"What is grief, if not love persevering?"
Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been criticized as not having a central theme - how do all the films and shows connect? What's the big picture? Well, it should come as no surprise that grief is the central theme in the multiverse saga given the catastrophic events that took place from Thanos' snap - now referred to as "the blip."
From the beginning of Phase 4 with Wandavision all the way to the heartache induced by the loss of the late Chadwick Boseman in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, we watched as these characters traversed through emotional hardships.
With Phase 4 ending its chapter in the MCU, we wanted to do a special episode to address and analyze the themes of grief and loss in this phase. To help us in our analysis, we're joined by Spencer and Naz of the DIfferent Spectrums Podcast, where Naz is a professional, licensed therapist.
Don't worry - this episode isn't entirely serious as we crack plenty of jokes, even though many of them are at Gilgamesh's expense...sorry to the Eternals fans out there.
