In our first quarantine book club, we try to calm our anxiety about the global pandemic by chatting about an all-time favorite, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling*. Having read through the series multiple times, we loved picking up on foreshadowing and connections that will come into play later on. We also chat about the casting of the movie characters, Harry’s treatment from the Dursleys, our houses, and more! And we couldn’t forget to give credit to the true hero of the series, Hermione.
