I was so excited to welcome back Ginni Ryan, who worked in the senior living industry has for over 25 years. She is currently with Revel Communities. We had such a great conversation in my previous episode, about making that move to an independent living community and how difficult the decision can be, but also all the benefits of making the move. It’s a really great episode so be sure to check it out if you haven’t already. This was one of those interviews that ended up being an interview inside an interview and that was because Ginni started sharing her own personal experiences with her parents, her in-laws and those family dynamics. I knew immediately that I had to have a separate family talk episode with Ginni. We’re talking hospice, family dynamics, denial, Dementia, guardianship and self-care. Don't miss this episode!
03:13 - Hospice
05:59 - Family Dynamics
17:00 - Dementia Moving - Packing & Navigating the Airport
19:13 - Dementia & Denial
20:08 - Guardianship

Are You A Charlotte?
In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
