In honor of National Apprenticeship Week, the Ohio Laborers’ Apprenticeship Program hosted a round table discussion with Lt. Governor Jon Husted, Director of the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation, Major General Deborah Ashenhurst, Director of the Department of Veterans Services, Ralph E. Cole, Business Manager and Secretary Treasurer of the Ohio Laborers' District Council, and Vince Irvin, Ohio Apprenticeship Coordinator. The panel's purpose was to discuss the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation and Veteran Services employment goals and how they align with the Ohio Laborers’ Union Apprenticeship Program and other registered apprenticeships programs.
