(03:05):
Sense DNS D 721 podcast. Tonight we are doing another
arena battle in the Grand Australian Arena.
I am the host and DM tonight. Yes.
What is letting me do it it do it yet again?
I guess I did OK last time. I will be DM ING tonight.
I've got some really special, fun, hard hitting awesomeness in

(03:28):
store for these poor unfortunatesouls that we have here today.
Speaking of which, poor unfortunate souls would you guys
like to say hello? In no particular order.
What up? What up?
Waldo here, Aldo McCoy playing INR.
He is a level 4 fighter, level 1Monk, Goliath.

(03:51):
And yeah, I think we're going tobring some pain tonight.
Let's go. Yeah, man.
And then we also have Tolchien. This is Tolton.
I am playing Garrick Flame Cleaver tonight.
He is a level 5 Whorven Barbarian.

(04:11):
Ho. Ho all right.
And then we also have Barkoshi in the house.
Hello everyone I am. Barkoshi playing with Brucean
Moonshade, a simple monk but with huge ambition.
A lot of familiar faces. Then we also finally, last but

(04:33):
not least. Yes, it's only four people
today, but the last of the poor unfortunate souls would be Mr.
Cryptotherapist. Yep, cryptotherapist act, with
another exciting addition here, playing Saul again.
Better Call Saul, as his friendsaffectionately call him, and
he's got a few more tricks up his sleeve this time.

(04:54):
So Lookout sponsors. Yes, sponsors, we we have quite
a few of those this time. All right, last time in the
arena, you guys fought pretty well.
Let's see how that goes. This time we are trading out
Wawa Skittles for Tolton, so a Dragonborn for a dwarf.

(05:16):
Let's do this. All of this is about to happen
is a is applying to all of you guys simultaneously at you know,
like you guys, this is all of you at the same time all right,
you suddenly wake up to a brightflash of blue light.
That's right, you think to yourself, the dark elf clerics

(05:36):
are of the Ashfelian Arena have brought me back.
The last thing you remember at this point, I'd like each of you
guys to roll AD 6 please. I know it rolls A5 that is a
three from Dalton A2 for reversehand, not one for SO.
There's no Nat one and this, well, I guess maybe.

(05:59):
All right, that's cool. None of you guys copied each
other. All right.
So, Garrick Flame Cleaver. You're sitting in your chair.
The blue light flashes over yourface.
You you open your eyes and you see the clear cleric, you know,
glaring down at you. The last thing you remember was
a goblin running across a field and putting an axe right in the

(06:24):
middle of your face and everything went black.
Stall. The last thing you remember when
you wake up, just a deep black coal surrounded by a giant.
You know, rows of teeth as it clomped or chomped down on you,
and then it went all black. It's the last thing you
remember, Einar. Einar.

(06:46):
You took an arrow to the knee and it got infected and you went
and everything went black. Rebrusian.
The last thing you will rememberis you were standing there, you
had just knocked down an enemy and boom, a bright purple flash
of an eldritch blast just ignites around you and

(07:07):
everything goes super bright andthen black.
And you are all awakened by the blue light of the Ashfelian
clerics, the dark elf clerics. They do their final checks over
you and they clear you. And an attendant, a group of
attendants come to you and brings you all to your cells,

(07:28):
Your, your, your holding cell. And they set you down and say,
all right, you know, sit here, wait, sleep, do whatever.
I don't care. In a cell with you is well, the
rest of you, you know, so you guys get all put into the same
holding cell. Do you guys have anything you
want to say to each other? You kind of alone in a cell,

(07:49):
just a a guard off to the side, kind of keeping an eye on a
bunch of different cells and it's dark dank area.
Is the guard a draw thrall elf? The black dark elves, Yes, the
guard is a dark elf. You know, I just say, you know,
wild off the hand comment about how bad dark elves are and who

(08:13):
would ever use them as guards. They're the worst.
This guard kind of smirks, takesa pen and puts a little jot on a
piece of paper. INR's laughing at his comment,
Garrick does one ups him and insults the drow and orc, saying
that it's the only language worthy of speaking to drow with.

(08:38):
That the guards just sitting there putting tick marks.
I don't understand the orcas that I laugh at.
It is. That it einar gives.
Einar gives saw and rub a high 5and nods at Garrick and says
let's do this, I'd like to intimidate the guard.

(09:03):
OK, how would you like to intimidate the guard?
As the guard, assuming they're walking around or pacing or
something. If they're if they're near, if
they're near my cell at all, I'dlike to rush the bars.
Oh no, they're sitting at a table.
That's a 22 for intimidation. You rush the bars.

(09:25):
You you startle he he jumps up like freaks out for a second and
sees that the you know, walks over and sees that the door is
still nice and latched. The bars are still nice and
latched. You get a smirk and he goes down
and he sits back down to his table and jots down to tick
marks. I last see at the the towers

(09:48):
dared of people laughed in cages.
All right. If if he gets up from his desk
again and he's looking away fromit, I'm going to cast mage hand
and and have it steal his pen and Chuck it down the hallway.
Oh, oh, OK, let's, let's, let's,let's, let's explore that a

(10:09):
little bit, yes? He gets up and walks away.
Would you like to use Maid's hand?
Yeah, I'm going to. Chest maid's hand and as long as
he's not kind of looking in any direction it would see me or the
hand. I'll have the hand pick up the
pen and like, hide it somewhere.Nothing happens.

(10:30):
You you do an arcana check, do an arcana check.
I have no idea what's going on that one.
Yep, you have no idea why, but for some reason, try as you
might, you know to force your magic out and nothing happens.
You don't even feel the connection to it right now.
Trying to see where the guard went, Garrett walks up to the

(10:51):
the the door of his cage and puts his hands on it and leans
forward as if to peer. Out.
As you do that, the guard comes back with, you know, a couple
more guards in attendance and they bring you to their to your
individual cells. They spent the time to clean

(11:13):
them. You guys get to go to sleep?
How big are these cells 5. By 5.
OK yeah, In it is a bed and a bucket and that's it.
You guys are in the cells and the night carries on.
You guys go to sleep the next day happens.

(11:33):
All of a sudden the guards are clanging on your doors.
They unlock them one by one and they they line you guys up in
the hallway and you guys are walked along the underground
corridor. You guys hear crowds roaring and
and you know, roaring animal noises, you know, like random
beastial noises coming from all around you throughout the what

(11:57):
seems to be this underground area.
And they're walking you towards an underground staging area with
several elevators and handlers and and weapons racks and, and
this is where you guys get all of your items before you guys
know this that this is where youget all the items before you go
up to the arena. They kit you out with your pre

(12:19):
prescribed kits and shuffle you towards an elevator door, a lift
door. Can I get a perception check
from one of you guys? Doesn't matter who.
Who? All right, I'll take that.
I'll take both of those 30. 20. OK.
Yeah, take the 20s. OK, so Einar and Garrick, you

(12:42):
guys are kind of being jostled around and you're looking
elsewhere. You just happen to be looking
elsewhere. Rubbishian and Saul, you guys
you know are looking out to the staging area and across it a
couple a couple gates down you see two large dire wolves on

(13:02):
chains and they are snapping andsnarling and there's a group of
dark elf animal handlers and beastmasters coaxing them into
an elevator. One of one of the direwolves
lashes out and you know, rips the arm off of 1 of the
handlers, you know just wild beast stuff.
As that happens you guys get shoved into the elevator.

(13:24):
All right, so the elevator, the lift door closes.
You hear mechanical clanking as the floor suddenly pulls you up
and you know for probably a good5-10 minutes you guys are going
up. I believe you guys can take this
time to prepare because you knowthat as soon as you get up there
that Cate is going to open. Yeah.

(13:46):
Now I'll I'll apply this oil here as we're.
All right. Yeah, let's do it.
Garrett will apply his oil. There's.
Describe what you're applying. Yeah.
Yeah, those of you who are applying this oil, please one of
you at least read the the description there for what it is

(14:07):
or the applicable part of it. Would you like to or I can if
you don't want to? Yeah, you could do it.
You could do it. So we are applying the oil of
slipperiness 1 of aisle of this oil can cover 1 medium or
smaller creature along with its equipment and it applies.

(14:28):
It takes 10 minutes and once we do it, we have freedom of
movement for 8 hours. Meaning that for the target
duration our movement is unaffected by difficult terrain
and spells and other effects canneither reduce our speed nor
cause us to be paralyzed or restrained.

(14:49):
We can also spend 5 minutes of movement to automatically escape
non magical restraints such as manacles or grapples.
Oh. I can't believe I'll let you
guys have that. I'll take it.
Yeah. So you guys apply this oil?
And thank you to the anonymous donor for those.

(15:12):
Yes, that was a sponsored, sponsored item from an anonymous
donor. Very cool.
Big shut up. Big shut up.
Thank you. So, yes, all right.
Back. Since two of us have this, we
could lather each other up. Just saying.
I was going to offer, but Garrett was unsure how to how to

(15:35):
bring that about. He's not very charismatic, so he
just. I'm.
Very charismatic. So I'll I'll make the first
move. I and our shrugs and was like
it's getting kinky in there. OK, the the elevator stops, the

(15:56):
doors open as Einar and as Garrick and Rabushi and are, you
know, oiling each other's chestsup.
You know, the doors are just wide open.
Doors are open. With that, I'd like you guys
just to launch the map here. I just click start not having a

(16:21):
fade to black scene at the beginning of this arena.
I would like to add I didn't I didn't read it because I didn't
think it would come into play. But freedom of movement also
means being underwater imposes no penalty to the target's
movements or attacks. I see a river.
You don't think I know this? The listeners don't know this.

(16:44):
Oh yes. So there were about two GS.
As the door swings open, you seethis dirty kind of decayed
ground, a lot of forest trees, like it's, you know, not thickly
forested, but you know, a few copses trees here and there

(17:06):
throughout it. As you step out, yes, you notice
that there is a river running water in it, you know, river
running across this forested map.
It's not. Believe and the for rain looking
for like any noticeable traps orambush slots.

(17:26):
So you would like to Yeah, before we get to that, let's
let's roll initiative, Yeah. Yeah.
So if you guys would roll initiative.
That's a mighty 10 for Garrett, right in the middle where he
feels right now. OK, Einhart got a 14 Brucey and

(17:47):
a 15. OK.
Saul 11. OK, not bad.
Kind of middle of the road. It's kind of it's it's better
than going everybody going firstor but with you guys entering,
as you guys enter and look around, you hear like a tap tap
like somebody tapping a microphone and says check, all

(18:09):
right. And you hear a booming voice.
Welcome everybody again to the Grand Ash Fillion Arena.
I am Bonobo Relief Freeze assistant here again to put you
all through your paces. We have a special arena today
inspired by the dark druids fromthe deep Grove here in Mirkholm.

(18:32):
A round of applesauce for them. Reliefy face palms and says it's
applause, you idiot. Ah, sorry.
Well, well, let's get ready to tumble and reliefy face palms
again, OK? First up in the turn order is
Rybrushian with a 15. Yeah.

(18:57):
So as we step out, I. Kind of want.
To get in the area looking for any kind of obvious traps, kind
of like. Leaves.
Covered on the ground where we're going to fall in or like
RIP wires or even like higher vantage point spots to be
ambushed from. Well, you, you see these trees

(19:18):
and, and they're about, you know, 20 foot tall, you know,
kind of the, the top height is to, you know, 20 or 30 foot some
of the trees. And you know, you, you look over
at the river, you don't see anything in your immediate area.
You don't really see many leaveson the ground, you know, just

(19:40):
some dried twigs and stones and and you know, light brush.
No. Like you know, fresh, fresh dirt
looking place there compared to the other areas.
Oh, you don't. You do not see any of that.
All right, well and not seeing any real threat either.

(20:05):
Let me just kind of see and see which ones me right there.
All right. I'm just going to walk down to
the river edge, OK? Here, OK, Kind of look down the
bank line and see what I can see.
All right, well, with that, let me do something here, OK, Down

(20:29):
the river, you don't really see much, but as your eyes scan, you
see at the, you know, kind of it, like at a little like Eddy
or what it be called, not quite a Bay, but like a little inlet
of the river. You see an owl bear, owl bear
just kind of hanging out, chilling, doing what owl bears

(20:50):
do, munching on. Bones, I'm guessing we're
fighting a lot of different animals.
And yeah, what would you like todo?
And I think I'm just gonna Ashley, you know, trying to
stay, not to draw attention fromthe owl bear and make my way.

(21:15):
How, you know, is this rough terrain?
Am I like negative movement cause of the train or anything?
No, no, it's by by brush, I meanlike flowers, not so much
flowers, but like little tall grass and and and, you know,
kind of little little plants. I don't mean like bushes in the
way the trees that are on the map are in fact trees.

(21:39):
So, yeah, OK. OK, then I'm going to use the
rest of my movement. I used and I walked down to the
river and river's bed and then walking down I got 30 more feet
down and this year. OK, give me a perception check
please. 28 Natural, 20. Nat 20.

(22:04):
Nat freaking 20. I mean, either way, I'm very,
you see it. You see it tangled up in the
trees next to you, to the east of you, there is a knot of like,
like one of those. You ever seen the Anaconda blood
orchard? I'm not quite sure what they're
called when you get like a swarmof snakes that are just, it's a

(22:26):
giant ball of snakes that the, you know, the mating ball of
snakes. Or like when they rain down in
the Amazon out to trees. Yeah, yeah, there's basically a
a large swarm of venomous snakesup in the tree there.
You hear the hissing, very perceptive.
You hear the hissing and and yousee them.

(22:48):
OK, then for my bonus action, I'm going to use Depth of the
Wind, and I'm not going to use afocus point, so it's just going
to let me take my dash action asa bonus accent and I'm going to
run up to the snake. OK.
And I'm going to punch them. OK.

(23:14):
All right, go ahead, I'll. Go about punch for unarmed
attack. Yeah, and I got a. 22.
You hit roll. Your damage, 7 damage and then
I'm going to take. Since I attacked unarmed, I get
to attack again. Yeah.

(23:34):
And that's a Nat 2026. Total.
Get out of here. It hits.
I would like to also. So this is a sponsor I'd like
to. I thought it would have a better
introduction, but this is our first sponsor of the evening
that you ran across. Thank Wawa Skittles for this

(23:55):
swarm of venomous snakes she wanted to send at at her
husband. There we go.
All right, Yeah. So print damage of 13.
Good. Yeah.
For a total of 20. 13 for a total of 20.

(24:17):
Yeah, yeah, He you done, you done, You know, knocked a few of
them snakes out. I don't like snakes and that
will be my turn. Joke's on her, I'm resistant to
poison. Yeah, I know that will be you up
next. All right, Einer kind of looks

(24:38):
around at the crowd and he he takes his arm out and he stick,
he sticks his thumb in his mouthand he starts blowing on it and
he uses his bonus action to go large 14 feet.
Nice. All right.
Yep. And.

(24:59):
Then so you are large. I am large, so I'm going to take
this guy and I'm going to run right over here by this tree,
take a couple steps and I'm going to look around and see
what I see. OK.

(25:19):
Are you looking at anything specific or?
I'm looking in the water and what's across the water and just
basically looking all around me.Kind of, I suppose.
I suppose give me a perception check if you're looking at the
water. I suppose that's what it would

(25:39):
be. Yeah, the perception check.
I got an. Eight.
OK, well you notice that the water, you know, nice and clear
blue, like a clean water with a dark brown sandy bottom.
How deep is it? Give me You would have to give

(25:59):
me an investigation check for that.
And this would be your bonus. Well, you used.
No, I, I that was a forced perception trick.
Yeah, free action. Give me a an investigation
check. I got A7.
Doesn't look too deep. It doesn't look too deep.

(26:20):
All right, you. You you feel you could probably
you definitely, but you feel like you could probably easily
walk across it. OK, I think I'm going to use my.
I'm going to, I'm going to come up here a little bit.
Well, let me grab my guy. Sorry.
I'm going to come up to about right here where I can see that
owl. Yeah.

(26:41):
I'm going to take a shot at it. Oh OK with my short.
Bow. Let me see if.
Let me see. OK.
Yeah. You got a clue?
Line of sight. You're not going to hit that
tree. OK?
I'm not standing up pretty tight.
Just don't roll in that one. Oh, that tree is pretty high.
That's probably one of the taller ones.
That's about a 40 or 50 foot tree.

(27:03):
That gnarly one in the middle. Yeah, gotcha, gotcha.
Actually, it's 40 foot tall roughly.
Is it like the only tree that's 40 foot tall in there?
No, there's there's a couple that come close, but it is the
tallest tree. OK, I'm still going to take a
shot at the owl. All right, here we go.
OK. I got an 18 + 9 for a 27.

(27:28):
Put these rolls, guys. 27 that hits.
I can't even pretend it doesn't tease.
OK, I got a A9 damage. OK, nine damage it is.
OK, there you go. So you use your bonus action to

(27:48):
grow large, your movement to rundown, and your action to shoot
at a poor innocent little owl bear.
You monster. Is that all you have for your
turn? That's all.
I got Oh my goodness. The, the, the, the arrow shoots
through the air, whizzes throughthe the low hanging branches of

(28:11):
this tree and it strikes the owlbell right in the side and you
hear this like Yelp, almost likea dog that's been kicked.
That's your turn. Next up is Saul.
It is your turn. All right, I will stay where I'm
at and I will do bonus action N 8.

(28:33):
So what's the name? So the N8 magic gives you a plus
1/2 DC saves for sorcerer's spells, and I have advantage on
attack rolls of sorcery. Sorcerer's spells, Well, that I
cast. Cool, yeah.
And that's an and that's an action or a bonus action.

(28:54):
That's a bonus action. OK.
For my action, I will cast Sorcerer Sorcerer's Burst at the
snakes. OK, go ahead and shoot your
attack roll or IS. It a but this is now I have yes,
it's an attack roll. So now I have advantage for the
next one minute. Yep.

(29:16):
Or 10 rounds. OK, I got 21 and 25.
I'll take the 25I. I would to either one of those
hits OK. I will do, I will do lightning
damage and oh nice not only is it 15 damage but I also get to

(29:39):
re roll one of the eights so allthat is just shit.
Oh my gosh another 8. So what are we up to now?
15 + 8. Man lot.
You're hurting my guys. It's 23 so far and it's an 8 so
I get to re roll again. How many times can you re roll

(30:00):
over the 8? Is it any anytime?
Up to your not anytime, but it'sup to your I believe proficiency
bond. I still take either that or
your. No, it's your spell casting
modifier. So Mike just would be +4.
OK. So that's, yeah.

(30:20):
So that's a total of 25. Yeah, alrighty, cool, very good
turn. The crowd begins watching guys
and lose either they're seeing the magic start to fly.
They saw that crossbow bolt going, they saw Rebushian
punching a ball of snakes and they are cheering.

(30:41):
They are on your side for this. So far.
So far. All right, I'll.
I'll try to pump up the crowd again and then that'll be it for
my turn. I'll.
Let you know if you're losing them and what that would mean.
All right, so that's it for yourturn.
All right, Einar, can I get a perception check?

(31:02):
Yes Sir, Oh my perception Today I rolled an 8.
Yeah, no, just nice and quiet forest.
You hear a bunch of snakes hissing in the back behind you
or off to your off to your rightand behind you as Saul through
his sorcerer's bolt. All right, Garrick, it is your

(31:23):
turn. What would you like to do, good
Sir? All right, well, Garrick sees
reversion punching up into the tree, and you know I'm going to
go where the action is. So I'm going to use 25 feet of

(31:47):
movement to get to the tree, or 20.7 feet of movement.
To the 25, yeah, you could use your 25.
And. Trying to decide if I want a
rage or not. You know what the song says,
right? Always be raging, All right,
Screw it. I'm going to.

(32:07):
I'm going to look up and say those, those bastard snakes.
I hate snakes and and Garrick isgoing to start raging.
And. I would like to climb the tree
to get up there to attack them. OK, give me a athletics check.

(32:28):
So I am raging. So I believe I do athletics with
advantage, correct? Yes, it is a strength based yes
with with the rage it it appliestowards that's something that
Pebble doesn't do it nearly enough.
It doesn't apply that is that. That is a dirty 20.
Dirty 20. All right, Yeah.
You climb up there, get right upthere next to the snakes.

(32:51):
And I am going to swing my vicious great sword at Flamma.
And that and I will say as far as as far as height, just to
kind of explain they weren't up in the top of the tree that they
they were like it, you know, like coiled around the lowest
branches like probably a good like 6 foot up 7.
Garrick. Garrick is a short dwarf.

(33:12):
Yeah, yeah. And a 20, so it's. 23 to hit, so
damage will be 10 plus my strength modifier 'cause I'm
raging, so 13 damage. Oh rage, I thought it was a + 2.
Oh yes, +2 so 12 damage. Yes.

(33:34):
And. All right.
I believe I have two attacked. Oh also I forgot I raged.
So because I am a barbarian of the path of the World Tree, I
tap into the life force of that tree and gain 510 pit points.
Yes. I do that before I forget.

(33:58):
Yeah, add your add your temp hitpoints if you the bearing of the
tree. In a tree.
Path of bark. I'm going to use my second
attack. OK.
That is an 8. That misses.
OK. Just barely, but that misses.

(34:22):
Oof, oof. And and is there anything else
you would like to do with your turn?
Is there anything else you can do with your turn?
No. Then I believe that it's all so
Garrett will, you know, use his bonus action to just egg on the
crowd. You use your bonus action to
rage free. Action Egg on the.

(34:43):
Crowd is always a free action. There you go, I'll egg on the
crowd at the free action. OK, what do you shout?
And keep in mind, just like the last arena in the difficult for
them to see areas, there are these invisible little magic
mites around that provide like asort of holographic camera view
that that hovers over the the the arena so that they can see

(35:07):
all the action as it's happening, so they can see you.
Garrick Garrett yells. This is what you locked me up.
For. Fighting snakes and trees, they
all Boo. Romeo, roll me a I'll be fair.
Roll me a performance check. That is a 17.

(35:28):
They all cheer. That's the way we'll do it.
Every round you get a free action to address the crowd.
You want them on your side. They are on your side at this
moment for this turn. OK.
And with that, it is the swarm of venomous snakes.
Turn. They are not happy right now.

(35:52):
I will say that they are going to take a bite attack Rabushian.
Rabushian did some massive damage to them and interrupted
their fucking so yeah. Oh man, I'm a bad guy.
You guys are just walking into this forest, attacking these

(36:14):
random, you know, wildlife like, jeez, Pete is going to be up
your butts, all right? We are hungry.
That's what I was thinking when I seen the direwolves.
Does a does a 22 hit? Unfortunately, yes.
OK so you take 8 bite damage and10 poison damage.

(36:40):
What is bite damage considered? Piercing Sorry Piercing damage 8
piercing and 10 poison. OK, I'm going.
To and you are poisoned. I am going to deflect the
piercing damage, so I'm going toroll.
I roll A1 D 10 + 8 and I can nullify that damage.

(37:05):
OK. Well, OK, since I negate that
damage down to 0, take 10, yeah. And our poison.
Yeah, let me go ahead and do that.
Just to remind you, and that gives you disadvantage on attack
rolls I believe is what it is. Attack rolls and ability checks.

(37:29):
Attack rolls and ability checks.Thank you.
Yeah. OK.
Until you get that poison cleared with some sort of
restorative spell or concoction.OK fair enough, and I'm going to
redirect their attack now since I took the damage down to 0 and
now I can do 2D2 D 8 + 3 damage to anything within 5 feet to me,

(37:56):
so I'm going to redirect it backat snakes.
I'm going to, based on the nature of this battle, allow
teeth and claw attacks to be deflected.
OK. I think that's like, for the
kind of encounter you made a a natural weapon attack.
OK, That's the way we'll rule it.

(38:18):
OK. You took 18 damage from the hit,
used deflect attack, I believe it's called, and reduced it by
12. Yeah.
So you can't, you did not redirect it because it didn't go
down to 0. So you take 6 damage from that
and then poison and you're poisoned.

(38:40):
You have the poisoned condition.Yes.
And that was the snake's turn. Yeah.
They're they're pissed. You you interrupted their their
go juice time. OK.
Well, they're about to get even more angry.

(39:01):
Yeah, right. With that, it is the owl bear's
turn, and this guy is furious. He is going to run, run across.
He saw Einar. He's going to run across and use
the last bit of his his movement, leap across the river

(39:25):
and attack Einar with Rend. All right, here we go with one
of the bigger guys does a 14 hit.
No. OK, he he is taking his second
attack, does a 23 hit. And 23 hits.

(39:48):
OK, you take 14 damage and that will end his turn.
Ouch. You guys let me get.
Perception check from you guys when Bruce ain't got a 20.
You're got a 15. With those, those are those are

(40:12):
all good enough. You guys are you guys hear some
snarling and howling kind of muffled in the distance or not
quite distance. I wouldn't say distance, but
yeah, you guys hear some muffledhowls and muffled, you know,
scratching and and rustling. We tell that from what

(40:34):
direction. With some of them rolls from the
northeast, I'd say they're. Trying to surround us.
All right. You.
All righty. So top of the turn order, sort
of. We go to Rabushian.

(40:57):
It is your turn, good Sir. Would you like to kill a snake?
Yes, yes, Sir, I would. I would like to kill.
These and try these certain and try.
I don't want. These.
Snakes on my plane. So yeah, I'm going to take my

(41:19):
main action and just attack them.
There you go. There's a 15 hit.
You guys in these rule roles, let me check.
I believe it does. Yes, it does.
Yes, unfortunately it does. So it takes only four
bludgeoning damage and I'm gonnado my second attack now.

(41:45):
OK? Oof.
Does a 10 hit. It does not.
Good Sir, You, you strike reallyrapid succession, boom, boom
with your fists. Your first one connects the meat
of the snakes, kind of pops out one from another and and he

(42:05):
goes, hey, what the fuck? And your second hit just, you
know, whiffs real big, goes kindof through a loop in it, you
know, like a hole that's there doesn't hit any snakes.
Yeah. OK.
Then with my. Bonus action, I'm just going to
do an unarmed strike on it, OK, and a 15.

(42:30):
A 15 hits again. Mile big damage and 10s Oh my.
Oh well, I hit the wrong damage but it's it's a hits furry of
blows but they're all the same dice.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I I see that. All right.
These snakes are looking pretty fucked up.

(42:51):
Let me tell you what is there and anything else you would like
to do with your turn. You still have movement.
Yeah, that's. The end of my turn, then.
Yeah, all righty. Yes, it is.
It is INAR next. All right.

(43:12):
So. I did hit him with my short.
Bow and I forgot to tell you. That he was vexed.
So basically if I had a creaturewith a short bow and deal damage
to the creature, I have advantage on my next attack roll
against that creature before theend of my next turn.
So. OK, OK, so you roll with

(43:33):
advantage on this one? So for my bonus action, I'm
going to switch out my short bowfor my Vicious great sword.
OK. And then I'm going to take a
good two handed swing at him. OK.

(43:54):
Oh. No.
You rolled a what now? I rolled A1.
On that one. That's that's a Nat one.
And I got a + 6 for. I don't care about the +6, you
rolled a Nat one. Oh, what?
Evil punishment. Oh my goodness.

(44:17):
Yeah. You swing the sword and the owl
bear puts up its claw and deflects it much it much like
Rabruchian was trying to do, andit bounces the sword back.
Roll me the damage that that sword would do or what is what

(44:40):
is the what is the dice that that was supposed to be as a 2D6
OK, roll me two D6. +3. Just roll me two D6 please.
OK. You're not putting your force
into it, so you you're not goingto be adding your.
It's just the base damage of theweapon.
Hello. OK, I got a six.

(45:01):
OK, you take 6 damage. OK, I I'm going to do something
else. Who are we?
I got. That, that, that, that.
That that pissed me off there, so I'm going.
To go ahead and. Use my use my accent action
surge. So you know what?

(45:22):
I didn't. I didn't roll that with
advantage. Oh, you did not.
OK, let's wreck on that roll. Roll again.
Let's see. Yes, to add your 6 back, because
if you roll another Nat one, I'mgoing to do it to you twice in a
row. Just don't roll a Nat. 1.
Takes that 6 back again buddy. Oh.

(45:43):
No, I'm scared. I'm nervous.
Don't worry. Not ones make the best stories.
Yes, the best. Plan 24.
Yes, that show it's boy Yeah, that hits.

(46:05):
Go ahead and roll that beautifulbeam.
OK, I got a tent damage that time, yes.
The owl bear screeches as you slice at this thing with this
vicious great sword. The the crowd is, they love to
see this. You know, they were a bit, they
were a bit, you know, seemingly upset with the crossbow, but you

(46:28):
won them over with that and you won them over with this one.
All right, I'm going to do it again.
I'm going to go ahead and use that extra action surge.
Action surge, he says. Accent surge.
Let's see, where'd it go, OK? Yes, remember I get advantage.
OK, I do roll with the. Advantage even.

(46:49):
Wait, no, that was your just. That was your just your next
attack, right? I think so, yeah.
So I don't. Think I OK?
Yeah, no, roll it flat. OK she's rolling man.
I thought it was a one again butit's a 7 so I got a 13.
Does a 13 hit. A 13 does it meets, it beats it.
Yes, it hits. Sweet, we give him another 10.

(47:14):
Another 10. Another. 10 I could take it.
So yeah, Einer's kind of wantingto look this, this creature up
and down for any, any weaknessesor or or, you know, how big is
this thing? It's huge.
It is. Oh, what would I say it's it's

(47:35):
about the size of large like grizzly bear and it's it's like
half. It's a bear shaped owl.
Basically think like an owl, butmassive and and bear like like a
big old grizzly bear probably. But what would you say?
1500 lbs Kind of hulking, reaching feathered monstrosity

(47:58):
beast. So I'm, I mean, am I bigger than
him or is he bigger than me? Well, he's bigger than you.
I am 14 foot tall. Yeah, well, you, you're taller
than him, but he's bulkier aboutgirth's man Girth.
What do you want to get into a Dick measuring contest with this
thing? What?
I'm just. Trying to figure out what my

(48:20):
next move's going to be here, brother.
Yeah. You both have you're, you're
taller, he's bulkier, you know, but you guys are both a large,
you know, large, larger creatures.
OK, so so Einhardn kind of for his free action, he kind of does
like the height measuring and looks down at him and looks at

(48:41):
the crowd and does a thumbs down.
Towards throw me a throw me AII forgot to do this.
Don't let me forget to do your Don't forget to do some
performance checks just to see how the crowds are reacting to
you guys. Go ahead, throw me a performance
check. All right, 19.
Crowds loving you. -118. Proud's loving ya, your ID

(49:06):
Anything else you'd like to do on your turn or is that it?
I believe and. Kind of yell over at Grab and
say I got a big one over here. OK.
I'm trying to get over there, just trying to finish these
things up. Let me get another from Garrick.
You guys are welcome. So we're going to get the
another. Perception check, it's an 11

(49:29):
from Garrett thing for Rubrusiant.
OK. 8 and saw 16 for INR. OK, you guys hear, well INR you,
you hear some clanking coming out from the from the distance
like mechanical gears turning and yeah, out UPS a direwolf

(49:59):
coming out of a dark open gate in the wall of the arena.
Einar. Immediately yells and points to
the wolf. OK, All right, He says.
Wolf is going. It is going to this one is going
to run at the very first thing it sees at Derrick Flame

(50:22):
Cleaver. That's up in a tree and it is,
I'd say its head is at about 7 feet.
So it is at nice chomping distance for the these low
hanging branches that you guys are all fighting around and it
is going to take an attack at Garrick.

(50:42):
Give us a luck check for that. No, I'm kidding.
A luck check? No, you're the first thing it
sees as it comes out. No, I meant for the height of
the wolf. Oh, no, it's a it's a it's a a
large beast. I'm joking.

(51:02):
All right, if one of those ally,I wonder would you guys consider
the swarm of venomous snakes? It's ally.
Nah, all right, I'm going to does a 21.
Hit yes. OK.
What kind of damage? Piercing.

(51:24):
OK. OK, it you take 8 damage halved
to four, I believe you're raging.
Yep. So that'll.
Drop my temp. Hit points down to 1.
OK. And if the target is large or
smaller creature, it has the prone condition.

(51:44):
It pulls you out of this. This wolf comes out of this
gate, locks eyes right on your backside, it runs up and it
bites. It snatches you right from the
backside from the ass. It grabs your ass and Yanks you
out the tree and drops you on the ground in front of it.
You are in the prone condition. Garrett just hits the ground and

(52:07):
goes. I don't, I don't have AI, don't
have a comeback for a wolf pulling me out of a tree and all
right. That is it's turn.
I would say Saul, Mr. Nero, you are next all.
Right, I'm going to try the samething I did last time.

(52:28):
Got to really take those snakes out.
So I'm going to. The snakes look pretty hurt from
where I'm at. The snakes look pretty hurt.
Yes, I'm. Going to shoot the snakes OK
with the sorcerer's burst and and Crucial's 11.

(52:49):
And 11 I don't believe was goingto do it.
I'll take the 11. Oh.
Because of it. That's with advantage.
So it's I'll take the 11:00 so the 11 misses.
What was the other one? We don't need to say because
thankfully advantage helps is not.
Happy to say yes. There you go.

(53:14):
All right. Yeah.
You still miss though. Let's see.
OK, well, let's try this instead.
I'll do a bonus action multicast11 and oh, nineteen.
That should work. A 19.
Hits right on some 8. Come on, let's see 086 points in

(53:35):
lightning damage. Oof.
These guys are hurting, right? I'm assuming that's your turn,
yeah. That's all I can do.
OK, these guys are really, really hurting.
They're they're in at death's doorstep.
All right, good turn. Do you have anything you want to

(53:58):
roll a performance check to the to the crowd you ever want to
say to them? Yeah, I can.
I can easonite performance. Let's see, hopefully. 80 man
yeah, they they really wanted tosee those snakes fry, and you
did not kill them. I just shout out next time, next
time. All right, they are not happy

(54:18):
with you moving on. I would like Aynar to No, you
don't have to do anything. This this right here.
All of a sudden, Aynar, you see this movement in the water next
to you and all of a sudden the waters are rippling.
The the you know, start splashing as if some massive,

(54:40):
massive creature is in this in this water and appears a giant
Stingray that is right there been eyeballing you this whole
time in this shallow water and it is going to take an attack at
you. I would like to introduce

(55:02):
another one of the sponsters. Yes, this was from Adam.
He decided to throw a sponsor atyou guys, and he is super
psyched to hear how this thing does.
I'm kind of proud of this one, too.
So it's going to take its attack.

(55:22):
Oh, I know you're in trouble. Oh, do you have all your hit
points? I'm not going to worry about
that. I got a few.
Thank you, Adam, by the way. Yes, this is going to be, this
is going to be nuts, all right. Here we go.
Does a 23 hit. A.
Yes it does. OK, the.

(55:46):
Arms are rolling high. You take 10 damage and can you
give me a Constitution saving throw please?
About a dirty 20. That'll that'll do it.
That'll do it. OK, You you save from something.

(56:09):
Oh, but this thing does happen, a second attack.
So let's see. Do the 25 hit?
Yes. It's all again.
You take 8 more damage and roll another constitution save.
Please does. That 15 do it.

(56:32):
Yes, Sir, it does. You, you, you saved.
Be proud. Woof, this is this is a beefy,
beefy battle guys, but you guys hit just as hard.
All right, all right. With that, that is the end of
the giant stingray's turn, and it brings it to lying on the

(56:54):
ground in the middle of the arena in the middle of the of a
battle. Garrick, what would you like to
do? You are prone.
First things at first, I am going to go ahead because
reversion is next to me. I am going to grant him 2D6
temporary hit points due to being vitality of the tree

(57:19):
berserker or a tree half of the tree the barbarian.
Yeah, half of the path of bark is what I'm calling it.
So go ahead reversing. Give yourself 11 temporary hit
points. Thank you.

(57:40):
Sir, thank you. As as Garrick stands up, I'm
going to look at reversing and say go help INR I can handle
these and try try to get try to get him away from the water
until we can deal with that thing as a group.

(58:05):
And I'm going to swing at the snakes.
OK. That is a 12 to hit.
That does not hit. I will use graze.
If you're a technical with a great sword misses you can deal
damage equal to the ability modifier used to make the
attack. That would be my strength, which

(58:27):
is 3. So you do three more damage to
them. Yep, and I forgot to do that
earlier when I missed what? That's so long ago.
Oh. OK, well I'll I'll tell you
this. They had four hit points.
So with that one from Grace fromearlier, tell me how you
finished them. I.

(58:48):
Sliced the branch of the tree and because it.
Didn't cut. Cleanly, I knocked the branch
and the snakes get scattered andall across the arena in the
direction of the wolf. The wolf gobbles them up.
They they are no longer a a. Swarm, Yeah, they are no longer

(59:10):
alive. And then removes that body from
the from the floor. I'm going.
To go ahead and turn to the wolf, what's?
Up. And I'm going to go ahead and
swing my great sword at it again.
I love, I love having one thing that's a 23 to hit. 23 hits.

(59:36):
I think, yeah. So I am going.
To. Use one of my.
Feets Savage Attacker once per turn.
When you hit a target you can roll the weapon damage twice and
use either roll. So I'm going to roll the damage
two times. Of course you are.

(59:56):
Just in case I can get one extrahit on that that does 14 damage
to the wolf. That is massive good hit.
And for my performance check, I'm just going to yell at the
wolf and I'm going to say bring it, you wee Beastie.

(01:00:21):
You looking up at? It.
Then. They're cheering, but they're
cheering for the wolf. OK, How could you?
How could you? They're screaming.
How could you insult that beast, that majestic wolf?
Y'all got to win this crowd over.

(01:00:41):
It's important. All right, Next up, it is the
owl bear. And that owl bear is going to,
you know, it, it got kind of spooked by that Stingray.
It don't like that thing at all.But it is going to take an

(01:01:02):
attack at Inar. Inar does a 19 hit.
Yes, it is OK, Takes 20 damage. That's nuts.
There you go. There you go.
It's how you look in there, buddy.
I'm still standing. Well, I'm going to be kind of

(01:01:26):
nice to you here. And I will admit with the giant
Stingray popping up, it kind of Spooks the owl bear that that
attack was kind of a last ditch thing.
It is going to leap back over the river and try to get away
from this owl or from from the the water's edge there.

(01:01:47):
Do I get an opportunity attack on him?
Yeah, you you do. You can get an opportunity
attack on him and he he leaps over the river as as you swing
your your sword at him. Does the 17.
Hits 17 hits it's still running so will your damage 9, Damage to
him 99. OK, he is looking right fucked

(01:02:10):
up as as he gets spooked, he slashes out at you.
He hits you with one of his claws, leaps back over the river
to where he was before. As he's in the air.
You slash at him and you just, you know, get his hind leg and
he's he yelps and kind of limps off into the trees a little bit.

(01:02:33):
All right, and you have anything?
There you go, he says. I wonder if you taste like
chicken. Performance please 15 The crowd
loves that they're cheering. They're they're like off from
maybe it tastes more like bear. You know what is it bear or is
it a bird? You know they're they're with

(01:02:56):
you. INR yells back.
We're going to find out. Yes, we are.
With that, the second direwolf enters the field and it's coming
out. It's prowling.
Bring it on ya beast. It is going to come around under

(01:03:20):
these two trees. This battle is raging.
It is going to attack Rabruchian.
It kind of knowingly nods to thealpha wolf next to it.
Yep, you know, and it goes for Rabruchian.
Does a 24 hit Rabruchian? Yes, yes it does.

(01:03:42):
That is an 8 damage and you are not prone.
Is this something I can deflect?Piercing damage, yes, I can
deflect that, yeah. So I neglect 10.
Damage. Yeah, you can redirect it too

(01:04:02):
because you brought that damage down to 0.
OK, then it has to do deck savings row with ADC of 16.
Meets it, beats it. All right then And then nothing
happens. Yeah.
So that deck save was to keep him from keep it from being

(01:04:23):
redirected, right? Right, so he doesn't take any
damage. He met it, Yeah.
He met it. Yeah.
He doesn't take any damage or send any damage anywhere else.
Good, good redirect. All right, yes.
Not saved. Yeah, and that was that wolf's

(01:04:43):
turn. Here's where it gets scary,
guys. You guys all hear the loudest
banging and roaring you have ever heard.
This the the South gate under that giant Dragon's head
sculpture is shuddering and banging and they burst open, the

(01:05:09):
doors splintering, and a giant ape runs out, runs to the owl
bear. He picks, He picks up this owl
bear. The thing is screaming.
The crowd goes wild as it throwsthis owl bear across the map.

(01:05:32):
Everybody. I want everybody to roll a luck
check. All right, The person who rolls
the lowest is going to be the target.
OK, just ADC 20 luck check. Derek rolled the three.
Oh oh, we might have a roll off here.

(01:05:55):
IR rolled the three Oh. No.
Don't. Do me wrong, I'm not one and.
This bitch has got the range to do it.
I I wanted to be as fair as possible with this all right, It

(01:06:17):
throws this thing across the field at you.
It let me see. You need to do a Dexterity
saving throw with ADC of 17. So a deck save.
Yeah, deck save, Hey. Remember, do I get an advantage
on those now? Yeah.

(01:06:37):
It's like deck save. Do you have the lux lux stone or
the Shiba stone? Yes.
Yes. You have the Shiba stone, yes.
Well, no. You get you plus one.
It's a plus one. It's not advantageous plus one.
OK so I need to rule 17 or higher. 17 or higher. 19.
Oh, 19 all right, so you will take you save yourself from

(01:07:00):
prone, but you're going to take half of this damage.
OK, so 12 damage. OK, and this owl bear just got
thrown 90 feet. So that is what, 9 D 10s 'cause
it's AD 10 per 10 feet per something like this.

(01:07:22):
I don't think it's going to survive it, but let us see.
You are about 89 feet away. So Oh my God, Oh my God.
OK, so the owl bear had 40 hit points left.
The the damage from the toss wasa 4 + 2 + 4 + 9 + 3 + 7 + 4 + 4

(01:07:49):
+ 3 to 40. That owl bear is dead.
It is doing debt saving throws. No, it's not doing debt saving
throws. The owl bear is dead.
Basically I like kind of jumpingout of the way as it's hurling
towards me, probably like the force of it Nicks my back and I

(01:08:10):
go kind of flying a little bit but it just blows up against the
wall. Yeah, I'd, I'd, I'd say like a
body part breaks off of it and hits you and causes 12 damage.
Yeah, it splatters. Oh, wow.
I, I was, I was hoping that thing would survive that.

(01:08:31):
I thought I had it high enough. Take that the the beast roars,
the ape roars, and as a bonus action, it's going to take the
last of its movement and it is going to leap to this little

(01:08:51):
island here and turns and roars at the crowd and the crowd's
like. Yeah.
They know this monkey. They love this monkey.
You know, this is Ping Pong the giant ape.
Yes, Yes, that is Ping Pong's turn after that.

(01:09:18):
Rabrusian. What would you like to do, good
Sir? Well after seeing Garrett.
Just jump, help me go and help Ian R and do this amazing action
of breaking this branch and speeding our enemy to our other
enemy and then taking this greatthorn and splicing it.

(01:09:42):
I was just awe inspired getting ready to take off and then this
wolf comes in tries to attack me.
I block it. I'm watching this 8th Rd.
greatness Rd. the albear across the arena in total other chaos.
So I just muster up all my strength and try to punch this

(01:10:05):
dire wolf head on with an unarmed attack.
OK, go ahead and throw your throw your roll.
Oh, I didn't do disadvantage that.
My first one was 16 and my second one was 21, so six I have
to go. With I will say both, both of
those hit. Go ahead.

(01:10:25):
Well, no, no, no, That was my Yeah, I was going to say that
was my disadvantage. Yeah, both of those, both of
those hit, yeah. Oh let me see where the menu
damaged is 10, but I'm also going to use a focus point and
use stunning strike. The target must make ADC 16 CON

(01:10:49):
savings row On a failed save to target has the stunt condition
until the start of your next turn.
On a successful save, the target's speed is half until the
start of your next turn, and thenext attack role made against it
has advantage. OK, it failed that save so it is

(01:11:09):
stunned. No.
OK. And then I'm going to take off,
run it down to Ian, hard downstair and take my second
attack and the giant Stingray. OK.
Oh so close to a Nat 20 but. Oh my goodness, scaring me. 2525

(01:11:34):
definitely hits. All right, hate to hate to do
it, but don't forget the disadvantage from poison.
Oh, Yep, Yep. So again. 8.
And eight does not hit. Here OK, so never mind that five
damage. You I am oh, go ahead you you

(01:11:59):
quickly you're you're over thereby the wolves.
You know Garrett told you to go help INR you say OK and and then
you quit quick jab and and you just right on the jaw or right
on the forehead knock this direwolf and it's stunned for a
second. You run away and you Sprint

(01:12:20):
across the the ground over there, right up to the at
water's edge and you punch the water.
One's good, one's good. OK, I am then gonna for my bonus
action use one focus point and use my area of blows.

(01:12:45):
There you go, how many key points do you have left you
focus? I have three, I have a total of
five and I just so that's. OK, OK, just making sure.
All right, So roll that Fury flurry of blows with
disadvantage. OK, A17-A-17 does hit.

(01:13:08):
Now you can roll damage. You you kind of figured out the
refraction of the water and you punch down.
So he takes 8 damage. He barely notices and because.
There's flurry of blows, I get to do another attack.

(01:13:28):
Oh, but I rolled it just one. 12.
Does a 12 hit. A12 does hit meets it beats it.
All right, rolling damaged. Same thing.
You hit it. Yeah, you you hit it.
You clock the refraction of the water and you hit it again.
You know, doing doing some damage kind of wiggles its wing

(01:13:51):
a little. Bit OK.
It knows you're there. Let me say that.
It knows you're there now. Oh yeah, he definitely does,
because when you hit a creature with a tack granted by Flurry of
Blows, the target must exceed onADC 16 deck savings row or it
has the prone condition. OK, I'm knocking him.

(01:14:15):
Down 16 deck save, you said? Yes.
OK, he saves. He's a he's lying on the ground
already, you know. Oh.
It's a it's a Stingray, you know.
Yeah, it's a Stingray, you know,Yeah.

(01:14:37):
It saves anyway, though. But yeah.
So is that anything else you would like to do with your turn
or just like to address the crowd?
No. I would I would just like wave
them up, try to hype them up to get them.
Throw your performance on there.Right there.

(01:14:58):
And that is a 14. OK, they're loving it.
They're loving it. All right, this is good, guys.
This is good. Let us move on with that.
The next thing, all this commotion, all this commotion is

(01:15:22):
really kind of disturbing the peaceful tranquility there in
the center of the map. And you hear like a great slow
yawn as something wakes up. It stretches its limbs and you
see that tree, that gnarly 40 foot tree in the middle start to

(01:15:44):
move and a face turns around andit says.
What are you guys doing? Here and you have awakened the
tree. It.
Oh my. This is the final sponsor of the

(01:16:05):
evening. They wanted to load them up and
this one is by now I will say I did forget to announce the the
the dire wolves were sponsors from liquid Foundry brought to
us by Barkoshi and this final awakened tree is from Oh no no

(01:16:28):
no, I am wrong. Let me read this.
This is not a sponsor. I apologize.
That's right. This is the Stingray was the
sponster, the direwolves were the sponsters, and the snakes
was the sponsters. I am sorry.
It has been a long day. Please forgive me.

(01:16:48):
All right, yes. So the tree is awakened and it
is going to start walking. It is very slow.
Very. But everything is very close.
It is walking across the river ever so slowly and it perches

(01:17:11):
itself. It knocks over this other tree.
So just get out of my way. I want to stand here and it is
going to kind of observe everything.
Eric would like to taunt it and he yells out.
The World Tree is so much betterthan you.
OK, so roll an intimidation check to get its attention.

(01:17:40):
The World Tree is its ex-girlfriend.
The World Tree is its ex girl. It's pissed, yeah.
That's only I'm eleven, but it is a tree, so I mean.
Don't talk about my girlfriend, my ex-girlfriend like that.
And it's. You've got its attention.

(01:18:00):
It is going to get as close to you as it possibly can, and
that's about as far as it can get to you.
OK. It.
Has a reach of 10 foot it can hit you.
Yeah it is going to take a slam at you cause of your smart mouth
does a 14 hit. No.

(01:18:24):
Hard. All right.
Lucky that is its turn. Next up is INR you're getting.
You're in a tight spot here, buddy.
Yeah, I'm hurting a little bit. I think I'm going to take a swig
of something here. I yeah.
Are you doing? You're doing a potion as a bonus

(01:18:46):
action. Remember our house rules as an
action as the full health of thefull possible heel and a bonus
action is where you roll it. OK, I'm going to do, I'm just
going to take an action for my potion of greater Healing, and
that's four D 4 + 4. So it's 20 total, 20 total.

(01:19:07):
Thank. You.
Yep, there you go. That ought to feel a little bit
better. That feels so much better.
All right. Yeah.
I think I'm going to go ahead and roll for my flask of healing
2 D 4 + 2. As a bonus action, Yeah, OK.
OK, don't forget you can you cansecond wind as a bonus action.

(01:19:28):
Yeah, Second Wind is another heal that you have as a fighter.
OK, yeah, I like that one better.
I'm going to do one of those. OK so Second Wind, I've got a
limited well of physical health and mental stamina that you can
draw on, and as a bonus action Ican use it to regain hit points
equal to 1D10 plus my fighter level so it's +4.

(01:19:54):
So the 4 + 4 is 8. Yep, you should be doing pretty
good now. And I'm getting back up there.
OK, let's see. That's your action and your
bonus action. You have your movement.
And he's probably going to swingat me if I'll do that, Huh.
He's probably going to swing at me.
Anyway, he, he would get, yeah, he, he, he's going to swing at

(01:20:16):
one of you anyway. I think I'm going to what does?
His his reach is 5 foot. He obviously has to stay in the
water. But I'm I'm going to try to jump
back like. OK, yeah, he is going to go
ahead and take a swing at you. OK, He's he.
He does a 19 hit. Yeah, 19 hits.

(01:20:40):
OK, 10 damage. OK.
All right. That's all I got.
I'm gonna my jump back is gonna be like a a backflip.
Yeah. And you know.
Just to try to to try to rile upthe crowd here.

(01:21:00):
Yeah, roll that performance. Performance Can I do any
athletics? No, you can do performance.
Oh shit, I got a 2 - 1 so I got a one.
They are shot, Boo. They're you chicken shit, you

(01:21:21):
pussy. You.
Coward. They're jeering and shouting and
booing, you know, throw throwing, throwing rocks that
they that they have down into the field.
They can't quite hit you from where you're at.
But yeah, just know that they don't like you right now, right

(01:21:43):
with that is that's all you're going to do, right?
That's all I got right. Now, all right, it is up to the
first direwolf that's going to go ahead.
It's got you right there, Garrick.
He's going to take his attack with advantage because of Pack

(01:22:03):
tactics does a 24 hit. Yes, a 24 does hit.
All right, nine damage. I am raging.
Cut in half to round, rounded upand cut in half so that's for
damage and you are prone. Again.

(01:22:25):
OK. You're facing some direwolves,
man. You.
You sent your buddy away and youcalled the tree over.
That's all right. They can knock me down as much
as they want. They were going to keep you
down. Well, half my movement speed is
25 S. Yeah, yeah, I know.

(01:22:47):
Right. All right.
So with that, that's the end of its turn.
Direwolf A Saul, that brings us back up to you.
Already dude, you draw me a 40 foot cube.
Yeah, I mean 40 foot cube really.

(01:23:10):
That's massive. That is massive.
Would this hit these three whereit's at?
You're trying to hit the awakened tree, ping pong and the
Stingray. Uh huh.
They are so on the edge of that.I would say that it would fully

(01:23:30):
hit this. I don't, I don't know what
you're doing, but like dependingon what you're doing, I would
say like it fully hits the Stingray and ping pong and the
awakened tree would have advantage on escaping it or you
would have disadvantage on whatever attack it is.
Like we'd figure it out. Like what are you trying to do?
I'm gonna cast slow. OK.

(01:23:51):
Yeah, they will have advantage against it because they are
like, it's just their. Icons.
If not, then I I think it'd be better to do this.
OK, you can fully get both of those.
OK, only because giant ape is way better.
Than everything. Yeah.
OK. Give me DC Wisdom save of 6 DC

(01:24:15):
16 Wisdom save. The giant Stingray first gets a
dirty 20. It passes.
The monkeys are not wise. He rolled A5.
OK ping pong is slowed. Could you read slow for the for
the class so that everybody knows what to expect?

(01:24:36):
An effective target speed is halved, takes a -2 penalty to AC
and deck saving throws, and it can't take reaction on its turn.
It can take either an action or a bonus action, not both, and it
can make only one attack if it takes the attack action.

(01:24:57):
So basically I only one attack and movement speed cut in half
do. You want to do an.
Attack or a bonus action. Yeah, attack or.
Both not both. OK.
But not both. I got you.
Not both. I got you.
I did use I did use two sorcery points to make that a a bonus

(01:25:20):
action cast. OK.
And then I will cast Sorcery Burst on.
Let's see whichever direwolf looks more hurt.
That would be, I would say, honestly, Direwolf a what's?

(01:25:41):
That I will shoot at Direwolf A What's advantage?
OK. That's not a good one.
At least it's better. 18. Yeah, 18.
Hits. OK, Monroe, some mates or some
mates? 087 total lightning.
Damage 7 total damage. Oof.

(01:26:03):
It did not like that all right. It did not like that at all.
All righty so. And a net 20 on the.
You net or man on performance check, the crowd loses its mind
and you know what? On a Nat 20, I was going to save

(01:26:27):
this for top of the order because you guys have been
rolling fairly well, but somebody in the crowd says Oh
my. God, I love you, Saul.
I love you, Saul. And throws as hard as she can a
healing potion into the ring. OK, yeah.

(01:26:49):
And I I. Wave at her and give her like a
blow her a piss. Yeah, you have to stand directly
on that square to pick that up. OK.
And anybody can pick it up. It's not just like she meant it
for you, but anybody on the field can run and pick that up.
There's a healing motion on the field.

(01:27:10):
All right, I. Think I've used everything I can
use so that's it for me. Well, hey, Next up it is the
giant Stingray and it is going to, well the only thing that it
can do is attack Rubrusian. It did not get slowed.
It passed its thing. So it's going to go ahead and

(01:27:32):
multi attack. Mr. Rob here does a 22 hit.
Yes it does. OK, you take 3 damage.
This is going to be easy for youto block 3 damage and yeah,
piercing. This is piercing.

(01:27:53):
Everything in this is pretty much piercing, slashing or
bludgeoning. OK.
Yeah, like there's, there's thisis a beast war.
So there's not much, you know, there's poison, but there's not
much magic damage being thrown out there.
Just so you guys, you know, be clear on that.
Well, success. If you don't deflect this one,

(01:28:15):
you will roll ADC 13 Constitution.
OK. Yeah, 'cause I know you're going
to try to deflect it. Go ahead.
I am 16. You deflect it and it brings it
to 0. So like that's a redirect as
well, right? Yeah.
Is yeah, we were saying we were redirecting, right?

(01:28:38):
Yes, that is 11. Yeah, that that gives that does
the damage to me now or? Well I can take this anyone in
range so but that's the only same within 5 feet does.

(01:28:58):
The awakened tree is within. Oh, it's not within 5 foot of
the. It's within 5 foot of you, Yeah.
Oh well, yeah, no, it has to be 5 foot of me.
Oh, then the awakened tree. The awakened tree is within 5
foot of you but. Yeah, so I will redirect it that
way. OK, so the awakened tree is
going to take I know it's silly because it's I believe that's

(01:29:22):
you know, but yeah, the oh, I'll, I'll give it to you.
The awakened tree will take thatredirect damage.
Does it just take the original 3?
Right. Or does No no, it takes a it
just so I rolled 2D8 plus 3411. OK, because what it is is a
point to retract some of the attacks or but it's not the

(01:29:44):
attack itself as as a monk I take that energy from its force
and then transfer to something else.
OK. So yeah, so it's not like you're
grabbing its weapon and stabbingsomebody else.
You're you're taking that hit, that energy and and redirecting
it as a different attack at something else.

(01:30:04):
I see. Yeah.
Oh, wait. Yeah, and I and I.
Skipped this set so before it even takes damage it has to roll
a savings throw for decks. I'm sorry.
OK, so that damage it's getting like, yeah, the trees got to
roll a deck saving throw. The tree has to roll a deck

(01:30:25):
saving throw. Yeah, yeah, it rolled A13 with a
minus tail, so it failed. All right, so it takes the 11
damage. Yeah.
Dang. And you're tough to kill.
Yes, yes I am. All right, all right, all right,
all right. I just so you are aware I am

(01:30:48):
down to two of my focus point. Thank you, yes, after the giant
Stingray then that would be Garrick.
You are prone. 2 wolfs slobbering over you all right up
up above you. I stand up and I am.

(01:31:10):
Going to jump. On top of the well, no, I'm just
going to swing at the stun wolf.Dire Wolf B Yeah.
Yes, and that will give me advantage due to the stunned
condition. It should, yes.
So let's come on, Nat 20. That's a.

(01:31:34):
Pony 3 for my first hit, but I'mgoing to also use my no, no, no,
never mind. I'm not using that, not with
three things coming after me. So you know exactly what I was
going to say. I will then use my savage
attacker and roll my weapon diced Voice.

(01:31:55):
So that will be a 13 for damage 13.
Damn Barbarians. And then I am going to use my
second attack on the theme, DireWolf with advantage.
Oh no, that is a 24 to hit. That is a hit.

(01:32:19):
For another 11 damage. This wolf is looking horrible.
This wolf is bleeding and just whimpering.
And I apologize, I forgot to usemy 2D6 temporary dye from my

(01:32:41):
vitality of the tree. Right, go ahead.
But that will be 6 tenth help. There you go.
All right. And that is, I believe that's my
my turn. I mean, very good turn and
Barbarians, I tell you. With that it is performance

(01:33:04):
check ahead. Roll your performance check.
I shout to the crowd because they booed me last time and I
say, see, I told you it's just we beasties.
That is a 21. Oh, they're yeah, screaming.
Hell yeah. You're getting them back with
that, with that big ass hit. You know you, you know, swinging

(01:33:28):
your what? What was your weapon again?
Your your sword. Vicious great sword.
You're just great sword. You're swinging your, your, your
great sword around. Blood is flying everywhere.
You you chop off the freaking ears of this, you know, fluffy,
cute little direwolf or the little giant direwolf.
You disfigured this thing. And the crowd just loves that

(01:33:51):
they're here for it. Yeah, yes.
With that, it is Direwolf B's turn, and Direwolf B is stunned
and hurt. It came out of its turn.
It's the end of it. That's back to the top.
OK, It is Ping Pong's turn. It's going to use a bonus

(01:34:16):
action. So what it's going to do is it's
going to use half of its movement speed to run up 20
feet, and then it is going to use its bonus action to leap
over the crowd of all this junk in the middle.
It has a leap of 30 feet. And you think you guys know

(01:34:37):
where this is coming from? It lands with a thunderous roar
or boom, thunderous boom and splashes in the water.
Water, silt and sand go everywhere.
The Stingray kind of bobs a little bit in the water, you
know, as this great ape lands and it is just staring at you.

(01:34:59):
You have its owl bear, Saul. Yeah, That is all it can do.
That is all it can do. So.
You can try to save not too. Huh.
You can try to save not too. Yes.
What was that? DC-16 Wisdom.

(01:35:20):
Yes, Wisdom. OK, he rolled a dirty 20.
He is no longer slowed. All righty.
So that is Ping Pong's turn. It is Rabushian's turn.
You've got a lot of guys around you, man.

(01:35:43):
Yes, yes I do. So, so a bit of a scene set so
to to to recapture. So everybody knows Saul has not
left the gate. He has been kind of hiding up
there, throwing magic spells across the field.
And you know what, I'm an idiot.I should have checked line of
sight for some of that stuff 'cause there are a lot of trees
in the way. That is my bad.

(01:36:04):
And I will continue being that, you know, horrible about that.
I didn't want to have have you do nothing though, you
Rabruchian is. You've got the giant Stingray in
the water right next to you thatyou're engaged with.
You are poisoned. You have the awakened tree kind
of moving away from you, up above you.

(01:36:25):
And you have this gigantic King Kong ping pong ape that had just
leapt over all of you and landedin the water, splashing you with
sand and river water. Right.
So with all this going on I decide I need to start giving

(01:36:46):
the crowd, you know, something to look at.
Decides just punches. Do I grab my healing post in and
try to make it not look like a healing post in and take a?
Fake sling out. Of it and hiccup and I just kind
of start to wobble around but asI'm wobbling they're woo and

(01:37:10):
there's. Chaos.
In my movement it's all on purpose and I go into a Drunken
master boxing style and I go to attack the Stingray. 1st I want
you to roll me a performance check for this.
An 8 an 8. They know it's a healing potion.

(01:37:33):
Do you use that as a bonus action?
What use the potion? Yeah, we're gonna add that
potion. No, no, no, I was just OK.
Feels like I'm drunk. Yeah, like I was pulling a flat
scout. But I don't want to help use the
potion. One one of the audience member
throws A throws a mug of ale into the ring.

(01:37:55):
You know, says drink this. You, you know, this is real.
It, it spills on the on the on the dirt.
Throw a beer at you. It's all right.
So I will try and make my attackat the giant Stingray.
Of course it's. Disadvantage.

(01:38:16):
Yes. Let me clear things.
Doesn't somebody have? I could have sworn I gave you
guys something to get rid of poison.
Yeah, I don't have anything. There's a 14 hips.
Yes it does. All right, or 8 damage and I'm
also going to going to try and stun him.

(01:38:38):
We either made one more high point con save of DC-16.
DC-16 con save. Yeah, he rolled a sticks.
But you. Have all right.
So now I'm going to attack the. Oh, go ahead.
Yeah, I was going to say, I can't tell who's WAMP and who

(01:39:01):
here, right? So I'm going to make my other
tack splat. Does the 12 hit?
Meets it, beats it. All right.
And then damaged for five. Chipping away, he's he's looking
very annoyed. Stunned but annoyed.

(01:39:26):
Then I'm going to use my bonus action to just make an unarmed
strike and I got a gnat 20 and a26 or crit damage.
What a waste of a crit. Wow, wow.

(01:39:47):
Some 5 for the crit. OK.
The ones through their ugly head.
Oh, that hurts. Yeah, that really does.
It really does. All right, Yeah, he's looking
quite messed up here. Or not quite messed up.
He's looking. He's looking hurt.

(01:40:08):
Not destroyed. Idly hurt.
OK is there anything else you'd like to do?
You already did your performance.
No, that's that's all I want to do.
OK, all right. The awakened tree.
Derek What? Did you say about my?

(01:40:31):
Ex-girlfriend and he bunks rightup next to you.
He is going to take a slam attack on you.
Does a 14 hit. Negative.
I'll bring it on, ya stinking twig.
Oh. How can I hit you?

(01:40:53):
What can I do? Yeah, well, you're short.
That's his turn. And pretty soon you'll be even
shorter. Is that a threat?
I know it's your turn. OK, I think I'm going to I'm
going to switch over to my oh, OK, and I am going to shoot at

(01:41:26):
ping pong. Really.
Yes, OK. I'm going to just know you have
advantage if you attacked on theteam rights.
I've got a shadow arrow and get him with it.
He basically can't see anything for five feet.
He can't see, only he can only see for five feet.

(01:41:47):
Yeah, so I. Was going to do.
That so. Maybe he couldn't get.
Somebody over there that he was running towards.
No, that's a good idea too. No, I was just need to make sure
you knew I'm. I'm going to say just rolling
that one. No, go ahead.
You had to do that. Yamas.
OK. All right.

(01:42:09):
He's right in front of ya. Yeah, Remember, he's a little
bit bigger than his avatar shows.
Could you please say that loud? Say that proud.
I rolled a Nat one. Yeah. +9 though.
OK, but it's a Nat one and that was a shadow arrow one.

(01:42:32):
She call it Nat one I'm. Crying.
That's a that's a shadow arrow. Or is the shadow arrow something
you could choose after you shoot?
You said it was a shadow arrow. You Yeah, it roll damage.
I made sure to make sure your Nat 20s were vicious like the
the the potentially with the weapons I gave you.

(01:42:55):
OK, seven damage Rabushi and youtake 7 damage.
And what's the effect of shadow? It's it's an arrow, right?
Yeah, but you used your reactionalready.
But it was my not since my turn, haven't I?
This is you used the. On the.

(01:43:17):
Thing right? Correct.
Yeah, this that was at the Stingrays turn that was last
round. OK, OK, so you can you can get
this not. Redirecting.
Yes, you can. Deflect what?
A lot. Finally using all of the people
to almost get hit. I know.

(01:43:44):
Deflected. Me.
Reflected the damage. Are you going to redirect this
because you brought it down to 0?
I am not. OK.
All right. Because that would be a key
point, right? Right I.
I can I can always deflect as a reaction, but to redirect it

(01:44:04):
takes a key point. And I believe you're out of key
points. No, I have one.
Left one more, one more. Correct?
Correct. Yeah, I'm just.
I'm being cozy with what I do with it at this point.
The best person that you could possibly Matt one on Einar,
played by Waldo, who who historically hits his own

(01:44:27):
teammates like it's a hobby. The crowd knows this.
This is what they were waiting for.
I'm not even going to make you roll for performance.
They love it. I NAR kick his ass.
I NAR kick his ass. You know, they know what you're
all about. You know the song Whose Side Are

(01:44:48):
you on? Starts playing in the speakers.
These arcane speakers. All right, that's it, Ruth.
That's that's it. I NAR anything else.
You'd like to do I tell you what?
That arrow was was juiced up pretty good.
I'm telling you, we had it wouldhave given him psychic.
Damage man, this always happens.I really get to beat the crap

(01:45:12):
out of a couple of people and and then the rest of you guys
just avoid taking any meaningfuldamage.
I I'm going to OK, you guys heara loud roar and steps over the
edge of the arena. A Tarasque Enter No Direwolf A.

(01:45:33):
It's direwolf A's turn and he isright up here.
Another quick update for the audience, it is Garrick is in
the middle of between two wolves, 2 direwolves and an
awakened tree. In this, you know like sandwich
of of Carnage and direwolf A is going to take its attack.

(01:45:58):
It still has pack tactics from Dire Wolf B.
So you are going does an 18 hit.Thank you.
It's what it has pack tactics. I will tell you behind the
screen. It's first one was in that one.
So an 18 hits. Yeah, finally.

(01:46:18):
You fit twice. Yeah, but you're really hard to
hit, OK. I'm really not.
Our our our sorcerer has more armor than Derek.
Yamas is having the frustration of having.
Players that just. Can't hurt.
I know. All right.

(01:46:41):
You take 13 damage cut in half, rounded up to seven, So so 7
damage. All right, my 10th hit points
are gone and I lost one health. He says, all right, yeah, you
suck. You are also prone.

(01:47:04):
Just I'm going to keep the yellow border on you.
You're like all forever prone, OK.
Good thing. Good thing you get up before
anything else going to hit you. You know, like really holy.
Shit. After that you've got Saul.
Saul, good Sir, would you like to come out and play?

(01:47:30):
Yeah, let's try this again. Let's see what happens.
I should be able to get everyonewith this.
Yeah. Yep, everyone fits in there.
Yep, everyone gets in there. So.
You see 16 Wisdom settings for everybody.
As you're, as you're casting this, you feel a rock hit you in

(01:47:54):
the back of the head. OK.
And then another one and then another one.
As much as the crowd loves seeing you sling spells, they
also don't like that you haven'treally shown.
Like there's people in the standabove you that haven't seen you
actually do anything. They just know you're there.

(01:48:14):
So they're just dropping rocks down on your head, you know?
I'm just like fireballs. Are proud of that he he sure you
sure can try. An audience member screams out I
got 20 silver that the warlock goes down 1st.

(01:48:35):
I'll take that. Bet.
I'll take that bet too. Nobody said peasants were smart.
OK, so everybody needs to make asaving throw, correct?
Yep, resident saving throw DC-60. 4.
Everything but Ping Pong and thebut the Stingray is stunned.

(01:48:59):
So with that you have slowed theAwakened tree.
Both Dry Wolves, the Great 8th Ping Pong and the Giant Stingray
have both passed your silly little spells.
All right, I'm going to move over to this ocean of healing.
And am I able to pick it up thisround or do I need to wait till

(01:49:22):
next round? Did you use an action and a
bonus action? Yes.
OK, I'm gonna, I'm gonna make you, I'm gonna make you use an
action next turn, pick it up, a bonus action next turn to pick
it up. But you will be able to drink it
right away, like if you need to.I don't think you've even been
hit, no. I've been.

(01:49:43):
Here, that's right. There was an owl there thrown
across. There was an owl there thrown
across. Yeah.
So yeah, you you can't use it this turn, but you can use it
next turn, like yeah. Well, am I able to pick it up,
not use it or no I got to do that?

(01:50:03):
If you're talking like a run andscoop, are you trying to like
Outlook? Give me a slight of hand check
to see if you can pick it up on the run using sacrifice, Say 5
foot of movement to to do that 13.
Yeah, I'll, I'll say that you sacrifice 5 foot of movement to
to slow down and scoop it up with a 13.

(01:50:25):
Yeah. And it's just a regular potion
of healing. Yeah, just a regular potion of
healing. OK, yeah, that's all I can do.
I'm done 5. Foot OK, a giant Stingray can't
do anything this turn because itwas stunned, but it is no longer
stunned. It is looking pretty damn hurt.
Garrick, it is your turn. You are prone, surrounded by

(01:50:46):
dudes that are slow. I stand up.
The crowd loses its mind. And I'm going to roll my 2D6 of
10 pit points. Yeah, and that's going to get me
raging. Each turn that I'm raging, I get
tough hit points, so that's three.

(01:51:07):
OK. And.
I am going to swing at do I get advantage against slowed
opponents or no? No, I don't think so.
OK, I will swing at Direwolf B though.
And you know what? Just.
I'm going to make it reckless toget.

(01:51:30):
There you go. That's a 23 to hit.
That is a 23 to hit. That is a hit.
Good thing I went reckless because I would have only hit a
10. Yeah, yes, go ahead and roll
your damage. So I'm going to use my Marshall

(01:51:51):
feet to roll my damage voice andI am going to take that 14 and
swing it at that wolf. Garrick, tell me in his
descriptive words as you can, how you end this wolf.
Derek takes his sword in both ofhis hands and slashes across

(01:52:17):
underneath the wolf's head level, cutting off its legs,
bringing it down to his height and he says, see, I told you
guys they were just me beasties. The crowd stands up and cheers.
Throw me a performance check. See Can I get an advantage?
You know what? On a kill, I'll give you

(01:52:38):
advantage on that. Why not?
All right. And for those who killed
something already, nobody. You got an 8.
You know what? They are glad that you killed
that thing, but they've seen better kills, you know?
I mean, jeez, last time they sawyou in there, I believe you got
what? An axe to the face.

(01:52:58):
Goblin Goblin Spear. The goblin axe to the face,
Yeah. Oh yeah, yeah, OK, yeah, I'm
going to go ahead and take my second attack on Direwolf A.
OK. That's a 20 dirty to hit.
That is, you know what, you go again because you chose

(01:53:20):
reckless, you get advantage justin case you get a gnat 20.
Doesn't reckless only work on the same creature?
No reckless attack is, you know your attacks this round are
reckless. The only thing it does not work
on is reaction attacks, opportunity attacks.
That's the 16, so I'll take The Dirty point.
Of course you will. It hits.

(01:53:44):
Oh, that's 16 damage. 16 damage. This dude is hurt, and he is.
I'll go ahead and throw some taunts at the at the tree to
keep it engaged. Just wait.
It's your turn next, you twig. All right.

(01:54:07):
Is that it? You got anything else?
No, I got nothing. Nothing left.
Good Jesus, you're hard to hit. You're you're hard to kill.
Oh my God. Mud.
I do see why you don't like Barbarians.
I love. Barbarian next.
You just got to do a lot of damage to them.
Yeah. Next up is ping pong.

(01:54:29):
Ping pong is not slowed. He is going to, but he still was
tracking Saul. So he is going, this is going to
be interesting. He is got a climb speed of 40
feet. He is going to climb up the

(01:54:50):
awakened tree and he is in the branches of the awakened tree
and he, just like King Kong at the top of the Empire State
Building, he stands up there andbeats his chest and let's see,
he is going to reroll to see if he charges his boulder.

(01:55:15):
He does not. And as a bonus action, he is
going to leap at Saul, right behind Saul.
I hate to do it. He's going to take a hit at you.
Saul's got a monkey on his back.Saul's got a monkey on his back.
Saul, all right, does a 20 hits dirty, dirty.

(01:55:39):
Not now. I'm going to say no because I'm
going to do the reactioning testshield, but that will not.
Does that bring you up to? 22.
It's like +5, right? Yeah.
OK, OK. So yeah, you.
He swings his gigantic fist downand slams it, going to, you

(01:56:03):
know, smash You. You last second, throw your arms
up in a magical shield. What does your shield look like
when you cast it? It's like a think of it like a
Dome, kind of just like a hands loose and Dome.
This this Dome of just pure energy, you know, protects you

(01:56:23):
and it stops that slam a foot from your face, you know, you
just see him railing on it, you know, monkey slamming it, you
know, and you block it. All right?
He is not going to do that this term.
He's mad at you. But that shield confused him.

(01:56:44):
OK, Next up in the turn order isRebrushian.
Rebrushian. You've got Einart behind you and
a Stingray in front of you. Maybe you are so poisoned.
Yes, I am, and I'm going to justmake my unarmored tact at the
Stingray. With disadvantage.

(01:57:07):
With disadvantage, there's 11 a hit.
It does not. No, OK, I'm going to make my
second attack with disadvantage.I think that's a note 13.
That is a hit. All right, seven points of

(01:57:31):
damage. Seven points of damage is 7
points of damage. Good job.
All right. And for my bonus action, I'm
just going to make an unarmed attack.
OK, well that one is a 9 or 11, so both myths.
You both myths, yes, OK. So that's the end of my turn.

(01:57:56):
Man, you guys are rough. It is the awakened tree.
It is just going to continue to slam at this dude that is just
bashing his ex all right. Does a this guy I'm rolling like
dog shit for this tree does a 12hit.

(01:58:16):
I'm assuming it doesn't Garrick.I'm sorry, 23 that does hit.
Oh, it's 12 does not. I heard a 23 for some reason.
Yeah. AA12 does.
Hit a 12 or no, No, no, no, I'm sorry.
A 12 does not hit. I was still.
Thinking 23 it's a 12 hits, I owe you a lot of damage.

(01:58:37):
Shit, alright, that's all the tree can do.
God Dang it, the tree was my bigbeauty, you know?
All right. What's this?
Yeah, that is the tree's turn and your your.
Prized villain for this episode isn't getting to do what you
thought it would do I. Thought it would at least hit

(01:59:01):
somebody. No Gary.
Gary the Dwarf. You don't say.
So. So I didn't.
Garrick is Garrick is just sitting there ranching.
Around it. Just remembering his childhood
and finding a cave deep in the mines where tree roots were

(01:59:25):
coming through the stone and they were barked over.
And he just keeps thinking to himself, this tree is nothing.
Yeah. All right, I know it is your
turn. Yeah, you know what I'm going
to, I'm going to go ahead and shoot at the Stingray.

(01:59:46):
OK, OK. OK, there's an 18.
Hit 818 hits. Oh man, OK, we'll give him a six
damage and he's vexed. Vexed.
What does that do? It have advantage on the next

(02:00:09):
roll attack roll against that creature.
OK, so attack. So the next person who attacks
it gets advantage, it says. If if you hit a creature with a
short bow and deal damage to thecreature, you have a advantage
and. You have advantage next time you
hit it. OK, yeah, I was going to say
because if it if it if it was working for Ribussi and it would

(02:00:30):
go flat because of the poison. OK, can.
I add fire burn to that. Why?
I mean like with what the? It's it's an actual attack, like
when you hit the target with an attack roll and deal damage, you
can actually deal. Oh, yeah, absolutely.
I will say it. You know what?

(02:00:51):
Yeah, it's it's floating on top of the water right now.
Like it's, it's it's not underwater.
So absolutely it's made itself clear.
OK. That's a.
One, I won't take that from you.Roll one of them.
Well, I had another. 2. Hey, take it, take it.
You know, you guys are, you guysare not doing bad.

(02:01:13):
Obviously there's still a lot ofhealth points on the board
though. I will say that a lot of health
points. You guys might have to team up
here soon. So yeah, for my bonus action,
I'm going to go ahead and do a second wind.
OK. OK, so 13.
All right. That's thirteen hit points to

(02:01:34):
you. Yep, Yep, Yep.
OK, I think that's all I got. Yep, rolled me to your
performance check. They just saw you.
You they they ain't seen a Stingray catch fire before.
And I rolled. It too.
Man. I grunt.
Look at that guy. What's he think?
It's a sushi restaurant. They start throwing some rocks

(02:01:58):
from the stage. They can't quite reach you, but
a few of them land close to yourfeet, so they're getting closer
with the rocks. All right, Next up we have the
slow direwolf. So it can only take one attack
or a bonus action, and its movement is half.

(02:02:19):
Well, that's all it needs. Does a Nat 20 hit?
No, sorry, Dirty 20, Dirty 20. Does a dirty 20 hit.
A dirty 20 hit. I bet all right, you are going
to take 8 piercing damage, cut in half to 44 Barbarus and and

(02:02:44):
guess what? You're you're you're back to
prone. Hey, I just, I just want to say
it again. 310 hits to 0 - 1 Jeez.
I you know, I'm going to have tostick ping pong on you if you
keep it up. Yeah, maybe once he does what
he's going to do to narrow to Saul.

(02:03:08):
All right, That's the direwolvesturn.
He can't do much else being so slowed and annoyed.
So no, he gets to save out of attempt to save.
That's a Wisdom saving throw. Correct.
And he fails. He's still slow.
Leave. Then it is Saul's turn.
If I'm correct. Yes, it is Saul's turn.

(02:03:31):
Let me tell a little sometimes. So this guy's right on me.
Dig it. Yeah, he's well above you.
I'm going to do shocking grasp on him.
Oh. Dirty, dirty little sorcerer.
Go ahead. That's going to be a 13.

(02:03:52):
Oh, I do get advantage so. Yeah, I'd, I'd.
Roll that 1313 and. 13 hits. Believe it or not, he's a big
monkey. But he's still just a big
monkey. OK, cool.
Let's see N what's that inked? Lightning.

(02:04:14):
Damage. Yeah, lightning damage.
Then I will. I'm going to move over here.
OK, he's going to get an an attack of an opportunity.
Negative, he won't. Oh, he won't.
Nope. Shocking grasp.
Oh, right. Takes away his reaction.
Thank you. You tricky freakin tricky

(02:04:41):
freakin. I love you get to laugh at that.
This is not my first rodeo. OK, let's see.
It's still bonus action. Technically, I could turn that
spell into a, into a bonus action because yeah, OK, I'll do

(02:05:05):
that. And then I.
Believe you can with with your meta magic stuff.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, so I will have cast that as
a bonus action and then I will, let's see.
And then I will cast mirror image.
OK. Mirror Image essentially creates

(02:05:27):
3 duplicates of myself and it appears in a space around me
until the spell ends. The duplicates move with you and
mimic your actions shifting positions so it's impossible to
track which image is real. Each time a creature hits you
with an attack roll during the spells duration, well D6 for
each of your remaining duplicates.
If any of the sixes roll A3 or higher, one of the duplicates

(02:05:52):
duplicates is hit instead of youand the duplicate is destroyed.
The duplicates otherwise ignore all other damage and effects.
The spell ends when all three duplicates are destroyed.
OK, so I put three more of you down and put your character in
blue so you knew which one you were.
OK, I'm good treatment as I don't know.

(02:06:14):
That sounds good. That's it for me.
OK, OK, it is. Give me a little shot, T-shirt.
Yeah, throw a, throw a performance check the that was
an electrifying performance 23. 23, yeah. 23, You got to stop

(02:06:39):
that. 23 They love you. Yeah.
That that shocking performance. Plus the little, you know, magic
show of, you know, the illusionary magic.
Yeah, they're they're loving it.And another health potion gets
tossed out into the field. Fortunately, this person that I
had for it was a bit farther away.

(02:07:02):
So that may or may not be usefulfor you.
Sorry, I've got to unhide it. I'm trying to these borders.
OK, there we go. It is down over here by the by
the tree that is and that is your turn.
It is the giant stingray's turn now.
And you know what he do? He's trying to take somebody

(02:07:24):
down with him. So he is going to hit at the
only person that he's ever lovedand that is Robushian.
It is going to take its sting attacks.
Does a 17 hit Rebusian? It does not.
With that though, that is the end of the Stingray's turn.

(02:07:47):
Garrick, that is up to you. End of the turn order.
I stand up. Are you sure?
I forgot, and I believe you did too, that I recklessed so you
should have gotten advantage against me.
Right, I did forget. That is my bad.
I'm not going to reckon that. If you if you wanted to attack.

(02:08:13):
OK, I'll roll advantage. I'll roll advantage this next
time if you don't do reckless. That's Bob.
I was going to say if you want to do the wolf hit, but if you
want to do a set another attack for the tree you can.
I'm fine with it. Yeah, I know you are.
Let's just see if the tree hits you for that.
We'll, we'll do that real quick,all right.

(02:08:36):
Does a 25 hit. Yes.
Does does a 15 take away any of your health point?
Any of your normal health points.
Yes, so that would drop down to 8.
Yeah, 8 Does an 8 take away any of your temp hit points?
Yeah, you got me out of the 70s all.

(02:08:58):
Right. And now that it's my turn, I'm
going to roll my 2D sixes for my10 pits and another that's 810
pit points. All right, Lord, I'm going to
reckless attack the direwolf. Next next fight I do with you

(02:09:20):
guys, I'm having you guys all start hide up around a tree in
the middle and and swarm you guys with with goblins.
I'm talking hundreds. That's a gnat, quani.
Oh my God, what are you hitting? The Direwolf.
Roll your crit damage, you goofy.

(02:09:43):
Just goofy. Just so you know I'm adding.
Do I add the +2 for my rage for both or just once?
It is. No, it's it's just once.
You'd basically double any die you would roll.
OK so whatever I roll add 7 or add 9 because the great sword
does an extra 7 on a Nat 20. Yeah.

(02:10:07):
So. And can I do the Savage tacker
and all that twice? I'm going to be really nice and
say you don't need to. This wolf had seven hit points
and. What a waste of a crit.
And did 12, so +9. OK, so.

(02:10:27):
Tell us, Garrick, how you kill this poor innocent little puppy.
Well, Garrick is not a he's not the innovative type, so he's
just going to repeat the same thing and make sure that he is
taller than the little and he isgoing to look up at the crowd

(02:10:49):
and raise his hands. Like what?
They're cheering. They love seeing ya.
They love seeing it. Rick fuck em up.
Yeah, Rick, fuck em up. And since I have the tree
taunted I'm I'm going to yell atit a little more, making all

(02:11:10):
sorts of stick ONS and I'm goingto run over to ping pong.
You're going to take a opportunity, of course you are.
Just a heads up. Just a heads up, due to my
feature opportunity attacks against me are at disadvantage.

(02:11:32):
OK, I did well he I would he would roll flat because you
reckless attacked because a 19 hit.
A nineteen hits. Cool, I'm actually getting some
hits off on you. All right. 18 damage cut in
half. 8 Give me those 10 pit points back. 18 cut in half is 9

(02:11:55):
so I'll lose the 10 pit points and I lose one health.
Yeah, I, I, I know good math all.
Right. And then and then I'm going to
swing at ping pong. What?
Ping pong might fuck you up, dude.
And rolling that with advantage. You going reckless?

(02:12:19):
Yeah, yeah. It's a night team to hit. 19
hits. Jesus. 2 ones for seven damage
total. Seven damage he you cut his
toenail, dude. All right.
So really quickly for the restorative ointment, when I

(02:12:41):
added it to myself, it came withfive charges, but it does say it
contains 1D4 plus one. Would you like me to roll AD 4
to see how many charges I have? Yeah, go ahead, go ahead.
That's a three. So I have 4 charges.
I'm going to use a bonus action. To apply that.

(02:13:02):
Yeah. So I'm going to drop it down so
it's 3 + 1, so 4 charges and I'mgoing to use one charge implied,
yeah. Why aren't you like full health?
Yeah, but it's two D 8 + 2. I'm not full health, I'm down 14
and I can't bonus action anything else.
Oh damn, I said you took my 10thgrade.

(02:13:24):
Yeah, OK, so I will roll my 2D eights and that is 14 + 2 for
16. So I am back to full.
Oh my goodness, Mud. I feel your pain, all right?

(02:13:45):
And I will end my turn. All right, the crowd loves it.
You know nothing of paid. We are back to the top of the
turn order and that would be oh funny enough, ping pong.
He has been holding back a little bit, but after getting

(02:14:05):
shocked, slowed, you know, beat with a freaking sword, he is
going to just lay into this tiny, insignificant dwarf.
First. He's gonna see if he has his
boulder tossed back. Oh, he's not.

(02:14:28):
Oh my God, he was flying across the arena.
Yes, he is not afraid of throwing bodies at first attack.
It is going to be does a 15 hit.No.
OK, second attack does a 25 hit.Yes. 26 cut in hand. 13 damage.

(02:14:55):
13 damage give me them a hit points back.
And that is why a propulsion. Yeah, yeah.
And Ping Pong raises his arms tothe crowd and roars as if to
say, come on, guys. And he rolls 13 on his
performance. Check his charisma.

(02:15:19):
They're like Ping Pong. Ping Pong.
I had to give myself something. That is the end of now he's got
Now that's the end of Ping Pong's turn.
Yeah. So that brings it to Rebrusian.
You are down there still chipping away at this Stingray
with Inar. Yes, yes, we're trying to get

(02:15:42):
rid of this damn thing. Not right.
So you're close. OK.
I was thinking about picking himup and throwing the damn water
at this point and suffocating him and.
He can breathe underwater. Oh, to pulling him out of the
water. Yeah.
Right, could have done that at the beginning.

(02:16:04):
Well, I yeah, I thought about it.
So still in my drunken boxing style, I do my unarmed Titanic.
Where is it? There it is.
Oh, so the first one, 1616 hits. No, no, but I'm disadvantaged.

(02:16:27):
I just forgot to end. Oh, right, but does a. 15 hit.
Yes, a 15 hits. Oh, all right, finally for 11
damage. Rebrushian, tell us how you
finish this giant Stingray. I'm getting frustrated that I'm
still dealing with this monster.I reach down, pull them out, pop

(02:16:53):
them up in the air, lift my footup has his belly falls onto my
foot and I Roundhouse take him down onto the ground, bringing
him out of the water, leaving him to suffocate on land.
Boom boom, he is dead, done, gone.

(02:17:16):
Good job. Bro.
And you you got to kill roll your persuasion with advantage
or rote, not persuasion your your performance.
And that will be a 17. The crowd loves you.
It's a particularly strong armedsum bitch in the crowd, you

(02:17:36):
know, shrieks out, you know, monks for life.
And he throws a healing potion down.
Let me grab it right quick. I yelled.
Next time, an antidote would be better.
Yeah, you're going to hate this. All right?
Is that it for your turn or is Dad you still have your movement

(02:17:57):
and a bonus action? Multiple or other attacks you
know? Yes.
So I am gonna run up. Hey can I let can I let him take
something out of my pre owned bag of holding?
You guys, you guys were close, Yeah, you guys were close to
each other. You can if Yeah he can.

(02:18:20):
He can choose to reach into youryour pre owned bag of holding if
you would like to use an action to do that or I believe it's a
bonus action to grab something out of it.
I'm not, I don't know for sure, but and and I also don't know.
Is there an antidote in there? Did you?
Put an antidote in there. It's a pre owned bag of holding.

(02:18:42):
I don't remember. Well, you don't know what all's
in there, do you? He can.
That was. The that was.
The the special, the special bag, Yeah, it's got some goodies
in it. I got a bag I'm.
Not seeing it in your inventory. It's just a like green leafy
suft that you might put in the pipe it's got.

(02:19:07):
It's definitely got some healingproperties.
OK. I'd say he can use a bonus
action if he likes to attempt toreach in and grab something out
of the bag. It is a pre owned bag of
holding. This was the the special
homebrew 1 you guys made. Yes, this is a homebrew item.
It is a pre owned bag of holding.

(02:19:28):
You can reach into the bag to grab something that you put in
it and roll AD 20. If you roll 5 or below, you pull
out a piece of junk. If you roll A6 or above, you
pull out what you were reaching in there for.
If it was in there, it doesn't have it if you didn't put it in
there, but it does have some junk in there.

(02:19:49):
I didn't even realize that the ointment heals poison.
If you have the most feed and ifYamas allows it, you can come to
me and borrow mine. I would allow you guys to share
an item if you if you want to make it up there to them, but
there is no antidote in the bag of holding.

(02:20:11):
Yeah, I, I. I like where you're at.
I like where your head's at, butI I got to play it like it is
like had you put something in there, I'd let you try to pull
it out. OK.
Yeah. No, I haven't put it in.
Yeah. Now if I ran up there, would it
be a bonus action still? Yeah, it would be the same thing
to, to use somebody else's item. You, you know, like I'm sure I

(02:20:33):
could, you know, play it like Garrett help action, you know,
here hold, you know, or whatever, like holds it out and
you grab it to use it as a bonusaction.
Yeah, I have a reaction. Yeah, I'd I'd allow him to burn
his reaction to do that. OK.
Then that's if you're up to giving it to me, I will run up

(02:20:54):
to Garrett and then run this. Did you give the tree a good
wide berth? Well, Yep, it was 37 feet from
where I ran and I didn't touch him.
OK. So that left me with three feet
of movement. OK, I'll say you were able to to
dodge around that a little bit. He he ran between the

(02:21:15):
direwolves, right? Yeah.
OK. And they provide half cover and
then so would I need? Does it just automatically cure
it? Yeah.
So go ahead, you would have to. Add Health.
You would roll 2D8 and get 2 D 8+ 2 and C is to be poisoned.

(02:21:39):
Yeah, so thank you Sir. Yep.
And I will just take a charge off of that.
So 6 for 11 + 2. Oh, but if I hit my Max, it just
yields me to Max, right? I don't get.
It bro you don't get you don't. There's no over heel.

(02:22:01):
Yeah. OK.
So I'm just back at Max son. Yeah, and I'm sure I've I'm not.
Poison points down and not poisoned.
You are no longer poisoned. That is important.
Thing Oh long. I just, well, that's what I
said. I just thank God that it didn't

(02:22:22):
hurt me every round. Yeah, I don't.
I, I, I was, I was. I always thought that like
damage like that propped over time, but it doesn't like fire
damage doesn't, you know, Unlessyou're right.
That's my. Left No, I have 3 feet so one

(02:22:47):
second he is. In a rock, you're between a rock
and a hard place up here with Garrick, I will say that.
Right, those 3 feet would be here.
My sister could put me within 5 feet, yes.

(02:23:07):
So I'm going to make my second attack on the 8 awaken tree.
OK, go ahead. While you roll your attacks,
Garrick's going to end dwarven fashion.
Be like welcome to the fight youpointy eared.
Glad to join you and I'm guessing in eight misses.

(02:23:30):
Yes, and eight misses. All right.
And then that will be the end ofmy turn.
Thank you. You dwarf.
I appreciate that. All right, I will say we are
getting pretty close to the end with, you know, only these two
guys left and next turn it is the awakened tree and it is

(02:23:51):
going to hit Rubrushian. You can try.
Yeah, you guys does a 25 hit. Yes, yes, it does OK. 18 damage
I'm. Gonna try to deflat.

(02:24:12):
You can try. I deflect 10 of it at least.
You deflect 10 of it, yes. So you you said 18.
Damage. Yeah, you take 8 damage, all
right? That is Inar's turn, all right.

(02:24:34):
Let's see, I'm going to take a shot at the monkey.
And right. Yeah, I'm going to do some that
shadow arrow again. OK, just don't roll in that one.
Oh gosh, you said. It does a 13 hit.
A 13 does hit ping pong. Nice.

(02:24:56):
OK. And roll your damage going.
To put a fire on that one too, so OK.
You can do shadow and fire. I I think you can do fire with
any hit. It says this is when you get a
target with an attack you can roll and deal damage to it.
OK. OK, so.

(02:25:17):
This. Yeah.
It's because you're a a fire. Yeah.
OK. Fire giant.
Yeah. 2D6. So this is your second time
using it. You, you know, you get 2 per.
Yeah, right. Yeah, 2 per.
That's it. So OK so for the first damage
it's an 8. Now I do this psychic damage and

(02:25:40):
it was 2D6SO5 psychic damage andhe can only see 5 feet away from
him till the start of my next chart.
Holy moly. Well, good thing Garrick is
right there. Also also he's just since I've

(02:26:01):
got the mastery, he's he's vexedtoo.
OK, OK, so that was my action. So I think I'm going to switch
over to with my bonus action. I'm going to, I'm going to equip
my vicious great sword and then I'm going to run up here.

(02:26:23):
I'm going to get over here in the mix with these guys, get the
ruler out. Probably going to be right about
a year. All right, so you ran, you know,
North. You ignored that healing potion.
OK, that's on the ground. All right?
Yeah, nobody wants that. I got you.
All right. Cool.

(02:26:44):
So you're right there at the awakened tree, standing between
the two dead wolves. Is that your end of your turn?
Probably should do. Yep, Yep. 1515.
Yeah, Roud is loving you. They're also kind of pissed that
y'all ain't taking their healingpotions.

(02:27:04):
They spent good money on that tothrow them in at you guys and.
And nobody's taking them, so they're holding on to them.
All right. Next up is Saul.
Sorry. Can we pick them up after we
kill all these animals? You can try.

(02:27:24):
OK, well Saul, it is your turn. Ready.
What did you say about the healing potion?
You could use it as a bonus action, but it's you have to
roll. If you use it as a bonus action,
you roll the potion for it. If you use it as a full action,
you take the foot, the maximum benefit.
Oh, OK, I think I'll do bonus action, take the healing potion,

(02:27:47):
stick shield. Yeah, then I will shoot a
sorceress first at the monkey. He loves it. 20. 626 hits.
You're the head 6 lightning, damn it.
OK, and I think it's all my game.

(02:28:08):
That's all you're going to do. All righty, all righty.
Next up it is Garrick Flame Cleaver.
They don't have to stand up. No, you don't, for a change.
But now that now that my allies are free of the thing Ray, I am

(02:28:32):
going to continue wailing ping pong.
But first I got to roll those temp.
Guy. Yeah.
That is another 5 temp hit points and I pretty sure this
guy's going to hit me whether ornot he has advantage so.

(02:28:53):
Yeah. I'm going to reckless.
Her swing is a nine. Thank God I'm holding the
advantage. Yeah, yeah.
I see that you missed what was your.
Other one My other role was the Gnat 1.

(02:29:14):
Oh yeah, Good thing you recklessto tell you, all right.
Yeah, that is a miss. Go ahead with the fucking
attack. Oh no, wait, wait, wait.
I still graze him. Oh yeah.
I graze him for three damage. OK, every little bit helps I.

(02:29:35):
AM. Going to roll with advantage
again. Yeah.
That is a 25. Does that hit?
Yes it does. I'm going to savage attack to
roll twice. And.
That's. For the audience.

(02:29:56):
For the audience, I rolled 11:00and 11:00, so that'll be
thirteen damage. Are you going to choose the 11?
Yeah, I chose the 11. Wow.
All right. And then and how far are these
potions? So I'm going to, I'm going to

(02:30:18):
make you kind of. About 30 foot.
I'm going to make you a little upset with me.
I'm. Going to make you a little upset
with me. Go ahead.
Can I can I bonus action to pickit up while I run with a with a
check like an athletics or something?
Oh, you want to run down there, grab it and come back?

(02:30:38):
Yep. OK, yeah, you'll get a you'll,
he'll get an opportunity attack.I'll let you do the same exact
thing. The Athletics, what was it?
Sleight of hand, wasn't it? I have 50 feet of movement.
It's 33 feet away. And sacrifice 5 foot.
That's what I did for Saul. Sacrifice 5 foot.
Sacrifice foot slide, A hand check.

(02:31:01):
It'll be two feet. No, you know what?
I'm going to stay here because Idon't want to risk him getting
behind close to holder. Got the tree there.
OK, I will advise her. OK, damn, I really wanted you to
go for that healing potion. It is Ping Pong's turn.

(02:31:22):
He is actually give me a performance check real quick.
Real quick one. We're going to read through some
of these performance checks. I can't believe I missed.
That's a 16. I like, they're like, all right,
yeah. Screw that healing potion.
You don't need it. Garrick.

(02:31:43):
Garrick. Yeah, they're singing your song.
I get knocked down, but I get upagain and Ping Pong's going to
attack you twice. Actually, let me recharge.
Roll for the recharge. He almost got it.
No two hits on you. Oh, he's, he's, he's.

(02:32:07):
Blind, but I guess he can see him.
He's that, yeah. He's within 5 foot of him.
Yeah, he he's, yeah, just under the shadow.
So does a 16 hit. Meets it, beats it all.
Right, so does God damn you takehalf of 30 damage.

(02:32:33):
So. That will drop me down 15
points. He is taking his second attack.
Does a Nat Holy shit Nat 20. Does a 29 hit Nat 20?
Yeah. Do you guys want a screenshot or
do you trust me? I trust you.

(02:32:53):
OK. Ouch.
Yeah, that is nuts. Roll ones.
Roll ones. Basically, yeah.
What this? We saw it once with a crit.
Let's say it again. 19 damage onhis crit.
One second, I actually need to double check that.

(02:33:16):
Yeah, 19, yeah. OK, that hurt.
I'll bet I'm, you know, like I've been rolling like dog shit.
I put these really strong monsters thinking you guys would
actually have a challenge. You guys have been whomping them
because I've been rolling like dog shit.
Well, let's just say you you gotme below half.

(02:33:38):
Finally. All right.
That is about all he can do. He ain't going to leave the
fight, He ain't going to leap. He can't see where he's going.
Does he do any sort of save awayfrom Shadow from now Aynar?
Say that again, I don't know. Shadow Arrow only lasts until
the start of Aynar's next turn. OK, so, OK, so he'd have to hit

(02:34:01):
me again with it to keep it going.
OK, so end of his turn. All right, Next up, it is
Rebrusian. Rebrusian, good Sir, you like to
punch a tree again? I think this time I'm gonna
start panting, Elvis. My hand starts to turn to the

(02:34:22):
cold death touch. And I'm gonna.
Try to touch the tree with chilltouch.
OK, I believe that's necrotic. Yes, there's a 13 hit.
Yes, it does. Meets it, beats it.
All right, it's going to take 2D10 necrotic damage and it

(02:34:45):
takes three damage 3 but they also can regain hit points until
the end of my next turn. Yeah, if if it tried to heal.
All right. And then I am to hold on close.
This. OK use my last focus point and

(02:35:07):
do area of blows does a 25 hit yes all.
Right. I I will tell you, I did not
realize this tree was going to be my weakest guy.
Oh. No.

(02:35:30):
It's a gun damage, yes. Yeah.
Then is this still alive? Yes, it's still alive.
It's it's it's Hardy. It's just you guys are chipping
away at it. Yeah.
Well when you hit a creature, soI'm going to add the topple
effect for flurry of blows. When you hit a.

(02:35:52):
Creature I I will say this OK, because of a nerf that I did for
him, I will I basically ignored his resistances of of bludging
and bludgeoning and piercing. But with that he's a 40 foot
tall tree. I'm I'm going to say punching

(02:36:14):
him a monk punchman is not goingto topple him.
OK. I'll just let I'll, I'll tell
you that right there kind of, you know, turn, turn about fair
play limit. On it.
Yeah, that there's that as well. He's huge, so.
Yeah. Several reasons.
Up to large creatures. Yes, for several reasons.

(02:36:38):
I'm going to say no. The monk punch cannot topple the
tree that has, you know, ignoredthe resistances.
I'm going to give myself a little boon there.
A little. Are whomping me.
He did take the damage though. I will.
I like I said I I will. You did the damage.

(02:37:01):
Yeah, but I but since it was flurry of blows, I do get to
attack again. OK.
And this is your last key point, correct?
Yes. OK.
Oh, where's Flurry and Flow? Same place you've been clicking
it this whole time but I accidentally.

(02:37:23):
Scrolled away 15 I just keep. Hit.
Yeah, no. Crime 15 does hit.
That is for 10 damage. Yeah, it is.
He is right fucked. And then I'll look at that.
I always. Have to look at his name to say

(02:37:45):
it. Sorry Waldo Inar and say finish
films. Hell yeah.
I didn't. I didn't say he was on dad's
door, just right fucked up. Well, I still say it, and that's

(02:38:05):
the end of my terms. OK, OK, I'm going to kind of
skip the performance check, kindof give them all like this is
the towards the end and everybody in the crowd feels it.
They're all amped up, you know, there there's really nothing
that's going to bring them down right now.
They are they're there's bodies on the field.
There's, you know, punches and and weapons being tossed around

(02:38:28):
and, and pretty soon a dwarf is going to go flying across the
arena. Yeah, they they are amped up.
They are amped the fuck up. So yes, Next up is that awakened
tree. Why did you hit me?
You can't knock me down. You need an X for that.

(02:38:52):
And he's going to take his attack at you.
That's a 12 hit. This guy sucks.
I built this arena for him. Him and the monkey, all right.
It's it's it's the World Tree and bark preventing.

(02:39:14):
I know. Hurting anyone.
Praise. Bark.
Praise bark, even Yamas. You know, like a proxy of Pebble
can't use a tree to harm. Oh my goodness, it's this just
DND 721 lore. All right, Einar, it is your
turn. All right, Einar is going to

(02:39:38):
take a couple steps back. He's going to take off running.
He's going to get an opportunityto attack on you.
Oh, I want to. I'm going to run at the tree I
want to run. And oh.
OK, OK, this is part. Of my attack, right?
So I want to get up here, I wantto jump up, and I want to try to
get up on the tree. OK, make give an athletics

(02:40:00):
check. Give an athletics check with
disadvantage to climb a tree that doesn't want you to climb
it. All right, let's do it.
Look at that. Oh I got a Nat 20 and then a
nine, so 1515. I'm going to say you get up
about 10 foot and the tree is just swinging its branches

(02:40:22):
around its bat knee in the back of the head and the neck and
everything. But yeah, you get about up about
10 foot with that and that's allall all you can get up before it
really starts to hurt you. OK, attack it with my great
sword. OK.
Does a 15 hit. Yes, a 15 does hit.

(02:40:43):
OK. So that's eight damage, and I've
got Gray's as well. So add 3 to that.
Nope. Isn't that no great Gray's as if
you miss. Oh yeah, OK, right.
Isn't it? Yeah, yeah.
So 88 damage. Yes, Sir.

(02:41:03):
And you, you don't get to do flame or anything like that
anymore. Yeah, yeah, flame.
Yeah, I got one more flame. OK, I will say this something
that I just realized. You've done a bit of flame
damage, right? Twice to this guy, correct?
No, I think this is the first one.

(02:41:24):
Yeah, this is the first one. He did the flame to flame the
ape last time. That's right to the ape, that's
right, flame it. You know, this guy is vulnerable
to fire, so I believe that meanshe takes double damage because
it's the opposite of resistance. So that two becomes a four and

(02:41:46):
you need 12 damage. Nice.
Because the eight plus the four, yeah, oof.
This dude's he, he's losing limbs, he's losing branches.
He's still got some, but he's he's hurting guys.
All right. I think for the last bit of my
turn I'm going to use my last second wind and try to get some

(02:42:09):
health here all. Right, The crowd is going nuts
while you heal yourself up and. On that one, but.
Yeah, at least it was a heel andnot a an attack roll.
All right, so that brings us is,is that the end of your turn?
That is the end of my turn. Thank you.

(02:42:29):
OK, that brings us over to Saul.Saul, you've got your illusions.
You've, you know, you're kind ofstacked and ready to go to, to,
to deal some range backup damageover there, buddy.
Yeah, let's get this. Alright, I'm going to.
Let's see. I'm gonna burn another second

(02:42:54):
level spell, get back more sorcery points, and and I will
shoot a sorcery's burst at the monkey.
Send it. The 19 or 19, I guess it's a

(02:43:17):
19A. 19 is a hit. All right, Eights.
Oh, eights. 7 lightning damage. 7 Lightning.
He's he does not like getting shocked.
I'll tell you what. That's basically all I can.
Do. That's right.
He's he's hurting. He's hurting, he's definitely

(02:43:40):
covered, he's bloodied, he's covered in blood, he's panting
hard. He's, you know, salivating.
He's, you know, bleeding from his mouth.
You know it's a little bit of smoke coming out of his ears
from all this lightning damage. Y'all are doing all this flame
damage. You know he's not a happy
camper. Which Speaking of flame damage,

(02:44:00):
it is Garrick flame cleaver. The crowd is going nuts.
Garrick, it is your turn and youare standing right underneath a
pissed off bleeding. Some of this blood is dripping
down on you. I need to mention I reread the
ointment and it does specify it is an action.

(02:44:23):
OK. Moving forward, we will treat it
as an action. I apologize.
I've got a. No, it's that's my.
Fault. I didn't fully read it.
I know you got a lot of stuff. However, I am going to attack
recklessly. All right.

(02:44:44):
That is a 24 to hit. A 24 does hit.
Go ahead. And I'm going to roll twice,
actually, You know what? I'm going to keep that damage.
OK. Wait.
Well, yeah, I'll keep that damage.
OK. So that is 16 damage and then

(02:45:04):
I'm going to attack again. That is a 16 hit that.
That's a hit. All right, and now I will roll
twice. Good call.
That is 1313 damage. 13 damage. There you go.
This dude is looking right fucked up.

(02:45:27):
I'm. Gonna.
Take a rundown for that ocean. OK, take an opportunity attack.
Yep, no advantage because I impose disadvantage on
opportunity attacks. OK, does a 22 hit.
It does. Oh I'm sorry I forgot to roll my

(02:45:50):
temp health before you roll yourdamage.
That will be 8 temporary health.OK.
You take that right back becausehe does 16 damage on the
opportunity attack. Cut in half to 8.
OK, OK, go ahead, run down and get your potion.
Will do. Will do.

(02:46:10):
All right, pause. I am excited for this.
This is the first time any I mean INR got close.
You can grab your healing potion.
Go ahead and grab it. And then I'd like to, I'd like
the bonus to actually use that. OK, go ahead and use it.
And I rolled a four and a three.So that's nine health back.
'Cause you just stepped in a ring of poison from this

(02:46:32):
poisonous Fern that Einar has been standing right at the edge
of and I've been waiting for himto like trip over the edge this
whole time and nobody messed up and and hit the the poisonous
Fern. You are going to take 1D6 poison
damage. 4 damage and you are poisoned.

(02:46:54):
Taft tattoo because I'm a dwarf and I'm resistance resistant to
poison. OK, but you're still poisoned.
So half. That's the two.
OK. And every turn you stay in here,
you will get attacked by that. I will.
Use I uninvisible the circle that it's around it.

(02:47:17):
Well, I just ran 3032 feet except 5 to pick that up right.
So I will mainly 12 feet back tothe north.
OK, back towards ping pong. Yeah, OK.
And that will be my turn. I will do my performance OK.

(02:47:43):
Yep, Yep, go ahead. The the crowd is losing their
mind. They they knew that that Fern
was there. They saw it from the last match
and they are like, yeah, anotherperson got it.
Oh all. Right.
Garrett's loving the attention and he just brushes off his
shoulder. Right on.
All right. Anything else you'd like to do?

(02:48:05):
No, that'll be my turn. That's an 11 third performance.
Yeah, the the crowd's on their feet, all right.
He does not recharge. Oh my God.
All. Right, so.
He is. Going to get off Ruler.
The closest person to him reallyis Ribushian, so he is running.

(02:48:31):
Up. To Ribushian and he's going to
take his attacks. I'm sorry.
No, I'm sorry. Ribushian, This dude's hitting
hard. Does a 15 hit?
It does not Ho ho ho. Ho all.
Right. And the next one.

(02:48:52):
Does a 17 hit lows? But no.
Oh my God, really? You bounce you, you're dodging
you're. You're bouncing, you're dodging,
you know, like. And he's just monkey slamming
down. Getting more pissed that he
can't hit you. Holy shit, he can't hit you.

(02:49:14):
Yeah, yeah, he misses. Holy cow.
Ping Pong misses. The crowd is losing their minds.
So like, they can't believe it. Like, you see this poor little
dark elf child, like a little toddler child with A at shirt
that has a picture of Ping Pong and he's just, there's an ice
cream cone that, that the ice cream just fell off.
He's so sad. His hero just missed moving

(02:49:41):
Rabushi, and it is your rebuttalyou you've got.
This giant. Ape and this giant.
Tree with Einar climbed up in it.
So with two attacks I do like some crossing tiger hidden
dragon, do a punch at the tree and a kick at the.
Ape OK, so I will take my punch at the tree first.

(02:50:06):
Just don't roll in that one. Does a. 15.
Hit a 15. Does.
Hit the tree all right. And he takes. 6 damage now.
My. Attack on the.
Monkey OK does a 10 hit, a 10 does not hit.

(02:50:29):
Well then my only option. Is to use my bonus.
Action and attack. The monkey again.
OK, go ahead. Does a 24 hit that hits a rat
or? 11 He.
Howls. In pain.

(02:50:50):
Rabrusian. Prussian.
With your bear, no weapons, hands, you're punching
everything around here. Tell us how you kill Ping Pong.
How big is he again? He's huge.

(02:51:11):
Like how tall is he though I would say.
What did I say earlier about? 2030 Foot. 20 foot.
OK, I can't quite remember. Exactly what I said, but yeah.
He's he's up. There.
So I tick him in his right ankleto make him off balance and I

(02:51:31):
take his left sweep out his left.
And then I run up him, do a front flip somersault.
To. Land my foot right to his skull.
Yeah, I'll allow that. Give a performance with
advantage just. I want to.
I just want to see it. The crowd is on their feet.

(02:51:54):
That little boy with the the with the ping pong T-shirt is
bawling his eyes out. He's boom, he's This is the
first time he's ever and and youknow some of the people are
turning on you 'cause he's theirhero.
And yeah. But everybody's up on their
feet. They are loving this.
Let me tell you what ping pong is that the ping is dead.

(02:52:18):
The ping is dead. Wow, guys, wow.
All right, The next turn is the awakened tree.
All come back. No.
And he reaches to attack this freaking giant.
That is trying to climb up his up his trunk and.

(02:52:43):
He is going to swing at INR whenthere's a 25 hit 25 hits, take 9
damage. Please good Sir, can I not get
any of you guys? Down Jesus.
All right, next time I do this, I'm really not gonna hold back.
I'm gonna, I'm gonna be throwingoff the crap at you guys, All

(02:53:04):
right? That is the Awakened.
Tree's turn. It is.
INR, your turn, you are ticklingthe tree.
Yeah, I'm tickling the tree trying to break them off as I'm
climbing up and you are and you're you are breaking.
You're breaking. Shit off as you climb.
Go ahead. Yeah, I'm gonna try to climb as
high as I can go. And then?

(02:53:24):
And I'm. Gonna try to chop at him.
With my great sword here and. This is what the.
This should be with advantage. OK, I'll take a 19 either of
those hit. Let me tell you guys, these
beasts they're they're they're beefy hit points, not beefy

(02:53:45):
armor. So.
Yeah, 19 hits, 18 hits. Either of those hits.
Fantastic. Jesus, I forgot he was that low.
Inar tell me what damage do you do?
I just cut climb up all the way to the top and I jump up and
then I fall down. As I do, I try to I.

(02:54:08):
Just drag my. Sword right down his trunk 14
damage. Is that I'm sorry, I didn't I, I
oh. Yeah, 14.
Yeah, I mean that it don't it don't matter you only had two.
Hit points. You hit him anyway with the
plus. Three to hit to attack.
Yeah, or +3 damage. You, you boom, you leap back

(02:54:33):
almost into the air, right into the air, and you swing your.
Great. Sword.
Down right into the bark. And you Peter Pan like, like
Peter Pan going down the sail ofa pirate ship.
You know, just right down ripping the bark and digging
into the meat and the tree ballsover split in two long ways.

(02:54:58):
And that, my friends, is all themonsters on the board bleeding
and dead. You've got a little dark elf boy
crying that his hero is dead. You've got a whole group of
occultists, you know, wailing and gnashing their teeth that
you killed their their awakened tree.

(02:55:18):
And as you guys are laying there, not quite as bloodied,
not quite as beat as you have been in the past.
Wow. The guards rush out.
They stomp on all any potions that are left on the ground.
And. They surround you, start start

(02:55:39):
grabbing you out. Do you guys have any final
things to say before they take you back to the elevator?
Yeah, Garrick's still in a rage,so he attacks.
OK, this is our time. To escape, let's go.
I. I'd like.

(02:55:59):
To do a perception. Check and see if the.
Guard that was taking notes on their clipboard is in Group out
here. He's not the the IT is sort of
the awaken it like I didn't bother to put them on this map,
but you can. Ask the others.
The the floor guards that I haveare awakened armor.

(02:56:20):
They have 24 I believe it's 24 ACA, hundred hit points and
multi attacks and are immune to a lot of damage.
Do you want to attack them? I'm sorry I can't.
I can't hear that stunned silence.
Would you like to attack the guards?
I'm trying to decide while you're mean while.

(02:56:40):
You're. Deciding 1 of Reliefri's mages,
Boom casts sleep on. You he is a level 20.
You are asleep and you are going.
How? Many How many hit points?
How many hit? How many hit points of sleep was
that? Does that work?
Alright, let let me roll with that real quick.
I I was going to say I take my ointment.

(02:57:01):
Amazing he rolled 90 damage. Of sleep damage.
Actually, mud, you weren't far off.
Yeah, he he rolled. 88 damage for sleep well with my.
With my. Potion of my temp hit points.
All right, it's over it. It is 1230 the the.
Joking so. So Garrick decided.

(02:57:24):
To try to escape. And was immediately.
Put to sleep as he was staring at these almost impossible
guards coming at him. And yeah, he he's dragged off
unceremoniously thrown into the back of the elevator.
The guards look at you guys and say, are we going to have any
more trouble? And we could do this the hard
way or the easy way. Back to the elevator, bitches.

(02:57:46):
As you guys, can we grab some chicken wings so we can eat some
bare owl tonight from the owl bear?
I thought I thought you were proving to something else, like
the Eric Crocker incident. Yeah, I'll let you guys.
Grab some. You guys grab some owl bearer
trunks. On your way out, They'll
they'll, they'll he's right by the door.
Nobody's going to say anything Yeah.

(02:58:08):
Y'all are eating some owl bearerBuffalo wings.
Well, well, hold on before you say everyone because you ever
want people to do it the hard way.
I don't say anything. I just.
Spit in this relief freeze card.Relief Freeze mage cast sleep on
you. You go down.
He does. Yeah, I was being nice to you

(02:58:31):
guys. I would have had 142 sleep
damage, These guards 142 sleep damage.
A. 142 sleep damage. Yeah, they're getting you pissed
off. A stronger guard.
All right, all right. So does anybody else?

(02:58:56):
You know what? The guards.
Just grab you and throw you all.In there then.
Because we tried to give you a. Chance to to.
To say goodbye to the crowd. But you know, and they slam the
gate, everything goes dark. And gentlemen, that is where we
will end this arena. Bravo, that was OK.

(02:59:19):
I I've. Got to tell you guys.
I've got to tell you guys and. And we'll keep this.
Outro Short so so. Everybody in the audience.
Knows yes, this. We we just did a four and a
half. Hour arena battle.
I did not want to make it a 2 parter.
I am exhausted. I have been at it since 6:00
this morning. Screw me for, for, for, for

(02:59:40):
making a big beefy battle. My intent was that you guys
would be able to hit these guys really hard and these guys would
be able to hit you guys really hard.
I've tried to give you guys as much abilities to to deal some
massive damage, and you did. Be fair, you did.
You guys dealt some amazing hits.
I am so glad we saw one of the critical hits on those special

(03:00:04):
weapons. I really hope you guys enjoyed
this. My goal was purely to make you
guys feel like this was a gladiatorial bare knuckle these
steel fight. OK, I so I took all kinds of
damage this time you got. Yeah, I I definitely wanted to
spread the damage around Saul. I felt kind of bad.

(03:00:26):
That I was chasing you with a giant monkey.
So it's like I I wasn't trying to pick on anybody specific,
just kind of spread the damage around.
I honestly did not think that awakened tree was that weak and
I am very very upset with how weak he was to defend the tree

(03:00:51):
he was attacking. A barbarian.
Half the fight and he did this alot.
That is true. That is true and old like shit
and I I old like shit. I will say I'm very glad the
monkey missed on. A version because I realized.

(03:01:12):
After I ran away that he was doing. 30 damage a hit and he's
got +9. Anybody who avoided a hit by the
monkey, count your blessings. He's got a + 9 to hit.
OK. And if he had recharged his
throat, my intent was for him and and I had hit my intent for

(03:01:36):
him was to be throwing bodies atyou guys, you know, like I
wanted to have that owl bear moment alive or dead.
And it was I, I did not intend intend to kill the owl bear, but
Oh well if it did. But if he had gotten his, if he

(03:01:56):
had gotten his boulder attack back, his toss attack back, you
know, I was going to treat you guys as, you know, ammo, you
know he was going to throw you guys.
I know that's not exactly as themonster stat blockers are
written, but it have been prettycool.
He was going to throw the wolves, he was going to throw

(03:02:17):
you guys, but he just could not recharge it.
So I want to comment on that. So you guys don't know this.
Well, you might. You might have heard me say it.
My feature for my dwarf is speedy and as a dwarven
barbarian I have increased speedso my movement speed is 50.

(03:02:40):
So it would have been funny for him to throw me and have have my
guy use a dash action and just run across the battlefield
because with freedom of movement, I wouldn't lose speed
in the water. So the dwarf would be would have
just like ran over the water basically to get back and and

(03:03:02):
and let's talk about the the water.
Nobody actually didn't investigate.
Check. On it the water.
Was only like a foot to 2 foot deep.
OK, just enough to hide the Stingray.
Oh, I did an investigation check.
I just did you. You didn't do well.
That is. That is right.
Yeah. You didn't do well enough to see
like. You know, I I just said and you

(03:03:23):
pass it, but yeah, you took takea.
Stick and you stick it in the water.
And it's about two foot. Deep you know there was another
element to this map that Yamas left out with the probably did
with the awakened tree when it woke.
Up all the living trees on the map were.
Supposed to become hostile. Where they would try to grab you

(03:03:44):
trip. You impose disadvantage.
I did. Completely forget about it and
that is why you know what mud? Fuck me.
Because that would have. Been so much we all.
We would have died, you guys. You guys would have all been
thrown. Well, we could have moved.
We could have moved to the water.

(03:04:05):
Yeah, I mean there. Was a lot of different ways to
like. Deal with it also like any fire
damage to the humble trees. Would have stopped them, and the
idea was that it would also encourage you.
To kill the living tree faster to make the rest of the trees
stop. I I will say for future the
poisonous Fern, you had the nameout without us doing investigate

(03:04:27):
checks. I feel like you would have.
Yeah, that name was out the second we hit the arena.
I I did not know that he was supposed to be invisible.
Yeah, that's why nobody went near.
OK, it is such a tiny icon, I thought I had that invisible.

(03:04:47):
I am so sorry guys. I I.
Ruined that. I am so sorry.
No, it's it didn't ruin it. It just, you know, you guys
didn't, you guys didn't see the you guys didn't see the.
Circle though it was like a no, we didn't see the circle around
it. Yeah, I know.
Like had you gone even near likein in its reach And you're like,

(03:05:10):
does anybody go to the potion? And everyone's like, no.
And you're like and it's. Like really, no one's going.
I'm like, why aren't they? Down there.
I'm like I. Did not know.
That you. Guys, I.
OK so new DM issues. I'm sorry I.
I forgot the big. Important.

(03:05:31):
Feature for The Awakens. Tree.
I just had so much going on. I I really should have written
that down and had that like in its notes.
I I I do also want to say that Inoticed an irony.
I almost took the pan flute and would have been able to.
Summon a swarm of rats to fight a swarm of snakes, I thought as

(03:05:55):
soon as I saw this. Well, yeah, you would have had
to agree that there was rats in the area and my guy has to.
My guy would have to be proficient with them.
So let me let me tell you guys something about the the pipe of
the sewers and and why it's still there.
If somebody wants to get it, it's think about it for the
arena. Battles, you're in a city.

(03:06:17):
Yeah, This is you're in the middle of a big city.
This would be where to use swarmof rats or summon rats.
But I was just laughing that it would have been rats versus
snakes. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But keep jot. Down notes for what you guys
thought of this because if we doanother dice.

(03:06:38):
Discussions, community dice discussions, which we probably
will. You know, that's some good
fodder to talk about. You know, some good stuff to
talk about, like, you know, different arena battles that you
liked or disliked. I mean, I'm sure there's a lot
of bears for this one. I know I've got some now that
reminded me of some, some of my badassery that I completely

(03:06:59):
forgot. Yeah, there was.
There was a little bit of nerfing on my part just because
like some of the things were completely unfair.
Like this was a deadly encounter.
You guys. I was just rolling like dog shit
a lot of the time, excuse me a lot of the time, and you guys

(03:07:20):
were just staying up there. I think I got a couple of you
guys close to death. You know, if I would have taken
one more hit from that Stingray,I would have went out I and I
was trying to kill at least. One of you, you almost got me.
So my original. Plan with my build I I had made

(03:07:42):
my character last and realized. There was no Keeling so I almost
played a Clairer but decided to roll a barbarian and said but I
went way of the the world tree so that I could give that temp
HP you guys but you had to be within 10 feet of me and I was

(03:08:03):
surrounded by enemies and I didn't want you to come over for
3/10. Pit points.
Just to get hit by a wolf for walking up to me and take 10
damage. So it it still worked out, but
this this was a beast swarm. Yeah, this was a beast swarm.

(03:08:24):
I'm glad that it was a lot of. Martial combat saw you from the
back hiding behind that owl bearcarcass, throwing, throwing your
arcane bolts in your those slows, man, I mean, yeah, had
you hit had yeah, those slows. I knew, I knew that was was
nasty, but gosh, it just keeps up saving.

(03:08:46):
So I was like, yeah, well, that first one.
It had you not hit him with thatand he had he saved on that slow
for the first one, he would have.
Got you first turn. He would have gotten to you
first turn, you know, like his first turn that he came after
you like he he would have gottento you, hands down.
All right, with that, I would like to call that and yeah, we

(03:09:10):
are running late. So the the most important.
Question. Hasn't been asked yet, and we're
not going to ask it and we're not going to.
