A Woman's Sacrifice

Hello family,

I deleted this episode for a moment because I thought maybe I had an error in some of what I said. The Lord has a way of gently letting us know if we are on the right path or not. I was in a quandary during this episode about the woman who wiped Jesus's feet vs. the one who anointed His head. From what I have confirmed, they are one and the same. I just can't handle having anything off base because I really care about what you hear and what you learn. No false doctrine is my goal. Even if I have to delete the whole thing. To Him be the glory if any of these help you on your walk. Jes greatly love you

This audio episode on Spotify is some of my first episodes in a line of many. I am taking what I have been building to put out my works' audio portions. I hope it blesses you and that you grow as I have from the work done in and through me.

Mark 14:1-9

This episode is about Mary and Jesus at Bethany. Jesus is in Simon the leper's home with His disciples and others. He is watching patiently while people around Him are critical of a woman named Mary doing something they think is selfish and not of God. Jesus steps in and rebukes all of those who attacked her character and promises a beautiful testimony to the world from her selfless and timely act of love and worship to Him.

Questions to ponder:

1. Why were the people in the room so critical of Mary for breaking perfume over Jesus?

2. How do we know it was Mary?

3. Is this the woman mentioned in the other gospel about breaking a perfume flask and washing Jesus's feet with her hair?

4. Why is it important to stay in our lane and not judge our brothers and sisters for doing what God calls them to do?

5. Can we judge our brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus with the world's standards, too?

6. Are we all called to the same ministry and purpose? The same testimony and walk?

7. What does faith look like in this event?

8. Why was this flask broken and poured upon Jesus's head, and what is the significance of this worship?

9. Can we as believers now give Jesus that same faith and fragrance, the devotion and love Mary showed Jesus today?

10. Did Jesus die, and did He rise from the dead 3 days later?

11. How can you know whether a work is of God or not?

All of these questions can be answered in God's word and hopefully addressed in this audio recording.
