On this debut podcast interview, I’ll speak with Rapper and Producer Deshawn White who once tour with Birdman and Lil Wayne with Cash Money Records. Deshawn White by far is one of Devine Jamz’s top performing recording artist we’ve worked with. I had the pleasure to first work with this young brother back in 2019 with his hit single “Power Trippin” on the EP “Power Trip” which charted multiple weeks. He performed live at Creation Festival 2019 and was lined up with major artists to include Elevation Worship, Kari Job, Tenth Avenue North, Andy Mineo, Skillet, Crowder, Hillsong and many more iconic artists! It was the first time ever they filmed a full-length Hip-hop music video at the festival with Deshawn White as the backdrop for the live music video filming. The chemistry was such an amazing experience, Deshawn trusted Devine Jamz to promote his EP “The Trailer: Based On A True Story.” This is not a typical project. This is a chronicle of Deshawn’s life story. On it, the song “Burn” elevated to #1 on BDS Christian Hip Hop Chart. And just like DJ Khaled, he came back with another one! The continuation of the EP, a full album titled “Deshawn White: Based On A True Story.” And on it, you’ll hear hit after hit.
