Miss V war meine erste deutsche Lehrerin in Amerika. Als Kind deutscher Eltern wuchs sie in Venezuela auf und schaffte es vom Kleintheater dort bis nach LA. Als alleinerziehende Mutter unterrichtet sie an der Santa Monica High und managed ihr Leben mit zwei Kids als, wie sie sagt, gut organisiertes Chaos. Also schnappt Eure Kopfhörer und hört von unserer ersten Klasse zusammen als Deutsche in Kalifornien und wie sie etwas über den "German Dream" erkannte, was ich vorher noch nie so entdeckt habe: Für viele ist das "normale Leben", was wir in Deutschland haben Ihr American Dream – ein Leben ohne Angst.
