SPEAKER_02 (00:37):
Did we just become best friends, Tracy St.
George?

SPEAKER_00 (00:42):
We've been best friends forever.

SPEAKER_02 (00:45):
I know.
It does really seem like that.
And now we are finallypodcasting together.

SPEAKER_00 (00:51):
I know.
I'm so excited to be on thelive, laugh, love Lydia, loving
it, life and all that stuff.

SPEAKER_02 (00:58):
I know.
I was like, live, laugh, Lydia.
And then I had a guy tell me,you know, within like two
minutes of talking to you, Ifelt like we were best friends.
So he's like, your podcastshould be remained.
Did we just become best friends?
And I just love that.
I love when people just tell youwhat you should be doing
differently.
And so I'm just like, yeah, okay, we're doing it.
So did we just become bestfriends?

(01:19):
And okay, so we are gonna talkabout how we met.
That's how I always open theshow.
Okay.
You and I officially met.
Now I had listened to you on theradio for years, but you and I
officially met in person.
I do believe the year was 2011or 2012.
I would have to go back toreally hope for sure.

SPEAKER_00 (01:41):
I was thinking the same thing.
I'm like, I've got to look upthose pictures and see what the
time was and the date.

SPEAKER_02 (01:46):
Well, I if I went on Setlist FM and I looked up Duran
Duran when they played the HardRock Hollywood.
Now it was the old Hard RockLive before they renovated and
that whole outside area wasgone.
It was before the guitar wasbuilt.

SPEAKER_00 (01:59):
Yes.
A long time before the guitar.

SPEAKER_02 (02:02):
It was a long time before the guitar because the
guitar was like what 2024, Ithink, or something.
It could just maybe like fiveyears ago, ish.
Right?
Yeah.
Two, three years ago.
Yeah, I think actually rightbefore COVID or just after
COVID.
I don't know.
I can't remember.
But so the concert was like 2011or 2012, and uh my then
boyfriend, the Schiffer, he hesaid, uh, you know, I'm gonna

(02:24):
meet you at the venue becauseyou know, we had obviously
gotten the tickets.
That was my first time I'd everseen Duran Durant, if you can
even believe that.
After loving them, stop it.

SPEAKER_00 (02:34):
Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_02 (02:35):
I had never seen them in concert.
I was working in Miami at thetime, and I was like, I'm so
excited, right?
And they had an album out.
It was called All You Need IsNow.

SPEAKER_01 (02:44):
Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_02 (02:45):
And it was like, I don't want to say it was a flop,
but like nobody was listening toit.
It didn't have many hits, itwasn't getting airplay.
Let's just tell the truth.
We're all in there because wewant to hear Rio, Hungry Curry.

SPEAKER_00 (02:58):
Correct, say the prayer.
Yes.
So the story Wait, so you andSteve met that you didn't meet
me, but you guys like droveseparate cars there.
Like you were just startingdating at that time?

SPEAKER_02 (03:10):
Yeah, so we drove separate cars.
We had been only dating aboutit.

SPEAKER_00 (03:12):
Adorable.

SPEAKER_02 (03:13):
And he met me there, and I was coming from work in
Miami, and he I said, Well, because I he one of his pet
thieves is like feeling rushed.
So I said, I know you hate tofeel rushed, so let's meet there
early.
We'll get something to eat.
Back then it was like JohnnyRockets was outside, and um
Gloria Stefan's place bongos wasthere because this is way before
the renovation.

SPEAKER_00 (03:34):
And Madoranos?
Steve Mod, was it Madorano'swith those big meatballs?
Yes.

SPEAKER_02 (03:40):
And I remember he was dilly-dowling, and I was
like, come on, come on.
Like, you you don't like to berushed, and I know you're gonna
get hangry, so we have to gofind you something to eat.
And he goes, Well, hang, hangon, relax, relax.
And we were hanging around yourtent for the radio station
because you were doing a remote.

SPEAKER_00 (03:57):
Yes, we were broadcasting live with WRMF for
the show, giving away tickets.

SPEAKER_02 (04:01):
Yeah, and the funny thing is, I was like, What is he
doing?
He's loitering.
Like, I was running out ofpatients.
Yeah, he's loitering.
And I said, he's acting weird.
I was like, This is what's goingon?
And then he introduced me tolike your sales guy, somebody
from sales, and he goes, Oh, Iwas waiting to meet my
girlfriend, Lydia, blah blahblah.

(04:22):
And he goes, and you're gonna begoing to meet Duran Duran.
And I was like, What?
Like, first of all, I was inshock.
It is unheard of because theydon't even do meet and greets.

SPEAKER_01 (04:34):
Right?
Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_02 (04:35):
Like, for them to do a meet and greet, they don't do
it.
It doesn't even happen.
You can't even buy like a VIPexperience.
It doesn't happen anymore.
So the fact that they did thatat that time, and you had an
interview with them.

SPEAKER_00 (04:46):
I did.
And the thing that makes mereally mad about that interview
before we go back to your story,it was videoed by my friend
Gabe, and he accidentallyrecorded over the tape.
I do not have the video.
It's me, Nick, and um not Simon,uh, Nick and John.
Nick, yes.

SPEAKER_02 (05:04):
You were with John Taylor.
The only one who matters.

SPEAKER_00 (05:07):
Exactly.
The only thing that matters, itwas amazing.
And then um he taped over itbecause back in those old days
we would video the stuff and itwas gone.
I was so upset.
I was so upset.

SPEAKER_02 (05:19):
And I think, you know, Facebook was only a few
years old at that time, so weweren't like posting every
single thing obsessed like weare now.
There was no reels or shorts orclips or you know.

SPEAKER_00 (05:28):
And if only TikTok was around, I would have it
forever.

SPEAKER_02 (05:32):
Oh my god, I was so unprepared, Tracy.
When he said I was meeting them,I didn't know what to do with
myself.
And then there was like thesemassive stalker people that were
like in the fan club and theywere there and they had the meet
and greet.
I don't know how they had it.
But I remember getting in lineand seeing them, and I walk up
and I didn't know what to say.
Like for the first time, I justprepared.

SPEAKER_00 (05:54):
You no, you've never met a stranger.

SPEAKER_02 (05:57):
I mean, I have a bullet point list of things
we're talking about today.
I always have something in myhead.
I didn't know what to do withmyself, and then I was such a
dork.
So, first of all, Nick wasreally short, and then Roger, I
mean, they're all pretty shortexcept for John Taylor, he's a
tall drink of water.

SPEAKER_00 (06:13):
Yes.
Oh, and Simon.

SPEAKER_02 (06:16):
And and Simon looked great, but Simon looked like an
old man in the meet and greet.
He had like a plaid shirt on,like your grandfather would
wear.
Oh my gosh.
Just cash, right?
So he had his hands in hispockets, and I remember I was
such a dork.
I was like, hi, and I took myhand out, and I made him like
take his hand out of his pocketto shake my hand, and he was
probably so grossed out.

(06:37):
And I just, I don't know, I hadnothing clever to say.
So, but then the kicker wasokay, so Roger, who's a cutie
patootie, um, you know, he wasgreat.
But then I get to John Taylor.
And this and this is this is thebest rejection of my life I've
ever had.
So I said to him, I said, Anychance, my favorite song, Save a

(06:59):
Prayer, is on the set list.
And he goes, Nope, not on thelist, not tonight.
And I went, What the heck, man?
Are you sure that he expected itfor me?
And he was like, Nope, nothappening.
And I said, Well, listen, youknow, this is a once in a
lifetime.
You and I are probably nevergonna see each other again.
So I had to try.
He goes, Yep, yep, you had totake a chance, had to take a

(07:20):
shot.
So we took a picture together, because of course then the
photographer was like rushing usto take a picture.
And at that time, it was likethe radio station's person was
posting the picture on thewebsite.
It wasn't like you could useyour phones or anything.
Not that we had good phonesreally back then.
But I just I stood next to JohnTaylor, and then there's of
course my boyfriend, and I'mswooning over John Taylor who

(07:42):
just rejected me and is notgoing to play my favorite song.
I mean, I've been rejected byworse, so we'll say that.
And then we get into theconcert, and I had like the
greatest night of my life, and Iwas like, wow, an hour ago I was
right next to them, and nowthey're so far away.

SPEAKER_00 (08:00):
Right, exactly.

SPEAKER_02 (08:02):
But it was a great show, and I do remember your
interview because I rememberlike it was like in that little
green room area and there waslike food and stuff.
Yes.
And you had actually asked someof us to record questions for
them.

SPEAKER_00 (08:13):
Oh, but that's right, I did.
Yes, and I'm sure that I askedthem that, but we will never get
to hear it back because we'llnever know.

SPEAKER_02 (08:20):
We'll never know.

SPEAKER_00 (08:20):
We'll never, we'll never know.
We'll never know.

SPEAKER_02 (08:23):
And so then I remember watching the set list a
few shows later.
And do you know those sons ofbitches played Save a Prayer?
They added it to the set list.

SPEAKER_00 (08:32):
Well, didn't we see them together at Sunfest?
Yes, yes, and then they playedSave a Prayer.
We were like, Yes, there it is!Because who doesn't want to hear
that?

SPEAKER_02 (08:42):
Everybody wants to hear it.

SPEAKER_00 (08:44):
Everybody does.

SPEAKER_02 (08:46):
Yeah, and Simon pretending to play the guitar.
We all want to see it.
No, I'm just kidding.

SPEAKER_00 (08:51):
I'm kidding.
It's like those just first threenotes.
Do the little Oh my gosh.
World's greatest song.
It does.
It gives you chills.

SPEAKER_02 (08:59):
Yeah, so yeah, we saw them at Sunfest.
I remember that night.
That actually is the night thatMegan Traynor was also playing,
and after the Durand Duran show, actually, my husband will tell
you about the time after Sunfestthat I tried to jump the
makeshift fence between thepeople in the parking lot and
their bus.
Are you kidding me?
Oh, I almost ate it.

(09:19):
I almost got really hurt.

SPEAKER_00 (09:21):
To meet Megan Traynor?

SPEAKER_02 (09:23):
No, to meet Duran Duran.
So after Duran, it was astatement because there was
multiple people playing.
But after Duran Duran got offstage, I flew through the bushes
and I like jumped over thishedge and I almost ate the
ground.
Oh my god.

SPEAKER_00 (09:38):
But it's Duran Durant, you gotta do it.

SPEAKER_02 (09:40):
I try to climb this thing just like to say hi to
John, you know?
And and they got on the tour busand that was it.
They were kissed, right?

SPEAKER_00 (09:47):
Now, what would have happened if you did get to the
top of the fence and waved, andthey said, Come on, come along
with us, Lydia.
Would you have gone?
Would you have been bye Steve, pick me up later?
What would happen?

SPEAKER_02 (10:01):
I meet somebody that's been on the bucket list,
like Joey Fatone from InSync islike always been my crush.

SPEAKER_00 (10:07):
Like, he's so cute.

SPEAKER_02 (10:09):
And I finally got to meet him, and I go, Well, sadly,
he didn't ask me to run awaywith him.
So I guess I'm not his type.

SPEAKER_00 (10:16):
His loss.

SPEAKER_02 (10:17):
Never mind that I was with my significant other.

SPEAKER_00 (10:22):
Who is so fabulously significant.

SPEAKER_02 (10:24):
Yes, and my hope my hopes and dreams are though that
always somebody asks me to runaway with him, but just a
correct.

SPEAKER_00 (10:30):
Go on the road.
Do all that fun stuff.

SPEAKER_02 (10:32):
Yeah, because in an instant I'd be gone.

SPEAKER_00 (10:34):
Do you know what he's gone?
100%.

SPEAKER_02 (10:36):
Yeah.
So then I saw them again whenthey did the 50th anniversary of
the Apollo.
Uh they had a big performance inthe rocket garden at the Kennedy
Space Center.

SPEAKER_00 (10:46):
Oh my gosh! Wait, when was that?

SPEAKER_02 (10:50):
That was like in 2016, and I was like Crown
Center for that when I drove tobeach, stayed over, went to the
Kennedy Space Center, like stoodin line for General Emission to
run the field, and I was rightup front.

SPEAKER_00 (11:02):
Oh my gosh, how cool.

SPEAKER_02 (11:04):
Yeah, I just I don't know if you agree, but you know,
since the pandemic, it's beenreally difficult to get up close
and personal with a lot of theseartists because the meet and
greet dynamic has changed.
Obviously, it's not costeffective, but if you have, you
know, I always say they can'tmake it affordable for everybody
because you can't meet 10,000people.
But you know what?

SPEAKER_00 (11:23):
You know, it it seems like the same people and
my really good friend Peggy, whois in love with New Kids on the
Block, she goes to shows allover the country, literally
flies all over.
She's such a fan.
She's literally made friendswith everybody in the band.
It's so incredibly cool.
But she always buys thoseawesome meet and greet things.

(11:44):
She buys the tickets to go onstage.
So it's like, how do we get todo that?
Like, I've got to figure outwhat her secret is and how she
can get that stuff becauseeverybody wants them.
And it's like, how in the worlddo people get on so fast and get
that stuff?
Because I want to be on stageand I want to, I don't know,
grab a drumstick and startplaying with the drums or

(12:06):
something like that.

SPEAKER_02 (12:08):
Well, to your point about drumsticks, and then we
could talk about how people dothat.
So I had held up, I got reallyclever, and I said, okay, I'm
not gonna, I'm not gonna f thisup this time.
I'm gonna have signs.
Because I was right in front.
So I made these signs, and itwas like five different signs,
and I shuffled through themduring the performances.
But the one sign I always makefor John is he had that book
that came out in the pleasuregroove.

(12:29):
So I always make a sign thatsays, I'm in the pleasure
groove.

SPEAKER_01 (12:32):
Oh, I like it.

SPEAKER_02 (12:34):
He notices me because I'm the only one who
ever has that sign, and it's thesame one printed out on copy
paper from the work print arena.
And so I hold it up, I held itup at the film or him and I lock
eyes, because obviously he'splaying the guitar, so we can't
just stop playing.
So we always lock eyes and hegives me the like he sees me,
you know.
Oh nice.
And so I did it there.

(12:55):
I did it in Cocoa Beach, so likethree different times he's seen
my sign.
So he knows who I am because I'min the pleasure groove.
Um, of course, we you know,we're not like, you know, we're
not besties.
We we haven't, you know.
Oh my god.
Yeah, we've been on the podcast.

SPEAKER_01 (13:08):
Not yet.

SPEAKER_02 (13:10):
But I made these signs, and one of them was um
you know, I I Will Will work forRoger's drumstick.
So at the end, when he came outwith his drumsticks to throw
them, he threw them to me.
And this bitch, sorry forcursing, swooped in like an
eagle and like a hawk and tookmy drumstick.

SPEAKER_00 (13:30):
Out of your hands?

SPEAKER_02 (13:32):
Like, no, he was throwing it to me and it started
flying, and she swooped in andevident that he saw my sign, he
pointed to me, and he threw thedrumsticks to me, which I was
gonna give it to Steve becausehe loves the drums, and then she
took it.
So these fans are vicious, butto your point about Yeah,
they're uncool.
And we're yeah, the premiumexperience is it's money talks,

(13:55):
bullshit walks, right?
So if you have enough money, youcan buy any premium experience.
However, it's the fan club.
These are fan clubs, yes, they're in the fan club, they've
got fan access first, you know, and they always have like the
first three rows of any show, and they have access to all the
premium experiences.
But Durandoran hasn't had anymeet and greets.

(14:16):
So we were so lucky, Tracy.

SPEAKER_00 (14:19):
Right.
Maybe we need to get um somehowin Durandoran management, and
then we can figure out the bestway for us first and then other
fans to have that experience.
And we'll do it first.

SPEAKER_02 (14:32):
They're just they're just not doing it.

SPEAKER_00 (14:35):
I wonder if they're just like kind of like we've
been here, we've done that, their fans are our age, but
we're still crazed fans and westill want to meet them.

SPEAKER_02 (14:44):
But we're still crazy, and I and I can't even
imagine how it is to be on theother side of fan of stardom
because it's like you're oneperson and you've got hundreds
of millions of people around theglobe who admire you.
That's I think why Bieber likedhis went mental, because he he
just can't handle that manypeople wanting to get a piece of
him.

SPEAKER_00 (15:03):
Well, I met Justin Bieber when he was here years
ago in Miami, and this was themeet and greet.
Okay, and I know you can see methe people can't, but this is
the meet and greet.
Hi, Justin.
You you literally walked, youyou keep walking and you take a
picture and you keep walking.
You don't you barely get to evenstop because there's so many,

(15:24):
it's literally one second.
I was like, I really like yourmusic.
It was so fast, it was crazy.
I was like, okay, wow, that wewaited so long for that.
And you keep you it's uh what isthat called?
A cattle train or something?
It's just you just keep walking.
Yeah.

SPEAKER_02 (15:40):
Like a cattle, they caught they call it a cattle
call, but it's like a company.
It's just uh a drive-by, a walkby.

SPEAKER_00 (15:45):
Yes, a a walk by is what it was.
But I was like, yeah, we're bestfriends now.

SPEAKER_02 (15:50):
And I think then the NKO TV, they're doing it right
because they have such a loveand affinity for their fans.

SPEAKER_00 (15:56):
Yes, they do.

SPEAKER_02 (15:57):
Did you see recently?
So Donnie Wahlberg was talkingabout when him and Jenny
McCarthy.

SPEAKER_00 (16:01):
Oh, wait, you you froze up.

SPEAKER_02 (16:03):
Oh, that's okay.
Can you hear me?

SPEAKER_00 (16:05):
Okay, say that one more time.

SPEAKER_02 (16:07):
Yeah, so Donnie Wahlberg, when he first started
dating Jenny McCarthy, he said,There's something I need you to
know before we start dating.
He was like, the fans comefirst.
If we're ever like out and aboutwalking the sidewalk and
somebody comes up to us, like Iam not gonna tell them no.
So you need to understand you'reit for me, but these fans are my

(16:30):
family.
They're so they have supportedme, they have fed my family.
You know, these fans areeverything, they're so important
to me, and I will never turnthem down.
And you need to be secure enoughto handle that.
And she was like, Absolutely,I'm in.
And I really respected thatabout him because he appreciates
his fans so much.

SPEAKER_00 (16:50):
All of them do.
You can just tell while they'reperforming, you can tell that
they love their fans.
And you can also tell, just likeJohn was noticing you with your
sign, you can tell that theyreally notice their core people
in the audience, and that's whatmakes the people love them even
more, even if they're not thosefront people up there.
The people that are in the backare like, one day that's gonna
be me, and they're gonna noticeme up there.

(17:12):
They do, they love their peopleso much.
I love them.

SPEAKER_02 (17:15):
They do.
And and they're they're reallygreat.
And I got to see them at theHard Rock Live a few years back.

SPEAKER_00 (17:20):
Cool.

SPEAKER_02 (17:21):
When we were at the B stage, but we were like right
up front for the B stage.
And I love that about them too, that they go to both sides of
the arena to give everybody achance to see them.
They're just such nice guys.

SPEAKER_00 (17:31):
They are, they seem so just wholesome and cool.
I love them.

SPEAKER_02 (17:35):
I know, I know.
Okay, so Tracy, I want to talkto you a little bit about your
radio career because I mean, tome, you're a legend, you're a
South Florida legend.

SPEAKER_00 (17:43):
Oh, thank you.

SPEAKER_02 (17:44):
But let's just be clear, neither one of us are
old.
We're not even but is like forradio, was it all you ever
wanted to do?
Or how did you get started?

SPEAKER_00 (17:55):
Um, well, when I was in when I was really young, I
used to do little radio showswith my mother's records.
So I mean, always I've alwaysloved music and I would do
pretend radio shows.
And then I went to college forfashion merchandising because I
love fashion.
But when I got there, um, oh, Iwent to Stout in Wisconsin.

SPEAKER_02 (18:17):
Okay.
Yeah.

SPEAKER_00 (18:20):
So um I studied fashion merchandising for about
10 minutes.
And then I was like, this is notas fun as I thought it was going
to be.
Gross.
So then I called my favorite DJ.
Um, her name escapes me rightnow because it was a thousand
years ago.
But I called my favorite DJ onmy favorite radio station in
Milwaukee, and I said, How didyou become a DJ?

(18:42):
I believe it was Holly Anderson.
And I and she's like, Oh, I wenthere, here, and here, which was
just one place.
I went here, which was a schoolin Minneapolis.
So I said, Okay.
So I I don't even there was nocomputers.
I don't know how I found outabout this place then because I
couldn't Google it.
But I found out about the placeand I got, what's that?

SPEAKER_02 (19:01):
The yellow pages, maybe?

SPEAKER_00 (19:03):
It could have been the yellow pages or 411.
I just called an operator.
Tell me more, operator.

SPEAKER_02 (19:09):
You're new to the earth, you don't know what we're
talking about.

SPEAKER_00 (19:13):
Exactly.
So um I found out where it was.
I did my audition, I got intothe school, and then my radio
career started.
And I it was television andradio broadcasting.
And then my first radio job wasin Eau Claire, Wisconsin, which
is super far up north.
They're probably buried in snowright now.

(19:34):
And I did overnights.
So I did midnight to six, and itwas live back then.
Like the because now usuallyit's um automated, so there's
really no DJs from midnight tosix, they'll just play.
Right.
But I was really on the radiofrom midnight till six in the
morning.
And I did that for one year andI said, and I'm out.
Because I was like, I can't dothis forever.

(19:54):
It was just, it was so hard.
It was just, it was, I loved it,but I was like, I cannot do
midnight till six and have thisbe my life.

SPEAKER_02 (20:03):
Yeah.
So do you remember how much youmade per hour on your first
radio job?

SPEAKER_00 (20:06):
I'm just I remember I made$12,000 a year.

unknown (20:10):
Wow.

SPEAKER_00 (20:11):
So I was like, and I was like, whoa, because I think
I was 20 at that time.
And back at then, you couldliterally live on$12,000 a year.
So I was like, a thousand bucksa month.
I am loaded.
This is amazing.
So I really thought I was kindof a big deal back then.
That was 1990, when you couldlive on a thousand dollars a

(20:32):
month.
And then I went back toMilwaukee and I took some.
Time off because I was like, Ijust don't know if this is
right.
My mother's like, you need to dothis because you went to school
for this.
So I got another job in Wausaw,Wisconsin, also overnights.
But I was like, okay, I can dothis.
And then I was working dual inWausau and Madison, Wisconsin.

(20:52):
So I was doing six shows inWausau, two shows in Madison.
So I was doing eight shows aweek, driving back and forth.
Then I got a job in Milwaukee.
Then I was there for a long timeat WKTI, which was awesome.
I loved that radio station somuch.
Then from there, I went toIndiana.
I was in Lafayette, Indiana, which is where Purdue is.

(21:14):
And I did the morning show,Mummy in the Morning with me.

SPEAKER_02 (21:18):
And then my dream was morning show.

SPEAKER_00 (21:21):
It was so much fun.
Oh my gosh.
And Rick Mummy was my co-host.
He was like the lead of theshow.
And I'm telling you, my stomachwould hurt every day from
laughing so hard.
This guy was so freaking funny.
Loved him.
And then I also did the middayshow.
And when I was in Milwaukee, Iwas dating this guy who was a
professional soccer player whowent to Atlanta.

(21:42):
So I was like, you know what?
I'm going to see if I can workin Atlanta.
So I did.
So I got a job in Atlanta and Imoved there and I worked at Star
94 and I did weekends.

SPEAKER_02 (21:53):
Wasn't Ryan Seacrest there?

SPEAKER_00 (21:55):
Yes, Ryan Seacrest was there, but he left right
before I got there.
So I did not work with RyanSeacrest, but he was there.
So I worked there and I didweekends.
And then I also would fill inwhen people were on vacation and
I was in the promotionsdepartment.
And I did that for about five orsix years.
And then I moved over to Q100,which is now Q997, but Q100, and

(22:18):
I did the midday show at Q100.
I was there for about six years.
So I was in Atlanta a total of11.
And I did a show called CardioRadio, which was so much fun.
I did that every single dayduring my lunch hour.
It was all dance music.
So it was like just a danceparty for the midday.
It was so much fun.
And I would do appearances atnightclubs and all this stuff

(22:39):
with celebs all over the place.
And then after that, then I camedown to Florida and I started
working at WRMF.
And that was in 19, no, that wasin 2007.
So I've been in South Floridasince 2007.
So 19 years I've been here.
And I was on WRMF.

SPEAKER_02 (22:57):
And I didn't know before I discovered you.
It was 979 WRMF.

SPEAKER_00 (23:01):
979 WRMF.
And I did afternoons there.
And then it was just, we werejust a standalone.
We were just WRMF.
And then one day our boss said, hey, let's go buy those other
radio stations over there.
So we accumulated Sunny 1079,X1023, New Country 103.1, 850

(23:22):
WFTL, and Fox Sports 640.
Yes, all those.

SPEAKER_02 (23:28):
So that was Wild 95.5 part of that or no?

SPEAKER_00 (23:31):
No, Wild 95.5, they are iHeart.
And we are right now, we areHubbard Radio.
Before that, we were alphamedia.
Before that, we were Palm BeachBroadcasting.
So we've gone through numerous,uh, which is typical in radio.
We went through numerousdifferent ownership stuff.
So when we went over there, thenI was doing afternoons, then I

(23:53):
got moved to the morning show onSunny 107.9.
So I was doing afternoons andthe morning show with Bill
Adams, another guy who is sofunny.
My stomach again would hurtevery single morning because he
is just hilariously talented.
And then I went to, I didmiddays on WRMF, then I did

(24:13):
middays on Sunny 1079, then Iwas doing middays and afternoons
on Sunny 1079.
So I was doing eight hours aday.
Now I am doing, they did someshuffling of stuff.
So now I'm doing afternoons onSunny 1079 from two until six.
And I get to work from home.
So it's pretty cool.

(24:34):
Yeah, so now I'm working fromhome.

SPEAKER_02 (24:36):
So you are on 107.9?

SPEAKER_00 (24:38):
Yes, Sunny 107.9.

SPEAKER_02 (24:40):
Sunny.
Okay.
And what's the format on thatstation?
Because I'm so detached.

SPEAKER_00 (24:45):
Well, we are currently South Florida's
official Christmas musicstation.
So we are playing all Christmasmusic right now.

SPEAKER_02 (24:52):
And then I like that because let me tell you.
It's so fun.
No, no offense to Jimmy Fallon, but his serious radio station,
the Fallon one, is awful.
It's the worst mix.
Like, bring back Holly.
I don't know what happened, andI love Jimmy Fallon musically,
but no, no.

SPEAKER_00 (25:07):
Yeah, listen to Sunny 1079.
It is the best.
The hits, the classics.
Chef's kiss to Christmas.

SPEAKER_02 (25:12):
Is W I R K in the mix in here somewhere?

SPEAKER_00 (25:15):
Yes, New Country 1031, W-I-R-K.

SPEAKER_02 (25:18):
So 1031 is W-I-R-K because I'm like going through
everything and I'm like tryingto keep up because it like ships
and it changes and I'm like, wait a minute.
This was the country station.
Yes.
Like, who does the rib roundup?

SPEAKER_00 (25:29):
Is that W I Res that is um New Country 1031 W-I-RK.
Yes.

unknown (25:33):
And that's not print.

SPEAKER_00 (25:35):
Correct.
Okay.
Mm-hmm.
Yes.

SPEAKER_02 (25:37):
I just want to know why am I not rounding up the
ribs with you?
Like, I don't know.
Why don't we see each othermore?
We have to.

SPEAKER_00 (25:44):
We we must.
Well, I see the funny thingabout Facebook is, you know, you
see everybody online all thetime.
I feel like I'm living your lifealready.
And then you what's cool aboutit is you can pick up right
where you left off, even if youhaven't spoken for a while,
because you still see everythingthat's going on with everybody.
But then the downside of that isyou think, well, I just saw

(26:06):
them.
But you actually didn't reallysee them in real life.
Right.
You know?

SPEAKER_02 (26:09):
I feel like just because we're Facebook friends
is not it, it is it's not a realfriendship.
Like I need human interaction.

SPEAKER_00 (26:16):
Right?
Exactly.

SPEAKER_02 (26:18):
Although you are my friend.
I know, definitely.

SPEAKER_00 (26:21):
We totally are.

SPEAKER_02 (26:22):
Because friends don't let friends bravo alone.

SPEAKER_00 (26:26):
No, we have bravoed together so many times, and we
need to bravo together more.
The last time I was supposed tobravo with you, I couldn't make
it when you hung out with TomScandaval.

SPEAKER_02 (26:38):
Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_00 (26:38):
Was he super nice?
But tell me.

SPEAKER_02 (26:41):
Can I tell you?
Okay, first we have to tell thelisteners that we did meet oh
one miss Erica Jane severalyears ago.

SPEAKER_00 (26:48):
I've got a whole entire list of everybody that we
met or that I've met too.
And I forgot we met Erica Jane.

SPEAKER_02 (26:53):
We did.
We met Erica Jane together atRevolution when she came to Fort
Lauderdale, and she did thewhole the pretty mess tour.
And can I tell you, I lovedevery minute of that show I did
too.

SPEAKER_00 (27:03):
She was so fun.
The only thing I didn't like, not long enough.
Because it was like 45 minutes, and it was like, more, more.
She was fantastic.

SPEAKER_02 (27:14):
Yeah, I loved everything about her glam and
her outfits.
And the funny thing is, so whenwe met her, because of course we
did the meet and greet.
Like I don't want to go and getthe VIP and the meet and greet.
What's the point?
My husband knows that.
Don't even buy me tickets unlessit's correct.
And that's again, you know, youpay for the premium experience.
But um I think I brought thebook and she signed my book for

(27:35):
me.

SPEAKER_00 (27:35):
I did we buy the books there?
Because I had a book too.

SPEAKER_02 (27:38):
I feel like we either did you buy a book and I
paid you back for it.

SPEAKER_00 (27:42):
Did you maybe buy me the book?

SPEAKER_02 (27:43):
I think my husband probably bought both of us
books.
Okay, that could be.
Yes.
But it's so funny because I lookback at those pictures and I was
so much heavier then.

SPEAKER_00 (27:51):
But you still look fabulous.

SPEAKER_02 (27:53):
I had lost weight and I was feeling so good, but
then I'm like, oh my god, thatwas like a hundred pounds ago.
But we had the best time, andher outfits were so spectacular.

SPEAKER_00 (28:02):
They were gorgeous.
Weren't we wondering if Tom wasthere?
I wonder if he was.
I can I forget if we saw hislike bald head in the back or
something.
Because it was at that where dowe see him again?
I feel like there was like akitchen in the back or something
that we were like peeking ourheads around trying to see.

SPEAKER_02 (28:20):
Well, that venue, that venue's a little sketch,
but it is sketch, man.

SPEAKER_00 (28:25):
Totally.

SPEAKER_02 (28:25):
I believe that you actually have had more luck with
seeing spouses than I havebecause you were at something, I
think, at Miser Park and PK wasthere.

SPEAKER_00 (28:34):
Yeah, oh my gosh, PK.
I gotta write that down.
PK.
I met PK.
Um I met PK twice.
PK, PK.
Um, I met PK both times.
Wait till you hear my LisaBarlow.
Oh, can I just say that?
So you okay, we gotta wait forthat.
So I met PK two times.

(28:57):
Right, exactly, for both cultureclub shows because he was just
wandering around.
I was like, PK, PK.
So I've met PK, Tyle fromBeverly Hills, Teresa numerous
times from Jersey.
I think twice with you.
Yeah.
Um, I met Sonia, uh Taylor fromuh Beverly Hills, enough.
Um Tam Tam Yes, sad lips.

(29:19):
The lips what's that?

SPEAKER_02 (29:21):
The lips and forever knowing what the cat meme is
now.

SPEAKER_00 (29:24):
I love that cat meme.
Um, I met Tamara and Eddie.
Um, LVP, you and I have met LVPtogether, right?
Wasn't that at her wine thing?

SPEAKER_02 (29:33):
Yes, because I insisted that you pull the media
card.
Yes, you did.
Tracy St.
George.
Yes.
I'm like, you never ask foranything, you never use your
clout, you never presscredentials.
You're so humble.
You are not me, honey.
Flashing that badge everywhere.
And I'm always so humble.
Tracy, the line is out theblock, it's down the plaza.

(29:57):
You have to flash your immediatecredentials.
You have to get us in the lineto meet Lisa, and you did it.

SPEAKER_00 (30:03):
And we did, and we whipped right up there.
Do you remember?
Lisa was like, There's so manypeople here.
And we're like, Yep, give us ourwine and a photo.

SPEAKER_02 (30:12):
She had Pandora with her and her husband.
That's right.

SPEAKER_00 (30:15):
She had Pandora.
I forgot.
I also met the Manzo brothersone time.
Um, yeah, did she have Jiggythere?

SPEAKER_02 (30:23):
She had Jiggy or um the other one.
They look alike.

SPEAKER_00 (30:26):
Because I met Jiggy at another um thing that LVP did
in Fort Lauderdale, and Jiggyand Ken were there.
So Ken was there too.
But I met the Manzo brothers onetime when they were doing that
black water.
Yes, they were rude.
Were they rude?
They were not friendly.

SPEAKER_02 (30:44):
I met them at I think the Whole Foods or
something in Plant.
We too.
Yes.

SPEAKER_00 (30:48):
We must have gone to the same water tour.

SPEAKER_02 (30:51):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_00 (30:51):
But I do like that black water.
It's actually good.
That, yeah, it's good.

SPEAKER_02 (30:54):
My daughter loves it.
She loves that black water.

SPEAKER_00 (30:57):
It's delicious.

SPEAKER_02 (30:58):
Who else is on the list even?

SPEAKER_00 (31:00):
Um, uh, that was my whole list.
Tamara, uh, Tamara and Eddie,Taylor, Sonia.
Sonia I met at um a Palm Beachevent.

SPEAKER_02 (31:10):
So you have met more people though, because you went
out to Sur and you met Jax andTom.

SPEAKER_00 (31:16):
I forgot.
Yes, Jax and um Tom were mybartenders, and Sheena was my
waitress.
And Sheena is was so sweet.
And you know what?
The weird thing is, is youliterally went in there and it
was like you are living the showbecause they're all working
there for real.
It was crazy.
And the food was good.
I had the goat cheese balls.

SPEAKER_02 (31:38):
Oh, yeah, me too.
And I'm not a goat cheeseperson, but they were.

SPEAKER_00 (31:41):
I don't like goat cheese.

SPEAKER_02 (31:42):
I have what like I call the trifecta experience.
I took the kids to LA andactually we were flown to LA
because I was on a TV show thatI I made it on the cutting room
floor of and it never met me init.
But they filmed my daughter up.
Okay, it was a show called ThisTime Last Year.
Actually, this time next year,it was the show.

(32:03):
And so they filmed you and whatyour goal was, and then a year
later they brought you back tosee if you met the goal.

SPEAKER_00 (32:08):
Oh, that's so cool.

SPEAKER_02 (32:09):
There's all these inspirational people, like this
one kidney transplant survivorwanted to like hike the
Appalachian Trail and whatever, blah blah blah, and like save
the world.
And they they loved themother-daughter duo because we
were like doing weight loss.
Oh, yes.
We were we were an epic failure.
This was way before any of myweight loss success.
And so they brought us back outfor the the retape to see if

(32:31):
we'd met the goal.
And I said, Well, I have nobodyto watch my son, so they're like
oh, we'll fly him out to.

SPEAKER_01 (32:36):
Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_02 (32:44):
So we went to lunch at Villa Blanca, which was my
favorite, and I saw YolandaHadid walk by.

SPEAKER_00 (32:51):
Oh my gosh.
Long hair or short hair?

SPEAKER_02 (32:54):
She I think she had long hair at the time.
And and then we also saw the momfrom Seventh Heaven.
She was walking around RodeoDrive shopping.
I don't think I know who thatis.

SPEAKER_00 (33:04):
I never watched that show.

SPEAKER_02 (33:05):
The actress that was the mom in 7th Heaven.
And then um, so we went to lunchat Villa Blanca, we went to
dinner at Sur, and then we wentto have just like uh whatever, a
drink at Pump.
Oh my god.
He was like seven years old.
But anyway, so yeah, he wasn'tdrinking.
But it was so fabulous, and justeverything like you see on TV,

(33:30):
and then of course, nobody fromthe cast was working when I was.

SPEAKER_00 (33:33):
Oh boo.

SPEAKER_02 (33:34):
Yeah, they weren't filming or anything.
I saw actually one person that Isaw in there.
I had seen like a little clip ofher on the show, like on the
side.
But Pump, I love really well.

SPEAKER_00 (33:46):
You gotta tell the story of when you um ran after
LVP in Las Vegas.

SPEAKER_01 (33:51):
Oh, that is slow breathing.

SPEAKER_02 (33:55):
So was it when was it before we no, it was be it
was after we met her at theTotal Wine in Boca.

SPEAKER_01 (34:01):
Yes.

SPEAKER_02 (34:01):
So I was okay, I was in Vegas and I was manifesting.
I had seen on Instagram that LVPwas on the PJ.
Oh my gosh.
And she was on her way to Vegas, and I went, oh my god, it is
happening.
I'm like, we're going to thecocktail garden, the Vanderpub
cocktail garden.
And let me tell you, the drinksin there are so delicious.

(34:23):
Really?
And we were supposed to go, wewere gonna go around like 4:30,
and I don't know, somethingdelayed us, but me and my
friends get over to Caesars, andI was live on Facebook, and we
were walking through the casino, and then I saw this like little
bit of a crowd as we're walkingup to the restaurant, and then I
saw her hat.
Oh and I went, This is not adrill.

(34:44):
LVP is in the building, and thisis not a drill.
We're manifesting, we're meetingLVP, it's meant to be, it's
happening.
So she's coming out and we'rewaiting in line to get in
because they weren't letting usin yet.
Apparently, she was just endinga private event.
And she comes out, and I'm likeseven people back, and I went,
Lisa, Lisa, like I will not beignored, right?

(35:06):
I flew all this way from FortLauderdale, Florida.
So she goes, she looks at me andI and she goes, darling, and I
said, Where are you going?
She goes, Oh, well, we're goingto dinner.
And I said, Well, you can'tleave.
I said, We're here to see you.
And then like Ken was there, andthen that guy, that designer guy
who does all her like ShishiFufu?
That guy?

(35:27):
The guy who does all the designin her restaurants.

SPEAKER_00 (35:29):
Yes, okay.

SPEAKER_02 (35:30):
And I was like, You can't leave us.
I said, We have to see you.
Oh my gosh.
This was things were taking aterrible turn on Beverly Hills,
and those bitches were beingreally nasty at her, and you're
all turning on her.

SPEAKER_00 (35:42):
She was the w they were the worst to her.

SPEAKER_02 (35:44):
I said, Lisa, I said, What is wrong with those
bitches in Beverly Hills?
They've turned on you.
And she's like, God, like youhave no idea.
And then, um, you know, becauseshe was just promoting the
opening of the cocktail garden.
So she goes, darling, take youup, take this picture and post
it on the Twitter.
So I did.
I don't even use Twitteranymore.
X, whatever it is.

(36:05):
Me either.
And I posted the picture and sheretweeted me, and I thought, oh
my god, oh my gosh, you made it.
But it was like, I have thevideo still to this day of me
saying, Where are you going?
Like, what are you doing?
You can't leave us.
Like, we're all standing here.
We want to see you.
She did she took pictures withus.
She was very gracious.
And I told her I hadn't met herin Boca and blah blah blah.

(36:25):
And she was just love.
I love her.

SPEAKER_00 (36:27):
I do too.
I think she's so classy and sofabulous.
Did you watch the new VanderpumpRules?
I watched it the other day, justthe episode one.
I'm people were saying they hateit.
I thought it was okay.
I can get into these people.

SPEAKER_02 (36:40):
I watched it because I have to see what all the
hullabaloo is about.

SPEAKER_00 (36:44):
Exactly.
I want to see who these newpeople are.
Let me see them.
I've got to tell the I've got totell your friends here.
Um, the time when we met uh Lisaum uh Teresa and we were at um
Allen B Cosmetics or Allen Bsomething, and we met her, we
had our photo with her, and thenwe're just kind of standing
there, and and Teresa's justlike right over there.

(37:05):
And I was like, what are wesupposed to do?
What are we supposed to do?
And you say, Teresa, I'm goingto Italy.
Where do you think I should go?
And you start this wholeconversation with her.
I'm like, how does Lydia do it,man?
You are just so brave, and youjust go for it, and then
everybody's you are so engaging, and everybody wants to talk to

(37:27):
you.
I love that about you.
It's so great.

SPEAKER_02 (37:31):
This was back in tough times.
She was still married to JuicyJoe, and that's right.

SPEAKER_00 (37:37):
Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_02 (37:38):
Things were not good.
And she was doing any appearanceshe could get to make it.

SPEAKER_00 (37:41):
And there were there were so many people at that
event.
So many people.

SPEAKER_02 (37:45):
So many people there.
And I remember um we juststarted chit-chatting, and I had
this we had a leopard dress onbecause I was so proud of myself
because I lost like 50 or 60pounds, and I was, you know,
feeling confident.
And you and I, I mean, you wewere looking fabulous.

SPEAKER_00 (38:00):
And I for some reason I wore a Bob Marley
t-shirt.
I don't know why.
I don't know why I did.
It was adorable, but I don'tknow why.

SPEAKER_02 (38:08):
You bought it on the way there.
Like you literally stopped atthe store and got it.
I remember you telling mebecause you didn't know what you
were wearing.
And I'm like, well, I'm wearinga leopard.

SPEAKER_00 (38:16):
Oh my gosh.
I know I was wearing leatherpants, so maybe that's why I was
just like, this is gonna be it.

SPEAKER_02 (38:21):
Yes.
Listen, you always can pull itoff.
You you always look great.
But it's we had so much fun, wehad so much fun at cosmetics
place or whatever.
And you know, meanwhile, thislady's probably just like
somebody book an appointment forsome botox and bought some
business, right?
Is Teresa there for to getpeople in the door?

SPEAKER_00 (38:42):
But it was I just remembered I met Dolores too.
Dolores, and she was at AllenB's other um place, and Dolores
is about the coolest person onthe planet, exactly how you see
her on TV.
So cool.

SPEAKER_02 (38:57):
And I'll tell you why.
Because well, besides LVP theQueen, because I went to
holidays with the housewives.
This is right before COVID.
This was December of 2019.
I know exactly when it wasbecause that was like a big
celeb month for me.
And I went to holidays with thehousewives.
Of course, I had the meet andgreet, as I always do.
Of course, and it was KellyDodd, oh my gosh, and Ramona

(39:19):
Singer.

SPEAKER_00 (39:20):
Oh dying! I want to meet Ramona so bad.

SPEAKER_02 (39:23):
And this is where I say you're doing it wrong
because you should have been themoderator.
So the Parker Playhouse, let metell you, no disrespect to the
Parker.
I love the venue, but their hostcanceled on them, like whoever
was supposed to moderate thetalk with them, and they had
some guy that worked at theParker.
No way in, and he didn't evenknow who these people were, and

(39:45):
I was so pissed.
Oh my gosh! I could havemoderated that panel seriously.
I didn't even know who thesewomen were, and I said, This is
such a disservice to the fans, Iwas pissed.

SPEAKER_00 (39:56):
Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_02 (39:58):
They had a fishbowl, and you could put questions in
for the girl for the ladies thatthey were gonna pull out of.
So, of course, I put like sixquestions in.
Of course.
So he kept pulling them out ofthe fishbowl.
He's like, Well, Lydia from FortLauderdale wants to know, and
Lydia from Fort Lauderdale wantsto know, and then by the time we
were done, everyone's like, Whothis bitch from Fort Laureal
talking about all the questions, and I'm like, Well, I'm sorry
you didn't know the fishbowl wasin the lobby.

(40:19):
Right?
Too bad.
Very poorly run.
But at the meet and greet, we'rewaiting in line, and Kelly was
lovely.
She was actually very gorgeousin person.

SPEAKER_00 (40:30):
She is stunning.

SPEAKER_02 (40:31):
Yeah, she's very pretty in person.
And then, of course, Ramona'sstanding there looking at
Annoyed with everybody.
And I said, Of course.
Ramona.
I said, What's wrong?
What's the matter?
She goes, Well, you know, I youknow, I'm waiting so long and
I'm hungry.
And I go, Somebody get thislittle Snickers.
She's family.
Snickers.
It's like the Snickerscommercial was out.

(40:53):
Like that fixes the hanger.
I said, Somebody get this lady aSnickers.
I said, Ramona, you got a verylong line of people waiting on
me.
I don't know what you're gonnado, but somebody get her a
Snickers.

SPEAKER_00 (41:02):
Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_02 (41:04):
Dolores Catania couldn't have been lovelier.
And I said, Dolores, when isyour Frankie and my Isabella?
When are they gonna gettogether?
Like, we have to be I love it.
She was so sweet to me, and shewas like, Frankie, well, you
know, he's very focused on hiscareer right now, blah, blah,
blah, blah.
And then she hugged and kissedme goodbye, like I was family.
Like, because we're all myfamily, all my family's from

(41:24):
Jersey.
I'm Italian, and I'm like, Ijust felt like I was with my
people.

SPEAKER_00 (41:27):
I love it.
She was lovely, and she'sgorgeous too, just as stunning
in real life.
Oh my gosh, she's beautiful.

SPEAKER_02 (41:35):
And that hair I don't think she needs, I don't
think she needs the work shegets.
Like she was kind of young to begoing through a facelift and a
BBO.
Right.
Yeah.
She did a lot to herself tooyoung, I think, but she does
look great.

SPEAKER_00 (41:48):
But it it looks natural.
It doesn't look like you know,or anything.
It looks just very enhanced.
Enhanced plus.

SPEAKER_02 (41:57):
Yes.
But what you see is what you getwith her.
I love that about her.

SPEAKER_00 (42:02):
Who have you not met yet that you're dying to meet?

SPEAKER_02 (42:06):
You mean in the Bravo verse?

SPEAKER_00 (42:08):
In the Bravo world.

SPEAKER_02 (42:10):
I guess I think I just want to finish off a cast,
right?
So, like Oh, yeah.
When I went to Bravo Con, it wasthe cast of Miami was all there,
but I didn't get to meet them.
But I have met Alexia andMarisol because I went to their
little um Marisol.

SPEAKER_00 (42:25):
I met her too.
Yes.
I love Marisol.

SPEAKER_02 (42:28):
Loved them.
I met their husbands too.
Um, so I loved them.
But so Kyle, I I asked thequestion on the TikTok that went
viral.

SPEAKER_00 (42:37):
Oh yes, I remember that.

SPEAKER_02 (42:39):
We had an opportunity to ask questions, so
I ran up to the microphone assoon as I knew what they were
doing.
Um, so I didn't really meet her,but I talked to her.
So I kind of consider that ameeting, sorta.
But you know, so we've gotErica, Kyle, LVP.
So I've met three from BeverlyHills, you know, but I've met a
couple from Jersey.
Like, I feel like I have toround off a cast.

SPEAKER_00 (43:01):
That would be very cool.
Didn't you meet Stasi too?
Didn't you go to the Stasi bookthing?
Yes.
I went to the Was she cool?

SPEAKER_02 (43:08):
I met her.
Yeah, she was lovely.
She was lovely.
I met her.
But let's talk about Scandaval.

SPEAKER_00 (43:14):
Oh yes, tell me about Scandaval because I liked
it that you hopped in there andtried to do an interview with
him.

SPEAKER_02 (43:19):
Well, you and I, you and I had a little celebrity
encounter with Schwartzy.
Don't worry about it.
Oh my god.

SPEAKER_00 (43:27):
And uh James Kennedy, man, we have got a long
list of the people that we'vemet.
Schwartz was so freaking cool.
I love him.
I love him.

SPEAKER_02 (43:35):
Oh my god.
So here we are at the Hard Rockbecause James Kennedy is DJing.
And I said, Tracy, my friendsfrom Orlando are on the Bright
Line coming down.
They're coming to Hard Rock.
And James Kennedy happens to beDJing tonight.
And you had you had boughtgeneral admission tickets to the
James Kennedy thing.
Little did we know he was gonnacome on at 1 a.m.

SPEAKER_00 (43:55):
Oh my gosh.
We were like, What?

SPEAKER_02 (43:58):
I know.
So then I'm texting you and I'mlike, you're not gonna believe
this.
I'm with my friends in the highlimit room, and they said we can
go to the nightclub and we'regonna roll VIP.
And I said, and your ass needsto be here with me.
So let me know when you gethere, because there was like
four of us, and we had this bigVIP table.
Like it was huge.

SPEAKER_00 (44:18):
It was we had a booth.

SPEAKER_02 (44:20):
We had a booth, it was great.
So I'm with these acquaintancesthat have graciously invited me
to come into the VIP and drinkthe Dom Perion, which I never
had, I had never had before.
And there was a bottles of boozein there.
It was the biggest bottle of DomI've ever seen in my life.
Because you have to spend like aminimum of 4K to be like even at

(44:40):
one of those tables.
Right.
So here I am on my teacher'ssalary, drinking champagne.
Like I'm I who do I think I am?

SPEAKER_00 (44:49):
We thought we were housewives.

SPEAKER_02 (44:52):
Oh my god, it was the best.

SPEAKER_00 (44:53):
So it was so much fun.

SPEAKER_02 (44:55):
The the square, the the booth next to the DJ, like
right next to us, was open.
And all of a sudden I turnaround and there's Brian Benny
from Family Karma.
Yes.
Well, I know Brian from he wentto the high school that I was
working at.
So I'm like, oh my god, Brian, what are you doing here?
Blah blah blah.
And he's like, Oh, James invitedus to come.
And then I turn around and thereis Tom Schwartz looking like a

(45:21):
snack.

SPEAKER_00 (45:22):
So cute, so adorable.

SPEAKER_02 (45:26):
He is so stinking cute and he is so funny.
So he turns, I turn around, andit's me and Schwartz looking at
each other, and he's like, Idon't know you.
And I went, Schwartz! And I justgave him a huge hug, like I was
the long-lost cousin, and he wasknew who I was.
And I went, it's okay.

(45:46):
I said, I'm not a stalker.
I said, I know Brian.
It's so nice to meet you.
I said, You gotta come meet myfriends.
And let me tell you, the gays, they were so thrilled.
My that were in the VIP were sothrilled to meet Tom, and you
would have thought, like, Imean, we just made the Bravo
verse for them.

SPEAKER_00 (46:03):
It was so awesome.
Who was that lady that was therethat you knew as well?
I didn't know her, but there wassome lady that was there that
was also a uh a reality showperson.
She had long black hair, reallysuper pretty.

SPEAKER_02 (46:16):
She was dating Brian.

SPEAKER_00 (46:17):
Uh, wasn't she a reality person too?

SPEAKER_02 (46:20):
I don't know.
I think she was.
So now the the connection herewas that Brian and Tom had both
been on Summer House together orWinter House, one of the houses.
They had just finished filmingone of the houses I didn't
watch.
So, you know, it gets to be alittle overwhelming.
I can't watch it all.
Like, I do not watch Salt LakeCity.
I know that's weird.

SPEAKER_00 (46:40):
Oh my gosh, I love Salt Lake City.
Love it, love it, love it.

SPEAKER_02 (46:44):
When they first announced that cast, I looked at
these women and they had suchenormous faces full of filler.
They did.
They were really hard to lookat.
They were Jen Shaw.
I don't know.

SPEAKER_00 (46:55):
Yeah, Jen Shaw's face was like literally a
square.
It was so full.
It was, and she's the ugliestugly personality, ugly, mean
person.
And I don't mean ugly in theface.
I just mean she's a horribleperson.
She just got out of jail.
So, and even Andy said, um, no,she will never come back.

(47:16):
She's she's the worst, meanestperson ever.
But um, I love Salt Lake City.

SPEAKER_02 (47:21):
Opportunity when you get it, if you get on reality
TV, come on, how do you messthat up?

SPEAKER_00 (47:25):
Oh, watch it.
Just watch like the f literallystart from the beginning because
Salt Lake is only like five fiveseasons in.
Watch like one, two, three ofseason one, and you'll see how
this lady messed her stuff up.
She is mean, screaming, yelling, she's horrible.
She wasn't even fun to hate.
Because you know you got thepeople that you there are fun to

(47:47):
hate.

SPEAKER_02 (47:47):
She's awful.

SPEAKER_00 (47:48):
And I'm so glad that she got arrested.

SPEAKER_02 (47:51):
I think fun to hate is leading us right back into
Tom Sandoval because Okay, yes.
Yes.
Okay, so the world hated him, right?
So it's this, you know, he justhappens to have been the victim
of the cheating scandal heardaround the world, right?
Seriously.
All been cheating on each other, sleeping with each other from
day one of Anthropology, right?

(48:13):
So, uh, you know, my husbandfollows these people because of
me.
He says, Oh, I saw Tom, somebodyor other from Bravo is gonna be
here.
Do you want to go?
And I said, Listen, I can'tguarantee I'm home that weekend
because I might be on a cruise.
Because, you know, I cruiseoften.
And I said, I don't know.
I said, if I if we do go, it'sgonna be a very last minute
thing.
And he's like, Well, I gotta askTracy if she wants to come down.

(48:34):
I said, Well, don't do thatbecause I don't know if I'm
going yet.
I said, just give me a minute tobreathe, right?
And I don't know if you hadplans or what was going on, but
at the last minute, like the daybefore, I gave him the green
light.
But of course, he buys the twotickets and mine's a VIP with
the meet and greet andeverything.
And we go.
And can I decide first of all, Ilove the culture room.

(48:56):
If you're ever in FortLauderdale, culture room is fun.
Man, we have people listeningaround the country and around
the globe, and it's like ifyou're in Fort Lauderdale and
there's a show at the cultureroom, especially if it's
somebody like from back in theday that you want to see it's
such a great venue because it'sso small.
And there's not a bad seat inthe house, and we like to go up
to the balcony and just lookdown at the stage.

(49:16):
So we go upstairs and we're kindof leaning against the you know
the bar, and the band comes out,and can I just tell you his band
is fantastic.

SPEAKER_00 (49:25):
Really?

SPEAKER_02 (49:26):
So his he's got great musicians that are
actually willing to be seen withhim and tour with him.
And they are fantasticmusicians.
I mean, they were really good.
So, of course, they're a coverband, which I'm fine with
because I love cover bands.
I go to the band.

SPEAKER_01 (49:42):
Right, exactly.

SPEAKER_02 (49:44):
So his thing had just gone viral from when he
like tried out for America's GotTalent and did Aha Take On Me.
And it was actually a funperformance.
So we're enjoying the show andhaving the best time ever.
And he was great.

SPEAKER_00 (49:59):
Really?
So good.

SPEAKER_02 (50:01):
And so it like, listen, I don't care.
You cheated on your girlfriend, who cares, right?
She should be thanking him.
He should be getting presentedof what she has made for her
success now?

SPEAKER_00 (50:12):
Seriously.
She would have gone nowhere ifshe would have not gone nowhere,
but she would have just beenstuck doing that same thing
forever.
So, yes, thank you, TomScandaball.

SPEAKER_02 (50:22):
Yeah, so thank you for ruining my life and tapping
my wallet.
We should all have thoseproblems.
Please.

SPEAKER_00 (50:30):
Well, who knew she was so talented?
We would have never known shewas so talented until this.
Who knew she'd sing like that, dance like that, act like that?
All we thought was she was justa mopi bartender.
I mean exactly.

SPEAKER_02 (50:45):
I feel like she should be thanking him, but she
wasn't gonna thank you.

SPEAKER_00 (50:48):
But so after the show, you go and meet him.

SPEAKER_02 (50:51):
We go in the courtyard, and my husband is so
funny because they kickedeverybody out that didn't have
the wristband, but my husbandsomehow survived sitting on a
chair in the corner.
And they didn't kick him out.
So when I was like second tolast to meet him, and I was
chit-chatting with the lady whowas selling his merch, and turns
out she's a super fan who askedif she could work for him and

(51:12):
twisted him to do the merch.
Out of here.

SPEAKER_01 (51:14):
Yes, oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_02 (51:16):
She went to see him like six different times and
finally was like, I want to workfor you.
Can I sell your merch?
I guess she's a realtor, so shehad a lot of flexibility or
whatever.
So we were chit-chatting aboutthe merch.
I didn't buy any merch though.
And then he comes up and hegoes, Hey, it's like, how are
ya?
What's your name?
And I'm like, Lydia.
And then he saw my husband, who,by the way, didn't have the

(51:36):
wristband on, and he goes, Hey,what what what's your name?
Come on over here, come on over,be with us.
And I he I go, This is myhusband, Steve.
He puts up all with my Bravofandom and he goes, I'm so
sorry, dude.
He's like, Oh my gosh.
Because I had to explain to myhusband that this guy caused the
cheating scandal heard aroundthe world, the most hated man on

(51:58):
the globe at one point.
So I had to like try to explainto him everything.

SPEAKER_00 (52:05):
And he's probably like, wait, what?

SPEAKER_02 (52:07):
First of all, he's extremely handsome.
He looks great.
And I but I did say to him, Igo, Tom, I said, You're a little
fen.
Are they feeding you on thistour?
I said, I'm a mom, I'm Italian.
Oh, I need a little something.
He goes, No, no, they're takinggood care of me.
So it turns out his supermodelgirlfriend.

SPEAKER_00 (52:26):
Oh, yeah.
Tell me about her.

SPEAKER_02 (52:28):
He's from Benita Springs.

SPEAKER_00 (52:31):
She is?

SPEAKER_02 (52:32):
She was she's her family's from Benita Springs.
Oh my gosh.
That's where they were endingthe tour, was they were ending
it in Benita and spending a fewdays with her family.
Oh, that's right.
They went and he was bartendingat the uncle's bar.
So yeah.

SPEAKER_00 (52:48):
Out of here.

SPEAKER_02 (52:48):
Oh man.
And that's what I like abouthim.
He's like, I don't care that thewhole world hated me.
I'm gonna come out.
I'm gonna do my thing.
And people are still showing upfor it.
And I am so here for it.
I mean, come on.
Were we not taught to forgivepeople?
Correct.

SPEAKER_00 (53:04):
Correct.
Yes.
Well, do you think he's gonnacontinue doing this?
Like, what is he doing now?

SPEAKER_02 (53:09):
Well, okay, so rumor has it.
Rumor has to be a tumor thathe's joining the valley.

SPEAKER_00 (53:16):
No.

SPEAKER_02 (53:17):
Yes.

SPEAKER_00 (53:18):
So Jax is out and Tom will be coming in?

SPEAKER_02 (53:22):
Perhaps.

SPEAKER_00 (53:23):
You know what?
I love the Tom Tom.
So if Shorts and Sandoval aregonna be there, I like it.

SPEAKER_02 (53:28):
I didn't know that.
I hadn't read that little juicytidbit, or otherwise I would ask
about it.
But I do have to tell you, Iasked him to be on the podcast
because I do ask everybody Imeet.
I saw that?
Lala said yes, that she would beon my podcast, and she never
did.
She didn't keep her promise.
But the episode I had withLala's personal assistant, her
former personal assistant, is mytop downloaded episode.

SPEAKER_00 (53:49):
Stop it.
Very nice.

SPEAKER_02 (53:51):
My number one episode for like 300 downloads.
Whoa.

SPEAKER_00 (53:55):
I love it.

SPEAKER_02 (53:56):
I know.
I'm growing slow andorganically.
But La Lala can't said she wouldbe on my podcast and she lied.
She didn't come.
But Tom said, he goes, you knowwhat?
He goes, Lydia, is like podcastsis like are so scary for me.
I feel like they are just sorisky.

SPEAKER_00 (54:15):
Oh, right.

SPEAKER_02 (54:16):
You never know what people are gonna say and how
they're gonna edit you.
And I said, Tom, you could trustme.
I would never do that.

SPEAKER_00 (54:22):
You can trust me.
Trust me.

SPEAKER_02 (54:24):
You just sent me 30 minutes ago, right?
Trust me.

SPEAKER_00 (54:29):
We're like, oh my gosh.
So do you have like his do youhave his like manager's phone
number and stuff that you can belike, hey man, I was seriously
serious.
Give me a call when you got evenfive minutes.

SPEAKER_02 (54:40):
No, we didn't get that far.
And Joey Faton, the same thing.
Because when I met him, I said,I want you to be on the podcast.
He's like, get with this personand that person, and we'll see
if we can make it work.
But you know, they just blowsmoke up your ass.

SPEAKER_00 (54:50):
Right.
Talk to my people.

SPEAKER_02 (54:52):
Tracy St.
George.
Tracy St.
George doesn't blow smoke upanybody's ass.

SPEAKER_00 (54:55):
Well, it only took me this long to finally do it
because we wanted to do this forso long.
And then I was like, nope, no.
Well, I just couldn't, couldn't,couldn't.
Then I'm like, wait a minute,I've got time now.
So we can do this every day.

SPEAKER_02 (55:05):
Oh my god.
I think we're just a force to bereckoned with.

SPEAKER_00 (55:08):
I do too.
Right?

SPEAKER_02 (55:10):
I feel like you and I are unstoppable.

SPEAKER_00 (55:13):
I agree.
Agreed.
Especially if we have someVanderpomp wine and sangrias.
We can do that.
Pomptinis.
We can make our own.

SPEAKER_02 (55:24):
So you're out and about in Palm Beach quite a bit.

SPEAKER_00 (55:26):
Well, you know, last night I was gonna.
Do you know Sue Bell?
Do you follow Sue Bell?

SPEAKER_02 (55:31):
I know who you're talking about.

SPEAKER_00 (55:32):
Oh yeah.
I love her.
And yesterday she was actuallydoing an appearance because she
lives in Palm Beach.
So she was doing an appearanceat Five Story in Palm Beach.
And my friend and I were gonnago there because she was there
for like two hours or something.
And then we ended up not beingable to go there because we were
sidetracked by tacos.
So we end up making it overthere.

(55:55):
Right?

SPEAKER_01 (55:56):
Tacos with you.

SPEAKER_00 (55:57):
Okay, we can totally do tacos, and then we'll have to
see when Sue Bell comes back.
But um, yes, I love her and Iwant to meet her so badly.
She is just so funny.
I can't believe I haven't seenher anyway, cruising up and
down, you know, Worth Avenue andwhatnot, shopping around.
But oh, she is just so fabulous.

SPEAKER_02 (56:14):
You know, Bethany Frankel's been spending a lot of
time in Palm Beach.

SPEAKER_00 (56:17):
Yes, she has, and I think she posts it after because
um if she posted it now, I'd belike, bye, I've got to go see
Bethany.
Did you see recently somebodylike bought her for his wife for
her birthday?
So bought her an appearance fromBethany.
How fun is that?

SPEAKER_02 (56:35):
Well, that's what I say.
Anything is for sale, right?
If you have enough money, youcan have any VIP premium
experience.
But I didn't know that she wasfor sale.
Like, where where's the websitewhere you can book Bethany?

SPEAKER_00 (56:47):
Where we can buy Bethany.
Maybe Bethany would like to beon your show and she could tell
us all of the levels of thingsthat we could buy from her.
I just want her to stop eatingwith her mouth open.
I hate that when she does that.

SPEAKER_02 (57:07):
Right.

SPEAKER_00 (57:07):
And it falls out of her mouth.

SPEAKER_02 (57:09):
I know.
And I did I did buy the TraderJoe's chicken salad because of
her.

SPEAKER_00 (57:13):
Is it good?
Uh-huh.
It's okay.
You know what's you know what'sreally good, chicken salad?
The um chicken salad from Aldi.
It's delicious.

SPEAKER_02 (57:22):
They actually do.
They have good.
Um, you know, I just think thatpart of the problem is we
idolize these people and weinflate their egos.

SPEAKER_00 (57:34):
Yes.

SPEAKER_02 (57:34):
So we can't help ourselves.

SPEAKER_00 (57:36):
We can't.
They are so fabulous, they're sofun.
And it's either we're watchingto know what not to do, or we're
watching them to do something.
So it it's I I can't get enoughof them.
I love their hair, their style, their attitude, their
catchphrases that they use.
I mean, I love it.
I love it.
Yeah.

SPEAKER_02 (57:56):
And I just, you know what I the one thing, the reason
why I think I do like Bethanyand I follow her still is
because everything she does orpurchases or has is so far out
of my reach, right?
I'm never having a bargain.
I don't honestly, I think it'san ugly bag.
I would, I wouldn't even wantone.
If somebody gifted it to me, I'dsell it.
But I do love her humanitarianefforts with Be Strong.

(58:18):
I think that's very true.

SPEAKER_00 (58:20):
Well, she thinks that I either I'm missing that
stuff with Be Strong now becauseI remember her doing that in the
past, but now I just see her,I'm gonna save the world, you
guys.
You're welcome.
So I need more Be Strong stuffbecause I totally agree with
you.
Very admirable.

SPEAKER_02 (58:35):
That's my biggest beef.
And they say like you're notsupposed to advertise your
charity, and most of thesecelebrities do their stuff
anonymously, and that's fine.
But I think when you have thatplatform, so she does she
partners with the GlobalEmpowerment Mission, and they're
like down in Miami and they havea big warehouse, then you know,
there's a lot of activism goingon behind the scenes to prepare
for when the next disasterstrikes.
So it's only when thosedisasters strike that you see

(58:57):
the action and the social mediastuff really, you know, get
public.
But I just wish more of thecelebrities would be a little
more philanthropic.
I think that would be very goodfor their image.
Be a little more charitablebecause nobody feels sorry for
you when you're walking aroundwith a million-dollar birkin
bag.
I mean, that's ridiculous.

SPEAKER_00 (59:17):
Or like, oh, this is or they like have like 5,000
Birkenbags.
It's like, really?
I would like to.
My world ambition in life is tobe a philanthropist.
I would like to have millions ofdollars, keep some of it, but
give a lot away.
That's what I would like to do.
So if anybody would like to helpme out with my philanthropic

(59:39):
dreams, yes, I can give you myVenmo.

SPEAKER_02 (59:42):
I know I was gonna say, so so are you are you
proposing that we start our ownnonprofit and we walk the
streets of Worth Avenue and helpthe less fortunate?
Oh, wait, they're not on WorthAvenue.

SPEAKER_00 (59:55):
But we could get the donations.
We could, I don't know what wewould sell, but we could set up
a little table and say, help usfund the disasters of be more
charitable.
Exactly.
Be more charitable.
I think you could do it.

SPEAKER_02 (01:00:10):
And I did notice that you did take your mom to
Italy at at one point.

SPEAKER_00 (01:00:14):
Yes, my mom and I had the best trip.
Yes, we did.

SPEAKER_02 (01:00:17):
Is your mom in Wisconsin still?

SPEAKER_00 (01:00:19):
Yes, yes.
She actually just called wellbefore we were doing this
podcast.

SPEAKER_02 (01:00:23):
But when is she gonna join everybody else who
moves to Florida?

SPEAKER_00 (01:00:27):
Ask her that all the time.
I tell them, you don't have tostay up here in the frozen
tundra of Wisconsin, that forsome reason I'm going up to
tomorrow.
But um Yeah, I keep telling him,you gotta come down here and
live in Florida.
It's fabulous.
But now that it's so expensive, who knows?

SPEAKER_02 (01:00:43):
I know.

SPEAKER_00 (01:00:44):
But my son, you know, moved out to Arizona.
What's up?

SPEAKER_02 (01:00:47):
Yes, Hunter.

SPEAKER_00 (01:00:49):
Yes, Hunter moved, moved away from me.

SPEAKER_02 (01:00:52):
How's he doing?
What is he doing, though?
Because he actually went tomedia school, didn't he?

SPEAKER_00 (01:00:57):
He went to full sale and he went there for um film
editing, et cetera.
And now he works for this guynamed Hunter Constantine, who is
a professional shooter.
Like and he does um shootingcompetitions.
He does like Hunter, and it'sfunny because my son's name is
Hunter and he works for Hunter.

(01:01:18):
They were just at Smith andWesson the other day because
Smith and Wesson just debuted abrand new firearm.
So Hunter Constantine will goand review the gun and all that
stuff, the firearm, and then myhunter will film it and do all
that stuff.
And then Hunter, my Hunter takesit back, edits it, and then puts
it on all the socials, this, that, and the other.

(01:01:40):
But they were just in um SouthAfrica for like two weeks for, I
don't know what it's called, butit's kind of like the Olympics
of shooting.
So they were over there.
He was actually working for uhBlacktip H, which is a um these
guys that are also YouTubers, and then they go out into the

(01:02:02):
Atlantic Ocean and they catchblacktip sharks.
And Hunter started working forhim and was doing all the
filming for him.
And that's how he met HunterConstantine.
So it's just kind of they alljust kind of melded together.
But he's so good.
He's so busy all the time, though.
I'll call him up.
How are you, Hunter?
I'm busy.

SPEAKER_02 (01:02:21):
Yeah, you know, do your kids do that?

SPEAKER_00 (01:02:23):
Daniel Bella, do they do that to you when you
call?
I'm busy.

SPEAKER_02 (01:02:26):
No, because you know, Bella became a flight
attendant.

SPEAKER_00 (01:02:29):
I know that's my dream job, too.
Oh, so cool.

SPEAKER_02 (01:02:33):
If we could afford to live on flight attendant pay
at our age, that would be adifferent story.
Right.

SPEAKER_00 (01:02:37):
Well, we could all be like the golden girls and
just live together and be flightattendants and whatever.

SPEAKER_02 (01:02:42):
That would be amazing.
You know, there's this one ladyI follow, she's like 62, she's
over in Europe, and she became aflight attendant like later in
life, and she loves fashion, soshe does her outfit of the day,
and then she makes travelcontent like in her flight
attendant outfit.

SPEAKER_00 (01:02:54):
Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_02 (01:02:54):
She's just skipping through Europe as a flight
attendant, and I love her.

SPEAKER_00 (01:02:59):
Well, we gotta find out her full scoop.
Where does she live?
How does she survive?

SPEAKER_02 (01:03:02):
I have actually maybe she sleeps on the plane,
doesn't have a spot.

SPEAKER_00 (01:03:11):
Yes, because we've got questions.

SPEAKER_02 (01:03:13):
We have questions.

SPEAKER_00 (01:03:14):
We've got questions.
Tell me about uh Bella'sadventures.
I want to know the Bella flightattendant adventures.

SPEAKER_02 (01:03:21):
Yeah, so she became a flight attendant for United
Airlines, and she is based outof Denver, so I moved her to
Denver.
And right now she's in Oregon, and then she actually has a
layover on Saturday night inPalm Beach, so she'll be a
little bit of a night for onenight.
Oh, how fantastic.
Then she'll go on, you know, she'll finish her three or
four-day trip, whatever she'son.

(01:03:42):
So she's just back and forth allover the place.
I'm waiting for her to get likea really good layover somewhere
that I can join her.

SPEAKER_00 (01:03:48):
Oh my gosh, so cool.

SPEAKER_02 (01:03:50):
Yeah, like she met she met a crew member who holds
a line to London, and she waslike, Oh, if I ever don't feel
like doing this trip, I'll giveit to you.
And I was like, Yes, give it toher.

SPEAKER_00 (01:03:58):
Yes, exactly.
Oh my gosh.
How cool.

SPEAKER_02 (01:04:02):
I'm excited for her because I feel like when you're
young, that's when you have totake the risks and you have to
do things and try things.
Like, like if Hunter didn't dothe schooling and go work in
filming and editing and andcinematography, like he wouldn't
know if he really loved it ornot.
You know, and I think there's somany opportunities that people
are not aware of because contentcreation and and and filming and

(01:04:22):
editing, there's so much contentthat we are, you know, we see
every single day.
Somebody's making it, somebody'sfilming it, somebody's editing
it.
Look at Mel Robbins, like herpodcast.
She has a whole team of people, and she's always hiring for
editors.
And you have to be really goodat the visual effects and the
different camera angles, and itis such a skill, it's such an

(01:04:43):
art, and I don't think it'sgoing anywhere.

SPEAKER_00 (01:04:45):
And it's like not only the filming, but then it's
sitting in front of your cam infront of your computer editing,
editing for hours and doing thethe clips and this, that, and
the other.
I mean, that that's a big job.
People think it's easy, it'snot.

SPEAKER_02 (01:04:58):
I mean, think about on the large scale for movies.
Right.

SPEAKER_00 (01:05:07):
But yeah, hence why when we see like a movie is
coming out in 2027, why do wehave to wait so long?
Well, now we know why.
Editing.
Yeah, exactly.
I just love that TikTok has thatauto cut or whatever where it's
like you put all your stuff inand then it does all the clips
and puts the music behind.
It's like, oh, thanks.
That was easy.

SPEAKER_02 (01:05:24):
I haven't tried it.

SPEAKER_00 (01:05:25):
I need to oh, it's so cool.

SPEAKER_02 (01:05:27):
I haven't been really that active on the talk,
but I do need to ramp up alittle bit.
I just haven't figured out whatmy niche is.
Like, what is my stuff?
Like because I love to cruise, but I don't really want to be a
cruise content creator.

SPEAKER_00 (01:05:42):
Your cruise content is fantastic.
Um, all of your outfits, youneed to do outfit of the day for
your cruises.
I want to see swimming suit ofthe day, um, lunch outfit,
dinner outfit.
You are chef's kiss.
You're you are on top of it.

SPEAKER_02 (01:05:57):
I have to credit my friend Bonnie who elevates the
fashion game, and we do a littlematchy matchy.
Okay, so you're gonna appreciatethis because you're from
Wisconsin.
So we call ourselves Laverne andShirley.

SPEAKER_00 (01:06:07):
Oh, I love it.

SPEAKER_02 (01:06:08):
You know, she's a little flaky sometimes, and you
know, we laugh and carry on.
So we Schlamiel and Schlamozzleare ourselves all over the
cruise ships in matchingoutfits.

SPEAKER_00 (01:06:19):
Fantastic.
I love that, and that makes itmore fun, and then people
recognize you and they want toknow you, and then you say, I've
got a podcast.

SPEAKER_02 (01:06:28):
I know, I love it.
You should be on my podcast.
Like, oh, you have a podcast?
And again, fancy like that.
Like anybody can have a podcast.
It's 2025.

SPEAKER_00 (01:06:35):
Right?
You should do a podcast fromlike the um the uh what what is
like the lounge called?
Like the lounge on there.

SPEAKER_02 (01:06:45):
I should.

SPEAKER_00 (01:06:46):
Yes, they always do trivia in there, so just say no
trivia today.
We're doing a podcast, folks.

SPEAKER_02 (01:06:52):
I know.
You know what?
And it's funny, I do schmoozeand I get friendly with some of
the cruise directors, so maybe Icould have that happen.
Yes! This is what I did withVirgin Voyages, okay.
This is where, like, because Ihave the imposter syndrome, but
then I go, okay, stop, snap outof that right now.
You are worthy to be here.

SPEAKER_00 (01:07:08):
That's right.

SPEAKER_02 (01:07:10):
And so I sent, I found out that they were doing a
private media like tour of thebrilliant lady, which is the new
Virgin Voyages ship that justcame to Miami.
And I sent this media requestand I said, hi.
I said, My name is Lydia, and Ihave a podcast.
It's legit, it's on allplatforms.
Here's the link.
And I said, I would like to knowhow I can get the media

(01:07:32):
credentials to be on board forthe ship tour.
Do you know they they invited meand gave me the VIP?

SPEAKER_00 (01:07:38):
Oh my gosh!

SPEAKER_02 (01:07:40):
But I was too scared to go to Richard's rooftop.
I really wanted to meet RichardBranson.

SPEAKER_00 (01:07:44):
Oh man!

SPEAKER_02 (01:07:46):
I know, I don't want to grow up there.

SPEAKER_00 (01:07:48):
Oh, you totally should have.
I can't believe you didn't.
I find that very that is verynot Lydia of you.

SPEAKER_02 (01:07:55):
It's so unlike me.

SPEAKER_00 (01:07:56):
It's so unlike you.

SPEAKER_02 (01:07:58):
I think I thought that my badge wouldn't work
there, but it turns out it didhave the VIP invitation.
I had went.
I know.
So Well, just do it again.
But I'll do it again.
Exactly.
Do it again.
Anytime there's an event now,I'm like, you know what?
I have a podcast.
I would like to know how to getmedia credentials to join this
thing or this event today,whatever.

(01:08:18):
But the really the goal is toget invited for somebody from a
PR group or a marketing group ofa brand to reach out to you.

SPEAKER_00 (01:08:25):
Yes.

SPEAKER_02 (01:08:26):
Until then, I'll just keep pedaling myself, you
know.

SPEAKER_00 (01:08:28):
Correct.
Correct.
Honk your own horn.
Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_02 (01:08:32):
So, do you have any good events or anything coming
up uh through the new year, orare you going to be away?

SPEAKER_00 (01:08:36):
Uh, I'm going to be away.
I'm leaving for Wisconsintomorrow.
Then I come back.
Um yeah, I don't have anythingcoming up.
Oh, uh Brett Michaels is comingto town.
And he will be in Pompado BeachAmphitheater in March.
He's so awesome and so fun.
And he invited me to come onstage and play the bongos with
him.
So I'm Are you okay?

unknown (01:08:58):
No.

SPEAKER_00 (01:08:59):
So hopefully that comes true, and hopefully he
doesn't forget.
But he's like, Yeah, definitelycome on stage, come sit.
So I was like, okay, totally.
So I'll be doing that.

SPEAKER_02 (01:09:08):
Well, I don't know if I'm in town that day, but if
I am, I will be there.

SPEAKER_00 (01:09:11):
Okay, good.
Okay.
And then maybe we can have himdo a quick podcast thing.

SPEAKER_02 (01:09:16):
Oh my god.
So you never know.
I love him.
I I met him.

SPEAKER_00 (01:09:20):
He's the nicest man ever.
So cool.

SPEAKER_02 (01:09:25):
He's so cool.
And I did get a uh Steve got acameo.
He bought me a cameo from himafter my mom passed.
I saw that.

SPEAKER_00 (01:09:31):
I saw that.
Yes.
Me too.
Me too.
Yeah.
It's annoying.
It's like, how many why why dopeople want to be fake Brett
Michaels?
I mean, he's awesome, butreally?
That's he okay.

unknown (01:09:46):
All right.

SPEAKER_02 (01:09:47):
It's so wild.
The internet is a wild place,Tracy.

SPEAKER_00 (01:09:50):
It is, it's a wild place.
All right.

SPEAKER_02 (01:09:53):
Well, any anything.
Okay, so that's pretty exciting.
I don't know how we talk BrettMichaels.
We're gonna have to look forthat in the spring.
No, his his show is great.
I've seen him many times inconcert, and we got to meet him
at the Hard Rock the last timehe was here.
In fact, that is how I met thetone because really Brett
Michaels, Brett Michaels comesout is right before COVID.

(01:10:13):
It was this it was December 3rd.
I had to go to New York the nextday for a trip, so I was like
literally at a like a 6 a.m.
flight the next morning.
And I almost told Steve to sellthe tickets because I was like,
it's gonna be such a late nightand we gotta get an early
morning flight.
And he's like, come on, I said, okay, I'm gonna rally.
So he did a special for like 200bucks, you could have a meet and
greet, and all the proceeds weregoing to like the veterans

(01:10:34):
because you know he's socurious.

SPEAKER_00 (01:10:35):
Oh he's so into the veterans, yes.

SPEAKER_02 (01:10:38):
He is so he's like, all the proceeds are gonna go to
the veterans charities that Isupport.
It's 200 bucks, so like he hadlike a line like 40, 50 people
on.
Yeah.
So anyway, we did the meet andgreet.
And when he was done performing, like when just before he was
about to do nothing but a goodtime to end the show, he goes,
All right, I got two of the mostbadass rock and rollers on I'm

(01:11:00):
gonna bring out on stage withme.
These are two of my best friendsin the business, baddest rock
and rollers you ever known.
And I'm thinking, oh my god, whothe hell is he gonna bring out?
Like this Alice Cooper?
Oh my god.
Ozzy.
And he goes, please welcome tothe stage, Chris Kirkpatrick and
Joey Fatone.

SPEAKER_00 (01:11:17):
And I went biggest rock and rollers.

SPEAKER_02 (01:11:23):
Because I was like, who's bringing out?
Ozzie Osborne?
I mean, this is like Exactly.

SPEAKER_00 (01:11:27):
Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_02 (01:11:28):
So when I tell you I almost lost my shit.
Because at that point, JoeyFatone's on the bucket list to
me, because he was crushed.
And I said to Steve, I'm like,we gotta be on a plane in like
eight hours.
And I can't leave the hard rockbecause Joey Fatone is in the
same building as me.
And now I can't leave the hardrock.
I gotta find him.

(01:11:49):
Do you know we went to thesteakhouse?
And he was there?
He was there eating.

SPEAKER_01 (01:11:54):
Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_02 (01:11:54):
Brett was finishing up his meeting greet.
They were in the restaurant thathe was gonna be meeting up with
them after.
Because I was like, there's onlyone place you go if you're a
celebrity to eat.
It's Council of Steakhouse.
And I'm like, oh my god, I haveI I I can't leave.

SPEAKER_00 (01:12:09):
Did you go slide up right next to him?

SPEAKER_02 (01:12:11):
I'm standing there and I can't I can't go to the
table because I'm like, I can'tinterrupt somebody's dinner.
Like, I have manners.
I have I don't have as muchcooth as I need to at times, but
I have manners.
And then all of a sudden, thisbig humongous security guard
starts walking towards me, andI'm like, oh my god, they're
onto me.
They know I'm not supposed to behere, even though I've eaten in
that restaurant many times.
I'm like, but I don't have areservation.

(01:12:32):
Like, I'm not eating heretonight.
Like, I'm a fraud.
I'm not supposed to be here.
Huge guy starts walking towardsme, this like security guy.
And there's Joey Fatone walkingwith him, coming straight
towards me.

SPEAKER_00 (01:12:44):
Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_02 (01:12:45):
And I'm like, oh my god, they found me out.
I'm a fraud, I'm not supposed tobe here.
And I go, I'm so sorry to botheryou.
I'm like, but I just I just haveto talk to you.
And he's like, Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And I had just gotten a newphone.
I didn't even know how to workit.
I was so nervous.
Oh no.
He took my phone, he flipped thecamera, he took our selfie.

(01:13:06):
Unfortunately, did not ask me torun away with him.
Like I really go, I was like, what are you doing right here?
Like he goes, actually, I wastrying to go to the bathroom.
I went, oh my god.
He goes, No, he was showing mewhere the bathroom was.
I haven't been here before.

SPEAKER_00 (01:13:23):
That's a fun conversation to have.
I was going to the bathroom.

SPEAKER_02 (01:13:26):
Fatone was great.
He was actually here becauseBrett Michaels was like the
Grand Marshal for the Winterfestboat parade and doing all the
events at the Hard Rock, andthey had the concert.
So Fatone is always in townduring this actually particular
week of December for all theWinterfest activities.
So it's not odd to see themtogether.
And I was just like, it was likeone of the best nights of my

(01:13:48):
life.
I got Michaels and Fatone.
Oh my god.

SPEAKER_00 (01:13:51):
Gosh, same night.
That's unbelievable.

SPEAKER_02 (01:13:54):
The week before that was holidays with the housewife.
So it was in December toremember.
And then the world shut down forCOVID.

SPEAKER_00 (01:13:59):
Boo.
Boo.
And then the world shut down.
Lemo.

SPEAKER_02 (01:14:03):
And then the world shut down.

SPEAKER_00 (01:14:06):
But what a way to see it out.

SPEAKER_02 (01:14:08):
I just want to thank you so much.
Thank you.
On the podcast today.

SPEAKER_00 (01:14:13):
I feel like we could talk for three more hours.
We've got to continue this.

SPEAKER_02 (01:14:18):
I know.
I'm going to spare our listenersthat for now.
Until next time when we havemore to talk about.

SPEAKER_00 (01:14:25):
Yes.

SPEAKER_02 (01:14:25):
So uh just remind us when are you on the air on what
station in case we want tolisten?

SPEAKER_00 (01:14:30):
I am on Sunny 1079 afternoons two until six.
Currently, we are SouthFlorida's official Christmas
music station.
After that, we're going to goback to the greatest hits of the
70s, 80s, and 90s.
So all of our favorite stuffthat we grew up with and partied
with and all that stuff.

SPEAKER_02 (01:14:48):
I love it.
Well, I love the listening.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you for being my bestfriend today.

SPEAKER_00 (01:14:55):
