The truly unbelievable tale of the many lives of Michael Malloy, also known as Mike the Durable. In the era of prohibition and the Great Depression, a plot to murder a man for life insurance was hatched within the grimy walls of a run-down speakeasy. Behind the plan was a group that would come to be known as the Murder Trust. Their target was Michael Malloy; a rarely-paying customer that filled a seat in the speakeasy day in and day out, finding the bottom of bottle after bottle. They figured he would drink himself to death soon anyways, why not speed the process along? But killing Michael Malloy proved to be almost impossible, and would end up costing far more time, resources, and lives than anticipated.
