PLNT Burger began in 2019 in Maryland and has since expanded to 11 locations, most recently opening in Boston’s South End. We talk about why Jonah is so passionate about PLNT Burger, why the PLNT Burger mission stems back to Jonah’s childhood, why he went to work in the meat industry, the many benefits of swapping meat for plant-based meat, why products like Beyond meat are not that processed, why big meat is also a human rights issues, the day to day reality of operating restaurants, and why we all vote with our dollar.
