We have to talk about this, and you know on Doggie Diamonds No Filter, we're not gonna pull any punches. The Pan-Afrikan Prince of Pan-Afrikanism, Dr. Umar Johnson, is once again making the rounds, and the message is the same: he needs MORE MONEY from the people. For over a DECADE, we've been hearing about the FDMG Academy, the school for Black boys that has been funded by the community. Donations have been pouring in for years, reportedly reaching hundreds of thousands, if not millions. Yet, here we are in 2025, and the school is still not open. Now, after a recent, unfortunate incident of vandalism at the school property in June 2025, the opening has reportedly been pushed back again, this time to September 2026. And with that delay, the call for more donations continues. This has a lot of people asking the tough questions, and I'm one of them. On this episode, I'm giving my unfiltered take. When does the fundraising stop and the school bell start ringing? Is it fair to continuously ask a community that is already struggling for more and more money with no final product in sight? This isn't about questioning the need for a school; it's about questioning the business of this school. I'm just asking the questions that many of you are thinking. What's your take on this? Are you still donating and supporting the cause, or are you starting to feel fatigued by the constant requests for more money? Let's have a REAL and respectful conversation in the comments!
