We’re a little late in reviewing the new Warcry box set, “Briar and Bone.” This set features the Sylvaneth Twistweald warband and the Ossiarch Teratic Cohort warband. Also in the box is a new terrain piece, the Ravening Gnarloak, and that thing looks hungry.
Join us in our discussion of the box, the models, some rules, and where we think Warcry will be taking us next!
FINALLY we talk over the 50 player Narrative event we ran at Adeption 2024. It's been almost 2 months and we are here to break the silence!
A huge shout out to everyone who signed up and showed up and made this event the joy that it was. The branching narrative style event gets bigger and more fun each year because of you.
For the first time in a long time, maybe ever, we have all 4 of the dogs present to share thoughts on the new Pyre and Flood box set. The lumineth and the nighthaunt fight each other to see who gets to be the one who actually destroys the Gnarlwood! And we talk about it.
We also talk about the warbands that are getting discontinued in 2025!
Eric is joined by Zac, a local hobby legend to talk about all the things that make Warcry a superior game for our hobby. We want to play cinematic games on the table and it's the modeling, painting, boards and terrain that facilitate that. Small model count, big hobby, lots to discuss in this episode.
[AUDIO FIXED]
This is the Dogs of Warcry BARKING LOT where we talk rules, gameplay, list building, and competitive play.
