I was so excited for this conversation, because today’s guest is also one of my favorite episodes on the new TV season of FarmHER + RanchHER. She’s also one of my favorites to follows on social media, sharing her day-to-day life a way that makes you feel like you’re right there in the cab with her.
Alex Templeton is a third-generation farmer and rancher from northwest Missouri who runs cattle and crops with her family across multiple counties. She’s been working cows alongside her dad since she was a kid, and now she calls him her business partner.
Alex and I talk about what it’s like working with family, raising her daughters in the same dirt she grew up in and competing in the Red Bull Rancher Strong event – as well as our guilty pleasures, weirdest habits, what it’s like to film with our TV crew and her love of 2 Chainz.
I loved getting to know Alex while filming for the TV show and even more so while recording this podcast. She isn’t afraid to be completely transparent and she never fails to make me laugh!
