IL PRIMO SCANDALO DELL'IA AL CINEMA?
Diretto dagli australiani Colin e Cameron Cairnes, "Late Night with the Devil" ci trasporta all'interno di una trasmissione televisiva del 1977, destinata a diventare uno degli eventi più scioccanti dell'epoca. Il conduttore, Jack Delroy - interpretato da un sublime David Dastmalchian - tenta di rivitalizzare il suo talk show "Night Owls", ormai in declino, attraverso un audace speciale di Halloween. Tra ospiti bizzarri e fenomeni paranormali, ciò che inizia come una trovata pubblicitaria evolve in un incubo terrificante.
Le recensione sono molte buone, con punteggio molto alti su IMDB e su RottenTomatoes.
Anche Stephen King ha esaltato "Late Night with the Devil", descrivendolo come "geniale" e ammettendo di non essere riuscito a distogliere lo sguardo. Questo endorsement non fa che confermare la riuscita del film nel creare qualcosa di unico, capace di tenere il pubblico incollato allo schermo.
Ascolta tutto, perché oltre a fare sensazione, il film fa anche scandalo... per il suo uso dell'IA generativa.

Le notazioni su IMDB sono dure elì comunque è una notazione

E quindi ho iniziato a cercareun po' di più le opinioni e lì
ho visto vari siti che parlavanodi questo.
Quindi Stephen King, il masterof horror, l'ha visto e proprio

io vi dicevo, non amospecificamente i film di orore,
ma questo film si distaccatotalmente dei film di genere e
cerca proprio di sfidare leconvenzioni.
Ogni tanto vi dirò sembra moltopiù un serie B, un vieco pulp

che un film d'orrore.
E lì la forza, sono proprio ilregista che sono riuscito a
mantenere in attenzione.
C'è un mix tra una comicitànera e un momento di pseudo
terrore, gestiti confavolesamente gestiti.
Ogni tanto mi faceva moltoridere, molto ridere.

Io confermo su questa cosa nonè un film che è molto lungo, ma

Mi ha fatto molto pensare aquesto film, anche ispirato da
un libro di Stephen King,ispirato, o non anche ispirato
da un film di Stephen King TheMist.
La fine non è forte come TheMist, ma c'è qualcosa e il film
dice comunque qualcosa.
Questo mix tra orrore e satira,infatti, il film lo mette come

un ambivalismo tra il misticismoe le paure del diavolo, da una
parte, e una critica dellasocietà del spettacolo, d'altra
parte.
Davvero, quindi, è un filmintelligente, piccolo budget,
con difetti, e anche forse èquesto che fa il suo charme, si
posso dire.
Personalmente adoro anche tuttele opere che parlano dei media,

che sia Succession, theNewsroom vi consiglio questa
serie The Newsroom, genialissima, ecco, davvero una bella
sorpresa.
E se sei appassionato di horrore che ti piacciono le cose un
po' diverse, o se ti piacelanciarti su delle cose un po'

che escono delle tradizioni, cheescono delle strade
tradizionali, ecco, soft horror,intelligenze, autoironia e, beh
, una bella critica, una bellaimmagine della cultura pop.
Late Night with the Devil, velo consiglio vivamente e vi
aggiungo una critica un po' piùsostanziale di parte mia sulla

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary.
