The Humiliation Tour Continues, But Still No Case Day 8 of the Diddy trial offered more spectacle than substance. Pugs Moran recapped the latest developments from the Manhattan courtroom, where Judge Subramanian continued to run a tight, efficient ship. The day ended early—not because of delays, but because they simply ran out of useful material. Again. The big anticipated moment—testimony from Kid Cudi—didn’t happen. Prosecutors say he had a scheduling issue, but it raised eyebrows. He’s now expected to testify on Day 9. Given his past with Cassie and Diddy—including that time Diddy allegedly blew up his car—his appearance could finally deliver something meaningful. Instead, the jury spent the day looking at photos from the federal raid on Diddy’s Florida mansion. What did they see? Sex toys, Astroglide, high heels, some weed, and motivational affirmations like “You are a legend” scrawled on his bathroom mirror. None of it illegal. All of it embarrassing. Special agent Gerard Gannon offered a guided humiliation tour of Diddy’s lifestyle, complete with dildos on shelves and lingerie photos. Guns were also shown, but without evidence of illegality. The prosecution’s case still leans more on cringe than crime. Later, celebrity forensic psychologist Dr. Dawn Hughes (who also testified for Amber Heard) tried to explain why someone like Cassie might stay in an abusive relationship. She never treated or spoke to Cassie—her testimony was generic expert commentary, not specific analysis. The day wrapped with former Diddy assistant George Kaplan taking the stand. Granted immunity to testify, Kaplan described miserable work conditions, long hours, and Diddy’s temper. His most shocking story? Getting chewed out for buying two half-gallons of water instead of a full gallon. No joke. As Pugs put it: eight days in, the prosecution is still showing us Diddy is a creep—not a criminal mastermind. Maybe that changes tomorrow, if Kid Cudi shows.
