If this has been a blessing toyou and you think that people
are going to be blessed by whatit is that you have received,
would you do us a small favor?
And just this is kind of likeour way of taking up an offering
you can go through and send itout, to pay it forward and be a
blessing to somebody else.
And so today I want to get intosome subjects today that God
(02:12):
has been putting into my spirit.
We were in church on Sundaymorning and the Lord really
began to impress upon me.
You know, one of the thingsthat's missing in the body of
Christ nowadays.
We've become so systematic intohow we do things, and what I
mean by systematic is that wehave come to a point where we
get in, we sing our three, foursongs, we do our announcements
(02:32):
on a video or in person, andthen we take up our offering and
once a month we do communion, and then we have a message and
we are set on a time clock andthen right after that we go into
an altar call, if we have thoseeven at all.
Nowadays people don't even doaltar calls anymore If you have
one of those and then after thatwe wrap up the door and we make
sure we got our StarbucksFrappuccino and whatever else
(02:53):
that we have during service andwe move on about our business.
You know, we become sosystematic in how we're doing
things we don't allow the HolySpirit to just flow.
You need to be in a ministry, ladies and gentlemen, where the
power of God is active, wherethe word of God is taught, where
the word of God is lived out, where men and women of God are
raised to be men and women ofGod of integrity.
How important is it, more nowthan ever, that we have men and
(03:16):
women of God that are like that, and so the reason why I'm
saying that is Sunday.
We were in the middle of serviceand the Holy Ghost just stepped
into the room and we starteddoing a testimony service and,
my good God, was it powerful?
We started talking about peoplethat were supernaturally
converted, people that got drawnto the house of God after two
years of being absent.
One person was in a horriblecar accident and man, I mean,
(03:39):
when they got in the accident, somebody, 50 miles an hour, came
up behind them, crashed intothem.
They walked out, didn't evenhave a scratch.
Their car received minimaldamage, but the other car behind
them that hit them was likecompletely totaled.
I mean just so many differentthings that had happened.
We had a guy that preached hisfirst sermon on Facebook.
We have another guy that'sopening up a recovery, a freedom
(04:02):
recovery group.
I mean just so many differentthings have been happening.
We just stepped into a newbuilding and we just took a
moment to say, god, we thank you, thank you for being good to us
, thank you, god, for beingwonderful.
You know, sometimes you need totake a moment and just be
thankful, not for what you'rebelieving God for, not even for
what he's doing right now, inthis moment that you're hoping
(04:23):
that he's doing, but what he'salready done.
Sometimes we need to thank Godjust for the fact that we are
saved.
You know, people are one of thethings that drives me up a wall
.
You ever do something forlittle kids or whatever, and
probably many of you have talkedto your own children about this
.
They'll get something forsomebody.
They don't even say thankful, they don't say thank you.
They just kind of grab it andgo on about three.
Wait, where are you going?
Don't forget to say thank you.
(04:44):
Remember the story that Jesustalked about the parable, where
I believe there was 10 lepersthat were healed and only one
returned, and Jesus saidsomething very profound.
He said where are the othernine?
That lets me know.
Think about it.
If you're looking at ratios, what he was kind of saying in
that moment 90% of the peoplethat get breakthroughs, they
(05:05):
never come back to say thank you.
As a matter of fact, one of thethings you'll love about our
ministry if you do love thistype of thing is we just flow
with the Holy Ghost.
So I'm going to see where thisis.
I want to go to that scripturebecause I believe it's going to
speak some things to us today.
And Jesus said where are theother nine?
You know, think about it.
There's a season that we're inright now.
(05:25):
We need to figure out where theother nine are.
You know, we need to bethankful for what it is that God
has done.
Let's go to Luke, chapter 17.
Luke, chapter number 17.
We want to go there realquickly and we are going to
start here in verse number 11.
Now you're all ready to readLuke chapter 17?
(05:47):
While we're going there, take aminute.
It's real simple.
Just hop on Facebook, youtube, wherever you are, share that so
other people can get in on this.
Luke, chapter 17, verse number11.
Now it happened as he wentthrough Jerusalem.
He passed through the midst ofSamaria and Galilee there, and
then, as he entered a certainvillage, there met him 10 men
(06:07):
who were lepers, who stood afaroff, and they lifted up their
voices and cried out Jesus, master, have mercy on us.
So when he saw them, he said tothem go, show yourselves to the
priests.
And so it was.
As they went, they werecleansed.
You know, you ever notice thatGod always gives you an
instruction before, sometimes inthe middle or maybe even after
(06:28):
all three a combination of them.
In the middle of a miracle, there's usually always something
that God requires of people theman with the wither hand
stretch it forward.
Moses stretched out his rodover the Red Sea.
There's always a step of faiththat must be taken.
The Bible says he that comethto God must believe that he is
and that he's a rewarder of themthat diligently seek him.
And right before that, it saysthat it's impossible to please
(06:51):
God without faith.
Faith without works is dead.
There's always an action step.
So he tells them go, showyourself to the priest.
And so it was.
Look, there's a miracle in this.
And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.
Notice the obedience there, theobedience to the miracle.
There was something that theyhad to do.
(07:12):
And as they followed the word, these signs follow them that
believe, listen.
That's why it's so important tobe where the spirit of the Lord
is moving.
You need a right now word.
You need an alive word.
You don't need some word that'sbeen recycled that someone had
planned 20 months ago.
You need a word in season.
Come on somebody.
(07:33):
You need a word that God isspeaking today.
Isn't it amazing, each andevery day that God rained down
manna from heaven?
Every day, jesus said in theLord's prayer give us this day
our what, our daily bread.
That means every day, thewindows of heaven are being
opened and the manna is fallingeach and every day.
(07:55):
That's why you need a word eachand every day from the master.
Why is that so important?
It is vital.
It is crucial, it is paramountbecause this is the reality God
is in the now he's.
When Moses was getting ready togo and stand before Pharaoh, he
said who should I tell them thatsent me?
Tell them I am that speaks inthe eternal present?
(08:16):
He said right now, in themoment, god is speaking, god is
moving.
The reason why I'm saying thateven in our ministry, at another
level, you don't know whatyou're going to get.
I tell people it's kind of likea Forrest Gump anointing.
He said life is like a box ofchocolates you don't know what
you're going to get.
You know, when you show up in ahouse where God is free to move
, you don't know what's going totranspire.
And we took time just to thankand to praise God for how good
(08:39):
he is and that you want to be ina place where you're getting a
word from God consistently, where there's something fresh.
Yes, teaching is important.
I'm not downplaying that.
Yes, structure is important, not downplaying that.
But God can still flow in themiddle of a structure
unstructured, if you follow me.
There can still be order, butallowing the spirit of God to
(09:00):
move as he so desires.
God wants to speak to you today.
Today there's a word.
Every day I'm looking God, whatare you saying right now?
I call it the prophetic noun.
What is God saying in theprophetic noun?
I need a right now miracle.
I need a right now word.
Give me, father, this day, mydaily bread, and God wants to
(09:21):
make that available to you.
And that's the reason why youneed a word right now.
So then you can respond to theprophetic now and you can see a
miracle now, you can see abreakthrough now.
You can't get.
He never told them store up abunch of manna for the next
month or two and come out whenyou're ready.
He said come to me every day.
There'll be fresh baked loavesof God's goodness and his bread
(09:45):
every single day.
Now look at this here, whenthey are obedient to the
prophetic, now the word that Godwas spoken.
The Bible says they werecleansed.
Come on, somebody Now look atthis.
So when he saw them, he said tothem go, show yourself to the
priest.
And so it was.
As they went, they werecleansed Verse 15.
And one of them, when he sawthat he was healed, returned and
(10:07):
with a loud voice glorified Godfell down on his face, at his
feet, giving him thanks, and hewas a Samaritan.
You want to know why he was aSamaritan?
Now watch this, becausesometimes, listen to me, if
you're in a great ministry andin a great church, don't allow
it to become common.
Don't take it for granted, don't become familiar.
(10:31):
Why Watch this?
Familiarity we've heard itbefore breeds contempt.
Now why is that important?
We've heard it before breedscontempt.
Now why is that important?
Because contempt shows a lackof respect, a lack of reverence,
a lack of appreciation, a lackof thankfulness, a lack of, and
so what happens?
You can become like a prodigalin a place where you're called
(10:51):
to have an inheritance, becauseyou start taking for granted
what it is that you have in thehouse.
Many times we can take ourspouse for granted A lot.
Many times we can take ourspouse for granted A lot of time
.
We can take our children forgranted.
We can take our ministry forgranted.
We can take our health forgranted.
Oh, it's no big deal, oh,whatever.
You know, wait a minute, holdup a minute, be thankful.
Don't allow because you're inthe house.
(11:12):
The reason why I was a Samaritan?
Listen, because the Jews had it.
They had had it since way backin the times of Abraham.
They were given the word of God, they were given the Torah,
they were given the law, theywere given the tabernacle.
The lineage of Christ camethrough the Jewish people, and
so after a while it's kind oflike oh, whatever, no big deal.
But then there's a Samaritanthat's never had it.
(11:34):
There's a Samaritan that's sothankful, a Samaritan that's so
glad to be grafted in, and theyso appreciate what is it they
have, why they did not allowtheir miracle, they did not
allow the anointing, they didnot allow the house they're in
to become common.
I'm preaching better thanyou're shouting right now.
Come on, you cannot allow whatyou have to become common.
How do you do that?
Always be thankful for what youhave, always be willing, each
(11:57):
day, to look around and look atthe lives around you, the house
that you're in, the car thatyou're driving.
Because what can happen whenyou're not thankful?
You become lukewarm.
You become lukewarm in yourlife, you become lukewarm.
And when things become lukewarmit doesn't have that same
soothing effect.
You ever been in a lukewarm bathwater?
Who wants to be in that?
You ever drink lukewarm water.
(12:18):
I mean, who wants to be in thatyou know the reality is in
different temperatures fordifferent things.
You want it cold when you'redrinking, you know you don't
want lukewarm.
I mean sometimes you want roomtemperature if you're speaking
or things like that.
But you get the point whenyou're really thirsty you're not
looking for a lukewarm glass ofwater, you want something ice
cold.
And when you're in, when you'rehaving a hot bath, I mean you
(12:41):
want to have it warm.
In those moments I mean that'sthe whole point of the
lukewarmness, that's what thedevil wants to bring in.
How do we do that?
We can become lukewarm by notbeing thankful, not appreciating
what we have, and you canbecome a prodigal, and I believe
that we are going to see inthis season a greater rise in
prodigals.
You're going to see a lot ofpeople turning lukewarm and
(13:02):
leaving the house of inheritancebecause they want to go out and
spend in the world.
Give me my inheritance, give mewhat it is that I have.
And he went out and the Biblesays he spent it on riotous
living, not understanding.
He should have appreciated whatit was that he had in the house
.
And you know what's amazing?
Now watch this At the end ofthe prodigal son.
What happened to him?
Are you ready for this?
Now listen to this.
(13:26):
This is powerful.
What happened to the prodigalson at the end is what he should
have had when he was in thehouse.
The Bible says when he came tohimself now look at what he said
.
He said my father's servantshave bread enough to spare, and
I perish with hunger.
He started appreciating evenwhat the servants had that were
in the house, even though he wasa son.
He came to a point where hesaid I would rather be a servant
(13:48):
than even be a son.
The servants have it betterthan even I have it right now.
Are you following me?
He was a son, but he wasappreciative of even what the
servants had.
That's the mentality he shouldhave had, because he took the
house for granted.
Never take the house that Godhas you in for granted.
Don't take your spouse forgranted.
Don't take your health forgranted.
(14:09):
Don't take today for granted.
You can become lukewarm, andwhen you become lukewarm, the
Bible says God said I'll spityou out of my mouth why You're
not doing the first works, you're not back, you're not
excited, you're not passionateabout what you have, why You've
lost the spirit of thanksgivingthey said.
Only one came down and look whatit says, fell down at his face
verse 16, and giving him thanks, hallelujah.
(14:31):
He was thankful and he was aSamaritan.
So Jesus answered, said werethere not 10 cleansed?
Where are the other nine?
God is saying that right now.
Where are the other?
We put that in the chat.
Where are the other nine?
Where are the other nine?
And there are seasons pleasehear me where I believe God
requires us to give him praise.
My good friend, pastor ElvinSimpkins, out of Denver,
(14:53):
colorado, preaches a greatchurch, or pastors a great
church called Emmanuel ChristianCenter and he said to me years
ago, and I'll never forget it,he was in a season where he was
just thanking God.
He said Jay, you owe him praise.
Some of us right now we owe Goda praise for what he has done
and sometimes you need to goback and be thankful like you
were from the start.
The prodigal son became aprodigal and left the house
(15:16):
because he forgot even theservants had it good in the
house.
Man, I'm gonna thank the Lordfor what the servants had, even
if I was a servant.
They have bread enough to spareand I'm out here with perishing
, with hunger.
This is the reality, ladies andgentlemen, this is the season
that we are in and that's why Iwant you to go with me now to 2
Timothy chapter three.
Let's go over here.
2 Timothy chapter three.
I wanna show Timothy chapterthree.
(15:41):
I want to show you how beingunthankful is a sign that we are
in the last days and that weare in perilous times.
Second Timothy chapter three, verse number one.
But know this that in the lastdays hope you realize we are in
the last days perilous times, hard to deal with, will come.
Look at this Now, man.
I wish I had time to teach allthis, but I don't, for men will
be lovers of themselves.
Now, that's the first mistake.
(16:01):
Jesus said if any man will comeafter me, let him deny himself,
not love himself, deny himself, take up his cross.
People say, well, yeah, butshouldn't you love yourself?
He's not speaking of that typeof a love.
He's not talking about havingan accurate assessment, an
accurate, a good, healthyself-esteem, realizing who you
are in Christ.
Loving yourself means I preferme over everybody else.
(16:22):
It means being selfish.
I love me so much.
I love me, some me, and I wanteverything for me and I don't
care about anybody else.
Me, me, me, me, me that's whathe's speaking of.
They will be lovers ofthemselves and, as a result of
that, they're going to wantmoney.
Now why is that important inthe end times?
Because those that are loversof self, they will become lovers
of money.
Because money you ready is themeans to the end.
Money gives you access tothings self wants.
(16:47):
So that's why people say tellme where you spend your time,
tell me where you spend yourmoney and I'll show you where
your heart's at.
Because that is the reality.
Money is an empowering agent.
It makes you more of what youalready are.
It's a means to a desired endand that's why they'll become
lovers of money, boasters, proudblasphemers, disobedient to
(17:10):
parents.
And look, here's the one I wantto hit Unthankful.
One of the keys that we are inthe last times is that people
will become unthankful.
They will begin not to thankGod.
They won't be appreciative andlisten.
Some of us right now arebreakthrough and I have sensed
that this whole week that God issaying that we are in a season
(17:31):
that breakthroughs will happenfor those that are thankful, for
those that appreciate who theyhave in their life, for those
that will love those that are intheir life, for those that will
appreciate their spouse,they'll appreciate their
children, they'll appreciate themoney they do have, they'll
appreciate their health, they'llappreciate their church, even
the job that you have, the carthat you drive, everything in
your life, whatever it is.
Just walk around and say God,thank you for how good you have
(17:54):
been to me.
Thank you, jesus, for I want to, but we're in awareness season
where God is saying where's theother nine?
Do you realize that?
Where are the other nine?
They were unthankful.
And look at it 90% of peoplethat get a miracle from God are
not thankful for what the Lordhas done, only 10%.
My goodness, come to the Lordand say I'm thankful for how
(18:15):
good you have been to me.
Don't be a person in this dayand hour that's unthankful for
how good you have been to me.
Don't be a person in this dayand hour that's unthankful for
what the spirit of the Lord hasdone, for how good he's been to
you.
Take a moment today I said thiswhole week we're going to fast
negativity.
We are going to fast doubt.
We're going to fast complaining.
We're going to fast murmuring.
We're going to look around ourlives and begin to thank the
Lord for how good he has been tous.
(18:38):
Can I get an amen?
Somebody I am going to thankGod today, even today.
God, I thank you and I give youpraise.
I give you praise, god, for howgood you've been.
You know the fact that I've gottwo legs that work, even if
you're in the middle of a fightfor your health right now.
God, thank you that I've gothealth insurance.
God, thank you that you'vegiven me an ability to fight.
(18:58):
Thank you, god, that you'vegiven me another day just to
praise you and to love you.
God, thank you, lord, that I'mcompletely invincible and
completed everything that you'vecalled me to complete.
God, god, I thank you today.
Take the time today to give Godpraise for how good he has been
to you.
(19:24):
You know, I think about how, ifyou have a mother or a father,
you need to thank God for them.
My mother passed away November18th 2007.
Do you realize it'll be 18years in just a few months?
18 years since my mother passed.
I mean, my goodness, some ofyou've had your mother 18 years
longer than I had when shepassed.
I know people that have mothersright now that are in their 90s
.
My mother passed at 58.
Lord, I thank you for my mom.
God, I thank you for my dad.
God, I thank you for my aunts,my uncles, whatever it is that
(19:46):
you have, this is a season to bethankful.
Remember I talked about ityesterday Thanksgiving breeds
multiplication in your life andno matter how little it is, it's
enough when you have a thankfulspirit.
And it is so vitally importantthat we are thankful in this day
and in this hour.
We've got to thank God and givehim praise.
So today I want you to gothrough that.
(20:08):
Today, I want you to take sometime and give God some praise
for how wonderful he's been.
What could you do today to bethankful?
You know, even in your church, how are you thankful for it?
Are you thankful for yourchurch family?
Are you thankful for theopportunity to be able to serve
in ministry?
Are you thankful that God hasblessed you today?
Are you thankful for the peoplein your life?
(20:29):
Are you thankful for the moneythat you have?
Are you thankful for the jobyou have?
Are you thankful for God savingyou?
There's always something to bethankful for, and remember this
thanksgiving breedsmultiplication and increase in
and through your life the morethat you are thankful, the more
that God will multiply you inand through your life.
(20:49):
Are you thankful for dimensionstoday?
Come on, if you're thankful fordimensions, put that in the
chat.
I'm thankful for the, becauseyou know what I'm thankful for
you.
I'm thankful for what God hasplaced inside of you.
I'm thankful for what God hasplaced inside of you.
I'm thankful for theopportunity to be able to be on
this platform and to share withyou what thus saith the Lord.
I'm thankful today.
Are you thankful for his word?
Are you thankful for that?
You're dwelling in the secretplace.
Are you thankful for theblessing?
(21:09):
And I know what people say.
They'll murmur and complainbecause we want the breakthrough
, we want the miracle, we wantthings to happen, and then we'll
be thankful.
Then we'll appreciate what Godhas done.
Then, oh God, you're so no, no,no.
Be thankful for what you have.
Be thankful today, right whereyou are.
God, I give you praise God.
(21:30):
I thank you today for what Ihave and what is in my life.
Can you take a minute, evenright now?
Today, I call it a littlepraise break.
We begin to thank God andpraise God for how good he has
been to us.
He has been so wonderful.
Let me give you a couple otherscriptures today about how
important it is to give Godthanks.
(21:51):
Go with me to 1 Thessalonians, chapter number five.
I'm almost finished here, but Iwant to give you a couple of
more.
First, thessalonians, chapterfive, verse number 18.
In everything, give thanks, forthis is the will of God
concerning you.
My goodness, that is sopowerful.
Look at Psalm 107, verse numberone.
(22:11):
Psalm 107, verse number one oh,give thanks to the Lord, for he
is good, for his mercy enduresforever.
I love this here.
Let the redeemed of the Lordsay so, whom he has redeemed
from the hand of the enemy.
If you are redeemed, you needto give God praise because he
has been good.
He didn't have to save you, buthe did.
(22:32):
Go to Colossians, chapter three, verse number 17.
Colossians, chapter three thisis all I mean.
The scripture's full of placeswhere we need to be thankful,
but I wanna just give you acouple that you could take a
peek at this.
And look at this here.
And whatever you do in word ordeed, do it all in the name of
the Lord Jesus, giving thanks toGod, to the Father, or giving
(22:56):
thanks to God, the Father, through him.
Look at this again Whatever youdo, in word or in deed, do all
in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God, the Father
, through him.
My goodness, when you'reserving, even in the ministry,
when you're working on your job, when you are doing whatever
you're doing, are you doing itwith a thankful spirit?
(23:16):
You know that is just asimportant as anything else.
Let's take a look at anotherpassage of scripture in 1
Corinthians, chapter number nine.
1 Corinthians, chapter numbernine.
I'm sorry.
2 Corinthians, chapter nine.
I want to show you somethinghere.
This is very, very importantthat we catch this.
2 Corinthians 9, and I'm goingto look at this through the
(23:39):
Amplify because I want you tosee this and I believe this will
really speak to you.
This is important and all thatyou do, do it with thanksgiving
in your heart, as unto the Lord.
Look at verse number 6,.
2 Corinthians 9, verse number 6.
Now remember this he who sowssparingly will reap sparingly,
(24:03):
and he who sows generously thatblessing may come to others this
is in the Amplified will alsoreap generously and be blessed.
2 Corinthians 9, 7.
Let each one give thoughtfullyand with purpose, just as he has
decided in his heart, notgrudgingly or under compulsion,
for God loves a cheerful giverand delights in the one whose
(24:25):
heart is in his gift.
When you sow, when you give, when you're a blessing to
somebody else, god looks, watchthis.
He blesses you not just uponthe amount that you give, but
upon the heart in which thatamount is given through.
That heart is just as importantas the action In all that you
(24:47):
do.
Colossians, chapter three, remember we were just reading it
.
And all that you do in word ordeed, do it as unto the Lord.
What being thankful.
The next time you serve, nexttime you're working, go in with
thanksgiving Thank God for whatyou have.
You know, every time in my life, whenever God has increased me,
he's always allowed me to bethankful and required me to be
thankful where I'm at.
If he takes me to the nextlevel, he'll remind me he's the
(25:11):
one that gave this to me.
To where I'm at, that he hasbeen a blessing.
Before we came into our building, I don't forget before we moved
, I took time and I began towalk through a building that
wasn't a great building, thefirst building I had.
The building was a mess.
Everything in it was a mess.
There was no parking.
But I began to thank the Lordfor how good he was for us there
.
I said this has been awonderful ride, god.
(25:35):
Thank him for all the lessons Ilearned and the miracles that
transpired and the ways he metus and how good he was and how
he just met each and every oneof our needs, and the miracles
that transpired and the wordsthat were released and the times
in his presence that were thereand the things that broke
through.
There was just such a powerfultime it was during the pandemic
that I was there and there wereso many things.
(26:01):
I said man, lord, you've been sowonderful to me and sometimes,
even in the most meagercircumstances, there's things
that God can do.
God can make it heaven for you, right where you're at, and
that's why sometimes you need tobe thankful.
All the times you need to bethankful and give God praise for
how good he has been.
Ladies and gentlemen, this ishow we avoid becoming lukewarm.
And the last scripture I wantto take you to go to Matthew 24.
It's been in my spirit a lot.
This is all about the end timeshere.
(26:23):
Matthew 24, verse one don'tallow your heart to become
lukewarm because you'reunthankful.
That's what we're talking abouttoday.
Being thankful causes you toavoid becoming lukewarm in your
heart.
And then it says here in versenumber two and Jesus said do you
not see all these things?
Assuredly, I say to you, notone stone shall be left here
upon another that should not bethrown down.
Now, as he sat at the Mount ofOlives, the disciples came to
(26:43):
him privately saying tell uswhen these things will be.
Remember I always talk aboutthis in the end times, the three
major questions Tell us whenthese things will be, the sign
of your coming and of the end ofthe age.
Jesus answered, said to themtake heed that no one deceives
you.
That's another thing I talkabout.
Being thankful allows you notto be deceived because it keeps
your spirit full, for many willcome in my name, saying I am
Christ, will deceive many, andyou will hear of wars and rumors
(27:04):
of wars.
See that you are not troubled, for all these things must come
to pass, so that means they'recoming.
You know more and more.
There's no telling when anotherspeaking of that, no telling
when another pandemic could hit.
No telling when another viruscould break out.
There's no telling when anothersituation could happen.
(27:25):
That's why I got to keep oil inmy lamp today.
Ladies and gentlemen, you wantto keep oil in your lamp, you
want to keep love in your heartand you want to keep sin and
leaven out of your life becauseyou don't know what's coming,
when it's going to hit.
But you want to be ready whenJesus shows up and when the
situations come that maybearen't so, that are adverse to
us.
You want to make sure thatyou're in the secret place
before that, but you want to berunning from the secret place.
(27:45):
You want to be in there ifanything should arise, because
there are, I'm sure.
There are new viruses, newproblems, new situations that
are going to happen, because theBible says these things are
going to take place.
Look at verse 8.
And all these things are thebeginning of sorrows and they
will deliver you up totribulation and kill you, and
you shall be hated by allnations for my namesake.
(28:06):
Why do you think what'shappening to the Jewish people
right now?
Not that it's the church, it'sthe Jewish people.
Look at the rise inanti-Semitism.
Look at the rise of that I meanit's crazy of what's
transpiring.
And look at verse 10.
And then many will be offended.
Wow, we are in that day andhour today, and we'll betray one
another, we'll hate one another.
Then many false prophets willrise up and deceive many, and
(28:27):
because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold
.
Wow, because sin will begin torise like never before.
The love of many will grow cold.
False prophets will arise andwatch this.
Whenever there's a rise infalse prophets, deception come
when deception hits.
Sin rises when sin arises.
Love for the father and lovefor brothers and sisters begins
(28:51):
to dwindle down, just begins todwindle down.
Ladies and gentlemen, it'sprudent of us to make sure we
keep love in our hearts, oil inour lamp, sin and leaven out of
our lives.
How do we avoid becominglukewarm?
One of the ways is be thankful.
God, I thank you today for howgood you have been to us.
Thank you, god, for beingwonderful and just meeting with
me and just loving me, andappreciate what you have.
(29:14):
Enjoy where you are.
Enjoy the journey, not just thedestination, because once you
get to the destination, you'vegot to jump to something else,
jump from one place to the next, and so I want to encourage you
today, even as I pray, that Godwill keep your heart full of
being thankful.
