Margot and Meaks discuss episode eight season two, “Nebraska,” and what it means to lose all hope in a single moment for the Greene’s as opposed to the gradual incline of apocalypse loss that the group has experienced. Margot is still scared of Shane, but we dive deeper into how he views himself as a savior of everyone around him and how terrifying that is. Meaks is in awe of how many one-sided conversations there are in this episode allowing for so much tension. And, how many ways can we try to make sense of Lori’s actions in this episode? Well, we have two theories, but ultimately they are flimsy AF cause she’s so inconsistent in this one…
Other topics and tangents include: Lori kinda sucks in this episode, The Americans’ babysitter fanfiction Margot wants, Melissa McBride is good at acting, catatonic states, is Carl growing cold, Rick and Glenn talk about their feelings in a manly way, will the gun always be the “good death,” T-Dog is still in this show, and Dave is actually Peter Pan.
