In this episode, we embrace the arrival of spring, despite the lingering cold and snow. I share a personal reflection on the "spin cycle" of repetitive thoughts that can disrupt our peace of mind. Drawing from a conversation with a dear friend, I explore how unresolved emotions can manifest as these recurring thoughts, much like shoes clunking in a dryer. I discuss the importance of acknowledging these feelings and consciously shifting from a "spin cycle" to a "love cycle" by focusing on positive outcomes and acceptance.

Additionally, I introduce a free "love experiment" featuring seven powerful songs that have helped me elevate my mood and pursue my dreams. I also share my recent involvement with an orphanage in El Salvador, supporting girls who have survived human trafficking and abuse. This initiative aims to empower these young survivors with life skills and financial literacy, including the use of Bitcoin, to help them build a secure future. Join me in celebrating spring by planting something new and embracing the season of growth and renewal.

Unknown (00:03):
Happy spring
to you.
Happy spring to you.
Happy, happy, happy, happy spring. No more cold shit for you. Well, actually, it's still cold. There's snow on the ground here where I live. However,
there are flowers coming up somewhere,
those little crocuses,
and there's little green sprouts of grass everywhere.

(00:24):
I wanted to do a little quickie, a livestream for y'all,
and talk about something that's been on my mind in the last twenty four hours.
My,
a sweet soul sister of mine and I, we were talking about, it was about two weeks ago. We were talking about how sometimes you get,

(00:44):
in this thing called this I call it the spin cycle. Right? Like, have you ever listened to shoes in the dryer and they're just like clunking and clunking and clunking? And you're like, oh my god. What is that noise? You know?
And so what I think is super interesting is
that's what happens up here in our mind. And so if you're somebody like me who occasionally struggles with shoes in the dryer and having, like, a a repetitive thought,

(01:11):
it can,
you know, really mess up your day.
And
sometimes we go to old repetitive thoughts because,
we're seeking some sort of resolution. You know? And, like, that's the really
the key ingredient here is, like, the reason why we have these,
recurring thoughts that, you know,

(01:33):
bother us
is because it they're not resolved in our situation, in our energy field, in our bodies and anything. And so what
I have been doing lately
when I start to feel these recurring thoughts,
that, you know, there's
imagine, like, somebody died. Right? And you didn't get to say goodbye to them. You didn't get to really have closure.

(01:57):
And there's still this, like,
unfelt,
unexpressed
experience that's going on from within you that you wanna get out.
And
it's really, really important that we start to honor the things that wanna come out of us.
So when we're feeling something like those shoes in the dryer,

(02:18):
it's like, okay. What is that?
Okay. We don't wanna just bypass it and just be like, oh, I'm gonna cancel it and go swipe left and forget about it. It's like, okay. What is it? Like, it's a thing. It's an unresolved
emotion, energetic
experience.
It's an unresolved,
you know, agreement, whatever.
And so

(02:39):
what I've been doing lately when I get my shoes in the dryer
and
it they occasionally, like, they don't even bother me. Right? And then sometimes, I'm like, fuck. What are these things? They're just, like, clunking around.
I was like, well, you can either be in a spin cycle
where they're clunking around, or you can be in a

(03:01):
love cycle.
Which would you prefer? I prefer, personally, to be in a love cycle. So
even though the spin cycle shows up and the shoes and the dryer start happening,
I have to consciously
move my attention
away from the clunking
and go, what would I prefer this situation to be and feel like? And what would the outcome be if I were to, you know, have my magic wand, which

(03:33):
I do have a magic wand, and it's quite amazing. It's got crystals on it. It's so pretty.
Stani Crystals made this in Maui, and I got this from her. Unfortunately, she ended up dying of cancer.
And I was like, is it because of the materials you use, or how the heck did you get cancer? Because she was such a holistic human. So you just never know. But, anyway, beautiful magic wand. If you had a magic wand and you could, like,

(03:57):
not have a recurring
thought that just keeps clunking around, what would it be? What would it look like? So for me,
I have a couple things that are going on in my life that are
out of my control. I can't do anything about it. There's certain people who are acting certain ways, and they've gotta go through their own spiritual curriculum and karma.

(04:18):
And no matter what I do,
they've gotta go do their own thing. So
what can I do to feel
more happy instead of letting these thoughts spin? One thing and and I was just doing I literally recorded almost 20 videos yesterday. That was a big day.
One of the things that, you know, my soul sister told me when we were talking about shoes in the dryer, she said, when you have these ruminating thoughts that just keep coming back and coming back and coming back,

(04:49):
guess where part of your brain gets triggered?
The same part of your brain that gets triggered if you do cocaine.
And I was like,
And I'm like, I don't I don't feel good
when these ruminating thoughts are happening. She's like, it's not about feeling good. It's about the sensation of that
something's there. You know? And I'm like, ugh. Like, I don't I don't wanna

(05:13):
contribute to that cycle. So, anyway,
what I thought was interesting, I was like, okay. Cool. Because a lot of times when I have these thoughts,
you know, I wanna just kinda swipe left and forget about it. But then you have to replace it with something.
And what are you gonna replace it with?
Right? Are you gonna replace it with a vision of the future that you're looking at? Are you gonna replace it with simply, like,

(05:37):
love them anyway. Love them anyway. Love them anyway. Love them anyway. Mel Robbins has got this great book out,
recently called Let Them. You know? So it's like, let them. Let them. Let them. Let them. Like, what is it that is gonna give you
a sense
of it's okay. Like, that's their stuff. No matter who it is and how important and special they are to you, like, it's a very, very difficult process to

(06:05):
land in a place of,
surrender
and in a place of acceptance and in a place of not trying to grip on everything. And for those of us who've got
trauma,
AKA all of us,
we wanna have some sense of control because it gives us, you know,
it gives us this feeling of,

(06:27):
okay. I can relax.
Okay. The doors are locked. Nobody's gonna mess with me. I got some food in the shelf. You know? Whatever. I'm cool. And so that sense of control and safety, of course, translates into your nervous system feeling. Okay? When you don't have that sense of control and safety, you feel, like, anxious. So when you're seeing other people in your life behave a certain way

(06:47):
that you literally
can't do anything about,
how do you handle yourself?
How do you get in a place of
center, grounded
connection
to god, connection to the earth, connection to your soul, connection to your higher self.
So this is kind of a little game that I'm starting to play,

(07:08):
and it's helping me. You know? And it's helping me get out of the spin cycle and go into the love cycle. So just wanted to share that with you guys, and,
I created something for you.
It's a free little love experiment.
I created,
well, there's gonna be eight videos because I'll have a bonus for you, but seven videos

(07:29):
of these really powerful songs that have helped me get through life and have helped me
when I need to raise my vibe so I can rock my dreams. Like, I play these songs. I sing them. I chant them. I do all the things that you're supposed to do, and it really gives me
a lot of sense of purpose and power. And so I made it for you. So sign up, and you can get the seven days of love. It's free.

(07:55):
And,
let me know what you think.
I'm about to get on a couple calls. I'm starting to work with an orphanage. I'm so excited. The House of Life and Mi Casa Kids in El Salvador.
And they help girls.
House of Life is, you know, a a segment of the whole organization.
House of Life works specifically with girls who have been,

(08:18):
impregnated by their abusers who have either trafficked, abused, or abandoned them.
Who else is the most vulnerable population in the world? These girls.
So
I got a message from god almost two weeks ago, it'll be two weeks tomorrow on Friday,
that I was asking,
as I was driving down to get some groceries,

(08:40):
I said, god, is am I using my gifts? Am I doing enough? Is is this the right path? You know? Like, am I
did you want me to do something different or more or just other things? And loud and clear, I got this, like, help with human trafficking. And
I'm like, oh, boy. And within twelve hours, literally twelve hours,

(09:00):
I was talking with my friend down there, and she's like, oh, I work with an orphanage, and they help girls who are human trafficked and da da da da. So, of course, the dominoes have been falling
for the last two weeks
about
how can we support these most vulnerable and innocent
survivors. We'll never call them victims.
Survivors
of this abuse. So that's what I've been working on.

(09:21):
You know, sign up for the the newsletter. You guys can here, you can go to subscribe, DJ Val. Subscribe.
And then just I'll keep you guys up to date on what we're doing. We're gonna be doing
in person,
volunteer vacations. Of course, we're gonna be doing live streams and boost a gram stuff and all these things so that we can help these girls. But we really want not just to I mean, our job isn't rescuing them from these positions. That's someone else. But it's like, how do they get to a safe, secure place? And then number three, whereas I think us Bitcoiners come in,

(09:51):
how can we use our time, treasure, and talent
to get in and teach them about life skills, business skills, how to save in Bitcoin, how to use Bitcoin, and how to be the most
empowered versions of themselves so they don't have to go back out into,
a sex trade. So working on that. But, anyways, I just wanted to do this little

(10:12):
video for you guys. I hope it's supportive, and that's it. So happy spring. Yay. There's a flower in her hair. Yay. So go out and get a plant.
Today, what I encourage you to do on the first day of spring, I made this little
AI thing that's in our background here. Go buy a plant and plant it somewhere or stick it in a pot, but, like, embrace the beauty of the blossoming of spring. Even if it's snowing or gray or or rainy where you are, don't worry. Spring is coming. So God bless you all. I hope you have a great day, and thanks for tuning in.

(10:48):
Aloha.
