Speaker 1 (00:05):
Anjali.
Yes, can you stop being boredfor a second and help me?
When was I being bored?
Okay, listen.
So we all know I'm a D&D newbie, as evidenced by every single
moment of this entire campaign.
Oh no, come on, but I'm lookingto be less of a D&D newbie,
alright.
So I went on to Missy MountainGaming and I ordered almost
everything they had.
Can you help me decipher whatall of this is?

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Yes, I am absolutely the person for this job.
As our resident dice goblin, Ifeel like I am uniquely
qualified to tell you all aboutthese things.
Okay, so when you decided whatyou wanted to buy, dice-wise,
did you?
You know, everybody's got kindof their own vibe about how they
want to decide.
Some people do vibe off theenergy, some people vibe off the
colors, some people make itlike a character.
What was your strategy forbuying all of it?

Speaker 1 (00:47):
I filled up my entire cart until my whole computer
shut off from overheating.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Well, I'll tell you what.
We can take a look at these inIntermission and I will tell you
what all of these cool thingsare, and it's going to be so
much fun.
I'm so excited.
Okay, they are mine now.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Yeah, they're there, Okay.
Okay, I'm help you guys.
We'll see you in Intermission.
So these are mine.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
Enjoying this episode of Bacy Quest and you have to
let go.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
Hello and welcome to episode four of Bacy Quest.
Welcome, Persephone Valentine.
Thanks for having me.
Now I've brought you in becauseour players have found
themselves in a little bit of apickle.
So there's this little boy fromthis country called Bretzelwald

(01:36):
who's come here because hekeeps having dreams about this
mountain.
Oh, oh, oh.
But that's where he gets spicy.
He has a secret family he didnot tell his parents about.

Speaker 5 (01:45):
Someone's up in some trouble.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Yeah, yeah, but he feels like if he goes to this
mountain, maybe that'll completesomething inside of him.
But there's other stuff goingon.
Okay, so we've got thisbeautiful area in Vihar called
Lachman, and it's a farming area, and for the harvest festival
to begin, the goddess has tocome down from the mountain and

(02:07):
officiate this wonderfulcelebration called Rangali.
But she hasn't come down.
That's a problem.
It's a problem.
It's a problem.
We're rotting on the vine.
Bad things have happened andour group has decided graciously
to help them because all theroads are converging.
There is this amazing Namirfellow who finds himself torn

(02:27):
between wilderness and thecompany of people.
You know how that is yeah.
I do, yeah, I too long to escapeinto the wilds all the time.
And he led them on this airshipto the jungle because it seems
like the entire party's likepaths are all converging to this
mountain, rock dibba.
Now they hijacked the airshipwhich was supposed to go in a

(02:49):
different direction.
Like you do, Tore up a cottagetrying to get it to land, Did
manage to land it somewhatsuccessfully, and found
themselves in a jungle withthese two sisters.
What they don't know is thatone sister always resurrects the
other one, and so thedispatching of them.
They're still alive.

Speaker 5 (03:11):
Yeah, that would be a problem as well Sounds like
they're in trouble they are.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
They found themselves trapped inside the crooked sun
fort, but the party is split, which is where Iman comes in.
Mmm.
I have a very special missionfor you, iman.
Oh, now, as I understand it,iman, you can talk to the dead,
but can you help escort peoplefrom the land of the dead back
to the land of the living?
I'm sure I can arrangesomething.

(03:37):
Well, that's what I'm going toneed you to do today, is it?
I'm going to send someone yourway.
Mmm-hmm.
I'm going to need you to bringthem back to our table.

Speaker 5 (03:48):
Well, that sounds like something I could do for
you.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
I look forward to it.
I'll see you there.

Speaker 5 (03:53):
You will.
I promise I'm going to sendsomeone your way.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
I'm going to send someone your way.
I'm going to send someone yourway.
I'm going to send someone yourway, anjali, you are alone,

(05:21):
pulled into the muck itself.
But as you descend through thisrotting undergrowth, as a druid
, you become acutely aware ofthis fertile space.
You're in being pulled downinto the vasculatory system of

(05:44):
the woods of the Morboni forest.
Without this ecosystem, withoutthese life-giving veins running
throughout the woods, theywould die.
They take that which isdiscarded by our world and turn
it into something to be used bythe living.

(06:06):
Give me a Constitution safe, ohshh, we're going in, we're
going fast, we're going hard,we're going in people.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
That's my extreme Daisy voice.
Do you like that?
Apparently.
I sound like a 19-year-oldfootball player when I'm in here
.
Okay, here we go.
Oh, one Constitution, you don'tget it in hand.
Constitution 16.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
You begin to suffocate, but you are able to
hold your breath.
As you are drawn deeper downinto the earth, the canopy of
the forest fades from view andyou are enveloped in darkness.
You hear a voice.

(06:54):
I can take you to then.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
To whom Exactly?

Speaker 4 (07:03):
You're a creature of this realm.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
I don't understand.
Do you mean take me back to myfriends?
Yes, please take me to myfriends.
No, I'm going to be, yourparents Insight check Roll
insight.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
I get to roll with my new, shiny new dice.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
Yeah, shiny new dice 21.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
You get the sense that this entity is telling the
truth.
The cost won't be free.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
Who are you?
Tulve?
Do I know who Tulve is?
History chess so many checks, checkity, check, check, check.
I do not know who Tulve is.
When you say this realm, wheredo you mean exactly?
The wild, the fair wild Likeparents are in?

(08:20):
I don't understand.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
In prison here In the muck?
Why?
Well, for doing bad things, Isuppose.
Uh.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
How do I, how do I Pause?
Am I Is breathing a concernright now, like am I suffocating
as we speak Great Um.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
You feel vines pulling you ever downward,
closing around your neck, closing around your mouth,
pulling you down.
They can't help you.
They're not like you.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
I don't need them to help me.
I want to help them.
Why?
Because I care about them.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
Do you think they care about you?
No one cares about you, Sitara.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
That's not true.
My auntie cares about me andRocky does he?
Priya cares about me, Hmm.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
And where are they?

Speaker 3 (09:48):
now You've taken me away from them To where you
belong.
No, I don't belong here.
If I belonged here, I would beable to breathe here.
If you take me to my parents, will I be able to come back?

Speaker 4 (10:11):
One never knows.
Being such as yourself can goback and forth freely, but if
you were to open a door, wellthen I suppose we could all come
through together.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
And I definitely get the sense that this is an evil
being.
Do I need to insight check forthat or can I just I can tell
you.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
Give me another insight.
Check I don't.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
Okay, so neutral, I don't know what to do.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
I want to see my parents and I want to see my
friends, don't you think?

Speaker 3 (11:01):
I want to see my daughters, your daughters.

Speaker 4 (11:07):
What can you do?
I can't do anything.
I can't do anything.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
I can't do anything.
Who are?

Speaker 4 (11:16):
your daughters?
What can you know of loss?
Who are your daughters?
Oh, you know the ones you arebattling with above.
How can the child know the painof a parent ripped away from
his family?

Speaker 3 (11:38):
The same as a child can feel the pain of being with
some hubbarrants.
Am I restrained?
Do I have freedom of my limbs?
I?
I reached home and I grabbed mycard and I put my hands

(12:00):
together and I said, please, Ineed you now.

Speaker 4 (12:05):
I need you now.
Give me a constitution savingthrow so that the words are
difficult to get out with thevines wrapping around your neck.
Fifty, a partial success.
You take three points ofpsychic damage and you become

(12:30):
vaguely aware that you arefeeling the sensation of choking
, but not truly choking.
You can still breathe if youconvinced yourself to, and the
words just barely come out.
The hot, humid steaminess ofthe mulch gives way to the

(12:54):
gentle steam of a kettle boilingover and you are whisked away,
the steam parts like curtains, bringing you to that familiar
place between dimensions whendwells an entity that, let's be

(13:14):
honest, is a very wonderful faceto see compared to where you've
been.
Wordlessly, she pushes a cup oftea towards you.
You look troubled.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
Well, I've had a hard time breathing for a few
minutes, so there's that.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
I do what I can.
Who was that that would be theLord of flies.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
Flies Decay.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
And important, Unpleasant but important.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
Why does he have my parents?

Speaker 4 (14:01):
I don't believe he is the one that has your parents.
He is dwelling in the sameplace as them, though.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
I still don't understand why or how I was told
they died.
I was told they died in ahorrible accident.
My whole life since then hasbeen rocky.
Everything has been because Icouldn't, because I couldn't
figure out life without them.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
They were removed from the cycle of death and
rebirth and sent to a sort oflimbo.
The Feywild were a dwell, raucous gin buddy and deities

(14:54):
that transgressed againstsomeone powerful in a wrong way.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
What did they do?

Speaker 4 (15:02):
That I don't know.

Speaker 3 (15:09):
Can you help me bring them back?

Speaker 4 (15:17):
That is beyond my power.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
Can you help me speak to them?

Speaker 4 (15:25):
Do you know what this place is?

Speaker 3 (15:30):
I?
I assume it is your home.
There are many differentstories we were told as children
as to what the home of etherealspirits, gods, whatever you
want to call yourselves, whereyou live, this place seems, it

(15:54):
seems high above us.

Speaker 4 (16:01):
It is.
I wasn't very different fromyou.
I dwelt among you, giving mypatronage to travelers who
needed me, but I too suffered agreat loss.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
What did you lose?

Speaker 4 (16:25):
Everything, and so I created a place where I would
never feel loss or pain or joyagain.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
I'm I'm so sorry.

Speaker 4 (16:47):
Seeing you and your pain, I feel I made the right
choice.
Oh, but there's joy.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
There's so much joy to be had If I could show you.
Oh, I wish I would take youwith me and show you.
But it all fades Without one.
How can you tell you'reexperiencing the other?
Everything is just everything.
I don't mean to make you mad,you may.

(17:21):
I don't mean to make you sad orto make you question your
judgment.
I just am so grateful to youand you've been so kind to me.
I want to give you that, thatspark.
It's the spark that I find whenI'm performing, when I step

(17:43):
into another life, and I feel itfill through me.
It takes away some of thesadness of my own.

Speaker 4 (17:56):
Do you trust me?

Speaker 6 (17:59):
I do.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
Then I will speak freely.
What.
In you I see my same mistakes.
I sought the safety of thisplace and, after everything was
ripped from you, you sought thesafety of Rocky and, much like

(18:26):
me, you're trapped in a bubbleprison of your own making.
That's rather convinced you ofyour abilities and limitations.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
There's one difference in my cage I do feel
pain and sorrow and loss andanger.
You know it was wrong, butthere was something in my heart
that gave up and the only theonly creature that kept me going

(18:59):
was my Chotu, knowing that hewas there, full of love, a
beautiful being living in theworld, not a care except caring
for me and being cared for by me.
I don't have children, but Isuppose that's as close as I'm

(19:24):
going to come.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
And if I free you and you go back to the realm, how
do you think you would spendyour time differently?

Speaker 3 (19:35):
After seeing Brea, after seeing how truly loved you
can be without even knowing it,I think I would trust more in
myself.
Which is terrifying, but beingalone is different than being
lonely.

Speaker 4 (19:56):
My heart weeps for those of you trapped in between
Namir, even your parents, evenTolve.
My heart weeps for all of you.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
Well, I don't accept it.
I don't accept that thein-between is always.
I am going to find a way.
If you let me go back, I willfind a way.
I will find a way to find myparents and bring them back.
I will find a way to releasebeautiful Namir, who it feels
like gave his life for us.

Speaker 4 (20:32):
I will find a way, namir's sacrifice was great, but
it was of his own volition.
The extent of it, not even youknow.
Yet you will see him again, yes, I can promise you.

(20:55):
He is not far from you even now.

Speaker 3 (21:01):
That is a small relief.
No, that is a great reliefbetween him and Priya.
I think I know where my placeis and I haven't been living in
it for some time.
I think I know how to find it.

Speaker 4 (21:22):
And I shall secure you a passage back.
Thank you, your card.
There is one who worships me,who is loyal to me.
She will guide you back safely.
She speaks to the dead andknows how to navigate the decay.

(21:47):
She will take you back when thetime is right.
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
Thank you for being so honest with me.
It's rare in this world and inyour spell, please well, when
one no longer experiencesemotions like they used to.

Speaker 4 (22:12):
Your word is all you have left, but you have much
more than that, siddharah, thanks to you, and I'll be
watching you closely.

Speaker 3 (22:21):
I promise to do right by you and I promise I will
take the journeys for you.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
I will send my envoy to safely escort you through the
most dire lands.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
Is there anything I can do for you while I'm here?

Speaker 4 (22:38):
Your company has been a gift enough.

Speaker 6 (22:43):
Wait here.

Speaker 4 (22:50):
Welcome players.
As you can see in front of you, you've leveled up after your
excursions on the airship and inMorboni Forest, and our set has
leveled up as well.
We've got these, um, I've gotwell, I've got this amazing the
Hala screen from Dog Might.
But if you would be so kind asto flip over your player pads

(23:14):
you may have a surprise on theother side of it Shut up.
I have a unique one for each ofyou.
Oh my gosh, look at this.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
This is tailored to my interest.
I love food.
Yes, you've got your tiffin.

Speaker 4 (23:31):
You've got your racqueline.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
Oh my gosh, you're so good.

Speaker 4 (23:38):
The fronts of them are plexi, though, so you can
write on them, you can keepnotes on them, you can keep a
running tally of your health onthem, and you can store your
dice and all types of thingsinside.

Speaker 7 (23:48):
This is beautiful.
Thank you, it is beautiful.

Speaker 4 (23:51):
But what's not beautiful, no, is the place you
now find yourself in.
No, you don't feel imbued bythe powers of the forest.
In fact, in the defeating ofthis druid of filth, of magotry,
you did feel like you walkedaway emboldened by your

(24:15):
endeavors, but still tired fromthe excursion.
Lodduanti takes one level ofexhaustion as the rage and
frenzy falls off of her and thereality of her situation begins
to set in.
You find yourselves in crookedsunfort.
Around you, you hear buzzing, skittering of insects and things

(24:37):
moving about, the ruined stonesand crumbling ballast, and you
can see your breath rise in athin plume of smoke in front of
you as the temperature getsunnaturally cold.
It feels like your head isunderwater.
You feel presences around you.

(24:58):
It looks as though the fort wasvacated in a sort of emergent
fashion.
In fact, you can still see atable with two cups of tea on it
, the tea long since gone, wheretwo guards may have stood near
the entrance, their posts longsince abandoned.

(25:21):
The crumbling archway behindyou groans a little as the
stones shift.
You see one ray of light andthen, as the stones settle, it
disappears.
Your two companions seal theway behind you.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
Lodduanti's screaming and crying Because Sitara is
her closest family.
If Sitara goes to the bathroomshe's like where are you?
So, this is unfathomable to her.

Speaker 7 (25:57):
I'll do a couple attempts at the wall to try to
get back out from the collapsebehind us.

Speaker 4 (26:06):
The stones seem like they are just so heavy and so
set in place.
It's almost like they'vestacked perfectly behind you.
You can see a small distancethrough, but nothing large
enough for you to even getthrough or make your way through
.

Speaker 8 (26:22):
Ashwathama, maybe desperately tries to cast a
shield of faith through thestone, onto maybe where Sitara
could have been.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
Yeah, yeah, go ahead and can you read the description
for shield of faith for me?

Speaker 8 (26:41):
A shimmering field appears and surrounds a creature
of your choice within range, granting it plus two bonus for
the AC for the duration.

Speaker 4 (26:48):
As you reach out to cast shield of faith, you feel
as though Sitara is no longerthere.
What Her presence gone.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
If Lodduanti went her right self, this was like
anyone but Sitara she would rageand break open the fort and run
, but it's like that level ofterror and pain when you can't
even move anything.
You're so sad she will.
However, can she do a historycheck?
Yes, okay, okay, 21.

(27:24):
Yeah, she resorts to her mentalprowess.
I can study my way out of this.

Speaker 8 (27:34):
Yeah exactly.

Speaker 4 (27:37):
You know this can't be the only entrance to this
fort.
If fort was only one entranceand one exit, it's a death trap.
You know there's got to beother ways out.
With the history check, youknow that this fort has secret
passages out in case of, youknow, being laid siege to.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
Lodduanti relays, all of this.
I hate secret passages.
You should never keep secrets.

Speaker 8 (28:05):
Auntie, I know this is terrible, that what happened.
I just have a feeling.
I don't know what it is, but Ihave a feeling that we will see
Sitara again.
I don't know.
I feel like this whole quest togo to the mountain is like my
fault in a way.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
Lodduanti takes your hands, your head and her hands
Almost forceful.
This is uncomfortable.
It is not your fault, okay, andit's like, hopefully,
simultaneously scary andcomforting, and she gives you a
kiss on your forehead.

Speaker 8 (28:47):
Thank you Thanks.

Speaker 4 (28:51):
As your voices echo through the halls.

Speaker 7 (29:00):
Oh, that's okay.

Speaker 1 (29:03):
It's probably nothing .

Speaker 8 (29:07):
Probably friends.

Speaker 7 (29:09):
Aylen will met.

Speaker 4 (29:14):
You notice Auntie's voice kind of echo down the hall
in front of you as it does.
You see Diaz placed instrategic locations, small clay
pots full of oil or butter and asmall wick light up as they do

(29:38):
the illuminate arched doorwaysto your left and right, and the
hallway in front of you seems toget longer as it gets longer.
You see a small light, almostlike a moat of light, come out
of the gloom towards you and itcomes forward and then unfurls

(30:04):
its wings and you notice it hastwo heads, two stalks and four
wings, indeed, fluttering intime.
Everyone give me a constitutionsaving throughout.

Speaker 7 (30:18):
Oh, okay 24.
Must be nice.

Speaker 8 (30:26):
I'll trade with you because I got a six.

Speaker 7 (30:32):
Cool five.

Speaker 4 (30:35):
Auntie, you see, this strange powder kind of begin to
fall off of this flying leakermoth's wings and as it does, it
kind of comes towards you, kindof like scratching your senses
for just a moment, and then youfeel compelled, both of you, to

(30:59):
follow it.

Speaker 7 (31:00):
Well, you don't got to tell me twice.
I would like to go there.

Speaker 8 (31:05):
Yes, let's do it.
Oh, my tail's kind of pullingme.

Speaker 4 (31:10):
And you begin to follow this moth deeper and
deeper into the fort.

Speaker 8 (31:21):
Are we able to do any kind of checks in terms of
trying to see?
No, no, okay, cool.

Speaker 4 (31:27):
Why would we?
Because you are drawn deeperand deeper into this fort, you
begin to see the ruins of giant, almost made out of baked earth,

(31:48):
pounded into very carefulshapes, warriors, at one point
active, moving around long sincedisabled, some of them cracked
and destroyed, beheaded, otherskind of just crumbling from age

(32:08):
and overuse.
You see their placid stonefaces kind of come up out of the
darkness as this moth continuesto light them and draw you
further and further and furtherinto the fort.

Speaker 1 (32:26):
I think Gladdu auntie , she is trying to keep it
together but her main goal islike find any source of light
that looks like an exit, thatlooks like it could lead to
wherever Sitara is trapped orwhatever.
So what I do is there any checkI can do to see for like light
or perception check?
Okay, Eleven.

Speaker 4 (32:47):
You look around for light and your human eyes
unadjusted to this and managingto break away from the moth, you
become briefly separated fromthe party, not by much.
In the darkness, your eyes havea hard time sort of discerning

(33:12):
between shapes and wakingnightmares.
Jesus, Also, I believe you areexhausted, so you would be
rolling with disadvantage.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
Woo, should I roll again and see, or no, you've
already been.

Speaker 6 (33:33):
You can only go lower .

Speaker 4 (33:38):
But you think you see something.
You think you see a shapemoving, a woman's shape, not
unlike Sitara's.
She follows it, no question.
You find yourself in a verydimly lit, one small light in

(33:58):
the corner, shadows falling overthe walls of a woman's bedroom
and in it you see the ghostlyvisage of a woman from the river
.
Make a wisdom saving throw withdisadvantage Okay.

Speaker 1 (34:21):
Okay, so one of these is an eight.

Speaker 7 (34:25):
Cool, let's go for the net 20.

Speaker 1 (34:27):

So eight Okay.

Speaker 4 (34:34):
I was trying to find my D12.

Speaker 7 (34:37):
Why.

Speaker 1 (34:40):
Ha D4.

Speaker 4 (34:43):
You take seven psychic damage as the face gets
larger and larger and golfingyou whole.
You hear that wail from theriver once more, the ah, ah, ah,
and your mind for a momentbreaks and you think of Sitara
being drowned in the river.
And just as grief overtakes you, the woman's face in front of

(35:05):
you disappears and then you seea human face behind it.
Can our guests join us at thetable?
The ghost.

Speaker 7 (35:17):
The ghost herself.

Speaker 4 (35:24):
Oh my God, I think our ghost has rescued someone
else from the muck with her.
Is this correct, immanuel?

Speaker 6 (35:30):
Yes.
Oh no.

Speaker 3 (35:36):
What Do I have a story for you.
Wow.

Speaker 4 (35:45):
Please take your seats, Wait what?

Speaker 1 (35:50):
You tricked us, you tricked us.

Speaker 4 (35:52):
We tricked you.
You see this face leading onefamiliar to yours.
Sitara, your excursions in thebeyond have left you somewhat
weakened.
Will you roll for me to D8?

Speaker 3 (36:15):
Oh no, oh no, please roll badly guys.
This is your time, this is yourchance.
Get it out of your system.
Oh, no, 8 and a 2.

Speaker 4 (36:29):
You take 10 points of damage from the excursion but
you've walked away withexperience.
Your brush with wherever you'vebeen has granted you the
experience also requisite to hitlevel 5, as well as.

Speaker 1 (36:50):
No, oh boy, what's on the back?

Speaker 7 (36:56):
Gutties Review test.
Puts on the bottom Wow, it'sbeautiful.

So wait, I see both of themappear, one being led by the
other.
Completely does not realizeyou're there, in a way, and hugs
you to death, almost Kisses you.
Where have you been, tyrae, inbetween extreme anger and love,

(37:28):
where have you been?
Oh, my god, thank god, whathappened?

Speaker 3 (37:33):
I think Sitara is still just kind of dazed from
the whole experience andeverything that she's learned
Going where she went and thenwhere she went after that and
everything is just.
It's been so dizzying.
I'm just staring kind ofblankly at you while you talk.

Speaker 1 (37:49):
Oh, my god, you need water.
You need water and nuts.
Do you want nuts, almonds?
Where's Chotu?
I thought he was with you, chotu.

Speaker 4 (38:00):
You don't hear an answer, oh.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
Chotu.
Where did you put him last?
Shut up, Chotu.
Okay, once LAUGHTER.
Chotu.

Speaker 3 (38:16):
Chotu and she's just running trying to find him,
Chotu.

Speaker 1 (38:22):
Chotu, come on, this isn't funny anymore.

Speaker 4 (38:26):
As your voice echoes through the halls of the fort,
you hear a.
Oh, oh, okay, mucho, come to me, please Don't leave me you see
two eyes staring at you fromunderneath a ruined bed, and

(38:46):
then you see two more eyes.

Speaker 3 (38:53):
No LAUGHTER, I immediately say Chow and he
bursts into flames.
Chotu gets into his wildfirespirit.

Speaker 4 (39:05):
As the light illuminates the darkness, you
see two large ears, hair pulledback into a bun.
The light reflects off of whatcould only be spectacles a tusk,
a very long trunk, wearingwhite Gurtapajama and writing in
a notebook, a very surprisedelephant-headed individual who,

(39:29):
looking up at you inquisitivelyand then looking back at the
small creature that has burstinto flames, says oh wow, I
didn't know, I did that.

Speaker 1 (39:40):
Is Ganesha team girl LAUGHTER Chotu Chotu, come here.

Speaker 4 (39:48):
You see Chotu instead like playing with her fingers
and taking nuts from her hand.

Speaker 3 (39:56):
Who are you?

Speaker 4 (39:58):
Who are you, sitara?
Are you a ghost?
No, are you sure?
Yes, there's ghosts here.
I'm not one, that's good.

Speaker 3 (40:09):

This is.

Speaker 1 (40:11):

Laughter.

Speaker 4 (40:17):

Well, we're in Crooked Sun Fort.

Speaker 3 (40:22):
Crooked Sun Fort.
Yeah, and you live here.

Speaker 4 (40:29):
No, no one lives here .
That's ridiculous.
Why would someone live here?
Iman tell them.
Isn't that so weird?
I thought this was like reallyweird.
No one lives here anymore.
This is a ruin.
Only ghosts live here, everyonehere did Duh-duh.
The rest of us come here tolike study about history and

(40:52):
artifacts and how the people ofOld Bahar lived.
I saw your friends go by intothe dark, though they're heading
to the dangerous part of thefort.
That's the part where all theghosties are you guys are not
ghosts?

Speaker 1 (41:07):
No, do I look like a ghost to you?
Are you saying I look pale?

Speaker 3 (41:17):
Auntie Begind being.
Very true, auntie Begind she.
She brought me here.
She's a kind of spiritualchaperone.

Speaker 4 (41:32):
That's what she told me too.
She said she could talk to deadpeople.
Does that mean you're dead?
What if you aren't?
You don't know it.
That's a thing, hey.

Speaker 1 (41:44):
Don't say that I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (41:45):
I'm sorry to check on myself to see if.
I'm dead.

Speaker 7 (41:49):
Roll for existential crisis yes Me every morning, no,
but seriously Like what am Iwrong?
But with coffee.

Speaker 4 (41:56):
Existential crisis?

I am Medicine.

Speaker 3 (41:59):
Natural twin.

Speaker 4 (42:00):
OHHHH Plus four, 24.

Speaker 3 (42:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (42:04):
You're pretty sure you're alive, right?

Speaker 6 (42:06):
But, there's only one way to be a char To try to kill
me.

Speaker 3 (42:11):
I have a lot of knife .
Oh yeah, let's not do that.
I don't think that your Patronwould appreciate it.
Patron.

Speaker 1 (42:21):
Who's my patron?
Can I do a history check onthis person?
Mm-hmm, what are you?
Trying to discern.
I want to know what herBackstory is, what my deal is.

Speaker 4 (42:35):
Yeah what your removal is Is that history Is
that perception.
If you're trying to mark itbased off of their clothing,
yeah, their appearance.

Speaker 3 (42:43):
Yeah, their accent and stuff, yeah, okay, can I
give her guidance, because Ireally want to.
I'm looking at her clothing andtrying to figure her out too.

Speaker 4 (42:50):
Yeah, and while you do that, why don't you describe
yourself?

Speaker 5 (42:53):
for the party.
So Iman is a very tall, thin, like tan woman with like long
dark hair that's streaked withgold, wears gold and red robes
with a lot of brocade on them.
Everything on her looks prettywell kept and clean, but she
does sort of look around likeshe doesn't blink a lot.

Speaker 4 (43:16):
Mm-hmm, 22.
22.
Wow, you would recognize theclothing to be like that of a
vintage enthusiast, but nothingthat's out of the ordinary.

Speaker 6 (43:26):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (43:27):
You would also know that this clothing is like
rather expensive.
This is a rich person.

Speaker 3 (43:37):
Yeah, I know what I was told when I was.
Do I see anything on Iman thatwould back that up that this
person is who they?
I was told they were.

Speaker 6 (43:53):
No.

Speaker 3 (43:56):
Oh well, Well, I am here.
If you'd put the knife away, Iwould much appreciate it.

Speaker 6 (44:03):
Oh, I still have that out.
I just thought it would befunny.

Speaker 3 (44:07):
I have a squirrel on fire at my behest.

Speaker 5 (44:10):
That is a very impressive rodent.

Speaker 3 (44:12):
I'm pretty sure you don't want to be funny like that
around me, mm.

Speaker 6 (44:17):
Noted.

Speaker 1 (44:19):
Okay, what happened?

Speaker 3 (44:21):
I, the ground underneath me, swallowed me
whole, and I don't know how toexplain it.
It was like I was speaking tothe earth.
There was a voice that I washearing, a terrible, terrible
voice, and they spoke to me oftheir daughters, soha and

(44:45):
Surihan, and I learned that, because we had killed them, they
wanted to take perhaps anothersacrifice.
Don't take you.
Well, I, through the grace ofsome spirit, I was taken away,

(45:10):
although and I'm just startingto remember, remember While I
was there they said that theycould take me to my parents,
that Amin and Papa weren't dead.
They are dead.
No, they're not.
I can feel it.

Speaker 4 (45:31):
Make an arcana check Both of us.

Speaker 5 (45:34):
You Ooh.

Speaker 3 (45:38):
Eight, there was somewhere that they had been
banished to and that this voicetold me I was supposed to go to.
No, no, no and I wanted to go.
I wanted so badly to go, but Iknew I had to come back to you.

Speaker 1 (45:58):
Yeah, do not go somewhere scary random.
You see your parents are dead.
Auntie, what?

Speaker 3 (46:05):
I knew I had to come back to you because I'm all you
have, oh well.

Speaker 1 (46:12):
I mean don't, that's not, don't come back just
because Auntie.
But I, I love you, auntie.
Okay, okay, okay.

Speaker 4 (46:21):
Oh, wow.

Speaker 1 (46:22):
This is so wholesome.

Speaker 6 (46:23):
It's very wholesome and very sweet.

Speaker 3 (46:28):
Anyway, I spoke to some beautiful spirit who said
that they would send me backwith Hello.

Speaker 6 (46:39):
Someone.
I'm Iman Iman, iman Iman.
Iman Okay.

Speaker 3 (46:50):
And here I am.

Speaker 1 (46:51):
Okay, well, I'm very glad you're safe.
I don't know anything aboutyour parents being alive.
I know.
Do you know?
Have you seen her parents?

Speaker 6 (47:02):
How am I supposed to know her parents?
I just met her.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
I don't know anything about you, man, come on.
I don't know anything about youeither.
Okay, okay, what could I?

Speaker 3 (47:13):
Here's what I think we are headed.
We've already met one spiritSome do natural spirits who have
been troubled right.
There's been one in the riverwailing for what seemed to be
some kind of escape.

Speaker 8 (47:30):
We're not here.
Yeah, we've been tracked away.
We've been tracked away, butyou're speaking of Soha, I'm
it's concoct that your otherfriends.

Speaker 3 (47:38):
Okay, back.
Going back to that, yeah, oneof these spirits was already
troubled, was supposed to go tothe mountain, right, Because
there's some spirit in theforest who is causing everything
to die.
I vaguely remember all of this.
Oh, we have to find Ash.
Where are they?

Speaker 4 (47:54):
And as you say this, we cut to Ash and Morka deep in
the Deep in the fort.
I almost said force.
Deep in the fort.
The moth still kind ofoccasionally doing this gyrating
motion has led you.
She's so beautiful Deep intothe darkness.

Speaker 5 (48:15):
Let's go Deep into the darkness.

Speaker 7 (48:17):
You're a good girl, do either of you have dark
vision.
Yeah, I do, you don't.

Speaker 4 (48:24):
So you see in black and white and for you, all you
see is the moth and it's thislike scintillating powder
falling off of it.

Speaker 6 (48:32):
Wow, it's so pretty.

Speaker 4 (48:35):
Ha ha ha.
Look at the gulf and as youmove deeper into the bowels of
the fort, you begin to passcorpses, skeletons, bodies.
You have to step over them, still thinking only Sorry, I'm

(48:56):
keeping up.

Speaker 7 (48:57):
Oh, this moth.

Speaker 8 (49:00):
Excuse me, I'm trying to see the moth.

Speaker 4 (49:02):
Sorry hey, hey, hey, hey he bought me dinner first,
all right, that then leads youinto a beautiful library.
There is this stone latticeworkon the ceiling, and a soft
green light comes in, almost asfrom the forest floor, high,
high above, and you see aroundyou tomes, books, all sorts of

(49:30):
scrolls and bits of knowledgecrumbling ancient.
And then the moth comes andrests on the desk, on a quill
sitting idly at the table.

Speaker 8 (49:50):
It's like the spell broken a little bit from the
moth like no.

Speaker 4 (49:55):
You still are really into this moth.

Speaker 8 (49:57):
Really into the moth okay.

Speaker 4 (49:58):
It's really pretty and it's really.
It's got eyelashes andbeautiful eyes that are like mmm
.

Speaker 7 (50:10):
I don't usually go for this kind of thing, Ash, but
hey.

Speaker 1 (50:14):
God damn it.
You needn't for a cue.

Speaker 8 (50:19):
Don't make it weird, merca, just be with the moth.

Speaker 7 (50:23):
I'm going to mentor.
I'm not dead.
You know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (50:29):
Okay, we have to use the butchah Bop, bop, trailing
in behind you.

Speaker 6 (50:35):
Bop, bop.

Speaker 7 (50:37):
Butchah Now, just for storytelling purposes.
Did I reactivate butchah, orhave I actively not?

Speaker 4 (50:44):
You have actively not .

Speaker 7 (50:51):
Butchah, how's it going?
Bop, bop.
Oh, you old scamp, and I'llmove in between you and butchah
and just kind of scratch my heada little bit, just like my son.
How's it going as I'm detectingmagic with my my eye patch?

Speaker 4 (51:10):
You see illusory magic at play.

Speaker 7 (51:14):
Oh, buddy, you, guy, you, my number one man Bop, bop,
yup, top top ten, number oneBop bop.
And I'll start to back up alittle bit towards Ash.

Speaker 8 (51:31):
That is not butchah.
That is not butchah.

Speaker 4 (51:34):
A tier list opens Bop bop bop, bop, bop.

Speaker 8 (51:41):
Oh, butchah, butchah would never drop you down.
No, the list.

Speaker 4 (51:46):
Make a wisdom saving throw, oh, oh.
What about Sweden?

Speaker 6 (51:50):
No, just him.

Speaker 7 (51:53):
It's okay, I've got this.
I have a negative two.

Speaker 1 (51:56):
No, don't worry.

Speaker 7 (52:00):
Great, I rolled a three.
No.

Speaker 1 (52:03):
Wow.

Speaker 7 (52:03):
That's a dirty one.

Speaker 1 (52:05):
Oh buddy.

Speaker 8 (52:07):
Still in positive numbers.

Speaker 7 (52:16):
Wow, this has been great.

Speaker 4 (52:20):
Thanks, I'm sure you're gonna be fine, butchah
bursts into a million glowingcockroaches that all begin to
swarm up your boots, and then upyour body, and then up your
head.

Speaker 7 (52:40):
Uh, question my clothing is set to react with
shield.
If I'm getting hit Mm-hmm, Isthe shield going up?
Yes, oh, they're real, oh God.
And so I'm now like pushingaway, trying to pull these

(53:01):
things off.

Speaker 4 (53:02):
Yeah, yeah, give me a dexterity save.

Speaker 7 (53:04):
Okay, come on, come on, come on, great Seven.

Speaker 4 (53:11):
You take, does a 19 hit?

Speaker 7 (53:14):
Oh yeah, oh wait, with my shield up, let me
double-check.
I don't think it does actually.
Okay.

Speaker 4 (53:20):
Okay, how neat those notes are so neat.

Speaker 7 (53:22):
I've heard so many people say oh, believe it or not
?

Speaker 1 (53:24):
no a 19 does not hit Okay.

Speaker 7 (53:26):
Snap.
Thanks for the level I knowDoes a 14 hit, no 14.

Speaker 4 (53:38):
Oh wait, that one didn't fall in the tray.
Okay, that's a 22.
That hits, and then, okay, soone hit for oh yeah, that's not
bad Two piercing damage.
Okay, you're able to rip almostfrantically these bugs off of

(54:00):
you and as you do, and you takeone on the hand, the giant
pincer from this cockroach justkind of grabs you and bites into
you.
You grab it and throw it, andyou notice as you throw it, and
it hits the floor.
You see, you would know thisbecause you're you Ectoplasm.

Speaker 8 (54:22):
Oh, am I aware or am I still?

Speaker 4 (54:26):
You see this too.

Speaker 8 (54:27):
I see it all happen.

Speaker 4 (54:28):
Yeah, but the moth is also very interesting, oh my.

Speaker 1 (54:31):
God.

Speaker 4 (54:33):
You are still actively affected by the charm
condition with this moth yeah.

Speaker 7 (54:37):
I'm gonna grab like a brick or a stone or something
around here.
Screw it, there's bones, right,or?

Speaker 4 (54:45):
how we passed it, yes , in the hall.

Speaker 7 (54:46):
Okay, I'll grab a bone and, using tinkering, I am
going to imbue that with likesmelling salt odor and hold it
right by your face, Ugh.

Speaker 8 (55:01):
Merca, get out, stop, stop it.
You're disrupting the show.
No, no, no.

Speaker 7 (55:10):
Ask my child burst into a bunch of cockroaches.

Speaker 6 (55:13):
I need you here.

Speaker 4 (55:13):
I need you here, Come on, come on come on and the
smell hits your nostrils and youcome to yourself in a musty old
library and as you do, the doorto the study slams shut.
You all hear this.
Further up in the fort you heara loud slamming and then a.

Speaker 6 (55:36):

it in small bits becausefeature-length films are dead.

Speaker 3 (56:55):
Deal with that later.
Is that true?

Speaker 6 (56:59):
We're walking, let's discuss.
How did?
You give this woman someemotion on the stress.
I'll come with you, Sitara.

Speaker 3 (57:05):

She pulls out her whip Dancinglights and she does a little
flourish and using her whip, almost like it's a ribbon baton,
you see three dancing lightsform and begin to go down the
hall.
How far?

Speaker 3 (57:50):
did it sound like it was really really far away?
Do we have a long way to go?
No, no, no.

Speaker 4 (57:55):
You just have some distance to go With their
movement speed.
They were only able to go 120feet at the time that you were
chatting and as she goes downthe hall you notice she's using
her whip to skip.
Oh my God, and this is what shelooks like, so you're not
allowed to hate her.

Speaker 1 (58:10):
She's adorable.

Speaker 4 (58:11):
You're not allowed to hate her.

Speaker 1 (58:14):
Oh, she's adorable.
She looks just like you.

Speaker 3 (58:18):
But with big ears and a chunk but sure, just like.

Speaker 1 (58:22):
Oh, so cute.
I don't see the resemblance.
Now you mentioned somethingabout secret passageways.
Is that something this I canask this girl about or that we
feel would be useful?
You can?

Speaker 4 (58:33):
try?
Yeah, you could try.
You know that forts like thiswould have ways to get out and
get food, water and potentiallysquirrel out the royal family in
case of, In case they were laidsiege to.

Speaker 3 (58:46):
Any good fort.
She said squirrel out.
Did you get it?
Because we squirrel out.

Speaker 4 (58:50):
Actually speaking of Sitar, as you see her skipping
down the hall using her whip asa jump rope.
You see Chotu sitting on hershoulder.

Speaker 3 (58:59):
Burning her shoulder.
She's on fire.
That can't be comfortable.
Why is she not getting burntJust in his head?
I say, chotu, what are youdoing?
No, no, no, okay, okay, itdoesn't matter.

(59:20):
Go, follow, follow, follow.

Speaker 5 (59:22):
I'm going to start playing the dulcimer to the beat
of her skipping, just like.

Speaker 1 (59:29):
I feel new.
It's like Modern music.

Speaker 5 (59:32):
Jesus, Do you give her inspiration, I give her
inspiration, yeah, who's her?

Speaker 4 (59:39):
Natasha's, like you know, the dulcimer to her
skipping, because she isparticularly inspired as her
feet cross each other and sheperfectly skips down the hall.

Speaker 1 (59:48):
The three dancing lights going in her way.

Speaker 3 (59:50):
She reminds me a lot of you, Okay okay, let's put
that on a shelf for a littlewhile, shall we Right?

Speaker 4 (59:58):
You follow her down the hall In the study.
The both of you see the doorslam shut.

Speaker 4 (01:00:16):
Yeah, yeah, just two dads in a dungeon, books began
flying off the shelves.

Speaker 8 (01:00:23):
I used to like books until this moment.

Speaker 4 (01:00:25):
Both of you take six bludgeoning damage.

Speaker 7 (01:00:27):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (01:00:29):
As you are absolutely buffeted in a flurry of scrolls
, pages, tomes, arcanecomponents, paper weights just
about everything that can flyoff these shelves flies off of
these shelves and, as it doesyou notice, it flies to the
opposite shelf.

Speaker 8 (01:00:49):
Oh.

Speaker 4 (01:00:50):
Instead of onto the floor.
They're reorganizing but, Morka, you notice a tome lies at your
feet.

Speaker 7 (01:00:58):
Oh, I pick it up with my bruised hand, you see the
schematics for the creation ofclay automatons.
Hot Clay soldiers.

Speaker 8 (01:01:17):
Yes, fantastic Ash, this is great what's?

Speaker 7 (01:01:21):
great about books hitting me in the face.
I'm going to change thetinkering odor, the smelling
salts, over to just likelighting it up with like a five
foot light.
So there's a glowing bone.
And I'll hold it to theschematics Like a human femur
Like a glow stick and then justlike hold it Femur light.
Look, it's schematics for atomaton soldiers Made out of

(01:01:46):
clay.

Speaker 8 (01:01:47):
That's great.
Okay, how does that help usright now?

Speaker 7 (01:01:49):
Well, it might not help us right now, in the
immediate, but it's interesting, don't you think?

Speaker 8 (01:01:53):
Super interesting, okay, but can we figure out
what's attacking us?

Speaker 7 (01:01:57):
in this room.
I would like to do a.
I want to just do a perceptioncheck to see if I can find a way
out, like any secret doors oranything.
Yeah, go ahead.
Oh, thank you.

Speaker 4 (01:02:11):
Okay, and as you ask that question, give me a history
.
Check Sure or our conna.

Speaker 8 (01:02:18):
They're both plus zero.

Speaker 4 (01:02:21):
Come on Roll.
Physical dice Okay, no, no, no.

Speaker 8 (01:02:25):
You don't get to roll again.
No, you said it.
The DM said I could, it doesn'tmatter, I got a six.

Speaker 4 (01:02:32):
Never mind, you're screwed either way.

Speaker 7 (01:02:34):
All right, I'm rolling with.
This is going so badly.
Well, that was a D4, right?
Yeah, yeah, great, it's goingto help, right, oh, yeah, yeah,
let's see what it adds to thisfive.
It's a multiplier.
Cool, that's a one.
So six.

Speaker 4 (01:02:52):
You can see no way out.

Speaker 8 (01:02:54):
Okay, there was like a quill on the table, wasn't
there that the moth played to?
Maybe that's something.
I pick up the quill.

Speaker 4 (01:03:03):
Your hand almost becomes stuck to it.

Speaker 7 (01:03:12):
What did you do?

Speaker 4 (01:03:13):
And you begin writing , against your will, hard into
the surface of the desk itself.

Speaker 8 (01:03:21):
Ash, do you need a piece?

Speaker 7 (01:03:22):
of paper.
I can get one of these booksyou can use the plexiglass of
these gorgeous.

Speaker 1 (01:03:28):
These gorgeous.

Speaker 8 (01:03:30):
So what am I writing?

Speaker 7 (01:03:33):
I go over with the femur.

Speaker 4 (01:03:37):
Do either of you speak a bissel.

Speaker 8 (01:03:41):
You no Speak common Elvish and Primordial no.

Speaker 4 (01:03:49):
You cannot discern.

Speaker 8 (01:03:52):
Maybe there's a book Like a translation book in this
space.

Speaker 7 (01:03:58):
I can look, or and I'm gonna grab pieces of paper,
I'm just gonna pull them frombooks and then I am going to on
the desk.
Can I look to see if there'sany writing utensil or chalk or
anything like that?

Speaker 4 (01:04:17):
Give me an investigation check Okay.

Speaker 7 (01:04:23):
Go back, go back, come on, please, please.
Eight plus eleven.

Speaker 4 (01:04:32):
Your hand falls on as you're like, nervously looking
through these drawers, nervouslytrying to like look through the
study.
You can't find chalk thathasn't completely crumbled into
dust, since the ruin you're inis hundreds of years old.
You're not able to find an inkpot that's not completely dried
out.
But your hand lands on ajournal.

Speaker 7 (01:04:56):
Oh uh.
I'll quickly flip through tosee what's in the journal.
What kind of journal is it?

Speaker 1 (01:05:01):
before I start sharing pages out, Taring pages
out, yeah, before I destroy it.
Yeah, yeah, you want to know.

Speaker 4 (01:05:09):
As you flip through the pages you read of Tolve, the
keeper of this fort.

Speaker 7 (01:05:19):
Okay, ash, one second .

Speaker 8 (01:05:24):
Yeah, sure, no, no problem.

Speaker 4 (01:05:26):
It says, one of the guards tried to release the
girls, again against my will.
These cretins don't understandthat what I do, I do to protect

(01:05:48):
them.
If they were to leave theboundaries of my realm of
Morboni Forest, they would bewell within Roussak's grasp.
I keep them here against theirwill, but here I keep them safe.
And my own guard defies me, nomatter, I will dismiss them.

(01:06:14):
I have perfected my plans.
My arcane formulations areperfect.
I can create a new army made ofthe earth itself, bound to my
very will.
For what is more reliable thanflesh, if not the divinity of

(01:06:42):
math?
I shall send these fowl, thesepathetic fleshy creatures, away
and instead find myself safelyin the calm of the eternal truth
of the arcane.

Speaker 8 (01:07:02):
What are you reading?

Speaker 7 (01:07:05):
I'm starting to see the error of my philosophy.
You're pretty engrossed in thatbook.
It was interesting.
Looks like we might be dealingwith this.
Might have been the study ofsomeone who was looking to build
an army and was trapping twogirls for some reason.

Speaker 8 (01:07:27):
Okay, that's relatively creepy, can I look
for?
Is there a tome or a book orsomething to translate what I've
written?

Speaker 4 (01:07:37):
Yes, go ahead and give me an investigation.
Meanwhile, in the hall you seeNatasha cautiously following
these three dancing lights withher music accompaniment.

Speaker 6 (01:07:50):
Mm-hmm love music.

Speaker 4 (01:07:52):
Stop at the door.
I think they went in here.

Speaker 6 (01:07:57):
I'll use shark.

Speaker 4 (01:07:59):
I don't remember this door being closed earlier.
Iman, I don't remember it beingclosed.
I just remember a lot of things.

Speaker 5 (01:08:06):
Yeah, you're a little weird.
Am I weird or are you?

Speaker 3 (01:08:09):
weird.
Do you have any?
Am I weird?
Do you have?

Speaker 1 (01:08:12):
Yes, oh my, you see, when you talk to your friends on
the, you know, are we going?

Speaker 3 (01:08:19):
to do this right now.
No, Do you have any ability?
Does anyone have any special?
I just want to check if there'sanything wrong with this door.
Can you do?

Speaker 1 (01:08:29):
like arcana or investigation?
Yeah, go ahead, and which oneyou can roll as well.
I'd like to check for traps.

Speaker 4 (01:08:36):
Yes, go ahead and give me a investigation, check.
You can roll arcana orinvestigation, whether you know.
It's just a matter of whetheryou're checking for something
physical or whether you'rechecking for something magical.

Speaker 5 (01:08:47):
I'll check for something physical.
The mom's going to look at thedoor and look at everyone else
and then look at the door, holdup her palm and cast Shatter Mm
oh.

Speaker 4 (01:09:02):
The door shutters in the doorway for a moment.
Everyone give me deck saves.

Speaker 1 (01:09:11):
Oh, that's not good.
I say it says I get advantageon deck, saves against effects,
but you're exhausted, but I'mexhausted.

Speaker 4 (01:09:18):
So so the advantage and disadvantage cancel out and
you roll as normal, Natural 20.
Wow, that's good.

Speaker 7 (01:09:23):
Plus two 22.

Speaker 3 (01:09:24):
Mm-hmm.

Speaker 6 (01:09:25):
Second one, right, that's a 17.

Speaker 4 (01:09:29):
All of you are able to duck just in time as the door
beautiful ancient Vaharian, youknow engravings on it shatters
into a million splinters.

Speaker 6 (01:09:44):
That's how you open the door.

Speaker 1 (01:09:46):
Uh, Ladiouanti instinctively just tries to
shield everyone from it.

Speaker 3 (01:09:49):
These aren't Like we're in the car.
Yeah, like you're on the car, like you're all her daughters or
something.

Speaker 1 (01:09:53):
Be careful, be careful, be careful, be careful,
be careful on stepping on allthe shards putting herself in
front.
Be careful.

Speaker 3 (01:10:01):
Nani oh my God, she's going to rage.
Whether she wants to or not,you need to know what that word
means, to know that that is theOkay okay okay, dramma.
Do we see?
What do we see through thedoorway?

Speaker 4 (01:10:16):
These two bonded.

Speaker 7 (01:10:18):
I'm holding a book.

Speaker 8 (01:10:20):
I'm like trying to.

Speaker 4 (01:10:21):
These two dorks.

Speaker 1 (01:10:24):
These are my nephews, the young nephews.

Speaker 3 (01:10:29):
We go in other books.
Anything else going on exceptfor these two doing what they're
doing, nothing else moving.

Speaker 8 (01:10:38):
Sitara, you're here.
Oh my gosh, you're alive.

Speaker 3 (01:10:41):
Okay, yes, yes, we can talk about that later.
We have to get out of here.

Speaker 8 (01:10:44):
Okay, just avoid the books.
Yeah, and someone can help mestop writing.

Speaker 7 (01:10:49):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:10:53):
I'm trying to get you to stop.
That's unfortunate for you.
No, mat 20.

Speaker 7 (01:11:00):
Oh, that's.

Speaker 4 (01:11:00):
With my magical quill .

Speaker 7 (01:11:02):
So you take Good how much.

Speaker 4 (01:11:04):
You take 10 points of piercing damage as the quill
goes through your hand.

Speaker 8 (01:11:09):
No, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it.
It's not me I scream.

Speaker 1 (01:11:15):
Let her do brushes over to, to envelop you in a hug
.

Speaker 3 (01:11:20):
I look at the book.
I can speak celestial.
Do I have any?
I know it's not the same as abissel, but is there any
relation, sort of, since there'stwo sides of the same coin?

Speaker 4 (01:11:30):
It's the letters like look familiar, but it's like
the difference between Hindi andPunjabi.
You can grab some letters, butthe sentences as a whole, the
words as a whole don't makesense to you.

Speaker 3 (01:11:43):
I'm going to cast cure wounds on him.
Is the quilt still in?

Speaker 1 (01:11:47):
his hand, or is it?
Yeah, I can pull it out, yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:11:50):
He probably pulled it out.
It's like super glued to Ash'shand.
You're not supposed to touchstuff in here.

Speaker 3 (01:11:57):
What do you know about this room?

Speaker 8 (01:11:59):
A little aid for that .

Speaker 4 (01:12:00):
This is a domain of dread.

Speaker 1 (01:12:02):
You can't just go around touching stuff.
What does domain of dread mean?

Speaker 4 (01:12:07):
Ooh, oh no, no, you opened up a can of worms.
Um yeah, everyone, give me ahistory check to see or an
arcana check Do you want me todraw it?

Speaker 1 (01:12:17):
No, you would know, You're a college of spirits,
barron.
Has anyone else guided youbefore?
Yeah, guidance, thank you.
Okay, perfect.

Speaker 8 (01:12:24):
I cast guidance myself.
What are we casting?
I'm giving myself guidance.

Speaker 4 (01:12:28):
History to see if you've heard of it 19.

Speaker 1 (01:12:30):
Definitely have not.

Speaker 4 (01:12:31):
I keep saying history or investigation, so we're
going to say this one'sdefinitely history, okay 19.
Was that with disadvantage?

Speaker 1 (01:12:38):
No, Jasmine.
What are you asking me?
Ask the hell 14.
Nat 20.
So 19.

Speaker 3 (01:12:46):
19, okay, Seven plus one eight Eight.

Speaker 7 (01:12:51):
And is history right.

Speaker 3 (01:12:53):
Yes.
Hmm, ten.

Speaker 4 (01:12:57):
I'm pretty dumb over here.
Yeah, those of you with over a12 would know that a and you
would know this if you wouldlike to tell the party that a
domain of dread is an area thatis soaked and steeped in the
evil of a dread lord.

(01:13:17):
This is a place where the lordholds power and distorts reality
itself.
It's a dangerous place to beand oftentimes very difficult to
escape.
You can provide them withadditional information as you

(01:13:38):
see fit.

Speaker 6 (01:13:40):
Well, on top of everything that you already know
, it's like really bad to be inhere.

Speaker 1 (01:13:45):
Tell us more tell us everything you know.
Can I intimidate her?
It's.
If she's not, no, I'm messingup, please, huh.

Speaker 5 (01:13:52):
Please.
You should say please, no, Ithought you wanted anything.

Speaker 1 (01:13:57):
Can I intimidate her?
I don't think.
What you want to do is sayplease.

Speaker 4 (01:14:01):
I don't know what, andi would say please, it's like
intimidate versus your what'sit called Insight.
Okay, to say that she's notabout it.

Speaker 8 (01:14:12):
My parents have never said please, I know I've said
it, this is a story.

Speaker 1 (01:14:15):
That is amazing.
You think I'm being annoying, but Andi would never say please.
That's true.

Speaker 3 (01:14:20):
My parents would never say please.

Speaker 1 (01:14:22):
Also, what's that roll?
I got a 16 for disadvantage.

Speaker 5 (01:14:25):
Pretty good Hold on hold on, I don't even need to
say it, you in, okay, so shecomes up to you, she goes hey,
tell us more about this roomright now.

Speaker 1 (01:14:39):
And she has like venom in her throat and she is
motioning to pick up her shoelike she's gonna hit you.

Speaker 6 (01:14:45):
No, don't pick up the shoe, I'll tell you, I'll tell
you okay, okay, just a little, let's just step back a little.

Speaker 5 (01:14:53):
So this is some place that has been infected by the
ruler of the fortress.

Speaker 3 (01:15:02):
Infected or affected.

Speaker 5 (01:15:04):
Infected is probably more accurate.

Speaker 3 (01:15:06):
Okay, do you say the name Dulve?

Speaker 1 (01:15:09):
Sorry, I don't know that what you want to know.
I was just Sorry sorry, sorry, dulve Dul.

Speaker 3 (01:15:15):
Dulve, that's who was speaking to me in the earth.
That's not good.

Speaker 7 (01:15:20):
That's also who wrote this journal, that I was
writing that's also not good.
Who also used the earth tobuild an army.

Speaker 3 (01:15:26):
Yeah, that's also a problem.

Speaker 6 (01:15:27):
Can I?

Speaker 3 (01:15:28):
investigate to see if there are any books that might
help us figure out how to getout of here.

Speaker 4 (01:15:33):
Before that you wanted to.

Speaker 1 (01:15:35):
Ludu Ante has felt very useless in a lot of areas
of her life.
What she doesn't have?
The education her siblings had.
She never got married.
She doesn't have children ofher own.
She can cook, she can provide.
She didn't succeed in drivingthe ship on this mission.
There's many areas she doesn'tfeel good in.

(01:15:56):
She does feel good in beinglike we're gonna get the fuck
out of here.
So she looks around, she hearsthis demon spirit.
She's like we're not hangingaround here anymore.
She looks around for a secretpassageway to leave.

Speaker 4 (01:16:10):
Yeah, With your knowledge earlier that these
areas or forts like thistypically have secret
passageways out.
You think you would have an eyefor this, you think you know
what you're looking for and itwould dawn on you to check the

(01:16:34):
perimeter to get you know, liketo start circling the outside of
the fort because that's whereyou're most likely to find a
passageway out.
The other thing that wouldoccur to you is, with that role
earlier, knowing that suchpassages were often for either
smuggling in and out rations, foods, things that people needed

(01:16:56):
to survive in case of a siege, and royal family members, that
it would behoove you to checkeither the quarters of the
people that were kind of incharge of this fort or the
scullery like the kitchen.

Speaker 7 (01:17:08):
If I see you doing this, can I actually help?

Speaker 4 (01:17:11):
You may help.

Speaker 7 (01:17:12):
Okay, I'm gonna shut down my suit and I'm gonna pull
my amethyst out and Bacha isgonna like reassemble.

Speaker 1 (01:17:18):
Oh, my God, incredible.
And then.

Speaker 7 (01:17:21):
I'm gonna be like all right, Bacha, I need you to
help Bacha, I need you to helpLadoenty, and I'm gonna Angie
Bacha, hey, and I'm gonna giveyou the femur and ask you to fly
, like with Ladoenty, like overto Ladoenty so cute and I pat
and I look around for that moth.

(01:17:41):
That was like imitating.

Speaker 3 (01:17:43):
It's like since it disappeared, or the little bugs,
okay, but anyway, I just likekind of like, what is Natasha
spit at, like the generaldirection, what is Natasha up to
?

Speaker 4 (01:17:51):
You notice like she's like observing you all while on
her, while on her stone, oh, ohno.
So we're here in the heart ofthe crooked sun fort with a
bunch of elderly people, but I'mgonna help them get out of here
because I have a sacred stagafrom my grandma and it keeps me

(01:18:17):
safe, no matter what.
Praise the divine beings.
Um, yeah, I think.
I think they don't know what adomain of dread is.
One of them touched something.
He's probably gonna die.
Now he has a pen stuck to hishead and he can't get it off.
He probably won't be able towipe his butt anymore.

(01:18:38):
Okay, hey, natasha, let's signoff and say goodbye.

Speaker 5 (01:18:40):
We'll also get the part about that.
He cut up his hand to save hislife.

Speaker 3 (01:18:44):
I'll come back later if things get spicy Did I hear
you say you were going to helpus out?
I can.

Speaker 4 (01:18:51):
Would you please, Dottie?
Yeah, I would like it to behelped.
Okay, but I want an interview.
What's it like to have a penstuck to you?

Speaker 8 (01:18:59):
I feel super weird.
This guy's penmanship is likecrazy.

Speaker 4 (01:19:03):
Are you experiencing a desire to hurt yourself or
other people?

Speaker 8 (01:19:07):
I mean, I've already stabbed my friend once.
I don't want to do it, I'msorry.

Speaker 4 (01:19:11):
I didn't mean to do it.
What compelled you to touch acursed item?
I'm trying to find a way out ofhere.
Did you know it was cursed?
No, why didn't you know it wascursed?

Speaker 8 (01:19:21):
Because I didn't check.

Speaker 4 (01:19:22):
Can you not sense divinity?
I mean, I guess I could have.
Oh, that's so embarrassing foryou.

Speaker 8 (01:19:27):
Thanks for that, yes.

Speaker 4 (01:19:28):
Auntie, I can definitely help you.

Speaker 3 (01:19:31):
I'm getting used to the auntie thing.
I hate to say it.
Wonderful darling.
What should we do to help you?
Help us.

Speaker 4 (01:19:39):
Get out of here.
Yeah, oh, um, um.
Well, we should probably helpYesananima.

Speaker 1 (01:19:49):
You can say La Du Auntie, it's okay.

Speaker 3 (01:19:52):
I think she's being taken care of with them, but
what about helping?

Speaker 8 (01:19:56):
Can I say, before we cut back to these guys, I did
roll a 21 for my investigation.
Check that we learned, so Idon't know if that helps me
learn something.
Yeah, I'm not done.

Speaker 4 (01:20:07):
It does.
You are able to find a tonethat doesn't teach you a bissel,
but does tell you somethingvery valuable.
You find a tone that speaks ofthe Feywilds and how those that

(01:20:28):
are deemed unworthy ofredemption are removed from the
cycle of life and death andbanished to the Feywild.
And in this book you also readyou might want to write this
down.

Speaker 7 (01:20:44):
With the other hand.

Speaker 4 (01:20:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:20:45):
I know Lefty, Okay great.

Speaker 4 (01:20:48):
Of an ancient war that took place on Rock Dibba.
Between and this only this tomeonly tells you what one side
was a group called the MagusStratum, an order of deities
whose goal it was to judge thewicked and determine whether or
not humanity was worthy ofredemption.
They oftentimes determined whowould be banished to the Feywild

(01:21:13):
, including Roxyas Jin, alltypes of matters of entities
that they found to be chaotic orotherwise unworthy of rebirth.

Speaker 8 (01:21:26):
That's cool.

Speaker 1 (01:21:27):
Do you share that information?

Speaker 3 (01:21:29):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (01:21:30):
Omar shared the information about what he found
in the Tolve book.

Speaker 7 (01:21:33):
Yeah, I would have.

Speaker 4 (01:21:35):
But as you ask, as you ask, do you ask Natasha to
help?

Speaker 3 (01:21:43):
Uh yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:21:45):
You're asking generations to help.
She's gonna use a third-levelspell slot.

Speaker 4 (01:21:49):
Oh, when did you?
This isn't gonna feel good, ash, because it's Natasha doing
this.

Speaker 1 (01:21:58):
You.
It's like when the intern takesyour blood.

Speaker 8 (01:22:02):
Oh my God, yeah, oh man, I have to go she takes her
trunk, we'll find a veinsomewhere.

Speaker 4 (01:22:07):
She takes her trunk.
She takes the sacred threadfrom her wrist onto her trunk
and then she goes Shaton be gone.
And smacks you square in themiddle of your forehead with her
trunk.
No way, casting, remove, curse.
You feel electricity like justjet through your body, out

(01:22:32):
through your limbs, kind of likeyou've butt-chugged sprite.

Speaker 8 (01:22:36):
Cool.

Speaker 4 (01:22:37):
And then you see, like a small red spot begin to
form where she smacked youunsimroniously on the head.

Speaker 8 (01:22:45):
Oh, she gave me a chom-a-chom-a-chom Bindi.

Speaker 3 (01:22:47):
Ooh A chom-a-chom.

Speaker 8 (01:22:50):
Do I get to release the?

Speaker 4 (01:22:52):
You do, Okay cool, I can only do that once.
So now no one touched anything.
Cursed.

Speaker 3 (01:22:59):
Did you.
Now has he shed it.

Speaker 8 (01:23:03):
Yeah, let me tell you everything that I read.

Speaker 6 (01:23:05):
Blah-blah.

Speaker 3 (01:23:06):
Blah-blah-blah.
Wait, the Feywild, yes.
What does that mean somethingto you?
That's what Dolve told me, thatmy parents were, and I don't
understand.
They've been banished.
He said that, yes, but they saythat it's somewhere where
horrible people who have doneunforgivable things have gone.
And my parents were not.
They were not horrible, no.

Speaker 8 (01:23:26):
No, what could they possibly have done?
It's a misunderstanding.

Speaker 5 (01:23:29):
And with them, though it's another thing, I've
bounced it.

Speaker 1 (01:23:32):
Heh, that's true.
Very, very good people, veryhonorable parents.

Speaker 7 (01:23:37):
Yes, you don't know them.

Speaker 1 (01:23:40):
You don't get to say that.

Speaker 7 (01:23:43):
Well, I'm sure.

Speaker 6 (01:23:48):
Who are you again?
Hello, I'm Iman.

Speaker 7 (01:23:51):
Imanita, imanita, uh-huh, nice to meet you.

Speaker 6 (01:23:55):
Nice to meet you.

Speaker 7 (01:23:56):
Marca, I'm Ash.
I'm surprised you're alive.
Oh, I'm surprised you're here.
Like howwhat are you doing inthis location?

Speaker 6 (01:24:05):
Oh, I study spirits and talked about dead and all
that.

Speaker 5 (01:24:08):
Oh Okay, I wonder how you rescued your friend.

Speaker 3 (01:24:12):
She was some kind of spiritual companion that I was
guided here with.

Speaker 7 (01:24:18):
So you saved her.

Speaker 6 (01:24:20):
Yup.

Speaker 7 (01:24:21):
Well, we're in youruh Debt, Debt.
Thank you, you don't have totravel with that word I did.
I can still feel it piercingthrough my hand.
Uh, thank you very much.
You're on the key very hard.

Speaker 3 (01:24:35):
I'm not saying anything to her because now I am
, I am in my mind, puttinggoingthrough the motions of these
gods.
Have put judgment on my parents.
And how dare they put judgmenton my parents?
How dare they decide that theywere irredeemable?

Speaker 1 (01:24:50):
With that information that Tsutara has shared,
because Ladooanti did not knowthat about her parents.
She is now going through thismindset of like these people
that judge other people anddecide who is good and who is
bad, and she is like what is notan auntie, but a person who
does the very same thing to herown family, and she's having a

(01:25:13):
tiny existential crisis.

Speaker 3 (01:25:15):
Yes, no, no, no, Wait , wait, wait.
I have athere's like, athere'slike a way we want to do these
okay, because these are alllikethey, all have different
vibes, they all have differentenergies.

(01:25:35):
You justyou really want to takeyour time with each one of
these, okay.
For example, these gorgeousbabies are the legend of the
holiday.
They have a nice face and waittill you hear.

Speaker 1 (01:25:50):
That sounds like Christmas.

Speaker 3 (01:25:51):
Do you hear that Little Christmas jingling?
It's like ASMR so delicious,it's so, so good and they're
gorgeous and they have littleanimals from Norse mythology on
them.
So they're watching over youwhile you play.
Then these guys are the IceDragon Eye Dice.
I really, really like these, and they're a little scary too
while you're rolling.
It's like they're looking atyou while you roll.

(01:26:13):
Did you roll high enough?
Did you not roll high enough?
They've got a whole likepersonality to them.
And then these these areRagnar's Bone Dice, made of
ethically sourced water buffalobone.
So they are actual bone, andwhat's so cool about it is that
as the natural oils from yourskin transfer into the bone dice

(01:26:35):
, they actually look like.
The look becomes even moreprominent and they become so
much more beautiful and I lovethem so much I brush.

Speaker 1 (01:26:43):
I'm supposed to put my oils in there, not you.

Speaker 3 (01:26:45):
Oh, okay, well, my oils are already kind of on here
now.

Speaker 1 (01:26:49):
So no, no.
You got your oils all over thatone, so let's see what other
stuff you got.
Yeah, I mean the truck iswaiting outside, but here's
what's here.
I noticed they had a Frisbeesection on the website.

Speaker 3 (01:27:00):
Oh no, not exactly.
These are dice rolling traysand they are very convenient
because you can take them apartand then you can roll them up
and you can put them awayanytime that you don't need to
be using them.
So this has been so much fun.
I am.
I thank you for trusting me togive you this information
because I feel like it's a veryimportant part of your education

(01:27:21):
, Absolutely as an indie player, and good luck to you.
I think it's going to be fun.
May you, may the may the greatdice gods roll in your favor.

Speaker 1 (01:27:32):
Did she take all my stuff?

Speaker 3 (01:27:47):
We have to get out of here.
We have to leave.

Speaker 5 (01:27:50):
now there are other ways to get to the farewell
rather than being punished.
Right, Excuse me, there areother reasons.
I mean, maybe your parents didsomething bad, but the, the, the
, not the people know not a lotof people.
But people can end up indifferent realms for other
reasons.
What reasons?
Well, they walked the report, they pissed someone off.
They looked under the wrongroute in a tree.

Speaker 3 (01:28:13):
But why would they go there voluntarily if it's full
of ruckus?

Speaker 5 (01:28:16):
I did not say it was voluntary.
Nope, you can just sort of endup there, fair enough.

Speaker 1 (01:28:22):
Do you have the ability to know why a particular
group if we were to give you adescription of these people to,
do you have any history orknowledge of that kind of reason
why someone would be put there?
Do I?

Speaker 4 (01:28:36):
Give me a religion check.

Speaker 6 (01:28:40):
That is not good, okay, that's a 12.

Speaker 4 (01:28:45):
You think it's.
It's the same thing as achaotic good versus a lawful
good.
Sometimes it's how laws areinterpreted, not really how
they're written.
That might lead to somebodybeing banished to the Feywild.
Maybe that didn't deserve it.

Speaker 6 (01:28:59):
Yeah, I mean also laws.
Are, you know, open tointerpretation?

Speaker 5 (01:29:04):
And if someone decides that, you know they
shouldn't follow this law andthen they break it because it's
stupid.
They can end up there becausethey're being punished, because
the law is a law, but you knowit's not necessarily good.

Speaker 3 (01:29:14):
I just I don't understand what the good because
they possibly have done therecould have been I.
Can we figure this out?

Speaker 7 (01:29:21):
I just want to get out of here.
Let's do it.
Can you look for?

Speaker 4 (01:29:23):
a I'm going to do an.
You have butchak casting lightkind of floating with you,
gorgeous.

Speaker 1 (01:29:29):
This is an investigation.
Auntie, auntie, oh goodness, Igive him another mechanical ado.

Speaker 4 (01:29:37):
And you roll with advantage for his perception
check and you roll withadvantage as well, okay, On
investigation or perception.

Speaker 8 (01:29:43):
I just wanted to check in on you On investigation
.

Speaker 7 (01:29:46):
Oh, you know I'm good After stabbing you.

Speaker 1 (01:29:50):
Because I gave him a kill wounds.
So first one was Nat one.
Oh, you did, I thought that was.
Nat one.
Okay, eight, I thought that wasanother Nat one.
You also have disadvantage, soI guess, oh, it was just the Nat
one, so out of I got a 17.
What's butchak?
Modifier.

Speaker 4 (01:30:06):
I think a 17 is still good enough.

Speaker 1 (01:30:08):
Story rise led you on to you rolled poorly because
she is having an existentialcrisis of if she is keeping
Sitara and people in her lifetrapped the way like Pulve feels
, oh, I have to keep everyonehere to keep them safe, and all
of that so she's rolling likedog shit.

Speaker 4 (01:30:28):
Yeah, you're like distracted, as these musings are
kind of like falling on you andyou miss something that butchak
picks up on.
Because I think, regardless ofmodifier, unless it's crazy
negative, a 17 should do it.

Speaker 7 (01:30:42):
Yeah, I mean, wisdom is zero, so it's gonna be.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:30:45):
As long as it's not like a negative four, it's good.
Yeah, he just need to beat a 15.
You see, butchak, stop, asyou're like kind of moving
around and goes assessingenvironment egress and it like
shines its little bone lighttowards a cellar egress.

Speaker 1 (01:31:06):
Oh, okay, so I will start walking towards that
cellar, yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:31:11):
I'll follow her, but I've got one eye on Iman.

Speaker 6 (01:31:14):
Why are you staring at me?
All I did was be nice to you, Ibrought you back.

Speaker 5 (01:31:19):
No, you did, you did but, Don't blame me for this
stuff with your parents.

Speaker 3 (01:31:23):
I don't know anything about that.
I'm not blaming you.
You've just been verywithholding about yourself and
about where you've come from.

Speaker 5 (01:31:31):
Well, that's me about me.

Speaker 3 (01:31:32):
We have several times .

Speaker 5 (01:31:34):
Really.

Speaker 6 (01:31:35):
Yes, I don't want to remember that.

Speaker 3 (01:31:39):
Iman, where are you from?

Speaker 5 (01:31:43):
Where am I from?

Speaker 4 (01:31:45):
You're from Bahaar?
Yeah, I'm from.

Speaker 3 (01:31:47):
Bahaar.
Well, yes, that's a bit why areyou here?

Speaker 6 (01:31:53):
Oh, that I told you.
I'm here to study the spiritsthat are here.

Speaker 3 (01:31:58):
So was that how you speak to the person who?

Speaker 6 (01:32:01):
Yes, I talked to the spirits that are dead.

Speaker 3 (01:32:04):
But the one who told you to bring me home.

Speaker 5 (01:32:08):
Some spirits are more demanding than others.

Speaker 6 (01:32:10):
But that was the whole thing.
That's kind of a problem.
That's very bad.
Well, no, it wasn't.

Speaker 3 (01:32:14):
Dulve, it was Okay.
Have you ever heard the wordNourin?

Speaker 4 (01:32:20):
You have Mm-hmm Nourin.
At one point was patron saintof your household.

Speaker 6 (01:32:29):
Yes, I have heard that name.

Speaker 3 (01:32:32):
Do you not remember her telling you to bring me here
?

Speaker 5 (01:32:35):
I do.
I just did not realize it washer.
Nourin is the patron saint ofmy household.

Speaker 3 (01:32:44):
Ah, mm.
So that's all we needed to knowis that you're genuinely
friendly.

Speaker 4 (01:32:49):
Yeah, she's it.
She is friendly and it's timefor you guys to go so we can
continue our video.

Speaker 6 (01:32:57):
Not that I do much on camera, yeah, yeah it's time
for you Go Bye.

Speaker 4 (01:33:02):
You found a way out.

Speaker 6 (01:33:03):
Right off we go.
We're really just gonna leavethem to go down to that cellar.

Speaker 5 (01:33:07):
They're fine Are you sure.

Speaker 3 (01:33:10):
Thank you, joe to.
And then I'm just going to saythank you, thank you for your
help, Joe to yeah and don't dojumps over towards you.
Tell me off we go.

Speaker 1 (01:33:24):
Auntie.
So, yeah, I go down this cellarwith Bacha leading with the
little bone I'm trying to snifflike are we going to a scullery?
Are we going to where?
Where is this route, seller?
Where is this leading?

Speaker 4 (01:33:37):
It's like past the scullery, deep down into what
looks to be like the Systemunderneath, like a water system
underneath the fort.
You would know at a glance thatat one point you see, like
these now inert crystals thatused to pump Water through small

(01:33:57):
channels around the perimeterof every room and it was an
ancient form of air conditioningthis cooled water would run
through.
This is actually real.
Yeah, these crystals would Coolthe water down and then this
propulsion system would push itthrough these channels and you

(01:34:18):
are now coming into what is thesort of septic system.
But, like I said, it was cleanwater underneath, as you like,
begin to go down.
You and and you of courseprobably staying close to
butchum, like sort of ourfollowing this system.
When you hear Butchers voicecome to you Says papa, papa.

(01:34:45):
Papa.

Speaker 7 (01:34:48):
Yes, but yeah, papa, I look to see where if butchers
with La Duantie.

Speaker 4 (01:34:57):
He stopped moving after La Duantie and as he turns
, you notice the eyes haveshifted to a sickly purple color
.

Speaker 7 (01:35:04):
Butch, it was wrong.

Speaker 4 (01:35:05):
I rush over to him, papa, but I'm not a real boy and
I'll never be a real boy.
Butch, what are you talkingabout?
And you only love things thatdo what you ask of them.
That's not true at all, and ifI was ever my own person, you

(01:35:29):
wouldn't love me.

Speaker 7 (01:35:30):
What is anyone else hearing?
This Is anyone.

Speaker 8 (01:35:39):
What do we see?
You don't really love me.

Speaker 7 (01:35:42):
That's not true.

Speaker 4 (01:35:43):
Why you're not my dad ?

Speaker 7 (01:35:44):
That's my creator.
That's absolutely not true,butcha.
That's not true in theslightest.

Speaker 4 (01:35:50):
What's going on?
I'm gonna be a child forever,is this?

Speaker 1 (01:35:54):
seller like of your worst nightmares.
It's not like what is happeningdown here.

Speaker 7 (01:36:00):
Pens that stab my child wanting to grow up.
Butcha, none of that's true.
Why did you make me?
I'm Made you.
I Made you to to have a child, sure, but I made you because I

(01:36:22):
knew you were out theresomewhere and I Wanted to just
give you form and what happenswhen you find a real child of
your own.

Speaker 4 (01:36:32):
What then?
Like these clay constructs alllie discarded in a pile
somewhere that would neverhappen, because I love you make
a persuasion check guy.

Speaker 3 (01:36:51):
No, sorry those involuntary.
Well, you saw guidance.

Speaker 7 (01:36:55):
Yeah, yeah, how much is that again?
1d4, great.
So 1d4 plus a one.
Oh, great, that's gonna bethree plus two, five.
My suit Starts to like were andgear up as I figure out what's

(01:37:39):
happening.
I'm not the one who's dead.
You have laid a veryinteresting laboratory for us to
go through.
A Prison of your own making youtrying to kill us is one thing,
because you'll fail.
You using magic to stab me isanother, because I do like this

(01:38:03):
hand a lot.
You speaking with my child'svoice.
I will find your soul, orwhatever is left of it, and I'm
going to electrocute it slowly.
I am going to tear you threadfrom thread and your screams Are
going to echo through a forestthat cares not for your

(01:38:26):
existence.
Do you understand me, tolvie?

Speaker 4 (01:38:30):
Roll intimidation with advantage.

Speaker 7 (01:38:37):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (01:38:45):
That's a dirty 20.
I rolled a five on the die.
The purple light flits out ofbutchers eyes, and butchers is
papa and I pull butcha to me asquickly as possible.

Speaker 7 (01:39:00):
Papa but you, anything you need to do,
anything you want to do, you can.
You can do anything you wantglitch?
I know Glitch hurt papa, I'm sosorry glitch hurt.
Oh, I'm okay, it's okay.
I mean, man out there is beingan asshole, don't worry about it

(01:39:20):
.
This is a new realm for me andI turn and I'm like crying, like

(01:39:43):
a tear streaming down, are youokay?
No, I'm not alright.
Tolvie is here somewhere.
Spoke to me through butcha.

Speaker 8 (01:39:51):
He's messing with our heads.

Speaker 3 (01:39:52):
I think it's better that we just get out of here,
get out of whatever he can getto us.
Can we keep going?

Speaker 4 (01:39:58):
Yes, and you continue to proceed through this water
treatment plant as you do.
The air gets colder, as thoughthe crystals, the mechanisms
that harness this cooling power, are inert.
The crystals themselves stillhave a latent sort of frost
coming off of them.

(01:40:19):
You can see your breath Intoyour dismay.
You can see forms in the mistaround you.
I don't like it.
Go ahead, keep going this way.
They part to let you pass andyou reach a chamber deep below

(01:40:45):
the fort.
You come upon a door Hanginghigh on the ground.
You see a door Hanging halfopen and in front of you you see

(01:41:05):
Long, thin wooden spikes, thebottom of a pit trap.
You hear the sounds of theflooded forest above you.
You are at the bottom access, maybe at one point where they

(01:41:27):
cleaned corpses out of what ismost assuredly a pitfall trap, a
spike trap.
You would know that if you canmake it the 80 feet to the top,
you would be in the open worldagain.

Speaker 8 (01:41:45):
Ash, just immediately , you know thinking that you
know, part of a banana, so I canclimb pretty well, right?
So I just started checking thewalls to see if there's any sort
of grip I could get, or my tailcould grab something so I could
get, maybe to the top, yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:42:01):
Give me a sleight of hand check do you have any like
climbing equipment?

Speaker 8 (01:42:07):
I have rope, I think, just kind of the usual backpack
stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:42:12):
And at the same time I'll tell Chotu, chotu, go up,
go, go, go go.

Speaker 8 (01:42:19):
I always bring my pretzels with me and they get.
They are very useful in manydifferent ways.
You know I let them get staleand so if I tie them to the end
of the rope I can kind of use itto grapple.
It's one of the many uses of mypretzels.
It's a very strong pretzel.

(01:42:40):
You just have to know thedifferent breeds of the pretzel.

Speaker 3 (01:42:43):
What an impressive place this pretzel world is.
I would love to take you theresomeday.
Yes, I'd love to go so this ismy rules.

Speaker 4 (01:42:49):
You attempt to climb up and Natasha awkwardly kind of
begins to like push you backinto the fort and says, well,
it's been fun, but I guess weshould go now.
Come on, come on, iman.

Speaker 3 (01:43:09):
Can I do an inside check?
Because it seems like if she'skind of being awkward, I don't
like it, I don't trust it.
Yeah, go ahead and roll inside.

Speaker 4 (01:43:16):
Gotten.

Speaker 3 (01:43:18):
Gotten, yeah, yeah, I don't, I don't Nothing.
Did you want to roll as?

Speaker 1 (01:43:23):
well, yes, can I roll ?
I'll roll inside first one.
18, oh wait, do I roll?
Disadvantage so.

Speaker 4 (01:43:35):
Um, yeah, you guys haven't had a short rest yet,
yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:43:38):
Can I roll inside as well?

Speaker 4 (01:43:40):
Yes, you may.
Yeah, 920.
Oh, that's cute.
You know she's nervous.
She's.
No because, I don't trust thisbusiness here.
Then I guess, why, you can'tguess why, but you can tell
she's getting agitated, nervousand upset.

Speaker 6 (01:43:59):
Natasha, what is wrong?

Speaker 4 (01:44:04):
I just don't think you should.
You know you shouldn't go outthere.
Okay, what's out there?
Well, no, it's just, it's not,it's it's okay, but you know you
should, you, in your condition, you shouldn't go.
What?

Speaker 6 (01:44:18):
is my condition.

Speaker 4 (01:44:19):
Because if you.

Speaker 6 (01:44:22):
If I.

Speaker 4 (01:44:26):
If you go out there, you'll disappear.
What?

Speaker 6 (01:44:33):
Let those chalk Just a little bit.
What do you mean?
Oh, I'm very dead.

Speaker 3 (01:44:40):
And you can't leave, and that's where you really are
from, mm-hmm.

Speaker 4 (01:44:45):
And as she like kind of settles in, she touches her
elephant hand to you.

Speaker 6 (01:44:56):
Mm-hmm.

Speaker 4 (01:44:59):
And restores a piece of your modified memory.
And you remember being a guard,a paladin, in service of soha
and Surya, oh Beheaded foraiding in their escape.

Speaker 6 (01:45:21):
Well, that's my insta choker anyway.
But you can't stop.

Speaker 4 (01:45:26):
And she starts like push you back into the floor.
What, what, what.

Speaker 6 (01:45:35):
What did you do to my memory?
What did you do, natasha?
You were sad.
Of course I was sad.
I'm dead.
I was fixing it.
I remember the dead part, butit didn't.
It was almost like I was numb, you know.

Speaker 5 (01:45:52):
And her head starts going to a really suspicious
angle.

Speaker 4 (01:45:58):
We should leave.
She gets a little violent whenshe gets like this.
I don't get the violent.

Speaker 6 (01:46:02):
I get the even.

Speaker 8 (01:46:04):
Oh boy we.

Speaker 6 (01:46:06):
We've been together a long time, natasha, you should
know that.

Speaker 4 (01:46:09):
We've only been together a few days.

Speaker 5 (01:46:11):
Not longer than I've been around anyone in a long
time, except for Tove.
Oh, okay, and there's two deaddaughters.

Speaker 4 (01:46:21):
This was a heel turn.
I, the DM, was not expectingyes.

Speaker 3 (01:46:24):
Okay I was going to say.
I was like do we get the sensethat she's going to hurt?
I immediately walk over andstand in front of Natasha Iman.

Speaker 6 (01:46:35):
What is it you were sad.
Did I not do enough for you?
When I saved you all?
You did a wonderful.

Speaker 3 (01:46:42):
Did.
I and Noreen would be sograteful to you, you know.

Speaker 6 (01:46:46):
Somehow that doesn't seem as important to me anymore.
What is important to you?

Speaker 2 (01:46:51):
I'm going to activate words of terror, oh okay, okay,
it's on, I'm going to do itwith the Zatara.

Speaker 5 (01:46:57):
Okay, it's a wisdom saving, throw PVP Guidance.

Speaker 3 (01:47:04):
Natural 20, not natural 20, dirty 20.

Speaker 5 (01:47:06):
So you survive, you, you succeed.
But like Iman's eyes start todrip black and veins start to
pierce her skin as it goes palefor a moment and there's like a
flash where she seems like she'sgrowing larger and larger, and
then it's gone.

Speaker 3 (01:47:21):
Natasha Darling, would you like to go on a trip
with us?
I will end the trip with you,and so I pass her behind me to
Ladou aunty and I start to backup towards the pit.

Speaker 8 (01:47:36):
I, yeah, I want everybody, but you still want my
help.

Speaker 3 (01:47:40):
You've done so much I can't possibly ask for.
I can't possibly ask for more.

Speaker 6 (01:47:48):
But you could, you'll definitely could.

Speaker 3 (01:47:52):
Ash, have you found a way out?

Speaker 4 (01:48:06):
Your pretzel minus manages to find purchase
Somewhere up above.

Speaker 8 (01:48:12):
Well, if you trust the strength of my country's
pretzels, I'll stick with it.

Speaker 3 (01:48:22):
The tourism board will be proud.

Speaker 8 (01:48:24):
Yes, then we can get out of here sink Go.

Speaker 1 (01:48:27):

Speaker 3 (01:48:28):
Sitara, you go.
I'm going to let Ladou aunty bein front of me, but I'm going
to take.
I'm going to take, but I'mgoing to be the last, because I
know these two are squishy, soI'm going to be the last and
back up.
Sorry, I'm backing up from you.

Speaker 6 (01:48:42):
You have no respect for your elders.

Speaker 5 (01:48:44):
On the contrary, I'm going to go behind one.

Speaker 1 (01:48:47):
To you.

Speaker 5 (01:48:47):
You, she respects me Plenty you scared me earlier and
I think that that was very rudeReally, because I think you're
very rude.
Hell might be in good, I'vedone nothing but help you.

Speaker 1 (01:48:59):
You're bleeding out of your eyes all over the game.
It is been rude.

Speaker 2 (01:49:04):
I'm not in the eyes, I'm not in anyone, are these
guys?

Speaker 1 (01:49:09):
I think it feels nice .
No, it's extremely distracting.
It's going to get all over yourclothes and then someone's
going to have to wash thatProbably me.

Speaker 6 (01:49:17):
I don't think that my clothes have been lost in quite
the long time.

Speaker 3 (01:49:20):
It's her, me and you guys are going up there.

Speaker 5 (01:49:23):
I'm going to cast Crown of Madness.
No, you're going to?

Speaker 3 (01:49:25):
Yeah, you're going On who On?
Who Ladou aunty?

Speaker 1 (01:49:28):
What did she cast?
Crown of Madness.
Okay, what do I do?

Speaker 5 (01:49:31):
I'm out To save, so it is a wisdom saving throw.

Speaker 3 (01:49:35):
Okay, guidance she's right in front of me, okay.

Speaker 5 (01:49:38):
DC is 14.

Speaker 1 (01:49:42):
Okay, so it's a 3 Plus Uh huh, okay, 6.
So.

Speaker 5 (01:49:50):
Tell me what it does.
You are charmed by me and atwisted Crown of Jagged Thorns
Weaves into your skull.
Okay, and you have to use youraction Before moving on all your
turns, to make a melee attackagainst a creature that I choose
.
Okay, you can make a wisdomsaving throw at the end of every

(01:50:13):
you Roll for initiative, a love.

Speaker 8 (01:50:16):
Dang it 15.

Speaker 4 (01:50:19):
You say 15, 15 yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:50:22):
Well, that's not good .
Okay, well, actually it's greatfor y'all.
But oh, this is spicy, this isvery spicy, this is very spicy.
17, 17 as well.
So what's your decks, my decksis plus through a set, so I'm
going to cast.

Speaker 3 (01:50:31):
Crown of Madness.
So I'm going to cast Crown ofMadness.
So what's your decks?
16 plus 3.
Okay, so you go first.
Then this is how cool I get touse my action.

Speaker 4 (01:50:43):
I get to use my Nava on the screen, yeah.
So you see the color drain fromIman's face.
For a moment, you see an imageOf her in her former form, a
guard Dressed in beautifulvahari and garb, with a chest

(01:51:07):
plate of painted leather, beautiful ring mail underneath.
But then this image fades andinstead you see the sink, the
cheeks sink in, you see thelight go from her eyes and you
see all of the crystals that aredown in this water treatment

(01:51:29):
facility that leads to the exitFlicker and things get dimmer
For just a moment.
Ash, you act.
First, your grappling hook hasgained purchase.
The rope is hanging down infront of you.
It's about 80 feet up.

(01:51:49):
What do you do?

Speaker 8 (01:51:51):
Is my rope all the way?
Yes, it's like all the way up.
And then how?
What's the circumference ofthis pit?

Speaker 4 (01:51:57):
It's about 15 feet.

Speaker 8 (01:51:59):
Perfect, that's a good number for me, so the first
thing I do is cast spiritguardians.

Speaker 4 (01:52:06):
What do your spirit guardians look like?

Speaker 8 (01:52:08):
So they're all a bunch of uncles and aunties that
I don't and, honestly, like Iknow I should recognize and I
probably should know who theyare You're?
Sick.

Speaker 7 (01:52:19):
Love it.

Speaker 8 (01:52:20):
And they're constantly always saying that,
and I'm trying to call themuncle and auntie and they're
like Uncle who uncle.

Speaker 2 (01:52:27):
Say my name, uncle, so I'm like why don't you say
your name first?

Speaker 8 (01:52:30):
It's very frustrating and I mostly can't understand
what they're saying, except thatI pretty much know that they're
talking about that I've eithereaten too much or not eaten
enough, so that's who they are.

Speaker 4 (01:52:42):
These spirit guardians form around you.
I believe this is aconcentration spell.
It is 10 minutes and anythingthat enters your space Takes
damage.
Correct, Correct, All right, that is your action.
Would you like to do anythingwith your bonus action?

Speaker 8 (01:52:58):
So first I have to label who.
I don't want it to affect, obviously, my goodies, but I do
want it to affect Ladoo auntieIn her current state.
I don't want to kill you.

Speaker 1 (01:53:09):
And trust me, you can't yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:53:12):
It'll take as long as Ladoo auntie.

Speaker 3 (01:53:15):
There's a reason I got behind her.
Yeah, I wasn't going to getbehind anyone until I was like,
oh yeah, thanks I just want tounderstand if that makes sense
as an affected creature.

Speaker 4 (01:53:24):
You're correct, ladoo auntie's speed would be halved
in the area, and when she entersfor the first time she has to
make a wisdom saving throw ortake some radiant damage.

Speaker 8 (01:53:35):
Yeah, yeah, and I want to center it around where
we're going to climb, so thatwe're like safe kind of to climb
.

Speaker 4 (01:53:40):
Perfect.
Yeah, you create this sort ofsafe space For you to climb up.
That's your action.
Yeah, you can use your movementto climb Half of your movement
speed.

Speaker 8 (01:53:51):
That's exactly what I want to do.

Speaker 4 (01:53:53):
Okay, so you move up ten feet.
Okay, I can't believe you onlyhave twenty.
I only have twenty, but youclimb ten feet.
Oh man, a lot of people arethirty.
Ladoo auntie has forty.
Crazy, all right.

Speaker 1 (01:54:09):
Big legs.

Speaker 4 (01:54:13):
We love big legs.
This is so fun to do.
Bye.
I know everyone can see whattheir turn is.
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, sitara.

Speaker 3 (01:54:23):
Okay, I'm.
Can I see on her current body,Not the imaginary one.
Is she wearing any, any armor, shield anklets, anything?
That seems to be some kind ofmetal.

Speaker 4 (01:54:40):
She's wearing a choker.
Before this battle started, Iactually forgot to give you this
.
Oh no.

Speaker 8 (01:54:47):
Oh, no, she gets one.

Speaker 4 (01:54:50):
You have plus one to your rolls In your dreaded state
, since you're in your awakenedstate and you're in your dread
domain Until the timer runs out.

Speaker 3 (01:55:00):
I'm going to immediately just reach out, open
up my fingers and she starts tofeel as her choker Gets hotter
and hotter and hotter as I castheat metal.
Oh Cool, that is Lalalalalala.

(01:55:21):
If the creature is okay, anycreature in physical contact
with the object Takes 2d8 firedamage, no save.
And if the creature is holdingor wearing the object and takes
the damage from it, the creaturemust succeed on a constitution
saving throw.

Speaker 5 (01:55:39):
That is its constitution.

Speaker 4 (01:55:41):
Yeah, and then add one Because of your sand timer
there 18?

Speaker 3 (01:55:45):
Where do I look to find out?
Where, up there, your save is15 Damn okay.

Speaker 7 (01:55:50):
Wait, you took off the choker.

Speaker 4 (01:55:51):
Go ahead and roll your damage Not done, oh right
right, right, right.

Speaker 3 (01:55:54):
I have to roll my damage If I got to actually do
damage, Sorry.

Speaker 4 (01:55:56):
I should use your damage the damage happens
regardless.
There's an additional effect ifthat fail, the save was made.

Speaker 3 (01:56:03):
And the damage will occur regardless.
We cast a spell using a spellslot at third level, ohio, you
get another d8, so Okay, 14damage.
Would you like to use yourbonus action or your movement.
I would like to use my movementTo get closer to the rope and
closer to him and I'm just goingto stand down and I'm going to

(01:56:27):
say, aunty, aunty, this is me,it's me, sitara, oh.

Speaker 1 (01:56:33):
Sitara?
I know no Sitara.
Oh boy, no, Well done.

Speaker 3 (01:56:39):
Aunty is on top right now.
I'm then going to tell Cho-Too,cho-too, climb, and I'm going
to have Cho-Too climb the wallInstead of climbing the rope,
since he's on fire.
I believe Cho-Too can fly.
He can glide you, said he can'tfly.

Speaker 4 (01:56:55):
No, I think when he's in his fire form he can fly.
Oh fantastic, and he was in hisfire form earlier, so he's
still in his fire form.

Speaker 3 (01:57:03):
That's what I'm saying.
Yeah, he can fly.
What I'd like him to do, then,is to fly 30 feet above, like
hover, and cough up a hairballand throw a fiery hairball at
this one Roll to hit Natural 20,I also Plus.

Speaker 5 (01:57:21):
I have to roll two concentration checks for my
spell, for kind of magic.

Speaker 3 (01:57:25):
Yes, that's.
Nine plus Three is 12 12 hitpoints.

Speaker 5 (01:57:32):
Go ahead and roll those two consaves for me Roll
two and I roll with advantagebecause of Warcaster, but I may
tend the first roll, so itdoesn't really matter.
Yeah yeah, yeah, so second roll, I'll actually just roll both
at the same time.
Yeah, that's an 18 on the die.

Speaker 4 (01:57:49):
You make both of your consaves and you are able to
maintain your crown of madnessOn.

Speaker 7 (01:57:55):
Ladoo Ante Look at the fine little puppet Marca.
I am actually going to ready inaction.
So as you come to block me, I amgoing to Send this little like
tin disk out that's got theselike spinning crystals Into like
a stone wall right by you.
This is a prepared shatterdevice, similar to how you blew

(01:58:20):
the door in.
This will do the same thing toyou, but it's not going to
activate unless you startheading towards us.
Okay, so I'm going to look atyou and go.
I've read about you.
I know what you've done.
I also have spoken to Tullimyself and I know how corrupt of
that voice can be.
Please listen to us, work withus.

(01:58:42):
We are looking to destroy him.
We're on the same side.
Persuasion.

Speaker 4 (01:58:49):
Um yeah, this would be a persuasion versus I think
I'll say insight, wait, Nat 20oh.

Speaker 7 (01:59:03):
Well, I got a 10.

Speaker 1 (01:59:06):
Oh my God, oh my God.

Speaker 4 (01:59:09):
You got us every time .

Speaker 6 (01:59:11):
Phased.
I'm sorry, did you saysomething?
Were you trying to convince meof something?

Speaker 7 (01:59:16):
Yeah, I am.

Speaker 6 (01:59:16):
Because it seems like all that's coming out to your
mouth is bullshit Lots and lotsof bullshit falling from your
lips.

Speaker 7 (01:59:23):
Yeah, alright, and I will move, like I am behind the
tar, I'm like, yeah, Iunderstand what you're saying,
but my action is ready.

Speaker 4 (01:59:32):
And you've readied an action Very well, oh Luwanti.

Speaker 1 (01:59:38):
Yes, so obviously I am not myself.
You are not so character wisedo I have to.
I think I can Do Saffi'sbidding kind of with my turn, I
think I get to pick who he getsto attack.

Speaker 5 (01:59:53):
Yes, so you have to use your action before moving To
make a melee attack on acreature against a creature
Other than itself, that youmentally, you meaning me, yeah,
so Attack Sitara.

Speaker 7 (02:00:07):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 8 (02:00:08):
Does that send her into the radius?
I think it should right.

Speaker 4 (02:00:12):
It does.
Okay, your movement speed ishalved, however, sitara, it's
still enough to reach Sitara, okay, so you take what's the 3D8
?

Speaker 7 (02:00:24):
3D8.

Speaker 4 (02:00:26):
Is that on a failed save?

Speaker 8 (02:00:28):
Um.

Speaker 4 (02:00:29):
Well, yeah, mitch, she'll be fine, so make a wisdom
save, okay, yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:00:35):
She'll be fine Wisdom save.
Am I still at disadvantage?

Speaker 4 (02:00:40):
No, I'm gonna say no because You're not being
controlled.

Speaker 8 (02:00:43):
Now I'm under a control.
Yeah, yeah 18 yeah she made it,so you only get half the damage
.
I believe right.

Speaker 4 (02:00:50):
Um, yeah, it must make a wisdom saving.
Throw on a failed, save On asuccessful yes, so it'd be half
as much.

Speaker 8 (02:00:59):
You get half of it, 18 Nine which is nine.

Speaker 3 (02:01:03):
Okay, so nine damage.
I've never loved aunties andaunties more in my life.

Speaker 4 (02:01:06):
And then go ahead and roll to hit.

Speaker 8 (02:01:10):
Sorry, I'm so sorry, auntie, I'll heal you later.
I am no auntie of yours.

Speaker 1 (02:01:14):
Okay.
Oh my.
God.
Okay, so I am.
Does Safi get to pick what myattack is, or do I pick?

Speaker 4 (02:01:24):
Um, I believe, I believe Safi gets to pick.
Let me see your character,please.

Speaker 7 (02:01:28):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 1 (02:01:30):
Yeah, oh, that's nice .
And then I also have the backattack.
Yeah, it has to be a meleeattack, however.

Speaker 4 (02:01:34):
Okay, melee, it has to be a melee attack.

Speaker 1 (02:01:35):
So these are the.
All of these are melee, yeah, okay, so an auntie you've never
recommended.
This is not your auntie.
She's a woman she's neverrecognized.
She in fact sees you as someonewho's hurting her niece.

Speaker 6 (02:01:52):
No, thank you, auntie .

Speaker 1 (02:01:55):
Ah, protect me and must protect that which is her
niece, at all costs, mm, mm.
And with that rage in her heart, she rolls an 18 to hit it's.
Oh God, damage is eight.

(02:02:15):
Okay, so that's her firstattack Fuck me.
And then with her second, thatis a nat 20.

Speaker 4 (02:02:25):
Oh, my gosh Roll double damage Dai.

Speaker 8 (02:02:29):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (02:02:33):
With fury in her heart.
Oh no, she gives you 12 damage, okay.

Speaker 3 (02:02:40):
Okay, okay, we're okay, and I realize at this
point there's no fixing thisuntil we take her down, so I'm
not even gonna try to talk toAuntie.
Uh, can I, can I speak datingthis time?
Am I allowed to speak?

Speaker 1 (02:02:54):
On your turn.
Can I speak?
Yes, yes.
I take you down, I turn to youAre you okay, mm.

Speaker 6 (02:03:03):
No, I've never been better Auntie, okay, because.

Speaker 1 (02:03:07):
I heard your story.
I know those guards.
I know Tule was not kind to youand that is not good.
That is very not good.
You should not have been keptand contained.
I have learned now.
You should not have been keptand contained in this world.

Speaker 6 (02:03:23):
We can always rely on you, Auntie.

Speaker 1 (02:03:25):
Absolutely, Absolutely Anyone who wanted to
hurt you, to keep you contained,to keep you not being yourself.
It's not right and she kind oftries to persuade her of her own
tragedy and gives her sympathyand compassion.

Speaker 4 (02:03:41):
Yeah, go ahead and make a persuasion check.

Speaker 5 (02:03:45):
Oh my gosh.
Make a roll about Because youmight be able to break.

Speaker 4 (02:03:49):
Yeah, you'll make a wisdom save at the end of your
check.
Okay, Mm-hmm.

Speaker 1 (02:03:53):
So persuasion 11.

Speaker 5 (02:03:56):
Going to roll inside.

Speaker 4 (02:03:58):
I don't think that's high enough.
Yeah, okay.

Speaker 1 (02:04:01):
So wisdom, save it though.

Speaker 3 (02:04:03):
Yeah, come on, hogi, can I guide her?
No, I'm not, for her 13.

Speaker 6 (02:04:07):
Unfortunately not.
God damn it Dondi yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:04:11):
I wasn't allowed to guide her?
Was I?
Because she's not.
You fall deeper into thisillusion, yeah, into this deceit
Like this is Like this is myniece, your niece.

Speaker 1 (02:04:23):
I give her a love do.
You look fine oh.

Speaker 6 (02:04:26):
I am but love, a love do.
I really would.
Oh, oh, oh, my God.

Speaker 3 (02:04:32):
How'd you see in this ?
Why is this a big deal to you?
It's not my, that's not myauntie.
Yes, Okay.
But I will say, sitara just isconti Beautiful singing voice.

Speaker 1 (02:04:44):
Is this something wrong?

Speaker 6 (02:04:46):
No, of course it's something over the microphone,
I'm hearing something.

Speaker 3 (02:04:49):
Yeah, no, I've never been that angry.
Yes, natasha's turn.

Speaker 4 (02:04:57):
Natasha is first going to cast sanctuary on
Sitara using her bonus action.
You see her whip kind of crackout and then it like settles in
a coil around you, forming thisethereal shield.
Any creature who targets youwith an attack or harmful spell
must first make a wisdom save.

(02:05:18):
On a failed save, the creaturemust choose a new target or lose
the attack or spell.

Speaker 1 (02:05:25):
And she says leave my auntie alone.
Thank you, Betty.
New monarchy.

Speaker 3 (02:05:35):
No one's getting used to it.

Speaker 4 (02:05:38):
And then, with a golden light in her eyes, she
locks eyes with you, Iman, andsays Nuran, and casts word of
radiance Make a con save.
Yes.

Speaker 3 (02:05:52):
That's my girl.

Speaker 5 (02:05:54):
Not one.

Speaker 4 (02:05:55):
Sick, I'm going to give her double damage on this.

Speaker 1 (02:06:00):
This is absolutely incredible.

Speaker 4 (02:06:02):
Three You're going to scream yeah, five, 12 points of
radiant damage.
As you see the ruins, like theletters for the word Nuran, form
out of air and then sear yourface.
Make a concentration check.

(02:06:23):
That's a 13.
That's enough.
You maintain concentration onyour crown of thorns.
You'll never get it.
And then, seeing this, still alittle scared she's still a kid
backs up behind Merca aftersaying Nuran, and seeing you're
still awake, she's like I reallythought that would work.

Speaker 6 (02:06:46):
The dare and book the name of my patron against me.
It's your turn and this myplace of power.
It's her turn.
You know what, natasha?
I'll deal with you later, uncle, she hides behind you, merca.

Speaker 7 (02:07:03):
When you say that I look to Ash.

Speaker 6 (02:07:07):
You know how wonderful that it is to have you
as an auntie.
I think you're living out yourusefulness, oh, but I think that
it's time that you go the paththat most aunties go to the
underworld and I am going toraise a rapier.

Speaker 5 (02:07:32):
Whatever you think is best.
It's going to crackle withdivine light and energy as I
attack with divine smite thistriggers your shatter roll to
hit roll damage.
Yes, I'm also going to grow, aspart of my College of Whispers,

(02:07:54):
psychic blades on it.
Okay as well.

Speaker 4 (02:07:58):
Psychic blades.
Do you make a con?
Save for Shatter.

Speaker 7 (02:08:01):
Yeah, that's going to be 14.

Speaker 4 (02:08:02):
14.
Do I have to roll a con save?
You roll a con save for, Ithink, half.

Speaker 7 (02:08:08):
If you save, it's half damage.
Yeah, I make it Okay, so it'sgoing to be half of 11.

Speaker 8 (02:08:13):
So five.
Doesn't she also get hit withmy spirit guides because it's a
15 foot room?

Speaker 7 (02:08:18):
Oh wait, actually sorry.
Are you in organic?
No, I take it back.

Speaker 4 (02:08:26):
Not in organic.
Led Duanty is inside yourcircle because she attacks
Sitara, but I do believe shecould attack Led Duanty without
entering the circle.

Speaker 5 (02:08:40):
That is a 16 ahead.
My AC is 14.

Speaker 1 (02:08:44):
All right.

Speaker 6 (02:08:45):
So that is two D8.

Speaker 5 (02:08:50):
Psychic blades.

Speaker 4 (02:08:52):
Plus another D8 plus three D6.

Speaker 5 (02:08:54):
What, yeah, okay.

Speaker 3 (02:08:58):
Tank tank, tank tank.

Speaker 5 (02:09:02):
Iman slashes out with her blade and as it hits you,
the gold of the blade turnsblack and 10 rolls of energy
just go into your brain throughyour nose as she slashes, and
that is 24 damage.

Speaker 1 (02:09:19):
I'm at 10.
Okay, okay, she's fine.
Can I story wise pipe in alittle bit?
Yes, of course Nayan turned herharassed back.
This auntie has had her shareof just life, whipping her in
the face.
She was not allowed to go toschool.
She tells people she could notbear children, but she just

(02:09:41):
never had them.
She never got married, shenever had children.
Her life has been a lot offailures for her and this is
just another one.
As you whip her into 10 hitpoints left of strength.

Speaker 4 (02:09:58):
As this happens, because you used your action to
attack the crown shatters andyou once again have your own
mind.

Speaker 6 (02:10:06):
But I would like to use my bonus action to make
another strike.

Speaker 1 (02:10:11):
This is incredible, to be honest, yeah.
Your love story wise I'm lovingthis?

Speaker 4 (02:10:17):
Yeah, I think it says like.
It just says when you hit acreature with a weapon, attack
you can expend one use of Bartekinspiration.

Speaker 5 (02:10:25):
That's once per turn.
Yeah, I could smite on this ifI wanted to.

Speaker 4 (02:10:29):
Yeah normally it takes a bonus action to use
Bartek inspiration, but I thinklike this is just expending the
use.
It doesn't say you have to.
So I think you do still haveyour bonus action.

Speaker 5 (02:10:39):
Yes, yeah, but I can't put psychic blades on it.
I can do a divine smite, thoughI just don't get my proficiency
with it.
That is a 16 hit.
Fuck, okay, yeah, you hit.

Speaker 1 (02:10:57):
Oh my.

Speaker 7 (02:10:58):
God, what's the damage on this?

Speaker 5 (02:11:00):
That's 1d8, plus a first level smite, which is 2d8
extra damage, so 3d8.

Speaker 3 (02:11:09):
Oh.

Speaker 6 (02:11:12):
What.

Speaker 5 (02:11:12):
Okay, plus no 3d8.
You're a guest, I'm a guest, Ican hit the brain.

Speaker 6 (02:11:17):
I love it.
I invited you, I feel alive.
I have one hit, but Come on,come on, okay, okay, okay, you
can do it, I'm gonna do it, I'mgonna do it.

Speaker 8 (02:11:27):
I'm gonna do it.

Speaker 7 (02:11:27):
I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do it.

Speaker 1 (02:11:30):
Okay, you can never kill Aunt D, aunt D back.

Speaker 6 (02:11:35):
This is really hard to stubborn.
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (02:11:40):
This is one of those situations where you realize
that charisma based multiclasses are really strong.

Speaker 3 (02:11:50):
All right, who's first?

Speaker 8 (02:11:51):
Ash, can I turn undead?
Is she undead?

Speaker 4 (02:11:56):
She is technically undead.
Undead, let it, let it.
Yeah, you can.
What Do you think that would behelpful?

Speaker 3 (02:12:03):
I mean, give it a little bit.

Speaker 4 (02:12:05):
Maybe, Otherwise just freaking, kill her with things
Hit up with things.

Speaker 5 (02:12:09):
Yeah, I dare you to try.

Speaker 8 (02:12:13):
I'm gonna channel some debitony right now.

Speaker 4 (02:12:15):
Yes, I am going to 10 feet up in the air off a rope.

Speaker 3 (02:12:18):
Why not?
He's got another head, which isfunny.
That's a god Any second.

Speaker 4 (02:12:24):
Do you know?
This is funny to me of him, like hanging up there, like.

Speaker 2 (02:12:26):
Yeah let me explain.
He's all I got.
Let me explain my tail, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 8 (02:12:33):
So my tail wraps around the rope and I get into
palativa.
Yeah, I'm my mudra, that I wantto Very good.
As my action, I present my holysymbol, which I guess would be
some kind of I guess it's thisthere we go.

(02:12:54):
Maybe obvious, but whatever.
And then I speak my prayercensuring the undead.
So all the undead need to, whohear or see me from 30 feet,
they have to make a save.
They have to wisdom savingthrow, wisdom saving throw Let
me just check.

Speaker 5 (02:13:12):
Do I just?
Do I get advantage from this ingeneral or just when I'm
casting?

Speaker 4 (02:13:16):
I believe with Warcaster it's just when you're
casting.
Concentration yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:13:21):
You need to beat a 16 .

Speaker 4 (02:13:23):
I do not, you are filled with dread and you are
going to spend your turn tryingto move as far away from ash as
you can.

Speaker 8 (02:13:36):
Cool, Excellent.
So as my bonus action, can Iuse healing word to help?
Oh sorry, help out auntie here, there's two aunties.

Speaker 1 (02:13:47):
Yeah, there are.

Speaker 5 (02:13:49):
We could be sisters.

Speaker 1 (02:13:52):
And they'll push it away.

Speaker 6 (02:13:57):
Sorry, sorry, sorry.

Speaker 8 (02:14:01):
And I bestow 12 healing on you.
Yes, but that is to make up forthe damage I did earlier.
Sorry, auntie, what did you do?
No, they never mind.
Everything's cool.

Speaker 1 (02:14:13):
All right, did you make a mess?
I don't have time.

Speaker 4 (02:14:17):
Sitara roll your heat metal damage 16.
Oh so because you already haveconcentration on that spell, you
can cast a spell on this attack.
It just can't be aconcentration spell.

Speaker 5 (02:14:28):
If you want to be a yeah, yeah, well, that's fine
and it has to be an action.

Speaker 3 (02:14:32):
No one is with my auntie and I cast scorching ray
at Ferdinand.
Awesome Rolls a hit, don't doscusing words.

Speaker 8 (02:14:42):
Please don't go to.

Speaker 3 (02:14:50):
Three days of so do I roll three times for each ray
after fire?

Speaker 4 (02:14:53):
Yeah, you can roll them all at once that's a 16
plus something.
What level are you casting atThird level?
Third level I think this isyour last third level slot.
Correct, perfect, okay 16 hits16 is a hit.

Speaker 3 (02:15:08):
Oh, it's plus seven, Right okay?

Speaker 4 (02:15:11):
So we can roll hits together, and then we can roll
damage together too.

Speaker 3 (02:15:14):
Okay, well, I just rolled that first one, so we
roll two more, two more which donot hit.
But that first one is going tobe 3d6 fire damage.
Two, seven, five, 12 points offire damage.
That's bonus, that's action.
He is going to pack up anotherhairball.

(02:15:36):
It's just one, right, yes, 14plus seven to hit 21.
And he does five fire damage toyou.

Speaker 5 (02:15:50):
I just want y'all to know that Iman looks singed
burned.
There's Icore dripping fromvarious slash wounds and burns
in her body and she's startingto get even more shrunken in and
skeletal Merca.

Speaker 7 (02:16:07):
I hold out like my, the wrist of my jacket starts to
like light up as I'm preparinga scorching ray, but I'm not
going to fire it unless you movetowards us or attack one of us,
and with my other hand I'mgoing to hold up the book.
I know what you did and I knowwho you are.
I don't care how much he speaksto you, you are still you.

(02:16:30):
Everyone has a choice and Idon't care what position people
are put in.
The whole idea of life, thewhole idea of animation, is for
things to make decisions ontheir own.
That's what defines you.
That's the entire point ofcreation.
We're not here to judge it.
We're not here to control it.
You can't do that, and anyonewho has tried has been buried in

(02:16:53):
a shallow tomb.
I'm sorry for what happened toyou.
I've got some of his work.
I promise you we can come backand I think I might be able to
restore you to some physicalform or at least give you a
housing for it.
We exist in a world filled withmagic and resources and we can

(02:17:14):
use it.
If you let us go, I promise youon my life as an inventor, as a
scientist, as an artificer, Iwill come back and I will give
you a body for you to be able toleave this place at.

Speaker 4 (02:17:36):
I'm going to leave this to you.

Speaker 5 (02:17:40):
You can rule for it if you wish, iman hears what you
have to say and there's a crackthat appears inside her eye
sockets that turn fully black.
And then another and another.
As the eye core starts to drainfrom her eyes and drifts down

(02:18:03):
her face, they start to turn toirises again and start turning
into tears.

Speaker 6 (02:18:12):
I don't, I don't, you should all go, okay.

Speaker 4 (02:18:26):
Get out.
Natasha starts to push peopleup and says come on, guys, we
have to hurry.

Speaker 3 (02:18:35):
We have to go quickly .
Go, go, go, go.
Is she okay?
We have to hurry.
Go, go, go go.

Speaker 1 (02:18:40):
Auntie, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go go.

Speaker 4 (02:18:42):
You all rush up the rope as you get to the top, you
discover the whole time.
You discover it's deeper thanwhat it looks here.
Yeah.
You are back in the more Bonnieforest, the flooded depths

(02:19:03):
around you, you hear strangecalls coming from the bottom of
the pit trap and then, as youturn and look, your heart begins
to sink.
The woods seem to come alivearound you, the very ground,

(02:19:23):
threatening to swallow you whole, to bring you back into the
domain of dread.
And then it stops.
You ponder this for half amoment before you look behind
you and you see a moss coveredthrone Made of stone, made of

(02:19:46):
granite.
It looks older than the bonesof the earth itself and the
statue nestled in it is of yourfriend Namir, a new Lord of Rot,
trading their life to grant yousafe passage Through the forest

(02:20:14):
.
We'll see you next week on thisrequest.

Speaker 7 (02:20:25):

Speaker 4 (02:20:28):
This thing is sick.
Your vision is beginning todouble, so probably notice some
sweat.
Which one?

Speaker 8 (02:20:33):
is she?

Speaker 3 (02:20:34):
I'll just grab him and put his hand on her Great
Perfect.

Speaker 4 (02:20:38):
I must admit, when I first saw you I thought she has
a giant stick Sick of my ass.
Yes, that's quite the commonphrase my tears go caught in my
lashes.
