En esta mañana nuestro Padre amado nos habla acerca del amor. Y no sólo el hecho de reconocer y entender la muestra de amor más grande que se nos ha sido dada; nuestro Señor Jesucristo, dando su vida por nosotros; sino también entender e interiorizar, que recibimos el amor de Dios a través de los demás e igualmente, que Dios nos puede usar como canales de amor y bendición para otros.
La Palabra de Dios nos dice: "Nadie tiene mayor amor que éste, que uno ponga su vida por sus amigos. Vosotros sois mis amigos, si hacéis lo que yo os mando" Juan 15:13-14
Una palabra hermosa y reveladora. El mayor amor es renunciar al YO, y dar más por el otro. Es pensar en el otro, incluso antes que en nosotros mismos. Que definición de amor tan precisa y a veces, tan difícil. E igualmente nos da una promesa y una condición importante. Dios nos llama SU AMIGO, que gran privilegio; pero hay un condicionante, y es hacer Su voluntad, es entregarnos con obediencia.
Demos gracias a Dios por este mensaje tan maravilloso que nos ha regalado en esta mañana. Y ahora, ¡a ponerlo en práctica!
