Jesus commanded in Matthew 6:6 "But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly." In 2024, distractions come at us at warp speed. Constant notifications from our phones, watches, and computers make focusing on Christ in prayer difficult. Even in Abram's day, distractions were everywhere. So God asked Abram to step outside so they could talk. Follow Abram's example and Christ's command, and get alone with God.
