Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the final
episode of 2023, where we break
down the top 10 episodes of 2023.
It has been a wild, wild year Alot of firsts, a lot of crazy
things that broke into theheadlines.
Let's get right into it andlet's break down one of the
funnest years ever.
Wow, what a wild year, right?
(00:38):
So 2023?
We had a lot of things stealthe headlines, starting from the
Chinese spy balloons that wentacross America.
That was wild.
How about Taylor Swift takingover the NFL?
And, at one point, the NFL evenchanging their Twitter where it
said Taylor's version of theNFL Pretty wild stuff.
And then, of course, all thosepredictions that we made in 2022
(01:01):
with regards to AI absolutelyhappened, because it is the gold
rush of generative AI, whereevery single company is
clamoring for attention to pointout the latest and greatest and
to say use my sort of AI tech.
And a lot of people are sayingthat it is at the great risk of
(01:21):
movies like the Terminator tocome true, where robots take
over the world, where I don'tknow that that's happening
anytime soon.
I totally understand, though, the fear and but the conspiracy
theorists are definitely havinga ball with that.
Regardless of all theconspiracy theories, ai has been
an amazing, amazing thing, andI'm sure all of you have
(01:42):
tinkered with it just a littlebit, if not just for the fun
little app where you get toanimate yourself, or some really
robust piece of technology thatyou're implementing into your
business.
Ai is here to stay and it isrevolutionizing everything that
we do.
That's not the topic of some ofthe top headlines of 2023 is our
(02:04):
annual episode, my favoriteepisode of the year, where we
get to break down the top 10episodes of 2023.
And there have been some really, really good ones.
Without wasting any time, let'sget right into it.
Number 10, remember, this isthe top 10.
(02:25):
We're gonna be working our waybackwards.
So number 10 on the list was anepisode.
Let's see.
When was this episode?
This was episode five of seasonfour, and this the title of it
was Shocking Truth aboutfollowing your passions.
You have been lied to.
Really cool thing about thisepisode.
One thing to point out is thatthis one gained a lot of
(02:48):
attraction in the video formatof the show on places like
YouTube and people reallyattached themselves to it and we
had no one in the middle, pretty much as far as the
argument is concerned, but wehad like extremes on either side
of this particular coin, peoplearguing for it, people arguing
against it passionately.
But the premise of it is thatthis thing that we have preached
(03:11):
to you see a lot of theseinternet gurus saying it's all
about passion.
Follow your passion.
Quit your job if you're notpassionate about it.
Follow your passion is actuallyincredibly irresponsible and
they are lying to you becausethey're benefiting financially
from you following that allegedsort of passion.
Anyway, there's a lot more toit passion it could be a
component.
I highly recommend checkingthat episode.
(03:31):
That was a lot of fun to dobecause it's something that is
something that I'm actuallypassionate about that particular
topic.
We had a lot of fun with it andbut again, like the video
version of it, like that's athing that really gained some
virality and people had some funwatching and listening to that
show.
But that was number 10 on ourlist and that was actually
episode five of season four.
(03:51):
Number nine on our list was atitled Four Psychological Tricks
to Get People to Respect youImmediately.
Now, this was the secondepisode we had a lot of big
hitters in the early on in theyear episode two of season four
when this one particular droppedand this one contained a lot of
(04:12):
really good nuggets, whether itbe if you're someone who would
like to really sort of like getsome advantage when you're
walking into a networking eventor into a party or you're going
into an interview.
Are there things that you cando differently to be able to
attract attention, like thatperson that we all know that's
able to sort of hold court withpeople, right?
(04:34):
Are they doing something to beable to successfully do this?
The answer is yes, and we breakdown the four tricks to allow
you to become that person thateveryone wants to talk to.
That was a really, really funepisode.
Number eight on our list, I'msorry.
This was Building a Brand Onlinehow to monetize your success
(04:54):
Simple topic, pretty commontopic, and obviously it has to
do with money, so people love itand that's why it definitely
got into our top 10 here.
But this is definitely.
We broke down some suggestionson how you can monetize your
success.
How do you monetize your brandonline?
Outside of the obvious revenueopportunities with your business
, are there other opportunities?
(05:15):
Is there money that you'releaving on the table?
And we give you guys someadvice here and some suggestions
on things you could do tomonetize your success.
Next on this list right here, ofcourse, now we're into the AI
sort of episodes that we'retalking about Google Bard.
This was episode nine of thispast season and where we talked
(05:37):
specifically, though, about howall of these people were playing
catch up to chat GPT and feltthe pressure to quickly and
irresponsibly release AI stuff, because they wanted to take it
at number one advantage of theattention AI was getting, but
they didn't want, like chat GPT,to grab all of the market share
(05:59):
, so a lot of these companiesjust pushed out their stuff
without really properly goingthrough the right channel to
make sure it's ready, and we sawa massive mistake where there
was a $120 billion mistake thatGoogle made, and it failed to
really answer the chat GPT call.
I don't know if you guysremember that, but it made a lot
(06:20):
of errors and it was live, likethey did this live
demonstration of Google Bard, and it, like, gave wrong answers
, and so it proved itself to bean unreliable AI source.
So that was definitely a very, very interesting one.
Next on our list this wasepisode seven of this past
(06:42):
season, and this has to do withthe title of it was Maximize
your Social Media Exposure theSecrets Posting Strategy.
Now, if you are a client ofmine or you've ever participated
in any of my online academyprograms, I got a bunch of oh,
sorry if that was loud, sorryabout that, I just kicked the
table.
But I do have a bunch of onlinecourses and in one of the
(07:07):
courses I actually developed aformula that I've evolved over
the years to accommodate all thechanges algorithmically and
introduction to new platformsand whatnot.
But I have I sort of havebroken the algorithm and there
is a posting strategy that you, that literally anyone, can
implement, and so I cover someof the sort of some of the

Next on our list, this was alittle bit deeper into this
season.
This one was called Unlockingthe Life-Changing Benefits of
Coaching Youth Sports.
I did a few episodes withregards to coaching and youth
(08:13):
sports and the benefits.
This was one of them and peoplereally ate this one up and this
was the again, literallylife-changing benefits of
coaching.
So if you're ever in a positionwhere you have an opportunity
to maybe coach, I can'tencourage you enough like it is
amazing the things that you getout of it.

(08:36):
Unlocking the Life-ChangingBenefits of Coaching Youth
Sports.
In this past season, it was areally really good one Into the
top four now episodes of 2023,this actually was the first
episode of 2023, and it'samazing that the very first
episode is one of the top fourepisodes of the entire year.
(08:57):
But, understandably, it was areally really good topic and we
had a really really good timewith this one, and this was five
goal-setting strategies to helpyou actually achieve your goal
in 2023.
Think about it how many timeshave you set a New Year's
resolution and actuallycompleted it?
I mean, the sort of the jokeabout New Year's resolutions is
(09:18):
that everyone sort of fails toachieve the goal right.
So what we do is we break thatbreakdown why that happens, why
a lot of people fall short, andwhat you need to do in order to
prevent that from happening andactually achieve the goal that
you're setting out to do so.
Listen, the fact that we're nownot too far off from New Year's
I know a lot of you guys aregoing to be setting some New
Year's resolutions.
This actually would be a greatepisode for you.
(09:40):
This one is timeless.
This is evergreen.
This will live on forever.
What we had discussed, so checkit out.
Five goal-setting strategies tohelp you actually achieve your
goal for the next year.
This is episode one of seasonfour.
Pretty cool, all right, drumroll, we're into the top
three.
We're into the top three, righthere.
Number three this was in theheart of this amazing series.
(10:05):
We did a series this year.
This was the seven steps tocreating a successful marketing
plan, and what I did was Iunveiled the internal marketing
steps that my agency has TalkIQidea that we apply to brand new
big projects.
Anytime we have a new clientcome on board or we've got an
existing client that approachesus with a brand new product or
(10:28):
service that they want to bringto the market, we implement
these seven steps and what wedid.
What I did is I broke theseseven steps into seven different
episodes and a few of them gotinto our top 10.
This is one of them.
This was step number sixmastering the hunter-gatherer
approach, strategic marketingplan and feedback loop.
(10:51):
Now, yes, I want you to checkthis one out because it's part
of our top 10.
But what I would stronglyrecommend?
Go start at step one and gothrough step seven.
It's seven episodes, sevensteps.
Can each of them live on theirown?
100%, but you'll get more outof it if you listen to the
entire series.
It's just a seven episodeseries and it's flippin' awesome
(11:13):
.
You would absolutely love it.
Number two all right, we are inthe top two episodes of 2023.
See, you guys I don't know ifyou guys maybe have already have
your guesses what you thought, because you've been like a loyal
listener you're like, oh, Iknow exactly what the top two
are.
Or you're like, I know exactlywhat the number one episode is,
(11:33):
because this was amazing.
You saw it all over the place, you listened to it, you shared
it with family and friends,right?
Well, here you go.
The suspense is finally over.
We're going to reveal now thetop two episodes for Don't Fear,
grit 2023.
Number two was one of the sevensteps.
It was step number three ofcreating a successful marketing
(11:55):
plan.
This particular one wasdefining your niche how to
define your niche, why do youdefine your niche, and
everything in between.
This particular one people justloved this episode and there
was actually a pretty big jumpfrom number three on this list
to number two, and so thisepisode was obviously rock solid
(12:18):
.
People loved this one.
I didn't know that, of the eventhe seven steps, that this
would be one that people wouldjust go crazy over, but this is
the one where people got so muchvalue and they shared it like
crazy and it was all over theplace.
But this is step number three.
It was our seven steps of howto create a successful marketing
plan.
All right, guys, number one andI guarantee you all the loyal
(12:41):
listeners that listen to theshow or watch the show wherever
you guys watch it you probablyalready know what number one was
, because we actually talkedabout it before, because this
one just broke records.
For us.
This particular episode, thenumber one episode of 2023, was
leadership lessons from youthsports Discover the valuable
(13:02):
skills learned by young athletesand we broke this one down and
this really comes at a timewhere I'm so invested, right, as
you guys probably know right,I've got triplets.
My triplets just turned 13.
They've been going through thejourney of playing various youth
sports.
I'm on the board of one of theyouth organizations they are
(13:23):
part of.
I coach many, many, many, manyteams.
I'm very, very involved, so Ireally have my finger, my hand
on the pulse of what's going onin that particular community so
I can see firsthand, and thusthus talk firsthand of, what the
benefits really are.
What are these leadershiplessons that not just coaches
can develop and benefit from, but what are the leadership
(13:47):
lessons that kids develop?
The leadership skills, rather, that kids can develop.
What are the leadership lessonsthat they learn?
Right?
And this was amazing and wereally saw this one go all over
the place.
We saw youth organizationssharing this with their
communities, parents loving thisand sharing it and with their
kids.
I got some really greatfeedback from young athletes.
(14:09):
I think for me, that was likesuch, the one of the best
rewards is to see these youngathletes come through, have
maybe their parents or somethingshare it with them, and it sort
of like struck something andthey were like, oh, this really
hit home and they enough to thepoint where they reached out to
me and wanted to sort of sharetheir personal experiences.
This was awesome.
If you are a young parent withkids in youth sports, check out
(14:31):
