Speaker 1 (00:02):
Welcome to all things
money.
I'm so excited.
Let me make sure we're livehere on Instagram, because this
is going to be new for me.
Now, the truth is that there'sall things money.
There's two or three ways thatI want you to think about money,
and here's what's excitingwe're going to be here all week.
(00:22):
I made a decision to do thisbecause last week, I was in the
mountains with some of theseamazing women who flew in from
all across the world and othercountries to spend backdoor time
with me.
In this space of more, what doesit mean to want more?
What does it mean to desiremore?
What does it mean to ask formore?
And it's like my gosh everytime in 2023, 2022 that I ran
(00:46):
across great humans who werejust what's the right word?
I feel like they were trying tomake apologies to other people
for wanting more, and I thoughtthat that was ridiculous.
Now, all summer long, I'm goingto be going through what does
it mean to actually want more,to have more, to leverage more,
to seek more?
(01:07):
But I decided today that thisweek is going to be all things
money.
If you stay plugged into us, doDTDT nation, or you can find me
personally at Tiffany Largy.
Then some way shape, form orfigure you'll be dialed into
different content that's goingin different places as we are
(01:29):
teaching what is the money game, the money strategy and how do
we?
One of the coolest things everis me being reminded last week
that we are stronger together.
Now, this is not going to be amotivational journey.
This is going to be me breakingdown these three concepts of
money how do I keep?
How do I make more money?
How do I, what do I do withmoney once I have it?
(01:51):
And then the third part of itis how do I keep more of the
money that I'm making?
I can't tell you how sick itmakes me sometimes when I look
at great humans who are justspending money and not
leveraging more of the moneythat they're spending, and it
sounds nuts.
It sounds like we have thiswhole game wrapped up.
But I'm going to tell you youimagine if you could make the
(02:14):
same amount of money that youmade last year.
You make it this year, butsomehow you're 25% richer.
The name of the game is more, not more work, not more drama,
not more of what we don't want, more of what our heart is vying
for.
Like I got to a point a coupleof years ago where I got sick
(02:35):
and tired of trying to makeaccommodations for what I wasn't
, what I, what I felt, peopletrying to make me feel guilty
for wanting more.
There's this idea out there, especially when it comes to
women, that we can't have more.
We can't want more because it'staboo.
It's it does.
There's not really a place forit, especially when we're a
(02:56):
caregiver.
We're just supposed to give andgive, and give and give and
give, and then it's bad if that,if we have a moment of wanting
Now, we take, we take stridesinto saying, oh, I'm going to
dive into self care and that isme feeding my want.
But is it really?
If you think about the moneythat you've made or the moves
that you've made and at DTDTnation, we're very, very clear
(03:19):
that it's all about making bossmoves and wherever you are right
now, I'm going to ask you toentertain me on social media, as
this is my first time doing aweek and a very long time, and
I'm going to ask you to writethe words boss moves only inside
of whatever chat you haveaccess to throughout every
single day.
I'm going to be doing twothings.
(03:40):
One, I'm going to be lookingfor the person who was
commenting or connecting orasking questions the most and
I'm going to send them a gift.
Every day, I'm going to choosea person, send them a gift.
I'm going to highlight theirname to our two at least 10,000
people that are on our list.
That is first.
The second thing is I'm goingto be responding to all the
questions and all of thecomments.
(04:01):
So if you have a very specificquestion or you have a comment,
please go ahead and ask thequestion, because the number one
thing that I needed was thegame.
How do I do it?
There is excuses that we canmake about how I did or did not
get it done, or there is man, Ijust, I just.
So let me give you this analogythis morning, we brought in
(04:27):
these two creamers.
Now what's interesting is thatif I said to the team, if I said
to everybody hey, we have thesetwo creamers here, these both
look like really great bottlesof something that I can put in
my coffee, but the truth of thematter is that so often we
settle for whatever is available.
Now I'm going to get into money, but first I got to get into
(04:47):
how your mind's working aroundmoney, how your mind's working
around the value around money, because the truth is that this
is available.
Now, let's just say one of thethings that I love the most is
that I won't say their namebecause I want to respect them.
But we have someone who we'repraying for on a regular basis
who drinks cold coffee all thetime, and what's wild and true
(05:07):
about this cold coffee endeavoris that they walk into the
office, they see the things thatare available, they stop what
they're doing and most of thetime, they head to some form of
a store to go get ice becausethey have decided in their life
that they're not going to drinkhot coffee.
Now, even though I'm concernedand worried about the person
who's not drinking hot coffee, Ijust want to publicly make sure
(05:30):
that that's documented.
It doesn't change the fact thatthey make a decision not to
settle for what's in front ofthem.
My very first statement beforeI'm getting even into money and
all of these amazing notes thatI've written for you.
If you walk in and you say toyourself you know what?
Well, this is fantastic.
I'm really grateful that youguys have this sweet cream,
(05:51):
natural bliss, no milk andcreamer, but I really only drink
oat milk.
I really only enjoy oat milk.
There was a video that I did acouple of months ago because I
walked into a Starbucks and inthe Starbucks there was creamer.
I mean, there wasn't anycreamer and there weren't any
(06:12):
outlets and I was really pissedoff when I got inside of this
thing because I'm like why didStarbucks open their doors if
they don't have espresso, theydon't have creamer, they don't
have oat milk, soy milk, regularmilk, whole milk.
I think they only had coconutmilk and I thought to myself
that's really bold.
I was in this location in LosAngeles and they were out of six
(06:34):
out of the seven melts.
Now I thought to myself I couldhave settled like the other
people who were there and gottena coffee with coconut milk, but
I know that I wouldn't haveenjoyed it.
My very first statement before Iget deeper into just money.
It's like, man, what if youspent the rest of this year not
doing the things that you don'treally enjoy doing because you
(06:54):
just don't want to do them?
What if you stopped settlingfor whatever dollar was
available to you just becauseyou thought that that was or
wasn't the only dollar?
Every single chapter of my life.
I have reflected on not onlyhow I made money, but what have
I done with money once I've madeit.
It started for me making adecision to not settle for
(07:16):
whatever was in front of me.
I have to just put that there.
I don't know where you areright now, and I do know that
you've settled for regular milkcream, even though you really
wanted oat milk at least one toomany times in the last 45 days.
I know you've drank hot coffee, even though you wanted cold
coffee.
(07:36):
I know that you have settled.
I'm asking you right now tostop.
Regardless of where you are,I'm not thinking about last time
you're talking about.
You stopped talking back aboutwhat you did about yourself,
about yourself Gonna break yourevilcomp Plant.
I don't know where it goes, Idon't know where it comes from,
but I can'tействit to what I'vefound.
What I am going to tell you isthat this series is going to
either show you how to Take tofinish this year and take more
of the dollars that you have andto make them go further.
(07:57):
It's either going to show youthe easy money that you're
leaving on the table that youcan implement Immediately,
because that's my guarantee.
Everything that I'm going toteach you can implement, and at
least 24, if not 48, hours.
My goal is that you're donewith it and can see and touch it
within a week, no matter whatplatform you're watching this on
(08:19):
.
There will be no replace andwe're going to pull these down
and all of these are headed intoour dT, dtu, which is our
community, which is ourcommunity based of foundational
training, and which we teach allthings money, mindset and more.
I, um, I want to start with whatare you doing with money, if
(08:44):
ever?
If you take the dollars thatare out of your bank account and
and I'm going to do a highlevel the next four days I'm
going to break them down intomicro pieces.
But I want to give you thesethree really things, simple
things to think about.
Number one you have to have, you have to think to yourself,
like, for me, every dollar thatI spend, every dollar that I
(09:05):
spend, no matter if it's in thebusiness or me personally I'm
looking for a percentage of itto come back to me.
If I had to the location, thething, the, the place, and, and
it's a hundred dollars and I letgo of all hundred dollars and I
don't get any of them back.
That means that every year orevery month or every quarter, I
have to work harder.
(09:25):
The name of the game is notworking harder, the game, the
name of the game is not workingharder.
Am I the only one who's like, let's just not work harder?
The name of the game is notonly not working harder, the
name of the game, and I want tomake sure I can see.
Can I see the actual messagesmyself?
(09:46):
Can I see the data myself?
Okay, okay.
So Got it To the platform, gotit Okay.
Um, even if I enter?
Okay, that's fine, no problem.
(10:12):
Um, so I want to see.
Can you just?
Um, oh, there's no way for meto do this.
Okay, there's not going to be away for me to do it, no problem
.
So for every dollar that I'mspending, I want to make sure
that a percentage of it comesback.
Let me ask you this number onehow much of every dollar?
(10:37):
I want you to set a goal, Iwant you to set an idea how much
of every dollar that you spendI don't care if it's on rent, I
don't care if it's on gas, Idon't care if it's on food.
So here are the areas orcategories that I'm looking for
dollars to come back on.
I'm looking for dollars to comeback on gas.
I'm looking for dollars to comeback on food.
I'm looking for dollars to comeback on entertainment, hotels,
(10:57):
flights, those five categoriesif there's was a six, its
supplies.
Now the extreme, or side areasgoing to be every so often,
every once in a while, when itcomes to my kids, or I've got to
buy those kids shoes and thingslike that.
Yes, sure, but I want you tothink of building a system.
The first thing you need tolike, the first thing, the
(11:20):
strongest thing that everybodycould do right now, is to take a
moment and build a way for youto get some form of dollars back
, no matter what you spend.
I Took about three or fourhours this year and I built a
system.
(11:40):
Now.
I've had multiple systems alongthe way, but as tools, apps
become more sophisticated, I'mlike, oh my gosh, we can do that
.
Like the other day I waslooking at an app that I have
and I have this app and where weget cash back On gas.
And this morning they sent mean email I almost want to show
you the email, the email sent tome and this morning that we can
(12:00):
get a dollar back on every gasof Gallon.
Now stay with a gap Gallon ofgas now stay with me.
That doesn't sound like a bigdeal.
But for the person who's likeman, I need more help.
I'm trying to hire someone tohelp me.
For the person who's like Ihate cooking.
I flipping, hate cooking.
I'm frustrated doing it.
If you're like man, Iabsolutely I hate cooking.
(12:21):
I hate cleaning.
I don't want to do all thesethings myself, or maybe you're
like none of that.
I just want to go somewhere.
I want to get away, and you'relooking for the money within
your budget to do so and it'snot there.
Let me tell you where it'shiding.
It's hiding inside of the cashthat you're leaving with other
people.
I just gave you the five areasthat you should be getting some
(12:42):
form of dollars back.
Now Someone is gonna tell meTiffany, will I get that those
dollars back with my credit card?
Here is so much more money toget back than just with your
credit card.
So, first statement, firstthought, first thing, I'm gonna
ask you to make a note heresomewhere more there's more
money to get back than just withmy credit card, credit, credit
(13:06):
card cashbacks and things likethat, whether it's American,
american Express or AmericanAirlines, they're all great,
they're fantastic, and there isa way and name to that game.
That's, that's good.
But there are even easier waysfor me than keeping track of
with one and moving thingsaround, and so I want to give
you the categories again gas, food supplies, hotel flights and
(13:34):
Supplies.
And then the seventh categorywould be shoes, shoes, clothes,
accessories, things like that.
Nothing is more frustrating forme than to think of how much
money we leave on the table now,if it's two to three thousand,
two to three percent or Tenpercent, and I'm aiming for
about ten percent.
(13:55):
Ten percent of a hundredthousand dollars is ten thousand
dollars, am I right?
It's Monday morning.
It's Monday morning.
Ten percent, ten percent of ahundred thousand dollars is Ten
thousand dollars.
So if you're running a businessor you have a six-figure life
right now and you spend tenthousand, you spend a hundred
(14:17):
hundred thousand dollars doingall the things in your life.
Imagine if, at the end of theyear, you had an extra ten K
just sitting somewhere.
Cut the number in half.
Imagine if you had enough fivecages sitting somewhere.
A couple of a couple of monthsago, I was bewildered when I
looked into an app and I sawthat I had a Couple hundred
(14:41):
dollars to go spend in giftcards.
And I was like this is crazy, because I can use these gift
cards to go to Starbucks, I cango to Home Depot, but then I
could also just put the dollarsin my bank account.
And that's when I said tomyself you know what?
I've been doing this stuff forso long and I don't teach it.
These are the five.
The second thing I'm gonna sayso there's getting.
(15:01):
There is how much of thedollars that I am spending and
am I actually getting back?
This is first.
The second thing I'm gonna sayis that it's not just about
Spending money and then gettingit back.
The other part of this, right.
So the other cool part of thisis that I need.
There's a note coming.
Uh-huh, just tell me.
(15:23):
There's say I'm looking in thewrong place here.
Hi, hello, hello.
He's like stop looking at thelook without looking at the wall
.
What are you doing?
Okay, I'm so sorry.
Hello, so Now I'm gonna look atthe ground.
(15:48):
It's gonna be great.
No, this is gonna be awesome.
So the very first is I need tohave my money go further.
The second thing is that I needto have.
I need to stop spending allthings on a card.
So I'm gonna I'm going to stopthere, but I really want this to
(16:10):
sink in for the right person.
The more you swipe your card, the more Desensitized you are to
how you're spending and I'm notgonna go too much into that.
But swiping your card non-stopendlessly is a dangerous way of
just being, and so, as temptingas it is for me to swipe my card
(16:32):
all the time, I don't swipe mytime, my card all the time.
And I just want you to askyourself a question as I get
ready for the rest of the weekhow often do you actually use
cash to do things?
How often do you use cash to dothings?
The amount of interest thatyou're paying, the amount of
markup that you're paying andthe amount of inability that you
(16:55):
have to Change the price of theitem in front of you is
ridiculous.
I'll tell you that I can't.
I can't even give you a numberas to how many times I've
changed the price of the item infront of Me because of the fact
that I'm offering the merchantcash every time that there's a
purchase paid.
I don't care if it's like apair of headphones I did this on
(17:18):
is on a camera.
A couple of years ago.
The guy said to me I asked himhow much are you paying?
Let me just give you an ideafor what kind of game in dollars
are just out there the guy.
I asked the guy how much areyou paying for your credit card
processing freeze?
I think he told me it was liketwo, two and a half, nine
percent, something like that.
And I said to him great, awesome, if I give you cash,
(17:38):
will you give me a discount ofabout six or seven percent?
Now, this camera was aboutthree, four thousand dollars.
This camera wasn't was aboutthree, four thousand dollars,
and I managed to get maybe sixhundred dollars off of the total
price Simply by me using cashversus the card.
Now I'm just throwing someideas out In these categories
(18:00):
because I want to get youstarted and thinking before I
get into the mechanics.
For the rest of this week, usingcash at a gas station will
allow you to save ten cents pergallon on the average, like just
just an example.
Using gas cash will allow youso much flexibility, especially
when it comes to small business.
You can use this for food.
(18:20):
You can use this forrestaurants.
Maybe not all restaurants andmaybe not just hood restaurants,
but you could use this forrestaurants for sure.
The other places in gas, as Isaid.
But there are other items, likethere are swap meats, flea
markets.
I love going to farmers marketsfor fruits and vegetables
because, especially when I goright out around 11 o'clock, 12
o'clock, when they're closing up, I bring cash and I simply
(18:44):
clean out whatever they did notsell and I'm getting fruits and
vegetables grown, most of thetime organically, for pennies on
the dollar, like there's justmoney being left on the table.
And I don't know about you, butfor me I work so hard to keep
the dollars to do the things, tospend it in the areas and the
places that I care about.
(19:06):
Money cannot be an item that youpick up sometimes and you let
go of others.
It has to be something that islike a close friend or a sister
or a brother, something that youhold on to, because, let me
tell you, what money does is itallows you to hold a Respect for
(19:29):
yourself, and I don't know thatthis is so much, at first,
about how to make it as much ashow to treat it.
I feel like sometimes we wantbigger and better things to
happen, but we don't respectmoney and we don't treat money
Well.
And so, because we don't treatmoney well and we become
disrespectful with money, Ialmost feel like somewhere in
(19:51):
the world of this universe thatmoney then disrespects us.
Does that even make any sense?
Like I, I feel like I am.
I feel like I am thinkingthrough.
I feel like I am walkingthrough the opportunity that you
have right now, not only to getin the driver's seat, but to be
(20:12):
true to your own personalobjectives and goals.
And Even though every day Iwon't be breaking down money
strategies in this way, I willbe walking through Ways that we
can make money.
I will be walking through waysthat we can invest money.
(20:35):
I will be walking through whatwould and how do I spend a
dollar on.
What I know for sure is Is thatI wish that someone had told me
a decade earlier All the thingsthat could be done with money.
It would have saved me so muchheartache.
But, more importantly for me, Iprobably have given away like
(20:58):
two, three million dollars justby not knowing.
Imagine if you were tenthousand dollars richer right
now.
Two hundred thousand dollarsricher, like how much money have
you just given away in Inprocessing fees?
How many?
How much money have you justgiven away in the lack of
knowing or the lack of Access orthe lack of the resource?
(21:20):
Like?
This is just a moment ofconsciousness, like if you had
to give a number, what do youthink that number would be like?
If you had to give a number?
As I sit and think About it fora moment, you had to give a
number, what would that numberbe For me?
The reason why I decided to dothis, specifically especially
for women Not that all peopleare not welcome, but especially
(21:40):
for women is because I know fora fact that I have wasted and
lost and given away so muchmoney by just not knowing, by
just not knowing.
So the third is in Additionalstreams of revenue.
Let me tell you there are coreStreams of revenue and I'll get
(22:04):
to some of the core later onthis week.
But I even want to make youaware of this cool thing that we
have access to.
I know this is gonna blow yourmind.
It's called the internet.
The internet has allowed forpeople to do the wildest things
like Fill out applications andpress submit, put in their phone
(22:28):
number, their name, their emailaddress.
The reason why?
Do you know many applicationsthere are right now for grants.
There's so much money out thereand I don't mean grant writing,
I mean the she lady of the world, the she wonder of the world,
grants that are out there forpeople to Make money with and
(22:51):
for.
There is money inside of grants.
I've probably been therecipient of at least I don't
know Maybe $30,000 in the lastfew years in just grant money,
just grant money, just puredollars that I don't have to pay
(23:11):
back simply by filling out anapplication about something that
we're doing, something that'shappening, something that we
need.
There's grants if you're awoman, there's grants.
If you're a black woman,there's grants.
If you're an Asian woman, there's grants.
If you're a young woman,there's grants.
If you're just starting aproduct-based business, there's
grants.
(23:32):
If you are a service-basedbusiness, like, there's grants
for just about every industry, and I'm not talking about the
fancy ones that you do with thegovernment, I'm talking about by
companies like L'Oreal, bycompanies like Macy's, goldman
Sachs.
There's a grant right now, Ibelieve, out for Starbucks, like
.
I can't tell you how many grantsthere are out right now the
(23:59):
other ways that people aremaking money, so I think I
should have called this the ways, like the 10 ways.
I have about two more at mysleeve.
So there's this next way inwhich people have made money and
it's through sweepstakes.
I know this is gonna soundcrazy.
Stay with me.
This is insane.
So, outside of our core dollars, in which you sell a product or
(24:21):
service and you make money thatway, which I'm gonna get into,
I'm gonna talk about some otherthings, because I feel like
sometimes we just don't know howto get our hands on a few
dollars, a few extra dollars.
I'm giving you all of the waysthat I've made $10,000 or more
in my lifetime that areunconventional, that are outside
(24:43):
of a business or product orservice.
To start first, because for me,these are the fun things that I
used to do with my kids.
One of the other ways in whichI used to make money was through
sweepstakes.
I know this sounds crazy, but Iused to make money through
sweepstakes.
I used to get all types ofthings, all types of items, and
(25:07):
I would fill out sweepstakes.
Now I wouldn't hunt through theinternet.
In each and every one of theseI have a sheet, so I have a
sheet of everywhere that youshould get cash back everywhere,
and I'm gonna add that I'mgoing to create them.
I probably created a book or aguide and I'm gonna place it
inside of DTDTU.
So for those of you inside ofDTDTU, I'll make sure it's there
(25:28):
Everywhere that I get cash backand I love it.
The second is everywhere that Iam maximizing the dollars and I
love it.
The third is everywhere that Ihave got grants just grants
places and where to look forgrants right now that you can
fill out.
The next, the last, is insweepstakes.
(25:51):
I know this sounds crazy, butthere are easy places that you
could spend an hour's worth oftime a week.
You know what I've won throughsweepstakes?
I've probably up 40 or 50,maybe $60,000.
You know what I've won througha sweepstakes?
I don't even think I've evertold anybody a car.
Did you ever know that I've wona whole car?
(26:14):
Yes, an amazing sports car Ihave like.
There are so many ways thatpeople can just enrich their
lives and add more dollars andadd more flow and add more
things into their life, simplyvia spending a little bit of
time.
Now I've given you five randomways because I want you to think
outside the box.
If you run a business right nowand you're like Tiffany, I'm
(26:37):
gonna put these things in place,I need to put some things in
place, great, the rest of thisweek is gonna serve you and for
those of you inside of ourcommunity, absolutely.
We'll spend all the timehammering and nailing the
individual strategies, but someof the ways during my lifetime
that I've enriched my life, thatI've created more wealth or
(26:57):
more excitement in my life, hasbeen by me adding these other
ways.
I won't even call them revenuestreams because they're just
plain old fun for me.
I won't call them revenuestreams.
They used to be just plain oldfun.
They don't take a lot of time.
Last week, I was telling thewomen and the mountains at the
(27:18):
More Women's Retreat how I usedto coop on.
I used to be a coop owner, so Iknow this is going wild, but I
would make thousands andthousands of dollars a month by
paying low dollars for an item, taking it into a store or taking
it somewhere else and flippingit.
Like I literally want you toknow right now how much in
(27:44):
control you are.
Like the real talk.
Sarah, michelle, leah, chris, jacqueline Like I want you to
know in our community how incontrol you are and if you've
tried any of these or you havequestions of any of these,
please can you ask me right now?
Just put at tiffanilargicom.
(28:04):
There is no open invitationtoday for you to join us inside
of Anywhere.
What there will be is an openinvitation for you to get on the
phone and talk to us.
That's what will happen.
I know for a fact that, if itwasn't me, like burnout is real.
Mental weight is real as you'retrying to build something,
(28:25):
especially when you're buildingsomething that nobody can see,
when you're building somethingand your whole family thinks
you're nuts.
The way that I broke up thatpicture was by me making a
different decision to add somefun, involve my family into
other ways of making dollars.
(28:47):
It allowed for me to make theart of pursuing more not as
weighty.
It allowed me to say, okay, great, I'm going to have $20,000
that comes in over here, sotherefore I can take off extra
time during December.
I can take off extra timeduring November.
(29:08):
I can do something more.
The name of the game is just todo something more.
I've given a handful of ideasaround dollars and other ways
that I've made money.
If I had to segment my week andtime.
(29:30):
It would be to make eight tofive, or for me, eight to seven,
during the week, the time thatI'm working on my core business,
and for me the weekends shouldbe.
For you, does it always go likethat?
No, there are many weekendswhere I am working on a project,
or something I want to finishhas to do with DTDT or something
(29:52):
else on hand, or I'm at anexperience, at an event and
something like that feelsamazing.
I want to stay right there, butI want to encourage you to
consider taking the time to justbuild something, and it might
not be building an additionaldollar, it might just be
building fun.
It might just be building fun.
(30:13):
It might be getting saying, great, I only make $50,000 for
the year, which is a okay, andthen saying to yourself I'm
going to find a way to save onseven of the $50,000 I'm
spending, so that way, I have$7,000 more at the end of this
year.
(30:33):
You cannot take any of thismoney with you, so hoarding it
and putting in a bank is stupid.
But what you can take with you, what you absolutely can take
with you, is more experiences, more fun and more memories I
truly want in my heart for everysingle human to have more and
to stop feeling guilty forwanting more.
Stop feeling guilty for wantingmore.
(30:55):
Stop feeling looked at,ridiculed, made fun of for
wanting more.
No, I can't.
I can't even fool around withthat.
If we can't want or desire more, then what can we do?
Like, honestly, if we can'twant or desire more, then what
is that?
That doesn't even make anysense.
So I wanted to.
(31:18):
I feel really good about whatI've walked through today.
The name of the game is numberone how much of every dollar do
you get to put back in yourpocket?
Simple question If your answeris zero, you're doing life wrong
.
You're especially if you're inthe US.
You're doing life wrong.
You're doing money wrong.
(31:39):
You know, I have a really goodfriend of mine and she says
something all the time that shewas taught by a billionaire and
when she shared this with me itwas like game changer.
She said that you know, thenumber one way in which
billionaires, especially some ofthe older school ones who made
(32:00):
money in more conventional waysI mean conventional before the
internet and all of that beforethe internet boom is that they
just focused on recycling theirmoney, like, so, that way, if
they spend a dollar, somehowthat dollar comes back to them
Like they spend a dollar, butthat dollar comes back to them
(32:21):
Like I'm great, I'm happy to goand spend money on a thing, but
I want to spend money on a thingand I want the thing to come
back to me.
I don't want to just spendmoney for the sake of spending
money, and it has nothing to dowith a rainy day.
I'm not even interested in youseeing all those rainy days.
I'm really interested in youjust being able to do more with
(32:42):
wherever you are, with what youhave.
I want to see you have a $3,000vacation versus $1,600 vacation
.
I want to see you buy shoesthat you love.
I want to see you hire someone.
I want to see you.
Let me tell you, I made $52,000a year and my greatest gift from
$52,000.
I think I'm exaggerating thatnumber I probably made like
$47,000 a year when I was inMiami and Jada was like five
(33:07):
miles four, and my greatest winfor myself was affording for
someone to clean my house for$300 every month.
It was my greatest gift formyself.
Why?
Because I got sick and tired oftrying to do it on my own with
my own capabilities.
I sucked and I did ithalf-baked because I was always
rushing, because I had so muchon me.
(33:30):
I don't know what that is foryou, but as I think about this
shirt, you know, this shirt hasa very simple statement on it
and a couple of months ago inLas Vegas, we were doing an
event and all of the attendeesgot together and they bought
this shirt for me and I thoughtit was the coolest thing ever.
(33:50):
I thought it was the coolestthing ever because they knew
that I wasn't feeling well andthey saw this shirt somewhere on
the strip when they went outtogether, and or no, they were
in old Vegas or old Fremont.
I was close and they boughtthis shirt and I thought to
(34:10):
myself man, this is really trulythe epitome of being able to do
more.
And If it wasn't for all ofthese random tactics and ideas
and backdoor thoughts thatyou've heard me talk about, I
don't know that I would havebeen able to keep do the DTDT
alive.
That's the truth.
Like I don't know if I wouldhave been able to keep DTDT
alive, not just through theseasons, but because we used to
(34:33):
run this thing like not you wishyou so, but do DTDT's like
part-time.
I'm a not-for-profit, you know,and I spent a lot of years
building foundation, buildingpeople, finding team members,
before I got into Really runningthe the the profit and loss
statement as it should be ran.
I spent a lot of time justgiving to people, giving them
(34:54):
things, experiences, Paying fortheir flight, doing all types of
things, and it's like man.
I didn't do that because wealways had an abundance.
I did it because I got reallysavvy with how we spent the
dollar Then, where the dollarwent and and how we acquired it
and what it looked like.
So my simple statement is morewith more.
(35:20):
Smarter moves with money.
That's it.
Smarter moves with money.
Smarter moves with moneywhether that is you filling,
taking time one day a month andfilling out for grants one day a
month and filling out forContests that are happening,
sweepstakes One day a month, andBuilding or relooking at ways
(35:43):
that you can connect to youraccounts because all I do is
connect accounts I don't doanything special and get cash
back, or get cash back, or makeor get money back, I should say.
Or if it's none of the aboveand you're like I just need to
be more savvy with what'shappening, all I know is that
you start today.
You have an opportunity.
It is like the scariest thingto look at yourself and go I
(36:05):
want more.
I actually don't know how toget in any direction.
I learned the hard way that itis not going and making more
money.
It is absolutely by Starting todo better with the money that
you have, whatever it is,whatever it is day one, so day
one.
In this slight conversation, IWant to know what you think.
(36:30):
I want to know.
Are you thinking to yourselfWell, I never thought of
sweepstakes, I never thought ofgrants, I never thought of
dot-dot-dot.
I've probably made a hundredthousand dollars in the last 18
months, and I say made.
I have acquired, I havedeposited whatever number and
these things, these three, fiveareas that I've given you in the
(36:52):
last 18, maybe 20 months, I canattribute probably Close to a
hundred thousand dollars.
If I had to guess and I say 18months it wouldn't have mattered
if it was in the last 10 years.
I mean, in all honesty, itdoesn't matter when or how, it's
just the fact that I can go.
Yes, that work and yes, thisworks and yes, you can do it.
(37:13):
You can do all of them rightnow.
They take no money.
It won't cost you any money.
It's all about you thinkingdifferently and being smarter
with money, because only then, when you have a foundation
that's strong enough To supportmore which means you get clearer
about dollars and not notspending, but just what's
(37:34):
happening it's only then can youreally go to the next phase and
make more money.
That's it.
So with that, I say we are Done.
I Can't wait to hear what youthink, which one of these you're
(37:55):
trying, and I want to know, asI get ready to teach, what are
your questions about money?
What are your questions aboutmoney?
What questions do you have?
What questions do you have?
What thoughts do you have ingeneral?
What would you like for me toteach?
This week, I'm going to besending this note out to our
community and also do a Q&AAround money every single
(38:16):
morning at 10 am, mountainStandard Time will be live right
here.
I'll be answering very specificquestions.
If it's an amazing question,I'm going to tell who the
question is from, so that wayyou get recognition.
We can find you for those whoare watching and participating
at the end of every day.
After you get access to thatlink and the next steps, we'll
(38:40):
be tracking to see who, what, where, when and how.
I am grateful that you are here, happy Monday, and I thought no
better than to talk about whatI have the ability and access to
do than on this special day.
Goodbye from the studio.
(39:02):
Goodbye from the studio.
