Speaker 1 (00:05):
Hey everyone, before we get into this very juicy
episode of Desi Quest, I justwanted to tease a special little
something we have for you atintermission, and that is a
sketch from our Uber Talent andFriends over at the Get Brown.
So stay tuned for that.
But until then, enjoy more ofmy face and I guess, everyone

(00:25):
else's face in Desi Quest 2.
Or whatever.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Welcome to episode 6 of Desi Quest and welcome to the
tea kettle, Omar.
Oh, look at this.
It's the first time in the teakettle.
Now it's the penultimateepisode of Desi Quest.
How have things been going foryour party thus far?

Speaker 3 (00:45):
You know, good, all things considered, we kind of
came together under interestingcircumstances.
We are not a previouslyestablished traveling party, so
in the process of getting toknow each other and our power
sets and everything, I thinkwe've done pretty well, yeah.
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
What happened most recently.
Now you were in.
You crashed an airship a littlebit, landed it somewhat Sure
Near the Morboni Forest, madeyour way through a dread domain
in the crooked Sun Fort andwhere did that land you?

Speaker 3 (01:15):
We got out and we were met by a familiar face.
Our very good friend Priya wastraveling through to find us and
bringing with her a newcompanion by the name of Nori.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
And is Nori friend or foe?
Because I think your last allyended up being an enemy.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, that did definitely happen.
This was definitely friendlierthan the beheaded ghost that
tried to kill all of us by wayof love to empty.
Yes yes, yes, so that wasappreciated.
Yeah, nori has a very organizedand type A energy.
I think that's kind ofsomething we need right now you

(01:55):
do.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
You're getting closer to Rock Dibba and you're
traveling there a little bit viaa non-traditional yeah, I
wasn't going to say, a spider.
How do you think this is goingto go for your party, kind of
flipping between differentrealms, trying to get to your
destination as fast as possible?
You think there's going to beany complications?

Speaker 3 (02:16):
You know, when you do travel by spider, which is a
new form of transportation forour party, that you are flooding
into other dimensions, andwe've been warned so much about
the Feywilds.
No, I have nothing but the mostconfidence that it'll be okay.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Oh, I look forward to shaking that confidence.
Omar, You're my favorite by all.
Right.
Shall we get out there?
Let's do it.
Let's do it.
Let's roll some dice, let's go.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
Clink, clink, clink, clink, clink, clink, Clink,

(03:23):
clink.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Welcome to episode six of this Equest.
How are we feeling?
The penultimate episode.
Are you going to miss me?

Speaker 6 (04:13):
Absolutely.
I'm going to miss you.

Speaker 7 (04:15):
I'm going to be at your doorstep so I'm not going
to miss you too much.
I'm just going to be knockingon you with this amazing peacock
.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Wow, you just want to shake that.
You're going to knock on thedoor with that yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
You are racing with a supernatural gate through the
woods and now rapidly scalingthe mountains.
As phase spiders have aclimbing speed unrivaled.
They occasionally thrust uptheir abdomens to toss up web

(04:52):
and then glide up it seamlessly, blipping in and out of
existence as they swing up thecraggy mountaintop.
Everyone, give me a wisdomsaving throw.

Speaker 7 (05:05):
Okay, okay, here we go.
Absolutely Nice, okay Okay.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
I thought it would be so funny to build a character
with such low wisdom.
I thought it would be funny.
It's funny for us, okay, great.
Two minus two Zero.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
So we've got a 20 is zero 22, 22.

Speaker 6 (05:31):
21.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
21.
13.
I'm sorry, it's 24.
Oh oh, you said saving throwright.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Yeah, yeah, actually, you have a 25.
25.

Speaker 5 (05:42):
Oh, you're See, that's comedy, baby.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Merca, the rest of your party is able to shut out
these visions of gin buddy, strange creatures that dwell in
this realm just on the otherside of ours.
But one of them catches youreye.
Hello, Hi, sir, I just I needyour help.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Oh, I would love to If you could just Help, but my
friends are on spiders.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
And she reaches out towards you oh.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
God, oh no, oh no, thank you, I've had enough
spiders, I couldn't possibly no.

Speaker 6 (06:26):
No, thank you Too full.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
We don't want to.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
Okay, I'll slow down a little bit.
Yeah, Maybe I can really quicklike.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
As you slow down, her eyes roll into the back of her
head, her jaw unhinges, draggingalong the ground and she lunges
towards your mount.
No, which spider were youmounted on?
Zeher, zeher, she's on Zeher.
An 18 hits.

(06:57):
Oh no, zeher takes six pointsof necrotic damage before
flitting back into our realm.
Zeher reels eyelashes nowholding back tears, and begins
to lose purchase on themountains, falling down a few

(07:18):
feet as two.
And now, as you look back, yousee one of her legs is severely
mangled.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 7 (07:26):
Oh, no, oh my God, how close are we to them.
Yeah, do we notice, do we see?

Speaker 2 (07:30):
this.
You're all kind of like movingin a V shape for my
approximation Because you'veslowed down.
The rest of you are now comingup closer to him.
Have we passed the 10 minutemark?
Yes, You've been traveling fora little bit over a few hours
now.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
I'll use the cannon as like a flare, like I'll just
like hold it up as it's likeshooting flame 15 feet in the
air.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Do you see Merca's spider kind of reeling backwards
, sliding back towards you onthis like incline as you're
going up the mountain?

Speaker 7 (08:02):
Sliding back towards us.
How can we stop them?
How can we?

Speaker 6 (08:04):
stop them.
Can I use one of my animals?
Do you think that would behelpful to like catch or save,
or do something?

Speaker 7 (08:12):
Can we like coordinate together to try to
brace them?

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Yeah, do you want to try to move your mounts to like
get behind?

Speaker 1 (08:19):
them and catch them.
Yeah, yeah, go ahead and giveme animal handling check.
Flying bee maybe, yeah.

Speaker 7 (08:26):
I'm going to guide what's your animal handling.

Speaker 6 (08:29):
Plus one.
Okay, I'm going to guide you.
Okay, so I got a 26.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
26.

Speaker 6 (08:35):
13 and then 10.
I have 17.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
You're both able to deftly glide your spiders in
place and you are able to catchthe spiraling backwards Zahar,
letting out a heart wrench andcry as you see this strange
icker begin to seep from one ofher legs and you're able to stop
her descent back down themountain.

Speaker 7 (09:02):
Can I cast cure wounds on her?
Yes, I shall do so, and I knowI'm not.
I can't speak to her in herlanguage.
I'm just like it's all right.
It's all right, I've got you.

Speaker 6 (09:12):
And I feed her some grub.
Grub blood dude.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
Grub blood, grub dude grub dude Nine.
Bringing her back up to fullhealth.
You see the leg heal and shepicks up speed again, kind of
leading the pack as you makeyour way up through the
foothills to the hill station.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
Hey, what the hell was that?

Speaker 3 (09:39):
And I'm assembling like this, like four sort of
like nodes that are likeattached with like some wiring
that I'm ripping out of like mycoat.
That is like all wired up.
When we moved into the otherrealm, something saw me and
reached out and attacked her.

Speaker 5 (09:56):
Did you close your eyes?

Speaker 3 (09:58):
No, I didn't.
I made sure I didn't.

Speaker 7 (10:00):
What.

Speaker 5 (10:02):
Next to a do no, you can close your eyes and not
engage.
Well, uh, you just starestraight ahead and move with
purpose.

Speaker 7 (10:11):
It's just like you're on stage and you have to focus.
You know you have to do.
It doesn't matter what theaudience is doing to you.
They could be calling out, theycould be screaming out.
Someone could be on one of theyou know filmy devices.
It doesn't matter.
You have to focus on the taskat hand.

Speaker 5 (10:25):
It's like when you take free samples but they're
not actually, you're notsupposed to it's, you just take
it with confidence and leaveit's like when you're trying to
get something done and peopleare asking you questions and
then you just go straight aheadand no, look, you know, push
their faces in.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
He's a scientist, he has to observe.
I mean, I assume that is verydifficult for you to do, but you
should totally do it, dude.
Oh, okay, okay, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
I'm hearing the note.
Thank you, yeah, yeah, yeah, Iwill.
And then I hit the like alittle button on the top that
powers it up and I'm gonna givea blade ward to my spider
companion.
Ah, cute.

Speaker 7 (11:00):
You're doing nice Good job.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
You see the hill station so close, your spider
mounts moving up through, finding like little caverns and
passages through themountainside.
Behind you you see more bonnyforest, sort of sprawled like a

(11:24):
beautiful emerald carpet, reaching out towards the river
Soha, glittering to the sea, tothe bay beyond Sultana Bay.
The sun is beating down on youbut your mounts don't show any
sign of fatigue.
They move with determination, with purpose Granted to you for

(11:48):
your mission by Multan.
Now you know that they willtake you to the city and no
further.
After that.
They will return home from oncethey came.
You see it, Nestled in betweentwo mountain peaks.
You see the summit of Raktiba, now threatening to pierce the

(12:10):
blue of the skies, and Silgarright below it, a beautiful town
, full sort of built up aroundthe commerce of pilgrimages.
They offer food, shelter topeople making this holy journey.
They offer tokens of good luck, brushtab flowers, things to

(12:33):
offer to the goddess when youreach the summit.
All of these wonderful thingslaid out up against the side of
the mountain like stairs goingall the way to the summit.
Beautiful colors, roofs that arethatched with heavy stones to
kind of weigh them down, and agentle snow just beginning to

(12:54):
drift down, A few specks hereand there, catching the sunlight
and eventually settling in.
Your hair gets a little colder.
Here, Sand flags are hung fromdifferent poles that have been
struck into the ground.
They catch up on the windalmost as though waving you
welcome.
Your spider mounts come to arest right outside the edge of

(13:19):
the hill station, Settling down, folding their limbs one after
another underneath their weight, kind of the way a cat loaves,
and then nestling down.
Do you want to give me aninsight?
Check Seven.
Yeah, you just think Bonnie isbeing cute, but you notice

(13:40):
Bonnie is like kind of shufflingin low form.
Oh dance.

Speaker 6 (13:46):
Dance, dance, dance.
Okay, okay, break it down.

Speaker 7 (13:50):
I'm going to slide off of Guja and I'm going to
look into its eyes and I'm justgoing to put my forehead between
its eyes and then say thank you.
I think this is where we leavethem.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
I slide off of Choco as well and I am awestruck by
seeing Rock Tipper this closeand I can't even describe it.
It's a weight, it's an emotion,but it's heavy, it's viscous

(14:34):
and it's just filling my body.
I'm so, I am appreciative toChoco, but I'm sort of just
handing out the remains of mybritzels that I know that he
loves so much to offer him.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
But my eyes are up to Rock Tipper Eyes are up, still
shuffling forward.
I'm drooling a little bit atthe mouth.
Bonnie lunges with a puppy-likemouth With that yum, her teeth

(15:12):
landing squarely on your tail.
What did she?

Speaker 4 (15:17):
do.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
And then she begins to slip it up like spaghetti.

Speaker 4 (15:21):
No, no, no no no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
no, no.
Can I do an?

Speaker 7 (15:25):
animal handling to try to get her to stop.
Can I do an animal?

Speaker 6 (15:28):
handling.
Yeah, I'll stop it I don't likeit.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
I don't want this.

Speaker 7 (15:32):
I guide you, Okay.
So I got Natural 20 plus 7, 27.
Holy shit.

Speaker 6 (15:37):
Okay, I got a 19.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
Bonnie is very hungry , but you do manage to get Ash
out of her mouth before shecompletely devours it.

Speaker 5 (15:52):
She's got like a leg.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
That's like starting to be pulled into her mom by the
time that you get her out, which is like relaying her to
her mouth.

Speaker 7 (15:59):
Yeah, except her feet , except her feet are round, I'm
feeling like hungry.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
Wow, london, what a layup.

Speaker 3 (16:03):
I'm sorry but I'm sorry.
Okay, I didn't make yousomething.
Ask her what she wants to eat.

Speaker 7 (16:08):
Does anyone what?

Speaker 6 (16:09):
language does she?

Speaker 7 (16:10):
speak A whistle, a whistle, yeah, most of them
understand.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
Commands and a whistle, or they can be spoken
to.

Speaker 7 (16:25):
I don't want to use up another spell.
Yeah, okay, would you have?

Speaker 2 (16:28):
As you say this, actually, as you say like where
do you want to eat?
You hear someone behind youJust say are you, Are you, Are
you.

Speaker 6 (16:45):
Oh, I turn to see who's addressing me.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
And it is a person sort of wearing a human, wearing
kind of wrapped in a shawl, multiple shawls, trying to stay
warm in a big, heavy coat, looking at you with like these
big green eyes Are you, are you,are you, Are you, are, you, are
you.
Are you Are you?

(17:09):
Are you a human that's wearingaMm?

Speaker 1 (17:13):

it'll make a little bitdifferent.
Or else it'll make a little bitdifferent.

Speaker 6 (17:52):
She does not know what an autograph is and just
purely signs her name in blocktext.
You'll enjoy anyone with it.
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
Amazing.
Thank you so much, okay, andthen she walks away.

Speaker 6 (18:11):
Was this one of your?

Do you think, natasha, is thatLadova?

Speaker 6 (18:20):
Why does everyone know my identity?
Maybe it's Natasha?
Natasha, we did ask her to giveyou a little bit of a promotion
.

Speaker 7 (18:27):
Remember Crazy?
She was supposed to do aglow-up for them and for you,
remember.

Speaker 6 (18:32):
Did she give my address?
Are they going to attack me?
What are they all talking aboutme?

Speaker 7 (18:36):
Because they love you , aunty, is that?

Speaker 1 (18:39):

Speaker 2 (19:06):
Everyone gets their Prashad there before they go up

Speaker 7 (19:35):
And I'm staying close to her because she could do
anything if this goes horriblybad.
Yeah, this could go bad.

Speaker 6 (19:41):
She waddles with such a frussy what she thinks over
the fact that maybe someoneliked her product enough and
they are really her products orsomething and people love them.
She thinks somebody took mysocial security number.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Somebody's heard about you andis not pretending to be you, and

(20:01):
that's not new to me and goingto take my bank account.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
Worst case scenario right away you march with
purpose through the streets ofSilgar, People murmuring to each
other.
Is that her?
Is that?

Speaker 4 (20:11):
the real.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
Ledduanti.
And then you see it a thin wispof smoke worrying out of a
machine that forms a purple logoon the air Ledduanti with a
perfect facsimile of your faceWhoa.
Underneath a stall, you see along line of people lining up to

(20:37):
purchase their Leddu's and asyou push your way to the front,
you see a machine oh yeahTurning out Leddu's that only
Ledduanti could make.
Oh yeah.

Speaker 6 (20:57):
What are you doing I?
Don't sound like that I don'tdo any of those things.
What are?

Speaker 4 (21:00):
you doing.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
A little bit of smoke coming out of one of the gears
as this construct.

Speaker 6 (21:14):
Ledduanti takes one of the Leddu's from this robot
Sample, are you?

Speaker 5 (21:21):
a sample Okay.

Speaker 6 (21:23):
And she tastes it, and it tastes like her Leddu's
Exactly, which is not what shewas expecting.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
From the back.
You hear a clattering of pansand you see nervously coming out
your old friend.

Speaker 6 (21:40):
Malvindar, malvindar.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Malvindar Auntie, I can explain, okay, I just, I
just, you always said you wantedto explain More commas, more
commas.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
Yes, more commas, more commas.
I can explain, I can explain.

Speaker 6 (22:07):
Please don't do it with a chopper.
What am I doing, wait, no, no,no, no, no, auntie, I'm a good
boy.
You're a very good boyno-transcript.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
I came up here on a pilgrimage and then I decided to
do some base jumping.
Okay, and one thing I found inmy adventures up here base
jumping was, you know, peoplekept saying that they missed a
taste of home and I rememberthat horrible abomination, more
commative you when I was alittle kid and I went looking
for it and I found it where youbroke it and threw it in storage

(22:39):
and I fixed it up and I thoughtyou know what this will grow on
these brand, and so this isyour first franchise and I just
thought it would be better toask forgiveness than permission.
It is never better to do that.
But, and he gestures towards theregister.

(23:00):
I haven't even taken a cut.
I just wanted to show you whatyou could do if you believed in
your product the way I believein it, the way Mordecah believes
in it.

Speaker 6 (23:10):
These people are all here.

Speaker 7 (23:12):
For you and aunty.
Even better news this meansBullwinder is an engineer.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
Well, okay, I'm now caught between the things that
I've accused him of to get theheat off of me and my ego.

Speaker 6 (23:35):
I'm in the genius, oh my God, so genius.
With your hands, you created arobot of your dear aunty,
because I respect you so much,it's perfect.

Speaker 3 (23:54):
A real genius could do it twice or explain the
process.

Speaker 6 (23:57):
The most perfect recreation.
You came up with the schematicon your own.
Okay, that's enough.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
I did it.
I created the Ladoo Aunty.

Speaker 6 (24:10):
Why.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
I can't text you this for treat on myself.

Speaker 7 (24:16):
Aunty, don't you remember when he was younger,
when Bullwinder was?
This is what he said.

Speaker 6 (24:21):
Okay, okay, it's just it's quite a lot for me to take
in.
You know I don't have time tocome up to this mountain to
check on how things are going,to quality control, all these
things.
It's like keep everything small, small, small, small, small.
You know it's what I can handle.
You know, you know I don't.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
But that's why I come up here and take care of her
for you, with my wife, of course.

Speaker 3 (24:42):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 6 (24:44):
Huh, it, excuse me, with my wife.
Did we know he was married?
I think you knew.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
Oh.

Speaker 7 (24:57):
Okay, I'll give them a.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
And Ratka, you remarked good, he's married.
Oh, yes, yes, Rat.

Speaker 6 (25:02):
Khan Very good.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:06):
Bullwinder, I didn't know that you were married.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
Yeah, you haven't met Nithika.

Speaker 3 (25:11):
No, I've never met Nithika or a Nithika.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
You see, trotting up on a ram, a small halfling with
a bow made of natural vine, herhair braided behind her and a
sigil on her shoulder thatdenotes people that do
mountaintop rescues.
Yes, and she goes, namasteAuntie, and like goes to

(25:37):
tetrophy.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.

Speaker 6 (25:39):
Very nice, but no, it's okay.

Speaker 2 (25:41):
I've been keeping an eye on things up here when
Bullwinder's not up here.

Speaker 6 (25:45):
So this really is succeeding, yeah yeah, we've put
aside.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
Obviously there's some operational costs, but once
all that's removed we'rebringing in 75 gold a week.
Okay, Okay.

Speaker 6 (26:05):
Mama get a third, sorry Okay.

Speaker 4 (26:11):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 6 (26:19):
I am speechless.
I never thought.
You know, they're just my lados.
You know that anybody wouldwant this stuff.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
Bullwinder says oh, I never had a doubt in my mind.
Everything you do, even if it'snot always the best thing to do
, you do it with love, andanything that comes from love
can't be all bad.

Speaker 6 (26:48):
This has literally never occurred to LaDouanti.
I think she has grown up beinglike the eldest of her siblings,
the one that didn't go toschool, the one that you know,
the only one that didn't getmarried or have children.
So she's kind of spent her lifemaking up for that by trying to
help other people.
But I was assuming this is, I'm, a little bit useless.
These are slightly soft skills.
So the idea that someone turnedher soft skill into like a hard

(27:12):
skill is more emotion thanshe's really able to process.

Speaker 3 (27:22):
I turn to Nori, just to catch you up.
When we met that child when hewas a boy, through a bucket of
piss on, me.

Speaker 6 (27:28):
Can you forget about it?
Can you please forget about it?

Speaker 3 (27:31):
And studying LaDouanti's skill set, I created
an automaton that was similarto LaDouanti, that was
recreating, and I lost track ofit, and then it caught up.

Speaker 5 (27:40):
Did you think about the ethical ramifications of
automating a home industry?

Speaker 3 (27:48):
I have since.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
Bo Winderpipeson no.
And also in my defense I wasonly nine and he was trying to
milk a bowl.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
I no.
Ok, now again a greatmisunderstanding.

Speaker 6 (28:02):
Bo Winder.
All of this aside, thank you.
I have always worried about howsomeone without issue their
children can create a legacy andan impact, and you've given me

(28:29):
that.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
Well, I wouldn't say you don't have children.

Speaker 6 (28:37):
She looks around at all the people that are
marginally younger than her.
They're very much younger andshe realizes something she's
always thought but really isprocessing when you're an auntie
, everybody's your child, Evenyou, who I've just met.

(29:01):
Are you proud of me as anauntie?

Speaker 4 (29:12):
Oh, you can't just.

Speaker 6 (29:14):
Yeah, you can never ask that question I guess it's
just sort of You're giving it100%.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
You can never hold the question in your heart.
Yeah, that would hurt.
It's truly my relatives.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
Honestly, the fact that we just heard an auntie say
the words thank you, I don'tthink I've ever, that's already
a lot.

Speaker 3 (29:35):
The fact that you asked the question.
That explains everything aboutI now understand.
Yes, yes, yes.

Speaker 5 (29:40):
You're so authentic, oh so authentic.
So what's auntie's cut, then?
How all of it.

Speaker 6 (29:53):
Ok, that's a lot of sari.
That's not crazy.
I'll get one.
It put the rest underneath mymattress.
Better than SBI.
You know what I'm saying?
Stay back in India, no good.

Speaker 3 (30:12):
You laugh when you cry.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
Bo Winder says to all of you auntie was there for me
when I lost my farm and, beingthe son of a farmer the son of a
farmer and the son of a farmerI didn't know where that left me
, and I guess what I realizedwas is that I didn't need land

(30:41):
to grow, I just needed somethingto grow.
And so, even though I wander, seeking thrills here and there,
if I leave a seed to grow in mywake, then I think in my heart
I'm still a farmer and this isone of my seeds.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
Thank you.
She said it twice.
That's why he gives you a hug.

Speaker 4 (31:11):
Oh, very cool, no, very cool, no no, no, we all
know.

Speaker 2 (31:17):
Bo Winder ranks above you and auntie's ranking tier
list, son tier list.

Speaker 6 (31:22):
Oh, you haven't even seen my handwritten list.
You're like how would we Of?
Nieces and nephews and children, ok, you don't want to see it,
nithga, he's not long.

Speaker 5 (31:34):
Nithga.
Since you are here in this areaquite a bit, it seems, can you
tell us a little bit aboutSil-Salon and the pilgrims that
have been visiting?

Speaker 2 (31:48):
Journaling further into the mountain has been crazy
, getting to the lake at thesummit even more so.
We've had to close it off forthe time being.
Why there's been these strangepeople, nefarious people
carrying out attacks oninnocents?
We've been trying to uprootthem, but every time we start to

(32:10):
get a lead they retreat backinto the shadows.
They employ centrifuge, arcane, magic, poison, dangerous,
dangerous people bearing thesigil of Rukan.
None of us have been able tomake it to the lake to see what

(32:31):
is wrong with the goddess.
We've tried to obliterate thesestrange shrines and profane
rituals that they've been doingin places, but it's like a
multi-headed hydra.
Every single time we uproot onevestige of it, another one pops
up.
We're getting outnumbered.

Speaker 7 (32:52):
How many do you suspect they have roughly?

Speaker 2 (32:56):
They have at least five operatives active right now
.
In the market itself, thingsare getting more and more
dangerous by the day.
People are beginning tomistrust one another.
We've lost people, more peoplethan we've ever lost.

Speaker 5 (33:13):
And these operatives that are in the marketplace.
What intelligence do you haveabout them?
Let us roll.

Speaker 2 (33:27):
They're collecting materials for something,
something big, somethingnecromanic.
From what I can ascertain, Ithink they might be trying to
resurrect him.

Speaker 6 (33:40):
Oh, and do you think it's possible?

Speaker 2 (33:46):
I didn't think it was .

Speaker 1 (33:48):
What kind of materials?

Speaker 2 (33:49):
Crystals, gems, things that can hold a lot of
power in them.
If I didn't know better, Iwould say the components for
apotheosis.

Speaker 1 (34:01):
Apotheosis.

Speaker 2 (34:03):
The process by which one ascends to deityhood.
Yeah, it's purely theoretical, though no one's ever actually
been able to do it, are we sure?

Speaker 7 (34:15):
Well, I can't be sure .
I'm thinking back on Nuren andtrying to place, just out of
curiosity, if there's anysimilarity to that.
Did she ascend or descend tothe tea palace?
Do you get it?

Speaker 2 (34:28):
Yeah, give me a intelligence check 11.
You think Nuren's case issomething different.
You're not sure if there is arelation.

Speaker 1 (34:43):
Do you suspect anyone in particular, like someone
from your tribe or your?

Speaker 2 (34:49):
station.
I don't think any member of theguard would Like we take a note
to save people.
The idea of any one of my rankbetraying us, it just doesn't
factor.

Speaker 7 (35:00):
Then where do you suspect these operatives are?

Speaker 2 (35:03):
They embed themselves in the marketplace here, yes,
they're collecting reagents.

Speaker 4 (35:11):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
So, and they've created a barrier at the lake.

Speaker 3 (35:17):
But if we were able to find one of these agents here
, would that possibly interestinformation that could break the
barrier?

Speaker 2 (35:25):
You might be able to.

Speaker 7 (35:27):
I think this is not a bad idea.

Speaker 2 (35:30):
Not only have any of us been unable to get in, but I
think it might be preventing thedeity from getting out.
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (35:36):
Godhead.

Speaker 5 (35:39):
What would happen for Rukon?
To be resurrected Because thegods have all their struggles
amongst themselves, and thistime it happens to be affecting
the people of the world.

Speaker 2 (35:53):
I don't want to know what would happen if he came
back to life.
Between you and me, he doesn'thave a very high opinion of us
and normal people, and I dobelieve he's the one who sent my
parents away.
He wasn't always evil.

(36:14):
He just has a very black andwhite view of what's good and
what's bad.

Speaker 6 (36:21):
And that is, in a way , evil.
Do I not view anyone withnuance to take my sister?
That is evil.

Speaker 7 (36:35):
Who has what that we can do to.

Speaker 3 (36:38):
You have to slice it.

Speaker 7 (36:39):
Clearly I'm going to be someone else, but I can, so
they're looking for componentsthat can store great power.

Speaker 5 (36:49):
I assume that with all of your modern technology
you have something of that sort.

Speaker 3 (36:54):
Oh, yeah, I've got.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, oh, I couldsay that I'm selling off my
stuff and whoever's going to buyit is a real suspicious
customer.
So I've got to get the word out.
Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Why are you crying?
What's wrong?
My son and I pick you up, bythe way, this is Butcha, my son.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
Butcha, so Butcha.

Speaker 3 (37:15):
Never.

Speaker 2 (37:16):
Butcha, buy Butcha stuff.

Speaker 3 (37:18):
Yes, always.
What do you want, Butcha?

Speaker 2 (37:25):
Calculating, calculating, calculating
Pinwheel.

Speaker 3 (37:32):
Okay, so we've got two missions.

Speaker 4 (37:35):
All right, I'm making a shopping list.
Anybody else need anything?
Okay, gram flour peas on us.

Speaker 5 (37:42):
Make sure rock has shoes on Rock, is it?
Yeah, yeah, yeah Okay.

Speaker 6 (37:48):
Don't forget the garana snacks.
Get us some garana snacks, yeah, some kiri chai would be great.

Speaker 3 (37:53):
Yeah, yes, that too, Okay, so we're going to have a
little bit of a snack.
Okay, so we're going to have alittle bit of a snack.

Speaker 4 (38:00):
Okay, so we're going to have a little bit of a snack.
Yeah, yes, that too.

Speaker 1 (38:04):
Also Ladoo, aunty has great standing in this town too
Exactly so she has a lot ofreputation, but we can.

Speaker 6 (38:09):
Oh, I can kind of take a cue from you, sitara, I'm
like do, do, do, do, do, do, doconnect.

Speaker 2 (38:15):
Yeah, that's working.
Does that look like?
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:19):
I think a glow-up is in order.
Oh my.

Speaker 6 (38:21):
God, can you give me a make-up?

Speaker 4 (38:24):
No, there's one thing I love it's a make-up from
Antoine.

Speaker 7 (38:33):
So maybe so, ladoo aunty, you can check with your
customers Now.
I have to keep an eye on them, see if there's anybody
suspicious.
Yeah, and.

Speaker 3 (38:43):
I'll go around selling like a weird person
outside of a concert.
If you will a bardicperformance going like hey, I've
got tickets.

Speaker 1 (38:54):
So you're going to sell, like, act like you're
selling some kind of crystalsand stuff.
Power sources yeah, okay, verygood.

Speaker 3 (39:01):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (39:01):
I think I can help you with that.
Oh, okay, and watch your back.
Oh, perfect, because I think ifyou're going to be hawking
wears, then you might beattracting some unsavory
customers.
Yeah, hopefully, yeah, fingerscrossed.

Speaker 7 (39:12):
I think we should go together and maybe you stay with
aunty.
Um, yes, yeah, I just I'mleaving her alone Absolutely.
And though we might need you to, those two are squishy.

Speaker 5 (39:27):
Um, oh, perhaps we can all stick together.

Speaker 7 (39:30):
What do you think, sol, could I tell you?

Speaker 5 (39:32):
I find that there are strengthened numbers and that
each of you has a part to play, just like in a performance that
complements one another.

Speaker 6 (39:41):
Except this time.
I'm the star right T-Tara.
Oh, today.
Oh, when your auntie decidesbeing on camera is fun, oh no.

Speaker 7 (39:51):
Oh, vanda's day.
Shoujo is just hiding under myskirt, right now no good luck.
He's pulled the cloth over hishead.

Speaker 3 (40:00):
No, she's got a karaoke microphone.
You're absolutely right.

Speaker 7 (40:02):
Maybe we could all, or some of us could pretend to
be buying stuff from you to makeit seem more.

Speaker 3 (40:08):
Yes, yes, okay, while I yeah, I'll just go up and
down the line a little bit.

Speaker 7 (40:13):
Do you need?
I have some.
I have a disguise kit, costumekit.
Would you like to use it?

Speaker 3 (40:18):
Maybe like a little mustache.
Well, I have one, but adifferent one.

Speaker 5 (40:24):
Do these agents know what you look like?

Speaker 7 (40:27):
We don't know, not to my knowledge.
We don't know who they are.

Speaker 1 (40:29):
Certainly no one would know me.

Speaker 7 (40:31):
Well, that's true, do you want to pretend to be me,
then Huh, that would ensure thatno one knows.
Right, because you might beknown.

Speaker 1 (40:40):
Yeah, okay, so then I pretend to be you Selling yeah
specific technical items.

Speaker 3 (40:46):
That's the safest bet People could recognize me.

Speaker 7 (40:49):
And people would definitely be recognized me.
But I can change that.

Speaker 3 (40:52):
Yeah, and everyone's going to recognize you.

Speaker 7 (40:54):
Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 1 (40:55):
Yeah, so I'm the guy that's selling the items.

Speaker 3 (40:58):
Yes, you're me.

Speaker 1 (41:00):
I'm you, yeah, and I'll be, you and you are you?
No, you're someone else, I'llbe someone else.

Speaker 7 (41:04):
It's called acting.
It's like this yes, okay, good, first you are, I just learned
how to be a doctor.
First you are acting with Ashto creative Ash, ash, ash, ash.
And suddenly it's I have thingsfor sale, ash.

Speaker 6 (41:20):
I know exactly what you're referencing.

Speaker 2 (41:23):
I'm asking you to say that I was getting much help
and someone would really.

Speaker 7 (41:25):
It's really wonderful acting advice from one of the
greats.

Speaker 1 (41:28):
Okay, I'll try it sure.

Speaker 4 (41:31):
Yeah and yes, and what's my?

Speaker 1 (41:33):
motivation.
Yeah, yes I learned a lot.
Yes, and I will do it.
Am I acting, yeah?

Speaker 2 (41:40):
exactly.
You patch your plans Perfect.

Speaker 6 (41:43):
That's so tight.
I'm glad you can come.

Speaker 7 (41:46):
That's the semblance of a plan, totally makes sense.

Speaker 2 (41:50):
And make your way into the market.

Speaker 7 (41:51):
Yeah, and I'm just going to change into someone
that I've seen walking around,ooh.

Speaker 6 (41:56):
Hello, anyone want laddus?
Free laddus sample.

Speaker 2 (42:00):
A lot of people get excited at seeing the real
laddouanti.
They've only seen theanimatronic Chuck E Cheese
version.

Speaker 6 (42:08):
Hello, yes, I'm the laddouanti.

Speaker 4 (42:10):
She's really hamming it up.

Speaker 6 (42:11):
She's got newfound confidence.

Speaker 2 (42:14):
She's loving the attention Behind you, whirring
away some distance.
Hello yes, hello yes.

Speaker 6 (42:20):
I don't even look or sound like that.

Speaker 1 (42:25):
I think maybe the people to look for, the ones
that are not excited aboutladdouanti, those are the folks
we should go up to.
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (42:33):
Yeah, so I'll do a quick perception check.

Speaker 6 (42:35):
Yeah, go ahead and give me a perception check.

Speaker 5 (42:36):
Okay, I'll also do a perception check Of course I'm
going to do insight and just beclocking the focus.

Speaker 7 (42:40):
Keep an eye out for everyone I'm going to second
that Cool.

Speaker 3 (42:46):
Oh, wisdom the second two 17.
, 17.

Speaker 2 (42:50):
13.
She knew.

Speaker 3 (42:55):
That's why you got to roll with Erica.

Speaker 6 (42:56):
Can I also do an arcana check, or is that
psychotic?

Speaker 2 (42:59):
No, you can.
Okay, cool.
What are you checking for?

Speaker 6 (43:01):
Well, because you said the people that we were
looking for might know or beusing arcana and things like
that, so I thought maybe itwould be helpful.
Yeah, traces on him.

Speaker 3 (43:10):
I don't know if I can persist with that.
I know we're stackingeverything, but I have the tech
magic on my eye patch so I willwhisper anything my perception.

Speaker 4 (43:17):
Yeah, I love that.

Speaker 3 (43:19):
Except with the tech magic to you for your arcana
check.

Speaker 5 (43:21):
I love that I'm 23 insight.
So anytime anybody points outsomething to me, I can just sort
of do a scan.
I'm very good at disowning howpeople are 23, 17.

Speaker 3 (43:36):
13.
13.
This party not great at hittinga mark, but when it's looking
out for people, yeah, true, Igot 16 perception, 8 arcana.
Well, you can do that you cando that.

Speaker 6 (43:48):
Oh my god, oh my god, that's what you said.
Yeah, okay, okay, okay, that'sgreat, shut up, shut up, shut up
.

Speaker 4 (43:52):
Everyone is shh Don't look, 18.

Speaker 7 (43:57):
Yay.

Speaker 6 (43:58):
Thank you, buddy.
Thanks for being famous, yeah.

Speaker 1 (44:03):
I only got to 12 for perception.

Speaker 2 (44:07):
You notice, you kind of like take in the market
around you the first thing, asyou're like kind of casting a
knowing eye over all of thesestalls, over the strong of
humanity coming here to payrespects at the summit of the
mountain, you notice thatthere's a lot of commotion

(44:27):
happening at Fatima's familiars.
Now, that might not necessarilybe anything going wrong, it's
just all kinds of squawking, allkinds of sounds, all kinds of
magical familiars.
It kind of sends your arcanalike eye going kind of a little
wild too, just because it's likea flood of magic coming out of
this shop in particular.

Speaker 3 (44:47):
Oh, Fatima.

Speaker 2 (44:48):
Yeah, yeah, you see a number of assorted stalls
selling everything from goodluck charms to tourists
souvenirs.
Your name on a grain of sandWow, that's a may chance, that's
like a tiny yeah that's what Iwas thinking but it's so small,

(45:12):
yeah, you see that you see thecast enlarge on the rice, right
it, and then it goes back tonormal and the rice is the same
size.
Oh, that's a good idea.

Speaker 3 (45:23):
Well, now that I've seen it, I'm much less impressed
.
Yeah, that's a good idea.

Speaker 1 (45:26):
It could have turned this tiny copper coin into
something that's flat and haslike a you know an emblem or a
book, don't be ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (45:36):
That's too crazy.
You see beautiful patternedglass lanterns.
You see flower shops sellingnot only necklaces of flowers
but flower arrangements.
You see a couple of shopsselling not led dues but tea.
You see an inn where people canstay bustling with people going
about their business, and yousee a couple of odds and end

(45:59):
shops.
You see one selling adventuringgear.
So they've got climbing items, things like that, stuff that
will in there would probablyfind very appealing if you want
to base, jump off the mountain.
And you also see a shop sellingsome, some jewelry, things like
that Blessings, arcane focuses.

(46:20):
You see shops kind of selling alot of, a lot of all these
different components.
With the insight check.
You see a very concernedlooking woman.
She has the same single thatyou saw on Nipdika's arm and she
is dressed in cleric garb, atiefling, her horns kind of

(46:42):
barely tucked under the hood ofa shawl that's wrapped around
her several times, her hooveseasily finding purchase on the
rocky ground.
As she moves around, you see astandard like in her hand of the
order that she is a part of andyou see her like kind of
nervously plucking at a mallaaround her neck, just kind of,

(47:05):
you know, saying like a littleprayer to herself as she
nervously, like, just flips thebeads around, the pearls around.

Speaker 5 (47:13):
What's the prayer for ?

Speaker 2 (47:15):
With that 23,.
You would you would glean thatshe is praying for protection.

Speaker 7 (47:24):
Since I'm I look like someone else, I'm going to go
up and shop.
Look at what she's looking.
What exactly is she looking at?

Speaker 2 (47:32):
She's like kind of hidden under an awning, like
she's trying to like hide underan awning or blend in in plain
sight, assassin's Creed style, where she's like kind of ducked
under the awning, has her hoodpulled close and is kind of like
she's not even looking atanything per se.
She's like gazing off into thedistance and just kind of like

(47:52):
absentmindedly clicking this, this, like malla, this rosary
around her neck.

Speaker 5 (47:58):
Perhaps just greatly go over and ask if she needs
anything.

Speaker 7 (48:04):
And there is stuff there that you look at like I
could be shopping.

Speaker 2 (48:07):
Yeah, she's in front of a store that sells glass
bangles.
They're just like lined upcolor coordinated vibgur.

Speaker 7 (48:16):
I have stepped behind her, changed into an old lady
and I come up to the person.
Oh, you're liking what you see.

Speaker 2 (48:31):
You say this to the woman, yeah, yeah, yeah, who
looks like this, by the way,Dude so cute.
Oh, yes, yes.

Speaker 7 (48:44):
Is there something here that you might want to try
on or do?
Oh, no, no, no.

Speaker 2 (48:50):
I'm just looking, it's fine.

Speaker 7 (48:51):
Perhaps you're looking for a different kind of
token and I'm going to cast atech thought.

Speaker 2 (49:00):
Oh, incredible.
I believe you get the firstsurface level thought, which is
he'll kill her.
She's going to roll a wisdomsave.
That is a 13.

Speaker 7 (49:19):
That is not enough to save.

Speaker 2 (49:22):
As you delve deeper into her thoughts, you hear her
say I have to stop him, but hehas her and he'll kill her.
I don't know what to do, solong guide me.

Speaker 7 (49:38):
What is your name?

Speaker 2 (49:41):
I'm sorry what.

Speaker 7 (49:42):
What is your name?

Speaker 2 (49:44):
Listen I.
What is your name?
Roll intimidate or persuasionif you're trying to scare her
into telling you her, channelyour inner on to you.

Speaker 7 (49:53):
No, I'm not trying to intimidate her.
I'm trying to convince her.
Each of them.

Speaker 2 (50:00):
Each of them Sonia, sonia.

Speaker 7 (50:08):
I think perhaps we might be looking for the same
thing.

Speaker 2 (50:15):
I don't think you can help me.

Speaker 7 (50:17):
I'm going to speak into her head, you can trust me,
and that's in my normal voice.
You can trust me.
I think we are both looking forthe same place, and I do am
looking for someone who is introuble.
They're all throughout themarket.
They're getting ready to strike.

(50:40):
Can you point them out to me?
I know what one of them is.
Tell me by the band.
The band as in the musical band.

Speaker 2 (50:55):
I saw them there.
They have my little sister.
They told me that if I doanything, if I say anything,
they'll kill her.

Speaker 7 (51:02):
Just go with me.
Oh, my back, would you, deargirl, would you please help me.
I need to get back to my home.

Speaker 2 (51:15):
She puts her hand on your back and tries to escort
you.

Speaker 7 (51:18):
Yeah, and then if we can walk by any of these guys on
our way out, I want to let themknow telepathically.
We need to go to the band.
We know that it is a.
I basically convey all of thisstuff Roll deception For
guidance.
What did you say?

Speaker 3 (51:42):
Yeah, just got this 16.

Speaker 2 (51:45):

You begin to make your waythroughout the stalls and as you
do, you hear a commotion behindyou Coming out of the familiar
shop, not the usual cacophony ofsquawks and squeals, but

(52:06):
something else.

Speaker 7 (52:08):
Can we just look and we see anything from William.

Speaker 2 (52:10):
Yes, as you're moving with Sonia through the street
stalls, something small andglobular comes bursting out of
the familiar shop doors With ahooded and robed, nefarious
looking creature chasing afterit.

(52:32):
Roll for initiative and we'regoing to get a set out here Whoa
, map, map, map, map, map mapmap, map, map, map, map map.

this sketch by the Get Brown.

Speaker 8 (53:27):
In Indian culture, the term Uncle or Aunty can be
used to address most adults as asign of respect.
Whether it's your mom's brother, a family friend or a stranger
selling mangoes on the street, uncle is always appropriate and
usually pays off.

Speaker 3 (53:45):
Mango $3.

Speaker 8 (53:47):
Excuse me, could I have a mango for $2?
No, please, uncle.
Okay, here you go.
Brita, thank you, and aStarbucks coffee, thanks, uncle.

Speaker 4 (55:15):

Speaker 2 (55:17):
That was many good things.
I think I did a total of two,and they're the ones that don't
look as good.
But, all the good ones weredone by the Roll for initiative.

Speaker 3 (55:26):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (55:29):
Okay 22.

Speaker 3 (55:33):
Oh, uh, nine.

Speaker 2 (55:34):
Anybody higher than a 10?
12.
Okay, four, are you all ready?

Speaker 3 (55:39):
Yep, let's do this.

Speaker 2 (55:40):
Are you all ready?

Speaker 3 (55:40):
for this.

Speaker 2 (55:41):
Bursting out of the familiar shop, chased by a half
serpentine figure wearing ahuman skull mask on his face,
cloaked in black, carrying twodaggers.
You see, you're gonna melt.
You're gonna melt when you seewhat comes out of this familiar
shop.
No, be-be-be-be-be-holder, no.

Speaker 6 (56:06):
What A child.
It is a child beholder.

Speaker 2 (56:12):
A baby being attacked by this man, this jerk Trying
to capture it, you jerk?

Speaker 7 (56:19):
No, he's a bad guy.
I don't like him, not on ourwatch.
He's the fairest looking.
Wait, where did they come outof the?
Shop the familiar shop whichone is the blue or the red the
blue, so they just ran right byus.

Speaker 2 (56:31):
Mm-hmm, it is the man saying anything or You'll have
to see what you can perceive.

Speaker 7 (56:39):
He just looks like a weirdo.

Speaker 2 (56:42):
Right.
You see this be-be trying toget away from this man.
The small beholder goeswobbling through the shop as it
does so go like oh no and goesfloating through one of the

(57:08):
stalls above your head, sitara, and you see this man slithering
up behind him as he does.
The entire marketplace explodesin pandemonium.
It goes forward from somewhereup the mountain.
It puts a sinking feeling intoyour stomach.

(57:29):
As the entire diba, the rockdiba, shutters Mm-hmm as it does
, the market explodes withpeople screaming, crying, all
kinds of chaos breaking loose atonce.
The dissonant whispersperforming in the Rangali

(57:51):
pavilion do their best toMaintain order as their
instruments start to come tolife.
Oh no.

Speaker 3 (58:00):
Oh, okay.

Speaker 2 (58:03):
And somewhere far up the mountain you hear
Psychically your patron Silsalonlet out a long and slow, as
though in great distress.
Baby goes first.

(58:26):
As this man reaches out, onedagger and tries to sort of grab
this baby with Like what looksto be less a dagger and more of
like a hook to grab it and kindof like Tame it like a very
cruel instrument known as anelephant hook, the baby, in a

(58:48):
panic, fires off one of its eyeray stalks.
Yes, I'm going to roll a d4.
Since it doesn't really havecontrol, since it is babby,
that's a three.
One, two, three.

(59:09):
It's going to hit Sonya oh butmaybe something good.

Speaker 6 (59:16):
Maybe with something good, like hit her with a like
kind of sick beat and Tony islike, hey, there's a realisation
of how awesome she is.

Speaker 2 (59:30):
And then only being able to use two eye rays instead
of three.
Since it is babby, the secondone is going to hit Sitara with
a two.

Speaker 1 (59:45):
Can I know what babby is?

Speaker 6 (59:47):
You're just saying it's a baby yeah.
Oh it's like a Q wave thing.

Speaker 5 (59:52):
You were like what is babby?
How is babby born?

Speaker 4 (59:57):
In five years.

Speaker 1 (59:59):
Babby is born.

Speaker 4 (01:00:02):
It's from Bretzel Ford.
Yeah, they don't have babbies.

Speaker 7 (01:00:06):
Right, okay, that's fantastic.

Speaker 2 (01:00:09):
It hits Sonya with a charm ray.
Oh no.

Speaker 6 (01:00:15):
Again, not the worst.

Speaker 2 (01:00:16):
She has to make a wisdom saving throw, or be
charmed by the baby beholder.
It's not terrible, she makesthe save.
It hits you, sitara, with thetelekinetic ray.
Give me a strength, saveGuidance.

Speaker 7 (01:00:31):
Can I guide saving throws or only regular throws?
No, okay, no guidance.
Strength save, strength, save.
That is not my strength.
Suit I'm gonna make it.

Speaker 2 (01:00:41):
The eye stock comes up, the cultist ducks underneath
it.
It hits you, throwing you 30feet back I believe that's into
the familiar shop.
As you collide with the door ofthe shop, you take six
bludgeoning damage, crashingthrough backwards.

(01:01:02):
The baby is then going to useits movement To move 20 feet
trying to get away from thisthing.
Five, 10, 15, 20.
It does get an op attack.
It misses Sitara.

(01:01:22):
Okay, dusting yourself off.
Surrounded in a shop of magicalfamiliars, you see the shop
keep distraught that the babybeholder has been stolen from
her.

Speaker 7 (01:01:36):
I'm gonna run out the door.
I'm going to get just back towhere I was.
I am going to Jotu and I'mgoing to cast Scorching Grey on
the dude with the skull.
Perfect 12 plus 7, 19.
17.

(01:01:59):
And no.

Speaker 2 (01:02:02):
Two hits roll damage.
First one is 11.

Speaker 7 (01:02:10):
Second one, e, e, is 7.
And when I do, I just want togo up on top of each other, so I
get them stacked on him, ohcool.

Speaker 3 (01:02:22):
At the same time just .

Speaker 2 (01:02:23):
The two Scorching Rays go out, both of them
colliding with this being.
You see some of the black robeskind of go up in flames as both
of your attacks hit.

Speaker 7 (01:02:41):
Would you like to do anything else?
I already did everything I can,so now Jotu goes.
How close am I?
Are we to?

Speaker 2 (01:02:49):
the dooter.
You are about 10 feet 10 feet,so he can't.
Am I correct 10 feet?

Speaker 1 (01:02:56):
I'm gonna say you're correct.

Speaker 2 (01:02:58):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (01:02:58):
I'm gonna have Jotu actually climb up one of the
stalls, however high up he canget, and then throw a flaming
furball.
Okay, yeah, flames seam Roll tohit he goes.
Ah, ah, ah, ah, he does not hit, all right.

Speaker 2 (01:03:19):
Ash, you are up.
You see this pandemonium breakout some distance ahead of you.

Speaker 1 (01:03:27):
Is this the only suspicious man that we see?

Speaker 2 (01:03:31):
Give me a perception.
Check he looks suspicious.

Speaker 3 (01:03:34):
no, he's chasing a baby, oh look at all in black.

Speaker 7 (01:03:36):
those are skulls.
I love that one.
He's chasing a baby.
I mean it's a baby beholder,but he's chasing a baby 14.

Speaker 2 (01:03:45):
With a 14, that is the only suspicious man you see.

Speaker 1 (01:03:50):
Okay, and you're pretty badly hurt yeah.
Yes, he is Are you playing itcool, don't worry about me.
Don't worry about me.

Speaker 7 (01:03:58):
Fix him, fix him, no I.

Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
Is it possible that I can clamber over?

Speaker 2 (01:04:03):
to this.
I'm going to take you quite abit of movement because you can
move half your movement speed toclimb.
These are about 15 feet high.

Speaker 3 (01:04:15):
Okay, you can get to the bottom of the roof.

Speaker 2 (01:04:18):
Yeah, they're 10 to 15 feet high.

Speaker 1 (01:04:20):
Okay, because I'm quite you can go through an
alley.

Speaker 2 (01:04:23):
Yeah, you can attempt .
If you want to use youracrobatics, you can attempt to
find a way through the stalls.

Speaker 1 (01:04:29):
Okay, I'll do that.
Okay, Come on tail, come onpunch.

Speaker 7 (01:04:33):
I mean seriously stop with the digital eyes, okay?
It never goes well for you.

Speaker 1 (01:04:36):
I got a nine.

Speaker 2 (01:04:38):
You get a nine, not bad, as you move through those
barrels.

Speaker 6 (01:04:44):
Mm-mm.
Somebody in those fuckingbarrels.

Speaker 7 (01:04:46):
That was a lot faster than I mentioned I could come
out.
I just felt bad for you.
Does a 24 hit?
Oh no, Just play a little bit.
Okay.
Okay, you take.

Speaker 2 (01:04:55):
Cool, excellent.
Seven bludgeoning damage andyou are grappled.

Speaker 3 (01:05:04):
Whoa, what's going on ?

Speaker 2 (01:05:05):

Someone is One of the barrels.
Come to life.
Oh for mimic.
Wait, you just put that.
Oh, you want me to help you now?
Yes, please?

Speaker 5 (01:05:17):
How does it make a deal, shall we?

Speaker 2 (01:05:20):
I'm like, I'm like here is as you, yeah, as you
leap over these barrels, it'llbe behind you so light, like
kind of.
You see those barrels youleaped over yeah, it was one of
them, so it would be like.
It's like I'm like here, yeah,in that little alleyway, stop it
, and then you are adhered to,so you are grappled by it.
Right, that's?
You know what?
That's perfect, that's prettyexcellent.

Speaker 7 (01:05:39):
Yeah, it's all done.

Speaker 2 (01:05:40):
That's some so as you leap over these barrels and
crates and you make your waythrough this storage area, one
of them comes to life and grabsyou Cool.

Speaker 4 (01:05:53):
There's the.

Speaker 2 (01:05:54):
You see the sort of the store keep of the stall,
fighting off another one ofthese as another rush of
negative energy falls over themarketplace.
Oh, okay, not great, that wasyour movement.

Speaker 3 (01:06:05):
Okay, there's still an action.

Speaker 2 (01:06:09):
You can use your action, I believe, to try to get
away from this.

Speaker 1 (01:06:15):
To just get out of the grapple.
Yeah, okay, yeah, I will do so.

Speaker 2 (01:06:20):
Ability checks made to escape this grapple.
Do have this advantage.

Speaker 1 (01:06:25):
Okay, can I use acrobatics Trying to get my?

Speaker 2 (01:06:28):
weight weasel my way out.
Yeah, you can use either a decksave or a strength save to try
to get out.
Oh, I see.

Speaker 1 (01:06:35):
Okay, I'll use a deck save for sure yeah.
Trying to get slippery?
Okay, we have disadvantage.

Speaker 2 (01:06:40):
Roll twice and take the lower.

Speaker 1 (01:06:42):
I'm just going to roll them together.
Here we go.
You got it.
You got it.
So a nat 20.

Speaker 6 (01:06:47):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (01:06:49):
And another nat 20 and a 10.
So what plus four, 14?
.

Speaker 2 (01:06:54):
You are still grappled by the creature.
Come on, I'm a little Wait.
Would you say 14?
Yeah, you are able to get out.
Meets it, meets it, meets it.
Yeah, you are able to.
It was only at 13,.

Speaker 3 (01:07:06):
Yeah, oh, beats it, beats it, so you are able to
pull your foot out of this long, wet, velvet tongue that feels
like it's just kind of velcroedonto you and you are just able
to gain your freedom.

Speaker 2 (01:07:20):
That is going to take .
You have your bonus action.
I believe that's it.

Speaker 1 (01:07:23):
And my bonus action.
Thank you for the foot scrub, yeah.
And then for my bonus action.
I'd like to healing word mybuddy over here.

Speaker 4 (01:07:33):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:07:33):
More cup.

Speaker 4 (01:07:35):
All right, what about ?

Speaker 1 (01:07:38):
Two, that's two.
You get my friend 11 points ofdamage.

Speaker 7 (01:07:44):
Really, oh done, all right, all right, back in the
game.
Sound very exciting.
Back in the game.
One more goes back you healed.

Speaker 1 (01:07:53):
You're done healed.

Speaker 3 (01:07:54):
So you hop over a fence, you duck down, you start
to get eaten by a barrel whichyou kind of just kick off, and
then you talk to me and then Iput a bandit on you.

Speaker 6 (01:08:02):
Yeah, insane.

Speaker 7 (01:08:04):
That's a pretty rock star move.
Thanks, Ash Okay.

Speaker 3 (01:08:07):
This one's turn.

Speaker 7 (01:08:07):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (01:08:07):
No, no, no I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (01:08:19):
It has a reach of 10 feet.
It's going to reach towards you.
Since you burned it.
Does a 16 hit?
Yeah, 167 plus four 11bludgeoning damage and you are
constricted as it takes thelower half of its body and wraps

(01:08:41):
it around you.

Speaker 4 (01:08:43):
You are grappled.

Speaker 2 (01:08:48):
Then, from somewhere in the market, you hear a
profane ritual being conducted.
Another negative energy floodbursts out over the market.
You hear, from somewherefurther in, things begin to come
alive as more sort of arcaneoverspill or arcane flux.

(01:09:15):
Chaos bursts out into themarket.
You hear the cries of peoplerunning of dishes, shattering of
carts being overturned, asthese words echo that you cannot
ascertain from whence they arecoming.
Once again, you hear this callof Silsalon crying out in pain,

(01:09:37):
as somewhere in the market adark ritual continues to be
conducted.

Speaker 7 (01:09:43):
We don't.
Yeah, there's no way for us tofigure out where it's coming
from.

Speaker 5 (01:09:47):
Nuri, I close my eyes .
I can hear my patrons call forhelp.
So much going on, so muchconfusion, so much distraction,
so much chaos.
But I am about control and itclosed my eyes and I focus in on
where the calls are coming from.

Speaker 2 (01:10:06):
Are you using your card Very well.
As you hold out this card andfocus, the market begins to
disappear from view.
Your eyes are flooded by steam, comforting steam, warm steam,

(01:10:27):
whisking you away to a paralleldimension.
Will you join me in the teakettle?
As the steam clouds part, youfind yourself in a room full of

(01:10:56):
thick tapestries blotting outthe windows.
You see tufted velvet furniturearound you and you see an
entity with purple skin, longhair that gently kind of takes
life, grabbing cups from thewalls and Pouring you a cup of

(01:11:16):
tea.
Her eyes, a deep purple color, look like a kettle about to come
to a boil and she regards you, taking you in for a moment
before she says oh.

Speaker 5 (01:11:34):
You're a rather odd little creature, aren't you?

Speaker 2 (01:11:39):
hello, my name is Nori oh, my name is new in oh
Well, it's a pleasure to meetyou.

Speaker 5 (01:11:50):
I thought that you were in the desert.
Yes, if I have my storiescorrect, that was a long time
ago.

Speaker 2 (01:12:00):
I see I've since retired.

Speaker 5 (01:12:07):
Well, may I ask how I ended up here?

Speaker 4 (01:12:11):
ah.

Speaker 2 (01:12:15):
My frequent flyer card.

Speaker 5 (01:12:18):
A gift did I fly here ?
Yes, fascinating safe.

Speaker 2 (01:12:27):
I Provide shelter to those who need it, to those in
need, and sometimes, if they areto redeem a boon, depending on
what they ask, I can help them.
It looks like you only have oneleft, so I suppose you'll have

(01:12:51):
to choose very wisely.
How can I help you child?

Speaker 5 (01:12:57):
Well, I'm not sure if you're abreast of the current
events in the world of mortals, but Sylph Alon has disappeared.
She's in pain and unable toescape.
Come down the mountain toperform the ritual, to allow the
crops to how to to to flourishand the people to thrive.
Hmm, I don't know if you canhelp with that tall of an order,

(01:13:21):
or if this is somethingredeemable for a smaller boom,
such as finding those that arecausing her this pain ah.

Speaker 2 (01:13:36):
I recently reacquired the sensation of rage.
Sometimes I think, now that Ican feel it again, I can sense
it in others.
Tell me, are you angry?

Speaker 5 (01:13:58):
I've check in for a moment on my feelings.
I'm used to being able tocompartmentalize them Extremely
well.
I think they're going to beable to do something about it.
Well, I think that if Just amoment I sort of sidle up to one
of the cushions and I Sit down, yes, I'm a little angry.

(01:14:19):
I See so much that is unfair inthis world.
I see so much that is ignored, and why Would anybody try to

(01:14:39):
Trap a goddess and Inhibit thewell-being of a whole entire
world?
And then why can't people everjust Drink the rest of their
drinks or at least throw, throwthem away?
Or I Constantly having to getnew mugs of chai for everyone?

(01:15:04):
Yes, I'm angry.

Speaker 2 (01:15:08):
You should be.
Give me a wisdom save.

Speaker 5 (01:15:20):
And then plus three, I believe so 18, 18, sorry,
sorry.
No, that was good like duringthat one moment of Panic, my
hair flares up and is like, yeah, true flame, and it's still
blue because of the copperypatina, but it's it's licking

(01:15:40):
and and and leaping and thensuddenly it's very smooth again
and it looks once again like aperfect welding torch.

Speaker 2 (01:15:50):
You see her hair come alive as she Gently kind of
adjusts your clothing, Takes astray you know bit of flame and
smooths it with her hair.
She gently offers you a cup ofchai and says those that care

(01:16:10):
for others seldom take good careof themselves.

Speaker 5 (01:16:15):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (01:16:22):
You have expressed your rage in a healthy fashion.
That's good and thereby youfeel, release.
I Will give you what you seek, your target.
But you must promise mesomething this warship, or ever
con you, will destroy him.

Speaker 5 (01:16:46):
Utterly.
Is that a request made out ofanger or out of care for others?
Both well, I hope you'reenjoying your retirement and
trying to there.

Speaker 2 (01:17:08):
When you return to your friends, you will see him.
This I promise you good luck.
Thank you and you rejoin theland of the living.

Speaker 5 (01:17:25):
Oh my god, that was so cool.

Speaker 3 (01:17:28):
Well, I would love to know.

Speaker 2 (01:17:33):
You are not Inflicted with the enraged conditions,
since you were able to keep yourwits about you, and you know
that here a profane ritual isbeing conducted.
You can see clearly outlined inSteam, like you can see it like

(01:17:57):
x-ray vision through objects, through everything just Outlined
in your eye line and pure whitesteam.

Speaker 5 (01:18:09):
He's there, he's over there, and I give the exact
coordinates and names of crossstreets.

Speaker 2 (01:18:18):
Would you like to use your movement, your action or
your bonus action?

Speaker 5 (01:18:21):
I can see him.
Yes, yes, I Misty, step towardshim, perfect.
And then I point out toeveryone he's there and I Use my
bonus action for hex bladecurse.

Speaker 2 (01:18:39):
Yes, All right all right there, by cursing him yes,
perfect.

Speaker 3 (01:18:47):
Marca, I see you just boom onto the rooftop right
there and get an idea and gocopy.
I still have expeditiousretreat on me from when I was
From one what.
I was worried you were gonna hitme, so I'm going to actually
use that to.
I'm gonna grab my cannon andI'm gonna hop over the stall,

(01:19:10):
like I'm gonna use my speed tolike, get over and get a bead on
this person.
Of course, my movement, so I'mnow on the other side.
Sorry, ash, good luck.
I Land here, mm-hmm.
Having now known where thegentleman is, my cannon, though
stick.
I dropped my cannon off at thetop of the roof.
Okay, right here, mm-hmm, Iland.
And this person is hexed.

(01:19:31):
Currently leaves persons cursed, right?
Yes, wonderful, I'm going tocast grease.
I'm going to blast grease frommy coat Through, like whatever
this like little plant stall isonto that person.
They need to make a dex 14 ortheir problem.

Speaker 2 (01:19:51):
Perfect, you said dex 13, dex 14, 14.
That's an 11 no.

Speaker 3 (01:19:59):
So now they're slippy slidey, covered in grease as I
look up to my flamethrowercannon, light them up.
Alright that's going to be adex 14 again.

Speaker 2 (01:20:18):
Yeah, but they're prone, so With the prone
condition their only movementoption is to crawl.
They have disadvantage onattack rolls, but I do think
they can make a dex save asnormal.

Speaker 3 (01:20:36):
Okay, till like.

Speaker 5 (01:20:39):
Yeah, the rules for a little weird but he is hex.

Speaker 2 (01:20:41):
What is your hex?
Blades cursed you.

Speaker 5 (01:20:43):
Yeah, you gain plus three bonus to damage rolls and
score critical hit on a roll of1920.
Okay, and regain 10 HP.

Speaker 2 (01:20:51):
Okay, so I think the curse doesn't affect it, so
they'll just be rolling theirdex, save as normal, although 21
.
That'll do it as they'reslipping and sliding their
serpentine tail, kicking outbehind them, the flamethrower
Goes wide.
However, we will say that thegrease can catch fire.

Speaker 4 (01:21:13):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (01:21:15):
So go ahead and roll 1d6.
Flame damage regardless.
It's four, hey four.
Just do anything else on yourturn that's it.

Speaker 3 (01:21:26):
I believe that's all I got.

Speaker 5 (01:21:30):
It is a pretty good turn.

Speaker 2 (01:21:31):
Well played.
Okay, it is Sonya's turn.
She is going to summon herhealing spirit on to you, her
friend as you're.
You're standing there, you seea small bird Land on your

(01:21:53):
shoulder like a pheasant and itbegins to heal you.
Now, the first time on yourturn, you will heal, and Then
that will be her turn.
She is actually gonna use heraction to move Forward towards
the baby beholder.

Speaker 6 (01:22:12):
No, it's this one here, yeah, but I do wonder who
that is.

Speaker 2 (01:22:16):
That's your rival From the ship.
That's her.
When you ask for a businesscard, yeah yeah, Lily.
Okay, how far are you gone?
She's moving 20 feet as shetries to look for her little
sister, and that is Sonya's turn.

(01:22:39):
Let's do, auntie, you're up.

Speaker 6 (01:22:41):
Yeah, yeah, okay.
So I think led to auntie seesthat morca's got our that little
freak over there and kind ofHandled she's gonna try to help
ash with this barrel.
Let's see how far away I amfrom ash and the barrel guy.

Speaker 2 (01:23:03):
Oh, you're like 15 feet away.

Speaker 6 (01:23:05):
You're very close great, so I can use my weapons
within range.
Okay, great, so I'm gonnaattack the barrel.
Go for it.
Okay, wait, may I Rage?

Speaker 4 (01:23:23):
Oh, you do not see an angry auntie.

Speaker 7 (01:23:26):
You, none of you, have ever seen me angry.

Speaker 6 (01:23:34):
No, that wasn't anger .
I was speaking loudly, it'sdifferent.

Speaker 5 (01:23:39):
It's different.
This is Ray cuz final form.

Speaker 6 (01:23:42):
She's known for playing barbarian I know, I have
to stop playing barbariansafter this.
Um, okay, we're gazing into thefuture.
So I will attack with my handox a 23 to head.

Speaker 4 (01:23:58):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (01:23:59):
Oh, you don't take that barrel, and then I roll
Eight.
Damage is that with your ragedamage your additional rage
damage.
And what could that mean, jasmine, to me?
What should that?
Um, while you're, raging.
Oh, I add, I add um To meleedamage yes.
Yes, so that's a tech, that's atime that's your first attack

(01:24:24):
go ahead and roll your second.
Okay, and I do the same thing.
Are you just slapping thisthing?
Yeah, I'll give you some sauceon that.
So I just hold 24 to hit thathit, that's a hit.
So as I'm doing this, I seethis barrel Attacking my nephew.
Basically my poor,simple-minded.
From the strange land of paleskin, strip people.

(01:24:51):
And I say the only person thatcan hit my nephew is me.
This barrel said 24 to hit, sothen damage is Is Eight Plus two
, yeah, that was with the plustwo.

Speaker 2 (01:25:12):
With the plus two, a pretty hefty blow, as, as auntie
strikes this thing, you noticelike the mimics like Form, shift
, like putty a few times, as sheactually leaves dense in the
top of this chest shaped mimicWith her grievous blows.

(01:25:32):
That's your action, your bonusaction and I believe it's your
movement, gorgeous, amazing.
Then it's Baby behold.
These turn.
Bb is still scared and is gonnamove towards Merca.
Seeing butch out there, seeinganother baby.
Yeah, seeing butch.

(01:26:01):
Ah, yeah, the baby beholdermoves forward and says I'm just
much the how much you are, comeon, I'm just ready.

Speaker 5 (01:26:17):
How many?
You are just buddy.

Speaker 6 (01:26:18):
I'm just buddy, I'm just buddy.

Speaker 2 (01:26:29):
To butcha and since he's, let's see, make a.
Make a persuasion check withbutcha stats to see if you can
calm him down so his eye stocksdon't go off this turn cool

(01:26:51):
Persuasion is going to be off ofcharisma.

Speaker 3 (01:26:54):
It's a negative two.

Speaker 2 (01:26:59):
Yeah, as the baby beholder bobbles forward, butcha
goes, threat detected, threatdetected, and the beholder gets
a little scared, fighting itsbottom lip, hiding it's once
smiling.
It has like one tooth actually,if you look at the mini.
The smile instead turns into afrown.

(01:27:21):
One big teardrop begins to format the edge of its eye and, in
a fear, the eye stocks go offagain.
It can hit one, one, two, yeahone two.
Three for Sonia, four for thebad guy, five, roll a d6.

(01:27:46):
If it's a six, it hits no oneroll play.
To Just to, and a four, sorry,so so is it's a bad guy.
The first eye stock goes wide.
The second one shoots backstraight towards the bad guy.

Speaker 1 (01:28:11):
I'm just gonna say that as a father of a three and
a half year old, who alsodoesn't get along with kids that
are younger, yeah just totallytracks.

Speaker 2 (01:28:20):
Oh yeah, they are affected by the slowing rate.
They have to succeed on a.
They make their dexay, sothey're fine.
Boo yeah, the eye stock centerson this Naga creature and it

(01:28:44):
begins to slow it.
But then it breaks free with an18 on the diro and that is baby
.
Behold these turn baby.
Baby, behold the in the deepblue sea.

Speaker 4 (01:29:01):
Slim, so wild you son so free Sorry.

Speaker 7 (01:29:05):
Okay, I'm sorry of your turn.
You heal a hill, oh one d6.

Speaker 2 (01:29:10):
No, you heal.
2d6, as the pheasant on yourshoulder showers you in healing
energy.

Speaker 7 (01:29:21):
Oh, thank you very much.
That's much better.
Okay, question Mm-hmm.
I am Grapple, right, yes, okay,am I my grapple like this?
Can I do this with my hands, oram I completely on my hands,
remotely free?

Speaker 2 (01:29:37):
Um, let me see so.
You, when you're grappled, youbecome incapacitated, which
means you can't take actions orreaction.
Okay, in that case I'll try toget out of it.
You can't?

Speaker 7 (01:29:47):
yes, yes, there's so many choices of dice, 13 plus, I
think, one.
Its strength, or what is it?
Strength or decks?
I will definitely take decks.
Uh, what was it?

Speaker 2 (01:30:05):
15.
That is enough.
Yeah, you are able to slide outof its tail and regain your
freedom.

Speaker 7 (01:30:13):
You are no longer incapacitated was that and
that's an action.
That's right.
So I have a bonus action andmovement great.

Speaker 2 (01:30:20):
Well, you make the attempt at the end of your turn,
I believe.

Speaker 7 (01:30:26):
So that's it all I can do is get out.
I think so.
I think, okay, the question onthe map.
The way we are now, I'm prettyfar away from him.
Yeah, is that accurate?

Speaker 4 (01:30:34):
He has really long.

Speaker 2 (01:30:35):
Okay, he has really long reach.
Okay in that case.
But if you were to move awayfrom him, that would not provoke
an op attack, since you're notengaged in melee so.

Speaker 7 (01:30:44):
So Show two has move and action as well.
Yes, excellent.
I mean, have Cho to come to me,jump in my arms and hug me, and
we're going to.

Speaker 2 (01:30:58):
Into a 15 feet.

Speaker 7 (01:30:59):
Put me 15 feet over back way.
Yes, madam.

Speaker 2 (01:31:06):
You're like our mini butler, cuz you're the only one.

Speaker 7 (01:31:11):
Yeah, I think I want to be on the roof, yeah you can
do that.

Speaker 2 (01:31:13):
Yeah, he can teleport yeah, so here, what does that
seem right?

Speaker 7 (01:31:17):
That's right, that's right, yeah, I just want to get
somewhere out of that.

Speaker 2 (01:31:26):
I think.
What is the radius on ChoChoo's fiery teleport?
It's five feet, so okay, so heis out of reach of the.

Speaker 7 (01:31:35):
Hoping that he was in reach, but that's okay.
He got me out of the way yeahrole for Cho Choo.

Speaker 2 (01:31:40):
Is that Cho Choo's full action?
Mm-hmm, okay, perfect.
With that, it is your turn, ash.

Speaker 1 (01:31:46):
Okay, I think I'm gonna hop up here, because that
should be my movement, yeah okay, perfect, and then does a,
because I'll provoke an opattack on what?
On the?

Speaker 2 (01:32:01):
mimic.
The mimic gets to hit youbecause you're leaving its melee
attack range.

Speaker 1 (01:32:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:32:11):
So that's a bite, does a 17 hit?
I've I've an AC of 17, meets it, beats it so you take Six
piercing damage and five aciddamage as it, it manages to bite

(01:32:36):
into you just as you'rereaching its range and you're
able to climb up on to the topof this shop roof, safely out of
its grasp, but a little bitworse for the wear that's your
movement.
What would you like to do withyour action and bonus action?

Speaker 1 (01:32:50):
Do I have the line of sight on?

Speaker 2 (01:32:52):
Yes the baddie I would say it does still have
partial cover, but you are ableto attack it.
I'm gonna be generous with thatone.
We're not using Warhammer rules.

Speaker 4 (01:33:02):
Great well, then I will.

Speaker 1 (01:33:05):
I will go ahead and cast Fire.
A fire bolt, 19 to hit, thathits roll, that's seven fire
damage seven fire damage and mybonus action I'm gonna heal
myself with the healing word I'mgonna give myself Cuz I'm

(01:33:32):
hurting guys.
Four plus a 12.

Speaker 2 (01:33:39):
Then it is the cultists turn all right.
So the first one is going toMerca what up, make a wisdom
saving throw oh.

Speaker 3 (01:33:56):
With my negative two.
For those of you have a deity, pray for me.

Speaker 2 (01:34:06):
11 you are turned into a tiny snake.
The other one is gonna use thisaction to stand up from the
prone condition.
Technically, I should have madeyou roll with disadvantage, but
I forgot.
That's fine, um.
So he stands up from the pronecondition and that is gonna be

(01:34:30):
his turn.
He's going to attempt to move.
Well, the grease was burned up,so he is going to move out Away
from the partial cover intofull cover.
This way, the other one willmove oh no.
I drop an old lady over.

Speaker 7 (01:34:51):
Why would you do such a?

Speaker 2 (01:34:51):
thing.
The other one is going to movetowards the baby.
Mmm so near get it 40.
But he can't grab him on thisturn since he used his action to
polymorph.
This time you don't feel anegative energy flood.

Speaker 7 (01:35:10):
Mm-hmm, because he couldn't do it.
Wouldn't do it, noory.

Speaker 5 (01:35:15):
Get him, get him, get him.
All right, Get him, get him,get him.
I move up To right, to therooftop, right above the cultus,
yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:35:24):
To assist him in the cultus.

Speaker 5 (01:35:25):
Do you love her, this one or this one that?

Speaker 2 (01:35:27):
one Perfect.
As you move forward, actuallygive me a perception check.

Speaker 5 (01:35:34):
Oh 18 on the dive.

Speaker 6 (01:35:37):
But I think there's plus.

Speaker 5 (01:35:38):
That's a dirty 20.
You did.

Speaker 2 (01:35:41):
Yeah, you see the dissonant whispers nearby trying
to play their music, but one oftheir spare instruments has
come to life and is attackingthem.
It occurs to you that if youcould aid them, they might be
able to help you back.
Oh, Just because you're on therooftop and you can see them so

(01:36:03):
clearly from around.
That's true.
Are you on?

Speaker 5 (01:36:06):
All right, I reach forward with both hands, I
extend them and one eldritchblast slams towards the
instruments that I see come tolife.
Yeah, roll to hit, roll to hit, damn it 14.

Speaker 2 (01:36:26):
That's a hit, oh we did it Nice.

Speaker 5 (01:36:30):
So, and then that's 12.
12.
Whoa.

Speaker 6 (01:36:35):
It's a force damage.

Speaker 5 (01:36:37):
Where is the?

Speaker 2 (01:36:37):
instrument, by the way, it's like in their spare
equipment.
It was like trying to attackthem.

Speaker 5 (01:36:43):
All right, it's force damage and it pushes Ah.

Speaker 3 (01:36:52):
Goodbye, Dobblah yeah .

Speaker 2 (01:36:54):
Yeah, as your eldritch blasts smacks into this
harmonium, the keys go flyingand it is pushed back.

Speaker 6 (01:37:03):
Oh, I don't like harmoniums as it hits.

Speaker 2 (01:37:07):
Yeah, honestly, this is.
It doesn't have any hit points.
So as you send it flyingbackwards into, like this, pile
of pots, it shatters and fallsto the ground, lifeless, no
longer animated.
Hell yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:37:22):
All right, musicians, the coordinates at second and
central street.
This is called from themusicians.
Did you only have one eldritchblast?
No, I do have the second oneand the second one going to
attempt to push it into the baby.
To push 12.

Speaker 2 (01:37:43):
A 12, I believe, misses it.
Does you still have your bonusaction?

Speaker 5 (01:37:48):
I do have my bonus action, all right.
So I fire off one and take outthe harmonium.
Call the musicians, reach outthe.
Unfortunately, the eldritchblast to the man right in front
of me does not quite work, so Iextend my hand and a blade of

(01:38:13):
fire swivels out from a sleeve.
Oh, and it looks like a bright.
It looks like a bright bluescimitar.

Speaker 2 (01:38:26):
Oh, beautiful.

Speaker 6 (01:38:27):
I don't know much about that part.
We're mostly with winkies, it'sjust oh.

Speaker 2 (01:38:31):
Look at that.
At the end of your turn, dissonant whispers will now
start playing yes, as the grouppicks up their song, they impart
you all, since there's three ofthem with an inspiration die.
So they've got three to giveout.

(01:38:52):
It'll go to the three closest,so it'll be Ash, merca, who's a
snake, and and and this die.
This inspiration die is a bitunique, since it's the College
of Valor Whoa.
Go on.
So you can use this inspirationdie in two ways.

(01:39:13):
You can either use it in thetraditional Bartik inspiration
way, so when you're making anattack, you can add that
inspiration to your world tohelp buff it, or when you take
an attack, you can add it toyour AC.
Three of you get this, three ofyou that are closest.
So Ash Nuri, merca, you areinfused with this Bartik

(01:39:34):
inspiration.
Die, merca, you are a snake.

Speaker 3 (01:39:37):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (01:39:39):
I think you just had the stat block of a snake.
Now you can't speak, castspells or take any other action
that requires hands or speech.
You are just a tiny snake.

Speaker 3 (01:39:51):
Now here's a question Mm-hmm, I can cast spells
through Butcha normally.
Mm-hmm, as a snake, would I beable to cast spells through
Butcha?

Speaker 2 (01:40:03):
That's a good question.
It says the target's gear meldsinto the new form.
The target can't activate, use, wield or otherwise benefit from
any of its equipment.
Does Butcha count as anequipment Butcha?

Speaker 6 (01:40:16):
is a solid snake.
I think.
Butcha would not like to be asolid equipment.

Speaker 7 (01:40:20):
Butcha is not an equipment.

Speaker 4 (01:40:21):
He's a child.

Speaker 7 (01:40:22):
He's just like this baby-be-be-holder.

Speaker 4 (01:40:23):
He's just a child.

Speaker 2 (01:40:25):
Okay, you know what, you know what I'll allow you to,
but your mental ability scoresare replaced by the statistics
of a tiny snake.

Speaker 3 (01:40:39):
Great, so it's gonna be an improvement.

Speaker 6 (01:40:42):
Oh great, smarter now I'm smarter and hotter now Okay
okay, this could be a hotlittle snake.

Speaker 2 (01:40:49):
So that may affect your damage Total 10.

Speaker 3 (01:40:52):
One improvement.
I have a little tie.

Speaker 2 (01:40:55):
Yeah, yeah, you're just like this little itty-bitty
poisonous snake.

Speaker 7 (01:40:59):
Amazing.

Speaker 6 (01:41:00):
Oh and poisonous.
Yeah Ooh, it's a strange thing.
What's his movement speed?

Speaker 2 (01:41:06):
His movement speed is 30 feet.
You can swim 30 feet as well.

Speaker 3 (01:41:11):
Well, why don't I?
Okay, because Buccia can alsoact on a bonus action, and we
would have totally set up likehey, if I'm ever turned into a
snake, here's what you should do.

Speaker 5 (01:41:21):
Ha, ha, ha ha.
It's just like you tell yourkid, you know when you're if I
can't pick you up.

Speaker 6 (01:41:27):
If I was your worm, that's right.
Okay, snake more active, Allright, so what do you do?

Speaker 3 (01:41:33):
I'm gonna go bite the uh, the uh.
Yeah, I'm gonna go.
Yeah, I'm a little snake.
I'm gonna go bite the othersnake.
I'm gonna bite the big snake.
Okay, and try to go for alittle venomous bite.

Speaker 2 (01:41:46):
Roll to hit, you have a plus five and you have a
reach of five feet.
Uh, If you want to use it, youhave the answer.

Speaker 7 (01:41:52):
They're not immune to the.
I'm telling you yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
yeah, yeah yeah let's do this D8too.

Speaker 2 (01:41:56):
Okay, yeah, it's a hit yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:41:59):
Ha, ha ha, that's well, oh wait, no seven 17.

Speaker 2 (01:42:03):
17, that hit.
What's my damage?
Dang it, you deal one piercingdamage automatically and then
the target must make a DC 10 consave or take poison damage.
Um, however, this thing isimmune to being poisoned yeah

Speaker 1 (01:42:19):
you can't be poisoned Because you use the same thing
Can't be poisoned by their owngoo, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:42:23):
So you kind of just bit it and it's, you heard it
like a little.
That's so funny.
Okay, I can't.

Speaker 6 (01:42:30):
I can't, I can't.
Would, it be like givingsomeone more blood or something.

Speaker 3 (01:42:34):
Like a blood transfusion.
Merca doesn't know this, solike I bite, and then I'm just
like as the snake, I'm just likeha ha, ha Ha ha, ha, ha Ha ha,
ha ha.

Speaker 7 (01:42:45):
Maybe it's like you just hook it in its mouth.
Such a hot mess.

Speaker 3 (01:42:48):
Um, and whereas Bacha is going to cast, eat metal,
making the occultist drop thealcohol, oh Ooh, or at least
drop it or keep getting hurt.

Speaker 2 (01:43:04):
All right, I think it makes a con save 14.
Have a plus three to con 13.
Damn.

Speaker 3 (01:43:13):
If it doesn't beat it , it doesn't beat it.

Speaker 6 (01:43:16):
Right, don't beat it, luzi.

Speaker 2 (01:43:18):
Yeah, it's a drop this dagger that it's holding to
the ground.
Oh, is that your turn?

Speaker 3 (01:43:27):
Yeah, and then takes the two D8 damage.
Yes, the two D8 damage.
Okay, it's gonna be three pluseight 11.

Speaker 5 (01:43:33):
We're done.
Good job, Bacha For 11 damage.
I love Bacha.

Speaker 1 (01:43:39):
Bacha, bacha, you're a real boy.

Speaker 3 (01:43:42):
And then I wait patiently for the bigger snake
to die of poison.

Speaker 2 (01:43:47):
Ha ha ha.
Please, I got you.
We're gonna be waiting for awhile, all day.
Hey, it is Sonia's turn.
I think Sonia is going tocontinue looking for her sister.
Yeah, poor baby.
Yeah, she's gonna move ontothis rooftop and try to get a

(01:44:08):
vantage.
So she moves and tries to findher sister, which she knew was
being held by the second cultistCome on.
Sonia.

Speaker 4 (01:44:18):
Not seeing anything in her panic.

Speaker 2 (01:44:20):
All right, let her do .
Auntie, you're up, mm-hmm whatdo you do?

Speaker 3 (01:44:28):
Here we go, wrap it up, end it.

Speaker 6 (01:44:31):
Yeah, so I'm gonna finish him.
I'm gonna finish this guy, ortry to.
Let's see.
Yeah, that smells bad.
I'm gonna stab this guy.

Speaker 4 (01:44:39):
This man, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:44:41):
You notice it's like breaking all of the pots in the
sort of kitchenware in the shopand just like as its tongue
lashes out.
You see this poor woman likehiding behind a stack of like
steel pans, as this thing likebreaks, like these, like little
clay glasses and pots.

Speaker 6 (01:44:59):
Are you making mess for Gauri Mommy?
No, no, no, no.
So I do an attack, that's an at20.
Woo, get it Take care of thatbusiness.
Okay, yeah, roll double damage,diane.
Okay, so double damage.
Let's see I rolled 10 damage,so two deep six plus three is 10

(01:45:25):
.
And then do I add two to that?
Still yes 12,.

Speaker 2 (01:45:30):
Amazing.

Who the hell's left these twoguys?
Sitara, you're up.

Speaker 7 (01:52:30):
You can't see anything.

Speaker 2 (01:52:32):
You see one cultist here and the other one there.

Speaker 7 (01:52:35):
I'm going to do a thorn whip, so I'm going to just
reach out like a, like a, likea lasso, and reach out and a
giant black vine comes out of myarm, out of this old lady's arm
, who's been very spry thiswhole battle, and he reaches out
to hit him.
Amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:52:56):
Roll to hit.

he goes I'm back, baby.
And I go and jump.

Speaker 7 (01:53:44):
I want to go.
I had plus seven on that.
I didn't see a change.
What an attack was plus sevento hit?
Oh, so that would make it aseventeen.

Speaker 2 (01:53:53):
That would have hit Ash.
Okay.
Okay, go ahead and roll damageand this is for the flame seed,
yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:54:04):
That is a four plus seven Seven Okay.

Speaker 6 (01:54:09):
It's a very hot spit yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:54:11):
Hot, hot, hot spit.
Jotu's spitball hits againstthis creature's armor and does
manage to do a small amount ofdamage, but the armor takes the
brunt of it, Ash you are up, Iwant to run and I want to jump
on top of this guy.

Speaker 1 (01:54:27):
Yes, and stabbing down with my haladi.

Speaker 2 (01:54:31):

help.
Now I have three attacks withmy, my, my, my bar's haladi.
Yes, my bar gave me this.
She's very sweet oh.
She was using it to cut somecorn for makanai cherdou.
But she said take this on youradventure, you might be useful.

So he looks pretty good, prettyhealthy.
Don't love how he looks, butsomewhat damaged he's getting a
little winded, a little winded.
Exciting, exciting, glad I'mexhausting him with stabs to his
face.
You said six damage on thatlast one right.
Yes, all right, a natural 20.
So 27.
All right, roll, double yourdamage die 10 damage for this

(01:55:30):
one.
Okay, yes, wow, you have dealt agrievous blow to this creature.
Your haladi strikes out, finding all of the weaknesses in
its armor and you see it beginto like have labored breathing.
What would you like to use yourbonus action on?

Speaker 1 (01:55:50):
So can I use my bonus action to disarm him?
Is that something I can do withmy tail, with his l Um, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:55:57):
Go ahead and give me an athletics check if you want
to try to get its second weaponout of its hand.

Speaker 1 (01:56:04):
Not acrobatics, huh, no, okay, bummer, come on, punch
, get him 18.

Speaker 2 (01:56:12):
Ah, Um, pretty good, I have a 19.
Oh, okay, first one.
Yeah, 15 on the die plus four, very strong.
So as you try to wrestle itssecond dagger out of its hand,
you are unable to do so.
Okay, and it is its turn.
I'm on top of this guy Stillwrestling with you.

(01:56:33):
It casts your intelligence isnot four or higher Animal
friendship on you.
Oh no, oh no.
You are now his friend.

Speaker 3 (01:56:46):
This entire adventure .
I've really been lured in bythe worst of the worst.

Speaker 7 (01:56:52):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (01:56:53):
Okay, yes, yes, master, you are now his friend.
Yes, yes, no, he sees youtrying to bite him.
He thinks it's cute and he'slike, oh, oh, you want to.
You want to hit him Sometimes.
You're my friend now.

Now You're my friend, you're myfriend, you're my friend,
you're my friend, you're myfriend, you're my friend, you're

(01:57:13):
my friend, you're my friend.
The second one is going tochannel its divinity, which is a
deity you don't like.
Oh no, another negative energyflood floods out.
You hear SIL-SIL-A cry out oncemore, and somewhere you see the

(01:57:37):
fates begin to twist as theentire market is rocked with
this negative energy flood.
The mimic is going to attackyou.
I forgot to attack with it onthe last turn.
Yeah, I'm first.
It's going to attempt to biteyou.

Speaker 1 (01:57:53):
You are grappled, it's like eating blood juice the
whole time.

Speaker 3 (01:57:58):
With the other hand, yeah 21.
Does that hit yeah 10 piercing?

Speaker 2 (01:58:01):
damage 10 piercing damage 10 piercing damage 10
piercing damage and anadditional one, acid damage.
All right, all right, as itbites you for a glancing blow,
then we are at the top of theround.
Nuri, you know that thesituation is getting dire.

Speaker 5 (01:58:23):
Can I do some sort of acrobatics check?

Speaker 2 (01:58:27):
Um, because where are you?
You're there and you're holdingthe baby.
Normally I would say you could, but I think, as you're holding
the baby like you can't do, likea forward flip or a vault, like
you normally would, becausethis baby is big.

Speaker 4 (01:58:42):
And you're cradling it.

Speaker 2 (01:58:43):
Yeah, you've got like a huge beholder baby that
you're wrangling.

Speaker 5 (01:58:50):
So using acrobatics would be very hard.

Speaker 2 (01:58:52):
You don't need a baby what is wrong with you.

Speaker 6 (01:58:56):
Just let go of the baby.

Speaker 5 (01:58:58):
All right, I toss the baby onto the little bounce
Bouncing.

Speaker 6 (01:59:07):
Bouncing, bouncing onto the little cradle.

Speaker 2 (01:59:10):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (01:59:11):
Okay, bouncing.
Yeah, baby's first bounce, it'sa bolder baby.

Speaker 2 (01:59:16):
You're going to toss the baby?
Yes, okay, not with thebathwater.
Yeah, out with the bathwater, yeah, yeah I guess give me like
a ranged attack roll just to seewhat your aim is like on this
Sure.

Speaker 5 (01:59:34):
What would that be?

Speaker 2 (01:59:37):
It'll be your decks plus your proficiency bonus.
Yeah, I guess, if you'reproficient in throwing babies,
I'm going to say yes.

Speaker 5 (01:59:44):
So that's 23.
So I do, yeah, I got a softtoss and it lands and like
bounces onto the little awning.

Speaker 2 (01:59:55):
The round blobby little baby just lands softly in
this and gives out a littlecoup as it bounces in the air a
little bit and lands on the topof this canopy.

Speaker 5 (02:00:06):
And then I vault over onto there, onto the other roof
.
Okay, do an athletic or anacrobatics, check.
Acrobatics check, get it Moody, that is a 16.

Speaker 2 (02:00:20):
16 will make it.
You're able to get onto theroof on the other side, kind of
vaulting over Moorca and Ash asyou do so, using them almost
like little stepping stones.
So it says boom, boom and.

Speaker 5 (02:00:35):
I move.
Oh yeah, you're saying 10 feetaway from that guy, which guy?
That guy, so I'm about 10 feetaway and whip on coils and
strikes out Perfect Roll to head, get it, get it, get it, get it

(02:00:56):
, get it, get it, get it, get it, get it, get it Get it Get it,
get it, get it, get it, get it,get it, get it, get it, get it,
get it.
Get it, get it, get it.
All right, get it yes.

Speaker 2 (02:01:14):
It looks like a hole.
That's not, and it deflects thesecond one as well, emboldened
by its patron growing power.

Speaker 5 (02:01:24):
All right.
Well, the flame blade comes outagain and I flash at him.
Can you, Because I have the twoweapons fighting Okay?
Yeah.
That will be.
That's your off hand attack,yeah, yeah, 23.

(02:01:46):
That's a hit.
That is a hit.

Speaker 2 (02:01:51):
Eight nine fire damage your fiery blade, as it's
like trying to deflect the whipwith one hand.
Your off hand is able to makecontact, dealing a blow to its
shoulder, finding a spot rightbetween where the shoulder plate
ends a little soft spot in thearmor.

Speaker 5 (02:02:13):
And actually, first of all, I'd like to say I strike
with the whip, strike with thewhip, nothing it glances off.
I slash out with flame blade, narrowing my eyes and the sorma
under my eyes smolders, givingit that little extra something.

(02:02:35):
Okay, I cut into him and also, that's also what did I say?
What did I say?
I hit for Nine.
Nine, that's actually a 12.
A 12.

Speaker 7 (02:02:52):
Sweet Okay.

Speaker 6 (02:02:54):
Okay, all right, all right.

Speaker 2 (02:02:57):
Is that your turn?
That's my turn.
At the end of your turn, theband plays again, trying to
embolden all of you, grantingthat bardic inspiration to,
let's see, ash, you're a snake,so you don't get one.
So granting Also no friend, youdo us any more so.

(02:03:17):
Granting it to Ash Nuri and whoelse is close?
Sonia is so good.

Speaker 1 (02:03:26):
I think Sonia, yeah, yeah, sonia, do you get like, so
do I get a second one, or isthat as a work?

Speaker 2 (02:03:31):

I didn't use the first one.
I think you only get one, okay.

Speaker 3 (02:03:35):
Yeah, did you give it to the snake?

Speaker 7 (02:03:37):
You give it to me.

Speaker 6 (02:03:38):
Hey.

Speaker 7 (02:03:38):
I'm far away.
Give it to me.

Speaker 6 (02:03:41):
Yeah, the snake is, inspired.

Speaker 4 (02:03:42):
But he's not a beast.

Speaker 2 (02:03:44):
No, no, he has it now , but he's not a friend anymore.
Snake, you're up and you haveinspiration.

Speaker 3 (02:03:51):

through with this sort ofskewer, with this battle
standard, puncturing it and kindof trying to hold it down.
Let's do onto your up.

Speaker 6 (02:07:45):
Ok, so I'm being grappled right.
Yes, ok, you can still attack.
Yes, I'm absolutely going toattack.
It has become personal now.
You've affected this woman'slivelihood, you've affected her
shop and while her sweets maybedon't smell, you know, quite as
good as mine, you knownonetheless it is still wrong.

(02:08:07):
So I take my.
I'm still going to just use myfreaking hand axe and try to
plunge it into this thing.

Speaker 2 (02:08:15):
Yes, Now what is my.

Speaker 6 (02:08:17):
What like do I have to account for, since I'm being
grappled?

Speaker 2 (02:08:20):
Your speed becomes zero.
I think that's it.
I think you can just, you'rejust.
The both of you are just likeengaged with each other, so you
can just roll as normal, OK.

Speaker 6 (02:08:32):
This is how I normally hug.
You're just going to try tobear hug it to that.
Yeah, ok, let's see.
You know it's reallyanticlimactic when it kind of
freezes like this.
Oh no it's fun, ok, cool, sothat's a 13 to hit that hit

(02:08:52):
Awesome, so that's four plus two, six, six damage.

Speaker 2 (02:08:58):
I think you have one more hit, I do.

Speaker 7 (02:09:00):
Get it, auntie, get it, get it, it's in its death
throes.

Speaker 2 (02:09:04):
The tongue is a-lawing.
It's trying desperately to likewrap its long velvety tongue
around your neck.

Speaker 6 (02:09:11):
There's nothing more repulsive to Ladoo Auntie than a
man coming at her with histongue.

Speaker 4 (02:09:22):
Oh, that's fair.

Speaker 5 (02:09:23):
That's fair she could be hit, she could out Auntie.
Yeah, yes.

Speaker 6 (02:09:27):
A 19 to hit, that's a hit, and then for damage, five
plus you seven, it dies.
Don't ever try to kiss me yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:09:43):
Because I think that had a plus two to it as well.
So, yes, the mimic, as you says, don't ever try to do this.
And you hit it again.
The mimic's tongue is likecompletely obliterated with your
shuffle, with your sandal.
And it falls to the ground dead, turning into this gelatinous

(02:10:07):
pile of its, the sum of itsparts really, as its many eyes,
clothes and the tongue just kindof walls off like dead frothing
at the mouth.

Speaker 6 (02:10:20):
I go, take a broom and immediately don't worry and
I immediately start putting itinto a dustpan.

Speaker 2 (02:10:28):
Yeah, yeah, I think that's a really good use of your
bonus action.
Yeah, personally, I supportthat.
I think that's the best use ofyour bonus action.
It is now Babby's turn.
Babby is up on the tent.
Babby is going to roll down thetent and probably honestly try

(02:10:50):
to hide behind it.
Yeah, yeah, he's very tired ofall of this.
He's going to tuck her down.
He's going to try to hide fromthese horrible cultists that
want to kill him.
Oh, that's an 18.
So, yeah, he just kind of rollsinto like a little ball.
As he sleeps and snores, theice tucks wear out once again.

(02:11:17):
Oh, what do you think is theonly person that can get hit by
it?
It'll hit you on.
Do you want odds?
Or even it's an odd, so you arespared?
Wait, babies love me.

Speaker 6 (02:11:36):
Even the second one does hit you.
Okay, sometimes they love that.

Speaker 5 (02:11:41):
He's going honk shriek that one doesn't.

Speaker 2 (02:11:47):
That one hits.
Make a dexterity, save 14.
You are slowed by this rain.
As you say, babies, love me,you realize your speed is slowed
.
It's almost like the air ismade out of gelatin.
Your sweeping becomes slow.

Speaker 4 (02:12:05):
Oh no.

Speaker 1 (02:12:07):
The worst horseradish .

Speaker 2 (02:12:10):
Sitara, you're up.
Can I do a?

Speaker 7 (02:12:12):
quick scan to see if I see the child.
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:12:18):
Yes, go ahead and give me a perception check.

Speaker 7 (02:12:21):
Don't get this nice today.
Sorry, I didn't mean to saythat to you.
Okay, better Perception 21.

Speaker 2 (02:12:31):
You see a small child gagged and bound in this
calling booth here, like in thissmall, like sort of fortune
telling booth there that lookslike a Doctor who call box.

Speaker 7 (02:12:45):
I'm going to run and jump down right up near him as
far as I can.
While I'm doing that, I'm goingto yell to Sonia and tell her
your sister's in there, go, gether go.
So I want to engage him.
So we can't do anything and I'mjust going to attack him.

(02:13:08):
Go ahead and roll to hit.
And I have two handed, so I candestroy him.
Does that mean you can do aduck?

Speaker 2 (02:13:16):
No, Just one attack.

Speaker 7 (02:13:18):
That's not a roll.
We don't like that.

Speaker 2 (02:13:20):
No, don't worry about that, it's a good roll.

Speaker 7 (02:13:21):
it's too bad, I'll take that roll.

Speaker 3 (02:13:22):
This is better.

Speaker 7 (02:13:24):
It's not better at all in any way shape or form.
So okay, I didn't hit.

Speaker 2 (02:13:29):
As your attack misses , another negative energy pulse
comes spilling out of thischaracter, out of this Naga as
it does.
You feel unbearable pain, Nuri,as your patron's life force is

(02:13:50):
drained and yours is tied tohers.
Thusly, you feel drained.
You all see the light go fromNuri's eyes.

Speaker 5 (02:14:01):
My hair slowly comes out.

Speaker 2 (02:14:05):
No, as it flickers out.
Thus too, you see this lastremaining Naga.
Look up to the sky, hands out,and you see his spirit come out
of his head as he too falls deadwith something else siphoning
its power.
Further up the mountain, With asupersonic thrum, the shield

(02:14:32):
that was preventing entranceinto the lake area goes bursting
forward.
The roofs of the marketplaceare splintered, Everything is
thrown from its shelves.
You feel a thunderous rumblingin the very ground beneath you,
as it seems that the very rockyou are standing on the mountain

(02:14:54):
itself groans.
This time you do not hearSilsalon's voice, and instead
you hear an ominous laugh.
Thank you for watching episodesix of this Equest.

Speaker 6 (02:15:15):
Everything has a place.

Speaker 1 (02:15:17):
Sometimes, something forgets what that place is for
that minute-day trespass.

Speaker 2 (02:15:25):
I cannot bear to see him take from anyone else.
Then he won't.
I will put him in his place.

Speaker 7 (02:15:32):
We already lamented the death of one person at this
table and they're right there,so I think we're doing pretty
well.
And what do you call judgment?
I call being impressed.

Speaker 6 (02:15:40):
And what do you call judgment?

Speaker 1 (02:15:41):
I call speaking and then I turn to look at you.

Speaker 4 (02:15:45):
No.

Speaker 1 (02:15:46):
And I fire an arrow.

Speaker 3 (02:15:48):
No, namir, you cannot revoke me, you knew the whole
time you lied to her.

Speaker 7 (02:15:56):
You are nothing but a thief.
If I've ever needed you, now isthe time.
I'm looking slightly ragged, but you know I'm about to die.

Speaker 6 (02:16:06):
You seem good and I'm spiraling in fire.

Speaker 2 (02:16:09):
This is it, everybody .
This is the fight.
Now I feel rage, and now I wantvengeance, and now I want

(02:17:02):
revenge, and now I want revenge.

Speaker 1 (02:17:47):
And now I want revenge, and now I want revenge.

Speaker 6 (02:18:45):
And now I want revenge.

Speaker 4 (02:19:00):
I'm going to fight.
