Good evening and welcome everybody to another exciting

(01:10):
adventure at DND 721 in North Ektrail.
I am joined by 5 wonderful players who are just having the
greatest time in this swampy land of the dead.
My swampy little adventures. Sing hello and introduce
yourselves. Hi.

(01:31):
Hi. Hi.
We're here playing Arloeen. This is my introduction.
I'm doing this and nobody's talking over me.
Oh hey everybody, Yama is here. I play Pebble, a rock gnome
barbarian. Let's go.
Hello everyone, this is Tolton playing Braggrenier, your

(01:54):
favorite Azamar Bard. Ready to split some balloon?
Hello, this is Arcturus playing Nochemist and I am ready to heal
maybe. Or maybe I'm ready to kill.
Guess you're going to have to find out.
Everybody go. Is it me?
Uh huh. Except you.

(02:14):
Uh huh. Oh hey, Wawa Skittles plays Thea
Kitsune paddled in Warlock or tailed one's black.
Yeah, let's see what happens. It's one of one of the most
succinct hellos I've heard in a while and we have been at the
skies for over a year now. Can you be like that?

(02:36):
I know. That's oh God it feels like 3.
It's what? Does.
Sometimes it does. Well, you, my little bits of
flotsam have washed up on the shores of North Nekrom, having
left Silvermane, and over the course of a couple episodes you

(02:57):
have traveled through the swampsand the marshes and the mire.
You met a delightful old lady who shared her candies with you,
and you all made your way to a public non denominational temple
where you all got to spend an entire session dealing with a

(03:19):
doppelganger through a series ofmistrust and misdirection and
all kinds of violence towards each other.
But in the end, you did successfully navigate through
the temple that the doppelgangerhad taken up residence in.

(03:40):
And by sheer dumb goof or luck or jokes, terms, serious,
whatever you want to call it, a group of you realized in the
final moments before the doppelganger was going to let
all of you leave with nothing but your lives.

(04:01):
Brag or Near cast a spell revealing the true doppelganger
of the group, which was none of the five of you, but it was
actually Pebble's finger in her pocket.
And in that final moment, the doppelganger was revealed.
And floating in front of Pebble was the full twisted form of the

(04:25):
doppelganger creature, with one of her long fingers stuck into
the front pocket of Pebble's tunic or two top.
Yeah, how? Look, if that works and the
doppelganger was so tickled thatyou figured it out, they told
you to leave by a different route and to pick up some

(04:47):
treasure as you're exiting theirdungeon.
No final boss, no monsters, no creatures.
The real villain was with you all all along.
You grabbed a number of things. And just for our sinners, we're
going to I'm just going to read off some of the items here that

(05:09):
the group locked out with they. We can actually say who's
holding those. Yeah, go for it.
If you guys want to go through the list and say who's got what,
yeah, go ahead, start from the towel.
Well. I'll start I I am holding on to
the dimensional shackles for should anybody in the group need
them. Who got the next item?

(05:30):
No comas, what did you get? Oh yes, I had a shiny blooming
blade. It's got flowers and shit on it.
Hell yeah. Brag.
What did you pick up? Got a dagger of denial which
allows you to lock doors and I also got some ancient dotted

(05:54):
leather armor of the lamp which changes shape as a bonus action.
Nice. I got the Cape of Mont Bonk
which smells faintly of brimstone and is a bright red
Cape cloak that is very fitting of the royalty that NAR Louie is

(06:17):
and the affinity for fire. It has a fun action that will be
revealed to y'all later when I use it.
Is it the Cape of Bon to Bonk oris it the Cape of?
Montabank, Montabank, Montabank.I just want you to know that I
looked up how to pronounce this.OK.

(06:40):
And it's like it's a mountabank and I did not like it.
So. I added A twist to it.
It did not have good mouth feel.I want it to be more like Mont
Blanc. Like, like the pants, like the
company, like Mont Blanc. And I thought it could.
Be any funnier, whatever. You want, you know, it is my

(07:02):
cloak and it will be the mum punk.
Yeah, I was going to say you, you you can name your Cape
Shirley for all I care. It's it's your Cape.
Don't call me Shirley. Well, with that.
I believe that's all of the items.
Some dimensional shackles, the Cape of the Mum Punk, the

(07:25):
Blooming Blade, the ancient studded leather of Glamour and
the Dagger of Denial. There was also an extra potion
of greater healing, along with avery appropriate little sum of
gold for all of the old and I always.
Split that up. Which was in some ways split up

(07:46):
between the five and humor is this.
With that, the door similar to the rest of the temple the the
stones behind you twist and rotate, closing shut behind you,
and a task opens up in front of you as the dungeon literally
opens itself up into a 45° stairway that leads the five of

(08:08):
you up out of this dungeon, out from underground.
And in very short order, you find yourselves back on the
surface of North Nekrahal Mara Louine.
You do see your Phoenix Steel defender comes waddling over to

(08:29):
you as soon as the five of you exit the temple.
And still, outside is not all ofthem.
It looks like most left, but there are still a few villagers
who have it looks like stuck around the entrance.
Hey guys. Let's see if they're OK.

(08:49):
His way over to the steel defender and almost like pets it
like checks on it sees it took any damage or anything check.
For soft nuts. The Steel Defender does not look
harmed for in any way. And then does a quick arcana
check to see if it's a replaced by anything.

(09:13):
Give me an Arcana check. I don't.
Know. It's an 11.
You're pretty familiar with yoursteel defender.
That said, you're like 80% sure it's your steel defender.
Little. Buddy.
It flaps its wings. Happen to you?

(09:33):
Everybody, apparently I was the the doppelganger or a part of me
was a doppelganger. I punched all of you guys in the
balls and I'm sorry. I've got more health potions if
anybody needs them, but I feel bad you guys are not accepted.

(09:54):
It was your damn finger the whole time.
Yeah, no, we just kind of looks down.
It is is embarrassed. I knew the whole time I was just
letting you all Stew, insist youknew.
You knew it was my finger and you didn't tell me.
Deception check. That's an 18.

(10:15):
Of course I knew it was your finger.
What else could it have? Been like.
You could probably roll a counter if you really don't
believe me. Yeah, anybody listening to Brag
right here, you can do an insidecheck against him lying,
claiming that he knew it was thefinger all along.

(10:35):
Brag. Not sure what you're calling for
here, because if they believe you.
Yeah. Creating your own problems here.
I don't even question it. I think it.
I think it's hilarious. I don't know whether he knew it
or not. All I know is that it was
brilliant that he finally figured it out at the end, or
lucky and it doesn't matter. You could have told me.

(10:59):
I didn't trust you. You punched me.
Well, I told you guys why I was punching everybody.
Yeah, but once you hit me, I I decided, you know, let's just go
with. It the Krovin sucks.
As you, as you guys were discussing the doppelganger, the
finger, whether Bragg or Near knew the whole time or not, the

(11:22):
few villagers and farmers approach your group.
Several of them have their hats in their hands and one steps
forward and says, hi there. Did you guys, you know, kill,
kill the monster down down therein the temple?
Yeah, he killed it. She holds up to the She holds up

(11:47):
her nose picker and says the damn thing hid in my finger.
Oh well, it had us locked in there for days.
We we thought that we were all going to be eaten 1 by 1 by that
creature. Do you know who was eating you?
Where is where is the surviving gems.

(12:08):
Jim Senior. Ready the gym.
Jim Junior. Jimmy, John.
Oh, yeah, the, the gyms all all went home to their mom and
grandma. They, they they all, they all
left for, well, what's her name? The old lady of the village next
door to ours, Annie Burke. Yeah, yeah, Burke.
That's her name. So they all went home.

(12:32):
Is there anything you guys need?Well, no, we just needed to know
for sure that, you know, the, that the temple was going to be
safe again and that, you know, we could continue to go into it.
And, you know, we, we've decidedthat we're not atheists.
We, we've decided that we're going to go back to, you know,
worshipping, you know, all Motherland, Demira and Thaleros

(12:53):
and all, all of the normal gods and goddesses.
Can I? Can I interest you in a an
upcoming deity, An upcoming God that I know of that actually
might bring a little bit of lifeto this dark, shitty necrovent?

(13:14):
So we're supposed to cast, but Iwouldn't necessarily call it
always shitty. I've The entire time that I've
been here, it's been pretty rough.
Well, it. Can't.
Be a little scary out here in the sticks, that's true.
There is a, there is a, a God that has helped me in the past

(13:37):
and might help with y'all's crops, might help with, you
know, getting some greenery around here.
Have you heard of bark? And she proceeds to tell them
about bark. And the bark is love, bark is
life, and bark is. As you're doing that, Pablo, you

(14:01):
give me a religion check. As you proselytize, bark
everyone else. If you could give me a just a
just like. A20 baby.
The five farmers around you are absolutely swalled by the news
of bark. Everyone else, give me give me

(14:22):
just some wisdom. Checks.
That's a 10 from Bragg Rainier. 12. 21.
Nikomas, would you like to explain to these farmers that
there is still very much a monster down in the temple that
they're talking about returning to?
Yes. Call.
I mean, don't go down there. There's a bad creature.

(14:44):
It will fucking kill you. They stop listening to Pebble
for a moment and the kind of theleader of their little group
says, well, hold on. The the the Melbourne here said
that you guys killed it. It is still very much alive.
The gnome is an idiot. They look at you, Pebble, and
they say, wait, so you lied to us?
It's not my finger anymore, it told.

(15:06):
It told us that if if we were holding on to a wheel, it would
die, and if it wasn't holding onto a wheel and it wasn't holding
on to a wheel, if it didn't die, then it lied to me.
I'm only relaying to you what the monster told me.
And it told me that it was goingto die if it wasn't holding onto

(15:26):
a wheel. And did it die?
Well, it wasn't holding onto a wheel.
It it did not die, it it spoke to us afterwards.
I think Hubble here is just we we went through a long.
Check and there's only one thingyou can roll for this to work.
I wasn't trying to deceive though, I was only going based

(15:48):
on what Temple was. I didn't know about that.
I wasn't OK. Yeah, obviously a failure.
Fuck, so they they. Are you going to believe this
gnome? Devil the the The group looks at
you and they say, just to be clear, is there still a monster
down in the temple? Well, I guess so.

(16:10):
OK, so you did not kill it. I can go down there and kill it
if you want me to. They all look at each other
nervously and they say, well, wedon't want to go.
We don't want anyone to go down there.
We're afraid of it coming out. Well, here's the good thing
about bark. You don't actually need a temple
down there to to praise Bark, you just need to praise bark.

(16:34):
If you had gotten anything but aNat 20, this would have severely
undermined everything that you did.
But the second you talk about bark, they're they're back into
it, never listening again. They also, thanks to Nicole this
now also fully understand that there is in fact a monster down
there that will hurt them if they go in there.

(16:54):
Well, what if you guys were to seal this temple and then grow
some trees in a Grove and praisebark outside of this town?
You don't need this temple. They they kind of look at each
other and they say, well, we cantry to plant some trees.
Doesn't, doesn't really, you know, he kicks out the mud.

(17:16):
He's like, it's kind of not, notthe best land.
What? You told us about Bark.
Maybe, maybe Bark will somehow, you know, undo the power of the
vampires and the Counts and the the necromancers and yeah,
maybe, maybe the. She explains to them the
stronger that Bark gets, the better his influence will be.

(17:39):
So if you guys set up a outdoor in Nature Grove to bark and
defend Bark's honor and she proceeds to tell him the history
of bark and, and where he came from and, and what he's done so
far. And, you know, Even so far as to
explain, like, you know, how sheis becoming the sort of bark and

(18:02):
how we need to make bark strong to help fight the chain one.
She kind of explains to them what she understands of the the
Bark situation and says, you know, like, yeah, like Bark will
help those who help make him stronger.
Eagerly listen and talk and say Oh yeah well we'll definitely

(18:24):
try we'll we'll see what happenswe're definitely not going down
there so we've got to find somewhere else to go I guess so
we'll. She, she breaks a piece of, she
takes the, the piece of bark, the the artifact of bark out of
her pocket and she explains whatit is.
And, and she breaks a small piece of it off and says, I
haven't done this for anybody. But this dreary land needs

(18:48):
something a bit stronger than just intangible belief.
So if one of you guys were to hold this, as a matter of fact,
yeah, hold on to this. And this is a piece of an
artifact of bark. So this will give you something
that to, to focus y'all's energies on to, to, to maybe

(19:08):
make this town a bit greener, maybe help your crops, you know,
grow a bit better, you know, and, and she proceeds to give
them a piece of piece of the piece of bark.
Take care and nod. And as this conversation and
this exchange is kind of wrapping up, several of them,

(19:30):
one of them walks up to Thea andsays, Hey, we wanted you to have
this. It's, it's not much, but you
know, one thing that does grow down here is, you know, things
like mushrooms and they, they hand you a bag of, you know,
edible mushrooms. Another farmer goes to right
near and said I was we just you know, our our three different
villagers don't have much to offer, But we we did want to all

(19:52):
to know how grateful we are and hands you a a shovel as a a
thank you and is proceeds to talk at length about how proud
he is of that shovel and that wants wants you to have it as a
token of gratitude. And then while they they take

(20:12):
the little piece of bark as an artifact, they thank each of you
again and they start wandering back across the marshes, heading
back towards their village. Edible mushrooms, huh?
As as they walk away they they hear Braggoneer playing the song
of bark. Yeah.

(20:36):
He's a bit rusty, it's been a while.
One of them turns around and comes running back up to you.
It was the one that gave you theshovel.
And it goes, just curious, where, where, where we're the
five of you going next? Where Where are you heading to?
Right now, we unless one of these these four has an idea,

(20:57):
we're, we're just, we're just here.
We're looking to defeat things and and grow our strength.
I'd like to rest. I'd like to rest as well.
Oh well, pebbles ball punchers are tired.
The the villagers as well, you, you all look like you know, you,

(21:20):
you, you're probably better suited for, you know, like a a
town or a city and you know, it's a few days South of here.
But if you wanted to, you know, you, you could definitely, you
know, if you, if you head straight S, there's not really a
lot of good roads from our villages.
I mean, we usually we just, you know, cut across the land and
goes the crow flies. But if you just go South,

(21:42):
you'll, you'll come up on a, a smallish city just to the South
of here. You know you have, I don't know,
other people who want to hear about bark.
Or perhaps you know, other people that, you know, heroes
like you might be able to help. Pebble steps up to him and and
reaches her hand out shake and, and and says, you know, I, I

(22:05):
really want to thank you. You know, if we don't see you
again before we leave Necrovin, thank you.
It was, it was great to meet youall and and I, I hope you guys
somehow make that temple safe, you know, even if you have to
block it off. You know, this is, Yeah, we are

(22:25):
probably going to have to talk about putting a guard outside of
it or something else for anybodyelse who tries to come here, but
we'll, we'll make sure nobody goes inside.
May bark protect you in all yourdays.
You too, and turns. Around bark.
So S guys, I guess we're headingSouth and or do you guys want to

(22:48):
camp out or it's kind of mushy here?
We can go find some, you know, dry ground and and and camp out
a bit. I would like to rest.
We can definitely set up, let's find a place with a good vantage
and I can I can conjure us up some nice lot things for us.

(23:14):
Yes. Interesting.
How are you guys moving away from the temple a little like
you're, you're like, you need some other like grounds to set
up and. I I think, yeah, we'd try to
find some dry ground. I assume we'd start off in the
direction of the town that they mentioned and look for like a
hill or something with a good view.

(23:35):
It's pretty flat lands as as you're heading South, you know,
there's kind of like some gentleslopes to the landscape.
But otherwise, I mean, it kind of looks like Dallas is what
comes to mind. Just one of the flattest,
flattest cities I've been in. You know, there, there's not
really any like high vantage points, but you make your way

(23:58):
out. The South away is kind of going
in the general direction that the farmers told you about.
And the sun is rapidly setting. You're pretty sure it's kind of
this constant overcast of darkness, but it is going from
Gray to dark Gray to almost, youknow that true like pitch black

(24:21):
of night. Are we setting up at normal camp
or are we going to Tiny Hutting?Oh, I'm tiny hutting for sure.
For sure. Great.
What? What is the Tiny Hut going to
take the form of? What's everyone in the mood for?
Not a red tent. Sir, do we not a tent?
Red tent? I heard about red tent, anything

(24:43):
else not? A red tent.
Not a tree I. Would like a tree house.
All right, tree house. I create a 10 foot tall.
Tree house, Yeah, sprouting up out of the ground.
This gnarled Gray twisted tree matching very much the very

(25:08):
sparse, very unvegetated land around you.
This gnarled up tree starts growing up out of the ground and
out of the branches. A large Hut up at the top at the
top of a rope ladder you have toclimb up to get into the tree
house. Yeah, which is the.

(25:32):
Tiny Hut it it has all the same usual that fits.
Yeah. Steel defender kind of camps out
of the base of it. I I will spend the night
attuning to wouldn't say I have to attune to the the armor, so I
will I will attune to the daggerof Nile.

(25:56):
I think I would like to go talk with Narlowin and kind of sit
and discuss and, and go over thethis jet pack, the steam powered
jet pack that I'm that I've got that I'm wearing, you know, both
to kind of let Narlo in study itto, to so that there can be like

(26:21):
repairs or, or, you know, whatever.
And also to ask him, Hey, how doI use this thing, you know, to
kind of get a better, better idea of what I can do with it.
So yeah, that's what I think I would spend the evening on is

(26:42):
talking with NAR Lewin, if NAR Lewin wants to.
Narloin will absolutely sit downwith Pebble and basically go
over the fact that he doesn't know shit about Fuck and he was
trying to learn everything he could from Torque about these
jet packs and the best he can offer is to take the jet pack

(27:04):
and put it on the Steel Defenderand keep studying it.
But there's no way he can teach Pebble how to use it right now.
Go ahead and give me a intelligence check.
Which one of us? Nargley the plus 3 is 5.
What? Yeah.
You're you. You tell Pebble you don't know

(27:26):
shit about Fox, and beyond that you know that it is probably
also like the other one Braggartir used with A5.
The only thing that you can definitively say is that it is
probably a one time use time. As to whether or not you could

(27:48):
rearm it in some way. That is a different conversation
and you are, in this moment, tootired to think too hard about
it. Yeah, I relate to that in all
the ways. And basically just tell Pebble,
hey, this well above both of ourpay grades, let's just store it
somewhere safely for now. And she's still going to wear

(28:09):
it. It looks cool on her.
OK, OK. Yeah.
With Zabs Thea as everyone's in the hubs, kind of like getting
ready for their long rest and all of these different things.
Same as you saw before. You see a your your shadow

(28:33):
slickers a little bit towards the rope ladder, leaning down
out of the tree house. Oh, perfect time to go.
Can you say anything to anybody? No.
I'm sorry, where are you? Going oh I I need AI need a
minute to myself Hubble. You could be safe.

(28:57):
OK. I guess Pebble just goes off to
the corner and or corner or whatever and just, you know,
does some exercises before bed, you know, consults bark and does
exercises. All that stuff feels really bad
about the damage that he's caused the So he kind of

(29:17):
secretly sends the homunculus towhiz around just trying to be
deceptive, nonchalant and out ofsight.
Out of earshot. But probably a Dexter or a
stealth check on it. I don't know what you want.
If you do not want Thea to see the homunculus, it will need to
do a stealth check. Well, Thea, what is your passive

(29:41):
perception should. Be on.
Well, it's 12 maybe. Well, who's doing what?
Yeah, no. Who's the defender in this?
Who's? So I could tell you if I would
have to make a deck saving throw, I have a + 4 instead of a
+ 2. But it's not a saving throw.

(30:02):
Oh wait, I'm sorry, I lied. Steals Stealth +4, so let's say
14. Is it?
Is it really? It gets a + 4 to stealth.
Yeah, it's got a + 4 to stealth and perception.
OK, then that is going to be theis passive perception.
See you, you make your way down out of the tree house and the

(30:28):
the shadow kind of like leads you just a little ways away and
like you're, you're right on theedge of the glow of the tree
house as like true pitch black darkness surrounds on all sides.
There is sounds out in the dark of the sounds of like things

(30:50):
making kind of welching noises off of the distance.
Every now and then you hear something that looks like it's
being dragged through like the the like wet mud and mire of the
swamps. And the form of the shabba

(31:11):
faintly rises up just outside ofthe glow of the tiny Hut.
And you see Besaba standing there with her arms frenced,
looking at you. I mean, if I leave the Hut, I
can go back in it, right? Yeah, definitely.
You're, you're not, you're already outside the Hut.

(31:31):
You're just on the very outer ring of like the light that it
kind of naturally casts for rally from I assume there's
probably a fire out in there from.
Oh OK, so you're you're just on the outer ring of the the light
that surrounds the Hut with the shabba standing in the shadow.
OK, I mean, does everybody else like hear me or?

(31:54):
Nope, you're out of your shot. The shop is standing there with
her arms pressed and she says, well, anything to say for
yourself? Yeah, that, yeah, I was just, I
didn't know if they were going to hear if it was something like
important or whatever. She sniffs at you now, so she
says everything I say is important.

(32:16):
Oh my God, I wasn't talking to you.
I mean. I don't really, I don't really
know what to what to say. I thought it was causing
mischief but I was getting my ass kicked.
You said you you caused a littlebit of trouble, that's true.

(32:40):
You made some people slip, I guess.
I think I did say at one point, I swear I'm Bishabha.
I don't remember at what instance, but I think I said
that. It just would have been so much
more delicious if one of them had dull.
Yeah, well, I do not have any luck.

(33:01):
Well, Sia, I think we're going to rate this a solid, a solid
BI. Can't exactly say I'm
disappointed. I just hope for a little bit,
you know, don't you want to be astudent?
Well. Yeah.
Great, then next time when a opportunity arises and you time

(33:28):
cause a little misfortune, just make sure they bleed a little
bit more for me. I could probably do that.
And for my sake, don't die. I've taken a special interest in
you and that doesn't come for free.

(33:48):
Well, thank you. I will try not to die.
Excellent. I appreciate that.
Well, add a quick job, little Thea.
You can scurry back to your treehouse then.
I'm envisioning her like pattingpatting my head in between my
ears and then scooching me away.Yeah.
But it's kind of like, like a, avery heavy-handed like Pat Pat

(34:10):
like not any. Like, Oh, no, yeah, absolutely.
No, that's definitely what I envisioned.
Yeah, and in the darkness, she says, By the way, your elf
friend, he seems to have a thingfor bugs.

(34:30):
I don't know if he trusts you ordoesn't trust you, or maybe he
just wants to. Maybe he's just a little too
curious for his own good. But he's got this little metal
contraption buzzing around out here.
We should just be aware of that.Oh, I'm not too worried about
that. Him, on the other hand, we're
going to have to have a talk eventually.

(34:51):
Oh, I am looking forward to that.
I bet you are. You watch.
Then I turn around and I'll walkback.
She Snickers to herself as you walk away, and she dissipates in
the darkness. See.
Are you just heading straight back up into the Hut?
Yes. Your secret's safe with the
homunculus. Yeah.
So basically the like the homunculus and the steel

(35:17):
defender both have like a basic intelligence.
Like they're not dumb, but they don't like communicate like we
do. So like think of like an animal,
like trying to get like info across or like like stuff like
that, like basic intelligence and like I can't sense through
them, but like they could get meif needed.
They can, what do you call it? They they can give me the help

(35:38):
action and they are sentient. So they have the every action
that's in the stat block they can do if I'm not around.
But they can't speak. They can't speak because they
don't have like a mouth to speakwith, like a voice box.
And it's not a beast, so you can't use beast sentence right?
No, it is a It is a nostrum. OK.

(36:02):
With that, Sia is returning, Pebble and Arlene are going over
the jetpack, Braggrenier is spending his time focused on his
new dagger and a tuning to it. Nakomas are Are you up to
anything in particular before your long rest?
I'm going to meditate for a little bit.

(36:22):
In fact, Nakomas is not going tolong rest.
She is going to meditate, which has the same effect for her, but
she's going to think about what she's seen and kind of dwell on,
you know, what's going to possibly happen in the future on
their journeys here. Trying to try to collect her
thoughts and organize what's going to going on here.

(36:46):
So with that, does everyone wantto eventually begin their
meditation or their long rest atthe same time or do you guys
want to stagger to try and keep watch?
How would you guys like to schedule the way the night is

(37:06):
spent? How long is Lehman's Tiny Hut?
8 hours exactly. So we we've got to sleep if we
want that. 8 hours, right? Yeah, Narlyn only does 4 hours.
Yeah, I only do 4 hours. And the Steel Defender and
Homunculus both don't have exhaustion.

(37:28):
And yeah. You.
Guys, stagger it. I'm also going to cast Hearth of
the Moonlight in Shadow, which is a special.
During a short or long rest you can touch a point in space and
create a invisible 30 foot sphere that grants A5 plus bonus
to stealth and perception checkswhile within it, and light from

(37:51):
open flames within it can't be seen.
Oh nice, so extra protection forthe lineman's.
Extra protection, baby. Nice.
OK, that. That ruins your plans.
A little, a little bit. Give me a second.

(38:12):
Let me think here. So you tear those.
Pages out. And the Hut goes dark.
Now does it Interesting. And what is?
What is the range of what? 30 foot sphere.
So. Seems to be just bigger than the

(38:32):
Tiny Hut. Well, the Dome is also opaque
from the outside, so people can't see anything.
Yeah, cool. So you can still see out.
Not only can we see out, we get a + 5 to perception checks.
Yeah, I see that. OK, I plan.

(38:56):
Still works. OK, I had to, I had to double
check two different things, but it still works.
OK good. Everybody.
OK who? Between Nargomena and the Comus,
which of you do you think would come out of your long rest

(39:18):
trance first? You can either roll for it, or
you can stagger your meditationsso that one is awake while the
other meditates while everyone else sleeps.
You you 2 tell me how you handlethat.
Halloween would kind of look over at Nokomis and be like,
hey, my brains fried. Can you take the first four

(39:39):
hours? I'm going to trance and just
just try to sort my sort my mindout and then I'll take second
watch. Sure.
Thank you. Thank you.
The steel defender will be rightoutside.
So if anything, I'm sure he'll alert us.
OK. OK.
Nick Homers, please give me a look.

(40:02):
Check. Just a flat D Tor.
A flat D20. Yes, please.
I got a three. Nicomas, you're sitting awake
inside the tree house, Tiny Hut with the sphere of protection
around it. You know, keeping watch.

(40:23):
You're staying alert. But you are kind of the, you
know, alone with your own thoughts.
And in in those quiet moments, you, you talked a little bit
about how the comes wanted to reflect on how this was, you
know, how this land and how these events were impacting you

(40:46):
and your future and the things around you.
Do you have any other like thoughts to add to that or
anything that Nokomis might be experiencing Or in this quiet
moment of being like the only one awake in the dorm room and
everyone else is asleep, right? What, what, what kind of is
going through Nikomis tonight? Nikomis is, you know, worried

(41:08):
about the land that they're in because it seems like there's a
lot of darkness. And obviously, the creature that
they just faced seemed otherworldly.
And she realizes that it's probably not the only danger in
this land. And as you're thinking of that,
could you please give me a reception check with your bonus

(41:31):
+5 added to? I rolled the now 146.
Good Lord. Not ones.
Oh. Mccomas You're sitting with your
thoughts, so you're kind of likeleaning against the edge of the

(41:53):
the tiny hot kind of looking outinto the darkness.
And outside you see a woman. She was, She seems to be glowing
slightly as as though something is outlining her and it's

(42:15):
causing her to show well in the darkness and she is struggling
and scrambling and she's like falling to her knees and
crawling and then getting back up and running.
And you can see that she's just wearing like a a simple outfit
and is barefoot and is very obviously distressed as she is

(42:42):
running through the muck outside.
And like all that's the thing that one you're you're convinced
she's being consequent at the time that's.
Curious. Abel Mumbles in her sleep.
No, no, it's a trap. No, it's a trap.

(43:04):
Yeah, Nokomis Nikomas doesn't like this situation.
Makes her very uneasy. As as you're thinking that the,
the woman is kind of like movingnear the Hut.
They're like kind of like skirting past it.

(43:25):
Like she's going to miss. She's not going to run into the
Hut because it's so obscure. I I hate to do this too Nikomas,
but within that one, could you please give me a Wisdom saving
throw with disadvantage? I got an 11.
Oh man. She is in immediate danger and

(43:47):
needs to be rescued. I want to be stealthy about it
and I get +5 to stealth. OK, go ahead and roll me a.
Stealth tractor. That's a Nat 20 + 5. 20 So what
is that like a 26 Yes, to you, not a single person.

(44:10):
And the Hut hears you as you, one with the shadows, made your
way down the ladder to the swampy marsh below.
And as as you begin to approach you, you can hear the swelching
sounds and you could see just a little ways off the woman

(44:34):
running and struggling and looking over her shoulder
worriedly. But she.
The steel defender is down there.
The the the. Do you sneak past the steel
defender too? I mean, with a nap 20 and a 26,
like, yeah, I I think she sneaksaround the steel defender.
Makes sense to me. What?
What? Once on the ground What?

(44:55):
What would nakamas like to do with perfect stuff?
Yep. So this woman in white
apparently is clearly looks likethey're in some sort of trouble.
Maybe I would like to go touch her as.

(45:15):
You approach, she falls to her knees with a splash and you
reach out to like touch her shoulder and your hand goes
through her shoulder. Well, that's interesting.
As that happens, she stops suddenly and she turns and looks

(45:41):
at you and her eyes are wide andher mouth opens but no sound
comes out and she slowly gets upto her feet, standing in front
of you, Nakomis and you watch asher feet slowly begin to
disappear and more and more of her form becomes incorporeal,

(46:04):
dissolving from the feet up. Could everybody please roll?
Initiatance did. Did we finish our walk?
No. OK.
I'm afraid not. I knew that was going to be the
case. Roll A3I.
Roll I roll a 16. 5. 16. And.

(46:29):
I. Rolled in that one.
That tracks. You just got surprised around
it. You need to change your dice,
Nicomas. I'm just rolling 20s and ones
snow in between there's. Nothing in between.
Bragg, what did you get again? 2222 for Bragg and normally, I

(46:51):
mean, did I hear 13? 13 And I had a question, how
long did we get into the like did I finish my trance or not
even that? With a three, no, nobody has
gained any of the benefits of their long rest.
Now, that said, Mccomas is currently the only one awake.
What happens next? Mccomas you're, you're watching

(47:14):
as the woman slowly dissolves and disappears, but you still
hear a squelching sound of heavyweight stepping down into
the muck of the mud. And as the woman dissolves up to
the shoulders, you blink a couple times and through the

(47:36):
darkness you can see the creature standing behind the
dissolving woman. It is.
You know, I'm annoyed in shape, but that's the closest you can
say, with long legs and arms that extend out almost like an

(48:01):
orangutan. It's got arms that extend from
the shoulders down into the luckof the mud, almost like it walks
on all fours. And it's standing up on its back
feet, now standing about 15 feettall.
And out of the back of its head, this long protrusion wraps
around the front of its skull, dangling in front of its face

(48:22):
like a lure. The last vestiges of the woman
dissipates and disappears. And through where you were just
looking at her face, you now seethe skull and the impossibly
large open jaw of the creature in front of you.

(48:43):
And it is going to take a surprise rant on the ghost.
Wake me up, coach, I'm ready to go.
Mccomas does a 14 hit. Nope.
Long scraping claws swing at youand just in time, you know

(49:05):
you're able to kind of like stepback and out of the way and it's
going to take another swing at you.
Does a 22 hit. Yeah.
The long arm with the claws reaches out, and the claws stab
into Nokomis, dealing 4 + 5 + 7 + 420 points of damage piercing.

(49:32):
OK. And the long claws of the hand
stab in, and then the long thumbwraps around you and you are
currently grappled by the creep Trump.
Would Nakomis like to react in any way?

(49:53):
Yeah. Let me guess, death saves?
No. Weren't you like, weren't you at
like 18 or something? Nope, I'm still alive.
I got six health points left. I want to try to escape from
this grapple. You can do that.
I will also say that if Nakomis would like to screen, that is a

(50:16):
free action that you may also take.
No, I'm just going to use my telepathy.
Yes, that's the one, that's the one.
I'm going to use my telepathy totell everyone, hey everyone,
wake the fuck up. There is some fuck shit outside

(50:37):
trying to kill me and then I'm and then I'm going to, then I'm
going to scream, then I'm going to scream telepathically.
Yeah, OK, yeah, everyone hears Nicoma screaming telepathically
screaming you away and the wordsthere's something out here
trying to kill me and that is it's bonus round on Nicomas, top

(51:06):
of the turn order. Brag Grenier.
You're the first to wake up. All right, Braggoneer wakes with
a start and a minor headache with someone screaming in his
ears. But do I?
Do I need to do an insight checkto know where he is, or do I
kind of already figure out wherehe is?

(51:29):
It was a, you know what? Yeah, give me a perception check
and you've got the +5 on top of whatever else.
So that's a 21. You see Nakomis lifted up in the
air being held by this preacher. All right, so I'm going to point

(51:49):
and shout to everyone else. They're over there.
And then I am going to, did it use its reaction?
Wait, no, top of the turnover order.
I'm going to cast dismant Whispers at a level 2, so I need
it to give me a wisdom saving throw.

(52:10):
It's a range of 60 feet. OK.
Yeah, I'll say it's within 60 feet.
Wisdom save. It rolled a 6 + 6 for 12.
It fails on a failed save. It takes 46 damage because it's
level 2 and must immediately useits reaction to move as far away

(52:32):
from me as the speed allows. Feel we've been in this
situation before. Yes, we.
Have and it's going to take 12. Psychic damage, well damage,
correct. So this is not revolving around
any kind of like conditions likeyou're.
You're not giving it a condition, it just is.

(52:54):
It is forced to run away. Yeah, it's just forced to move
away from you. So with Mccomas still wrapped up
in its hand, Oh it's it's still got her grappled upon.
It turns and it uses its movement to run 40.

(53:15):
Feet away from the. For argument's sake, when you
grapple something, doesn't your movement get half done?
As you have to do fantastic during the surprise round, it is
now a new round and it has all of its reaction movement and
everything. Right, but I'm saying it's
explode while you're grappling. I see, I see me look at this.

(53:40):
Yeah, 'cause there is a feat that allows you to negate that,
like a grappler feat that allowsyou to have your full movement.
Unless the grappled creature is 2 or more sizes smaller.
Thank God it's not pedal. Large, and I believe Nakamis is
still considered a medium. So yeah, I'll give it to you.

(54:03):
It moves half its speed, holdingthe comus in one hand.
It's kind of begins like sidestepping, running 20 feet
away from the treehouse. So I'm just going to say that it
is a flat 40 feet away now. It started 20 feet away and it

(54:24):
has run an additional 20 feet. I wasn't going to let you do
that and turn my spell against us.
That's your smell, that's your OK bragrenier.
Anything else that you are doing.
You have a you. You've you've used your action
for the dissonant whispers. I don't even know if I have any

(54:47):
bonus actions. Well, because we haven't, we
haven't slept, so I don't have any bonus actions.
So I'm just going to shout at everyone else like rouse them
saying Nokomis is in trouble, swat mommy needs our help and I
am going to use my movement and chase after 30 feet.

(55:11):
I'm not going to nerf you with the ladder, I'm just going to
say you're in and like slide right out of your tiny Hut and
you are now within 10 feet of the monster.
So it's 40 foot away. It is 40 feet away from.
OK. Next up is the creature, say 21

(55:31):
initiative with Nokomis wrapped up in one hand.
It ran 20 feet away and it turns, looks over its shoulder,
and it sees you, Braggoneer, as you so true to form, rush in and
it is going to make an attack atyou because it's going to use

(55:58):
its reaction, which is called deadly reach.
When a visible enemy moves within 10 feet, the creature can
make a claw attack against that enemy as a reaction, and if that
attack hits, it gets to make a second attack with the same
reaction. Brag you are so lucky does a 12

(56:19):
hit. Yo, thank goodness.
It misses with its reaction. It is then going to use its
action proper and take a swing at Bragrenair.
This time it rolled a 19th. It's still not Nah, yeah, that

(56:43):
hits. OK, Bragrenair, these claws
slash across you and you take 23points of piercing damage.
That's a lot of damage. Bragrenary's looking pretty
messed up. It slams Nokomis once into the

(57:04):
ground as it like comes down on all fours.
Its jaw unhinges as it leans in towards you, muscles and tendons
and sinews stretching as its mouth elongates and it roars the
bobbing anglerfish like orb in front of its face, just dangling
above your head. And I need Brag Grenier and

(57:28):
Nokomis to each make flat D20 luck checks please. 712 Brag
Grenier, it takes a second attack at you.
Swap my man's here trying to bring me up.
Does the 21 hit? Yes.

(57:50):
Is it more than 9 damage it? Yeah.
Wow, Yeah, OK, it rolled really bad.
It rolled A10 and A2 and A2. So it it did 18 damage total.
That's bad. Brag goes down.
I mean, yeah, it rolled 2 twos. Good.
Brag. As you go down, the creature

(58:14):
scoops you up in its mouth, swamp water and muck and
detritus and the dead vegetationof the ground pouring out from
between its teeth as it picks you up in its mouth as nocomus
in one hand, and it uses its movement to run 40 feet. 20.

(58:38):
Or I'm sorry, you're right, 20 feet.
It is now 60 feet away from the Hut as it a weird.
Question. To get away with its prey.
It's got 2 creatures now, does it get half twice?
You know it, it has the ability to grapple 2 things.

(58:59):
Let me see here. I'm just being an ass, but
theoretically I don't know man, it's.
A fair question, I do. Weigh almost 200.
Pounds. Yeah, we're all like a hit away
from death, and now we've got tochase after this thing with
dashes. Yeah.
We're not all the hidden ways todeath.

(59:21):
Someone can start down if that. Thing did 18 with a bad roll.
No, it did. Oh yeah, 18 with a bad roll.
Yeah, TPK. It's been a great run, guys.
Let's go. You guys wanted to come
Deckropon, you're dealing good. Nokomis.

(59:42):
Nokomis wants to cast a spell. Hey.
Let's not get mad. This is this is realistic.
No, I'm not mad. You know, we chose to camp in a
swamp instead of following them to a village.
Nokomis, Is it a reaction spell?Doesn't say no.
No, it's not a reaction spell. And it does have to wait till

(01:00:06):
your turn, unless it's somethingyou can do out of turn.
No, it's an action. What is this?
What is this about? I can't tell you yet, I can't
use it yet, OK? Pebble, it's your turn.
How far away is this bitch? 60 feet.

(01:00:26):
Well, Pebble goes back to. Necromond in everybody's ears.
Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and I guess bonus action rage and
fucking dash. Dash gets me right up next to

(01:00:47):
it, or actually farther, fartherthan it can.
So I'm going to run to the otherside of it.
I'm next to this thing. You are up in.
All I can do, yeah, I I went to the other side of it because
it's trying to pull her one way.Yep, you you run around and cut
it off. Yeah, that's all I can do.

(01:01:09):
OK, that's going to bring us to Narlawi for 13 all.
Right, I am going to cast. It's 60 feet away from me.
Yes, it is. You just got a really cool new
item. Yeah, I'm aware.
I don't quite want to use that yet.
So would you say there's any trees and stuff?

(01:01:29):
Around like we in the forest, where are we No it.
It is all sloppy, marshy, flat land like you.
There's very few trees throughout the area.
Like it's very, very few and farbetween are like the old gnarled

(01:01:51):
dead trees that are kind of likescattered here and there.
But you know what? Or you're trying to do something
with a tree. I was just curious about webs
theoretically, because that's got a 60 foot range, but I mean,
that's fine. I can do.
Yeah, I can do that. I'm going to go ahead and cast
long strider on myself and then I will run 40 feet towards the

(01:02:19):
little night light shit that reminds me of that Lantern fish.
Absolutely. Yeah.
The angler fish, I can remember assel fish, angler fish,
whatever it is. And so I'm going to run 40 feet
at it because my long strider allows me to run an extra 10
feet walking. Let's do dash on the steel

(01:02:40):
defender. He's going to go on the other
side of it. He's got an 80 foot run.
So he's going to kind of surround, surround this thing in
and the dragonfly will also fly 30 feet towards it.
And that's all that I can reallydo.
OK, you are within 20 feet of it.
Yeah, I'm within. I'm within 20.

(01:03:01):
The Steel Defenders are 20 feet past it and the Dragonfly's 30
feet away, and that's all I've got.
OK, that brings us to Thea. Yes, Thea is now grumpy because
she is awake, but I guess I'm going to use my move speed.

(01:03:22):
I'll just walk 30 feet wherever that's going to be towards this
creature. And Eldridge blasted in the
face. So.
What's the range on your Eldridge Clust?
120. More than enough room?
Go ahead, make that a tackle. OK, that was NAP 1, some good
user lock point that's not making it a fantastic.

(01:03:45):
Idea. Fantastic idea.
Got a 21. That absolutely hits and
definitely doesn't hit brag rearin its mouth.
Correct. Which would be just saves that,
yeah. And it's 2 beams, so I'm going
to roll that dice twice. First one's A10 for one beam,

(01:04:06):
second one is an 8, so 18 damage.
That is very close to Max damage.
Very nice. And with do I still get 22
attacks? Eldridge Blast.
It's so when you make a attack action, it if you're making the
attack action, you swing twice. If you're taking a spell action,

(01:04:26):
you get to cast. Home.
Never mind, it's been a hot minute.
I know you, the whole last template, you guys didn't fight
anything. I thought you'd all be rearing
for a fight. No, we were fighting each other.
And now you have a very clearly defined monster to hate.
Yes, awesome. And it's called the DM.
It's me. I was the evil thing all along.

(01:04:51):
You don't get to win two in a row. 18 is a good amount of
damage that Eldridge blast slamsinto it.
That's force damage, right? Edge yes, force damage.
Fantastic. OK, Arcturus, everyone's

(01:05:12):
favorite wood elf. Holy shit balls.
Is. Is that what this whole thing
says? Yes, the Dacoma says.
Holy shit balls this thing is trying to run off with me.
This is insane. Is this predator?
The comus is going to wild shapeinto a dragonfly and try to
escape the entangle. They're a grapple.

(01:05:36):
Fantastic idea. OK, normally it's ADC floating
strength like check to like get get free of the grapple.
It's your wild shaping into something that small.
I'll say give me a Dexterity save with advantage if you're

(01:06:00):
going as small as a dragonfly. I did an 18.
That'll that'll do it. You wild shape down and you whip
between its fingers, and you arefree of its gravel.
OK, I'm going to fly somewhat safely away, but I'm going to

(01:06:21):
get within. That was my action.
I'm going to get within 60 feet.So you're you're 60 feet on my
front. Just checking, yes, 60 feet yes,
and then I'm going to heal Narlaween who I believe is dead
or close to dying. Narlaween's at 39 Health.
Just kidding. Bragging here is dead.

(01:06:45):
I'm going to heal brag right here.
But. Why does nobody know the
difference between me and? Everyone's not.
Mean to us? I'm going to use Yeah bonus
action for that. OK, what are we casting?
We're casting healing word. And what is the range on healing
Word? 60 feet.

(01:07:06):
Fantastic heal that Bragren ear.Yes, unfortunately it's only a
rank one because bonus action I think it'll only be rank one.
Yes, that is correct. All right, here it is.
No, no way. I mean, and I click the wrong
button in my browser if one second, OK, I healed you 4-8.

(01:07:27):
Hey, this is a pretty good rule.I wake up in a mouth.
Hey. Oh.
Like a dog with a bone, I you are just dangling out either
side of this thing's oh like. Mouth flinched around him.
The dark black ends of the sky above you and the dark blackness

(01:07:51):
of the swamp below you. Our.
Wild Shape. It is not your turn, Sir.
Reaction. Wild Shape.
Actually, I was lying. Arcturus, if you if that is all
of Nicomas's turn, it is Brac's turn.
So as I was saying, all right, well, I'm hurt and I'm in its

(01:08:18):
mouth. Does it know I'm awake?
Can I play dead and do a deception check?
Yeah, give me a deception check on playing dead.
You like hold your action. Yeah, I'm going to deception
check and then hold my actual Milton 17 deception.
It thinks you are dead. OK, I'm going to hold my action

(01:08:41):
until people get closer so it doesn't take two attacks on me.
That's honestly not a bad idea at all.
OK, Pebble is Pebble is right behind this thing.
Yeah, you're Pebble. You're I think 20 feet away or
10 feet away. No, I'm I'm standing on this

(01:09:04):
motherfucker's tail. I have 70 foot of movement when
I dash. Awesome.
This motherfucker's not going nowhere.
Oh well then, should I hold my action or should I help Pebble?
That's up to Brad. Yeah, I'm, I'm right next to
you. So as soon as it's my turn, I'm
swing for the fences. You can, you can you?

(01:09:24):
You can attack while you're grappled.
Can I try to wriggle out of its mouth then in that case?
Yeah, you, you can attempt to escape You're you're while
you're grappled, your speed is 0.
You can attack while grappled, but you have disadvantage oh, on
any target other than the grapple.
So you would be able to attack like grapple.

(01:09:46):
So it's up to you. You you can attempt to break
free on your turn, or you can stay grappled and play dead in
its mouth. You can.
You can make fun of it while you're in its mouth.
He could disguise self as one ofits babies.
A weird question. He was dead, right?

(01:10:11):
He was in death. Saving throws, yes.
Doesn't that lead to incapacitation?
He was incapacitated, but this specific creature still had him
picked up. The OK it just it says the
condition ends if the grappler'sincapacitated.
So I'm just curious. That might be strictly as the

(01:10:34):
rules read. That is not how my creature that
kills you and tries to run away and ichu works.
Oh, all good, all good. I was just curious.
And with that, we'll check. We're going to make sure that
Narlouine gets a a double whammyof the claws here.
That's fine, I can take it. I'm kidding.
So, Brad, I I do need to know, are you going to try to break

(01:10:56):
the grapple or are you going to hold your action?
Yeah, no, I'm going to attempt to.
Break the grapple. OK, so that will be your catch.
Yes. Do I get to afterwards or no?
If you succeed, you can still use your bonus action and your.
OK, awesome. Yeah, no, I'm going to.

(01:11:17):
I'm going to try to break free. Is this thing strong if there is
ADC to escape it? OK, am I doing strength then?
Yes, it is a strength all right.+0 give me something good I'm

(01:11:39):
going to pretend I'm dead again. Those we're just spasm monster
That's an 8 from Brag Rainier for the.
Audience wiggle of it. Give him guidance or flash of
insider like anything that helpshim.
Would would any of that help me?I mean, anything that you can

(01:12:01):
add to your role, they would have to be reactions.
So if anybody has a reaction to try to help them, they can.
Otherwise brag. Grenier, I'm sorry this thing
feels you wriggling in its mouthtrying to get free, and it
knows. What was?
Her year I got an 8. I've got to flash a genius.
I don't think 3 is going to helpyou buddy.
I'm I'm going to go ahead and I didn't want to, but I'm going to

(01:12:25):
burn my heroic inspiration. We just, we just, we just
survived A hag. I'm not going to die to a a
landfish. What does your heroic
inspiration give you? It allows me to re roll.
Any dice that is a 1717? Will do it.

(01:12:46):
You pry its mouth open and you drop heavily into the wet, murky
water below it. I like does it?
Does it have reactions if I move?
Away as reactions. Oh God damn it.

(01:13:11):
What a question. Though I I love that you ask.
I can just hear Jana's fuming inthe background.
Yeah. What?
Well, on the plus side, I'm not in its mouth anymore, so I'm
still going to. I'm going to take my luck and
try to get out of range a bit and over and near Pebble and

(01:13:35):
whoever else is near us. Oh.
Don't come near me, I'm right next to this thing.
Well, I'm trying to get behind you.
Oh. OK.
Pebble Protect. Me, I don't say that that is
still within range. It does not get an attack of
opportunity so that. All right, well, I'm, I'm hiding
behind Pebble. I need mirrors half covered.
OK, that is going to be the Angler creature's turn.

(01:14:03):
It's gonna take a swing at Pebble.
Come on. Pebble does a 22 hit.
You, yes. Ebble you take 18 points of
damage. Divided in half.
It is piercing, so Yep, that is cut in half to 9 and all right,

(01:14:26):
those claws slam and dig into you, Pebble and you are also
grappled. OK, other than Bragrenair, was
anybody else within 10 feet? No.
No, it was 60 feet away, right? No.

(01:14:46):
It's going to make its second attack at Bragrenair.
Ragnar does a 21 hit. Oh yes.
Ragnar takes 22 points of damage.
Ragnar goes. Back down and slashes into Bragg
again, holding Pebble in one hand.

(01:15:09):
It again reaches down, chomps up, Bragg in its mouth, and it's
going to run past the Steel Defender for 20 feet.
Does the Steel defender make an opportunity attack?
Hold on, can I'm I'm going it attacked Bragg.
I am going to use my Sentinel reaction to strike it.

(01:15:32):
Hey, I think you can still I. Haven't been able to do this in
a while. Yeah, go.
I'm going to say go ahead. OK, does a 10 hit.
That's not. What a goddamn waste.
It's just a reaction. It's just you.
Feel like that's the waste I just wasted a heroic
inspiration. Well, you got.

(01:15:55):
It I asked to make sure nobody else was in within 10 feet of
it. Hebel, you're swinging with your
axes wildly. It's stabbing into your side
with its claws. You're almost fully enveloped in
its hand. It scoops up brag in its mouth,
and it's going to run 20 feet past the steel defender trying

(01:16:16):
to make its way away from everyone again with its prey in
its mouth. Gnarly Ween, Does the Steel
defender have a reaction if something moves past it?
I just don't think it's moving past it.
I hate to rule check you again. I just think it's going to move
in speed of 20 again. Right.
It's moving 20 feet. You said you'd put your steel

(01:16:36):
defender right next to it, though.
I'm asking you. No, no, no defender.
No, the steel defender was 20 feet past it so because it had
an 80 foot range otherwise I would have used deflect attack
when it. I actually regretted not putting
it right on him because I could have used deflect attack from to
give it disadvantage on attack rolls to Pebble and bragged.

(01:16:58):
But I I moved it past it so if it decides to run 20 feet at the
defender, that's up to it. It is running in a, it's running
back in the direction it came, it is running towards nobody,
and it moves another 20 feet. I got it right where I want it.
The lump thing through the swampwater hebble.

(01:17:19):
That is your turn. You know it is.
Well, I think I am going to bonus action activate my
familial Quinn hand axes, which gives them the plus D4 die on
the damage. OK, and I'm going to take my

(01:17:41):
attacks recklessly because what the hell else would you do when
you're grabbed by a freaking mangler fish?
So first attack. Oh.
Does a 22 hit. Yes it does.
OK, I'm going to roll my my second attack now as well and

(01:18:01):
then I'll do the damage. Does a dirty 20 hit.
Yes, it does. There's the rolls.
We need it. Go ahead and.
Roll. I know, right?
All right, so I will roll 22 damage.
Plus your rage, so 24. I have I have a rage button so

(01:18:21):
that rage is already added. OK, 20.
Two. Yeah, yeah.
And. Windmilling your axes, slashing
into this thing's arm and back, and it screeches and makes some
undead guttural noises. I forget my familial hand axes.
Was a bonus action to activate correct?

(01:18:44):
Yeah, I believe it's supposed tobe.
OK, I'm just I'm just checking, making sure.
Did you not bonus action replessattack?
No, but that's just claiming it.That's like tree strike or or or
sneak attack or whatever. Just making sure.
Yeah, I, I just, I we didn't write it in the description,
that's why I asked. I couldn't remember if it was

(01:19:05):
just something I claim or if it is a bonus action.
It is definitely a bonus action.OK, yeah, 'cause otherwise I
wasn't getting to say second wind.
Oh, wait, no, oh, Action surge. I can action Surge.
I am going to action surge. I did not use it.
I have not used it. So I get to do all of that
again, reckless attack, pardon. Action Surge has not overset

(01:19:31):
it's. Not OK, OK, I feel like it used
to be I'm I still think in like 2014 terms, but yeah, go for it.
OK, gonna do this Vantage that does a 19 hit.
US. OK, well second attack again
does a NAP 20 hit. Yes it does.

(01:19:54):
OK. So, OK, Tens, 1626.
That amount of damage is no jokes as you for her Goring say.
Yeah, if there was ever a chanceto action surge, this was it.
This. This was a good time to use it.
Pebble. Anything else?
There is nothing that I can do. I gain my reaction back, so I

(01:20:19):
dare this thing to try to attackeither me or brag.
Nope. Dare it, I'm down.
Ah, OK, that's going to bring usthen to NAR Louine and.
NAR Louine is unhappy that the steel defender was circumvented
and he will go ahead and launch a bolt, a fire like a a crossbow

(01:20:46):
bolt with the fire thing on it at the creature.
Oh no. OK, go ahead and start attack.
Crossbow bolt burning. That's what we called it.
Yep, 21. That's a hit.
Go ahead, roll, dammit. Thank goodness I'm.
Going to go ahead and roll my second attack.
She. Tries to playing with fire. 27.

(01:21:11):
27 damage. Oh, no.
Second. Attempt.
No, no, no, I'm sorry. I don't get second attack.
Yep, that's a hit. So hold on. 18 + 1836 damage.
Is Yeah. Make sure you subtract those
from your inventory. I did, yeah.

(01:21:31):
Two flaming bolts streak out through the dark, slamming into
this thing's back. Both of them, just with loud
squishy thunking sounds slammed into this creature and it
staggers lots as it continues totry to run away with Pebble and
Dragonair. It is very, very messed up.

(01:21:55):
Now to the weak bonus action, the Steel Defender.
Yeah. Yeah, I so I was 40 feet away
from it. I'm sorry, I was 20 and then it
ran another 20. So I'm 40 feet away from it,
right? Yeah, we'll just keep it easy
and say 40 feet. All right, so I'm I'm going to
go ahead and run 30 feet at it so that I'm within 10 and then

(01:22:19):
the steel defender is going to go ahead and run right at the
thing and. Grasp it as it comes within 10
feet. It is using its reaction to take
a swing at the steel defender. OK, it's swinging at me, the
defender. The defender The defender is
what's coming out the range of it 18.

(01:22:41):
I stopped 10 feet away from him first and then the defender ran
at him. That's where I was clarifying.
You, you're running OK, so yes, you you need to tell me which
you or the defender gets to it first.
I would because the defender goes after me, so I run to it
using 30 out of my 40 movement speed.
Got it. It got a 24 ticket here.

(01:23:05):
That hits. OK, so it is using its deadly
reach reaction. So when it lands a hit with its
reaction, it gets to make a second claw attack against you
I. Would also like to point out
that I have my Sentinel back my my reaction back and it just
attacked a ally within, you know, within range so I'm going.

(01:23:27):
Had you not used it before when it swung at Brad?
That was my. That was before my turn.
My turn happened and then I so Igot my reaction back.
Is that does the reaction refresh on your turn or the turn
or like at the top of the turn or?
It's, it's like, think, think ofit as, as far as I've ever seen,

(01:23:48):
it's my turn refreshes it like it's anytime after me or before
my turn. I can use my user, you can use a
reaction. Then when it comes back to you,
it refreshes your, your, your action economy.
So I would get my like when it comes back to your turn, it
refreshes your action economy. I just spot checked it in RAW
and your reaction returns at thestart of your next turn, not the

(01:24:11):
beginning of the ring, so you have it right.
Yeah, so I was. Going to give it to you either
way. I was realizing I never checked
that. Great.
Yeah, Yeah, I think we went overthat sport.
Make your sound whole, attack all.
Right does an 18 hit. An 18 is a hit, thank God.

(01:24:31):
All right, that is a total of nine damage to it.
Yeah, so let me double check here, so you.
Can and it cannot move and it cannot move until my next turn.
OK. So Sentinel, when you hit a
creature with an opportunity attack, their speed becomes 0
creatures for public opportunityattacks from you even if they

(01:24:55):
take disengage. When a creature with a fluffy
and you make some telephone and the only thing you can use your
reaction to the fat man bottom attack OK but that doesn't stop
it from hitting and just reduceshim no?
No, and it reduces him. I'm just trying to get it to
stop. Yeah, yeah.
I'm just trying to keep it in range of everybody.
Yep, I'm just making sure it doesn't like stop or deflect the

(01:25:16):
attack. It has been a minute since
Sentinel came up, so OK. You had that?
Brag the the second attack it rolled ready right blows hill
was it 24 for the first one? So it rolled damage for the
first one. That was that was to Narlo and
not bragged. I'm sorry, yeah, to Narlo and.
I was going to say wait, wait, you.
Just did 24. Damage to me, yeah.

(01:25:38):
I got to. Say Norwin, you take 18 points
of piercing damage, so because it hit the first time, it does
get to make a second attack withits reaction.
That's part of the same action because a 19 hit.
It would, but I'm going to use my reaction for shield.
Awesome. OK, you blocked that.

(01:25:59):
Oh. Wait, I'm sorry, it only adds 5
S 21 meets it beats it, so there's no point.
Right it it rolled a 19. Oh rolled a 19.
OK I'm stupid I apologize. I cast shield and a a force
field of lightning just erupts, covering my body.
Yeah, it it. Makes its first swing at you as
you come within 10 feet. Then you cast up this shield and

(01:26:21):
you Glock the second swipe. Electricity arcing through the
sky. The murky swamp waters light up
as if lightning had struck the ground.
And that was just its reaction. All of that and pedal's reaction
and your reaction. It is still actually your
defender's turn. Well, the defender's gonna react

(01:26:46):
by running at this angler creature.
Skeleton guy jumping on his backand.
Grappling him. OK, fantastic.
The the phoenix comes just screeching, wings spread, beak
open and scrambles up. This thing's back.

(01:27:09):
That's gonna bring us, unless you've got anything else in our
the wing that is gonna bring us to Thea.
The dragonfly's just going to fly, you know, closer still,
staying about 20 feet away from it.
OK, OK, this thing is. Looking real messed up Thea.
Yep, I'm still angry that it woke everybody up.

(01:27:30):
It's taking my friends and I need my beauty rest Eldridge
blah. I'm just going to blast it
again. Canook roll that Eldridge blast.
There's a 15 hat. 15 is a mess. Well.
It's because she's very tired. But you still have your bonus

(01:27:52):
action and your movement if you would like to get closer or be
ready to do something else. I mean, I can bonus action my
spiritual weapon and try to hit it with that, yeah.
Go for it. Just Christ.
Nope, it was Nate. They was ready to go back to
bed. Yeah, afraid not, right?
Still it's it's still on death store though.

(01:28:14):
And I think are you going to runcloser like using movement to
get to get closer to it or are you staying back?
I will run so that I'm 30 feet away.
Well, I'll only run 20 feet forward.
OK, that brings us to Arcturus. Arcturus, you are about 80 feet
away. Cool story, bro.

(01:28:36):
All right, well, I'm going to move 30 feet closer by carefully
moving because I, I'm, I'm stillscared.
I'm a very lowlife myself. Some little bit, some
trepidation, but I'm going to heal Braggren ear.
I'm casting a third level healing word and the healing

(01:28:58):
word is going to be mosquito. As in, why are there so many
mosquitoes in this goddamn swamp?
You say that right as one lands on the back of your ear.
I damn it swat swat I hit myselfbut I still able to heal brag or
an air for 18. Fantastic, you just accidentally

(01:29:20):
healed the creature for 18 points.
What? No, I'm kidding.
You healed brag for 18. Wouldn't surprise me mud that
stupid. Mosquito.
I I'm going to use a bonus action to heal myself as well
for a healing word first level and that healing word is going

(01:29:41):
to be swampy, as in my boots areswampy and they smell bad.
I didn't know themselves. Heal myself for 9.
Excellent. And Nikomas is going to, let's
see, just like, I don't know, Crouch in the swamp.

(01:30:02):
OK, top of the turn order Fragraner, you're alive.
Welcome back, buddy. Grappled up and you wake up
again in this theme's mouth. Deja vu all.
Right, I'm going to take a dagger off my quiver and drop it
down its throat while casting neat metal on it.

(01:30:27):
Fantastic, I have make, make cut, attacker all.
The creature must succeed on a Con saving throw or drop the
object if it can. My spell save DC is 14.
This guy's got a + 6 to con saves.
Oh, here we go. 14 + 6 for a dirty 12.
OK, you have a dagger in your hand.

(01:30:50):
You're in its mouth. I'm, I'm allowing this.
So I believe it's going to take 2D8 fire damage because you've
you've got the dagger in its mouth where it's, it's biting
down on you. That's well established.
So I'm going to say that it's incontact with the dagger.
Yeah, several 2D8. And before you say it, I'm

(01:31:13):
specifying that I dropped the dagger.
So I'm not holding it, bud. I'm specify I specified that I
dropped the dagger out of my quiver.
So I have a quiver of daggers. OK, I know how that was going to

(01:31:34):
turn out. You kill yourself with your
dagger. I mean, it wasn't impossible.
Let's roll those two DA. That's line damage.
Rag Vernier with your heated dagger, tell us how you kill my
bone creature as you are being rag dolled in its mouth.

(01:32:00):
Pebble stabbed, pierced and grappled in one of its hands,
the steel defender screeching onits back.
I feel like from everyone else'spoint of view, you see Bragg
wake up and he starts struggling, but he's not trying
to break free. And then suddenly, the creature

(01:32:21):
stiffens and falls over Braggrenier, pouring out of its
mouth and rolling away as smoke trails come up from its closed
jaws. Pebble, you also are, you know,
roll free from its piercing claws as the grappling hand
unclenches itself and you roll free as well.

(01:32:44):
And congratulations guys, you have all survived my N Necrovon
nighttime encounter. Hell yeah, I like Necrovon.
There's things to fight. I'm not happy about it.
I I cuddle with the dead monsterand go to sleep.
For a long We got to go back, wegot to get back to the Hut.

(01:33:06):
We were only out here for like 45 seconds, you know?
20 hours. So would anybody like to
investigate the monster or take a look at it or like do some
checks of any kind on this? I'm good creature.
I'd like to cut it's finger for some of you know some of its

(01:33:30):
fingers off. I'm obviously taking a tooth.
I would like to speak with the dead.
While we're coming. It up like we're.
Over here hacking at it and you're like speak to the dead if
I have that now, go ahead, Nikomas, you first.

(01:33:50):
Yeah, Nick Thomas, that's all I had.
I don't like Tommy. That's not.
OK, I I I get closer and I talk to the dead corpse.
I used Speak with Dead D&D 721 wizard spell.
Yeah, it's eyes light up as you cast the spell on it, and it

(01:34:17):
continues to lay on the ground. But those red orbs of its thighs
kind of like roll upward, looking up at you from where
it's laying on the ground. Hello, dead one.
Why did you attack my friends? Who sent you?
My master? I see.
As I expected. Very well.

(01:34:39):
Well, I know you're of no use tome.
Then go back to sleep. Wait, what, Nakomas?
Nakomas whisper, hands away, andthe lights deplete out of the
creature's eyes. And now Nakomas would like to
animate the dead. Yeah OK Nakomas, should you

(01:35:01):
please give me an arcana chat asyou are it it replies my master
and like it it it's starting to say something else and you you
deanimate it. Please give me an Archon and
check a. Five hashtag shit rolls tonight

(01:35:25):
there comas. And and undead thing is an
undead thing, right? Uh huh.
Go go ahead and you cast AnimateDead.
Yes. For the audience, could you
please read your Animate Dead? Sure, choose a pile of bones or
a corpse of a medium or small humanoid within range is the

(01:35:52):
target. Is it a humanoid?
But it has arms and legs that go.
Go ahead, keep it. Yes.
The target becomes an undead creature, a skeleton if you
choose bones, or a zombie if youchoose a corpse.
On each of your turns, you can take a bonus action to mentally

(01:36:12):
command any creature you made with the spell.
If the creature is within 60 feet of you, you decide what
action the creature will take and where it will move on its
next turn. Or you can issue a general
command, such as to guard a chamber or corridor.
If you issue no commands, the creature takes the dodge action
and moves only to avoid harm. Once given an order, the

(01:36:36):
creature continues to follow it until it's task is complete.
Creature is under your control for 24 hours, after which it
stops obeying any command you'vegiven it.
To maintain control of the creature for another 24 hours,
you must cast the spell on the creature again before the
current 24 hour period ends. This use of the spell reasserts

(01:36:59):
your control over up to four creatures you have animated with
the spell, rather than animatinga new creature.
Now you animate dead, and the eyes glow the same color as your
eyes, and it slowly lumbers up onto all fours again.

(01:37:27):
Mccomas, could you please roll me AD 10?
I rolled A6. It is under your control and do
you all want to go back to the Hut to continue your long rest
does. This mean I don't get my
fingers. I'll say you cut off a finger.

(01:37:49):
My tooth. Sure, you you can also take out
a tooth. As for the like, we've only been
out here for a few moments because like, because combat is
6 seconds around. So like, realistically, yeah, we
could finish our long rest and you can, you know, Nokomis, you
can tell that thing to guard thethe hoot.

(01:38:11):
Oh, it's gonna. Yeah, if we would still get back
to our, we could finish our longrest, right?
Back to my heart. Go to sleep, yeah.
Yeah, I I kind of think we need to everybody kind of agree.
Even Pebble is tired now, Eric. Well, let's let's head back that

(01:38:32):
way. I'm going back into the the Hut.
Is everyone going back inside the Hut?
Yes. I'm going to roll for perception
on our way back. Do I see anything anywhere?
Give me a perception, Jack. Let's find out.
And I do it once we're within 30feet of said Hut.
OK. 17. 17 You get the sense there are things out in the

(01:38:59):
dark, but nothing immediately spread the pain.
I kind of just related a group. We're definitely never alone
here. Let's get inside something safe.
Now, Thomas, do you want the creature to remain?
Outside, absolutely yes. OK.

(01:39:21):
It couldn't enter anyway becausethe Hut only allows those who
were there at the start. OK, that's, that's a good note.
Everybody goes inside. Nicomas, you are taking resuming
that first watch, going to stay up for the first four hours
again. Sure.

(01:39:43):
OK. Now Louis looks over at Nicomas
going maybe, maybe avoid evil things for a little bit so I can
take a nap, damn it. I'm just so.
I'm just so curious. Well, curiosity killed the cat.
Nobody died. You were.
In a cat. I I I I cough up some blood.

(01:40:09):
Everybody climbs tired bloody BEinto their sleeping packs and
Mccomas the four hours of your watch go on event flight.
The creature remains outside under your control.
The four hours comes to an end narlouine who are done with your

(01:40:33):
trance and you have your long rest between narlouine and
mccomas the comas. Are you just going to go
straight to sleep or are you going to stay awake?
I'm going to go straight to sleep, OK?
I thought that was the thing with trancing is that replaces

(01:40:54):
sleep well. You know they they go into a a
like an unresponsible trance. It only takes them 4 hours to
get along the rest. Correct.
Yeah. So like they're not asleep, but
they they are, you know, so deepin meditation they that you
know, it's, it's, it's fantasy elfs.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like Nokomis doesn't need to

(01:41:16):
sleep? Then no.
She just goes or. Just for flavour.
I am I am resting in a trance but I am not sleeping
technically. OK, Marlene, two hours into your
watch, could you please give me a reception check?

(01:41:36):
It's a 23. You think 23 You see, after two
hours of Nokomis going to sleep, the bone creature outside it
begins to twitch, and it begins to jerk and stumble and stagger

(01:41:57):
and slam its hands against the ground.
Mcconus. In your trance you hear a voice
say return I, I said return, come back, return, return.
Damn it, could you and you're trance please give me a

(01:42:22):
Harkonnet? Check that one.
That's the third time tonight. That's the third time today.
Burn those dice. Just take a nap.
I'm kidding. Thank you for healing me.
This creature is going to just explode everywhere.

(01:42:44):
The Thomas, You're in your trance and Narloeen is the only
one to wake and Narloeen. But see, your eyes are like
rapidly jerking from side to side as you are trancing and
meditating and trying to maintain your control over this
animated dead. And you hear that voice
commanding the word return, comeback, return.

(01:43:08):
What is fucking wrong with you and Mccomas?
Your mind is suddenly filled with the vision of a pale
ghostly figure with red eyes andlong teeth and it says oh I see.

(01:43:32):
And in your trans light state, the pale figure takes a menacing
step towards you and you can seethat it's in a dark hall.
Just behind it is literally a throne made of bones, pelvises,

(01:43:56):
femurs and skulls until your vision is fully crowded by the
face of a vampire couch and one eye.
One hand reaches up and he says give me back my feet and your

(01:44:17):
head explodes in pain and you come out of your trance as in
your vision the vampire seems tobe reaching his fingers through
your eyes in your trance and youdon't take any damage.
But you wake up screaming out ofyour trance and NAR Louise you

(01:44:40):
see down below the twitching anddirking creature slams its hands
in the mud and splashes again, and it takes off running in a
dead Sprint away from the hood. Ow, my head hurts.
What's the creature speed 405040?

(01:45:00):
The comas in the last moments asyou're like coming out of the
trance and you're rubbing at your eyes like feeling like
someone was gouging their fingers into your eyes.
The after image of the count is still stained in your vision
there, and in the last moment before the image fades before it

(01:45:23):
as you're blinking your eyes andtrying to come out of it, you
see just past the figure over its shoulder, standing off to
the side behind the bone throne stands your brother and the
session. Excuse me?

(01:45:44):
You can't end it there. That is where we are ending the
session. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to
Necrovon. Still need a long breast, Dang
it. Necrovan.
I believe it's pronounced Necrovan.
Depending on who's. Singing.
Depending on who's singing it, it's Necrovan or Necrovon.

(01:46:08):
Ormond Bonk. Ormond Bonk.
You know, it's it's not all monkbonks.
All things are made-up. I'm going to I'm going to make
a, I'm going to make a monk character named Monk Monk Bonk.
Oh guys, what a session. No kidding.

(01:46:29):
That's that's a pretty funny manI.
Had to, I had to get in there and get close to that thing.
I it's like as soon as it it, yeah, I'm like this thing, this
thing's running like I have to be, I have to land a Sentinel,
you know, like holy kid, you know, I have to, I have to hit
it, you know, and then had that. You know, almost split party.

(01:46:52):
It did, yeah. And then that, that, yeah, that
Sentinel I hit was clutch, but that bad ass action surge
turned. I'm sorry, I, I, I take very
quick turns. So when I action surge, I know
you guys are all like, oh God, you're damn barbarian.
Hurry up. And I said it was still your
turn in that chat well before you even act and searched.

(01:47:13):
I just need you to know I said that before you even act and
searched. Yeah, no, that was that was
because that was fun. I mean, I you, you know me, I
like to jump right into the fight when you, so when you
like, dangle the carrot, you know, dangle the carrot, then
back up. It's like.
Sounds like bulls and Bears content.

(01:47:35):
Yeah, well, you guys successfully saw my undead
angler man dog whispy woman puzzle.
I just don't know why I wasn't allowed to chase after it when
it ran off during my shift. Because we have ended the

(01:47:55):
session. I was unaware of why I did not
get the opportunity to chase it and split the party.
That is all. That is my gripe.
Take it to. The balls of the games, guys,
I'm trying. To level it up.
I'm trying to do right Yama's here and I kept it to 2 1/2
hours for. You guys fantastic pacing and

(01:48:18):
I'll tell you from from the editor's standpoint, I'll
probably lose about 1/2 an hour. So, so perfect, perfect length.
I love it. I'd love to play more tonight
but it's late so. Can I open?
To do we get to finish our shortlong rest I I don't even care
about levelling up. Do we find?

(01:48:39):
That from the next session. No, I want to click on the
button. Stay.
I mean our Lewin got a full rest.
Nobody else has though. I don't see Brad in there
getting up again. It's.

(01:48:59):
We're going to find out next time what you crazy kids get up
to. But I admit I was a vital meme
session. When you guys get to these high
levels, you you got to hit the players with one thing after
another between those long dress.

(01:49:19):
Yeah. Now, like, yeah, not like you,
you did kind of have to do that.Like, I mean, I, I just based on
the nature of like what, what you had set up, it's like it
seems that was the big thing. And then the, the and all the
protections we added kind of like, you know, if you go raw,

(01:49:41):
none of that could have happenedbased on the protections.
But so I get why you kind of said, you know what, now they
need to experience this, you know, like very good in, you
know, encounter. The thing is is that the
creature was wandering by and itcould not see into all of you,
but Nicomas was able to see how to it and rolling a Nat one.

(01:50:11):
You know it it technically it could not do like a wisdom
saving chat and there originallyI'm giving you guys a peek
behind the screen in my notes here.
I I had scribbled out several things and changed it so that
Nakomis could see the thing and then wake everyone up and you

(01:50:31):
can all go out to investigate. You know the ghostly woman
together and with a narrow one. I'm sorry Arcturus, but Nakomis
was compelled to go try to save the woman as fast as possible.
Just rushing out on her. I had hope everyone felt like I
kept it fast. Ferris Faucet.

(01:50:51):
I think you did everything more more than appropriately.
I didn't see anything that was wonky in that session.
I think that the dice absolutelyhelped you tell the story, but
beyond that I I don't think you did anything.
Burn those dice, Nacomas. I mean the angler fish literally
uses the thing as as a bait. Like that's literally all that

(01:51:13):
happened. The comas just got baited with
curiosity and we then had to go saving.
That was it. There was a tiny bit I I.
No, even the the the role on, you know, stealth and the Comus
initiated. I'm going to do it stealthily
and less stealth. Past the steel defender was a

(01:51:33):
passive perception of 21. Like otherwise the Steel
Defender could have woken us up,but the Comus chose to be
sneaky. Yeah.
I'm I'm I'm drawing lines between notes in my notebook
with things being skipped at thereferenced to.
Far later, my notebook will. That's again, Arthurus.

(01:51:55):
I hope it felt there to you. I hope you didn't feel like I
was melroading you at all. I'm there.
Dude I I fucking rolled 3 not once.
Like, you know, it's just bad bad luck.
Punish me, mud. Arthurus railroading to Thomas.
Seriously, I'm very I'm upset with my own roles.

(01:52:20):
You know what? You you guys did it.
You got through it and you learned a little something.
And we learned that Braggrenier still remains one of our most
powerful players, dying twice and still getting the killing
blow. Seriously.
No, I'm not. I'm not even joking.
You know, Bragg dies every fight.

(01:52:44):
And Bragg has, I think canonically has the most kills.
Like Bragg is our MVP. He really is on on as far as
combat goes. Both and the most sound.
Listeners, listener, listeners, those of you who've listened,

(01:53:04):
Wolfgang, I know you listen. Buddy.
If you make it to this point, shout out to Wolfgang.
Give us a tally in the chat or in the comments.
You know who's got the most kills.
Like, like, help us out here. Like somebody needs to start
taking notes. I'm taking notes, just not those
notes with everybody. Thank you so much for listening

(01:53:26):
to another session here in Nectrovon.
More bullshittery going on with Theo and Monsters in the Dark.
If you're wondering how come this never happened before, you
should come check out our telegram.

in the conversation and you willhear the song Welcome to
Necroman, where the lyrics very specifically sedate.
This is not a friendly land. With that, my swampy, chewed up,

(01:54:08):
slashed up, grappled heroes. Say goodnight to the good
listeners. Goodnight listeners, may your
swamps be less stinky than me. Yeah, yeah, goodnight.
No stink. And don't follow the shiny
lights. Raise bark, everybody.
We're bringing bark to the dark lands of the Krovin.

(01:54:30):
As they say. As they say in Divinity Original
Sin, I'll feel your shiny lights.
Oh no. I don't know that reference.
What was that? That sounds like parody to me.
Thank, thank you everybody for listening.
We very, very much appreciate it.
As mud says, hop into the the the discord here or hop over in

(01:54:53):
the TG. You can find those links on our
website and for sure you know, if you join in the community,
there is a strong chance of you joining in a game, playing a
game with us and becoming part of the podcast.
You know, gaming with friends, real gamers, real playing and
you know, real fun community. Come on in the.

(01:55:15):
Water's fine. And see, I think you cut off say
good night to a lot of folks. Good night folks.
Goodbye. With whatever things got going
on there's there's multiple, multiple stories afoot with that
mud. I'm the one who's the bad guy.

(01:55:37):
Always remember the DM is the back out with that.
Good night everybody. Bye bye.
Thanks Bark. Right in the water when daylight

(01:56:21):
is gone, fossil lights in the distance, golden wind, wind.
Run, run, run, run where the dead don't sleep.

(01:56:43):
Now you're in a crawl away all may we learn a crawl way.
Welcome both face with claws and teeth.

(01:57:19):
Whispers and shadows steal your sleeve, scratching talons in the
dark. Heroes dragged away to beat all

(01:57:40):
apart. Where the living can't sleep.
Now you're in that crowd. God, you're so too key.

(01:58:02):
And now you're in that crowd. Welcome.
Still, you can heal, and heal you can.

(01:58:28):
The night will lower you and will be swearing you.
You rows. The counts will take their
fingers head, you lay straight. Now you're in a crawl, man, when

(01:59:37):
none can sleep the where you're saucing, Steve.

(02:00:03):
Now you're in the crawlers. Welcome back.
Come back. Welcome.
Welcome, Welcome. Welcome.
Welcome. Welcome.
Welcome. Welcome, welcome.
