Francesco Ziliani, CEO at SpinetiX, joined Digital Signage Today editor Daniel Brown via video link from Lausanne, Switzerland to discuss the Millenium smart building's adoption of SpinetiX digital signage and how the project illustrates major trends in the industry.
Serving as a hub for commerce, business, and hospitality, the Millennium building prides itself as "the smartest building in Switzerland," serving as headquarters for businesses like SpinetiX along with providing 5-star hospitality and services for companies and the local community, including (but not limited to):
- A 500-seat auditorium and conference center.
- A ballroom.
- A private club in partnership with Montreux Jazz Festival.
- Gastronomic restaurants.
- A gym.
- A kindergarten.
- Retail Outlets.
However, what makes the building stand out most is, arguably, its approach to experiential design, along with its innovation as a smart building. This includes advanced technologies such as interactive digital signage. In fact, the management of Millennium and SpinetiX shared such a mutual admiration of each other's business philosophy and practice that SpinetiX chose to make Millennium its new headquarters, while Millennium adopted SpinetiX hardware and software to power its interactive digital signage networks.
Sharing the story of SpinetiX and Millennium's partnership in digital signage, Ziliani explained how the project helped to illustrate major trends in the digital signage industry, key lessons for success among operators and businesses leveraging signage, and powerful insights for the future of the digital signage industry.
