your voice, it wasjust so.
You know, this is just a littlebit of feedback.
It sounded like you were likeinsinuating, like naivete or
something like that, which iswhy I made the assumption.
Don't worry about it, priya,it's absolutely fine, it's okay.
No party foul, namir, how youdoing.

(42:33):
Oh hi, do we know each other?
Sorry, really.

Speaker 1 (42:37):
You've probably seen Namir around with Priya from
time to time, but probably onlyin passing.
Yeah, like Priya is yourneighbor, so oh, okay.

Speaker 4 (42:46):
I clap you on the back.
I am surprised by that.
So, good to see.
Look at us, we could bebrothers.
Uh what.

Speaker 3 (42:56):
Sorry, you are a Disney map berry.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
You're a Disney map berry.

Speaker 4 (43:02):
Just an arm over your shoulder and that's like Disney
.

Speaker 1 (43:07):
Pedro Pascal, yeah.
And so that's the math-y method.
We're like twins, yeah.

Speaker 2 (43:16):
Who brought a mirror to the party you flatter me, oh
good boy, I wasn't sure that youhad actually ever noticed me
before this moment.
I know we've seen each otheraround, but I don't know if
you're confusing me for somebodyelse.
But no, no no, Absolutely not.

Speaker 4 (43:34):
Namir right.
Yes, yes, yes.

Speaker 2 (43:36):
You've got my name right.
I'm sorry.
I'm surprised.
I'm not used to peopleapproaching me the way that,
with such enthusiasm.

Speaker 1 (43:44):
You didn't always come by and say hi, you know.

Speaker 4 (43:47):
I feel like I do, I think that I think it.
Oh, so yeah, anyhow, Iunderstand that.
Let's officially make it here.

Speaker 2 (43:56):
Of course I take your hand, pleasure to meet you.
Pleasure to meet you.

Speaker 4 (44:02):
I suppose again Great , let me go get Butcha and I'll
turn it.
And as I turn, I look at youand I go.
Did you notice the chemistrybetween us just now?
My God, and I continue up.

Speaker 1 (44:15):
Did you bring back Butcha?

Speaker 4 (44:16):
Yeah I, you hear me yell Butcha.
I'm like, oh, my God, you knowDC Perry, yeah, yeah, you just
shout it, butch it just out intothe night, mm-hmm, butcha, oh
Butcha, I know you can hear me.
I know you can hear me, butcha.

Speaker 5 (44:33):
You don't have to say hey, butcha, to activate it.

Speaker 4 (44:38):
I know you can hear me, because if you can't, you've
gone too far, butcha.

Speaker 1 (44:41):
You see two lights, kind of like dull, like
electrical, a glow coming fromthese two crystals implanted in
the red pandas construct form, still sitting atop your
improvised cannon.

Speaker 4 (44:55):
Mm-hmm.

Speaker 1 (44:55):
It doesn't respond, but you see the lights blinking
at you from the distance.
Where's Butcha?
Oh, Stealth mode activate oh.

Speaker 4 (45:06):
Where's Butcha?
Okay, but we do have to go.
We were just calling for athing.

Speaker 1 (45:11):
Beep-boop.
Okay, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, and it comes waddling
forward with a clinking andclanking.

Speaker 6 (45:19):
I'm very much clocking what his reaction is to
this mechanical feature.

Speaker 1 (45:24):
You see the whirring gears, you see the copper-ish
metal, you see the gentle plumeof smoke coming out of an
exhaust pipe and you see thissmall red panda that you know.
You've seen Merca, probablycarrying like a child around.

Speaker 2 (45:39):
Oh, so you know how sometimes you can like part-time
, live next to somebody for alittle while and then never
actually get to know them.
Yeah, you see them.
Even though you're seeing themfrom like 50 feet away, it might
as well be from like five milesaway.
I think this is the first timeI'm not taking for granted that
I may have been seeing youaround, and what I've thought of

(46:02):
as a curious toy, I think forthe first time, especially when
I hear it call you Papa, ittakes all of my attention.

Speaker 1 (46:14):
This is this, and comes over and actually greets
all of you to try to get ablessing.
Tries to touch all of your feet.

Speaker 4 (46:22):
Yes, Good, good buncha.

Speaker 3 (46:24):
Auntie no, no, no, no , no.
Auntie Ben Ben A sheer vado BenA sheer vado Ben A sheer vado.

Speaker 6 (46:32):

fix that?

Speaker 4 (46:35):
Oh no, that's how all children are.

Speaker 6 (46:36):
It's a feature.
It's a feature, not a bug, buthe's telling me nothing.

Speaker 1 (46:41):
Yes, yes, yes, good, good, good, as you tap it on the
head, it deactivates, uncle ohyeah.

list Poor guy.
You didn't stop him before hetouched your feet.

Speaker 5 (47:02):
He didn't like that oh okay, so next time I should
stop him before I do so.
It's sort of a fake way ofgreeting each other Like you're
expected to interfere before.

Speaker 6 (47:16):
The idea is basically someone bowing down to almost
not prostrate themselves beforeyou, but pay your respect and
saying don't worry, don't worry,yes of course, darling, don't
do that.
No, no, no, Thank you, I seeyour respect.
You don't have to go that far.
Come, come, come, it's agracious moment.

Speaker 2 (47:29):
Get off of me.

Speaker 6 (47:30):
No not so much, that far Not so much that.
No, no kicking necessary, justa gentle touch with the hand.
I know it's hard.
We'll teach you about all ofthem.
Don't worry, I'm still learningat that house.

Speaker 2 (47:42):
I've been here for a long time.

Speaker 3 (47:45):
Auntie.
Very good, it gives him anotherrobot on you.
You look too skinny.

Speaker 1 (47:51):
It comes over to you.
But yeah, Mike does the gesture.

Speaker 2 (47:55):
I will, uh, I'll reciprocate.

Speaker 3 (47:57):
Whoa, this is incredible, that's incredible.

Speaker 4 (48:01):
First time in Dacey culture Ever in the history of.

Speaker 6 (48:03):
In South America?
Yeah, but do you want to?
He's done one.

Speaker 3 (48:07):
A back that someone would bow to a child.

Speaker 1 (48:09):
Kick up Like as the thinking mechanisms are worrying
.
It starts to get a little warmand then you see like a little
display pop up as it projectsand Namir Pehya goes from the
bottom of the Pehya tier listLike loop, loop, loop, loop,
loop, loop, loop, loop, loop, loop, loop.

Speaker 2 (48:28):
To the top.
There's a hierarchy.

Speaker 6 (48:31):
Yes, and we all see it.
We all see it.
It's his thing this iswonderful.

Speaker 2 (48:37):
Thank you, that's what I've been saying.
I think everyone should haveone of these on display.

Speaker 3 (48:41):
A list of those.
You should always know whereyou stand with someone.
Luke, I will show you my listanytime.

Speaker 6 (48:45):
You should know where you stand with someone he
hasn't just written on.
She just keeps saying you willjust tell us.

Speaker 3 (48:50):
I just hand her it in in my pocket.
I am getting it as necessary.

Speaker 2 (48:54):
Do you share it freely?

Speaker 3 (48:55):
I'll share it with anybody who wants to.

Speaker 2 (48:58):
What if they don't want to?

Speaker 3 (49:00):
Hey, if they bother me, I'll share it too.

Speaker 6 (49:02):
You can count on Aunty for one thing she will
always be come out.

Speaker 2 (49:06):
That is.

Speaker 3 (49:07):
You are mid.
I am flattered, no problem.

Speaker 6 (49:16):
Do you know the word bahia in?

Speaker 2 (49:18):
your language?
Do I know that?

Speaker 1 (49:20):
I think you've been here long enough that you would
know it means brother, yes, bigbrother.

Speaker 5 (49:24):
Do you know the word mid in your?
Language Mid low high Aunty isjust coined mid in that word?

Speaker 2 (49:32):
Yes, I am.
I am not from here originally, but my grandmother was, and,
much like yourself, I came backyears ago to find a piece of me
that I always felt was missing.
It's part of what has guided mein all of my travels.
Did you find it?
No, but it doesn't mean, youwon't.

Speaker 1 (49:52):
Don't be so sad.
The journey is part of the fun.

Speaker 5 (49:56):
But how long have you been here?
Ten years?
I don't have ten years you.
I don't even know if I have tenweeks.

Speaker 2 (50:05):
Well, you will always find what you're looking for,
even if you don't realize thatthat is the thing that you are
looking for.
I found what I was looking forand it turns out it wasn't that,
but I wish you luck in what youare searching for.
You will find it.

Speaker 5 (50:19):
You may have already found it Ash is rubbing a
bracelet and sort of sees theeyes on him and then hides his
bracelet.

Speaker 1 (50:26):
As you hide your bracelet, butcha waddles over to
Bria the D and goes the D andshe stops him immediately and
pulls out a little box.
I made this for you.
And as Butcha like processesand opens it, you see, hand
knitted chain mail, it's just asweater vest, hand knitted chain

(50:51):
mail, sweater vest.
And if Butcha were to don it,it would increase his AC by two.
Bria, you made this.
Yes, sometimes, you know, I'mjust sitting there idle between
takes and stuff.
I'll, you know, knit.

Speaker 4 (51:05):
Incredible.
They don't film thingssequentially all at once.

Speaker 1 (51:10):
Yeah, it's a bit weird, but you know, sometimes
you know, so I thought I hope itfits him.

Speaker 4 (51:16):
Thank you, Butcha.
What do you say?

Speaker 1 (51:18):
Mine.

Speaker 4 (51:19):
Butcha.

Speaker 1 (51:20):
A tune.

Speaker 4 (51:21):
Butcha.
What do you say?
Butcha A tune.

Speaker 1 (51:23):
What do you say, roll ?

Speaker 4 (51:24):
persuasion, all right Hand persuasion.

Speaker 6 (51:30):
Should have guided you.

Speaker 4 (51:31):
Sorry, that's the number, do that 19.

Speaker 2 (51:34):
If you do it half the time, that's better than.

Speaker 1 (51:38):
Sheepishly, Butcha goes through the processes.

Speaker 4 (51:44):
Thank you, it's Sokria Butcha.

Speaker 3 (51:49):
Sokria.

Speaker 4 (51:50):
Good job.

Speaker 3 (51:51):
Lend you an exam in Zvezda Papa.

Speaker 1 (51:53):
And he puts his hands up.
He just wants you to put it inthe chain.
No, I thought he wanted like a10.

Speaker 6 (51:56):
A little 10.
Like a high 10.

Speaker 4 (52:00):
And now, yeah, I will put the chainmail sweater vest
on.

Speaker 1 (52:04):
As you put the chainmail sweater vest on his
arms, go around your neck andlike assuming the regular
position where he just kind oflike holds you yeah.

Speaker 4 (52:11):
And I hold him koala style.

Speaker 3 (52:13):
Good quality okay.

Speaker 5 (52:18):
That hits me pretty hard to see that.
So we were going to see acollection.

Speaker 1 (52:23):
Sitara, you notice the tier list update.
You see Priya's name pop threerungs above yours.

Speaker 6 (52:31):
Well, apparently I'm on the auntie list and she's on
the venting list, so like whatthe hell Are we on the same list
now?
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (52:40):
Okay, great, now I'm in.
Now I'm in.

Speaker 6 (52:43):
Now I'm in, now I'm in DD, but I'm in DD, dd, dd, dd
.
Hi, sister, sister, yeah.

Speaker 3 (52:47):
Sister, sister.
Yeah, laduanti sees this andshe knows she's more so
concerned.
She's not as concerned aboutyou being with a boy as she has
with you being with Priya.
Yeah, you know what I actually?
I will go on that tour.
Yeah, I think I'll join you forthat tour because she's worried

(53:07):
you're going to kill each other.

Speaker 6 (53:10):
Trust me, it'll be me killing her what she don't know
.
What's going on Bye?
Oh, she didn't say that outloud, but apparently I did so.
Ha, we can go next door.

Speaker 1 (53:22):
yes, You'll help me organize my library.
I'm not getting that.
I'm not getting the ball sheoffers you a handkerchief.

Speaker 4 (53:31):
I'm gutching, I'm gut can you have your wounds on me?

Speaker 5 (53:35):
please Sure yeah.

Speaker 2 (53:35):
I'm going to have your cast blue.

Speaker 3 (53:37):
I'm going to say oh, my God.

Speaker 4 (53:43):
I can't cast spare the dying on myself.

Speaker 5 (53:46):
Jesus Christ, what's happening with my nose?
My tail just comes up and triesto staunch the bleeding.

Speaker 4 (53:51):
There we go, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 1 (53:53):
I would love to you go a few doors down into the
gullet, as we call it, toPriya's home, which is currently
under construction.
She's having the floors redoneand there's new marble going in
In a beautiful mosaic pattern.
You kind of enter this largesort of vestibule with a spiral

(54:13):
staircase going up to a domedceiling.
Up above you see a couple ofhand-painted posters of some of
the films that Priya has been in, and you would actually know in
a mirror that here in Biharthey've actually perfected the
technology of encoding thoughtsinto crystals and then
projecting these crystals ontolarge screens.

(54:35):
They're fondly referred to asfilms, since they were created
by a wizard called Filmgren.

Speaker 6 (54:43):
And I believe the industry is called Wollywood.

Speaker 1 (54:45):
No, yeah it can be.
It is now Wollywood.

Speaker 5 (54:50):
Wollywood, wollywood.
These are films, or films?
Well, it depends on how youlike to pronounce them.

Speaker 6 (54:56):
you know, everybody says things like you like to say
potato, tomato.
Where you are from, we saypotato, potato.

Speaker 3 (55:03):
It's a little bit different.
Yeah, we say potato, potato, wesay potato but the darker.

Speaker 5 (55:09):
I guess that's how you say it in Hindi.
Wow flex.

Speaker 3 (55:16):
You're okay.
You win the Good Indian Medalof the Day.
Good Indian boy.
I said there was a bunch okayFrom you.
That's my wish.
Boo, what's?

Speaker 4 (55:28):
next Gobi.
Come on Wow.

Speaker 1 (55:35):
That's good.
Priya leads you to abeautifully appointed study, and
here she has collected a lot ofrelics, some of which even
those of you who are localprobably haven't seen in a long
time.
There's ancient pottery that'sbeen saved from a landfill
somewhere.
There's old swords, sabers, armor that has been put on

(55:59):
display.
But more so than anything, yousee tons and tons and tons of
tomes, scrolls, volumes, verycarefully preserved, many of
them on the verge of crumblingsince in this time period the
printing process relatively new,but I'm sure Mark has working
on making them more common.
She leads you, mark, over tolike a sort of cabinet.

(56:20):
It has this like sort of carvedwoodwork you can kind of see
through.
She opens it and you see littlecards, kind of very carefully
stacked, and she says this iswhat I wanted to show you, but
you know, to see if you canautomate it.
And then she quickly goesthrough, finds a card and then
swings around to see which shelfit's on there.

(56:42):
And then she rapidly like Iguess this is where you will see
her do it she casts fly onherself and lehenga, billowing
in the wind, gently floats upand grabs it.
She brings it back to you, ash,and unfurls a giant painting of
rock tibba.

(57:03):
Below it you see ancienthandwriting kind of scrolling
along the bottom and you seevarious demons, monsters and
deities going to war at the baseof the mountain.

Speaker 5 (57:17):
This is it.
Oh my gosh, this is it.
This is the mountain that I seefrom when I was a child.
How does someone get to thismountain?

Speaker 1 (57:31):
Oh, it's very difficult.
I mean so months, months, months long pilgrimage.
You see, rock tibba used to bea stronghold of evil entities.
They thought that humans weresort of mortals, were not really

(57:53):
worthy of the lives they'd beengiven, and that they should be
eliminated.
And they made rock tibba theirstronghold from wints to sort of
start their war on the rest ofthe world.
But they were defeated by thedeities who still live among us
Well, far descendants of themanyway.

(58:14):
But people can still go there.
There's a temple at the top andthere's a market and people
celebrate there.
But it's a very difficult areato navigate.
Now, you see, to this day thedemi goddess or maybe goddess,
I'm not sure Sil Silan stillmakes her home there.

(58:36):
She's supposed to come downfrom the mountains and she
engages in this sort of I guess, play, this fake battle it's a
recreation of an old one with alocal deity and then everyone
throws colour at each other andpretends they're throwing spells

(58:57):
to recreate the battle.
She is defeated and then shegoes up to the mountain to rest
again until the next harvest.
But she doesn't come down, andso the harvest festival has been
delayed.
How long has it been since shecame down.
Well, she comes in once a year.
She sleeps the rest of the time.
Things have been getting a bittricky with her not waking up,

(59:20):
because the reality is thatpeople have started blaming each
other.
They think that someone orsomething is responsible for her
not coming down.
But the thing is, this is wheretradition and modernity collide
, and I think that's why peoplethat say we should continue with
the harvest regardless ofwhether or not we celebrate

(59:40):
Rungali, and that others thatsay to do so would be to abandon
a piece of ourselves and in theinterim, we're at this
crossroads and the crop well youknow is rotting on the vine,
above table or under table orwhatever.

Speaker 6 (59:57):
not me, not as Anjali would I know how long it
actually takes to get to, likeshe said two or three months, is
that?

Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
accurate.
Yeah, give me a survival check.

Speaker 2 (01:00:13):
You know, probably take a six.

Speaker 6 (01:00:14):
Yeah, no.

Speaker 1 (01:00:16):
Didn't happen.
Yeah, you don't know very manypeople who have made this
journey.
You do know that it is commonlyreferred to as a yatra, a
pilgrimage that takes a verylong time to go on foot, and
actually, if you look at yourmap, you'll notice you have to
go across a river, through ajungle, up to the upper reaches.

Speaker 5 (01:00:36):
What about?
There was that flying machinethat we saw at the docks I first
arrived.
The Haveli, the.

Speaker 1 (01:00:44):
Haveli.
It's very difficult to get toget to the Haveli.
It's booked out months andmonths and months in advance,
Darling.

Speaker 6 (01:00:51):
I'll make a call.
I'll see if I can get aconversation.
I can get a message to Rocky.
I'm sure he can get his placeon.

Speaker 5 (01:00:56):
Oh, that would be amazing, david, that would be
amazing.
We'll get you there.

Speaker 1 (01:01:02):
Promise this mountain you're seeking.
Do you think it has somethingto do with why this goddess
hasn't awoken?
I just find the timing to be abit strange.
No, maybe this is your journey.
Maybe you're fated to do this.

Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
Do you?

Speaker 1 (01:01:14):
think so.
I mean the deities work inmysterious ways.

Speaker 2 (01:01:19):
You see, Namir approaches Priya and leans in.
If you really think that theanswer to what's happening with
the harvest lies with them goingthere, I can help get them
there.

Speaker 1 (01:01:42):
Well, I suppose you'd be the best person for it, but
the jungle is so dangerous.
You know, I've heard the taleof a group of people that have
taken a refuge there, that cansort with dark creatures,
corrupted creatures.

Speaker 2 (01:02:00):
Yes, I know.

Speaker 1 (01:02:01):
It's Soha's domain.

Speaker 2 (01:02:04):
I'm not afraid of Soha.

Speaker 1 (01:02:09):
I'm not either, and although you worship her and
you're not bad, I can't say thesame of every person that
worships her, and I'm sure youknow that I do know.

Speaker 2 (01:02:21):
But I will deal with any of those threats accordingly
, because I do see the biggerpicture of things.
But there's a place foreverything, even Soha.

Speaker 1 (01:02:34):
Give me a religion, check or nature, your choice.

Speaker 2 (01:02:41):
I choose nature.
This is it.
I think that's it, this is it.

Speaker 1 (01:02:47):
Nature Deity, so I will allow nature Good call Good
call then 18.
Yeah, as you say this, you feela warmth in your hand, almost
as though something is formingthere.

Speaker 2 (01:03:04):
I will, without even thinking it, I think I would
look down to see if it'sanything.

Speaker 3 (01:03:13):
Oh, oh, my God.

Speaker 5 (01:03:16):
Should have hung on to that card.

Speaker 1 (01:03:19):
Everybody here wants one I get one, Julie.

Speaker 5 (01:03:22):
Everyone here wants one.

Speaker 1 (01:03:23):
As you hold the card in your hands.
It becomes warmer and warmerand warmer.

Speaker 2 (01:03:28):
I'm going to look at the card and try to see it for
what it intends to be, I guess.

Speaker 1 (01:03:38):
Give me an arcana or investigation check.

Speaker 2 (01:03:42):
Oh, no, five.
Yeah, just wanted to have alook at the scene.

Speaker 1 (01:03:46):
The card burns hotter in your hand, I will, and you
see, an eye kind of begin toform in it.

Speaker 4 (01:03:55):
What is this?

Speaker 2 (01:03:59):
I will show it to you .
Did you give me this?

Speaker 1 (01:04:04):
It looks like a card it is.

Speaker 2 (01:04:08):
I will take it from the hand that it appeared in
where I first felt it in, and Iwill, just as I start to feel
like it hot, kind of hot potatoit to my other hand.

Speaker 1 (01:04:16):
Yeah, yeah, as you are kind of hot potatoing it
from hand to hand, give me asleight of hand.
Check, oh boy, 20.
Oh Well, done you instinctivelylike kind of bouncing it back
and forth?
Your hands come together.

Speaker 3 (01:04:32):
No, we got him Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:04:37):
And, as you do, you are whisked away out of sight.
We'll find out where he goesafter this intermission no.

Speaker 3 (01:04:48):
No no.

Speaker 4 (01:04:55):
Um-huh.

Speaker 1 (01:05:00):
This intermission, we're going to be taking a snack
and our snacks have beengenerously provided by Karana
Foods.

Speaker 3 (01:05:07):
Okay, and not to bring Ladoonti into this, but
I've based her character off ofthis exact type of model of
business where, when I've beento Jersey, if we're like getting
like other restaurants orsomething, it's not from a store
, it's from some lady in herhouse.

Speaker 4 (01:05:20):
Right.

Speaker 3 (01:05:21):
That makes it behind a curtain for some reason,
whatever.
And then her husband wordlesslysells it to me or whatever, and
it's like she'll eventuallyfranchise or like sell it to
grocery stores and stuff.
But it's all just like twopeople making stuff in their
house.
So I think it's awesome.

Speaker 5 (01:05:35):
So now where they're at seven full-time employees,
they operate in a 6,000-footsquare warehouse.
They've never advertised before.
This is kind of like theirfirst foray.
Whoa, wow, they took a chanceon us.

Speaker 1 (01:05:46):
There's like sweet, there's salt and jam.
Yeah, the orange is so good.
Yeah, that's what I mean.
My favorite is the pineapple.

Speaker 5 (01:05:51):
So I just want to say to all you second-generation
Dacys out there, when you havethat craving to just grab a
flaming hot Cheetos bag, nah,nah.

Speaker 6 (01:06:01):
First of all, shame on you.
Come back home, come back home.

Speaker 5 (01:06:05):
Grab some Geronimo foods.
It's got the kick.
It's got mom's touch in there.
This is the stuff that youshould be munching on instead.
I really like the jalapeno ones.

Speaker 4 (01:06:13):
Yeah, this is the new go-to.
Like TTRPG food yeah, like thisis the snack.
Yeah, this is it.

Speaker 1 (01:06:19):
We're going to keep snacking on this intermission
because we cannot put thesesnacks down, but we'll see you
soon on Dacys Quest.

Speaker 5 (01:06:26):
So if you want to munch along with us, go over to
GeronimoFoodscom and use codeDACYQUEST to get 10% off your
first order.

Speaker 1 (01:06:44):
Come back.
So, as you are whisked away, you begin to feel a warmth,
almost like a rushing of windstarting to envelop you.
But instead of wind it's hot,hot steam.
Not enough to burn you, butenough to make your skin feel
moist.
The air feels muggy and as theswirling stops, the steam clears

(01:07:08):
.
Will you join me in the teakettle?
Oh, please.

Speaker 4 (01:07:17):
You're in trouble.
Oh what?
Oh my, Maybe I'm just going tobring back some trouble.
Oh, oh my.
Wow, I want to see our you gotyour card right.

Speaker 1 (01:07:28):
As the steam fades from your vision, you find
yourself in a richly abhorrentstate of life, with a toughed
velvet lounge chairs, somepillows on the ground and you
can't discern the nature of theroom you're in, as the walls are
covered in heavy carpets andbeautiful tapestries, kind of

(01:07:49):
muffling out the sound.
Outside you see an old tea barno longer tended and in front of
you you see a tatering tablewith a cup of tea.
Before you see an entity herskin, the purple that happens
just before Dawn breaks.
Her eyes gently undulating likewaves in a turbulent sea.

(01:08:11):
The irises, you know a shape ofwhich you've never seen in your
life, almost irregular at theedges.
Her hair kind of comes out ofthe window and you can see her
face At the edges.
Her hair kind of comes alive asyou apparate before her and as

(01:08:33):
it does, different tendrils kindof come out and begin fixing
you a cup of tea.

Speaker 2 (01:08:41):
Is this for me?

Speaker 1 (01:08:42):
Yes, it's for you, it's poisoned.

Speaker 3 (01:08:55):
No, no, no, we're going to find out.

Speaker 2 (01:09:01):
This is very good.

Speaker 1 (01:09:04):
I used to ply my trade selling tea.

Speaker 2 (01:09:08):
What do you sell now?

Speaker 1 (01:09:10):
Favors.

Speaker 2 (01:09:14):
How much do those favors cost?

Speaker 1 (01:09:16):
Well, it's rather strange.
It seems like you have a halfused flyers card.
It's weird.
These have been coming intoplay more and more, but I
haven't printed them in a verylong time.

Speaker 2 (01:09:30):
I don't.
This suddenly appeared in myhand.
I don't know, Did you bringthis to me?
Was this?

Speaker 1 (01:09:36):
I don't think I did, but I think someone did the seal
.
Do you recognize it?

Speaker 2 (01:09:42):
Do I recognize it?

Speaker 1 (01:09:43):
Give me a arcana, check or religion.

Speaker 2 (01:09:48):
I'll do a whole, I'll do religion.

Speaker 1 (01:09:54):
If you need the modifier, let us know.

Speaker 2 (01:09:56):
I know it.

Speaker 1 (01:09:59):
Ten, ten.
It seems vaguely familiar.
Somewhere at the edges of yourmind, you think you've seen it
before, but you can't quiteplace where.

Speaker 2 (01:10:10):
This does look familiar to me, but I don't know
exactly.
But I know who you are.

Speaker 1 (01:10:18):
I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (01:10:21):
Can you tell me who you are?

Speaker 1 (01:10:23):
I suppose I can.
I'm Newton, newton, mm-hmm.

Speaker 2 (01:10:30):
Do you work for someone?

Speaker 1 (01:10:32):
No, I'm retired.
I used to.

Speaker 2 (01:10:37):
Who'd you used to work for?

Speaker 1 (01:10:39):
Wow, the bosses always change, but the rules
stay the same.
And as she gets up a tendril ofher hair kind of gently pulls
aside one of the tapestriesrevealing to you a circular
window.
As you look outside, you seethe cosmos laid out before you

(01:10:59):
and a chaotic, turbulent sea.

Speaker 2 (01:11:04):
Wow, I don't know where I am and I don't know who
you are, but I know that this isclearly a special place.
Why am I here?

Speaker 1 (01:11:18):
Well, you had a favor and you needed help.
What are you looking for?

Speaker 2 (01:11:26):
Is that the question you ask anyone that visits you
here?

Speaker 1 (01:11:30):
I like to observe.

Speaker 2 (01:11:32):
So do.

Speaker 1 (01:11:33):
I and that we are alike.

Speaker 2 (01:11:36):
People that are observing are always looking for
something.

Speaker 1 (01:11:43):
I suppose you're right.
I hadn't thought of it that way.

Speaker 2 (01:11:47):
I suppose there are some passive observers.
But yes, to not avoid answeringyour question, I used to be
looking for what I thought was apiece of me that I felt was
missing, a root To my past, ofwho I was my ancestors, I guess.

Speaker 1 (01:12:15):
Why turn your eyes to the past instead of the future?
Isn't the future moreentertaining?

Speaker 2 (01:12:22):
Wow, the future is uncertain.

Speaker 1 (01:12:25):
Well, that's rather fun.

Speaker 2 (01:12:27):
And terrifying.

Speaker 1 (01:12:30):
But all of existence is entropy.
See, the universe seeks thesystem which is the most
energetic.

Speaker 2 (01:12:41):
Well, if it's all entropy, then it's all heading
in the same direction.

Speaker 1 (01:12:45):
Yes, A circle.

Speaker 2 (01:12:53):
Does a circle ever end?

Speaker 1 (01:12:56):
Leaving it is very difficult, but I don't want to
be in.

Speaker 2 (01:13:05):
I've traveled many places looking for the same
thing and I've never found it.
And then I settled with what Ithought didn't care about, the
answer to the question, whichwas the natural world.
The natural world just is, andpeople are often trying to be so

(01:13:27):
much other than what they are.
And the more I searched formyself and my ancestry and some
connection that solved some sortof a riddle for me, the more I
realized everyone else is thesame, trying to answer the same
questions in their own way, and,and I don't know, at some point

(01:13:50):
what I was looking for changed.
But this circle Does it meanthat things repeat?

Speaker 1 (01:14:00):
No, it just means that life repeats.

Speaker 2 (01:14:07):
But if I'm here, then I'm here because somewhere or
someone, some entity believedthat I was requesting a favor.

Speaker 1 (01:14:14):
Yes, that entity is me.
You see, I grew tired of thecycle and I grew tired of
experiencing life, and so now Ido this.

Speaker 2 (01:14:29):
You were alive, like us.

Speaker 1 (01:14:31):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (01:14:32):
And you found your way out of the circle.

Speaker 1 (01:14:34):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (01:14:38):
What was that like?

Speaker 1 (01:14:41):
Strange at first.
Existence is pain, but it'salso joy.

Speaker 2 (01:14:49):
Do you miss it?

Speaker 1 (01:14:53):
I think a part of me does, and I think that's why
you're here.
I think this is the closest Ican get now.
This yes, I think you call itliving vicariously.

Speaker 2 (01:15:09):
I understand that you must have some sort of interest
in mosses.

Speaker 1 (01:15:17):
Role persuasion.

Speaker 2 (01:15:23):
Oh, that's either a 19 or a 20.

Speaker 1 (01:15:29):
Very good.
I know someone who is.
I think you're rather fond ofher.

Speaker 2 (01:15:41):
Have I met her already.

Speaker 1 (01:15:43):
You can, I can arrange that.
Who is she Stolha?

Speaker 2 (01:15:50):
I could, I would love to meet Stolha.
I would love to introduceStolha to all the people that
are afraid of her, so that theycan understand the rightful
place of things.

Speaker 1 (01:16:03):
I don't really do this, but can I tell you a
secret?

Speaker 2 (01:16:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:16:09):
She's in trouble.
Her mind is no longer her own.

Speaker 2 (01:16:20):
That's not good.

Speaker 1 (01:16:22):
She's become obsessed with the shrinking jungle she
dwells in.
She wails into the night.

Speaker 2 (01:16:29):
I know, I know it's affecting people.

Speaker 1 (01:16:36):
Yes, it's affecting nature, it's affecting the
animals, and those that wouldhelp her have been branded as
heretics.

Speaker 2 (01:16:49):
The people in the jungle that are that some people
where I'm at right now havekind of distrust towards?
Yes, are they?
Are they corrupted?

Speaker 1 (01:17:09):
No, not yet, but they will be if you don't do
anything.

Speaker 2 (01:17:16):
How do we stop it?

Speaker 1 (01:17:19):
Would you like for me to help you.

Speaker 2 (01:17:20):
Yeah, I would like to do the right thing.

Speaker 1 (01:17:27):
You only have two left.

Speaker 2 (01:17:29):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:17:30):
I can take one and fix it for you, but there's no
takebacks.

Speaker 2 (01:17:35):
You mean just who been fix it all.

Speaker 1 (01:17:37):
Well, not exactly, but I'll give you something to
hasten your journey.
And that's about the best youcan hope for me, because if I
don't get to see the rest of it,well then it's no fun for me.

Speaker 2 (01:17:53):
I understand, because you're living vicariously.

Speaker 1 (01:17:56):
Right, you get it.

Speaker 2 (01:17:58):
You miss the pain A little bit.
I'll share my pain with you.

Speaker 1 (01:18:06):
Then you will have my boon.

Speaker 2 (01:18:09):
I will have to share your boon.

Speaker 1 (01:18:13):
I am agreeable to that arrangement.

Speaker 2 (01:18:15):
I'm sure they'll share their pain as well.

Speaker 1 (01:18:22):
As I fumble with it.
There we go.

Speaker 2 (01:18:35):
That's beautiful.

Speaker 1 (01:18:41):
Well, I guess you should be going outside then you
don't want it to float away.

Speaker 2 (01:18:47):
No.

Speaker 1 (01:18:48):
And it will float away.

Speaker 2 (01:18:50):
It will.

Speaker 1 (01:18:51):
And I should catch it , you should catch it.

Speaker 2 (01:18:55):
Where do I go Now that I know this?

Speaker 1 (01:19:00):
Help them.
Steam fills your eyes once more, and as it does, yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:19:11):
That was so long Okay .

Speaker 2 (01:19:13):
I imagine I just kind of do, I burst back into.

Speaker 1 (01:19:16):
Yeah, yeah, you see Bria's shocked face.
What just happened?
You absolutely and completelyturned into mist.

Speaker 4 (01:19:31):
I oh, this was the special effects you were talking
about right, yes of course, right, yeah, that's what you
were saying.

Speaker 6 (01:19:39):
Absolutely.
You know, we use, we've beenexperimenting, rocky and I,
through our company, with thisnew and you hear in your head,
just go with me with this newtechnology it's to make
fantastical kinds of films, youknow, and part of the technology
is the illusion that someonedisappears.

Speaker 3 (01:20:01):
Yeah, seethara has sort of kind of gone even above
actor level in a producer levelkind of executive level for
Rocky Well, congratulationsThank you so, as male singers,
we honestly need more women inthese executive roles.

Speaker 6 (01:20:20):
You know, I absolutely agree, darling,
absolutely agree.

Speaker 1 (01:20:22):
You know, especially because you know how to Seethara
.
Some of these men are creeps.

Speaker 6 (01:20:28):
Some of them Ah, ah, so um.

Speaker 2 (01:20:32):
I'm looking around.
I'm looking for something tohold.
I'm holding onto this if it'sstill in my presence.

Speaker 1 (01:20:38):
Yeah, it's still in your hand, ok.

Speaker 2 (01:20:41):
I need to um.

Speaker 1 (01:20:42):
Pre-Elect studies.
You Are you all right?

Speaker 2 (01:20:45):
I think so.
Yes, I'm.

Speaker 1 (01:20:46):
You look like you're looking for something.

Speaker 2 (01:20:49):
I've always been looking for something.

Speaker 6 (01:20:52):
You know what darling , sometimes this um special
effect makes people feel alittle bit woozy.

Speaker 2 (01:20:59):
Can I take?

Speaker 6 (01:20:59):
you to sit down.

Speaker 2 (01:21:00):
Uh, maybe outside.
Yes, that's perfect, let's.

Speaker 6 (01:21:03):
I'll get him some air .
Don't worry, I'm gonna take himin my, take him in the crook of
my arm, oh Everyone talk fast.

Speaker 1 (01:21:13):
What is it?
Until the sand runs out, youhave a plus one to all of your
roles.

Speaker 2 (01:21:20):
I do yeah, ok, wow, how many.

Speaker 6 (01:21:25):
Um, yes, so I'll take him outside and I'll talk very
fast because I know what'shappening.
Um, did you see her?

Speaker 2 (01:21:30):
I did, I did.
Have you seen her?

Speaker 6 (01:21:33):
With the tendrils and the yes, lavender and giant.

Speaker 3 (01:21:37):
Did you see?

Speaker 6 (01:21:38):
you go outside?
Yes, like with this.
Yeah, we did.
I said I'd take him and.

Speaker 1 (01:21:41):
I'd let him out, yeah , yeah.
As you're having thisconversation.
I mean like no one needs yeah, yeah, yeah.
You're.

Speaker 3 (01:21:47):
OK, I'm not gonna hurt you, I'm not gonna hurt you
, ok, calm down.

Speaker 1 (01:21:53):
OK, you can hurt me.

Speaker 4 (01:21:54):
Yeah, I welcome you, take it.

Speaker 1 (01:21:57):
As you're, as you're hurriedly explaining this to
Namir, namir, you find itdifficult to concentrate.
Uh-huh, as behind Settara yousee a massive plumed peacock,
magenta-colored.

Speaker 2 (01:22:16):
Ha, is this unusual Ha?

Speaker 6 (01:22:19):
He's not unusual, darling.
Do I see her?
Ha, do I see the?
I point towards the peacock.
Is this a real?
We see this at peacock, yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:22:25):
As you turn around.

Speaker 6 (01:22:26):
You see, like you know the three feathers on the
head have like an iridescence.
Oh God, she always has to goover the top.
I mean, it's beautiful, but shedoesn't need them always at the
bottom.

Speaker 2 (01:22:34):
It's just this is just a part of the show.

Speaker 6 (01:22:36):
Yeah, yeah, and I'm sure.

Speaker 1 (01:22:39):
It doesn't feel a part of the show to you.
Namir, I'm gonna approach thepeacock.
It comes up to you kind of like, with a swagger in its step, oh
, swagger magenta peacockSwishing its tail behind it.

Speaker 4 (01:22:54):
They're Mississippi.

Speaker 2 (01:22:56):
I will approach and I will go down on the knee and I
will offer up my hand.

Speaker 6 (01:23:01):
Um he proposes to everyone.

Speaker 2 (01:23:08):
Uh, are you here for me?

Speaker 1 (01:23:12):
It, without a word, lifts its tail up into a fan and
as it does, you see, nestledbetween the plumes, an envelope
striped at the edges sealed withwax.

Speaker 2 (01:23:28):
I will, uh, slowly carefully take it, looking at
the peacock, making sure that,uh, I'm clocking its demeanor.
Mm-hmm, what is it the seal?
Do I recognize it at all?
It's on your card.
Oh no, this is for me.

Speaker 3 (01:23:48):
No, there's.
There's two of them For youFrom her.

Speaker 6 (01:23:53):
Yes, you've seen her.
I have Show me your card.
Does it look the same as mine?

Speaker 1 (01:23:59):
Yes, very similar, okay, For two no.

Speaker 2 (01:24:04):
I'm unsure of what it means, but you had a
conversation with her as wellthen.

Speaker 6 (01:24:09):
I did, but you have, and I see that he has only one
space on the card.
Mm-hmm, I see, uh.

Speaker 2 (01:24:20):
Why does this matter to you?
If I have more, this is badnews, is it?
No, it's.

Speaker 6 (01:24:29):
Ah, how do I explain?
It means that she has given youfavour.

Speaker 2 (01:24:34):
Yes.

Speaker 6 (01:24:36):
But I believe it means that more will be asked of
you as well.
Does that make sense?
With whatever you it?

Speaker 2 (01:24:43):
makes sense.
Nothing is free.

Speaker 6 (01:24:46):
No, it really isn't.

Speaker 2 (01:24:48):
But something is in trouble in the world and I
believe we need to try to fix it.

Speaker 6 (01:24:58):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (01:24:59):
So hard?
Does that name frighten you?

Speaker 6 (01:25:05):
Does that name?

Speaker 2 (01:25:05):
frighten me.

Speaker 1 (01:25:06):
Yeah, give me a history check History check.

Speaker 6 (01:25:09):
Fuck, oh, I can't, god damn it.
I don't get plus one and Ididn't guide myself.

Speaker 1 (01:25:14):
Nine Nine, You've heard of the name, but as a
drowned wailing woman who hauntsthe woods.

Speaker 6 (01:25:25):
Right, and she also didn't.
She just give us the lowdown onthat.

Speaker 1 (01:25:32):
She had mentioned in a mirror about how some of
Soha's followers are not.

Speaker 6 (01:25:36):
Problematic.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
What about Soha?

Speaker 2 (01:25:43):
She is suffering right now.
In a way, Something is amiss in, I suppose, the realm of the
Deities and she is beingcorrupted by something.

Speaker 6 (01:26:03):
I don't know why, but for some reason, immediately I
start thinking about Rocky andall the excuses that he makes
for all of the nefarious thingsthat he does, that I know that
nobody else knows that he isdoing it.
Well, some people do, becausehe's doing it with them and I
say, if anything is beingcorrupted, then we must help.

Speaker 2 (01:26:24):
I'm not sure how to help.
I'm not sure where to go.
I wasn't giving much direction.

Speaker 6 (01:26:28):
Well, didn't you say the forest was where?
Yes, then we go to the forest.

Speaker 2 (01:26:33):
We go to the forest.
There's followers of Soha thereand they're not behaving as
themselves.
Right now.
The general public has somefear and suspicion towards Soha,
the wailing mother.
But we are moving away fromtraditions, we are changing, and

(01:26:57):
I don't necessarily oppose thator find that to be wrong.
But there is something to besaid.
Changing and evolving doesn'tmean forgetting, and if we start
to forget parts of where wecome from and we start to step

(01:27:19):
out of it or exclude others fromit, then that knowledge will
wither, and I think part of itwas really beautiful.
We're forgetting her.

Speaker 6 (01:27:33):
You know, when I was growing up, my mother was the
one who taught me about the gods, but she always said something
very interesting that no oneelse believes, at least no one
else says out loud.
She told me that even thoughthey walk the earth, the gods
are a part of us.
When you worship someone for aparticular thing, for love or

(01:27:53):
for abundance or forintelligence, whatever it is,
it's because you are accessingthat God in yourself.
And if we forget that part ofthe gods, we lose that part of
ourselves.

Speaker 2 (01:28:05):
Look, around you.
I feel like we've beenforgetting ourselves for a long
time.

Speaker 6 (01:28:14):
And we've been hiding from ourselves for a long time.
That's the truth.
We need to go back, let's, goback in let's.
I think we should prepare for ajourney, we should.
Do you not trust Priya?
You know, I've realized sincethis last conversation I think

(01:28:35):
she might be, she's very smart, she's very talented, but she
might be a little more guilelessthan I thought.
Really, whatever's going on,it's not her fault.
There's someone else to blamefor my anger.

Speaker 2 (01:28:53):
I see.

Speaker 6 (01:28:54):
So I'd like to keep her out of it and keep her safe.
If there's danger to be had, itshould be on the people who
want to go, Not the ones whofeel forced to.

Speaker 2 (01:29:07):
I understand, but I do think that we need to leave.

Speaker 6 (01:29:11):
Yes, are you okay?
You feel good.

Speaker 2 (01:29:15):
I don't.
No, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:29:21):
God, is that anything ?

Speaker 5 (01:29:22):
that I can do.
I feel healthy, all right.
I think Ashwathama would liketo be listening in on this
conversation.
Via his tail hanging from above.

Speaker 1 (01:29:37):
Roll a stealth check, yeah, versus your perceptions.

Speaker 5 (01:29:44):
Perception Um cast Guidance on myself.
Guidance no.

Speaker 6 (01:29:50):
Sorry, you're in.
You're in dice jail.
Now you get a plus one.

Speaker 2 (01:29:56):
Oh yeah, guidance On me.
Yeah, hold it, moli, I forgotto guide myself.
Oh wow, so that is a 16 plustwo plus one, 19 plus six, 25.

Speaker 5 (01:30:12):
17.
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:30:13):
Yeah, you try to come in and get a listen, but you
spot him almost immediately ashe Like.
How are you entering the room?
They're like out on a balcony.

Speaker 5 (01:30:25):
Yeah, so I think I was trying to go for, like,
trying to use my tail to myadvantage.
So I was trying to find a wayto either hang from above
there's some kind of a veranda, kind of a situation or an awning
.
Yeah, that would be my move.

Speaker 1 (01:30:42):
Yeah, as you stand, like on that awning or on that
veranda, we're going to say thereason you notice him is because
there's just like this largemagenta peacock that starts
pecking at you.

Speaker 6 (01:30:57):
Get off me it's just like it starts like no, oh gosh,
oh God, we need to leave.
Get down from there.

Speaker 5 (01:31:09):
Sorry, I was very curious as to what you were
talking about.

Speaker 2 (01:31:12):
We'll explain on our way, on our way we're going.

Speaker 6 (01:31:16):
We're going now.

Speaker 2 (01:31:18):
I'll follow you.

Speaker 6 (01:31:21):
Come back in, take a deep breath, make sure my orange
glow is everything's put backtogether.
Prya darling, I am so sorry butI completely forgot that I have
an early morning call Time.
You know we're going to beworking on some parts of the new
film.
I need to run.
Do you mind if I take thesefolks home with me?

(01:31:42):
We're going to get going.

Speaker 1 (01:31:43):
I mean by all means.

Speaker 6 (01:31:45):
And we've also decided.
It's wonderful, namir is such abrilliant person that we
decided to use him on us as aconsultant on the film, so I'm
going to take him with us.
He's going to come with me.
You're supposed to help me,sune.

Speaker 1 (01:31:55):
For my role.

Speaker 2 (01:31:57):
I am laying down the groundwork for you and I'll
leave you plenty of material foryou to study.
You've been such a quick studyanyway.
Well, as usual.

Speaker 1 (01:32:05):
As long as you leave me in it, I will.

Speaker 2 (01:32:07):
And I will inevitably discover something along our
journey that will surely informyou and your work, and I will
share it with you.

Speaker 1 (01:32:15):
I have a feeling I know where you're going and I
wish you the best of luck.
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (01:32:22):
Eep, something dear?

Speaker 1 (01:32:23):
No, I'm trying to lose weight.

Speaker 6 (01:32:28):
Just a little bit.
I'm going to take your hand andI'm going to say into your mind
I'm sorry for being so rude, darling, it's not your fault.

Speaker 2 (01:32:37):
I know that.

Speaker 6 (01:32:38):
Best of luck.

Speaker 1 (01:32:41):
She gives your hand like a firm shake and I'm up.

Speaker 4 (01:32:44):
I finish solidifying the last thing that I need to do
and I stand up.
Okay, your archive is fullyautomated.
What do you mean It'll now?
When you pull up a card fromyour system, an artifact will be
brought to you.

Speaker 1 (01:33:03):
You're a genius.

Speaker 4 (01:33:05):
Thank you, it was actually quite simple.
Every card, I took thesentiment and the letter and I
created different sense forthose that would give off like a
different sort of odor Fromthat.
I use my magical tinkering andcombine that with a charm of
plant command so you can holdthat card into a plant.
The plant will then read thesense from that and then use the

(01:33:29):
contra teleportation to bringthe exact item matching the
scent that it's been coated with, which will pop it over to this
nest of rats over here that arebeing commanded by a ring of
animal friendship that will thencarry the item over to you,
darling.

Speaker 3 (01:33:44):
We've got to go, we've got to go, we've got to go
.

Speaker 6 (01:33:46):
Time to take him Time to go, and then from that you
will take him, take him, takehim, take him, take him.

Speaker 3 (01:33:52):
We have to leave.
We have to leave.

Speaker 1 (01:33:55):
You have to practically drag Merca away.
Yes, Fria and you would knowthis originally came to the Wane
to study at the Wane School ofDivination in Arcana, Mancy.
So as a wizard, she is takingnotes.
Oh, and then you, oh my gosh, aring of animal friendship, and

(01:34:17):
she's like almost like followingyou and like gives your hand a
little squeeze as your friendscarry you away.

Speaker 4 (01:34:23):
And then sometimes I just like to cast, like these,
wand of smiles on myself in themorning.
Not for me.

Speaker 2 (01:34:30):
She's got this time for bed.
Yes, I will say one thing toFria the wizards, the protectors
that historically haveprotected the town.

Speaker 1 (01:34:41):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (01:34:43):
They should be ready.

Speaker 1 (01:34:45):
Something bad going to happen.

Speaker 2 (01:34:47):
I don't know yet, but something is happening.

Speaker 1 (01:34:53):
I think if anyone can fix it, it's most likely you,
but You're a better fixer.

Speaker 2 (01:35:02):
I mostly just want to see things for how they
actually are.

Speaker 1 (01:35:05):
That's how you fix them.

Speaker 2 (01:35:08):
I think the fixer in this group is over there.

Speaker 4 (01:35:13):
Are you?
Uh, do you?
Because you think I'm a mirrorreflection of you.
So you're commenting yourself.

Speaker 6 (01:35:17):
No, I'm not, I'm just here to how did?
You get some Dragon Cubs.
I can't even remember.

Speaker 2 (01:35:26):
Even Chou-Tou is like tugging at a sad gig.
It's a publicity of theself-compubation.

Speaker 6 (01:35:31):
Oh, my God, I'm going to sedate you and we grab some
of the Karana snacks as we'regoing out.

Speaker 3 (01:35:38):
Okay, they're pretty good.

Speaker 5 (01:35:42):
They're just come around.

Speaker 6 (01:35:46):
We'll catch you up along the way, but we have to go
to the forest.
Oh, okay, now, from what Iunderstand, it's a very long
journey, but I'm wondering ifyou might have some kind of a
garage vehicle, something thatmight get us there faster than
on foot.
At least do the forest.

Speaker 2 (01:36:05):
We're looking for where the followers of Soha are
congregating, which I believe Ican find.

Speaker 1 (01:36:13):
Yes, she did say she would ease your journey.
Yes, and she did say that ifyou didn't hurry, it would fly
away.
And your mind goes back to thepeacock.

Speaker 2 (01:36:24):
Oh, of course.

Speaker 1 (01:36:25):
And the letter it imparted you with.

Speaker 2 (01:36:27):
Right, I finally remember all of this and I
opened the letter and I want toread what it says.

Speaker 1 (01:36:36):
An invitation to a very special inaugural flight of
the Sky Haveli for Priya andParty.

Speaker 2 (01:36:51):
That means, priya must come.
No, it doesn't, no, it doesn't.

Speaker 6 (01:36:54):
No, it doesn't.
And all of a sudden, you seejust in like a little spiral
whirlwind, all of a sudden Ilook exactly like Priya Clothes,
eyes, everything.
The only thing that looks justthe slightest bit different, mmm
, because I'm a little taller.

Speaker 3 (01:37:14):
Now, this is how she should look.

Speaker 1 (01:37:16):
yes, Women tearing down women.

Speaker 3 (01:37:22):
It's not me.
It's not me, I'm getting herdown.

Speaker 6 (01:37:24):
I'm not me.
I'm leaving her safe, right.

Speaker 2 (01:37:28):
How long let's go?

Speaker 4 (01:37:30):
Let's go.
We're going to need a wagon,right.

Speaker 6 (01:37:32):
Yes, where can you get us?

Speaker 4 (01:37:34):
I whistle and it takes longer than it should.
It's not impressive for like 15minutes.
But then my cannon brings thecarriage that I bought earlier
the day.
Yeah, yeah, I just bought thisbaby.
I just purchased it.
It's mine right here.

Speaker 6 (01:37:50):
And it's a piece of what does it look like exactly?
It's not so.
It's like a deep, like a hill.

Speaker 4 (01:37:54):
No, this one I was interested in it because it was
automated.
Yes, oh yeah, the cannon droveit.
Yeah, this thing is a brand newspanking model.
This thing drives itself.

Speaker 1 (01:38:07):
Oh, let's go.
It has like spider legs thatlike unfold out and like drag
this cart forward.
It's very rickety.
It's not at all comfortable ornice like bullwinder's cart.

Speaker 3 (01:38:17):
It's like a waste bin , but this is a waste bin.
Where do you see this but?

Speaker 2 (01:38:23):
it works right, we're calling it.
That means we're the waste.

Speaker 4 (01:38:26):
We can all get off right, well, the truck yeah
Great, how fast can it go?

Speaker 6 (01:38:29):
Can it go fast?

Speaker 4 (01:38:30):
I look at you ask that question.
I'm not in view.
I then pull myself out fromunder the carriage as I like,
throw like a wrench to the side.
Oh yeah, Everyone get in.
Okay, I'm already in.
If you can bump up your ACs,you might want to.
I don't know how safe thisthing is.

Speaker 6 (01:38:51):
Oh, okay.
What were you going to say?
Was there anything else youneeded to do?

Speaker 2 (01:38:55):
The peacock.
I will just turn to the peacock.
Are you coming with us?

Speaker 1 (01:38:59):
And as you turn around you see the peacock is
like sitting up on the samebalcony ledge that you were on
and it kind of gently takesflight and then turns into a
plume of mist.

Speaker 2 (01:39:13):
Well, I suppose that answers that.

Speaker 5 (01:39:15):
Good, because it was pecking me pretty hard.

Speaker 3 (01:39:19):
You were being irritating.

Speaker 2 (01:39:27):
What I also want to know is if you were.
I don't mean to presume howlong you've known each other,
but I know that we've just met.
But you felt the impulse tohide yourself from us.

Speaker 5 (01:39:44):
I'm just meeting everybody for the first time.
I don't know who I can trust.

Speaker 6 (01:39:51):
What does he mean?
Hide darling You're having aheadache.

Speaker 2 (01:39:53):
He was listening to us.

Speaker 6 (01:39:55):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (01:39:55):
I don't blame him.

Speaker 6 (01:39:57):
Darling, if I had a gold piece for every time,
someone with some kind ofrecording equipment, some kind
of wand, some kind of thing, ifI had to believe me, I would be
even richer than I am.

Speaker 3 (01:40:09):
Bad out of the blue three times.
I use recording equipment okay.

Speaker 6 (01:40:14):
I'm just going to let them go on.
I'm going to do Auntie, justlet her Auntie, let her Auntie.
It's always better to just lether Auntie him.

Speaker 2 (01:40:24):
I allow, I absolutely create the space for that.

Speaker 3 (01:40:28):
And another thing.

Speaker 6 (01:40:32):
And there's no.
There's no animals involvedwith the moving of this machine.

Speaker 4 (01:40:37):
The only animals in this machine are the party
animals that are us.
Oh boy, so the term partyanimal?

Speaker 6 (01:40:46):
Oh yes, Okay and now, and I'm like and we let him go
on too.

Speaker 1 (01:40:49):
Let's just go.

Speaker 2 (01:40:50):
Yes, yes.

Speaker 1 (01:40:50):
Go go, go, let's go as the party loads into the
rickety cart, but just still atpunctuating the silence,
occasionally with bad uncle, youdo make your way back toward
the air station that you leftand towards the airship, and
that'll be where we close onthis episode of Vissy Quest.

Speaker 4 (01:41:14):
Welcome.

Speaker 5 (01:41:18):
Oh yeah, thank you yeah yeah, yeah, where are we?

Speaker 6 (01:41:24):
taking the ship Very far from here, and we have to
convince all of these peoplethat it is exactly what we plan
to do.

Speaker 5 (01:41:32):
So I've got to go, and if you guys are coming with
me, then come with me.

Speaker 4 (01:41:36):
It looks like you've got a parachute of some sort.

Speaker 5 (01:41:39):
Yeah, a young child gave it to me.

Speaker 4 (01:41:40):
Oh well, okay, In that case, let's take a step
back first and reevaluate thesituation.

Speaker 1 (01:41:46):
She starts to grab the boat.
We're jumping out of the ship.
You are not jumping out of theship.
How dare you make a fool ofthat woman?
How dare you conduct yourselfthis way?
Oh, I love drama, but then youknow the engineer.
They come and they make boats,uh-huh.
Now I don't have job anymore.

Speaker 4 (01:42:07):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:42:11):
And then you hear it very far in the distance on the
wind.
What the f***.
I think we should move.
Looks up at you the stench ofdeath coming from her mom.

Speaker 3 (01:42:25):
