My good friend Dr. Loni Tabb joined me on the Drive Like a Mother podcast to discuss the coronavirus pandemic, how it affects Brown and Black Americans, and what we can do to protect our health and wellness and reduce the impact if we contract the virus. 

One of the most important takeaways during my conversation with Dr. Tabb was her emphasis on the relationship between the coronavirus survival rate and cardiovascular health. She shared that people who had healthy hearts and lungs were able to recover with a less severe impact. Here are the seven things people can do to improve their cardiovascular health:
