Absolutely — let’s take a deep dive into Trait #1: Grandiose Self‑Importance, one of the core hallmarks of narcissistic personality disorder (NPD).

Narcissists truly believe they are superior to others — not in a light, confident way, but in a delusional, entitled way. They exaggerate talents, achievements, intellect, or appearance, and expect everyone else to agree — even when the facts say otherwise.

This goes beyond confidence. It's inflated identity + entitlement + lack of humility.

  • They turn every conversation back to themselves, even your trauma or joy.

  • They lie or embellish accomplishments — degrees, job titles, relationships, finances.

  • They dominate group spaces — meetings, family dinners, even prayer circles — as if they’re the keynote speaker.

  • They name-drop constantly to inflate their status: “Yeah, I know someone at the top...”

  • They compare themselves to famous or powerful people (“I’m basically like Elon Musk — I just haven’t been discovered yet”).

  • They create imaginary fan clubs in their head — convinced others are jealous, obsessed, or in love with them.

  • They can’t tolerate being seen as ordinary — even if it means faking relevance.

  • “If you somehow made your coworker’s funeral about your career grind… you might just be a narcissist.”

  • “If you casually bring up your high school football stats during a baby shower… that’s a red flag and a penalty.”

  • “If you expect praise for doing the bare minimum — like parenting or showing up to work — congrats, you're not special, you're just employed.”

  • “If someone else’s success makes you feel personally attacked… that’s not self-worth, that’s narcissism.”

👩‍🦱: “I finally got into therapy, and I’m proud of myself.”
👨‍🦰 (Narcissist): “Wow. That’s great. I remember when I went to therapy — my therapist said I was her smartest client.”
👩‍🦱: “...Okay?”
👨‍🦰: “I mean, not to brag, but I helped her grow as a professional.”

Proverbs 27:2 – “Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth; an outsider, and not your own lips.”

or

Romans 12:3 – “Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment.”

Want to build this out into a script, a carousel post, or animated satire sketch? I can take it wherever you want — serious, spiritual, savage, or hilarious.
