Speaker 1 (00:05):
Drama Darling. Drama Darling, Drama, Darling.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Welcome in, Darlings, Welcome in. Today is Tuesday, the seventeenth,
and by Golly. I am joined by two ladies, just
bookended by Jamie Moyer and Deanna Chang. Ladies. Welcome, Welcome in, Hi,
thank you.
Speaker 3 (00:43):
To be here.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
We are so excited to talk about Mormon Wives Episode two.
I mean, it's only episode two for us. Meanwhile, the
entire world has already watched all eight. You guys have
probably watched all eight as well. But we are gonna
just you know, we're gonna I dissect it down to
the very last shower baby shower gift, you know, because
(01:06):
this is what we're doing here on Drama Darling. We're
not just going to give you one episode where we
talk about it all. We're going to talk about each one.
Speaker 4 (01:14):
I'm actually holding off. I'm not going to go ahead.
Although it was difficult after this one, I really wanted
to go one more. But that is always the case
when any of us are watching any shows, isn't it.
Remember when back in the day, you'd have to wait
every Sunday to see the promise.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
Deanna, have you gone past episode two?
Speaker 3 (01:34):
I consumed all of it.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
Immediately, immediately upon release like everybody else.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
Yes, I also know. I don't know about you girls,
but you know how as an adult, certain things just
don't You just didn't get the memo on them, like
you weren't taught them. It was for me baseboards have
eluded me as an adult.
Speaker 4 (02:01):
How clean the baseboards in a house is what you're
talking about?
Speaker 3 (02:04):
Yeah, like just how to keep them, keep them right
and tight.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
I I was taught get on your knees and clean
those goddamn baseboards.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
That's listen. I missed the lesson and I sort of
just you know, so I did consume it in its
entirety while I was tackling baseboards.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
Okay, I was gonna say, is there an episode where
they're talking about base because I am listening. I mean,
I didn't expect this because I was like, these girls
are paying attention to their baseboards. I find it hard
to believe. But now we know they're not, but you are,
and that's important.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
I am. And so what was what's good about going back?
Speaker 2 (02:46):
Like?
Speaker 3 (02:47):
I went back and watched too again because yeah, we were
some things that I was down in the baseboards and
I missed so.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
Would be very impressed with you, because clearly Kenya didn't
have the baseboards finished when they went to her house,
and sure wanted to know where her baseboards were.
Speaker 4 (03:07):
A minute, are we taking in metaphors or no? No,
were you really on the ground cleaning the baseboards while
the TV was going, Yes, from room to room and
do the baseboards in every room?
Speaker 3 (03:18):
No, I just blasted my It was the upstairs that
really needed attention, and so I blasted it. And I
was going room to room. Not there's two, there's you know,
two plus two bathrooms. So I was just really getting
in there. I would love it for racers.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Would you know I was doing you powerwash because I
want if you were to powerwash those baseboards next level.
I'm kidding, don't everyone. It's like the p s A.
Do your baseboards. Don't bring your power washer inside. It
will strip the paint just.
Speaker 4 (03:58):
To see and on they're they're not great, but they're okay,
they're okay. But then when I did that, I saw
something black on my on this like this part of
the wall right here, and I went to grab it
and it was a mosquito. So if any of your
watchers noticed me going like this. I awoke the sleeping
(04:22):
I awoke the sleeping mosquito while attempting to look at
my baseboards. And they look pretty good. I mean they're
they're okay. I have never yet scrubbed them. But I've
only lived here for a short amount of time.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
You've got time on your side.
Speaker 4 (04:35):
Oh and I've had I've had a really nice shout
out why Nita's cleaning service. They've come in, and I
bet they've attested, they've they've attended to them, because.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
They absolutely But I'm you woke a sleeping mosquito while
I awoke a sleeping tailor on episode two. Because we
we got into this and let me tell you what,
because we're gonna welcome you into this recap right now, duh.
(05:07):
You know what's interesting is that now we have like
leaped forward in time. I mean, not like a month,
not like as we've seen on how so I have
six weeks later, two months later, you know, we are
talking twelve months after she was arrested for domestic violence.
(05:29):
She is now Purregdane again, after you know, unfortunately losing
her other child with Dakota. She is now planning a
baby shower, and you know, what I think is interesting
about this. I don't know who gave me this information.
It could have been one of you two. But from
what I understand, they filmed a pilot episode of this
(05:51):
and no one wanted to pick it up.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
I did not. I'd never heard this.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
Okay, and this could be all lies, but if it's true,
it would totally make sense on the timeline because why
would they wait twelve months to film again. So apparently
they made this pilot, no one was picking it up,
so probably sat there until Hulu got their little mits
on it, and then they were finally like, Okay, we're
gonna pick it up, go out and shoot. Well that
took a whole dang year, right, so that totally checks out. Yes,
(06:22):
imagine what their base boards look like twelve months later.
Speaker 4 (06:24):
Yeah good? Yeah? Well, and you know what you're triggering
here is the idea that perhaps had Taylor or any
of them known it was going to get picked up,
they might have moved differently in the world.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Well they didn't. They went their separate ways, which makes
so much sense. From the first episode when they were
all getting together. We haven't seen each other since the
Swinging scandal. We haven't seen it right, of course they haven't.
So the show is what brought them together, and the
show is what split them apart. They really aren't good.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
Beautiful, can't believe you guys are.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
A beautiful words you know, beautiful way to organize us
and gathering using you because I needed it.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Wowith Wordsmith. Wow Wow. So now they're coming back together,
and she's got this excuse much like the Housewives, like
I haven't seen them since New York, meaning the reunion,
you know. Well, i'd like to get them back together
for my you know, renaming party. Well, I'd like to
get the mom talkers back together for my baby shower.
(07:27):
I hope they all show up. I haven't really talked
to many of them well, of course, because no one
wants anything to do with you because you were arrested
for domestic violence and you also went on TikTok's talking
about swinging and all those things. So now we have
these two camps. It's Taylor on her own for the
most part, although a lot of people showed up to
her baby shower, which was great, the exception of Whitney,
(07:50):
but we have her in the car with her mom, Liane.
I don't know, it's like l I A n how
would how would you say that? Leanne? But I like lyone,
what do you guys think.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
I would say? Leon?
Speaker 2 (08:15):
So she gets in the car and just not passive aggressively,
but just aggressively shames her right to left up and down,
you know, I mean her mom. She's just like, yeah,
I'm gonna invite everyone to my shower, and you know,
I'm just finishing up my last probation. I'm like, we
(08:35):
haven't seen you, like I just saw you in last episode.
Now you're pregnant about to have a baby, and you're
already finishing up your probation? Do I know you?
Speaker 4 (08:45):
If you don't know me.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Yeah, I will say. Taylor has such main character energy.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
You know, how do you how do you fell about her?
Tell us how you fell?
Speaker 4 (09:00):
Well?
Speaker 2 (09:00):
I felt there was like Fel and Joel.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
There was a crazy word that I needed somebody to
Oh the way they said Easel, did you guys pick
up on that was like like he was like put
it on the Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
They the way they do their eye like their l's
what if there's an L like jail or feel it's
like Joe fell tell like they don't it's it reminds
me of Whitney, you know, Salt Lake City. When I
was learning your impression, I'd be like, I feel like, well,
(09:37):
here's the thing. They all talk like that. Now we
know how they all talk. Now we know okay, but
carry on DMN.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
So I I it's it's fascinating because Taylor, there's certain
people who move through the world and nothing sticks on
them because they are main characters.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
And supper handcuffs, you know.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
But but wow, how to bounce back and to keep it pushing,
you know. And I just love the way she manages
her parents. P ask, guys, are all the parents younger
than us?
Speaker 4 (10:13):
Thank you God. I wanted to ask that, why does
the dad look like someone I went to high school with.
I'm like, oh she was, he was? I think.
Speaker 3 (10:22):
I was like, they're all our age, and I go,
they might all be younger than us.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
One hundred younger than us. There's no question about it.
Speaker 4 (10:29):
No, we're talking about parents, about all the Taylor's parents. Yeah, Taylor,
you are way away.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
I think they're a good five. I think they got five.
I think they're in there. I think they're like in
their early to mid forties.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
Can we find exact I'm looking it up, right.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
I know it was something I didn't want to bring
up because I knew it.
Speaker 4 (10:56):
Dad looks like bred Durst. He's like, come, my lady,
come come. I'm like, oh my god.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
Are you watching it?
Speaker 4 (11:07):
My cookies and my tea? I've got to watch my
Mormon program.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
I'm not finding it on a simple Google search because
she's not famous enough, you know what I mean, Like
she should be, but it's not popping up and I'm
gonna have to do a deeper dive. So and you know,
I'm not going to pause it for that. But I
think we can assume that they are probably in their
early forties and I'm not at that point. So that
being sad, I.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
Would say, all right, my guess is yeah, forty six
and forty four. Write it down, Amy, put this in
your in your books in case you find it out.
I say, I say, Dad, forty six, Mom forty four. Now,
I mean personally, I'm thirty nine, so they're a little
older than me. Okay, yeah, I'll and I will remain
(11:50):
at thirty nine till the end of my days when
I die at the ripe old age of thirty nine.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
I honestly think they're like, I think the mom is
like thirty nine, and I think the dad is like
forty two.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
I really do write it down.
Speaker 3 (12:05):
Hold on, let me gather myself and all.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
I'll keep talking on the boards here, I'll keep talking
in the meantime.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
We're talking about Taylor's parents alone.
Speaker 4 (12:14):
I think Lyon and fred Durst.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
I think Taylor's ing on Lyon. That's goodlying.
Speaker 3 (12:24):
I think she's forty four, which.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
Maybe Jamie's that's what Jamie said, okay.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
And I think fred Durst is forty three.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
Okay, all right, let's set the the numbers. The numbers
are up now. When Taylor says in her confessional, she's like,
I was filmed leaving the Jill and it woke me up.
And then and then she also says that she's like
sabotaging her relationship with Dakota because she doesn't full like
(12:56):
she deserves this happy ending, which is so relatable to
a lot of people. Jamie doesn't believe it, but you know,
I mean, don't you feel like that's relatable, like you
sabotage something.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
No, that's fine. I want to go back to the
first thing she said was I didn't realize until I
was filmed leaving the jail, and that's when I woke up. Bitch,
you didn't wake up after the arrest. You're you're attaching
it to being filmed while leaving the jail. That's when
you woke up. I mean, that's what I take to task.
I barely heard what you said after that because I
was so right right by that idea.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
I don't know. Is it because she saw video footage
of herself? Is that what she means that she saw
herself the video for coming out of Joel?
Speaker 4 (13:39):
That's what I think that means. But it's like, Okay,
what woke you up about the waking up in jail part?
Don't wake you up?
Speaker 3 (13:48):
Right right? Sleepy?
Speaker 2 (13:50):
She was sleepy, you guys. I have to mention that
last week when I did this recap, there was a
whole thing, Deanna, where you were discussing Dakota the domestic
violence call, and so we were very much like, if
she was going to get arrested, he should have too,
and we went in hard on that. Okay, Okay, Now,
(14:13):
since then, I have learned from the tabloids that allegedly
one of those chairs that Taylor threw hit or came
close to hitting Dakota's young.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
Daughter nor her young daughter. No his wait thought this
was his. He doesn't have any kids yet. This is
his first, her daughter with Because I saw a picture.
It's a cut, I'm sorry. Okay, okay, okay, it's her daughter.
I mean if it's not, that's bonkers because it's like
her little face.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
I think it's her daughter, Okay, okay, Oh wow, okay.
So yeah, and I so that definitely changes GOO say
she did. Oh my god, so it really did hit her,
oh lord.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
And I think he filmed it or the aftermath. So
I think that's where the cops that's why he didn't know.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
They didn't mention anything about that, and that was very
deceiving for us as viewers to understand what was going on.
And it also wasn't mentioned on the show, which I
suppose I can understand. I mean, I certainly wouldn't want
that on there. But that is really horrific, horrific.
Speaker 4 (15:29):
It was a bad, bad night for the old Taylor family.
That's a rough stuff.
Speaker 2 (15:35):
So I just wanted to mention that. Now while we
get Leon and Taylor in the car and her mom's like, well,
you shouldn't have even been in that situation. I mean,
she's just like I know, Lyon, you can't go back
and change time.
Speaker 4 (15:50):
Stop, Ryan, you got to calm down. You're being so
like told you so and that energy. We understand it.
You've already said it. We're in this situation where now
I did, like towards the end of the episode, she
was clear to say, we're very happy to welcome a baby.
We love baby. So she really wanted to like make
that clear on camera. So I get that Leyon, and
(16:13):
I also understand why Leyon is upset. I don't know
if this is the time to bring this up. But
I don't like that Dakota either.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
I Oh, neither do I. I don't trust him for
one second. And I think Michayla is dead on. Thank
god she's spoken to it, because she's the only voice
that we can like, I trust Michaela just like with
my life.
Speaker 4 (16:34):
That's why I put her in my will, just.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Like I trust all of these Mount talkers. I trust
them with everything in me.
Speaker 4 (16:42):
Everyone you're off the whill. They all go to Michayla.
There's never been a nicer friend until that. Wait, while
we're getting ahead of ourselves, but I bringing that shit
up at the table the baby shower was I thought,
very bitchy.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
Which part wait when what who brought what up?
Speaker 4 (16:59):
At the baby shower? Mackayl was like and he was
texting her, inglet like at the baby.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
Yeah, like Taylor. I mean, I couldn't quite make it out.
But while they were discussing where the f is Whitney
plus he's a pos and like they were like the
right off right to the side of them, I'm like, wow,
we're really having these conversations so close to the main.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
They're willing to take risks by the way, I said, MICHAELA,
it's actually Macy, So I apologize it's Macy.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
That everyone's names are spelled like strangely, I just accepted,
like it was spelled Macey what she says it's called
you know.
Speaker 4 (17:46):
But yeah, I didn't catch it. I got to print
the picture out and put it on my wall where
I do my beautiful mind the drawings and string theory.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
Yeah, but yeah, it was shaming her, you know, like yeah,
texting she's like, yeah, I looked over her shoulder and boom,
I saw it. This guy cannot be trusted. And you
know what was interesting is Dakota. I'm sorry, not Dakota Taylor.
At one point she was breaking up with him, and
then she got pregnant, so now they're really in it
to win it, and now he's like, I mean.
Speaker 3 (18:16):
She definitely oh well, we're only on episode two, but
I don't she as the series progresses, like she basically
is constantly one foot out the door, like beyond.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
One baby bomb out the door, because there's gonna be
several baby bombs throughout the series.
Speaker 4 (18:33):
When he when he when he shows up, when he
goes like hey and he jumped in like that, it
was so triggering to me of like smarmy guys that
I can't stand and have. Yeah, I had some interactions
with of a certain variety and then showing up with
like seven boxes, and I loved when freend Durs was
like he had no furniture, just a box of dirty laundry.
(18:55):
I'm like, who, yes, you have it. The nail on
the head.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
Now why did how did we go from like you know,
Taylor's like, yeah, he's moving in up, that's him right now,
you know, to her parents being like the dad fred
Durs looked like, I mean he was gonna get a
shotgun out and just like not let him even enter
the premises, premises it, and.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
Then to try yeah, oh no go ahead, no go
go go go.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
Well, I was just gonna say, they they they pivoted
so quickly from you know, obviously pooh pooing him, moving in,
shaming her, being like you should never be in the
situation and all this stuff to ha, you just move
in with chicks? Is that what you do? Office? Bump
elbow bump, buddy, you know what I mean? Like it
(19:43):
seemed I was like, this is a reenactment if I've
ever seen one. It's just a reenactment to me. But
I don't typically like to I don't always pull down
that curtain. But they seem to kind of like him
a lot more than what they are leading us on
to believe. I could be wrong, But what were you
(20:03):
going to say about the no?
Speaker 3 (20:05):
I mean in the same realm the parents to me
in the car, the hole I am in the car
every time we're with them. The subtext is we have
to say these things so the community at large knows
that we are attempting to hold the Mormon line. You know,
(20:29):
That's always what I'm feeling from them.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
Yeah, one hundred, one hundred, and I appreciate that to
a certain level, without the passive and also aggressive you know,
shaming about it, like I don't know, I guess you
could hit it a little more in the head, like, well,
you know that in the Mormon short Church we believe this.
(20:52):
But despite that, I will support you. Although I guess
maybe she's doing a pretty good job of that, if
that's what her whole m O is. I don't know.
Speaker 4 (21:01):
It didn't occur to me, but I think you're absolutely right, Deanna. Yes,
absolutely she She is trying to get some stuff on
the boards, you know. And and uh, you know, I
think that that Taylor is has embarrassed her family. They're
a little embarrassed, you know.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
I mean I'm embarrassed. You know.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
It's not nothing she did, you know, do a lot.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
Yeah, I feel I feel for Taylor. I prefer I
think she's I like her, you know, I think that. Yeah,
I like her too, But I think she's, you know,
got a little bit of a flaky pastry, you know,
cruss going on. There's a little bit flaky.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
Flaky painstry. So we we get into the other girls. Now,
the other girls are getting together because I mean, look,
you guys, mom talk it needs to change, and like
we need to get back to what mom talk was,
you know, we need to change the culture of mom
talk because the Swingers scandal, you know, that got a
lot of publicity, which was really good, but ever since
(22:04):
the arrest, it has been the complete opposite, and brand
dolls have gone down. And I think we all have
got to get to together and j'all and not go
to Jill and do these bron dolls. And so what
do you think about sex toys?
Speaker 4 (22:27):
Yeah, a box of sex toys at a Mormon lady party.
You know, I think that we're getting a hint of
the future episodes where I think it's gonna be good
because they're breaking off into two groups and I need
so I can understand who's who. Yes, but like that
box and sex toys And then everyone been like I
(22:47):
never and I'm just.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
Truly you guys, And I mean I was like when
they were Whitney was like, oh yeah, I'm getting offered,
and she's like doing all these signs of how instead
of just saying it out where, and they're like playing
charades with the numbers and like two hundred thousand and
she's like, well that's backfired, no twenty yeah, oh.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
Well that's this is her, She's this is the beginning
of us watching her attempt a coop for the lead position. Yeah,
and that moment there is why she can't land the coupe.
Speaker 4 (23:28):
Diana, you are speaking such truth today. You have got.
Speaker 2 (23:34):

need a lot more than that. Let me tell you what, ladies,

people say something. I have been thinking about getting a

lives of Mormon wives. But you know what was interesting
about them talking about the whole like there was such
an arc about the sex toys ad funny arc with
Whitney going and talking to her mom about it, and
it really is an interesting thing seeing how some of
(31:35):
them would totally do it, some would absolutely not because
all she has to do is take a picture with
it now. She goes to her mom and is like,
are you okay with us? And her mom's like, hold on,
let me put the cast role in and take your
breath them. I think that is. I thought the mom
handled it very well. I thought she was very demure.
(31:55):
I thought she was Yeah, I mean, look any mody
of any it's she's mom in it up, you know
what I mean. And she's on camera and she's like
grown up Mormon. I thought that she really did a
good job. And I thought she was sweet, and yeah,
she did. She was really really cute. And I also
liked that Whitney felt comfortable enough to come to her
and talk about this openly and she's like, well, I'm
(32:17):
going to do me and that's you know, that's what
I'm doing, just putting it on the map.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
Yes, and the younger daughter being there too, right like
that was a generational vibe right in my tail.
Speaker 3 (32:29):
Yeah, we were trying to kind of do a gotcha
with the mom, but mom handled herself, so she did.
Speaker 4 (32:37):
You know. I think they had a really honest with them.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
Ahead take a lesson from yeah, right, go ahead, James.
Speaker 4 (32:47):
I was just going to say that I thought that
that mom whatever her name is, Whitney mom was was
really authentic. And I thought that was a really interesting
moment between Whitney and her where she's like, you never
told me, you never I didn't know what the hell
and and I was just watching them with the younger
daughter and I was thinking, I bet she will rectify
(33:08):
that with this daughter. And then she said, you know,
I should have said to you, do you have any questions?
I never said that. And then although Whitney was like
our first night was a horror show, I'm like, well,
I mean, people figure it out, but I mean, you know,
you must know some things.
Speaker 5 (33:24):
You know.
Speaker 2 (33:25):
I also thought that it does you don't have to
be Mormon to have that experience, and I did think
it was probably very relatable, and with Leila saying she
had never had an orgasm before, you know, this is
where I think female empowerment and them changing the game
and the mom talk world is actually speaking a good message,
which yes, and I really did like the story between
(33:48):
her telling her mom like I wish you would have
told me, and you know, and that's a thing like
generational stuff. It's I don't even remember my mom really
saying that much either. So it's like I said, it's parents.
You're right, so it's not just a Mormon thing.
Speaker 3 (34:03):
No, I do think it is unique for the first
time you're having sex, is your wedding night being a disaster?
Is unique to religious background, Like that's not most people.
Most people like have had sex with their soon to
be But Debby, did your parents have a talk with you?
Speaker 4 (34:24):
Jamie? Yes, and it was hilarious as you could probably imagine.
I just wanted really quick before I forget it because
my train of thought is crap. But you're right, Deanna,
I think that it's only unique to religion, but all
the religions. So it's like my friends, yeah, yeah, they
didn't know. And my mom when she gave me the talk,
and I recently brought this up to her and she
(34:45):
was like, I don't remember this. She was like in
a bad mood and she said it to me in
a pissed way, and it was absolutely hilarious. She's like,
I gotta have set be like this. Like she was
just kind of like a in a My mom is
literally the.
Speaker 2 (35:01):
Nice so wetest.
Speaker 4 (35:04):
Chair up. Yeah, she had a little chair, but she
was like in a bathroom. She was just like, here's
like she was just kind of in that moment and
it would be so funny. And I remember I already
kind of had known anyway, because I was very exposed
to a.
Speaker 2 (35:21):
Lot of theater and straight sex talk.
Speaker 4 (35:24):
Yeah yeah, like a lot of shit. But yeah, but
it was more like she was just like trying to
like in the mood, and then she just I guess
she just thought, you know what, I might as well
just drop the bomb on what this is. And it
was really funny.
Speaker 2 (35:35):
That is so hilarious and I would actually love to
see that in a movie reenacted, you know.
Speaker 4 (35:40):
Yeah, it was very funny. People have said we should
do a movie my mom and it would be like
Postcards from the Edge.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
Like yeah, oh yeah, I've been trying. Yes, I wanted
to write years greenplay. So yeah, I absolutely thought that
was a great scene, really really interesting. The brand conversation
was great to hear how the brand deals went down,
and and then we kind of really get a little
bit more into Jen Affleck. We've been now she's explained
(36:10):
to us she is, in fact Ben Afflex, you know, cousin,
because her husband is Ben Affleck's cousin. She's never met
him and she though she wouldn't do a sex toys
commercial or ad, she apparently is the porn star of
the group according to all of them.
Speaker 4 (36:27):
Yeah, what the hell are they talking about?
Speaker 2 (36:29):
I don't know, but we saw the pictures of that
other gal who I don't even know, Demi maybe was it.
Demi was showing us pictures and they were all like, whoa,
so you know that's diaper brand too.
Speaker 3 (36:45):
You're in for something with Jen and her husband Ben
Affleck's second cousin because he, I think, why, I'm okay
with what's Taylor's guy's.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
Name, Dakota Coda.
Speaker 3 (37:01):
I'm almost okay with Dakota because of how disturbed I
am Byela.
Speaker 2 (37:08):
WHOA.
Speaker 4 (37:12):
Wow. Yeah, that's a good that's a good foreshadowing tea
for us.
Speaker 3 (37:17):
It's a lot, it's a lot.
Speaker 2 (37:20):
It's coming okay for us. Hm hmm okay. Well, it's
weird because we haven't seen any of other any other
husbands except for Dakota, which I mean is not a husband,
but like, we haven't seen any other partners.
Speaker 4 (37:33):
Yeah, we haven's hair dying weirdo Whitney Whitney right, all
the different hair hair.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
And I forget there was such a huge part, like
the old Tinder thing, like we haven't seen.
Speaker 4 (37:49):
Any episode in a different disguise.
Speaker 2 (37:53):
I mean obviously because he's been living a second life.
Speaker 3 (37:57):
He needs it. Yeah, me sent on our thread. It
was really important to see it organized in that fashion.
But all of his looks laid out in an Instagram
and I was like, yeah, I actually really needed that
because these were slipping past me.
Speaker 4 (38:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (38:14):
It was like the TikTok was like and another one
and another one. Like the background was really fun. Okay,
so here nor there.
Speaker 4 (38:26):
I've written out a phonetic way to say, uh, what
we would call Demi Moore. She's deem me.
Speaker 2 (38:33):
She's Demi dem Me.
Speaker 4 (38:36):
I wrote, like, I deem you the Queen of England
me deem it me.
Speaker 2 (38:43):
I can't, I won't.
Speaker 4 (38:45):
They're lucky if we even get their names. There's so
many of them.
Speaker 2 (38:49):
They have, like they've got a lot of nerve to even.
Speaker 3 (38:52):
As you know what I mean, Like don't don't.
Speaker 2 (38:57):
You want us to say it like that and spell
it like that?
Speaker 4 (39:02):
The spell it like that? Mormon parents. Yeah, these Mormon
parents were getting pretty uh creative with their names. Okay,
all these women and by the way, Episode two rolls
out two new women? Is every episode going to roll
out new women? Because I can't remember the one Give
Me five Housewives, New Jersey episode season two. This is
(39:23):
a lot of bitches.
Speaker 2 (39:24):
Who would we get I don't even know who you're
talking about. Do we get new people?
Speaker 4 (39:28):
I think that was the rollout of Laila and jen Affleck,
wasn't it.
Speaker 2 (39:33):
Oh but we did see them at the parties. I
mean we saw them at the other mom talks. We
just didn't talk to him.
Speaker 4 (39:40):
There were so many they were there.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
Yeah, you're right, we just didn't get their stories. I
see what you mean. You're right, You're right.
Speaker 4 (39:46):
They were in the background, just another sea of highlighted
brown blonde. I don't know, I just brown blonde.
Speaker 2 (39:53):
Yes. When when Demi's like, oh yeah, I'm so now,
I'm just I'm laughing at it now. I'm just laughing
at right.
Speaker 3 (40:06):
Okay, you're you're I think you're caving, is what I think.
Speaker 2 (40:09):
Okay, I'm in it. When Demi was like, oh yeah,
I'm really sexual. And then but I'm so conservative, I'm
like you gals, like if I were Mormon, if I
was full on Mormon, I would be so mad at
dragging my religion all over their mom talk and their
little asses shaking. I'd be like, put some respect on
(40:30):
my religion and don't associate me with it, you know,
and say you're a conservative. I would be one of
those like really pissed off Mormons right now, because I'd
be like, I'm doing it right, They're not, how dare they?
I know? I would, you, guys, I would. I'm sorry,
I would be that bitch.
Speaker 4 (40:44):
I would gay though you wouldn't even be privy to
this information. You wouldn't even know what TikTok was if
you were that Oh you know, so you have to
think about that, probably know about it.
Speaker 5 (40:59):
Maybe not well anyway, if I havelf like hopped up
on a big thing of soda and march over to
one of their top sessions and just give them a
piece of your mind, yeah, they.
Speaker 1 (41:12):
Don't turn it in, but.
Speaker 2 (41:16):
It is so funny to me. The irony of being like,
I'm so conservative and my religion and I will not
do a commercial for sex toys, but like shaking their
ass all over for the world to see, is like
the most sweet irony and I have to love it,
Like that's what I love about it. Is kind of
(41:38):
like the hypocrisy of it. I mean, that's what I
think is fun to watch.
Speaker 4 (41:42):
That they don't cuss, but they're like, I'm like, I
don't do that.
Speaker 2 (41:47):
Right, I don't do that. That is strategy. Okay, So
we are talking about the baby shower, Macey and Taylor
get together and Macy's like, I hate Dakota. You know,
he's trash. He's not treating you well. And she's like, yeah,
well it's too late. I'm pregnant. And he called you
(42:09):
a slut, and we get that whole thing. Macey doesn't
trust him, and Taylor's like, well, we're both toxic, but
we're better now. Meanwhile, Dakota is obviously doesn't like Macy
because he knows that she's the one that has his number,
so he's trashing her to Taylor. And then we go
(42:32):
to the salt room with Whitney and Layla and the kids,
and Whitney's like, you know, mom talk needs to take
you know, a step, you know, step in front of
Taylor and like, I'm not supporting it. I don't know her, Like,
we were never friends, we don't have a friendship. I
don't even know what mom talk is. But we need
to change it. And I'm not gonna have anything to
(42:54):
do with this divorce and the arrest. I'm I'm fine
with my husband like cheating on me and like doing
all this stuff. That's not a bad name for mom talk.
But like a divorce and arrest.
Speaker 4 (43:06):
Is booth his thoughts thoughts boof. But one thought I
have is at that dinner when Dakoto's like, she doesn't
even like our pictures, I'm like, shut that hell up,
shut up. That is so dumb. I hate that. I
hate when guys are like so petty with their women too.
I'm like, just there's so many guys we know amy
(43:28):
that would be like what they don't even know at you.
Speaker 2 (43:31):
Like on a picture. Wow, that a guy would care
about that is crazy fucking that.
Speaker 4 (43:36):
Yeah, yeah, you're clocking exactly. And it's like it's like
he's just he knows she doesn't like him. Well, why
not take the high road. I understand she doesn't like me.
I'm gonna do my best to show her that I'm
serious about you, Taylor, and I'm serious about our baby.
Oh oh, and even if he had done that, like
like hello, you're also on camera, you could try to
take the it's called the high Road. Yeah, and he's
(43:57):
like so down in the dirt with I'm like, you gross.
Speaker 3 (44:02):
But she checks him though, which which is why I
like Taylor, because she's like, well, she's who I can fight,
and he's like, but she's the only person who fight
and she's like, yep, she did stand up to him.
Speaker 4 (44:14):
Yeah, oh yeah, that's exactly it.
Speaker 2 (44:17):
Yeah. I was happy to see that. That was good.
I just don't want her to get, you know, steamrolled
by this guy. Now, let me ask you this, since
you've seen all the episodes, Deanna, okay that is, And
I'm not going to ask for a spoiler. I just
want to know. Well, I mean, I guess this would
be a spoiler, but okay, I saw a like you know,
the trailer.
Speaker 3 (44:35):
Remember that I was doing a lot of baseboards bats
as I watched.
Speaker 2 (44:41):
I'll take that in consideration, So maybe you wouldn't have seen.
But is it the same? Is it Dakota with her
the whole time? There's no new guy that Dakota has
in her life?
Speaker 3 (44:51):
Later, is there that Taylor hasn't in her life?
Speaker 2 (44:54):
Sorry that Taylor has, Yeah, but that Dakota.
Speaker 3 (44:57):
Has another time met anyone else No, okay, fact, well
this gets way past things. But supplemental mom to talk
Mormon Housewives content. They all did the Nick Vile podcast
and then Taylor also did her own, and in that
(45:20):
way they're still together.
Speaker 2 (45:23):
Wow is that no? No? I mean everyone is watching
think they're going to be together for a while.
Speaker 4 (45:30):
When you kill the baby is born, and probably when
the baby's like too, he'll hit break.
Speaker 2 (45:34):
Isn't the baby born? Now? It has to be right.
Speaker 4 (45:38):
I don't understand the time the baby is born.
Speaker 3 (45:41):
Baby is born, yes, but you'll see there's.
Speaker 4 (45:44):
Two years old.
Speaker 2 (45:45):
I doubt I understand that time.
Speaker 4 (45:50):
Two years old, he'll be out of there, maybe three.
Speaker 2 (45:52):
They're gonna start shooting season two when the baby's twelve.
Twelve years later. Yeah, he kicks it up. The reason
why why I.
Speaker 3 (46:04):
Feel like Dakota is going to be Okay, now I'm tripping,
but I know that I don't see myself but not
even not just like I don't know. I'm I think
she almost has so many guards up right now that like,
I don't think he has another path but to kind
(46:26):
of like. But but then again, he called her a
fing slot, so you know that's terrible, and he was.
Speaker 4 (46:34):
Or something right? Wasn't he was?
Speaker 2 (46:36):
I'm not sure what it was.
Speaker 3 (46:39):
Yeah, listen, I'm rooting for him, and that's probably wrong,
you know.
Speaker 4 (46:45):
Well, no, it could be right. Maybe it is, like
maybe he maybe he. I mean, this is a television show.
Perhaps they haven't rolled him out in the best light.
I think that's possible. And even sitting there at the
table with her, one thing he was dead on about
is when he said about Macy m A y C
I H I c C I Macy. What he said
(47:08):
about her being a little bit shady absolutely comes to
fruition at the baby shower when she's laying out all
of Taylor's tea and a table set in support of
the baby of these people, and she had the doll.
I thought that was a very shady thank you.
Speaker 3 (47:30):
Yeah, absolutely shady.
Speaker 2 (47:34):
Yes, yes, I loved it, totally shady.
Speaker 4 (47:40):
Well.
Speaker 2 (47:40):
I when I saw like the trailer for What's to come,
Dakota doesn't look like Dakota to me. So that's why
I was like, is that a different person? Because I
can't I don't know what's happening, Okay, So that's why
I wanted to ask that. So after we leave the room,
(48:00):
we understand, and Layla's the only person and she's gonna
be the messenger, which is that Whitney is done with
Taylor and is not going to come to the baby shower. So,
and it is interesting to see and note that Taylor
is like I, she's making an effort to come back
to the church to like do things right. So she's
having this baby shower. She's trying to redeem herself. She's
(48:21):
distance herself from all her friends since they didn't pick up.
No one picked up a show yet, but she's not
sure it was going to be there for her. But
everyone pretty much shows up and except for Whitney, and
Layla is like, yeah, Whitney's not coming. Taylor is surprised,
and then Lyon goes and fucking picks up the phone
(48:43):
and calls Whitney.
Speaker 4 (48:46):
Might I speak on this? Oh? I got pleased when
a mom get involved. My mom could have cared less
what the fuck I was doing. That is insane. I
cannot imagine my mom calling up, even as a teenager,
one of my friends and being like, you've really upset you.
My mom was she was a working mom, she was
busy like that seems so and now she's older. Taylor
(49:10):
is older, she's pregnant. Why aren't you here? I thought
that was a little bit.
Speaker 2 (49:14):
Far, like on, oh my god, so far, which makes
me think that she's thirty five years old.
Speaker 3 (49:18):
Like you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (49:19):
That's why I'm like, she's so young. She's in the
common we know, she's in the comments section of her
daughter's tiktoks. I'm surprised she didn't call and say, Whitney,
this is mom Talk calling. You were needed here. I
mean that actually might have gotten her there if mom
Talk was calling. But I actually kind of love that
Whitney answered the phone like.
Speaker 4 (49:36):
Oh I didn't like that. Disrespectful?
Speaker 2 (49:40):
Well it was disrespectful, but I mean it was but
like your mom is calling and she's like, what's up?
Speaker 3 (49:47):
And actually thought I didn't.
Speaker 2 (49:48):
You didn't like it?
Speaker 3 (49:50):
Well, only because it's like I can't imagine giving, you know,
attitude to someone's mom. Attitude to someone's mom. It just
is again, there all only five years apart, so it
does you know, right right?
Speaker 4 (50:04):
I did not like that she she was a bitch
on the phone. I think that's between me and Taylor.
I'm like, oh, dare you now if the mom called
me I'd be like hello, like what the hell, Yeah,
where are you? And I'd be like, you know what
I have to tell you. Leon. You know, I've always
respected you. I like you very much, But Taylor and
(50:25):
I are going through something and we probably just need
to deal with it on our own, Like there's a way,
there's a way to say it with less freaking attitude.
Speaker 3 (50:33):
Well, do we think that the mom Leyon was, you know,
sensing that Whitney was trying to stage a coup and
that's why she is rolling up, you know, like it's
really not about the shower, it's about the power positions.
And she's like, I smell a coup.
Speaker 2 (50:54):
Which dance moms vibes. Actually, if we can get some
of the moms up in this place, like Lianne and
let's have them have drinks, yeah, well j and get
them plotted because I love Whitney's mom, Like, yeah, nice lady.
(51:15):
She's gonna If it's Whitney versus Whitney's mom versus Lyon,
you know, Whitney's mom's gonna win because she's gonna handle
it with a little more cuteness demuureness. Yeah, but I
kind of want to see you know lyon get her
hands dirty. And this is what she showed us. She's
she showed us that she's capable of getting her hands
dirty by showing up in the comments, calling up the
(51:38):
you know, the enemy.
Speaker 4 (51:39):
Popping off on our daughter on public television show. Also,
you know, like she's popping off on Taylor on TV.
She's not giving it the family and the family vaults.
Can I go back a second to that salt room.
I don't think it's for kids. That's not for kids.
It's not a playground. I don't want your kid pissed
(52:00):
and in my salt sanctuary. And the little boy was
pressing all those buttons and he turned on the heater.
Did y'all see that?
Speaker 2 (52:08):
Yeah, they were running up, and I thought, you know there,
here's the other thing. Obviously the kids handled it well,
but you can get like salt overload in your system
very easily if you're soaking in it, you know what
I'm saying. So maybe if they're but still immersing your
(52:28):
child in a room like that, I mean, obviously it
must be okay because the people let them in. But
I was a little concerned about that. And also, like
you said, it's not a playground. You know you don't
want to go in there after some snotty kid has
been rummaging their fingers through the salt, and then you.
Speaker 4 (52:47):
Toys not right building. They might have broken the rules
for her because they thought they were getting a light
shout out or something, but it's like, this is not
for kids. You're trying to double down down on a
shit talking session and do a play date with your
kids to play. I did not like that.
Speaker 2 (53:07):
I don't think it was a shout out for the
place because she said, oh, whenever they're starting to get sick,
I bring him here. I'm like, oh my god, put
them in an epsom salt bath, Like, don't bring him
to a public anyway.
Speaker 3 (53:20):
I've never heard of these things before. Like a salt
room is brand new news.
Speaker 2 (53:25):
It was on Housewives last season at I think it
was the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. I think
they went to a salt room there. Yeah, one of them.
I'm trying to think it was them, or it could
have been Potomac as well. I couldn't remember. Somebody went
into a room like that.
Speaker 3 (53:44):
Really, and your the deal is you just sit in it.
That's the whole thing.
Speaker 4 (53:48):
Yeah, I think I've been in one. I feel like
I really a spa or something, or like one of
these mudbath things. I feel like I've been in a
room like that, filled with salt and like pink salt
in a salt A little salt stump somewhere in a room.
Speaker 2 (54:03):
I've been there, that salt stump, salt stump.
Speaker 4 (54:09):
There's something else I wrote down, and that's why I
have to mention it. It's very important. Whitney said this,
and it is one of the most disgusting phrases I've
ever heard uttered on reality television. I'm not going to
kiss her ass and lick her pee. Do not anyone
(54:29):
hear that? Where he said, I'm not it's her ass. No,
maybe in that room or maybe a little bit later.
It's towards the end of.
Speaker 2 (54:41):
The front of her kids.
Speaker 4 (54:45):
And they're like peepe. It was towards the end of
the episode and Whitney said about Taylor, I'm not going
to kiss her ass and lick her peek her ass.
I understand her pee. What is that? That's the grossest
thing I've ever heard uttered.
Speaker 3 (55:03):
On her vagina right, not her you'reine.
Speaker 2 (55:08):
She said, p p e oh oh. I think she
means pussy.
Speaker 4 (55:13):
Oh, oh, you mean like pussy.
Speaker 3 (55:15):
Maybe, yeah, well I didn't know.
Speaker 4 (55:17):
Until okay, maybe better. That is better. Actually, I think.
Speaker 2 (55:21):
We've I think we like crunch numbers. But like, if
she's gonna say ass, she might as well say pussy,
which is throwing you, throwing us off, because like, if
you're gonna say it, say it, why would you just sits.
Speaker 4 (55:32):
Her ass and lick her pe? Okay, maybe so, but
p and P I wrote p ee and it amongst me.
Speaker 2 (55:42):
So well, all right, only one way to solve it.
Let's go put this the captions up and let them
tell us.
Speaker 4 (55:50):
It's a great idea. I might have to go back
and check that and see if if the cap Yeah.
Speaker 2 (55:55):
It's like I always seven, by the way, asterisk dollar sign.
Speaker 4 (56:00):
Uh thanks y'all. That was maybe I was maybe I
was having a little ding moment, but I was like,
lick her pee, beauty.
Speaker 3 (56:11):
But I think she I think that what you are
feeling is she is nasty, Like there is something about
her that is nasty.
Speaker 2 (56:21):
Yeah, nasty. She's a little bit nasty. Yeah, now, and
not in a good way.
Speaker 3 (56:29):
No, it's not fun.
Speaker 2 (56:30):
It's not fun a love island way.
Speaker 4 (56:33):
I guess the reference.
Speaker 2 (56:35):
Jamie finally finished Love Island. You guys, she was binging
it for like eight weeks.
Speaker 3 (56:40):
It's hilarious, hilarious. It took her so long to get
through so many episodes. There's one million episodes, and you
were doing it alone.
Speaker 2 (56:52):
Which fell isolating. Yeah, thank god we were there in
the chat for you.
Speaker 4 (56:57):
But still, I know I'd write to them, would be
like and they're definitely gonna make it. It was.
Speaker 3 (57:09):
Just a few weeks off. That's what the hard part was.
It's like, we could have all been together, but for
whatever reason, why didn't you do it?
Speaker 2 (57:19):
She was she was traveling during the summer, she had
a lot going on. She could never like settle in
and watch it. Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 4 (57:29):
Summer's busy trying to binge it. Why did it take
so long?
Speaker 3 (57:32):
Well, yeah, it's not. It really is meant to be
consumed in real time because it's every night except for
Wednesdays and Saturdays, and you it's a mental.
Speaker 4 (57:46):
Jump.
Speaker 3 (57:47):
It's a leap where you're going, My summer is their summer.
We're doing this team, you know, it's different than Yeah,
and by.
Speaker 4 (57:57):
The way, some of those episodes were over an hour
and you can condense it. I don't need to watch
every avocado toast being made. And some of those games,
some of those games were long and very stupid. Some
of those games, some of the games are good and sexy,
and I was like, oh man, love these games. I
love the costume strip game. But like some of the games,
I'm like, down the waterslide, hit in the face.
Speaker 2 (58:19):
I'm like, I fast forward it through a lot.
Speaker 4 (58:21):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (58:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (58:22):
Emily tried to prank me so hard by saying, like
when it was one of those ridiculous games where nothing
happened and it took so long to get through the
game and it was stupid and you got nothing out
of it. She texted me and said, Amy, you have
to make sure you watch this competition, like every second
of it, or I'll still miss it because something happens.
(58:44):
And the second I started watching it, I go to myself,
She's so full of shit and I'm not falling for it.
And I skip right through it and I go, ha ha,
you try to get me, and she was she was
dumbfounded because I had her number, and she was like,
for sure i'd get you, and I go, you sure didn't.
So I outsmartted smotted on that one. Anyway, anything left
(59:07):
to say on this second episode of Mormon Wives.
Speaker 4 (59:13):
I left it all on the table. I'm excited for
the rest of it, and I earned your listeners to
get a vibrator and watch every episode with us.
