Hello everyone, and welcome to today’s episode!

I’m here not just as a game developer, but as someone who grew up dreaming about turning wild, funny, and heroic ideas into interactive worlds. And today I want to share with you the story of our project: SWAT Cats Shooter.

The idea behind SWAT Cats came from a simple “what if?” moment. What if every soldier, every hero, every battle-hardened fighter was actually a cat? What if the battlefield wasn’t just about explosions and tactical maneuvers, but also about whiskers, tails, and the untamed charm of feline fighters? That question became the seed that grew into our multiplayer third-person shooter, SWAT Cats.

From the very first design sketches, we knew this wasn’t going to be just another shooter. It was going to be a world where players could laugh, fight, and feel like heroes — all while playing as cats with unique personalities.

Currently, the game features four cat-warriors, each with their own name, style, and story.

Private Nine-Lives – the fresh recruit, the every-cat soldier you start with. He might not have the sharpest claws yet, but his spirit is unbreakable.

Corporal Strongpaw – the powerhouse of the squad, always charging forward, carrying the biggest guns with the confidence only a cat can muster.

Sergeant Quietpurr – stealthy, sharp-eyed, and tactical. He’s the one who prefers to strike from the shadows, letting his silence do the talking.

Captain Scratch – the leader figure, battle-scarred, loud, and always ready to shout orders and lead a team to victory.

We wanted each cat to feel like more than just a skin. They are characters that reflect playstyles, strategies, and yes, a little bit of humor too. And while there are four for now, we’re already thinking about adding more. Maybe a medic cat, maybe a sniper with a monocle — who knows? The fun is in expanding this universe together with our players.

Every shooter needs its playgrounds — the maps. In SWAT Cats Shooter, we’ve designed arenas that balance action with fun. We want each map to be comfortable enough for fast-paced battles, but also detailed enough to feel alive. Think of abandoned fish factories, neon-lit rooftops where cats leap from building to building, or dusty streets that echo with meows and gunfire.

And here’s the important part: we’re not making this game in isolation. We listen to our community. If players suggest new maps — say, a giant cat tree with sniper perches or a subway full of laser pointers — we want to build that. Our maps are for you, and your ideas fuel our creativity.

The core of SWAT Cats is multiplayer. Because, let’s be honest: playing a shooter is fun, but playing it with friends is unforgettable. We wanted to make sure that you can squad up, fight side by side, or just jump into a match and instantly meet new players.

To make it even better, we added an in-game chat. So yes, you can meow, plan, argue, or joke in real-time while the action unfolds. Communication isn’t just about strategy here; it’s about creating that feeling of being in a team — a team of cats ready to dominate the battlefield.

We know that players today don’t stick to one device. Some prefer PC, others love mobile, and many want to switch seamlessly between the two. That’s why we’re working to make SWAT Cats a truly multi-platform experience. The dream is simple: you play at home on your PC, then grab your phone and keep the fight going on the go. Same account, same cats, same squad — just more freedom.

People sometimes ask us: why cats? The answer is easy. Cats are natural fighters. They’re agile, quick, unpredictable, and full of personality. And they’re also hilarious. A cat with a rocket launcher? A cat crouching behind cover with ears twitching? That’s the kind of imagery that makes players smile before they even fire a shot.

And when you do, remember this: every victory deserves a proud, loud, battle “meow!”

See you on the field.
