Reverend Morris Brock ('54) earned his Bachelor's Degree in Religion with a minor in History from ETBC in 1954. After pastoring several churches in Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas, Reverend Brock has spent his retirement years in Marshall and frequently comes to campus for events.
Quantel Williams ('18, '20) received both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from ETBU. Quantel was active in leadership across campus including serving as Student Government Association President and as a Resident Assistant in Residence Life. He has served in a variety of ministry capacities and now is the Director of Residence Life at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
Richard graduated with a BBA in Management and a minor in Economics/Finance. Richard met his wife Amy at ETBU and currently works as a Nurse Anesthetist in Tyler, Texas. Richard's grandfather attended ETBU and later served on the Board.
Pete Rose (’96) is Assistant Principal at Louise Durham Elementary School in Mena, Arkansas. A former Marine, Pete pitched for Coach Kneipp as an ETBU Tiger in the nineties. Pete and Leilani have three grown children and five grandsons. Their son, Austin, is a Freshman angler on the ETBU Bass Team. Kenneth Vines (’00) earned a BA in Spanish with a minor in Religion. Kenny grew up in Houston, spent time as a Marine, and came to ETBU at the age of 28. Matt Arnett (’07) lives in Rockwall, Texas and is married to Sarah (Barth) Arnett (’09). Shaune Martinez ('96) and Kristie Banks Martinez ('95) have been married for 23 years, have a nine year old daughter, and live in Kristie’s hometown of Tyler, TX. Shaune spent the first 25 years of his career developing programs and people within non-profit organizations. He now serves as a financial advisor and a non-profit board member in East Texas and continues to help people and organizations plan for the future.
Meagan lives on a small hobby farm in Longview with her husband, Weston, five kids, 100 chickens, and 15 cats. She is a soccer mom, PTA President, and drives a minivan, but she listens to Ben Rector, so she’s still kinda cool. Her favorite way to serve those in her home, church, and community is by baking the world’s best chocolate chip cookies. A 2009 graduate of ETBU, Meagan also served as Student Activities Coordinator.
