Lots of things Spider-man once again in this episode of the show. It is making so much money that it detracts from the so called superhero fatigue. Linz has also started watching Lanterns, which all of our listeners should do as well. It is so good. Tony has been tackling his backlog of Absolute comics, and is planning on having a more full review next episode, but so far it is absolutely amazing. ...
Summer is coming to an end and the kids are back in school. And since the fun of summer subsides, Linz and Tony are back from adventures to bring another episode of your favorite nerd podcast. Linz finally saw Spider-Man BND, and has a few thoughts on it. Tony brought up a sad state for power ranger fans, and the duo talked about great things within comics.
The drunken duo has a lot to talk about this week. Although the last episode was right before SDCC, this one comes out with all the news from the Comic Con. Besides all the nerdy news, Tony starts off talking about Spider-Man: Brand New Day. He didn't spoil anything, as it's too new, but wow do you all need to go watch it. Tony had lots of time on his road trip to read a LOT of comics. So he started the first half of this show with many recommendations for you all to read. They also talked a little news, but it is scarce having recorded right before SDCC. So look forward to the next podcast with more of what came out of San Diego Comic Con.
And once again, it's that time of year where the group takes vacations, so the pods are less than steller for upload speeds. This one is a bit more late than usual because Tony had a month away from home. But there is still a lot of funn witty banter between Linz and him, that it doesn't matter when you listen. Another week down in the school year, another 2 weeks of news and notes of all things nerdy with Drunk on Comics. (although as of this posting, it has been more than 1 week into the semester. ).
Tony and Linz don't have any reviews this week again. Life keeps getting in the way of a good story, But there is a lot of fun coming down the comic book pipeline. Tony is looking forward to the D.C.KO event. The line up isinteresting, and could make for some great discussions. Plus lots more from the nerd-0-sphere in this weeks episode of Drunk on Comics.
