The old crew of the USCSS Chronus comes clean about what's happening on the derelict ship: ancient artifacts scavenged from the alien planet they were sent to survey are causing an airborne virus that has infected some of the crew. Armed with this new knowledge, the crew of the Montero begin to turn on each other as they struggle to survive the hazards of the alien threat, the virus, and worst of all each other...
