From tennis championships to social justice crises, this week's conversation weaves through the threads of a rapidly changing world with our signature blend of humor and hard truths.

The sporting world delivered historic moments as Carlos Alcaraz made tennis history with his back-to-back French Open victory, becoming only the second man to achieve this feat after Novak Djokovic. His unprecedented comeback from three match points down during the longest French Open final ever had us glued to our screens. Meanwhile, Coco Gauff claimed her own piece of history as the first American woman since Serena Williams to win at Roland Garros, though her victory was somewhat overshadowed by her opponent's less-than-gracious post-match comments.

Beyond the courts and arenas, we dive deep into disturbing social developments affecting vulnerable communities across America. The abrupt closure of Job Corps centers has left countless low-income young adults essentially homeless with their belongings in garbage bags and futures in limbo. This crisis, coupled with escalating immigration raids that have targeted families at elementary school graduations, reveals troubling patterns in how society treats its most vulnerable members.

The conversation takes unexpected turns as we examine the very public falling out between tech billionaire Elon Musk and former president Donald Trump, consider the implications of corporate "allyship" during Pride Month, and even coin our own term—"Gay Plus"—as a more inclusive alternative to the ever-expanding LGBTQ+ acronym.

Through laughter and serious reflection, we remind ourselves and our listeners to stay vigilant, pay attention to what's happening around us, and find joy where we can. Because in times like these, sometimes you need to laugh to keep from crying.

Join us for this wide-ranging conversation that captures both the headline moments and the human stories behind them. How are you navigating these challenging times?

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello and welcome to Doing Me.
So I Don't Read you Hello.
So how you guys doing.
It's another beautifulWednesday, it is, it is.
But let's see, you know a lotof things are happening in this
world.

(00:21):
In the past few days is thelast time you heard of things
that are happening.
So let's see On the agendatoday, since I just watched it
for the men's final for tennis,so we're going to talk about

(00:42):
that for a little bit.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
So yeah, so I saw I forgot his name already.
Alvarez, there you go, alvarezGot him.
Yep, I remembered his name.
So yep.
So he won back-to-backchampionships.
He won last year and that gamewas awesome.
I called it like the secondhalf of the part and I watched

(01:04):
the whole thing, so that was fun.
I guess he had some history hemade, because I think he's the
only second person in men's towin back-to-back in the French
Open.
The last person was Donovich.
I don't think that's his name.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Yeah, you're saying it right.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
So he's the second person to ever do it, to do
back-and-back here, and he's Iguess they said that he's the
first person in history he hadbeat a lot of records today the
first person in history, I think, to come back from three match
points.
Yeah, from he came back frombeing down From three match

(01:48):
points yep, he broke a littleBecause the other's been like
one match point or two.
He's the first person inhistory to do from three match
points, came back and won, andthen this was like the longest
from the, I guess, french Open, the longest it's ever been For
the time the time.
Yeah, it's been the longest toofrom the French Open.

(02:09):
So like today, was it.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Because he's young.
He's only 22.
I just heard that he turned proonly seven years ago, so he
turned pro in 2018.
So like he came up on the scene, like who is this?
Was this Spanish guy, carlos?
Yes, Carlos Carles.
He's nice though I like him.

(02:33):
I like him as a tennis player.
I saw his match maybe threeyears ago.
That's when I first reallystarted paying attention to him.
I didn't even know who he was.
On the other, on the man side,I don't really pay attention to
as much as the man side of thetennis, unless I connect with

(02:53):
one of them Like oh, okay, thenI'll watch it more.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
The only time I really watched it beforehand was
either Nadal or what's theother guy, what's big too.
At the time, it's just an F.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Oh Fernan.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
I'm going to say Fernan, but that's not it.
I'm going to say Fernan forsome odd reason, but that's
somebody else's important lastname.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Fernaners Fernandez no, no, no.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
I believe his name was that was the real.
Oh, it was a short term.
Yeah, I can't think of, I can'tthink of his name.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
I don't have no clue what his name is either, but he
was one of the big ones too atthat time, like the big male
person that was like a while agomale person that was like a
while ago.
That's when I kind of paidattention to them.
And then, of course, you saidNovick.
Yeah, that's the one, that'sthe one, and then.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Nadel.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Nadel yeah, uh-huh.
And then the other one was sortof the F, or is that something
sort of the F or?

Speaker 2 (04:03):
I couldn't see.
Look, see, look, I told you Idon't see, I told you I don't
really deal that much with themen now, the women I can name
god damn all of them.
So I know it could be.
It's not, he's not from the USno, he's not, he's.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
I think he's in one of the in the European countries
.
Yeah, okay, yeah, I forgot hisname, I know no pick.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
I think he's in one of the European countries.
Yeah, okay.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
I forgot his name.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
I know Novik, but and Rafael Nadell, I always knew
him.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
And then Stephanos.
So are you talking about Zerbikor Zerbeck?

Speaker 1 (04:43):
No, no, no.
He was probably almost playingat the same time when, probably
before, serena left.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Oh, okay, so you're talking about.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
But he was in that.
No, but before she he was stilldoing it when she left.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
So in 2018.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
But he kind of left a little bit, maybe a little bit
after that.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Roger Roger Fender Fender.
Roger Roger Federer F-E-D-E.
Federer Federer Roger, yeah, his first name is Roger.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Yeah, roger Federer, I think that is.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Federer, that's him.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
Uh-huh 2018.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Because those are the main three.
It would be Novick, oh Federerand Roger Federer, yeah there we
are.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
See, I knew something about it.
I knew something about the F.
Well, I said Fernando, but okay, yep, I mean you knew what they
were talking about.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Yeah, that was a long match.
They went six hours, basically,right.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Yeah, because I think it lasted myself five hours and
34 minutes.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Yeah, that.
I think it left my soul likefive hours and 34 minutes.
Yeah, that's basically it.
That made me tired looking atit.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
That was.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
I was like give up, Don't give up, but just keep
going.
But damn.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Yes, and then, speaking of that, of course,
then I saw for golf that she won.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Yes, Cocoa Golf.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Yes, she won.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Yes, against Arena.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Yep and that was a good match, too Good match too.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Yes, because they went to the final or to the
first match, the extra amount ofpoints.
And that's where Arena, she wonthe first Yep, and then Cocoa
she came in like a vintage, asecond she won 6-2.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Yeah, that one, that one, she won.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Yes, and then the final one she came back.
Yeah, she won again 6-4.
But, what I love about Cocolike, because Coco like she's
very young too and she's beenthe first.
Like you said, they're doingdifferent.
They've been breaking records, like she has been the first

(06:53):
american and not waiting forwomen to even win in the french
open, since who you just?
spoke the goat serena, oh yeah, and like, for instance, coco
just turned 21 oh yeah, twomonths ago, the girl Like she's
young as fuck and she's amazing, but I just like I saw the press
conference afterwards and likethey did that to Serena when
Serena won the French the same, not the same person, but the

(07:16):
opponent, they basically Arena.
Or what she's going to say isif Coco, if the semifinalist,
would have came and won thefinal, she wouldn't have been
there arena, would have beenthere playing as coco, coco
would have lost.
And she also said how um, it'snot that coco was good or did
good, it's just that I didn'thave a good game.

(07:38):
Like you were just throwing somuch shade if you're to take
this L with your little saltinestuff, because you're a little
bit salty, with your littlesaltine crackers.
Talking about the rounds, Iain't saying nothing else, I'm
talking about the crackers.
You guys Like what you eatbecause you're a little bit
salty.
You showed it.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
You couldn't have said both things Like oh yeah, I
had a bad game and she did, sheplayed well, because both
happened.
I think both could be happening, like yeah.
So it's like yeah, I did.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Both could be true, because they didn't watch the
match.
Coco did her goddamn thing.
So even if you had an off day, that one just don't say this
young girl is good and it's notlike, like you said before,
she's ranked.
What coco was ranked what asecond right.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
So it's not like she's un before she's ranked.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
What Coco was ranked.
What a second right.
So it's not like she's unrankedyeah that'll be different if
she's an unranked opponent thatjust came out of nowhere and
luckily which you cannot do intennis beat all these different
ranked players yeah to thefinals?
There's no, you can't.
Tennis is different.
I mean, sometimes you can lookup in different sports and be a
uh, you know, oh, my goodness, Ican't believe they beat them or

(08:48):
that it happens.
Team sport yeah individualsport.
You're not going to be anunranked, never been heard of
tennis player to make it to thefinals in the french hope,
because you got to be um rankedany, basically way and be known
to even win.
That's the difference withtennis.
You got to win certaindifferent ones prior to even be

(09:09):
on the map, to even be invitedto go to these tennis masters.
That's what people don't get.
You did all kind ofdisrespectful shit and it's your
go on and I don't care whatanybody says.
You still look hard in the face.
They need to check her.
While they're talking about youhad an off game and a couple of
years ago they need to checkyour testosterone levels.
You look kind of manly Evenwhen she talked.

(09:31):
Well, one way.
It's not that I had a, she wasgood, but I just had a hard game
and I was off on the game.
So yeah, I mean.
Ooh, it's a lot going on.
So, that's good they startedoff with the sports.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
Yes, yep, that was exciting for the tennis.
Yeah, for the past.
Yeah, these two days, yeah, Iwas like, oh, look at me
watching sports.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Look at you, ooh, look at you watching sports.
Look at you.
Look at you watching sportsBecause you know that's every
blue moon yeah, me is everyother day or every day.
But then I get tired of sportsbecause they start to get on my
nerves.
So I don't watch it as much asI used to, but I do watch it.
Y'all, I do.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
But I can't help it.
And speaking of the sports, that's reminding me because I
was watching it.
Not even watching, but heardabout it when I was working.
What's the team name in thebasketball?
The one guy who made thetwo-point?

Speaker 2 (10:36):
Indiana Pacers yes and I just saw the last clip.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
What the hell his name is?
I forgot, but whatever HellaBurton.
And he made the shot.
When it was like that, I waslike at the end of the buzzer.
It was only one point that theywon from.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
Yeah, so he played for the Indiana Pacers and,
speaking of that, the NBA seriesIs Oklahoma Thunder Versus the
Indiana Pacers, which we hadtalked about Shortly in our last
podcast.
I'm like I don't know if peopleare really going to pay
attention because they're notprobably expecting those two
teams to even be in the finalsperiod.
But yeah, he did.

(11:13):
He made the buzzer beater totake game one and it was on
Oklahoma Thunder's home courtand that's how he kind of did
the same thing with the Knicks, but it went in overtime because
they thought it was a three toend the game, but his foot was
on the line, so it was on atwo-pointer and that tied the
game and then it went intoovertime and of course they beat

(11:34):
the Knicks in overtime.
That's what they did to theKnicks.
They beat the Knicks twice onthe home court and that helped
them.
Then of course, they, visitingwith the Indiana Nick's, got one
game out of that.
But same thing now with OKC, soit'll be at OKC.
I think they play again thegame should probably be tonight.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
I thought it was pretty close.
It's going to be cominghappening again sometime.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
Yeah, so they're going to best on the NBA.
Like I said, it's the best ofseven.
Like how they do within the 10,it's the best of seven, but
they have played to the night.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Oh yeah, I kind of knew it.
Okay, I had a feeling that itwas sometime this week.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
It had to be because it was yes, that's a seven and
they go back and forth, and backand forth.
But again, sometimes I thinkstuff be all fixed, but not that
.
That was a buzzer beater, thatwasn't no fix.
You can't.
You can't write that up now, when they just go and be winning
by 20 and they throw the ballaway and they miss shots on

(12:31):
purpose and they foul a personand they all do the other stupid
stuff.
Yes, that can be done.
You can do that.
You can shoot the ballpurposely to miss it or shoot it
too hard, like I get.
I believe that stuff becauseit's all about money.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
Yeah, that was cool.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
Yeah, he did that.
His dad no longer, I guess, isbanned because he was banned in
the previous game.
Of course someone went in frontof the player and showed his
son shirt and called him.
What the F, what the fuck?
Now?
You dumb ass bitch Like come on, daddy, if you don't get your
at least you were riding for hisson.

(13:06):
That was amazing he don't showthe mom.
He little yellow, he littlefresh yellow.
You know he got a little hismama.
She don't show different.
But the dad, yeah, the dad wason one, but no, that's cool, but
it's been a lot going on, likeyou said, in the past week.

(13:26):
Y'all need y'all to be safe andpay attention and live y'all
life, because they are reallyMessing up.
The two people who had afallout, which I knew, oh, the
two bitches, I knew they wouldbe there.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
It took me a minute To realize what are you talking
about.
Now I realize who you'retalking about, oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
I, I realize who you're talking about.
I'm like oh yeah, I knew what'shappening.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
I knew it would come shortly.
I listened to that at work aswell, too.
I was like, oh, look at that.
I was listening to all thepeople that talked about it.
I'm like, hmm.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
Yeah, that Elon man and then the tangerine.
Yeah, I knew that was coming, because it's only going to take
so long because people in powera lot of them are narcissists
anyhow.
They can't have two narcissiststrying to run the show.
I mean, when that little babywas only what?
Three years old or four, andcame in there and told him shut
the fuck up, and you ain't thepresident, that should have told
y'all right then and therewhere he's hearing that from

(14:23):
which he would just use as abait to just show but get out
the chair, you're not thepresident.
Shut the fuck up, or come on,man.
The little boy is four yearsold.
Telling him that man talkingabout, yeah, he about to do
everything his teflon's in theblemish of his prices, and I

(14:45):
mean, um, how much money theymake off of him, his sales are
not doing well and maybe his wayto get people back on X.
But you know they're all actorsto me if you ask.
But he telling the truth, likethat part I do believe, because
this is the fault I was.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
I don't think they're going to get people back on X
because basically people aregoing to look at it on the news
and stuff.
The Mazda will not even do itbecause most likely people are
going to print it out and lookat it.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
Right, we're going to print it and see it.
I ain't been on X until I don'teven know, since I guess before
X was X, it was called Twitter.
I've been using that a longtime ago, years ago.
So I agree.
But I can see it on othersocial media platforms and you
see the same thing.
He says Don't reshare it becauseeverybody like drama.
And it's interesting becauseduring the election, when he won

(15:37):
, he said I think Elon must helpwin this election.
If y'all didn't notice that themoment that he said he was on
his team.
I ain't saying none of y'allwas wrong for going to the polls
, but y'all should have knownthen it was a done deal.
This man was going to steal itanyway.
So now Elon's saying it Yep,thanks for me, you're the one.
While you're in office, keeptalking with no, oh, you're on

(15:58):
the.
He didn't release the Epsteinfiles because he's in it.
We've already seen it.
The man says he grabbed peopleby the cuffs.
You know what I'm trying to say.
So it's interesting, but it'sall good, it's just fucked up.
You know what I'm recentlyseeing with that?
Vanilla Ice, ice, baby, tooCold, too Cold.

(16:20):
No, what they doing Pulling upon the people on the west coast.
They different type of people, you know.
Those are different kind.
Those are not the same kindthat you had in Texas and
Florida, my boy, they different.
But I'm glad that we sittingthis one out and we been sitting

(16:41):
it out, although I can say thismay not belong to nobody, but
the ingenious people right.
So, honestly speaking, they'rethe ones who should be saying
kick all of our answers out, tobe honest.
But some, a lot of people havetheir legit way as for
documentation, legal, wise, andthey're still waiting and
they've been waiting for yearsbecause it's so backed up, so

(17:04):
but they people work hard andthey and they contribute to this
country.
What a lot of us do.
The thing that I have an issuea concern not concern an issue
with is there's so many ofdifferent people that are brown
okay, that don't like us, andwhat I'm saying.
That doesn't mean it's blackpeople at all.
And they say we're lazy and wedon't do this and we don't know.

(17:25):
Some of us are fucking lazy, trust and behold, and a couple
y'all may hear this y'all know acouple of our family members
that are lazy.
You know our friends, but notall of us are.
So for y'all to just show y'allown hatred because you think
that you're better than thepeople who have already been you
know what I'm saying treatedhorribly in history, lesson of

(17:47):
black people, of slavery, y'allain't paying.
Y'all thought y'all wasuntouchable.
You sure y'all really thoughty'all was untouchable.
And always I just think aboutthose.
I was dope, I was dope, I wasboat they don't even say boat
Now.
Y'all see what's going on.
That's what y'all picked off ofy'all hatred.

(18:09):
You know what I mean.
It's like them, little peoplein the trailers, trailer park
people, same with y'all.
Yeah, let's go for them andlook what's happening.
Y'all ain't got y'all snaps, nomore, do y'all.
What's going on with y'all kids?
What on with your kids?
What's going to happen to them?
I mean, it's fucked up with thejob corps what they did.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
That's what I heard.
I was looking at the news thingtoo and I heard about that or
something on YouTube and theywere talking about that as well,
or somebody like independentmedia people on YouTube.
Now they were talking about thejob corps things.
I think it's one of the peopleit was like a court that said,

(18:50):
denied it or blocked it, butthen of course you could always
appeal and all other things.
But that's one of the thingsabout Job Corps and they were
talking about.
You know, it was weird that youwouldn't think, well, why would
you want to disband that whenit helps?
Now I really realize, becauseit haven't been out of the news
yet for it, oh yeah, but realizethat it targets low income

(19:16):
families for people to likestart.
So that's a while.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
And the craziest part is like for Job Corps, like the
nation's largest free residentcareer training education
program, like you said, for lowincome young adults from the
ages of 16 to 24.
So the thing of it is not likeit's not like they're doing any.
They're not doing anything.
They are really working atdifferent places that no one

(19:42):
wants to hire and to help thiseconomy, and not only that, to
change your life around.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
So the fact that y'all just closed it, y'all gave
them a warning that this wassupposed to happen at the end of
June.
Right, they did this, june 1st,the first weekend, and none of
that didn't give them kidsnowhere to go.
They don't know where to go.
They have to pack theirbelongings in garbage bags and
different stuff, like thatsuitcases they have.
They have to pack theirbelongings in garbage bags and

(20:14):
different stuff, like thatsuitcases they have.
They're homeless.
So all this is causing is morewhat crime rate to go higher,
because what else are they goingto do with themselves?
Not only that, mentally they're, they're fucked up because they
thought they were doing thegreat thing and it's just like
it's.
And, like you said, yes, thejudge did temporarily block the
job force center after closing, but there's so many people that
it's already closed.
And then you got to think aboutit.
The staff, they don't have ajob Because that was their job

(20:36):
as well.
Like, what are these kidssupposed to do?
And you're seeing them.
It's just, it's crazy, man.
It's not even crazy.
I just told y'all we done, toldy'all all times it's time, man,
y'all better listen to what Ialways say Live life happy on
purpose, figure it out, becauselife is life and right about now
this admin is showing y'allthem, pissing everybody the fuck

(20:59):
off.
All these countries is pissedthe fuck off.
They used to be our allies.
Now they hate us Like fucky'all.
I want to go and talk to everycountryman and say look us,
black and brown, we not the onesDon't come after us.
When y'all come and want to dostuff to us, can y'all pick
certain people?

Speaker 1 (21:18):
No, I think people know what the problem is, not
like everybody else.
People are here like this, thatwe know.
I think a lot of the people arehere like this, we know.
I think a lot of the people arehere like, yeah, we get it too.
We don't understand why you mad, there's only one person who's
really doing it just out of theAll, his whole thing, just doing
it out of nowhere, like can'tyou just take a break one time?
One time, one month.

(21:41):
One month, take a break.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Take a break.
And then he's still, and nowsome of his own people are like
oh, we didn't know it wassupposed to be this.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
Y'all do.
It gets me, because there'speople like oh, I didn't read it
, so you didn't read the thingthat you decide for.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
No.

Speaker 1 (21:56):
That's going to be hurting a whole bunch of people.
You didn't read it, mm-mm.
And people are like, no, that'sright right.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
It just shows you that it's a laughing.
It's a laughing stock and theygot they're gonna do martial law
.
They got these people, um,attacking all these people now
in los angeles.
It's now some different,different places.
Now it's different cities, soI'm just saying los angeles in
general, so like, for instance,uh, what you just said, like

(22:23):
y'all didn't read this bill,y'all do this.
My whole thing is y'all comingafter these people who at first
were peacefully protestingagainst the horrible immigration
law and what the Ice, ice Baby, too Cold, too Cold is doing.
However, and you get it why I'msaying Ice, ice Baby, too Cold,
too Cold.
I apologize, I'm not saying theother parts, I'm not like doing

(22:43):
something wrong for anybody whobelongs to the Bidenite.
But also there's an old schoolrapper or whatever.
They are a colonization Anyhow.
Ice, ice Baby.
They didn't use none of that inJanuary 6th when they attacked
the White House and people werebeing attacked.

(23:05):
Where are all that Blue LivesMatter there?
I cannot stand the blue livesmatter, because who's blue?
There's nobody on this earththat's blue.
I mean, let me take that back.
There is people that are blue.
You know that movie where it'sthe blue ones in the head of
locks, avatar what was it Avatar?
Yeah, so blue people do exist.
And then if y'all believe inaliens but I don't think they do

(23:28):
I think they're just walkingaround like real ass
motherfuckers.
To be honest, and one of themmay be in the office that was
Elon.
He looked like he wasdowngrading that stuff the
moment.
I saw that video when he lookedlike he was extra high like a
kite and I don't know if it washim or if his what is it called?
His machinery was going out andthey had to reboot him real

(23:51):
quick.
He looked like he was high as akite.
When I saw that, I said, oh yeah, some shit about to come down.
It's some shit that's about tocome down.
So all we doing is having funputting our boots to the ground
and going to concerts.
But I think they're reallystill trying to do that and

(24:12):
they're falling for it on whatthey're doing with their
emotions, because they're goingto do martial law and it's going
to fuck all of us up like y'alljust going to do martial law
just for Los Angeles, becauseall these other cities we ain't
protesting like that.
We mind our business and it'ssad.
I saw the other story too.
They came into a graduation, not a high school graduation,

(24:33):
but elementary graduation forpreschoolers and kindergarteners
.
I saw the other story too theycame into a graduation not a
high school graduation butelementary graduation, for
preschoolers and kindergartenersto graduate.
And I saw a teacher because he'sin a neighboring school and
he's crying Like he was a blackman.
He said because their schoolthey said to do a lockdown but
they school knew it had nothingto do with a lockdown.
It was this neighboring schoolIce ice baby, too cold, too cold

(24:54):
, ended up coming there andthose parents was running and
scattering Like when people turnon the lights and the bugs
scattered everywhere.
It's not a laughing moment butI have to do that to like
sometimes you gotta laugh to notcry Because we are in some
horrible times.
Those babies, they said, werejust holding on to their
teachers and crying becausethey're seeing their parents

(25:15):
running.
They don't have nowhere to goto.
And then when they take them togo to court, what they going to
say?
They're five and six year olds.
When they say, where you knowanybody to take you, what they
going to say I don't know, Idon't know.
Pride is pride in right now andwe're supposed to be happy, but
happy times it's not showing nohappiness because they know I'm

(25:40):
glad.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
So it's happening, because I know they're trying to
do take some stuff for pridetoo or something.
But I'm like at this moment youmight be having, uh, different
protests or things foreverything now.
So at this moment it's going tobe probably each month going to
somebody protest for something, because you just take it, so
get used to it.
Now You're about to getprotested for anything.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
But the old school gays, they still always stay
happy, they didn't need nosponsorships and all that.
That's our generation, newgeneration.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
But I feel like, oh, they're going to do stuff.
I'm like did they think thatPride's not going to be
something, or events aren'tgoing to still happen?
For Pride it's still going tobe.
You know, now, probably evenmore now.
Now they're going to be doingreally now.
Oh, now I want to turn over, and now we're going to really
show y'all.

Speaker 2 (26:28):
What we need to do, too, is the people who is paying
attention.
Pay attention to thesecompanies and if y'all have
stocks and investments or 401k,take that shit out.
It's different than saying, oh,I don't want to shop there, no
more, I don't want to go there.
Yeah, it is, but hurt themwhere they hurt, that's they
monies and that's showing theirtrue colors, like behind.
It's kind of like I look at itlike those clan member people.

(26:54):
They be afraid to show who theytruly are, but they want to act
some type of way and coverthemselves Like let me know,
because you are my local, probably doctor, judge, police
officer or you know what I'msaying or sheriff, to be honest,
it'd be the sheriffs and y'allwant to show y'all selves.
So that's what these companies,a lot of these companies, didn't

(27:15):
care about people withdisabilities, people of other
ethnicities or people who aregay no, I'm not saying gay,
lgbtq, y and they're all Z,because there's just too much
letters.
I can't keep up, no more.
They keep adding more lettersto the alphabet.
I don't know, no more.
We're going to be, everybody'sgoing to be involved.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
That's why they put a plus, because it's everything
that's made it LGBTQ plus.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
So they just say just gay plus.
Just say gay plus.
Don't put the LGBTQ plus.
I just call us gay plus andthen it makes sense.
So at the end of the day, weall gay.
I just call us Gay Plus, andthen it makes sense.
So at the end of the day, weall gay.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
And we plus Like, a, like, a, a little offer from a
Account thing.
Oh, I got the Gay Plus.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
Thank you.
I like the easier, that's morefaster.
I like the Gay Plus.
You like that, so I'm a patina.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
I'm Gay Plus, I'm Gay Plus, I'm Gay Plus.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
That's all you gotta say.
I'm gay plus.
That's what we about to say.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
We're doing it.
I'm gay plus.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
What do you belong to ?
I'm gay plus.
What's today, gay plus, how'sthe weather?

Speaker 1 (28:30):
Gay plus.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
Are you looking for a weather Gay plus Are you?

Speaker 1 (28:38):
looking for a job, Gay plus.
I was like using that.
I'm like, oh, it's funnybecause that work.
I was like sometimes I helpwith doing stretches for the
ergo at the thing, and then Ididn't feel like doing it
yesterday or on Friday.
A lot of them tired.
I was like doing it and they'relike oh, you didn't want to do
it yesterday or on Friday.
A lot of them tired.
I was like doing it and they'relike oh, you didn't want to do
it.
Like why?
Because I usually do it.
I was just now.

(28:59):
From now on I'm like this it'sPride Month, it's my month, I'm
not doing no exercises.
And they laugh.
I'm like, yeah, so I'm lettingy'all know.
So if y I'm not doing it, I'mnot doing it.
Give me next month, I'll do itagain next month.
I'll do my duties again nextmonth, but this month it's pride
, it's my month.
Because you are what Gay, plusthat's right, that's right.

(29:21):
I'm gay, plus it's gay plustime.

Speaker 2 (29:26):
What time is it?

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Gay plus Okay.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
All right, that's enough.
No, it ain't.
Because we are gay plus.
I'm moving that forward andy'all going to use that too.
So, if you are gay plus, I wanty'all to enjoy y'allself
Because, again, life is life, jobs ain't hiring, they acting
like they hiring.
I'm tired of going on LinkedInand looking at everything.
Ain't nothing linked or in,because they just need to change

(29:52):
their name too.
You probably not going to everfind a job on here, but just
keep showing our stuff for ouralgorithm so we can get clicks
and get paid off of ads.
There ain't nobody hiring.
Matter of fact, I think I wasabout to just go in there and
just talk to people for the dayand just make up a job and say,
yeah, this is what we do Contactme and put in the email.
That's what I say.
Is this rude?

(30:16):
I'm going to say only if youare gay plus, I'll hire you.
What that look like.
Is there anything else?
We're really on the topic.
There's nothing else we cantalk about.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
No, nothing really.
Now I'm a second gay plus, somight as well just leave,
because at this moment I don'tthink anything else is going to
happen anytime soon.
Or the topic is Now I'm juststuck on Gay Plus, so might as
