Actualmente, Genoveva se encuentra investigando temas relacionados con el manejo de grandes volúmenes de datos y la ciencia de datos.
Su trabajo comenzó en la gestión de datos en la nube y ha evolucionado hacia la ciencia de datos, explorando su conexión con los algoritmos de inteligencia artificial. Hoy en día, sus investigaciones se centran en los Service Level Objectives (SLOs), o Objetivos de Nivel de Servicio, un área clave para resolver problemas complejos en procesos just-in-time aplicados a grandes volúmenes de datos con arquitecturas diversas.
