Speaker 1 (00:05):
Drama, Darling Drama, Darling drama, Darling.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Oh hello, ahoy, welcome aboard the Parceval three. Everybody, it's
Captain Glenn, your captain speaking, and we're going to be
talking about the blow deck sailing yet. Hello Emily, Emily thereesas.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
How you doing interesting stuff?

Speaker 2 (00:39):
That guy?

Speaker 1 (00:40):
No, that's Glenn shirtless leaning over his bed.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Oh that's right, yes he did.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Oh, that's my encyclopedia. Uh, it just travel with just
one encyclopedia per charter. Uh, this charter is m so
I'm getting to know everything in there because of mermaids
and the irons over here. No, you're so interesting stuff.
It's probably what was hanging up on the wall that

(01:08):
almost killed him last week.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
That was his lover. No.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Actually, I by the way, you guys, I know that
Captain Glenn is in a wonderful relationship and with a beautiful,
beautiful woman. And I've seen pictures. You're not allowed to
ful woman and they travel the ocean's blue. Some people
sent me they're like, no, he does have a girlfriend.

(01:34):
I'm like, I know, I'm just kidding, but she's gorgeous
and uh yeah, they travel all over. So Glenn is
happy as can be, even though I like to portray
him as this lonely man who just is in the
cabin all the time.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Reading, rummaging for snacks.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Yeah, it's more it's more fun.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
But he kind of he's very self entertained. That's what
I love about him.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Yeah, he's really independent.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Yeah, yeah, god, get it, Glenn.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Yeah, get it, get it Glenn. Oh you know, that's
what they used to call me back in the seventies,
Get it Glenn, when I used to go to key
parties and such.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
The big afro picture they love to put up. Yeah,
that's why I remember that.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Oh it was such a swinger. Anyway, So Daisy, we
pick up a Daisy basically telling Klois or trying to
not giving him the tough love that we agreed on
last week that she needed to. But she's like, you
need to be more elaborate, and I think you're capable
of doing it. And he's like, yeah, I'm the most
reliable chef on the East Coast.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Yeah, it's like, oh, you know, he said, I'm known
as the I'm actually known as the most reliable chef
on the West Coast. So the West Coast, I mean
it doesn't matter. It's just that he like, who who?
Who did this?

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Who?

Speaker 1 (02:53):
The Poles are wrong, dude.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
The Poles are also you know what, the West Coast
people are highly unreliable, so it doesn't take much to
be reliable on the West Coast.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
How dare you?

Speaker 2 (03:12):
It's true? We're all flakes out here?

Speaker 1 (03:14):
What are you talking about? Oh that's a horrible thing
to say.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
And we're immoral? Oh my god, and we oh okay, okay,
what I mean by that is okay. So I wouldn't categorize.
I mean, I hate to say this, but I wouldn't
categorize like you or me or our friends in that
group because most of us that we know are like

(03:40):
from the Midwest or the East Coast that weren't born
and raised here. And I just find that, like when
I moved to California, you can't. It's such a vast
difference between New York, New York City and LA New
York City. Your word is your word. People show up
for appointments, people show up for meetings, show up for

(04:00):
their coffee dates in on the West Coast. In LA. Sorry,
something came up, Oh I forgot that was today. I'm
an hour late. Everything falls through nothing. It's like sand
in your hand.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
I've literally never had anyone cancel at me on the
West Coast. Thank you, damn.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Go Emily.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
We're on the go go. This is always in all
of our brains when we're walking and standing by our
commitments because we are.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
So I'm just saying, like broad strokes, in the entertainment business,
that's how I've found it to be, and that's my
own personal experience. I've also found plenty of people that
can co sign that with me, and I'm sorry that
you're not going to be one of them.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
But just okay, I would give you that in the
entertainment industry. Yes, there's some flakage.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Oh sorry if I I certainly didn't. I should have
said that first.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
But the entire West Coast is mostly Lukan Valley.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Oh I'm not talking about that. I'm just talking about.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
La Yeah, okay, thank you. I said the entire fucking
West Clast love beIN.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Ooops, what happened? I don't know. You know, when Klois
is talking about the entire West Coast, he's talking about
La only. Oh Kloise, Klois, Chloise, you are having a

(05:39):
little trouble in the tip meeting. I love the Glenn
called him out. Oh everybody's doing so great. Gosh oo boy,
I love you all so much. Let's do a group hug.
Not you, Kloise, Not so fast, Kloisi. Luisi, make a
better choice, Kloise. You are not doing a good job. Kloise.

(06:00):
You know what you need, Klois. A little advice from me,
how about you? I don't think outside the box.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
It's like.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
He loves generic.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Between Glenn and the charter guest that comes on, I
mean they they ran out of cliches, truly. Yeah, the
and and then later the wife and the charter ran
out of cliched toasts. I was like, we've exhausted them all.
There's nothing left.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
What are someones that stood out to you? Oh my god,
we're gonna get sunburn We're gonna go sunburned out here.
We're from Minnesota.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
It was more like now that now we're cooking with gas.
When the sales went up, it was just like I
wish I would have written them down because he had
he had some that. I was like, oh wow, I
hadn't heard that one. In a minute like it, it
was just like, uh, and I think the Midwest accent
really helped lift those cliches right the top.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Oh yeah, really just beautifully risen bread.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Yeah, but I didn't mean to skip over Crewe night, so.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
I wasn't even there. We see a press preference sheet
meeting for Charter five or Sweet sixteen for and so
Chlois is really starting to take it seriously being called out,
and he is making notes. They're out at the crew
night and he is making notes at dinner about what

(07:29):
he's gonna do. He comes back to the boat, he's
in the galley making stuff.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
A little pasta granny down there rolling out the yeah,
pasta grand RABULI Yeah, I loved it.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Good for him. It's about time a little fire under
that ass.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Yeah, Like I want I just like to see him
doing like taking notes and doing that like what you
see on the Bear, like when he's like really passionate
about a meal. I'm like, yeah, I think that's what
all these charter guests think the chef is doing, but
they're not right. So I was happy to see it.

(08:03):
I was been excited to see what he did with it.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
Isn't it interesting that Daisy called him out several times
that didn't seem to affect him at all. But when
captain called him out and of course in front of everybody,
and in the most friendly way, barely admonishing him at
all by saying like, oh, you know, just think outside
the backs. Uh, he was rattled to his core.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Well yeah, because the captain's the captain. I mean, if
it was Sand, I don't think are you saying like
that he doesn't take direction from women.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Yeah, on some level, I was like, he's not taking
it seriously enough from Daisy when he should have.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
Well, also, Daisy wasn't very direct.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Yeah, that's sure. She kind of Yeah, she beat around
the general.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
I think if it was Sandy, I think he would
have listened too. I think, you know, I think it
just was that Daisy wasn't clear and Glenn wasn't clear.
But coming clear Daisy and a captain note, I think
I would have snapped two as well. Whatever you do is.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Going to have hurdles. So, uh, you know, they go out,
nothing much happens. Keith doesn't want to get involved in
a love triangle with Danny.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
She's good news. Neither does Gary. Uh. Yeah, yeah, did
you see how hard Emma was hitting Gary at the table.
She was like punching him hard.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
I know. I was like, well, that's how you fight
with your siblings.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Also, like, where's that energy for the fucking ropes for
the pull deck.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
When you need to get a towel for the guests. Yeah,
use that same fisting.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
Oh yeah, use that same fisting technique to grab a
towel for a charter guest.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
Cool.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Okay. So yeah, in the morning, Gary is teaching Emma
how to drive it tender and it's just going terribly wrong.
She's this is so rough.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
He was such a good teacher. I know how to
drive it tender now. And the fact that Emily Emma, yes, yes,
thank you after that episode, that she cannot receive anything
in it. Something's going off, yeah, can't. I mean it
was lessons.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
I think, and I'm sorry to speak out of turn,
but I think she's got ADHD.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
I think it goes deeper than that. I think it's
like the second well.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Yeah, we've got the other issues that we talked about
with the sister and the sisters, the prized possession of
the family.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
I don't think that's accurate. I know she says that.
I think it's a deep, deep, depression coupled with anxiety,
and like, I'm not yes, I'm not even gonna I
am absolutely diagnosing her.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Well you know we are, Yeah, I mean.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
But the anxiety of somebody telling her how to do
something and her reacting like that, Like I don't even
know how she got this far.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
I don't either. She should have been fired so long ago.
Captain Lee would never ever ever stand for this. I
honestly think Captain Sandy would be like, all right, you
get one more chance, and that would have happened on

(11:35):
the first day.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
Yeah, yeah, Captain Captain Lee's rubbing me the wrong way.
By the way, I don't know what his deal is,
why he has to go for Sandy every fucking chance
he gets in the press.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Is that happening still?

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Yes, when saw it like a week ago, I was
gonna ask you about it anyway.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
Yeah, what did he say?

Speaker 1 (11:56):
It was just more of the same, like I'll never like,
he like said something nice about another captain and then
he's like, but you know how I feel, I'll never say.
I was like, yeah, I'll look it up, I'll send
it to you.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
He's just yeah, I don't know what's up.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
Maybe he's him and Emma have the same issue.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Yeah, well get some medication, guys.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
Yeah, no truly, or you know what, go to the joint.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Yet.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Gary talks to Emma and he's like, do you really
want to be here? There's no sense of agency. I
don't know how to talk like Gary. He's like, smoke breaks,
you need to improve on your urgency initiative. And she's
just like, whoa, whoa, I don't drink coffee, no shit, yes,
start start sleeping, standing up, but we know that, Yeah,

(12:50):
didn't take it well. And then Gary goes and tells
Glenn about it, and he's like, all right, just let
it seem her down in a little bity, you know.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
Dude.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
Gary's like a captain. He's like, what d.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
Do?

Speaker 2 (13:08):
What is the letter of the daity?

Speaker 1 (13:11):
It goes on interesting stuff. Also, Emma's like to Gary,
you never given me. You've never given me feedback. And
I'm like like, this is this entire season has been
you getting feedback?

Speaker 2 (13:28):
Wow, we have the footage, we've seen it. Yeah, well yeah,
even a daisy. She usually stays in her lane and
in her department. But she's like, it seems like she's
lacking all the fucking skills to be here. She's like,
what the fuck? Gary? I usually mind my own fucking business,

(13:51):
But does this girl even know what this is that
we're on right now?

Speaker 1 (13:58):
She I get what Gary was saying to like, just
if you look urgent, have a look of urgency. She
cannot even produce that.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
He goes to grab that towel and she's like.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
When the yeah, the camera panned over and she's right there. Yeah,
that was free arms dead down like I was like,
oh my god, you.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Know what she would be good at the guards in
front of the Buckingham Palace hours.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
Yeah, I think she's got something good. Like clearly somewhere.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
Everyone she got something, Emily, everybody's got good inside of them.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
I think so. I think something snapped in a recent
time because she got this far.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
Maybe a siren took her soul. Oh now it makes
sense they do that. Oh yes, I forgot to tell
you about that, Emma. Okay, Gary, we need to go
reverse these soul extractions. So Gary, why didn't you get
your uh, get your school bigear on and go down
and go Oh and also, the sea witch took her voice,
so go down there and get that back from Ursula.

(15:12):
All right, sails up. Oh seven a ey knots of wind.
Here we go.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
Oh fuck that. I hated that sail up the sailor,
especially with that crew. The I'm glad that the guests
really wanted it, but this this one gave me extra anxiety.
No one was ready for it down below.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
Oh hold on, before we sail, let me just take
a quick break. The holiday season is tough on skin.
Trust me, I'm a Michigan girl. I know what it's like.
And now I'm in California and the moisture is just
being sucked out of my skin on a daily basis.
You've got your colder weather, your stuffy indoor heating, and
NonStop festivities can lead to a dull, dehydrated complexion. That's

me because I've not been someone who's really focused on

it's the thinnest skin. It is the most delicate and
with these peptides that One Skin has figured out, by
the way, founded by an all female team of scientists,
Can I get a dj airhorn for that? That's what

(16:40):
I'm talking about. When you're using this eye topical supplement,
it builds the epidermal thickness and it's all because of
their proprietary OS one peptide. It's the first of its
kind to switch off the cells that cause the skin
to become more vulnerable. You don't have to take my
word for it. I mean truly. One Skin has over
sixty three hundred five start reviews for their moisturizers, their cleansers,

(17:02):
and their sunscreens. And by the way, their OS one
face topical supplement is my go to. I have seriously
noticed that my skin is firmer, healthier, it's more radiant.
I mean, just look at me. I record this podcast
every day on film. People can see me. I need
to take care of my skin. One Skin addresses skin

And we're back talking below decks sailing at Sherry from
Minnesota was born ready? How can you say that when
they're getting ready to sail. When she got on that boat,
you know, she just was like, I am ready to sail.

(20:46):
I want it all. I want the wind in my hair.
I want to see that genu app. I want to
be tassed around like a wave, like a like a
ball with a seal playing with a ball. I want
to be flipped. I want to be hipped. I want
to be fucked up the ass. I'm just kidding.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
And I want to use my own decorations and I
want an indoor birthday party, Get it going, Glen, Glenn?

Speaker 2 (21:14):
Hello, was that a tampon? Insert that one of the
stews found on the ground. Yeah, yes, that's tough. That is.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
I don't understand not using gloves when you're cleaning the bathrooms.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
A hundred yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
I mean, I if it's an environmental thing, they probably,
but you can have there's environmentally friendly gloves like I
I can't. I can't understand that at all.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
Well, I mean there's there's gonna be hurdles.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
Right, there's going to be a sound drop for that.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
Oh, whatever you do is going to have hurdles. Oh layer,
you know we were going sailing now with Sherry and
her rag tag group of friends from Minnesota.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
They're her family.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
Whatever or alrighty, I love when going on the tender
by the way, not for Glenn, sure whatever. Everybody on board, right,
let's go clubbing a head baby Bavy Crocket thing of
the wild Frontier. Oh everybody? Yeah, the dishes were crashing

(22:34):
on that sale, people flying. Yeah that was fun. Oh cake?

Speaker 1 (22:40):
What about Sherry?

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Oh she's like, I have four wardrobe changes?

Speaker 1 (22:45):
Was that so? So they were her daughters and then
like her friends? Were they the glam team, because then
he was like doing her hair, the kid's hair.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
I don't know, and I'm like, these are the things
that I don't.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
Ask ow they're not your encyclopedia cheese.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
Louise, No, they sure not aren't are not?

Speaker 1 (23:08):
So?

Speaker 2 (23:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (23:11):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
Daisy was talking about how the Sweet sixteen dinner. She's
like they wanted to be fancy, and Cherry gives a
speech which wasn't much of a speech. It was like,
enjoy life as it comes. When the sun's sun rises
in the Midwest and sets somewhere else in the world,
take the take the bullet from the horns, and lift

(23:36):
off my drop.

Speaker 1 (23:37):
Woo what And then she picked it back up a
little later and said, just some more bullshit you'd read
in a card. And everybody's like, yeah, man.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
Deep, yeah, as long as you say something. Chloy seems
to be doing a great job.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
I know. It all looked amazing. I appreciated it. I
would have been hungry afterwards, and this is why I
prefer family style.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
Oh interesting, Okay, I.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
Can just keep on helping myself.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
Thank you, keep on keep it on.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
Yeah, my anxiety is right now.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
When Sherry was walking down those stairs. She ate shit
so hard. I know, we have not seen the likes
of anyone shitting so hard.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
Shitting so hard, yes.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
I'm sorry, not just just falling, falling down flat on
their face on the deck and just popping up like
no one's business.

Speaker 1 (24:44):
Good on her, That good on her, That good on
her adrenaline. That's gonna hurt tomorrow so bad. If something's broken,
she's gonna get through the night.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
Oh my god, that looked like it hurt WHOA.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
And she's like, oh, I didn't skip my knees. I'm
all good. Her hip is shattered.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
Yeah, that was tough to watch, but it was. It
was amazing.

Speaker 1 (25:12):
Whatever you do is going to have hurdles, and you're
gonna walk through them and fall on your face for sure.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
So they go to the club and then they come
back and Emma gets her voice back from the sea
witch and marries Gary the Prince.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
Like, say what you will about I don't know what
the fuck happened off camera about Gary, Well, watching him
come out of a coma and addressing that ship that
was going to hit them.

Speaker 2 (25:41):
I almost forgot because I didn't even write that down.
I was so captivated. That was crazy, crazy, you guys.

Speaker 1 (25:48):
I don't understand. I need and maybe we'll get the
full picture next week because Keith seems oblivious to it.
He's steering, Gary gets up, he's talking to Danny, right, Yeah,
and for a split second he's the only one that
notices that catastrophe about to happen. Yeah, yeah, I want

(26:10):
him working on my boat.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
Oh he's amazing. Like, yeah, we're gonna put aside who
Gary as a person and all that other stuff, but
from the jump he has been he's a true pirate.
He is an unbelievable sailor and that is no joke.
We've seen him jump into action so many times. Yeah,
and on sailing yacht it's a whole different game than

(26:35):
obviously on you know, the the cruise the cruisers and
Colin too, you know, they're both like that's what you
know when we first start watching this, it's what's so
attractive when you see these men actually doing this work.
It's very the women one hundred one hundred percent. So
when you see him jump into action like that, it

(26:55):
it is such a thrill. And I cannot believe how
that came out of nowhere. And you said that, uh,
who was in the wheelhouse at that point, Keith.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
We just see a quick cut to Keith steering in
the wheelhouse. So but I'm thinking like, uh, yeah, I would.
I don't under we don't know exactly what happened. It
just was it just the way it was presented to
us in that last minute. It felt like Gary was
the only one that knew and Keith is down there
steering because I in my mind, the wheelhouse has pointed

(27:28):
the other direction. But he's got TV you can see, yeah,
but I here are screens, but I I just think, yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
It did look like it was the back of the
boat by the way, right they're anchored though, you know
what I mean. So the wind is pushing them.

Speaker 1 (27:47):
And that other boat looks like it's going rogue, right happen.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
That's what it looks like. That's what it looks like
to me at this point that they're actually both moving, well,
the Parcival is moving a little bit because of the wind. Yeah,
and that boat it's I don't know, man, it's so
insane and Gary going like using his actual manual mouth

(28:11):
as a whistle, you know.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
Instead of an air horn. I was like, where are
the air horns?

Speaker 2 (28:16):
Because nobody knows yet. They don't even know enough to
even get the air horn going, to get a horn going,
They don't know.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
Oh yeah, no, I just thought I thought that. I
thought that they had air horns on desk for sure.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
Yeah, but he's not at one yet. He's trying to
he's got to go get that the bumper thing it's called.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
Yeah, what is that? I thought it was a bumper.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
Yeah, there's another name for it, but whatever, Okay, I'll
think of it in a second. So yeah, that's just
absolutely amazing.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
Yeah, while the guests are waiting for Gary, right, because
that's why he's even awake. It was a fluke, he
was even awake.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
A fluke. Yeah, Oh that's what I like to call
a flu gone to sea a fluky. All right, go
into bed, all right, So looking forward to next week.
You know, these types of cliffhangers are always exciting. Yeah, y'all,
thanks for listening. Go head on over to uh let

(29:16):
me let me give you a little for listening. I
really enjoyed your company being here. You know, I like
our time together. I like it. I like it to
know yet I like I like you getting to know me,
like like you like healing.

Speaker 1 (29:36):
Then thriving.

Speaker 2 (29:37):

just use this to take a little map, you guys.
This has been really fun, and head on over to
patreon dot com slash drama Darling for so many more recaps,
so much more fun.

Speaker 1 (29:54):
The class is over, but feel free to lay on
your mats and take some time for you right now.

Speaker 2 (30:06):
I kind of want to just the seed to take
us out. I wanted to. They won't let me layer
it with this music. Sometimes it lets me layer, sometimes
it doesn't. You know, there's going to be hurdles.
