First off, I gotta be a man and own my energy. My apologies to everyone who watched my breakdown of the Nas verse on Raekwon's "Omerta" yesterday. I was heated, my energy was off, and that's on me. On this episode of Doggie Diamonds No Filter, I'm gonna tell you exactly WHY. The truth is, right before I hit record on that video, I saw a clip of 19 Keys, and I gotta be real... people like that just IRK my soul! I watched him talking about "paradigmatic shifts" and the "cypher of existence" in hip-hop, and my head just started spinning. It's this type of overly complicated, "faux-intellectual" talk that feels so disconnected from the streets and the real spirit of this culture. It's not that deep, bro! That frustration with people trying to sound like college professors instead of just being real is what bled into my last video, and for that, I apologize. But we STILL have to discuss this trend! On this "No Filter" segment, I'm breaking down why that "conscious community" word salad sometimes does more harm than good and why we need to get back to straightforward, honest conversations. So again, my apologies on the last video's energy. But now let's get into it: What do YOU think about the way "people like" 19 Keys talk about hip-hop? Am I buggin' for being annoyed, or do they irk you too? Let's have a real, unfiltered discussion. LIKE & SUBSCRIBE for more real talk on Doggie Diamonds No Filter!
