Speaker 3 (01:05):
Hello listen, I'm no queen.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Here's why I'm no queen. I last night somehow thought
I was like just caught the show at the very beginning,
And it turns out it there was, and it was
on tving turns out that it was already like fifteen
minutes in ten fifteen in so I did not and
I didn't catch it. I didn't catch that I was
missing anything. I thought that was a great show anyway,
(01:33):
So I just full disclosure. This is quite I don't
think this has ever happened in the history of me
recapping these shows for about ten years, so kind of
the back for me. But what happened happened, I don't know.
I didn't even have my Loomy Gummy. I didn't even
have my Loomi gummy. So I was fully so I
(01:54):
don't know, guys. Uh So, anyway, I just want Emily
and Deana to kind of speak on the first fifteen
you know, of what I missed, because was there anything crucial?
And let me just welcome us officially into our Orange
County episode what I.
Speaker 4 (02:16):
Miss I don't think there's anything like crazy. I mean,
I think the biggest takeaway is that we find out
that like Emily ingression got Emily that what go on?
What's your affair? And so they're like talking about it,
(02:37):
but they're not saying names. We put it together.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
You're so ready. I got to give her. I gotta
give her a slow clap because you you see opportunities, Emily,
and you see them.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
You know, I should have let you go. I should
have let her just go. But I know you so
well now, like I'm like, here she comes, she's still
I got.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
A sorry this week, but I did not like, and
then I loved and it's my favorite thing of all time. Okay,
Cohen started the Howard Stern showback from their summer break,
and we thought Andy took it over and I was
too out of it to fully put all the details
together in the moment, and then but it was awesome.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
Did you fall off? Did you fall for it?
Speaker 4 (03:28):
It's a long story in terms of I woke up
and just hit Serious Live to see if Howard was there,
and he was there, so I missed the bit. But
then I was out of it and then I thought, well,
maybe that was a rerun. So it hit me. It
did hit me, like I was like for two seconds
because Andy was awesome. Andy was so convincing.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
I totally believed it at first, at least for the
first thirty seconds.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
See Amy, I don't think of you as an active
Howard listener, but oh I.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
Saw the I saw the clip on Instagram.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
Oh okay, okay, that makes sense. I was like, I
didn't know you were like on it to.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
That No, I'm not active. I pop in here and there,
but no. I And when I saw that clip, I
was like, and Andy was such a good actor.
Speaker 4 (04:18):
So good and so like, hey, I can't really speak
on it. I don't really know. Yeah, it's not how
we intended it to be. Oh, I like people say,
how it is so patty lapoone's gonna be on.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
Well, that actually is where I started to turn. And
then and then certainly I was out of it. And
then when he was like, uh, you know, I'm going
to talk about housewives, I was like, okay, but.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
Howard talks about the housewives.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
He loves true Hill.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
I know, but it was too far fetched and he's
but you know when he was like I'm going to
do my best to win you guys over, I mean,
he was so convincing and he was somber and yeah,
and and I love that he was like, how are
if you're listening? It just was so good.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
What was kind of perfect because he's on serious so
it's like, oh, that's a no brainer, you know, just
pop him on over to No. One in one hundred.
And then he also that is a position he has coveted,
Like I do believe that Andy has always been like
I wanna take over for Howard's spot. I think in
(05:25):
his you know, when you have your vision board up
like I do. Think Andy has always admired Howard. We
know this and so it and he's been a guest
a million times. And for Emily and I, we have
been waiting for the word like is Howard coming back?
Is he's signing another five year contract. It's crucial information
(05:47):
for us.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
So yeah, I literally woke up that day without looking
at news or anything. It just went too serious and
saw Howard live and hit it and so I was like, okay, okay,
like yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
It's serious stuff. I mean, it's serious XM stuff. And
I'm with you, like I feel that every time his
contract is being negotiated, I feel worried for the world,
you know. I just I get really wrapped up in
it too, and and that it just wow, it was
such a great prank. And I, of course, you know,
thought of you two, but especially because it's a prank, Emily,
(06:19):
I thought, I'm so happy that you kind of felt
for it for a couple of way. I was like,
this is so great because the prankster needs to be pranked.
You know and the.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
Best of all time. Greatest of all time for me. Wow,
I mean, world's colliding in to sabotage my morning and
the best of it.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
Anyway, has it reinvigorated you as a prankster? Do you
feel energized?
Speaker 4 (06:49):
I am trying to tell you that Slade fuck Joe
after he married Gretchen, and you keep cutting me off.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
So yes, it is so.
Speaker 4 (06:59):
It is happened, so funny.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
All right, Well, anyway, I think the beginning is a
lot of setup of Shannon not wanting to do this trip.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
I think is kind of Shannon Shannon in these like
at home shots. Just yeah, she's like letting go and
letting God in these shots in a way that is
someone inspiring, It really is.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
She doesn't get to shifts.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
It's like alarming, inspiring and concerning, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
At the same time, yeah.
Speaker 4 (07:45):
I think also coming off of last season, like I
just where she was so like to your point, Deanna,
I think she does need more time in between filming
season because yeah, it is just coming through coming off
of last season pretty much straight into Love Hotel into this.
This is a lot for Shannon, And yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
So what happened with the Shannon scene. Where are we?
What happened?
Speaker 4 (08:10):
Well, there's a couple she's getting she's at the med
spa and she with her daughter, and then Tamara calls
facetimes her and Shannon is like shrinking into the couch
like why had girls? Why a trip?
Speaker 3 (08:26):
How okay?
Speaker 4 (08:29):
They're going to.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
Scula Tamaracula recula.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
I had to call it back because I was like
it was later I realized it's not a full girls trip.
She's just inviting the people that she's upset with Gina
uh to mediate. It's just like Shannon and gen, which
I didn't realize. So and and I thought, did she
initially pitch this as just a girls trip? I couldn't.
And so whatever, that's to make upamasa.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
Okay pretty much.
Speaker 4 (09:08):
And then also then at the same time, Emily and
Tamra are in how many fucking gift shops they have
in the OC My god, it's like every seat every
episode they're in three high end gift stores. But anyway,
Tamar is saying, like, Shannon is one of my best friends,
so I really like want to make this great for her,
(09:31):
and I oh and make up with her and I'm
just like, Tamra, take this episode to your therapist, because
it's not like it's crazy, it's just the setup too
crazy with Tamra.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
Yeah, that she's her best friend and she wants to
make up. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (09:45):
Always, it's like, always, let me make the let me
keep repeating this pattern of a close relationship that I
can melt down and then remold over and over and
over again.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
Yeah. And it doesn't have any retention of what she
has done. No retention.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Okay, so they agree to go, Okay, what's next.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
Well, I think we do have an important scene with
Heather and her co host her podcast guest, Dylan mulvany,
and we get to hear Heather, you know, really lean
into she has queer children, Dylan is a trans person
(10:30):
and she is basically, you know, double just sharing with
the audience this is I'm very concerned about the state
of the world and this is very important to me.
And we learned that she which is interesting with with
Gretchen on the cast. I wonder what that will because
Gretchen's been pretty vocal I think online about not being
(10:52):
pro trans pro you know, so I'm g plus get there,
you know. But then we have the reveal that she
is doing the Groundlings musical.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
Now get out. I saw that later. That's amazing, it's amazing,
it's amazing. It's literally what she should be doing. I'm
blown away. So I'm so happy about this.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
But that's right, you know, like she's been playing this
character of a rich lady for so long. Another Groundlings
like exercise that she's done for many years now, and
I think like to see her doing her truth as
she is, which is like a broad actress doing some
fun projects. I'm like, yes, this is right for you.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
I think it's very humbling for anyone, you know, later
in your life to go back to any kind of class,
any kind of education, any kind of training. I also
think that it can be humbling when you're thinking about it,
but once you wrap your mind around it and you
it is the most empowering thing and it's the most
(12:02):
exciting thing you could possibly do, you know, get continuing
your education, exploring a new career. And so for her
to be jumping into you know, improv and sketch comedy
in a way that is so intensive because we know
and we know all about the Groundlings. We have so
many friends that went through that program, and I love
that we saw her just like on that stage, singing
(12:25):
in this musical and just doing great. You know what
was a little bit of an insult though when they
were like, comedy, Heather wants to do comedy, and I
was like, she was on a fucking she did sitcom.
She's a comedic actress. She knows how to deliver comedy.
It just goes to show how little they know about
or appreciate her talents at all.
Speaker 4 (12:45):
Yeah. I felt the same way, especially I get their
level of getting it because they've only seen Heather in
this gear. But I mean overall, like she is a
professional actor, right, give her the script, She'll figure it out, right,
She'll be funny with the script. I mean, yeah, I.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
Could deliver it. She'll deliver the technique.
Speaker 4 (13:07):
I will say. If it's if she's asked to be
in a three Amigo Amigas show with Shannon, I don't
know if that's going to be best for Heather, but
it would if if she has I think she'd have
to have a bit of business. It's a nod to
the Stern show. It just happened. She needs a bit
of business on to have on stage. And then she'd be.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
Yeah, I actually think she could creative direct a show
like that, and and sort of I do. I just
hearing that, I'm like, she could you just ask Asset.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Deanna just got a pep in her step over that idea.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
I did.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
I don't because I just don't think she could go
up there and uh lose total control to camera and Shannon.
Speaker 3 (13:58):
No, but she could have in get the lay of
the land and sort of put some structure. I mean,
I haven't seen this show, but I have to imagine
it's not riddled with structure, and so she could come
in and like really put a show together and like
do some true bits, you know.
Speaker 4 (14:18):
Yeah, that's what I like about doing and singing.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
That's what I like about her doing the Groundlings and
doing improv is that, like she needs so much loosening
up that this can help her in so many ways
in her life. And we have noticed, at least I
have this season. I've really enjoyed her this season, and
I'm wondering if this training is part of the reason,
(14:43):
because she does seem a little bit more organic and
kind of playful in scenes that we're not used to.
So hats off to you Groundlings. When did we get
to Are we to the animal shelter yet? Because that's
where I started watching.
Speaker 4 (14:57):
Yes ma'am, Yeah, yes, ma'am. Well that's where I started.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
And who brought him there? Was it to Emily?
Speaker 3 (15:10):
I think Emily's I think was Emily's idea, and then
she brought Jen, which is the perfect person to accompany her.
Speaker 4 (15:18):
It's nice to see them Jenny's friends.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
I know, and I might take away you know, with
all those stuff with them Katie, it just has put
Jen in like a different place. But you know after
that scene, I mean, Jenna is such a good person,
you know, she you just she is.
Speaker 4 (15:37):
Her pep talk was so good to Emily in that moment.
It wasn't just like it didn't seem superficial. It actually
had some.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
Omph to it.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
It did.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
It was really solid. It was yeah, it built her up.
It gave her hope and she heard her it was.
It was so great by the way he two things
one while that just Katie's just gone, you know, just gone,
just gone bye, bizarre And then on the note with Jen.
(16:11):
So Jen was on Watcher Happens Live last night and
I saw the clip today where she was asked how
do you feel about when you saw Kate Gretchen on
the show say that she did go to the hospital.
And Jen was like, that was shocking to me. That
was news to me. She's never said that, and I
(16:34):
don't think I didn't feel concerned. And I picked up
the phone and called her right away, and Gretchen's answer
was she was really tired, I don't know, some other
bullshit and it was left at that, and I just thought, well, Jen,
you know, you've got to answer to yourself in the
mirror because now you're sleeping with the devil.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
Yeah. Yeah, and Katie, Katie will be back right.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
Because it's just a she knows, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (17:04):
Yeah, well they think they said that a couple temporarily.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
Yeah, yeah, but I mean like who knows? I got
who knows? I guess, Yeah, time will tell. I mean sure,
she'll certainly be at the reunion.
Speaker 4 (17:16):
Interesting that Jen picked up the phone and called Gretchen
and not Katie. After that, I feel like what she
said and watch what happens. I do feel like that
was I would have also called Katie.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
I would have been nice if she also called Katie.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
Yeah, right, so it's yeah, she you know this is
why these things go left when you try to do
a little scam. When you try to it's hard. It's
hard to keep lies in the air, you know, because
someone just Gretchen got got tripped up being grilled and
(17:52):
she was like, I did show up at some point,
you know, and so.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
I tear Aunta hasa that's the sixth so sick. What
that's infection? Bely She said that what can you say?
Speaker 3 (18:07):
Misspoke?
Speaker 2 (18:09):
I misspoke, and I miss I was. I was tired
and I misspoke. I'm working on my grutch and I
don't know. But Kiki, we've met.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
Hi.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
How did I not know that? I didn't know that either.
I don't know anything. I just I just I'm tired
a lot.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
Wild.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
Oh my god, oh gosh. Well, the Luke and Keller situation,
you know, my heart always goes out to any any
parents dealing with children who have and they have they're
having challenges, and it's just I know they'll get through it.
I'm just I send out so many good vibes, and
there are so many answers out there and so many
(18:52):
opportunities out there for for children that where you're struggling
with these different challenges and and so I'm just wishing
her the best direction to go in. I'm sure that
a lot of people have reached out to her, you know,
because she's sharing this journey and we're hearing a lot
of symptoms. So it's really nice to understand this because
(19:14):
it'll be an educational experience for all of us as
we go through this with her. And you know, you're
walking a fine line when you involve your kids on
the show like this. But this is her whole life
right now. She is desperate and just like, this is
her kids, you know, this is her child is just
like and her marriage is at stake because of this.
(19:35):
I mean, this is very intense. So I feel like
if she wasn't sharing this, I don't know how she
could continue because this is such a huge part of
her life right now, Like it's every second of every day.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
Do you think she could she could without putting him
on TV with it a little bit? That's the part
that I'm.
Speaker 2 (19:55):
Like, you don't like that, Yeah, well.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
It seems like really in it, you know, even the
thought of her saying publicly like it's affecting her marriage,
like God forbid, they don't make it then the kids
are all like, well, it was because.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
It was luke'swealt, you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (20:13):
It just is intense.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
It's intense. Yeah, I agree.
Speaker 4 (20:17):
I'm so back and forth on this because you know,
they like these I can't. I just can't imagine being
Luke's age and all my shit's out there, like and
they we know he goes to school and has to
hear about it. So I mean, and then at the
same time, I'm like, well, you're helping a lot of people.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
So I hit the back of both sides. I totally agree,
it is. It's both sides. Yeah, it's tough, Gina.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
Wait was it?
Speaker 2 (20:47):
Gina called out Tamara for pulling Shannon away to have
a drink when last year she was so hard on
her for drinking. That was crazy.
Speaker 4 (20:55):
That was this crazy thing is crazy. I know we're
going to get there, but like tamor pick a side,
like you can't just do that and then have drinks
with her and then also go to a vineyard like
what are we doing?
Speaker 2 (21:10):
No, no, it's so wrong. It does not make any sense.
And then to throw it back on Gina, how did.
Speaker 3 (21:16):
She do that? Wait? How did she throw it back?
Speaker 4 (21:19):
Didn't she say at the end of the episode, She's like.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
Spead about you right now, she's a set of you.
That's the drinking. It's like she's like, now Gina is
still concerned about you drinking?
Speaker 3 (21:30):
Yeah, right right, Sorry, well.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
I mean it is it's a lot. It's a lot.
I just jumped to the very end, so thank you
for keeping no. It's insane. I do not tamra is.
Boy does she go up and down and left? And
I mean, what an unhanded housewife.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
I do have to Shannon calling it out. You know,
she's really like, this is uncomfortable, it's messy, it's sweaty,
there's no nuance to it. I mean, please, just you know,
have your Temecula weekend and like breathe through it. She
is just like throwing everything at Shannon and very man,
(22:10):
it's just intense.
Speaker 4 (22:12):
You know, she's throwing every pot and pant in that suitcase.
No bag for the dry noodles. I never a noodle
or any food that touched the inside of a raw
suitcase raw suitcase.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
Were those noodles in some sort of packaging that they
just they must have just fallen out paging.
Speaker 4 (22:33):
In maybe the late two thousands or late nineties. They
were in a bag and then Shannon grab those out
of the back of her cupboard. Yeah, through them it. Oh,
we'll finally go through these noodles.
Speaker 2 (22:48):
But because the box was already opened, so half were used.
Speaker 4 (22:52):
But I think it's also slat and it's feeling out
of being out of control because she packed everything so
she could have full control control, like I can control this,
I can control the pots and pans, I can control this.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
I is my plate. This is my plate. I bring
this plate. I bring this platter.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
When she pulled out when she said she brought an
egg bite maker, I was like, this is just gone
too far. A and B. I'm interested. I might need one,
but like, yeah, I know, yeah, And how many days
were they there?
Speaker 2 (23:26):
And an emulsion an emulsion emotion blender? Not one night.
Speaker 4 (23:32):
I think they say we're going to be there twenty
four hours, right, it has to be two nights because
they did dinner. She was making breakfast. I kind of
understood when she said I'm making breakfast, but I was
also like, oh.
Speaker 2 (23:46):
I see much of it. Okay, that makes way more sense.
We just haven't seen the breakfast yet. Oh I can't
wait for this breakfast. Actually, yeah, yeah, yeah, wait, let's
take a quick break, so then we'll come back and
we'll talk about anticipating this breakfast. Let's head into this
fall season and let's get healthy. You guys, yeeha, have
you ever heard of cowboy colostrum. I'm so excited to
(24:08):
be doing this ad. We've all been there, eating clean,
taking your supplements, doing everything right, but your gut still
feels off, your energy is low, your skin's not glowing.
You know what. It's hard being a cabaret star like myself.
So I'm trying to gear up for my show in November,
and I'm so glad that Cowboy colostrum is along for
(24:28):
the ride because I feel like I'm going to get
there and I'm going to be in my prime come November.
Let me tell you what it is, okay. Colostrum is
often called liquid gold. You've heard of it. It's nature's
original super food, if you will. It's the first nutrition
we get at birth, packed with immune factors, growth compounds,
and nutrients your body still craves today. Well, Cowboy colostrum
(24:50):
uses only the highest quality colostrum, whole first day milking,
never stripped or overprocessed, and always ethically harvested after the
calf gets their share, and it's so easy. You just
mix it into your coffee or your milk or you're smoothie.
I just did it this morning in my coffee. I
love the vanilla. It tastes amazing. And if you have
(25:11):
more of a sweet tooth, get the strawberry, which is
just restocked. That's the word on the street, and it
tastes like a milkshake. People swear by this for gut health,
hair growth, immunity, and recovery, and I need all of those.
I need my nutrients and my antibodies this fall. I
need a strong immune system, and I know you do too.
I just started and I can't wait to share my
(25:32):
experience in real time with you guys. And for a
limited time, my Darling listeners get twenty percent off their
entire order. That is a great deal. Just head on
over to Cowboy colostrum dot com and use my code
drama at checkout. The link is in my podcast notes.
As always, that's twenty percent off when you use code
Drama at cowboycolostrum dot com. After you purchase, they'll ask
(25:57):
you where you heard about them. So please support my
show and tell them that I sent you. Okay, we
are back. We're talking Orange County. I'm with Emily Teresa's
and Deanna Chang. So she brought. By the way, Mackenzie
Child is huge. I mean with these ladies, you know
a housewives. A housewife loves a Mackenzie Child's pattern that
black and white check. You know what I'm talking about. Yes, absolutely,
(26:19):
that's what that is. And Shannon loves beetlejuice. Yeah, like
a beetlejuice.
Speaker 3 (26:23):
Path for.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
Theephorae checkered board you name it, Vans, I mean, yes,
thank you.
Speaker 3 (26:34):
I needed this.
Speaker 4 (26:35):
Yeah, we're a verbal Pinterest.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
Let's keep identifying some of your books save it on
this board. I'm obsessed that she brought an entire suitcase
full of all that, like just random shit. That's why
we love Shannon. She's completely tossled about this season, and
so is her luggage. So bravo for her love it. Yeah,
(26:58):
and they even on the ride to Mecula, She's like,
I lost my flipper and my dad owned an avocado
mounted and that didn't work. And then I'll show like
and and what was was she talking differently because she
lost that tooth piece, because she really lost the slurry.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
But she said she lost the tooth years ago. That's
what it was also confusing, I lost she lost.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
Her, she lost the flipper recently, she lost the tooth
years ago.
Speaker 4 (27:27):
Okay, oh okay, okay.
Speaker 3 (27:32):
I can't. This is just it's yeah, very much. So
you know, teeth aren't going to come and they're going
to go. But like it's hard to watch. It just is.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
It's very becomes her.
Speaker 4 (27:47):
Love Hotel that she has dark cavern When she took.
Speaker 2 (27:53):
She's like, well, one of the the single one of
the bachelors arrived. He was new, kind of like kind
of like a bombshell if you were in the Love
Island world.
Speaker 3 (28:03):
Yes, translation sure.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
And he's a dentist and they were getting to know
each other just hellos. And in those introductions, she was like,
you're dentist. Well, I've had a lot of dental work
I've had I've had eighteen root canals. And I was
told and she's like, it's almost like she was bragging
about that. Underneath my nerves, I have dark caverns of
(28:28):
death and they're like black holes that lead to another world,
on a universe that scientists are studying.
Speaker 4 (28:37):
It was just like it was so insane, black holes, cavernous.
These were all things she's telling this guy and these
are words sentences.
Speaker 3 (28:46):
Yeah, it's sexy talk, really, it's really.
Speaker 2 (28:54):
Anyway, that ride to Temecula was interesting. So who was sleepover?
Was this in Temecula? Who the hell.
Speaker 4 (29:03):
Hosted camera Tamera? That's why she? And whoa?
Speaker 2 (29:06):
That was tra I see it?
Speaker 1 (29:08):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (29:09):
And then I was like, well, where was Katie? What
team was Was Katie supposed to be on the Tamera trip?
Because obviously she was going to be initially on one
of these sides and she wouldn't have gone to Heathers,
so she would.
Speaker 3 (29:22):
Have with Ca.
Speaker 4 (29:24):
Yeah, definitely, I think.
Speaker 2 (29:26):
So, all right, they go on that motorcycle ride with
the side car and shit, and then what kind.
Speaker 3 (29:35):
Of was that the Tom Tom set up? Is that
the similar sidecar?
Speaker 2 (29:39):
Okay, yes, except there was as Yeah, but there was
an extra person in the back, like they don't the
Tom Tom car. The Tom Tom sidecar motorcycle get up
doesn't have like a second seat, I don't think, or
else I think someone would have been in that. We
would have seen that.
Speaker 4 (29:55):
Yeah, and then Shannon handled it like she's been hanging
out with Archie. You should put your head out and
let it fly all the all the water from your mouth.
Speaker 2 (30:05):
It's because my slipper was gone. The saliva from my
cavernoush dark black hole.
Speaker 3 (30:11):
Is coming out rising.
Speaker 2 (30:14):
And had to show us on her glasses the spit
formations that landed.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
Shannon is unhinged this season truly.
Speaker 2 (30:30):
Yeah, okay, so now we get over to a wine tasting.
This is obviously on this, this is Temecula Wine tasting.
And like we were saying, Tama's like you like me again?
Speaker 3 (30:42):
Oh my gosh, nightmare.
Speaker 2 (30:46):
Isn't that like kind of when you're going through a
haunted house, like and they jump out at you camera,
Do you like me again?
Speaker 4 (30:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (30:56):
It's so pretty third grade? Yeah, yeah, it's really like,
you know, is she mad? Is she like? You know
how you would run around to your friends like is
she mad at me? Like it's just going mad like
and it just is really so plain.
Speaker 4 (31:13):
And I know that, but still giving Shannon the primary
the big room, I like it. It with the whole
thing was just felt like a setup. And also in
the after show, Tamra said on a previous trip she
had put Heather in the dungeon. Remember she put her
in the basement just to get a rise out of Heather. Like,
(31:37):
so Shannon is Tamra is setting people? Yeah, yeah, Tamra
gave Heather that room, and so she's yeah, it's it's
Tamara is admitting to like all these setups to try
and create drama on the after show, Like she admits
the two of them at least, and I was just
like all right, Tamra, so like what was this just?
(31:59):
And Shannon's a mile away, So she's giving you the
primary So there's going to be a fallout because she
did this for you and you Shannon knows.
Speaker 2 (32:07):
That, and thank god it's Shannon realized that. She's like,
I don't I don't want this room. I don't I
don't want it anyone to stay in here. I'm just
stay in the kitchen, try noodle sh my molten blenders.
So then they're at the wine tasting and they're talking
to their bashing Heather for wanting to do comedy kind of,
(32:28):
and then Gina confused.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
You're just confused, like they are, you know, they just
don't they It's it's like, oh, you didn't you know saying, uh,
someone's fluent in Japanese. You had no idea, like.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
For people to be completely involved in the entertainment field
as they are, like they are on a TV show.
They get season after season that most people don't on
regular you know, network television or streaming services. Now that
are actual actors, and so they don't even understand the
craft of acting. That this is so over their head
(33:06):
that they would they cannot even wrap their heads around it.
That's what's so funny. So Gina is like, uh, well,
Jane is still mean about that fetty photo. So now,
and this is a conversation that they had aside, right,
And Taraa's like, I never said a fatty photto And
then Gina's like, well there's the weighty they're brazy.
Speaker 4 (33:30):
I'm pretty sure that's the way Tama presented it too. Yeah,
when they were laying down in that at Tamra's like
looking through Tamra's I think she brought Wade into it.
I'm pretty sure she did.
Speaker 3 (33:41):
I am too.
Speaker 4 (33:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (33:43):
If it wasn't said implicitly, it was implied.
Speaker 2 (33:47):
It was absolutely implied. Everything was implied that she looked bad,
that she that she's heavier. And then when Tarma showed
the picture that Heather was like being more positive about it.
She was trying to not go down that you know,
rabbit hole with like co sign what Tama was doing.
(34:07):
She was like, oh, you know that she's cute. She like, well,
so she got her stuff together, like you know, she
was trying hard. So but Tama's not taking any accountability
for it in that moment, and then kind of does
by the end of it with Jen when they get
to the bottom of it, and she's like, let me
see this picture, and then she shows it to her
and she's like, oh, that's disgusting, Like I look horrible
(34:29):
in that. Why would you know, why would you even
do that? And it's just sad to see somebody. It's
just sad that that that's how we are as women,
that you look at yourself and be like I'm disgusting.
It's like, no, you're not. But and I also it's
crazy and we all know she looks it's normal and cute.
Like she looks different.
Speaker 3 (34:50):
Yes, she's done a lot of work on her body
and working out clearly and done some procedures, but she
looks absolutely fine and regular and like not overweight on
any level on any scale, you know what I mean.
It's just bizarre.
Speaker 4 (35:07):
It is.
Speaker 2 (35:08):
It is the only thing that I could ever rip
on that picture was a peplam top because I've never
liked a peplam and they don't look good on anybody,
you know, And honestly, but those were really popular so
that she didn't have a choice. That was a trend.
She for sure like she did what everybody wants to do,
which as when they have more time in their life
(35:29):
and a little more money, you can start going to
the gym, you can start doing procedures, you know, if
you wanted to do procedures. But she's doing what everybody
wants to do, which is get healthy and look the
best they can.
Speaker 4 (35:41):
Yeah. I mean, I have no problem with Jen confronting
Tamara about it, and I thought everything she said was
right on point. Yeah, I mean I get like, there's
definitely pictures of myself or and I'm sure we've all
had that where it's like, oh my god, untag that immediately,
let me.
Speaker 2 (36:00):
Show you a picture of Emily. I have it right here.
I'm gonna pull it over here.
Speaker 3 (36:03):
Okay, that's all fair, but it is like we are
on a TV show and to go that hard at
a very regular like I would have appreciated if Jen
was like, that's not the best picture of me. Yeah,
I agree, you know what I mean, it's just a
very it's yeah, it's it's a little reckless for everyone.
Like this whole thing bugs me. Everyone calling it a
(36:27):
fatty phot the whole thing. I'm like, god, oh, totally.
There's millions of women watching this, right, I know, I know.
Speaker 4 (36:36):
Well, specially like especially because it's like we just i
think we talked about this too. We just came out
of a season where Emily really confronted Heather about just
the slight passive aggressive comments about her weight and stuff,
and so I'm like, what are we doing right now? Yeah,
we just did this.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
These ladies they're gonna be bobbing and weaving in and
out of this this kind of talk and.
Speaker 4 (37:02):
Out of growth, dodge that girls personal growth.
Speaker 2 (37:10):
Well, I did appreciate that. Tamra was like, it was shitty.
It's shitty, it's shady and shitty, and I'm sorry, it's dirty, disgusting.
I'm sorry. Like, I'm glad that she did admit to that.
Speaker 4 (37:21):
You hit Tamara, you get her. When the sun and
the moon are aligned, you're gonna get a apology.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
Absolutely. That's why we like Tamar because she does, really
she does encapsulate an empathetic and very sorry person. When
she gets there and you believe her and you accept
it and you want to like get back in with her. Yeah,
you really have to keep your wits about you with
her because fast, you know, she's fast, and like you
(37:51):
forget and then you remember and then you're like, that's horrible.
Speaker 3 (37:56):
No accountability and then no accountability, you know.
Speaker 2 (37:58):
It's really that's why Shannon, you know, is like in
this situation that's really tricky. And when oh my god,
you guys, at the very end of this, Tamra is
apologizing to Jen and then Jen is kind of like, well, look,
I don't think this is a new version of me.
I feel like I'm finally myself after forty seven years.
(38:18):
The problem is is that you don't like this version.
And then she totally snaps and she's like, I apologize,
dump blood. It's like whoa, whoaa, whoa. And then that's
what really set Shannon off. And it was really nice
to see Shannon jump in and be like, you know what, Tamra,
you know what she had just could not you don't
take accountability for what you do and then her calling
(38:40):
her out by going, you go so low but it's
you know, but it's okay because that's who you are.
But we don't go that low.
Speaker 3 (38:48):
Now.
Speaker 2 (38:48):
What did you think about Tamra's response, because Tamra said,
but you do it behind people's backs, I do it
to their face, and I thought, ooh, touche. She might
have a point there. What do you think?
Speaker 4 (39:01):
Yeah, no, I mean it's a fair point, and I
think Tamar also does it behind their backs. But I
mean I do, I do appreciate what Tama is saying
there because I think that's probably accurate. I mean, we
don't see it, but I think I mean in terms
of we don't know exactly what she's saying even when
the cameras are off. But like, yeah, I think Emily
(39:23):
is actually really good except for this episode. She's usually
good at saying something and Gina are both good. These
are gals on the show.
Speaker 3 (39:33):
Deanna. I was wondering if you were going to clarify.
I was like, it's you're gonna fill me.
Speaker 1 (39:39):
In or.
Speaker 4 (39:42):
They are both good at saying things to each other
but then also saying things. But this episode, Emily is like,
I don't recall exactly how I talked shit about you other.
Speaker 3 (39:57):
Love. Yeah. I Teather's response on that one. She was like,
very pointedly, and what did you say?
Speaker 2 (40:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (40:07):
That was I don't like Kelly are she totally didn't
get it? But yeah, I would say it seems to
me that Shannon is the is not good at that.
She is not good at repeating things to someone's face
that she has said, either off camera or on camera.
(40:28):
She doesn't have that. Yeah, I think, I mean it
seems that way.
Speaker 2 (40:34):
Yeah, I mean she could be pushed to a point
like this where she's calling someone out for their behavior,
but she really doesn't name call or go low like
most people, like like Tamra does to most people.
Speaker 4 (40:49):
Yeah, Tama is the Tamra. Yes, well has no.
Speaker 2 (40:52):
Filter, right, I mean she's not as bad as Kelly.
Speaker 4 (40:56):
Shannon will do that to a first or second year housewife.
She's awful to new houses.
Speaker 2 (41:02):
It's in a way.
Speaker 3 (41:04):
Yeah, yeah, guys, we haven't discussed the other party. Okay,
are we going in there? We we don't care.
Speaker 4 (41:12):
Let's go. I have to set up three beds.
Speaker 3 (41:15):
We have to Okay, seeing someone get those seeing that
three beds set up. You know, I get very you
know where I stand with Heather, But that was.
Speaker 2 (41:25):
That looked like it looked like I thought I was
watching like keep sweet that Like I don't know, I
felt very strange in my.
Speaker 3 (41:34):
Body, okay, because it's like it really was like a nursery.
I guess at the end of the they were in
like fascinats, like.
Speaker 2 (41:46):
Yes, I was like, are these puppy palaces? Like I
didn't know what we were looking at.
Speaker 3 (41:51):
What was happening. I did, like, did Heather and I
maybe we'll see it? I think she was just saying something. Wait,
she said she had her black cart. Mm hmmm, yeah,
what is she? Was she going to take them shopping
at all? Like truly wondering.
Speaker 4 (42:10):
I don't know, because then they somebody said, oh great,
let's get a burke in a Heather's like Noah's just
that that whole way it was filmed, everything about it
felt like we were in like a like a Heather
immersion theater experience because it was like with the hey, uh, hey,
(42:30):
I'm a paparazzi and so long.
Speaker 2 (42:35):
But I really did did you believe it? Because I
mean I guess I kind of believed it. It was
almost too perfect.
Speaker 4 (42:42):
I believed it. I totally believed it. It was just
like it was just everything's coming up Heather, like I got.
I mean, this is Bruneo Drive is my my stretch
of street.
Speaker 2 (42:53):
I mean this was her sizzle reel to be on
Beverly Hills, like just bly the way.
Speaker 3 (42:58):
I go there. So yet again, good p this could
be us, but you plan like, so why are we not.
Speaker 2 (43:08):
Like the paparazzi walking up to her and knowing her?
Speaker 3 (43:11):
It says it all, knowing the show, knowing the drama,
ying the concern and setting the record straight.
Speaker 2 (43:20):
On the corners.
Speaker 4 (43:20):
It's like, we never see this on Beverly Hills. So
we saw Beverly Hills, which we never see anymore since
Lisa's not like we used to see a lot of that.
Speaker 3 (43:31):
Yes, like that's like Crustaceans, you know. I feel like
I haven't heard of that restaurant in twenty years, you know,
but it is like one of those Beverly Hills staple. Yes, yeah,
that I want to be in right it?
Speaker 4 (43:49):
Did you know what? It felt very two thousands.
Speaker 2 (43:52):
Beverly Hills together, But then you saw the food and
it was impressive. I mean in one hundred and fifty
dollars Japanese wagy beef the tuna cigar, and then Heathers like,
I'm going to go over to the groundlings and just
do some yucca.
Speaker 3 (44:09):
Mums.
Speaker 2 (44:11):
It's just wild.
Speaker 4 (44:12):
You know, this isn't a slumber party. I'm saying, it's
not a slumber party. You guys are barely at the
You need to like hang out together at the in
the beds.
Speaker 3 (44:22):
Oh right down with the paps real quick.
Speaker 2 (44:26):
Yeah, it's still daylight, you know.
Speaker 3 (44:31):
And I think this is relatable on some level. You know,
different people bring different things out in you. But I
do feel like Emily when she's around Heather, she wants
to bring out her most rough, rough and tumble version
of herself, you know, like to get that contrast. Yeah,
she's like wants to like stick it to her, get
(44:52):
the contrast going. You know, she's not going to eat
a caviar cigar. And like in her house when they
were in the living room, living room, and she like
the way she attacked that like sharcuterie board or whatever.
It was like things were falling over. She's like, give
me the way, give me the most expensive. But she's
buying like everything.
Speaker 2 (45:12):
So she really odd couples it up, you know, yeah,
Varian does, she does.
Speaker 3 (45:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:20):
Well.
Speaker 4 (45:20):
I think it's also because Emily is not intimidated by
Heather's wealth, which I think is a non starter for
a lot of the people on the show or maybe
inhabit like it's just like whatever, I'm going to show
you how much I don't give a shit about this.
Speaker 3 (45:35):
Yes, it's either her way of regulating how much she
does give a ship, right, or there's something it's not.
She's not at ease, you know, right right, She's bumping
up against it in a different way than like Gina did.
When Gina was like, you know right back in the day,
(45:56):
Oh yeah, look at me knowing them.
Speaker 2 (46:00):
Script right on the tip of your tongue, my friend
I did.
Speaker 3 (46:04):
But yeah, Emily is doing at it. She's doing a
lot of work around the wealth. It's just in a
different way. I think.
Speaker 2 (46:17):
Yeah, it's like, yeah, go ahead.
Speaker 4 (46:20):
I was just gonna say it's it's you're totally right.
Because also Emily goes so hard in on Heather with
the promo and the gifts and making and like any
when Heather hosts a dinner, like Emily makes her comments
and her and she's just she is always coming for
Heather in that way.
Speaker 2 (46:38):
Yeah, it just might be overcompensating, you know. And also
there's also an entertainment factor where Emily is way more
down to earth, and you do feel that she's relatable.
So in many ways you always need I mean a
lot of the ladies on OSI are kind of relatable,
you know what I mean. But like you do feel
(46:58):
like it's nice to have somebody calling out from inside
of the show how we would feel in a funny way.
So she's leaning into that humor much like for example,
say like when Vicky was on the show and Shannon
and VICKI would be tripping over each other like I
love Lucy, you know, they would just be doing the
physical comedy. And yet again here we are in the
(47:20):
vineyard and Shannon's just like I A A, I get
grapes and I just I mean, it's just it's like
they're always going to be falling, and they kind of
lean into that for the humor of the show. That's
their text.
Speaker 4 (47:32):
I think I think Shannon definitely wiped out accidentally. I
think her boot got stuck on nothing, and I think
she'd ate it. On accident.
Speaker 2 (47:43):
I always think that they there is something legitimately that
physically happens, and they're the gravitational pull is taking them
on the way down. But they push it. They push
it all the way down and over, you know, doesn't
always have to go all the way to the level
the surface of the earth, and that's where it goes.
Speaker 3 (48:06):
Yeah, yeah, the cavernous.
Speaker 2 (48:12):
Yeah. So any who is there anything else we didn't cover?
Speaker 4 (48:16):
Girls? Shannon? I was trying to get a timeline on
that hawk toa thing. I was like, how does Shannon
not know hawk Tua?
Speaker 2 (48:26):
I could see that being out of her I.
Speaker 4 (48:29):
Could absolutely see it. No, it made it made she
doesn't know. Now I'm saying, how.
Speaker 3 (48:36):
I like it? I like it.
Speaker 2 (48:38):
She shouldn't be shouldn't be on her algorithm.
Speaker 3 (48:41):
No, she shouldn't be on everything.
Speaker 4 (48:44):
I'm like, how do we get Shannon's algo? Like, that's
what I want to know. How are you this much
in pop culture?
Speaker 1 (48:51):
Well?
Speaker 4 (48:51):
I can say this.
Speaker 2 (48:52):
When I was scrolling around that time, I kept seeing
this and kept seeing it, and it took me a
long time to finally sit and take it in as
to what it is. But I had to choose to
watch that when honestly I wasn't interested. I didn't it
didn't pique my interest. I really didn't give a shit,
and I was kind of like, I can do But
(49:14):
I did it because I need to know what's going on.
That's why I did it. But if I didn't much
to know what's going on, I wouldn't do it. I
really wouldn't. Like if I didn't have a job in
pop culture, I wouldn't have I wouldn't give two shits.
I wouldn't be hitting on any of that. I would
be on like embroidery threads, you know what I'm saying, Like,
I wouldn't. That would be my algorithm, cat videos and crochet.
(49:38):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (49:39):
Yeah, I think Shannon thinks her algorithm is the photo
section on her iPhone. She's like, look at all this,
look at these that's what you's just scrolling through her
own photos.
Speaker 2 (49:52):
Wow, this one agains Tamra. You're always making things in
Avocado Mountain. Why do you have to make it such
a big deal?
Speaker 3 (50:11):
What a life? What a life?
Speaker 2 (50:13):
Well, okay, lest thoughts less looks less, yes.
Speaker 3 (50:17):
Last looks. We have to give it up. What we
did in the beginning the Shannon's gorgeous testimonial look that
we got blessed with in the beginning of the episode.
She's in like a metallic beautiful dress with the one shoulder,
her hair, she had those earrings that look gorgeous, and
I was just like nice. Emily also gave us yes,
(50:45):
oh my.
Speaker 4 (50:46):
God, no, we're not we are not.
Speaker 1 (50:48):
No.
Speaker 2 (50:49):
She came through and erased history and brought us a
gorgeous look, has.
Speaker 4 (50:56):
A gorgeous look in this episode and also still has
that looks.
Speaker 3 (51:00):
Yes, she has other testimonial looks that we are choosing
to rise above. We are choosing our best self. And
not all housewives make mistakes. And you know what, there's
stylists make mistakes and their glam squad makes mistakes.
Speaker 2 (51:19):
But producers. But you know what, that metallic look is great.
That is obviously one of the trends. Now is this
metallic look? Have you noticed that?
Speaker 4 (51:29):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (51:30):
Within reason, I mean, it definitely seemed like this was
our mid season freshen up with a new look, and
I just was so relieved to see Emily looking beautiful,
you know, hair blown out, gorgeous dress that flattered her Amen. Amen,
(51:52):
thank you, thank you, Jesus yes.
Speaker 2 (51:55):
Yeah, I've been there for you. I've been there for you.
And you said it sucked the life out of you.
Remember that. That was intense. That was And then when
said I bounce back from it is, She's like, it's
been a year and you've not been in my life
and I've never been better without you.
Speaker 4 (52:13):
Wow. Yeah, I kind of like, Shannon, you want that.
That just felt so in the moment that she's and
I know her emotions got the better of her, but
I was just like, well, now now you're gonna have
to apologize for that. When if you would have said,
this is just taking it down three notches, you could
have stood on that and meant it.
Speaker 3 (52:36):
But it was a blow. I mean, what are you
going to do? It's like, well, get out of that
