Episode 14 of the Digital Introverts podcast features Mahesh Vellanki. An expert in ecommerce and marketplace growth, Mahesh is the Co-Founder and Head of Growth for Rally. In this role, he drives supply, demand, and overall community growth; leading business development, community, operations, marketing, communications, and customer service functions.
Prior to founding Rally, he served as a venture capitalist at Redpoint Ventures from 2012 through 2018, where he led growth investments in the consumer internet, ecommerce, online education, fintech, and healthcare spaces. Before joining Redpoint, Mahesh was an investment banker at Citi, where he worked on IPO and M&A transactions in the consumer internet space with companies such as Zillow, Facebook, and Groupon.
He was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 VC list (2016) and the LinkedIn Top Voices list (2016) for his writing on the technology industry.
Mahesh is a graduate from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.
