D.K. (00:00):
Thank you.
(00:37):
How's everyone doing?
You know I came on here a quicksecond.
You know, when I say I havethings on my mind, I always have
things on my mind and I'd liketo come share it with you all.
It's your boy, damon.
I'm here with the dk, and treepodcast also got a special guest
on the line.
Miss mocha is on the line withme because we wanted to share a
couple things with you all.
(00:58):
It's about storms, becausestorms do not last forever.
I you know and I'm gonna turnthis over to Miss Mocha just for
a second so she can just puther little input on this because
we was having a briefconversation about this and what
we just spoke about, everythingthat is going on, it shall pass
.
We're very resilient, we'revery captivative, we overcome
(01:22):
things and we overcome thingstogether and that's how we have
to do things together.
But I'll let you touch on that, miss mocha.
MS. Mocha (01:29):
Go for it yes, hi,
thanks for inviting me on
today's show.
I am so elated and glad to behere with you.
Um, dd, what I was saying is agroup of people we have been
through so many, so manyobstacles in life and so many
things that we have overcame andover, still overcoming, and
(01:52):
that's just part of who we are.
As a group of people, we'vealways been uplifted,
encouraging one another throughour different obstacles, events
and different things that seemlike they're out of the normal
way of life.
But we as a group of peoplehave to be supportive of one
another, have to stayencouraging one another.
(02:14):
And what we were saying aboutstorms storms don't last.
Always, after every nationaldisaster, what comes out?
The sun.
So we have to look at life, obstacles and different things
like that as the same way.
We're going to weather thisstorm together.
We're going to get through this.
After that is over, we will seethe sun.
The sun will shine again.
(02:35):
So just be encouraged, beuplifted, be steadfast and know
that we will weather this stormtogether as a group of people.
Whatever's going on in yourlife, know that the sun is going
to shine again and this, thisstorm will, will pass.
Absolutely.
Just knowing that.
D.K. (02:53):
I stay encouraged and
uplifted, just knowing that
absolutely, and you know it'sjust like with the whole federal
government thing.
You know, people losing theirjobs, everyone's nervous,
someone's trying to forcesomeone out and whatever.
Now I and my whole thing is isthat there are rules and
regulations in place foreverything.
You know, anyone that has losttheir jobs, just listening to
(03:15):
our voice, my heart and myprayers go out to you.
But again, just like we talkedabout with these storms, it
don't last forever and you arevery resilient.
You will figure out a way.
These are things that theycan't take away from you.
They may take that job awayfrom you, guess what?
They can't take that knowledgeaway from you.
They can't take your educationaway from you.
(03:36):
They can't take anything you'vedone and you can apply it
someplace else.
Like, okay, this may be ablessing in disguise.
Okay, you let me go from here, but I can prosper someone
someplace else.
Also, you can help bringsomeone else up and give them
(03:58):
that knowledge.
To keep passing that knowledgeon and on and on.
Let you know that, hey, thisstorm will not last forever.
You may not see it right now,but you'll see it when it gets
there and you'll think back like, oh, my goodness, I made it
through this?
I can't believe it.
So everybody that's listening tome out there in the podcast
world, I appreciate each andevery last one of you.
I do because, hopefully, I'mgiving you some type of calm,
(04:22):
I'm giving you some type ofenjoyment, no matter what you're
going through in your lifetime.
So I appreciate each and everylast one of enjoyment, no matter
what you're going through inyour lifetime.
So I appreciate each and everylast one of you because, guess
what?
There was a storm even doingthis, because either you can do
it or you can't do it.
See, I don't mind, because thesimple fact that I want to bring
joy to someone's face, admit ofeverything they want through.
(04:43):
I want them to say hey, youknow something?
This made my day just hearingthis.
And, like I said, me and MsMocha, we just we talk about a
variety of things, a variety ofthings, but here's the thing
that we talk about the most, again, it's that sunshine.
It always comes through.
It always comes through and itcomes at the time that you need
(05:04):
it.
So we don't want you to be down, we don't want you to be
depressed.
We want you to be resilient, like you always have been.
We've always been resilientover how many decades or how
many centuries?
We have always been resilientto any and everything.
Look at COVID.
We were resilient with that.
Okay, some of them peopledidn't make it through, but
(05:27):
guess what?
We made it through that time.
This is no different.
We're going to make it throughthis together.
Go ahead, ms Moga.
I know you got some more wordsfor them.
MS. Mocha (05:37):
Oh, thank you so
much.
I just wanted to say thatbetter days are coming, better
days are over the horizon and wejust have to stay the course
and know that better days areahead of us.
It may look dark right now, buttrust and believe better days
are coming our way for all of us.
So that's what I have to say.
(05:58):
That's it, yeah.
Thank you so much.
D.K. (06:02):
DD.
Yeah, it's no problem.
Like I said, I just wanted tocome on here for a quick minute
for us just to talk to you, togive you some uplifting, some
encouragement.
Hey, we care, we do.
You know, it don't seem likesome things that's going on out
here in the world that peopledon't care, but we actually do
care.
I do care Because the simplefact that, hey, if y'all going
(06:24):
through something, we goingthrough something too, it
affects everybody, it's notaffecting just one person, it's
affecting everyone.
And guess what?
This is our place where we cancome out of frustrations, bent
and whatever.
So what I also did was that Iwant to hear from you all.
I really do.
(06:44):
I really want to hear from eachand every ass one of you,
because I want to know howyou're feeling.
I want to hear from you all.
I really do.
I really want to hear from eachand every ass one of you,
because I want to know howyou're feeling.
I want to know what you'regoing through.
I'll read it on the air, justfor you.
I want your message to be heard.
So what I did was I made anemail for you to email me.
Email me your comments, emailme your feedback.
Email me anything.
If you want me to talk aboutsomething, email it to me and
(07:07):

me know.
We're gonna get your messageout there because, again, you
know, with everything beingtainted, spent their way, this
is the only way we need to getour message out.
We need to get it out togetheragain.
These storms don't last forever, but guess what we do, we
always last forever.
(07:48):
Last thing I'm going to do I'mgoing to have Ms Mocha send us
out on a prayer.

and every one.

are in need, who are in need ofa healing, in need of a
breakthrough, in need of justletting them know that they care
, their life is worth living, lord.
(08:21):

way, in a way that we know thatonly you can.
We encourage everyone ontonight to touch someone and
call them, let them know thatthey were in your thoughts, your
prayers, and offer up hope tothose who feel like there's
nothing else that they can do orlive for.
But let them know that betterdays are coming and we stretch
(08:43):
our hand out to each and everyheart that are listening to us
on tonight and know that theycan, too, surpass whatever
obstacles that are coming theirway.
And we just ask Jesus' name.
In Jesus' name, we pray that,if so, it is done and we will
rest in the bosom of Christ.
Amen and amen.
D.K. (09:03):
