Romanos 12:2 nos dice: "No os conforméis a este siglo, sino transformaos por medio de la renovación de vuestro entendimiento, para que comprobéis cuál sea la buena voluntad de Dios, agradable y perfecta."
Otra versión dice así: "No imiten las conductas ni las costumbres de este mundo, más bien dejen que Dios los transforme en personas nuevas al cambiarles la manera de pensar. Entonces aprenderán a conocer la voluntad de Dios para ustedes, la cual es buena, agradable y perfecta."
Este pasaje de nuestro manual de Instrucciones es muy revelador y creo que está bastante claro. Si verdaderamente deseamos conocer la voluntad de Dios para con nosotros, si deseamos ser más sensibles a su voz y tener una relación más íntima con Él, debemos permitirle que nos renueve, que nos transforme, que cambie nuestra forma de pensar... Debemos ceder a sus designios.
Cuando tomé la decisión de seguir a Cristo, una de las cosas que rondaba mi mente era: "A quien deseo agradar? a quién verdaderamente deseo agradar? si es a Dios, pues debo escuchar su voz, su Palabra, y ésta sólo la encuentro en la Biblia"... Y fue allí cuando decidí a que debía ser Dios quien dirigiera mis pasos y renovara mi mente conforme su Voluntad.
Hoy te invito a que te preguntes que es lo que tú deseas, y que te des la oportunidad a que Dios te transforme y te renueve. No hay nada mejor que vivir bajo los preceptos, designios y principios de nuestro Padre amado.
